Fox Hollow Catering, Hotel & Restaurant is an elegant wedding and event venue located in Woodbury, NY. Situated on Long Island's Gold Coast, this elegant event space offers eight acres of picture-perfect grounds. The gardens feature landscaped flowers, waterfalls, and streams, for romantic photo backdrops. Fox Hollow Catering, Hotel & Restaurant is owned and operated by the Scotto brothers. They are helped by the venue's events team, made up of sales managers and an experienced event coordinator. Together, they go above and beyond to give every couple a celebration they'll remember forever. Fox Hollow Catering, Hotel & Restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor event spaces where your wedding vision can come to life. Your milestone day can begin in the hotel's private dressing suite, where you can finish preparing for your day with the rest of your party. An in-house planner, meanwhile, helps to look after the smaller details to ensure nothing is overlooked. Up to 285 guests can be comfortably accommodated here, whether you're planning a vow renewal or a romantic elopement. You can hold your reception in one of the hotel's stylish banquet halls, with views of the beautiful gardens. The Winter Garden Pavilion, with its ceiling of skylights, offers a stunning setting for your festivities. You can also celebrate in the Garden Terrace, the largest event space in this venue. This room has floor-to-ceiling windows and a balcony, as well as chandeliers that add to the luxurious atmosphere. In addition, this banquet room has two bars, a cocktail room, and an outdoor chapel for ceremonies. The venue's award-winning culinary team is ready to create a custom menu, tailored to fit your personal tastes and preferences. Sound equipment is provided, while a custom lighting setup can also be supplied.

Had the absolute best experience having my wedding at The Fox Hollow Somerley room. Everyone I spoke with was quick to respond, honest, helpful and professional.Bruce helped us book, Victoria and Hilary helped with the details, Matthew was an amazing Matre D made sure the day went smoothly and Glenda our bridal attendant made sure we had everything we needed all day.I did all the planning myself and Fox Hollow made it so stress-free.The food was amazing and never-ending. We had a December wedding and the decor was so beautiful and elegant.The Somerley room is SO beautiful. If you are thinking of booking your wedding there, DO IT!

Had a seamless wedding day, couldn’t have asked for better! Beautiful grounds and reception room (Wintergarden) and logistics went very smoothly. Our maitre d was Arthur and my bridal attendant was Angie. Arthur made us feel confident and comfortable, ensuring us that our day would be perfect. You can’t plan for everything… during photos before the ceremony, something green fell from one of the trees onto my dress!! Angie came to the rescue, and got the stain out!The food was incredible and our guests haven’t stopped talking about it. Fox Hollow did an excellent job coordinating with our vendors. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. I should also mention we live out of town, and planned our entire wedding from a distance. They were very easy to work with and accommodated us as necessary.

This was a venue I was interested even before I was engaged. It was the first thing we confirmed and I'm so glad we did. The staff was incredibly helpful, and my menu was very much customized to meet dietary restrictions for me and my guests. The amenities are incredible -- bridal suites, hotel on the same ground, beautiful grounds, etc. No regrets -- just wish I could relive the day!

We had an incredible experience with the fox hollow all throughout our planning process. They boast about their weddings and it was easy to see why! Hilary was so quick to respond to all of our questions. Our Maitre d was Tommy and he was so great and kept us on schedule and had our event running smoothly. Our bridal attendant was Glenda. She was soo helpful, she even pinned up my dress for me more so I wouldn't trip on it during our first dance. The staff made sure we and our bridal party had drinks and food throughout pictures and the rest of the day. Our guests raved about the food, the beauty of the venue and how smoothly the whole day ran. We were so happy with the venue, would highly recommend.The hotel experience was also great, we had to add rooms even after the deadline for our block and the staff helped us to do that. The hotel rooms were really nice and many guests were able to check into them early on the wedding day which was so helpful. My only complaint is that housekeeping came to my room after we got ready there, and only took the towels but did not replace them and they didnt make the bed or do anything else. Other than that- the hotel was great. The free breakfast was pretty good for hotel breakfast also.

We recently (July 29, 2023) had our wedding at the Fox Hollow in the Somerly room and it all turned out beautiful. Our guests had a great time and especially enjoyed the food. I understand from other reviews that both the Maitre D and bridal attendant are an integral part of the wedding day running smoothly. While I appreciated having them, this review in particular is about Matt the Maitre D. Matt was helpful in terms of doing his job, which is bare minimum. However, he was consistently RUDE to my DJ and MC, he was also rude to my bridal party and we got several complaints about him and how difficult he was to work with from both our DJ and MC. Matt literally yelled at the bridal party during the lineup to walk into the reception area and was overall very short with people. He was not particularly a warm person and overall wasn’t well liked. At one point he approached me during the reception about switching into my second wedding dress portion of the evening, my husband is Nigerian American and so we were having some parts of the wedding dedicated to some of those Nigerian traditions. Matt out of nowhere proceeded to say to me that he is a “white man” and doesn’t understand those traditions. Overall I feel it was UNFORTUNATE to have been assigned to Matt as our Maitre D, and it’s too bad because we loved James, who helped book us into the fox hollow and won us over back when we were shopping around for venues. James was also super helpful on the day of the wedding and he was hands on and helpful to the groom party and even helped them with putting on their corsages! He got them water and drinks and provided them with information with what to expect as far as walking down the aisle, etc. Overall, Fox Hollow is a beautiful place to get married and I especially enjoyed my stay at the fox hollow inn the night before the wedding. Both James and Hilary were extremely helpful to us throughout the months leading up to the wedding. Unfortunately Matt the Maitre D was the only negative aspect about the otherwise beautiful wedding. We did all communication from the west coast and I was happy with how accessible Hilary and James were whenever we had questions.

My husband and I just got married and had our ceremony and reception at the Fox Hollow! We loved the venue, the food, but most importantly, we couldn’t have been happier with the customer service we received! We initially met and spoke with Gennaro who is informative, professional, and ultimately we loved our wedding package and booked through him. Noelia was my bridal attendant and holy moly this woman is incredible!!! I honestly feel bridal attendants need to be given more credit and recognized more because they do sooo much!! She was friendly, professional, punctual, and kept me informed throughout the day and night of what was to come next. She adjusted my dress, held it when walking through the grounds, bustled it before reception, and helped keep me calm right before the ceremony, plus so much more! I can’t thank Noelia enough for all her help my wedding day!! Samir was our Maitre D-he and his team were fantastic! Great communication, everything ran smoothly, couldn’t have asked for anything better! Thank you all!

After booking our March 2023 wedding at the Fox Hollow (Garden Terrace room), we were confident the day was going to be amazing. The team was kind, helpful, and accommodating throughout the entire process. Fast forward to wedding day... and all of our expectations were exceeded. Our Maitre d', Matt, was incredible! He kept us calm, in the loop, and had all operations running like a well oiled machine. Not to mention he was funny, approachable, respectful, and came to my rescue when my dress strap broke! Our bridal attendant, Katira, was equally as incredible. She was by our side (holding my dress and bouquet!!) throughout photos (even bringing out a warm cloth as it got chilly!), brought us food for our own private moment before heading into cocktail hour, checked in on us constantly throughout the night, and made sure we were taken care of. Matt and Katira are superstars and we cannot thank them enough!!!Many venues in the area persuade couples by pushing \"one wedding per day\" set-ups... this is not needed at the Fox. Fox Hollow ensures that every single wedding has their own arrival times, photo times, and a dedicated staff to cater to any and every need. I truly felt like the only bride in the world, let alone one of a few weddings that day!From cocktail hour, to the reception, to our after party, - the food was AMAZING. Our guests are still raving about their meals and overall experience on our special day. I would choose Fox Hollow over and over and recommend to any couple looking for their perfect wedding location. The value of what you receive in your package is high and the experience of the staff is second to none.

My husband and I needed to plan our wedding in three months before moving out of state. We struggled to find a venue that would host our 30 person wedding especially on such short notice. When we called, we were told that the wedding could be hosted through their restaurant, The Volpe. After meeting with the restaurant manager Nicole, we were able tour the possible event rooms, choose a date, and get a price estimate. She was constantly working with us, trying to get us to have the best wedding we could, regardless of circumstance. Nicole went above and beyond for us, coordinating our entire wedding start to finish while managing The Volpe. She had helped us pick out all of our vendors, including our DJ, officiant, photographer, and florist--the latter was set up just over a week before the wedding. The event itself was flawless, and special accommodations were instantly made when necessary or asked. Nicole was always professional, charismatic, quick on her feet, and extremely kind. We were able to fully enjoy our wedding day without stress thanks to the wonderful staff at the Fox Hollow.

