We got married on 12-09-23 and we couldn’t been happier with the help from Trisha. She has helped us along the way with all the planning and prepping. She helped us in all directions with questions or any concerns. We felt so comfortable and at ease through our whole planning journey. The service, the food, and all the extras were fantastic & the serving staff the night of was great & so polite. I would highly recommend this venue & staff! My husband and I got married 9/23/23 at Georgios and I couldn’t recommend them enough! Everyone was so helpful throughout the entire process, specially Tricia. She was extremely helpful with the 100’s of emails I sent asking questions. The day of the wedding was perfect. From the outdoor ceremony, the reception space, the food was incredible and my guests had the time of their lives and so did we. Tricia was our banquet manager that night and she checked up on us to make sure everything was going smoothly and made sure we were taken care of. I’m glad we chose Georgios & will continue to recommend them!

My wife and I had our reception at this venue for our wedding. Everything was AMAZING. The food was excellent. The banquet hall looked great. All of the staff was extremely helpful and outstanding at their job. From top to bottom, the banquet staff to the bar tender were pleasures to work with. In the months planning the wedding, the staff was very quick to help us and make sure we had the day we wanted. The day of the event, our guest actually told me how great the service was. That has never happened to me before. Highly recommend to anyone! Cannot go wrong.

Georgios was great! Everyone raved about the food. The hotel was awesome and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this venue the girls in the sales office always answered any of my emails in a timely manner and had an out of office automated response.

Got married at Georgios this past weekend 9/3/23 and I couldn’t recommend them enough. The girls in the office are so amazing to work with and so easy and quick with communication. They truly made the whole planning process so easy to deal with. The set up was beautiful and the wait staff was awesome. I’m not sure the girls name who was our server but she was the sweetest and on top of everything. I give them 5 stars all day! Our hotel was super nice too.

My daughter and her husband got married at Georgios Banquets Hall on New Years Eve in 2022.From the beginning Stephanie and the owner George went above and beyond in helping us plan our daughters wedding.There were some last minute changes that Stephanie and George help us through and made it work.The Hall was absolutely beautiful, they food and the drink were outstanding. We had our Wedding on Friday 11/4 at Georgios and it was nothing short of amazing! The room is beautiful as is so we just added pops of color at the head table, gift, cake and memory table and napkins! We added uplights and a monogram and it just looked perfect! We had the Mediterranean chicken and it was so delicious! I'm still getting calls saying how good the food was! Kim, our head manager made sure everything went if without a hitch! Our bartender Jeff was super fast! Valerie and Stephanie in the office were nothing but amazing during this planning process! So many good spots for photos with our photographer and the hotel being attached made for an overall perfect choice! Thank you Georgios for a night I will never forget!

