I was recently part of planning an event that was host at Gather on 89 and I am blown away by this venue. It’s so beautiful and doesn’t even require much decor wise to make the space breathtaking. The owners are all so great to work with. Not only do they offer the amazing event space but they also have Swirl adjacent for a desert add on for your event as well as rooms available for rent. They are located above for either guest from out of town staying for your event or to get ready it would be the perfect set up for a bride and her party to get hair and makeup done ect. The lighting is amazing and it makes taking beautiful photos easy! We are so grateful to have such a beautiful space to host many events in!

It is such a beautiful venue with plenty of space. The prep kitchen was very convenient since my family prepared all of the food for our wedding. Pictures inside the venue turned out beautiful with the lights and the black barn doors. It was a perfect place for us to get married and a bonus that it was in my hometown! I was so excited when I found out about this venue. The price point is very good for the quality and the space. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable. They answered any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone!

Our time spent within the “Gather” space was incredible! This beautiful venue surpassed all of our expectations! With a modern, industrial vibe that will stand on its own, it will be sure and accommodate your own personal style! We love the staff at Star of 89 and sincerely look forward to making more memories there!

We had two of our children celebrate their special day at the Gather within 3 months of each other. Both receptions were perfect! The use of the venue includes chairs, tables, a kitchen, and a sound system. The owners are GREAT to work with!

Gather on 89 is impeccable, warm and ever so versatile! We saw the staff there change from a dance hall for our Family reunion to a wedding venue and it was stunning! They worked with us on pricing to include frozen yogurt and that was a big hit since Swirl is connected to the event center. The prime location in downtown Afton is perfect for any event! We loved having our family reunion here! The owners are responsive, helpful and delightful.

This space is absolutely stunning, pictures just can't give it enough credit. The views from the windows, are moutain settings- we were lucky enough to see all the colorful trees changing colors for the fall.

Amazing space. They were extremely helpful, accommodating, and friendly. It is such a beautiful and modern space that is extremely easy to style anyway.

Chad & Bethany Packard (Owner) Hi there! We are Chad & Bethany Packard, one of three cousin couples that purchased the old, and we mean old, Ford building in downtown Afton, WY, and created four exciting businesses within it; Gather on 89 is one of those. Passionate about family and gathering for all the fun occasions that families enjoy together led us to open \"Gather\". After selling a business in Dallas, TX, we chose to open a new chapter in our lives by moving to the beautiful Star Valley area of wild Wyoming. We are parents of six children and 22 grandchildren, who love to hike, ski, have parties, and travel.