My husband and I were able to have a “small” dinner at the Fox Hollow in August of 2020, and a full first anniversary reception there in August of 2021 as well. From the beginning of the planning process to the roller coaster of Covid changes, the Fox Hollow was very easy to work with and extremely helpful. Gennaro and Hilary helped plan the dinner in 2020 and Hilary helped coordinate the 2021 reception. We wanted the small dinner in 2020 to feel different than a full reception, but still celebratory, and the Fox Hollow was so good about helping us make changes. In 2020, we held our dinner in the smaller, but gorgeous Winter Garden room. We did our first dance together, but everyone watched from their tables and no one joined in. We did not do toasts. We had grandparent dances instead of parent dances, because we were both concerned that our grandparents, who are all in their 80s or 90s, might not be there to celebrate with us in 2021 (though, thankfully, our grandparents are alive and well)! We took pictures of cutting the cake for the photographer, but didn’t do the whole cake cutting ritual. We didn’t have a band in 2020, so instead, we plugged my MOH’s phone into the sound system there and played a Spotify playlist that my husband and I curated. We asked that drinks be served to the tables. The bar was open, still, but it definitely eliminated the need for a line at the bar and prevented clustering at a time when Covid was more of a concern. They also went above and beyond service-wise. (For instance, my husband wanted a white Russian, and the bartender ran over to the hotel to get milk.)In 2021, the Fox Hollow was excellent about coordinating vendors, answering my multitude of questions, and making sure that the big party went smoothly. We were in the Garden Terrace room, which could accommodate our bigger guest list. Cocktail hour food, dinner food, and everything edible there was amazing. Dropping off memory table pictures, favors, seating cards, etc. was so easy. Hilary worked with us to help plan and coordinate things every step of the way, even my husband’s somewhat complicated request for a video montage to play. The timeline went smoothly, but SO QUICKLY, with parent dances, our first dance again, the cake cutting, bouquet toss, and garter toss.

We were in the Garden Terrace room, which could accommodate our bigger guest list. Cocktail hour food, dinner food, and everything edible there was amazing. Dropping off memory table pictures, favors, seating cards, etc. was so easy. Hilary worked with us to help plan and coordinate things every step of the way, even my husband’s somewhat complicated request for a video montage to play. The timeline went smoothly, but SO QUICKLY, with parent dances, our first dance again, the cake cutting, bouquet toss, and garter toss.

I couldn’t be happier with our venue choice. Our experience with Fox Hollow has been nothing short of amazing. It was the first venue we looked at and we couldn’t get it off our minds until we finally decided to commit to this venue. Everything about Fox Hollow is incredible. Everyone was so easy to work with and they made sure everything was absolutely perfect. We got married in the Winter Garden Room. It was absolutely beautiful. Our guests are still talking about the atmosphere and how much they loved the space. It was like a dream! The staff at Fox Hollow was amazing as well. We had Carlos as our Maitre’d and Noelina and Natalia as our Bridal Attendants. They were AMAZING!! They allowed us to enjoy our night and kept our schedule to absolute perfection. They always made sure we were good with drinks, food and anything else we needed. They made the experience even more enjoyable. Everything about Fox Hollow made our wedding day absolutely unforgettable and we are so excited to go back every year to Volpe (the restaurant on the property) to celebrate!! I got married at Fox in the Winter Garden room on 1/8/2022. My maître d was Josh who was THEEE best. He was sweet, calm and supportive both the days leading up to the wedding and the day of. We were so grateful to have someone so dedicated and detail oriented running our wedding. I cannot say enough great things about him.My bridal attendant, Sophia, was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. She was by my side the entire night to refresh a drink, re-tie my bustle, and help with anything I needed. Sophia was literally there at every moment to assist. I truly don't know what I would have done without her. If you can, I WHOLEHEARTEDLY recommend requesting her as your bridal attendant. Josh and Sophia were 10 steps ahead of me the entire day. Both made sure my husband and I were taken care of and happy above all else. I had multiple boxes of decorations with long lists of instructions and they followed them to a T. Overall, our wedding day was amazing. I will start with the positives, as there are far more of them: We held our wedding at the Fox Hollow in their Winter Garden room on 12/4/21, and it was just beautiful. We decorated the room to reflect our own style as a couple (Replaced their usual chuppah with a modern wedding arch, brought in bistro lights to hang from the ceiling, and filled the room with candlelight) and were so happy with how it turned out! There was so much food, with ample choices for our guests, beyond the chicken, steak and fish that you usually find on a wedding menu. The quality of the food is great, and the all-inclusive experience was very much appreciated, with catering, open bar, a wedding cake, two bridal attendants, valet parking, coat check, a bridal suite and a complimentary hotel room for us included. My bridal attendant, Rose, was wonderful and very enthusiastic about helping us with whatever she could. She even turned down the temperature in the room when she saw I was a bit too warm. That said, if there is anything we would have liked to be better about our experience with the Fox Hollow, it was the rest of the staff. Leading up to the big day, it was relatively difficult to get a hold of the right people on the phone when we needed them. Also, my mother told us there was a server in the reception that behaved rudely with her throughout the evening. I, myself noticed that my bridal attendant had to double as a waitress during the reception, which I’m not sure is normal or not, but I felt it made her unavailable to perform her duties to us as the couple. Finally, it felt to me that the staff (or at least our Maitre D), had issues with some of the vendors we hired outside of their recommended catalogue. Our florist called me to say that Fox Hollow wasn't letting him in to drop off our flowers in the suite before we showed up. In addition, there was a battle of authority between our Maitre D and our photographers, as the Maitre D was trying to tell us where and when to take our photos. Our photographer actually needed to assert herself and put them in their place, which we were appreciative of. If you’re going to book a wedding here, there is a lot to love, but please be aware that they probably expect you to hire vendors off of their recommended list.

We booked during the pandemic without even seeing the venue that’s how confident Bruce made us feel! You absolutely do not have to worry about a thing. Their attention to detail is impeccable. Josh our Maitre D and Anna our Bridal Attendant were amazing. They went above and beyond by not only ensuring our day was special but taking care of our parents throughout the evening. From the setting and decorations at the venue to the food, we could not have been happier. Looking back we honestly would not have changed a thing. This level of service and professionalism was complimented tremendously by each of our guests most of who were from out of town and could not believe the beauty of the wedding. We cannot thank Fox Hollow enough for an amazing day.

Came in and interacted with Bruce. I made a deposit of $1,400 for the venue when only $1,000 required. Some things changed and was not able to fully continue. Bruce stated that my deposit cannot be return in full. He also said that he will deduct $500 for the work he’s done. That left me with a $900 return. Mind you: only $1,000 deposit was needed. To date, Fox Hollow took my hard earn money and refuse to give me back my $900. All of that happened during the peak of COVID-19. I have been emailing Bruce and he has been giving me the run around... These guys are thieves and a disappointment...

We booked before COVID, and we fell in love immediately with this venue, as there is truly nothing like this one on Long Island. Fast forward to the week of the wedding, Samir, our maitre d truly went above and beyond for us. I always heard great things about Samir, but I will never be able to put into words just how incredible he is. His passion and attention to detail is truly unmatched. He and my wonderful bridal attendant, Noelia, were 10 steps ahead of me the entire day. My veil blew off into a pond and without me even knowing, they had it dried and fixed for me within 15 minutes. From David who we met, and booked with two years ago, to Hilary who walked us through all the steps leading up to our big day. And on our day we couldn't have asked for better people then Josh our maître d, and Ashley my bridal attendant. They knew our needs before we knew we needed them and made us feel like it was our day. Samir was simply put, AMAZING! not only is he amazing at what he does but he is one of the nicest people I have ever met. He has a handle on every detail and not one thing was out of place. And honestly if it was I wouldn’t have worried about it because he would have taken care of it. If you get Samir as your Matre de do not worry about a thing, your day will run smoothly. I had Nohelia as my bridal attendant and she was the absolute sweetest and was literally there every time I needed her. We would walk out the doors and she had a drink for both of us. She took my shoes of and would tie my sneakers when they got loose, somehow she just knew I needed her when I did. Anything I needed she had it in her pocket or got it in a flash. At the end of the night while at the after party they packed up all of our things and at the end of the party she walked it over with us to the hotel and unpacked everything in our room and went over everything that they packed up. We didn’t have to lift a finger. And after a night of partying, well, that’s the last thing you want to do. Nothing but great things to say about them and just great vibes overall. 10/10 would recommend

And honestly if it was I wouldn’t have worried about it because he would have taken care of it. If you get Samir as your Matre de do not worry about a thing, your day will run smoothly. I had Nohelia as my bridal attendant and she was the absolute sweetest and was literally there every time I needed her. We would walk out the doors and she had a drink for both of us. She took my shoes of and would tie my sneakers when they got loose, somehow she just knew I needed her when I did. Anything I needed she had it in her pocket or got it in a flash. At the end of the night while at the after party they packed up all of our things and at the end of the party she walked it over with us to the hotel and unpacked everything in our room and went over everything that they packed up. We didn’t have to lift a finger. And after a night of partying, well, that’s the last thing you want to do. Nothing but great things to say about them and just great vibes overall. 10/10 would recommend

My wedding was in March, right before the shutdown. It's taken me a while to write this because I hate giving bad reviews and have been putting this off. I want to start off by saying that our guests had a great time, and the wait staff and my bridal attendant were WONDERFUL. That being said, as a bride my experience here was AWFUL from pretty much start to finish. The whole experience was full of unnecessary stress and anxiety. To name a few things: our wedding coordinator acted like I was bothering her the few times I reached out with questions and when we met with her in person, the roof of the reception room was leaking the morning of my wedding and I had to personally keep going back to the venue to check if it was fixed and safe for my guests, and the maitre'd called me while I was getting dressed to go over my seating arrangements (he had multiple copies) and said it needed to be done right at that moment which made me late to our photos. I'm so grateful that my guests had a great time, but I had such a difficult experience from start to finish.

