I can not say enough about Erika. Her official title is Catering Sales Manager but that doesn't even begin to describe who she is and what she did to ensure our wedding ran seamlessly. She was our event planner, our day of coordinator, my personal creative genius, my brain for much of this planning. She did it all.We booked almost 18 months out (for an Oct 7th, 2023 wedding) and from day one Erika was communicative (like, daily lol), efficient, a consummate professional and just an absolute DREAM to work with. She went above and beyond for us and I will forever be grateful for all the work she put into this past weekend. I would recommend Foxwoods as a venue simply to work with Erika!I'd also like to shoutout Joslyn! She was Erika's counterpart on the hotel side as the Convention Services Manager. She too went above and beyond for us and our guests. So many changes to our block (with guest names, etc) and she just made it happen. Also, the staff who worked our wedding (and helped set it up - ie the stage, tables, etc) were UNBELIEVABLE! We got so many compliments from our guests about the bartenders and wait staff. Everyone was just at 100% and we truly appreciate everything! Reviewed on 09-10-2023

We only had our room block here and got married across the street at Lake of Isles, thank God. Foxwoods was atrocious. From not letting us have late checkouts from the hospitality suite (which we already had in our contract) to not having any luggage/bag help the morning we left everything got worse and worse. Pam F(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-06-2022 My husband and I got married on June 4, 2022 at a winery near Foxwoods. We chose Foxwoods due to location and convenience. We really wanted to like Foxwoods, but we had so many issues along the way.We booked a room block of 25 rooms one year out, and every few months I'd ask them to add more rooms, but they won't do it unless the block is completely full. So of course, 3 weeks out we run out of rooms and some people still haven't booked. We were able to get more rooms added but only at a higher rate. Additionally, after the weekend my mom noticed she was overcharged for her room. Turns out, they charged ALL of our guests the higher rate, even the ones who booked early. My husband called and they agreed to issue everyone a credit on their statement. We were really disappointed that this mistake was left up to our guests to catch.Additionally, we requested early check in on Friday and late check out on Sunday in order to accommodate timing of our rehearsal dinner and brunch. We asked many times, and were told that this was impossible to guarantee. We called Foxwoods on Friday morning and they said they would give us early check in, but we had to pay $50 for late check out on Sunday. We were spending thousands of dollars there over the weekend and brought in over 60 guests, why stress us out and not just give us these requests as VIPs?Also…beware of all of the COVID closures in Fox Tower. We wanted to get bagels and coffee for the room in the morning as the bridesmaids were getting ready, but Einstein bagels is closed (as of June 2022). When I asked room service to deliver 8 coffees to the room (FYI they can only deliver cups and not a pot of coffee to the Fox Tower), I was told it would be $80!!!! $10 a coffee?! Plus, with nowhere to get bagels in the morning (sorry but I'm not paying $20 a person for room service omelets), we had to bring all of the breakfast food in on Friday, and they wouldn't even bring us a second fridge. Luckily my husband and my dad were available to run to Juniors and bring us $3 coffees, but I couldn't believe the lack of room service in Fox Tower.Transportation is also no longer provided by Foxwoods, so we had to go to a third party limo company. That being said, our suite was nice and large and it was a great place to get ready with my bridesmaids. The Sunday brunch was also delicious, the room was great, and it went seamlessly. Although, we wanted to offer our guests cash bar, but were told it would cost $2K just to bring a bartender in. Luckily everyone was too hungover to drink! And finally, the after party at Centrale was AMAZING. Sebastian was so great and helpful. He hooked us up with a great section for no cost and suggested ordering food, so we brought in 10-15 pizzas which was key to keep the party going at 11pm. Honestly, the after party made everything worth it. While most people have their after party at Shrine (the club in Fox Tower), we wanted a more chill vibe and wanted people to be able to gamble and then come back. Centrale is right in the middle of the casino floor, but still plays music and we were able to get food. I would definitely recommend having an after party there - but reserve a section ahead of time. They say there's a 2 drink minimum per guest, but it wasn't enforced. Reviewed on 03-08-2022
Nazly Bokhari(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-10-2021 We used them for our wedding hotel room block. The rooms were gorgeous and they worked with us with the pricing and organizing everything with the shuttle. The only downside was that there was some sort of miscommunication. Our wedding was on a Sunday. We asked them for recommendations for places to do an \"After party\" and if we would need reservations. After speaking with the concierge, we were told about a place we were going to use and were told we didn't need a reservation... only issue? It closed at 10PM on a Sunday. I would have expected better communication on that piece... EVERYTHING in the casino closed early. There were no restaurants open or places to go to. So it kind of ruined the vibe of the whole experience. Reviewed on 01-08-2022
