Amazing venue! We were so happy with our choice to use the Gala barn for our ceremony and reception. The venue was so beautiful. Boone and Tyler were soo helpful throughout the process, contact was always prompt and Boone helped us know exactly what we needed leading up to the wedding (bar permits, insurance, etc.) The website with previous vendors was also super helpful. I cannot thank Tyler enough for helping pull décor together the day of and helping with organization!

We just had our daughter's wedding at the Gala Barn and it was fantastic!!! The whole experience was first-class from start to finish. Boone and his team could not have been more gracious hosts. The whole property is so well thought out and the attention to detail is excellent. This venue deserves nothing but 5-Stars. Whoever the guest was that gave it a 1-Star rating in 2018 because of uncontrollable weather, should take it down. They now have a backup generator and no one could be more accommodating than the owner was. This barn is first-class all the way and it has been restored with originals materials. The pics don't do it justice, I recommend you visit in person, I think you will fall in love just like we did!

If you are wanting a place to rent for a special occasion you cannot go wrong with this place. I was so impressed with how this owner went out of their way to make sure that things went great and to make sure you were happy. Excellent!!!!!

We loved this venue and the owners!!! We had to rebook our entire wedding a month before the big day because of Covid, and the Finkbiners were ready and excited to help us out with everything we needed. We are so appreciative of all of their help and kindness leading up to and including our wedding day. Venue is adorable. Highly recommend this beautiful place!

We absolutely loved the Gala Barn! They accommodated us so well, and even let us set up a day early to fit our needs. It is an absolutely beautiful barn that will fit any rustic taste. Boone and Tanya are great people to work with!

This venue is the perfect spot for a wedding. The Finkbiners were a dream to work with. They were always willing to answer any questions we had. They even let us come over to plan out decorations/measure everything more than once, and their recommendations for how to set everything up was so helpful. It’s also super affordable which was an added bonus. We loved everything about this venue and highly recommend it!

The Finkbiners were amazing to work with. They made us feel welcome and were flexible to our needs. They went above and beyond to help us and let us visit the venue multiple times before the weekend of the wedding. Would highly recommend working with them!

We just went to a wedding there yesterday. Strong winds made the barn lose power. It was very cold. Because the power went out— No heat, no working toilets, no lights, no running water. We feel that a business like this should have back-up generators in case of a situation like this! We felt so bad for the bride and groom. They should get a full refund!

Boone Finkbiner (Owner) Finkbiner Gala Barn was created by its owners Boone and Tanya (Quirk) Finkbiner. Upon purchasing the 16 acre property just three miles south of Hillsboro, IN in 2009, the Finkbiners had the dream of saving, utilizing, and sharing the nostalgic 1800's barn that came with it. After five years of dreaming and welcoming their first son, Harvey, Boone and Tanya decided it was time to take action to make that dream a reality.Tanya is a lifetime resident of the area while Boone comes from a similar community of Sullivan, IN.