We got married at the Fox Hollow in December and everything was absolutely perfect! My fiancé and I live outside of NY so originally thought planning an entire wedding from a distance could be challenging, but the Fox Hollow was so helpful throughout the process and made it so easy for us and my parents (who are local). The day of was absolutely incredible... from the look of the venue, to the food, to the staff... we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Kiersten, our bridal attendant, was SO attentive and made sure we were having a great time throughout the whole night. Our guests are still talking about what an incredible wedding we had, saying things like “I’m not just saying this because I’m your friend, but this was the best wedding I’ve been to”. I had complete confidence in the venue from our experience throughout the planning process but that was only validated further throughout the reception. Everything ran so smoothly. I said it before but I’ll say it again, people were raving about the food... especially the cocktail hour! We had a lot of people traveling in from New England so it was also great to have the hotel right next store. We had 50 rooms blocked and it was amazing to be able to have everyone at the hotel bar before and after the reception. It really made for a great experience all around!The Fox Hollow just gets it when it comes to weddings... I would recommend to anyone!!

I can’t say enough about this venue. I had my wedding on 9/19/19. Josh was my maitre d’ and Nichoil (sorry if spelling of her name is incorrect) was my bridal attendant. They were both amazing. The Fox Hollow provided a seamless, magical event for our wedding last month. We, originally from NY, were doing the majority of our wedding planning from out of state, and Jessica really worked with us despite the long distance. The day of, we didn't have to worry about ANYTHING! Our Maitre D, Arthur, was amazing making sure everyone was where they needed to be. It's been one week since we got married and I just have to say, The Fox Hollow, hands down, was the best decision we made to have them host our wedding. We booked this venue over a year ago. It was the first venue we visited and we knew this is what we wanted. Bruce, the sales manager, was amazing. He walked us through all of our choices. The operations manager, Jessica, was extremely friendly and helpful. Rose, the bridal attendant, held my dress, covered me up when it was time to eat and was always by my side. She made sure my dress looked great for pictures by always setting it up for the photographer. But through everyone that we dealt with, our maitre d, Arthur, was the best person we could have asked for. Arthur was extremely detail oriented, made sure our bridal party know what they were doing (ceremony/reception entrances), kept everyone on schedule and ensured that my husband and I had the time of our lives. If anyone books this venue, I would ask to request Arthur. We cannot get over how special he made our day. Our flower girl was only 2, she was crying, Arthur asked - What will make her stop crying, the father said crackers - Arthur got her crackers! This is the type of person Arthur is. Nice, attentive and understandable. You can tell that he is passionate about his job and this is why we had the time of our lives! To this day, we cannot stop talking about how amazing Arthur was. At the end of the night, when it was just my husband and I, Arthur took one last photo on our cell phones and asked if we were okay before we left for the night. Arthur and Rose escorted us to the hotel and ensured we were okay. The guests could not stop raving about the food (which I did get to eat, yum!). Everyone had the time of their lives and I would not change one thing about our special day. Thank you to the Fox Hollow staff for everything that you did! For any future bride and grooms looking to book, I would highly recommend The Fox Hollow. P.S - The Inn at the Fox Hollow was also great. Guests loved staying right next door. It was convenient. If you do book, I would recommend doing your room blocks as soon as possible. They do sell out quickly. Other than that, I hope, if you took the time to read through this review, that you do choose The Fox Hollow. You will not be disappointed and ask for Arthur!!!!

My maître d (Arthur) was amazing and ran the night so smoothly. I’m a control freak and have OCD – when I met Arthur he put me so at ease. He could definitely tell I was crazy and literally said to me, “anything you tell me what you want to happen will happen.” He wasn’t lying. He was so on the ball. If there were any issues during the night I had absolutely no idea. My bridal attendant, Kirsten, was great too. She was helpful all night and always there when I needed her. I’d 100% recommend Fox Hollow.

The venue makes the wedding and we are so happy that we made the right choice in using the Fox Hollow for ours. After seeing other venues, nothing came close to comparing to the Fox Hollow, especially considering what they gave you and for the price. The outdoor ceremony venue was everything we could’ve wanted. With a night wedding, they had it all lit up so nicely and elegantly with flowers all around that they provide and not to mention the waterfalls all around. It was the perfect setting to get married at. Cocktail hour, we had so many great stations to choose from along with a beautiful ice sculpture that we got to choose as part of the package (we made it the Brooklyn Bridge which they were perfectly fine doing). The food options at the reception were even better. Most places only allow you to have 4 to 5 options at the most on a menu. They give everyone 9 menu options and they are all top notch ranging from filet steak to salmon to duck to a vegan meal. They also not only provide the cake as part of the package through a local bakery but also a dessert and an exit station with pretzels, cookies, iced tea and lemonade to go. Everyone was raving about the food and drinks all night. They were also very accommodating for our guests and bride who had all different allergies from dairy allergies to being vegan to gluten allergies to nut allergies to soy allergies. They made sure everyone had something to eat at all meals which was so important to us and really made the night. The staff really makes the night and the whole experience that much better as well. From the start with the sale manager Bruce helping us out a year in advance, they were there with us every step and wanted to make sure everything goes smoothly during the rest of the process. The matradee Matt was very organized and friendly, making sure everything went according to plan and keeping us up to date about everything going on to make sure we were good. The bridal attendant Dorothy was amazing as well, making sure that from the moment we started pictures to the time we got back to our hotel room next door that we had drinks to stay hydrated, food whether it was before the ceremony, during cocktail hour or at the reception, making sure we had all of our stuff that we brought and even just making sure the bride didn’t trip on her veil. We could go on and on about how beautiful the rooms are and how you even get an amazing room at the Inn at Fox Hollow right next door. Simply put, our wedding went beyond our expectations and we are so thankful that we chose the Fox Hollow! We would highly recommend it to anyone for their wedding!

Thanks to him we were able to seat a large group of friends at one table instead of separating them into two. Day of, our Matrid was Samir. We met with him the Monday before our wedding and he was also amazing. We’d had a lot of signs and specific instructions for special desserts for an anniversary & birthday. Somehow Samir remembered every detail. I was sure something would go undone but truly Samir made us feel so comfortable and confident. He was so passionate and invested in our day and made sure every detail and moment of our wedding happened the way we envisioned it. He was sweet, calm and supportive both the days leading up to the wedding and the day of. We were so grateful to have someone so dedicated and detail oriented running our wedding. We had Kristen (or Kirsten??) as our bridal attendant who was also INCREDIBLE - sweet, supportive, calm, and on top of anything and everything. She asked us always at the exact right moments if we needed anything and brought it right to us -anything we needed from drinks, to TUMS, to a comb for my bangs that kept falling in my face, she ran to the next door hotel to get my bridesmaids who thought the “bridal suite” meant the hotel suite, she helped one of my bridesmaids get a huge stain of champagne that spilled on her dress out just before the ceremony rehearsal. She was incredible. You will definitely be in good hands the day of your wedding with the Fox Hollow operations team. Some other things: great food, next door hotel to stay in/get ready/host after party at hotel bar - we had to pay a fee to extend the hours a bit for this since our wedding ended at 1am. They do do more than one wedding at a time and a morning/afternoon event and evening event but we never saw another bride/groom in our time there. You’ll be in good hands. We definitely were.