Scott McDaniel(groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-10-2019 Spectacular. Incredible. Outstanding. Mind-blowing. Absolutely gorgeous. These are some of the words our guests used to describe our wedding at Foxwoods. Foxwoods was the 1st location we visited, and after meeting Susan Evarts we knew right away we wanted our wedding in her hands. It was the best decision we have ever made. Susan Evarts is a wedding planning machine. Shes organized, on top of every little detail, available to you 24/7, and to top it off, shes the nicest person we have ever met. Susan takes the stress of wedding planning completely off your shoulders and makes the entire process FUN. If someone told me Sue could walk on water, I would believe it. Having your wedding at Foxwoods gives your guests the weekend of a lifetime. Unlimited things to do, for all ages, and all inside one building. The ceremony is held outside on the pavilion which is absolutely gorgeous, and during the Fall, the colors will blow you away. October 19 was our wedding, the weather was perfect, and the trees in the background were orange and red. Could not ask for a better setting. The reception gives you the option of choosing between 3 incredible ball rooms. We went with The Grand Ball Room and our guests have not stopped talking about how gorgeous it was. OPEN BAR is extremely cheap and the first hour is FREE! The best part of the reception was the mac & cheese martini bar, and it is as incredible as it sounds!!! Everyone went crazy over it. My wife and I had our own waitress who made sure we were taken care of the ENTIRE TIME. During pictures, cocktail hour, and even the reception, she was always there for us. This was amazing because we were way to busy the entire time to get food and drinks on our own. If you think all of that is amazing, then buckle up cause there's more! The hotel rooms for all of your guests get hugeeee discounted rates!!! The hotel rooms are handled by Tracy Shaw who is literally a SAINT and the 2nd nicest person we have ever met (Susan Evarts is #1). If you live within a few hours of Foxwoods, CHOOSE FOXWOODS! The entire year leading up to the wedding we only had to drive up two times, once to choose our ball room and sign paperwork and then once to do the taste test. Everything else can be done through phone or email. Dont let distance scare you away, Foxwoods has everything you could possibly imagine. Susan Evarts takes care of EVERYTHING and makes sure you have nothing to worry about. The cherry on top was the prices. Open bar, cake, food, venue for reception and ceremony, everything amounted to HALF of what we would have payed if we had our wedding anywhere else. I recommend Foxwoods for everyone's wedding, you will save a lot of money, have the time of your life, host the wedding of a century, and make a friend for life with Susan. Susan Evarts brought our hopes and dreams to life and gave us the wedding of a lifetime. If you choose Susan and Foxwoods then she will do the same for you. Reviewed on 23-10-2019

Lauren Thomasian(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 27-04-2019 Everything about Foxwoods and having your wedding at Foxwoods is absolutely amazing!! When we first got engaged we started thinking about where we would want our wedding. A few ideas came to mind but then we got to thinking that we don’t want just a basic ordinary traditional wedding, we want something extremely fun and a good time for the guests. Foxwoods came to mind and when we researched a little more we found that they do hold weddings there, I was beyond excited to get the planning going! Foxwoods was a perfect choice for us and definitely went with our personalities. We wanted a spot where our guests could make a weekend out of it for a little vaca if they wanted, but close enough to drive to if they choose. (From central MA). Sue Evarts was our go to lady from the very beginning and we really admire what she does. Such a hard worker with so much patience and professionalism! She took all the stress away from us with all the help she provided. We went into Foxwoods to read over the contract and put down a deposit, and went over any questions that we had. For a year in a halfengagement of ours, Sue was in touch the entire time with grace. Her communication skills are great whether it be writing an email, talking on the phone, or leaving a voicemail, she always got back to us with all the answers in detail which was wonderful. During the planning process Sue also referred people to us as well. Once she got to know us she said she has the perfect officiant to perform our ceremony for us that would be perfect. She was so right and we did book that officiant soon after that referral and meeting with him. She knows the ins and outs of Foxwoods and provided us with so much knowledge and advice for our wedding weekend plans. We had our rehearsal at High Rollers in the casino and she was in touch with them as she knew we booked it there. She helped us get in touch with Joanna Anastasiou, and Ashley Medeiros who were so great with helping us with the room blocks for our guests, and always kept us updated on how things were going. She also got in touch with all of our other vendors to plan the night to make sure it went perfect and to make it go smooth for us. I got so many compliments about how great Sue and her team were and how organized she is. During our cake testing at Foxwoods we met with not only Sue but Jordan too and I wanted to make sure I recognize Jordan also because she went above and beyond on our wedding night with class and always a smile on our face and hard work. Our guests were very impressed with all of the Foxwoods staff and banquet staff. They are top notch professional people who are very talented at creating the best customer service experience for all! Foxwoods was definitely a great fit for me and my now husband. We couldn’t be happier with our decision and we really think you should consider booking here too! One of the most important things to us was not only getting married to each other, but making sure everyone was enjoying themselves and having a good time. I’m pretty sure anyone that goes to Foxwoods loves it and it definitely exceeded our expectations. It was so nice to see everyone living in the moment and having fun all weekend! If you choose to have a wedding at Foxwoods, of course that’s amazing. But just as amazing for all your loved ones to enjoy as well. Literally everything you could imagine under one roof, what more could you want?!I promise you won’t regret having your wedding here, beyond incredible experience!-Lauren & Jeff Reviewed on 07-05-2019

