Garden Grove Event Center is a wedding venue located in Carbondale, IL. This one-stop-shop is an elegant and all-inclusive property that caters to couples throughout Southern Illinois. The experienced staff have hosted over 1000 weddings, and bring astute attention to detail, friendliness, and professionalism to their work. They will help you plan every step of the celebration and will fully customize your special day to exceed your expectations. Whatever your vision, this team is dedicated to ensuring that the final product is a magical experience. Garden Grove Event Center offers three locations for you to tailor to your wishes, all of which come with separate ceremony sites and reception halls. The Courtyard holds up to 450 guests and includes a patio where you will say your vows in front of a brick wall and waterfall. This deck is characterized by its cedar beams and is draped with flowing white fabric and flowering vines. Inside, a large banquet hall with hardwood floors, chandeliers, and custom LED lights sets the stage for your reception dinner and dancing. The Loft & Terrace location is best suited for more intimate nuptials between 50 and 150 and features an atmospheric outdoor area and indoor hall. The Wedding and Event Garden holds up to 180 guests and boasts natural greenery, a pond, a pergola, and a fountain. An elegant reception area is also attached to this space, where glittering chandeliers and a wood bar add to the warm and inviting ambiance. All three locations come with two get-ready suites equipped with vanities, couches, dressing rooms, TVs, and stylish accents. When you rent with Garden Grove Event Center you will receive tables and chairs, décor, five hours of event time, and a dedicated wedding coordinator. This manager will meet with you prior to the wedding to discuss your linens, color scheme, and bar and food options. The week of you will have access to the space to run through a one-day rehearsal. On the big day, you can begin setting up starting at 11 am. Full-service on-site catering is provided by Head Chef Carli Phillips, who will work with you to design a mouth-watering and memorable menu. The venue’s staff will act as bartenders, servers, and helpers throughout the day to guarantee that the most romantic day of your life is perfect.

Cannot say enough about how great this venue is! It is beautiful, the staff is amazing and so well coordinated, and the food is FAB! They worked out all the details for our wedding which made it stress FREE for us! That was so huge for my husband and I. Definitely check out this spot.. it's right in the middle of town, BUT it sets back off the road so it feels secluded and quaint! Can't thank you guys enough for everything. You truly made our day feel PERFECT! And we received so many compliments on how beautiful the venue was! GO check it out!

The Wedding Garden is absolutely stunning. Melissa Ray was my coordinator and she did a excellent job. I still get compliments on our wedding. The indoor/outdoor venue is amazing.

The wedding garden and loft event space are two great options for couples getting married in southern Illinois. The staff was all very helpful and nice, and they all went out of their way to male our big day great! They have some gorgeous outdoor sites for a ceremony and are currently working on another one.

Jacob Wilson (Events Director) Hello there, my name is Jacob and I would love to work with you designing your dream wedding day! I first started with Garden Grove as an Event Staff and quickly worked my way up to Director. I was given the chance to start assisting with set-up and asked to decorate an arch for a wedding. Everyone loved my decorations and as the weeks went by I started decorating head tables, centerpieces, and full weddings! After some time, I was asked to step up as Director. I loved every second of the new position and understand each element of running a wedding as I’ve personally worked though each stage!