She asked us always at the exact right moments if we needed anything and brought it right to us -anything we needed from drinks, to TUMS, to a comb for my bangs that kept falling in my face, she ran to the next door hotel to get my bridesmaids who thought the “bridal suite” meant the hotel suite, she helped one of my bridesmaids get a huge stain of champagne that spilled on her dress out just before the ceremony rehearsal. She was incredible. You will definitely be in good hands the day of your wedding with the Fox Hollow operations team. Some other things: great food, next door hotel to stay in/get ready/host after party at hotel bar - we had to pay a fee to extend the hours a bit for this since our wedding ended at 1am. They do do more than one wedding at a time and a morning/afternoon event and evening event but we never saw another bride/groom in our time there. You’ll be in good hands. We definitely were.

They took care of everything and allowed me to make multiple changes from the room layout, to the bar placement, to the outdoor cocktail hour. I had Samir as my maître- D and Megan as my bridal attendant and I cannot recommend either one of them enough!!! They were so attentive and doting and made sure everything was perfect. I had multiple boxes of decorations with long lists of instructions and they followed them to a T. The food was excellent and the timing of the night was absolutely perfect. The gardens were gorgeous and the timing of the night was flawless. Fox Hollow truly knows what they're doing and made sure that everything went smoothly. I was worried because 3 weddings go on at once and I did not see any other bride nor any of their wedding guests; you would have never known there were other weddings going on!! Thank you to Fox Hollow, and Samir and Megan for an amazing night!!

If anything went wrong we never knew about it. The food was absolutely amazing, people won't stop raving about it, and there was A LOT of food. The gardens were beautiful and I highly recommend going outside when its dark for pictures by the gate. Rose was our bridal attendant and she was also amazing, always holding my dress and making sure I was well hydrated while taking pictures in the humidity outside.

All night long she was my wing women asking me what I need, fixing my dress, holding my bouquet, getting me WHATEVER I needed and I can’t tell you how much that is appreciated as a bride. Do not be bullied by the Inn at Fox Hollow. This review is based on a bride who had a room block at this hotel. I did not have my wedding at this venue but I did reserve a room for myself and a block for my guests. As a newly engaged bride, I was excited to book my venue and find a hotel 5 minutes of driving distance. After speaking with Jennifer, the Sales Manager, she made it seem like the weekend of my wedding was not a super busy weekend so I should not have a problem booking only 10 rooms for the evening of my wedding. Also, in the reservation guarantee on the contract it states “a credit card is required to guarantee seventy percent of the books blocked in total. If less than 70% of the room nights are reserved from the block at the time of 1/16/2019, your credit card with be charged the difference.” If 70% of the rooms were not booked, I would be out $3,000. I decided to play it safe and not block off as many rooms. Well, all of the rooms that were booked quickly for Saturday evening and when I followed up to book more rooms and the ENTIRE HOTEL WAS BOOKED. Also, according to the front desk, the weekend of my wedding is extremely popular due to Valentine’s Day and it was President’s weekend. Great. Jennifer was no help but I spoke with her boss Laura who magically found two extra rooms available for that Saturday evening. I asked if any rooms opened up, to please let me know. Within a month before my wedding, 4 rooms did open up. I was told that I have 24 hours to ask my guests if they wanted to book their rooms at this hotel. Yeah let me stop everything that I am doing, pause wedding planning, take a break from work to reach out to all of my guests that could not stay at this hotel in the first place to have them stop what they are doing to book a hotel room. No. Apparently, I should have read the contract for the Inn at Fox Hollow again because they do not accept gift bags that have individual names on them. How was I supposed to remember that? My fiancé arrives with the gift bags and he was told that they do not accept individualized gift bags but they would give them to our guests at $5 per bag. My fiancé called and I said absolutely not, bring them home and we will figure it out. I confirmed with Jennifer and Laura that it stated nowhere on the contract this cost for individualized bags. Jennifer explained that delivering the bags to each guests’ room is a cost of $5 per bag. Well, that was not explained so from our end, it seems like you are hustling us for money. Again, until I got Laura involved, did a resolution helping us occurred. The hotel hand delivered our bags to our guests free of charge. This was great but I definitely would have been out even more money if I did not decided to look into this and decided to just cave to pay this fee. At this point, I am not looking forward to staying at this hotel. The Royal Suite, our hotel room, felt and looked smaller than the King Studio rooms my guests stayed in. My bridesmaids offered to switch rooms because they felt horrible that I spent more money for a room that had barely any differences for the additional cost. If you decide to stay here, to do not fall into their trap by spending the extra money because you do not want to deal with the hassle and stand your ground!!

Honestly, I fell in love with the venue from the minute I saw the Winter Garden room. My party was a little too big to have the party in the Winter Garden room so they let us have the ceremony there and then move the party into the Garden Terrace room. It was the perfect size for my party, no one felt cramped and everyone had PLENTY of room to dance! The food was AMAZING. Everyone in my big Italian family was so amazed by cocktail hour and their large menu for dinner, they thought I was mistaken when I said they got to choose between 10 entrees. From start to finish they were nothing but amazing with us. We even booked at the Inn to get ready the morning of and they worked with us with taking pictures on the property before my 6pm wedding since it got dark before our ceremony. Samir was my Maitre D and he was a complete doll, he was so thorough and nothing was missed! He was so much fun to work with. They really did right by us and I would recommend them to anyone.

We had an excellent experience with The Fox Hollow (and Inn at The Fox Hollow next door) and would recommend it as a wedding venue.Their experience was apparent from the beginning as they had all details taken into account before asking our for our thoughts and opinions. They covered all bases. They were able to offer a competitive per-head rate for our wedding. Additionally, they were able to accommodate our requests when we wanted to change something.The venue itself has many rooms you can choose from depending on your guest list size. There seem to be a couple \"tracks\" during which you are able to move your guests through different rooms thereby keeping all the experiences fresh. Otherwise, it's a very nice looking event space and even though there's a primary roadway nearby, noise was never an issue. The food at both Cocktail Hour and the Reception were phenomenal. Many guests felt the food was plentiful and tasty. There were many Cocktail Hour options from which to choose and we mixed and matched our favorites. We loved the fact that guests could order their dinner at the table - not months beforehand - from a list of ten entrees. The waitstaff was very courteous to the guests. Meals were served on time and this helped keep the night as a whole moving forward. The bar tenders were able to serve everyone and alleviate bottlenecks (forgive the pun). Our Maitre D' and Bridal Attendant (Samir and Renee) were awesome. They were around whenever we needed them and attended to all manner of requests. Mostly this venue was great, there were some areas where I saw they could improve. Hope this helps those looking to book.1.We opted for the seafood boat for the guest, and I was told there would be a mini seafood boat in the bridal suite. There was not.2. We did have a plate brought up the bridal suite for us during cocktail hour, although I was under the impression we would have a few chafing dishes with food so the bridal party could have some options. We were only given two plates of food.3. We requested no beer bottles be paced out. We had to tell three different people before this was corrected.4. We had a guest tell us that one full beer did not fit in the glasses being paced out, it doesn’t really make sense to me that you would serve beer in glasses that are too small to fit a serving of beer. Also the beer was being poured in glasses that were coming right out of the dishwasher into warm glasses. The glasses should have been chilled.5. We were told by several people one of the bar tenders was great, the other one had an attitude and was not friendly. This was very disappointed to hear since the bar is a major part of the party.6. We also opted for hot chocolate and pretzel exit station. I think it would have been better to have the hot chocolate labeled so people knew what it was (I think many thought it was coffee).7. I was also told by a few people coffee was never passed around.8. I know The Fox Hollow doesnt make the the cakes. Although we used Francesco’s since that’s the cake that was included. The cake was very disappointing. We picked the red velvet and it was completely different from what we sampled. Also the look of the cake was different from what we wanted.9. There was a glass that broke on the dance floor at the very end of the night. It took a while before it was cleaned up. Two people got cut by glass. I would think that’s something that would have been taken care of right away.On a better note:1. The bridal attendant was AMAZING. She was there for me with anything I needed. I was very impressed.2. The seafood boat that the guest got was a HUGE hit! Everyone loved it.3. Everyone was super friendly and helpful during the whole process!4. The cordial station was also a big hit!5. We would recommended the Fox Hollow to anyone looking to book their wedding!