Rachael Cunningham(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-04-2018 There are no words to describe how much fun our wedding was at Foxwoods!! Sue Evarts was such an integral part of the planning process and became more than just our \"chaos coordinator\" ;) She was so receptive to all of my questions/inquires and made sure that I never once felt like a bother to her. She made the night run without a hitch and for that we are forever grateful! We also can't say enough things about the server who was assigned to us for the night. Although her name escapes me at the moment, I can assure you she was absolutely wonderful! The bridal suite that was given to us for the whole bridal party to get ready in was absolutely BREATHTAKING!!! I never expected such a big area just for me and my girls! It was also just a few doors down from my personal room so it made retrieving things that we forgot to bring to the suite so much easier. The food was excellent and we had such a phenomenal time at the tasting prior to the wedding! The cake was exactly as I pictured it and I never even had to meet with the baker to get my ideas across. Sue was able to handle this (among everything else!) for me and made the whole experience effortless. We loved that we could have the rehearsal dinner (at the Hard Rock), party, after party, and accommodations all in on spot! There is such a quality group of people working at Foxwoods who surpassed all of our expectations... I wish that more people knew to consider them as a wedding venue!! Reviewed on 01-08-2018
Christopher DiLeo(groom)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 19-05-2018 My Wife and I looked at many options when booking a venue for our wedding. We knew we wanted some sort of destination since we didn't want to get married anywhere near our home just north of Boston. When we compared pricing, amenities, and accommodations for our guests as well as entertainment for everyone that would be joining us for the entire weekend there was no place that compared and what really set Foxwoods apart from the rest was their amazing staff lead to Sue Evarts. Sue and her team were great to work with they kept in constant contact with us from letting us know each week what our guests accommodation counts were and how many rooms we had left for each night to just seeing if there was anything they could do to help us out. If we had any guests who needed special accommodations we were able to get them in contact with Tracy Shaw who is the events catering manager and she was able to handle each of their unique situations as well as make sure our room block was always available and the right amount of king/queens beds were able to be requested by our guests. When working with Sue between visits down to the casino to chose the right ballroom/area for the reception and the ceremony to email and telephone communication she made everything so easy for my Wife and I. My wife and I work Tuesday-Saturday and live about 2 hours away and even though Sue is off on Mondays she changed her schedule multiple times to work with us and be with us in person for sit-downs, meetings, and the tasting. Even though the weather did not work out for us to have our wedding outside the staff had an indoor spot set up and ready to go for our ceremony and it looked great. The food and the cake were great. Hats off to the chef and the entire kitchen and service staff that took care of all of that! The cake was the perfect color to match our wedding colors and even though the cake design we picked out wasn't able to be done in the turtle cheesecake like we had hoped the chef spoke with us and cake up with a cake that would work for the design that had all the same flavors and it was awesome. The staff was very organized and got the tables set up with the centerpieces and the remembrance table for family who is no longer with us exactly how we pictured it and we thank you for that. The Celebrity Ballroom really looked great! Getting back to organization when we arrived the bellhops were able to take all of our stuff for the reception and get it set up out back and the Sue walked with us so she could see what we brought down and made sure she could easily show her staff where it all was for when they needed it. When we were packing everything up to come home and we finally got home we noticed our cake top wasn't with our stuff so we could eat it down the road either for our 1 month or 1 years celebration and when we reached out to Sue to let her know she was able to let us know that we did not need to worry and that she was going to see to it that we were taken care of. She had them remake out top and got it to us so we would be able to enjoy it for our celebration. All I can say to Sue, her staff, and everyone at Foxwoods that played a role in our big day, weekend, and year leading up to it is thank you for helping to make this the best time every for Steph and I. We both hope that we get to come down and enjoy this venue as guests some day and anyone looking for a venue should make Foxwoods and Sue their #1 choice!Thank you!Chris and Steph DiLeo Reviewed on 09-06-2018

As for the venue changes, I have had invitations printed since December. The first change was as I was getting invitations printed. Mind you, all contracts were signed and the coordinator at this time confirmed over the phone that this was the room that I was receiving. The second change in venue is today, February 5th, five days before the actual reception. \r\rFor someone trying to plan a wedding, I highly recommend that you stay away from Foxwoods. I had three 'live stations' where a chef was cooking and serving up each plate. Here are the stations I created: 1.Mini Sliders (hamburger, veggie burger, chicken patty) with all the hot and cold condiments. 2.Mac and Cheese Martini Bar (mac and cheese mixed with either crab/lobster or mixed roasted veggies- served in a martini glass) 3.Kabobs (beef, chicken and shrimp) served with jasmine rice.