Georgios is a beautiful place with incredibly helpful staff to arrange the date. They are easy to talk with, you can call or email them, and the wedding planning went MUCH easier because of them.I have one thing to say about where this venue needs improvement: The attitude of the staff on the day of the wedding. First, there was a gentleman working at the bar, a little older, and he had a bad attitude all night. Several bridesmaids, groomsmen, and other guests vocalized this. The bride and groom did not personally have any issues. There were also several guests who complained about the man \"forgetting\" to put liquor in the drinks. He was also rushing people away from the bar as they decided what drink they wanted. There was a woman working with him, and she was super friendly.Then, during the dinner hour, a cousin of the groom didn't get dinner for forty-five minutes. Two members of staff, including the wedding coordinator, were notified, but nothing was done. On this note, they were also notified about the restrooms being out of soap which, with COVID and all, one would think they would prioritize the hygiene of a wedding of 150 people to prevent sickness from spreading. The soap was never replaced, and the mother of the bride had to bring in her own hand soaps to save the day.Now, this is where things get ugly, unfortunately. The biggest issue we had was with the wedding coordinator, and this was for several reasons. First, many guests had issues with her attitude, as did bridesmaids and groomsmen. When items were being transferred from the ceremony room to the reception room, the wall was left open, so people stepped through it into the second room to transfer the items only to be scolded about not being allowed and having to walk all the way around. This didn't make a whole lot of sense, considering they were also being rushed from the room well before the hour they reserved the room for had expired. She even had the staff team working on cleaning up chairs and everything minutes after the ceremony had ended, interrupting the opportunity for photos until the parents of the bride and groom, as well as the photographer, said to just wait since there was plenty of time to clean up still. During the reception, she was throwing away random people's drinks. At the very end of the night (11 pm), the family of the bride and groom were cleaning up when the coordinator yelled out to everyone \"If you are not the family of the bride and groom, leave now!\". The groom, not one to have his guests yelled at, especially when they were cleaning, told her, \"We have the room until 11:30, we have a plan. Thank you.\" She was EXTREMELY hostile to this, approaching the groom multiple times to call him disrespectful and rude. It was honestly very sad that this is how she would choose to end such a lovely night. She later explained to the parents of the groom that if they hadn't left the room by 11:30, it would have cost them more, but it was the approach that was the problem. Overall, Georgios I would give a solid 4.5/5 stars. The food was great, the drinks were nice, the rooms were gorgeous, and the staff planning the event were incredibly helpful. We never felt rushed about any of our plans, and the night went off without a hitch thanks to the incredible planners and vendors we brought from outside Georgios.

We were so happy with our experience at Georgios! First off, the girls in the office there are always SO quick to respond to questions and are all so helpful. Communication was never a problem with them, which is really helpful, since planning a wedding is stressful enough as it is! We did the family style meal and were very happy with the quality of the food. Much better than a lot of typical \"banquet hall\" meals and they had some really good choices to choose from. We had multiple compliments from the guests regarding the food. As a whole, I highly recommend their services for anyone planning a wedding. They made the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable.

We are so happy that we selected Georgios as our wedding venue! Our coordinators Tricia and Stephanie we so helpful with every little detail along the way. They answered any question we had in a timely manner. They were also super helpful in helping us navigate planning during the pandemic which made things even more stressful than normal wedding planning. Georgios provides a great value for all the services that they provide included in their wedding package. We appreciated that the hotel is connected to the banquet hall, which made everything very convenient for the wedding party and the wedding guests.

My husband and I chose Georgio's because not only is it beautiful and the food is amazing, but because we had friends get married there, and they could not stop raving about it and now I see exactly why. They even said their consultants recognized them at their table at our reception, which was touching in and of itself because it shows that they care about and remember the people they serve. Every consultant was so incredibly accommodating, never gave me a single worry in the world (and I am a worrisome, Type A, perfectionist personality), which meant absolutely everything when planning a wedding. Anything we wanted, consider it done. Everyone we worked with was so kind and accommodating, every question (and there were many) we had was answered in a timely manner. They all just went above and beyond. Our day was absolute magic, and that is in large part due to how well they run their business. I would recommend Georgio's to absolutely anyone. With my personality, I could not have been at any other venue than at Georgio's Banquets. I was always met with answers, solutions, and most of all, kindness every sing time I had in inquiry. Not to mention, our guests were so very impressed with the venue itself, staff, and the food. We had our wedding at Georgios and could not have been happier! We are so thankful for the help, flexibility and understanding everyone that we worked with had. All that has happened in the past year has made things difficult for wedding vendors yet every time we spoke we were met with positivity and reassurances from the staff. This was SO appreciated while trying to plan, postpone and replan our wedding. Everything went off without a hitch the day of: everything was set up where we requested, and the staff was helpful and fabulous! The food was so delicious and there was so much, no one was hungry after!The venue is gorgeous and the dance floor is huge!! Highly recommend for all future couples!