Mostly this venue was great, there were some areas where I saw they could improve. Hope this helps those looking to book.1.We opted for the seafood boat for the guest, and I was told there would be a mini seafood boat in the bridal suite. There was not.2. We did have a plate brought up the bridal suite for us during cocktail hour, although I was under the impression we would have a few chafing dishes with food so the bridal party could have some options. We were only given two plates of food.3. We requested no beer bottles be paced out. We had to tell three different people before this was corrected.4. We had a guest tell us that one full beer did not fit in the glasses being paced out, it doesn’t really make sense to me that you would serve beer in glasses that are too small to fit a serving of beer. Also the beer was being poured in glasses that were coming right out of the dishwasher into warm glasses. The glasses should have been chilled.5. We were told by several people one of the bar tenders was great, the other one had an attitude and was not friendly. This was very disappointed to hear since the bar is a major part of the party.6. We also opted for hot chocolate and pretzel exit station. I think it would have been better to have the hot chocolate labeled so people knew what it was (I think many thought it was coffee).7. I was also told by a few people coffee was never passed around.8. I know The Fox Hollow doesnt make the the cakes. Although we used Francesco’s since that’s the cake that was included. The cake was very disappointing. We picked the red velvet and it was completely different from what we sampled. Also the look of the cake was different from what we wanted.9. There was a glass that broke on the dance floor at the very end of the night. It took a while before it was cleaned up. Two people got cut by glass. I would think that’s something that would have been taken care of right away.On a better note:1. The bridal attendant was AMAZING. She was there for me with anything I needed. I was very impressed.2. The seafood boat that the guest got was a HUGE hit! Everyone loved it.3. Everyone was super friendly and helpful during the whole process!4. The cordial station was also a big hit!5. We would recommended the Fox Hollow to anyone looking to book their wedding!

Having our wedding at the Fox Hollow was the best decision we could have made! From the moment we toured the facility, we knew we had to book. We got married in the Garden Terrace room and everything was beautiful, modern and recently redone - it was exactly what we were looking for! Not to mention, we visited about 10 reception halls and they 100% offered the biggest bang for your buck! Having the hotel so close by was a huge bonus for us and really was a lifesaver in saving on transportation! Everyone just walked next door to the after party at the hotel bar once the party ended! The reception itself was over the top amazing - the food was plentiful and delicious and guests were raving about it all night. We had a viennese hour, which extended the party by 30 mins, which was perfect, and the pizza exit station was the cherry on top of our perfect day! I cannot say enough good things about the staff who I worked with leading up to and on our big day. Jessica is the lead event coordinator and was prompt, professional and helpful in answering all of my questions I had leading up to the big day. Rosalie who works the front desk was so accommodating and sweet and helped with anything and everything. Our Maitre D, Arthur, was great and listened to exactly how I wanted every single detail on the day of and he delivered! We had lots of little details (table numbers, napkins, signature drink signs, welcome sign, favors, lanterns, a polaroid camera, etc.) and he made sure everything was exactly as I had envisioned before the party started! The real star staff member was my bridal attendant, Amy. I used to be a bridal attendance at another Long Island catering facility so I had high expectations and she truly exceeded them! She was a sweetheart, made sure my husband and I ate enough food and drank enough water, helped me in and out of my dress to go to the bathroom, bustled my dress with no problem, packed up TONS of food and brought all of our gifts to our hotel room next door! She went above and beyond for us and we truly felt so lucky to have her with us that day. Having our wedding at the Fox Hollow was the best decision we could have made - we can't wait to return to the restaurant on our anniversary!

As a bride and groom you want to let go the night of your wedding. You want to give everything a 5 star review because you made the selections. However, you also want things to go as planned. When entering the venue I was told that I would have a chance to pick the lighting. Only that didn’t happen and with everything else to think about it was easy to forget. The gentleman in charge could care less and was just focused on being pushy with a fake smile. I knew this would be my experience with him from the minute we had our final drop off. He knew nothing about my wedding and clearly didn’t even do a quick scan of my contract to fake it. I had to ask many times for the air to be put on and for the lights to be a color other than green which did nothing to complement our decor. Our personalities just clashed and after my husband and I had paid thousands of dollars for our own wedding it was disappointing. On a positive note, the food was plentiful and very good. Our bridal attendant, Kirsten, was as attentive as is possible for one person. She offered to go out of her way to help me on many occasions. She really did a great job. My husband felt like he was barely taken care of. Again, it is what it is because I married my best friend and nothing could take away my smile. It is just disappointing to invest so much time and money and then feel as if the service is subpar. This was my overall experience and I attempted to be as honest as possible. There are so many venues on Long Island do yourself a favor and find one that wants to hear what you have to say. Good luck brides and grooms! The stress will all disappear after the “I do’s” are exchanged.

I had me wedding ceremony and reception at The Foxhollow and it was the easiest venue to work with. I literally had nothing to worry about other than picking food from an amazing menu. Matt our Maitre D and Renee the bridal attendant for the day were AMAZING. they were very attentive and kept things running so smoothly and Renee literally has whatever you need in her pocket. My MOH eyelash fell off and she had eyelash glue ready to go. The food, location, ambiance, everything at the Foxhollow was amazing. Would 10/10 recommend as a venue for anything honestly.

There is always the worry of what will go wrong on your wedding day, but Fox Hollow has everything so down to a science that you don't have to worry about a thing! The night was truly perfect. Guests raved about the food, the service, and overall the beauty of the venue all night and have been ever since! We had Samir as our Maitre D and I think he was a huge part of the night going off without a hitch. When we met with him for our final appointment he went through everything down to the last detail and made us feel so at ease- we were confident he would have everything under control and he certainly did! If there were any issues that came up in the night we didn't know about them because he took care of everything, even making sure our glasses weren't empty. We had Rose as our bridal attendant and she was just as incredible. At the end of the night she even wrapped up what was left of our cake and treats from our exit station and brought them over to us at the hotel. Overall, an amazing experience down to the very last detail. I am SO happy that we chose to have our wedding at Fox Hollow, they truly made our day more perfect than we could have ever imagined!

The Fox Hollow was the absolute best choice for our wedding. The venue was gorgeous, the staff was professional and helpful, and our Maitre Di, Arthur helped coordinate an amazing night. Any small hiccup, as all weddings have, were immediately addressed and coordinated. He worked with us throughout the whole evening, coordinating, communicating, arranging and ensuring we were able to have a great time as well. Out of all of the venues on Long Island, I can hands down say that the Fox Hollow was the absolute BEST choice!

It's been just about a month since our wedding, and our family keeps talking about how fabulous everything was - from the delicious food to the service and the grounds! The staff we encountered at the Fox Hollow, from the initial meeting down to the Big Day, has been kind, polite, personable, and professional! My now husband and I started our venue search back in late January 2018, and were initially thinking about a summer 2019 affair, but were open-minded if an opportunity popped up for this year! We have toured a few venues, but what caught our eye with the Fox Hollow were the beautiful grounds, the rustic elegant look the venue has, and the incredibly nice staff! We met with David Taylor - he was very welcoming and had great, positive energy! Our meeting with him was very relaxed and pressure free. He showed us the grounds (even in the winter it's still pretty!), the cocktail spaces, the Winter Garden Pavilion room. After our meeting we were about to visit another venue, but after discussing with my parents on our findings, we decided on the Fox for the upcoming summer (a date was open!) and booked with David right away for a Daytime Sunday wedding! He treated us to a celebratory drink after we finalized the date and put in a deposit, which was really sweet of him! We had less than 5 months to plan our wedding, and David was very helpful to give us a recommended timeline for a daytime wedding, and also give us his recommendations for vendors and who to contact. About 2 months before the Big Day, we met with the event coordinator Jessica Levy. She was such a pleasure to work with – answered all of our questions and helped us to figure out solutions to anything that popped up along the way! She was very responsive to emails whenever I had any more questions. Now the Big Day comes - we were blessed with beautiful sunny weather, not too hot/humid, just perfect for July! The outdoor garden for our ceremony looked gorgeous, and the Winter Garden Pavilion was lit with lots of sunlight, it felt like you were partying in a greenhouse! Our cocktail space was the Volpe room, and it had an elegant wine bar, comforting feel to it! Our Maitre'D was Angie, and my bridal attendant was Noelia. Of course with any wedding, we had a couple of little hiccups, but Angie kept things in order and was phenomenal! She was funny, sweet, organized, and professional! Noelia was really sweet, bringing my husband and I food and drinks from cocktail hour into our bridal suite, and was very attentive to us during the reception. My entire bridal party, and myself, felt very at ease with Angie and Noelia! What I appreciated most is that they were both bilingual Spanish-English speakers, which helped tremendously since my parents and my in-laws don't speak much English. We highly recommend The Fox Hollow for their first class service, their phenomenal food and drinks, their gorgeous grounds, and their amazing staff!! We want to say ¡Muchas Gracias! Absolutely cannot recommend the Fox Hollow highly enough. We held a reception only in the Pavilion on a Saturday afternoon in July, and it could not have been a better day. The maitre d and bridal attendant were very attentive and helpful the whole time, the Pavilion is stunning (most pictures show it at night, but it is just as beautiful during the day!), and of course, the food. Every single item at cocktail hour and dinner was delicious, and if you'd like to give guests variety and quality above \"standard wedding food,\" this is where you should go. Get the ziti. Get everything. Get anything - it was all amazing.

