Garment Factory Events is a historic venue located in downtown Franklin, IN. Garment Factory Events is a 30,000-square-foot facility with a rich history dating back to the early 1920s. After a complete restoration, finished in May of 2018, our facility is equipped with every modern convenience to ensure your wedding ceremony and reception is a momentous and comfortable experience. The updated design kept the original exposed brickwork, timber framing, and replica industrial-styled windows paired with new modern finishes. The mixture of old and new design provides the perfect backdrop to any décor. Our full-service venue provides in-house catering and extensive bar packages with experienced servers and event professionals to ensure you have a seamless event. Today, the sewing machines are gone, but the charm of the factory remains. Our Wedding Packages provide the use of the entire East side of the facility, which includes two ballrooms, a cocktail lounge, and separate bridal suites. We encourage our clients to customize their guest experience by choosing locations for their ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, all in one convenient location. Our Spaces: The Lounge is a perfect space to host a cocktail hour before dinner, furnished with couches, barrel chairs, and a custom full-service bar. Our downstairs Ballroom, Province Room, creates a beautiful ceremony space or a reception for up to 200 guests. The upstairs ballroom, Franklin Room, can accommodate 450+ guests for dinner with custom reception options. Also included is the use of the Bridal Suites. Two private rooms are connected with a common space between, offering plenty of room for hair & makeup, dressing, and storage. I can't even begin to express how much we loved the Garmet Factory as our wedding venue! The industrial look gave our pictures an amazing, trendy vibe that we are still obsessed with. The food was out of this world. Our guests are still raving about it to this day. The staff was super helpful and nice, making us feel so special on our big day. Plus, we had plenty of room for storing things and getting ready, which was a huge relief having everything in one place. The Garmet Factory had a full bar on the lower level and two additional bars set up upstairs, so our guests never had to wait for a drink. And with two food lines, the lines were a breeze, even with 350 guests! The fact that linens were included and the overall price was so reasonable made it even better. All in all, we couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue. The Garmet Factory truly exceeded our expectations and made our special day one we will never forget. If you are looking for a place that combines an industrial look with amazing food, friendly staff and great value, look no further than the Garmet Factory! Highly recommend!

Garment Factory Events was a great partner to work with, even while I was a state away. They had everything in hand on our big day, leaving me worry free. The venue was beautiful and the service impeccable. Couldn't recommend more!

The Garment Factory was a dream to work with. One of my favorite things about them was having food and bar packages come straight from them in house — this eliminated the stressful search of finding more vendors & my guests still rave about the reception dinner food to this day. The venue was absolutely stunning, the area is so charming, and the staff was so flexible in helping us make our wedding day beautiful and stress free!

The Garment Factory truly helped us create our dream wedding reception. The venue is gorgeous, the food is great, and the staff is beyond thoughtful. They were so helpful from the very beginning & helped our vision come to life. I can’t recommend them enough.

I couldn't say enough good things about the Garment Factory staff and how beautiful the venue is! Having all the events in one building was definitely a plus! Bri and Avery were great to work with and answered all my emails! There were high praises from guests about the food and venue! I couldn't imagine our wedding day at any other venue!

I can’t say enough good things about The Garment Factory!! I don’t think I could have picked a better venue. First off you get so much bang for you buck. The amenities they include already put them as a better choice than most venues. Also the fact that they do food and bar in house is amazing. I’ve received sooooo many compliments on how our dinner was the best wedding dinner people had ever had. Also the staff literally bent over backwards to accommodate every request we had. We had the best wedding and The Garment Factory was the best choice we could have made for the venue!!

My husband and I were able to have our dream wedding with the help of the Garment Factory staff. The venue coordinator was helpful in answering all questions and accommodating all of our requests. The food was the best wedding food we have ever had and our guests said the same! We loved the amount of space for our 200 guest wedding. There was plenty of room for dancing upstairs. The pictures in downtown Franklin were a dream! They also had a great space for the bride and groom suites.

This venue was absolutely perfect! My husband and I were to get married here June 2020. We postponed to June 2021 and working with Julia was seamless in transitioning the date. We originally wanted to get married in Downtown Indy, but soon realized the pricing was astronomical. Franklin, IN may have seemed like an odd place to get married, but let me tell you - this venue makes it worth the drive! From the staff, food, and the space - everything is amazing. The space of the venue really sold it for us - 3 separate rooms for ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Not to mention, this venue has the BEST beer and wine selection I have ever seen at a wedding. Would 100% recommend this venue to anyone in the central Indy area! Thank you Garment Factory team for our dream wedding!

Garment Factory Events is a great venue and had everything we were looking for - the whole space to ourselves, separate spaces for ceremony/cocktail hour/reception, bridal and groom suites, really good catering on site, lots of bar options, and lots of good indoor photo opportunities when it happened to rain on our wedding day. We worked mostly with Julia, who was our coordinator at Garment Factory. She was super helpful and patient with all of our questions as we tried to plan a wedding during the COVID-19 pandemic. I can't rave enough about the food - it was so, so good, and we got lots of compliments about it from our guests. If you're looking for a cool space with some history that also has good service and fantastic food, this is the spot for you!

Garment Factory Events was truly the most wonderful venue for our wedding. They were fantastic when dealing with the postponement of our original date due to COVID 19. The staff was such a huge help from the beginning of wedding planning all the way through our wedding night! My parents said that this was by far the best venue and staff out of my 5 siblings' weddings. Julia was such a great resource and made everything so easy for us. I will forever recommend this venue to engaged couples!

Garment Factory Events is an amazing venue. We held our ceremony and reception there during the COVID-19 Pandemic on July 4, 2020. Julia and Sara were our two coordinators provided by the venue. They were extremely helpful and nice. Once we knew the restrictions and guidelines for our wedding date, Julia kept us up-to-date and offered accommodations for the on-going changes. Our wedding date went as smooth as could be expected on a stressful day. No major hiccups and they were quick to take care of any thing that came up. I can't thank them enough!

I loved the process (and venue) so much that I wanted to be here everyday to help provide couples with the best experience on their wedding day.About me!I enjoy running, hiking, and walking the streets of Franklin with my husband, Nick, and dog, Jagger.