My wedding reception was on July 1st. My husband and I could not be any happier with the hospitality and care that was put forth to make our day the best it could be. A few things went wrong with a vendor and our Maitre D, Dominic, was right on it. All night he was checking in and anything I needed he was right there. He was making sure we ate and drank as much as we could being that it is so hard during your wedding reception. My Bridal Attendant Ana was the sweetest and super organized. I think my bustle was undone a dozen times. Every time it went she was right there to fix it. She made sure my dress was handled with care when walking to grounds for pictures. She was just amazing! Besides the amazing staff at the Fox Hollow that made us feel at home the food was amazing. My guests will not stop talking about how beautiful the Winter Garden Pavilion room was. We opt for a smaller size wedding and it was the perfect size for our guests. The room was beautiful and everything was set up perfectly. I am a perfectionist so when I say it was on point it was! Planning a wedding is so much work. On the way Jessica helped so much which we are so grateful for. In the end we are so happy we picked the Fox Hollow to celebrate the most important day of our lives. Thank you to everyone at the Fox Hollow who helped make it great. A special thank you to Jessica, Dominic and Ana! We have a great memory thanks to you!

My husband & I got married at the Fox Hollow (Winter Garden Pavilion) on May 4th. We are still on cloud 9. Our wedding was amazing. The weather called for rain but it ended up being perfect & we could not have been happier about our outdoor, later in the evening (8pm-- we were told that this is the standard time for a wedding in our specific venue) ceremony. It was beautiful- lush & candlelit, exactly what we wanted. Cocktail hour was great & our reception was fabulous. The food was excellent & plentiful. Both of our families are foodies and my family owns a restaurant, so good food was one of our top priorities.One of the BEST parts of our experience- OUR BRIDAL ATTENDANT, NOELIA. SHE WAS INCREDIBLE. So sweet & helpful in every way. I don't know what I would have done without her. If you can, I whole heartedly recommend requesting her. We are so happy to have had our wedding at the Fox Hollow, but there were some things behind the scenes that we weren't too thrilled about. The experience with our maitre d' was less than stellar. We spent a good 30 minutes on the phone earlier in the week going over the timeline of events for the day. He initially planned to have our father/bride & mother/groom dances AFTER the cake cutting. I explained that I would prefer to do them right after my father's welcome speech, while the night was still young & people were still mellow enough to enjoy a couple of sweet dances with our parents. Keep in mind, our reception didn't start until 9:30 & cake cutting wouldn't be until after midnight- way too late for those dances. On the night of the wedding, the maitre d' completely disregarded this conversation & skipped over to the 2 best men's speeches. When I approached him about it, he said he skipped them because the \"speeches ran too long.\" The best men were not even scheduled to speak until after dinner, so that was irrelevant. He went on to say he had everything from our call written down. When he went to show me his notes, none of it was there. To make things worse, I watched him practically bully our vendors all night long. I know it's his job to keep everything running smoothly, but there is a way to do so with respect & kindness. Some vendors have even mentioned it to me in the days since our wedding. He was also quite rude to our bridal party, all of whom were very respectful & compliant with his demands. Lastly, when we met with him to go over our wedding details (Tues. before our wedding), he was oddly aggressive when discussing gratuity. He kept repeating what the \"average tip\" was, which was about $300 more than what I read to be the average gratuity. I thought it was rude but shrugged it off. Needless to say, I was not happy with him after the wedding. He was tipped generously, but not at the amount that he felt the need to drill into my brain at our first meeting. After the wedding, he ran into my parents & made a point to discuss the \"very bad tip\" he received. WHO DOES THAT? Not sure if I'm even surprised at this point. I cannot get over how rude he is. Frankly, I'm shocked that the Fox Hollow has yet to do anything about it, considering the amazing service we received across the board otherwise. His brash behavior has clearly been an issue in the past, as someone working at the venue specifically told my bridesmaids not to \"let him bully you.\"Minus the maitre d' issue, our day was magical and our guests are still raving about it. My husband & I got married at the Fox Hollow (Winter Garden Pavilion) on May 4th. We are still on cloud 9. Our wedding was amazing. We were in the Garden Terrace room in January and it looked like a winter wonderland. Samir really knew what we had in mind and turned it into a reality - from the color tone of the room, to the favors being placed on the table, to the little extras we added for our guests - everything was spectacular!For weeks after the wedding all of my family and friends said that the wedding was the best they ever attended. There’s a reason everyone knew Fox Hollow when we told people where we were getting married. This team is outstanding. Every room on site is breath taking and requires minimal decoration. You get the most incredible value for your money and they truly take care of everything you need. The operations team - most notably, Mike and Jessica - hold a series of informational workshops for brides and grooms where they discuss what can and can’t be done and leave the floor open for any questions you have about your day. Even listening to other people’s questions was rather helpful and enjoyable. Jessica and Mike think of everything. It’s nice to go to the showcases to meet vendors, but these meetings definitely set Fox Hollow apart; they’re an extremely valuable resource.We were truly humbled by how much hard work Fox Hollow invested in making our day special. Everything was more than perfect. Samir was our maitre’d and he epitomises class, professionalism, kindness, and service. He and his team brought our vision to life through his attention to every word I said in our final meeting.Noelia was our bridal attendant, and she cared for us like we were her own family. She was incredibly sweet and attentive to every detail. When I changed into flats after our posed photos, she noticed my dress was getting in my way on the floor, and took a quick second to safety pin my bustle in a second layer so I wouldn’t trip.The wait staff worked their tails off. Every guest’s request was met in the most timely and courteous fashion. And our guests asked us to pass our compliments to them for how hard they worked.No bride should be stressed when working with this venue. They’re the wedding planners you didn’t know were there for you from the moment you sign on the dotted line and we love them like family.

I’d be here for hours writing about our experience with the Fox Hollow. They seriously know what they’re doing there. The service was excellent. Our maitre d’ Josh, and Bridal Attendant Angie waited on us hand and foot, always making sure we had a drink in our hand and food in our bellies. Angie bustled me quicker than my seamstress did (i had over 25 strings to be tied!) the food is absolutely delicious and I keep saying that I can’t wait for someone else to get married there so I can eat the food again! We got married in the Somerley room and it was absolutely gorgeous. The only con we had at all was in planning anything with the hotel, but I’m not taking a star away from that since it’s run separate from the catering hall. The staff is pleasant but the managers are kind of all over the place and dont seem to know what they’re doing. Aside from that the hotel is stunning as well. You really can’t go wrong with picking the Fox Hollow, and I seriously wish I could do my wedding there all over again!

They gave a heart instead of a snowflake which still looked great and no one knew (a small detail). My local farmer was doing our flowers with my aunt who's a florist and it was confusing when they could drop off and set up. Otherwise. The Fox Hollow was amazing. I have been to a few weddings there over the years and they go beyond a lot of places to please and help the bride and groom.

I had my wedding here in January 2018. For our off season date, the pricing was wonderful for all the amenities we were being provided. Booking was very impressive and it seemed like they had every detail accounted for. However, as it got down to the wire, I felt that there was a bit of a lack of interest on their part as well as the assumption that because \"they do this all the time\" I wouldn't have questions, or that those questions should be answered in a timely manner. There was an incident where I called to ask a question about the menu so that I could have the many choices printed for my guests to review before choosing. I called a few weeks before to ask about a description for the salmon, and was asked \"you know the new menu, right?\" And when I responded no, I was simply told, \"well I definitely told you because I tell everyone about the new menu.\" Long story short a complete switch of the vegetarian option was changed at the printer last minute and an option was added. It just left a bad taste that the coordinator (Jessica, I believe) chose to get defensive and argue back with me rather than just apologizing for the oversight. They take all your decorations the week of and just ask how you like it set up...you can't really get in there the night before or a few hours before to tinker with the fine details. Although I will say, they did a wonderful job setting up all of my centerpieces just as I described I wanted. The second downside of the Fox Hollow, was that the day of there was no flexibility whatsoever. We arrive at the inn about a half hour early before our check in and we're told not one room was ready for us to have early check in (we blocked nearly 15 rooms of immediate family) so we felt completely rushed getting ready. Because I chose to not do a reveal and didn't want to see my husband before the ceremony, so myself and my bridesmaids went off the the bridal sweet a whopping half hour before we \"were allowed on the venue property\" and got some push back about that because the room was not \"set up to their standards\". I honestly just needed a space to get myself and my bridesmaids dressed for photos. Also, for the ceremony my cousin had to run out 30 mins before to Joanne's, because the arch was missing half its decorative flowers and the green foam was showing, and they said they couldn't fix it. Lastly, they were not letting people in past the start time even though I had yet to walk down the aisle. I shooed them inside last minute anyway against the protest of the coordinator. It was extremely evident that they were just concerned with getting my ceremony over as fast as possible, so they could shove a THIRD wedding in the room directly after our ceremony (I was one of three weddings that night) Overall...It was a wonderful venue, great food, everyone had an amazing time., including myself and my husband and my family. It just didn't come without a little unessesary stress. My bridal attendant was WONDERFUL and was so sweet. She always had champagne for me and even held and umbrella over me during our photos outside in the rain. The venue is truely impressive. The one thing I think they're getting away from is catering to wedddings individually. I worry within the next few years this place is going to just turn into another LI wedding factory. Which is sad, because I really think they had something special going on there.

We got married last night and I am still riding the high so I wanted to say some good things;Fox Hollow Winter Garden Room:Our Maitre d was Josh and I cannot say enough great things about him. He was AMAZING. Anything we needed he was right there at all times, but not at all like on top of us. Our Bridal Attendant was Megan and she was also amazing. She was with me the whole night from getting drinks to bustling my dress and even walked us back to the hotel with a cart of all our stuff and extra dinner and desserts for us to take. She helped me get my dress off. It was just absolutely amazing.The Inn at Fox Hollow:The hotel is super reasonably priced, in my opinion, really nice, and they were very accommodating. They even had a bottle of Champagne for us in our hotel room when we got back after the reception. They had a complimentary breakfast for everyone Saturday morning and the food was good. It wasn't just like hard boiled eggs and bagels. They had pre-made omelets, eggs, potatoes, bacon, etc. They also have a complimentary buffet dinner Thursday evenings for guests but we did not take advantage of that. The hotel bar usually closes at 2am but our wedding ended at 130am and they stayed open until 4am for us! Even when the bar closed down they told us we could keep hanging out in the dining area.

We first decided to book with Fox Hollow after going to a wedding there in 2016 in the Garden Terrace. But we absolutely fell in love with the Winter Garden when we went to see the venue. We booked with Taylor, who lied to us about what time we would be able to go on the grounds for pictures which was extremely frustrating but Jessica and Mike remedied everything as best they could after that and were very accommodating. My only recommendation to other brides, don't book with Taylor and if you do get EVERYTHING in writing. Aside from that, the venue is absolutely beautiful, the grounds are well kept and stunning, the food is phenomenal, the hotel next door is so convenient and the staff is friendly and accommodating. Our Maitre'd, Josh, and our Bridal Attendant, Sabrina are AMAZING. Josh made sure all of my personalized decor was laid out right, he checked on me constantly, checked on my family, made sure we had everything we needed and more. Sabrina helped with my dress pretty much all night because of the long train, she waited on my family hand and foot, they LOVED her. We also got the feeling that Josh and Sabrina were genuinely so happy for us and so happy to be there helping us with our day, even though it's their jobs. By the end of the night we felt like friends. I wouldn't change anything about our choice to book with Fox and I would recommend them to any couple looking to have a beautiful wedding.

Hotel:Beautiful rooms, temperature was hard to control. Seemed the front part of the room was cold and the bedroom part of the rooms were very hot. There was frost on the windows, and it was drafty. There were 2 other weddings getting ready so they didn’t have any extra chairs for us to use when getting hair and make up done. So we just improvised and used the desk chairs from our other guests rooms. Staff were friendly and polite. Room was spacious enough for us all to get ready. Some people said their room keys were automatically turned off at 11am before they checked out, causing them to be locked out of their room. While at our wedding, the hotel staff went into our guests rooms and left gift bags in our room; we didn’t provide gift bags, they were from someone else’s wedding. Unfortunately for the other party, since these were put directly in the rooms during my wedding, our guests just quickly packed in the morning and left and didn’t realize until getting home and unpacking their bags. If that would have happened to me and my guests didn’t get the bags I made, I would have been very upset.

We had our wedding at Fox Hollow November 17, 2017 in the Somerley and it was PERFECT! The food was amazing, Samir (Maitre D) and Noelia (bridal attendant) went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed all night, and Fox Hollow itself is just beautiful. We knew Fox Hollow was the place for us as soon as we walked in to see it, and we are so glad we chose it!! We love that they have the restaurant Volpe right on property so we can eat their for our anniversaries at the same place we were married.We do have one issue that was not enough to give less stars because of how great Fox Hollow is, but it did cause a problem for us as well as potentially other brides and grooms. The upstairs bridal suite for the Somerley is great, however there was no lock on the door and no one near the stairs telling guests they could not go up there. One of our guests somehow made his way up there and got sick in the bridal suite bathroom which we were very angered by, as well as another guest that we don’t know well was roaming around the room. My husband and I, along with our close family and bridal party had personal items in that room that anyone could go through since there was no lock or anyone to stop them from going in. We suggest putting a keypad on the door that only the Bride, groom, maitre d, bridal attendant and close family know the code to. Or, to have an attendant by the stairs that tells guests they cannot go upstairs. This was our only issue that night, but it does not take away from how amazing our wedding was.Thank you again to Fox Hollow for catering the biggest day of our life!

Where do I even begin? I cannot thank the Fox Hollow enough for giving us the most magical, memorable and happiest day of our new life together. I can honestly cry just thinking about how amazing they were. Let's start with the food. Unreal. Perfection. One of the many things that our guests continue to rave about. As the Bride & Groom, we were nervous we wouldn't get to eat but what was so amazing was that the staff gave us 2 huge plates from the cocktail hour. They sat us in the Bridal Suite and let us eat alone. A calm and special moment that we were able to have together that I have never heard of any other venue doing. We actually got to enjoy the food and be together for a few minutes before the chaos.The atmosphere. Holy shit. Every corner, every wall, every room is a photo op waiting to happen. Our cocktail hour spilled into the Winter Garden and our reception was in the Garden Terrace. EVEN THE LOBBY IS A PHOTO OP. It is insanely beautiful.Most importantly, let's talk about the staff. Our maitre'd, Josh, and our bridal attendant, Megan are ANGELS SENT DOWN FROM THE HEAVENS. If I get married again, I'm marrying one of them. I told Josh a few nights before that my only request was to always have a drink in my hand. The second I finished a drink or if I put one down, Josh was behind me with a glass of wine and behind my husband with a beer. Megan always had my back, literally. Every step I took was a feat since my gown and train were enormous. If it wasn't for Megan, I would've tripped 20 times. But she was always there. They weren't just attentive with us but they were also attentive with our parents, which we loved. They genuinely cared if everyone was having a good time and if everyone's expectations were exceeded. Josh and Megan gave us a gift that we will be forever thankful for. Because of them, we were care free. Because of them, we had the greatest day and night of our life. Josh & Megan, you are AMAZING and we love you!I could go on and on about how amazing The Fox is. I could probably write a book about it but I'm sure you don't want to read a book right now. The proof is in the pudding, The Scotto's are famous for knowing what they're doing. They have amazing and highly rated establishments all along Long Island. The Fox is no joke, these guys know how to throw a damn good party and you would be stupid not to have them host the most special and memorable day of your life. Oh yeah, and the hotel is NEXT DOOR. No shuttles needed, just walk a few feet and hop right in bed! The Fox Hollow is perfection in every way possible. If I could do it all over again, I would go with The Fox Hollow every time.

It’s been 43 days since our wedding at the Fox Hollow, and we are still receiving calls and texts about how wonderful our wedding reception was. My wife and I have been to plenty of weddings, but we have never encountered a staff that was so courteous, detailed-oriented, and all-around amazing. Beyond their professionalism, the Fox Hollow Staff treats you like family. Now I would be remiss to not name the exact staff that I worked with throughout the year. In late 2016, my then-fiancée and I were searching for a venue for our wedding reception. We looked at over 20 possible venues throughout Long Island, the tri-state area, and upstate New York. To say our patience was growing thin was an understatement, but we were still determined to find the perfect venue to host our special day. In June, we finally found Fox Hollow, and had a great first impression as soon as we walked in. We met with Michael Tinelli, the Director of Operations, and from this first meeting to the day of our wedding, Michael has been simply remarkable. During our initial meeting, Michael gave us a walk thru of the venue, answered all our questions, and broke down the preparation process in great detail. The meeting was very relaxed and pressure-free, something we could not say about most of the appointments we had with other venues. Additionally, we instantly fell in love with the Garden Terrace. By the time we reached our home, we had already come to the decision that Fox Hollow would be the perfect place to host our special day. From Michael’s honesty and openness in the initial meeting, to his regular follow-ups to ensure everything was going smoothly, he helped to make the whole process much easier for us. Jessica Levy was our Event Coordinator. Throughout the year, she was amazing at keeping us on track to reach all of our goals for the wedding. She was very responsive to our questions, extremely knowledgeable, and very accommodating. During our in person meetings, Jessica was very polite. Finally, after a year of preparation, our day finally arrived. Like any wedding, we ran into our share of hiccups during the day, from last minute cancellations and additions, to running behind our schedule. The Fox Hollow team did an amazing job dealing with all of our issues. Samir was our phenomenal maître d’, and was extremely attentive for the entire evening. He coordinated with our DJ and MC perfectly to ensure that the evening ran smoothly, and for any requests that we had, Samir made it happen. Victoria was our incredible bridal attendant. She was very polite, and made sure the bride was always taken care of. My wife loved her. Our guests constantly relayed their compliments of how great the Fox Hollow staff was. For example, my parents told us how great their waiter, Leroy, was. He was very polite and courteous, and even went as far as to translate for certain guests that were not English speaking. Toward the end of the night, my wife and I saw Michael walking around checking on our guests. We were surprised to see him, as we knew that Michael was not scheduled to be in that day. However, Michael took it upon himself to show up and ensure that everything went well. This meant a lot to us, and we truly feel that Michael and the Fox Hollow team treated us like family. There is no doubt in my mind that we will be recommending The Fox Hollow to all of our friends and family. Thank you so much for making our wedding such an incredible, memorable experience.

While doing the search for a wedding venue, my husband and I were looking for a place where our guests would have the best time celebrating our union and that allowed them to stay overnight, if they chose to do so. Fox Hollow stood out from other options because it offered so many more amenities, for less than what the competition asked for. They also had innovative cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres and dinner choices that accommodated many dietary restrictions. It is clearly very well-run, as the event ran so smoothly, despite the many things that could go wrong at a wedding reception. Fox Hollow was fully staffed, the food was delicious and plentiful, the beverages were flowing, and the space was comfortable and aesthetically pleasing, both inside and outside on a hot July day. Our maître d', James Catania, did a fantastic job rolling with lots of personal touches that were important to us to put on the reception, including a pipe band, family toasts, guest performances, and unconventional painted rock centerpieces. He was professional, courteous, and extremely helpful. The rooms at the inn were luxuriously comfortable, and we had a rather satisfying continental breakfast the morning after. We’re so glad we celebrated our wedding reception at Fox Hollow and highly recommend it to anyone looking for high quality services at a very good value.

While doing the search for a wedding venue, my husband and I were looking for a place where our guests would have the best time celebrating our union and that allowed them to stay overnight, if they chose to do so. Fox Hollow stood out from other options because it offered so many more amenities, for less than what the competition asked for. They also had innovative cocktail hour hors d’oeuvres and dinner choices that accommodated many dietary restrictions. It is clearly very well-run, as the event ran so smoothly, despite the many things that could go wrong at a wedding reception. Fox Hollow was fully staffed, the food was delicious and plentiful, the beverages were flowing, and the space was comfortable and aesthetically pleasing, both inside and outside on a hot July day. I cannot say enough good things about The Fox Hollow. I had my wedding in the Garden Terrace on July 29th 2017. Our maitre d Josh made sure that everything ran smoothly. He and the team were able to transform our beautiful ceremony set up into our reception in the same room and everything looked flawless. My bridal attendant Claudia was amazing! She made sure my husband and I were happy the whole time. She brought us food from the cocktail hour into the bridal suite so we could have some time alone before we met with our guests. She even went to my room at the inn to retrieve my flats and other things I forgot to bring with me to the Garden Terrace. Our day was absolutely perfect and I am so thankful! I would highly recommend the Fox Hollow because of the beautiful grounds and reception venues, but more importantly because of the amazing staff.

This is almost word for word, the email we already sent the folks at the Fox Hollow. If we could afford it, we'd get married there EVERY YEAR! Taylor David was very professional and so easy to work with from beginning to end and always there if we ( I, Bride #1, the question girl!) had any questions. My Fiancee, Bride # 2, was much more laid back throughout this whole ordeal. Wording with Jessica, was a breeze; she made it very easy to navigate through all those menus and went PREPARED! We did our homework beforehand like we wore told! :) As an asthma sufferer, I had requested my guests to help make it a Fragrance Free wedding. Jessica also alerted the staff and THAT was a big help! That was awesome. And what can we say about Donna & Victoria? Donna was our Maitre D'. We don’t know how she did it, but if anything went wrong at the wedding, we certainly didn’t know about it!!! Everyone complimented us on the service, the staff, etc. She was there whenever we needed anything, all we did was BLINK. And Victoria, my Bridal Attendant, what a peach! She was so attentive, if she wasn’t on my left, she was on my right! So adorable. My favorite little trick of hers…she tucked a tissue in my bouquet just before I went down the aisle because she saw I was in jeopardy of breaking down. LOVE HER! ❤ The FOOD (of course!) was PHENOMENAL!!! We got high marks from everyone, family and friends alike. They all said it was the BEST wedding they'd been to in YEARS!!!! I could go on and on. AGAIN, If we could afford it, we’d do this every year! If you had TEN stars, they'd get TEN from us!

I had my reception in the Somerley June 2nd and it was beyond perfect! From start to finish Fox Hollow went above and beyond to make sure everything involved in planning to executing the wedding went smoothly. From the time we met with them to book to 1.5 years later at the wedding they were so helpful every step of the way.The day of the wedding my bridal attendant and maitre d were both AWESOME. They couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. Everything was absolutely beautiful and perfect and exactly what I dreamed of. The food was amazing and people literally raved about it. Much much better than your typical wedding food, this food was outstanding. The party went so smoothly, they really know how to put on an event. If I could get married again and again I'd pick Fox Hollow every single time!! Thank you for providing my husband and I with a wedding reception beyond our wildest dreams!!!

We got married on 5/12/17 in the Winter Garden Room at the Fox Hollow and had such a beautiful day. The Winter Garden room was beautiful and the recently renovated cocktail hour space was modern and spacious. We booked after our 1st visit because we felt the Fox Hollow has perfected weddings and so many things would be taken care of for us there. Our Maitre’d was Samir and bridal attendant was Renee. They were both wonderful and attentive. The staff and Samir did an amazing job setting up our decorations-everything looked exactly the way we wanted. Renee was always standing by with food/water, to hold my dress and bouquet! The bartenders and wait staff were great and got us whatever we needed (including my Husband’s gin & tonics already being made before he even got to the bar)! Everyone raved about the food (and literally did not stop eating). We had such a great night and are so glad we chose the Fox Hollow for our wedding! I just have a few small criticisms; we were told the night of our wedding there was only 1 other event (wedding in the Somerley, which we didn’t see or hear) but there ended up being a party in the Garden Terrace room next to us. It was a kid’s party so at times while we were in the halls/taking pictures or using the bathroom, it was awkward to have a group of tween girls watching us. This obviously was a very small detail and in no way affected our night, but if you’re a couple who values being the only event that day, this is something to consider. The Fox Hollow staff is very good at keeping things on schedule for the night but at a few times I did feel a bit rushed to be in a certain place and I felt that I needed a moment to fix my hair/makeup/use the bathroom/take a breath, etc. so just advocate that you need some time if you do. Otherwise, the comped room at the Inn next door was wonderful and convenient. The grounds were gorgeous for pictures and they really make sure you have a carefree event. The Fox Hollow truly did a beautiful job and I would highly recommend them!

Besides the mass miscommunication... they know how to throw a party and test you like royalty on the day of... before not so much... the food was awesome, drinks were plenty, look and feel was exactly what we wanted

The Fox Hollow is a beautiful venue. Everyone we dealt with was extremely friendly and professional. As you'd expect with any catering hall, they talk a big game. Unlike other halls, Fox Hollow delivers every bit of what they promise. Each step of the way, things were made easy for us. On the day of our wedding, when there were a few (relatively minor) things that weren't exactly as they were supposed to be, they were immediately corrected, and our whole day went off without a hitch. Each room we were in (a different one for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception) was more beautiful then the last.The food was delicious. Normally one doesn't expect to eat much at their own wedding, and our experience wasn't much different, but not for lack of trying on Fox Hollow's part. Our bridal suite was fully stocked with everything being served during the cocktail hour (and some things that weren't!), and they made sure we left with four full meals to enjoy the next day. Our guests raved about the abundance and quality of the food and service. Josh, our maitre d' and Kay, our bridal attendant, were with us and seeing to our every need throughout the day. They were rock stars. Everything ran so smoothly, we were really just able to enjoy the day and soak up every moment. What more could you want from your wedding venue?Oh yeah, it was also an amazing value - everything is included (top shelf open bar is standard) for a very reasonable rate. Now we're just hoping to be invited to a wedding there so we can go back!