We had our wedding at Georgios and could not have been happier! We are so thankful for the help, flexibility and understanding everyone that we worked with had. All that has happened in the past year has made things difficult for wedding vendors yet every time we spoke we were met with positivity and reassurances from the staff. This was SO appreciated while trying to plan, postpone and replan our wedding. Everything went off without a hitch the day of: everything was set up where we requested, and the staff was helpful and fabulous! The food was so delicious and there was so much, no one was hungry after!The venue is gorgeous and the dance floor is huge!! Highly recommend for all future couples!

Georgios was an amazing venue from the start. After cancelling my June 2020 wedding at a different venue, Georgios was open and available to get me in for the following year. I mainly worked with Stephanie throughout the planning process and she was always friendly and took time to explain everything to us. I appreciated that they were able to accommodate my guests that had dietary restrictions with split plates.When we got closer to the wedding, Tricia and Gil were helping us and I cannot say enough about them as well! Tricia was a rockstar and I appreciated her making sure everything was accounted for and setup the way I specified. Gil and my mother worked extensively together during the day of the reception, but Gil made a point to check in with me multiple times throughout the night and keep me updated on what was going on or what would happen next. This was one of the first weddings for both sides of the family so the ease of mind the girls gave us was invaluable.Everyone gave us so many compliments about the food and the reception and ceremony rooms were both decorated beautifully. Thank you to the entire Georgio's team for helping us put together a really successful wedding in such unprecedented times.

They really made the entire process seamless which was one huge weight off the bride's shoulders! Going through the final details, they were more than willing to set up some personal things we wanted and ensured that every single thing was the way we anticipated. All of the wedding guests never wanted the night to end! We were extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Georgio’s for our wedding reception and we were beyond fortunate for their understanding, support, adaptability and guidance through planning a wedding during a pandemic. THANK YOU!! BOOK WITH THEM you really won’t regret it!

I attended a Wedding on 9/19/2020 and I just had to write a review! To start the room was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Uplighting and the Bride & Groom's name on the floor! The staff was so professional, wearing masks, had gloves on and made me feel so comfortable during Covid! The bartenders were very fast and quick! There was barely ever a line! The Manager there made sure everything ran smoothly and went to every table to check on the guests! The food was AMAZING! We had a Chicken meal with an Oregano Sauce and the soup was so delicious! I could go on and on... I would highly recommend this place for any event at any time!

Planning our wedding reception with Georgio's Banquets was very easy. They saw us for an appointment to look around with just an hours notice and Stephanie laid out the packages and options flawlessly with examples for us to see and feel. They were kind enough to allow us to promise a lower number since many of our potential guests were out of town and worked with us to do an impromptu food tasting at our request. As we continued to plan, Stephanie was by our side the whole time and answered all questions exactly how we wanted, \"Yes, we can do that!\" The reception hall was very detail oriented so that our hall was set up perfectly to our vision. To literally add the icing to the cake, Georgio's includes the cake with the room - which made the process quicker and easier. Enter COVID-19...Our reception was March 14th, the day things started getting crazy. We had no major problems and as our guests cancelled we added on many items like chairs, uplighting, and the monogram last minute to keep the room energy at its highest. Georgios was very accommodating. Our event space looked amazing and everything was laid out wonderfully as we walked into the room. Truly, our main complaint arose with the wait staff numbers during our reception. We were promised a dedicated head table waitress and definitely did not receive that service as none of us had drinks in our hands until 1.5 hours into the party. We also were not served our own appetizers as we greeted our guests. I would guess we had approximately 1 waitress/waiter per 4-5 tables, which was not enough. There also was only one bartender for a party of nearly 180 people, also not enough. Regardless, the wait staff remained after the reception ended to help us pack up the room and had good, kind attitudes. We had a nice stay in our complementary suite, nothing fancy by any means, but it had a jacuzzi and a nice seating area and we slept well knowing none of our guests were driving post-reception. The following day we met with Mr. George himself to discuss a refund, as previously promised, due to the pandemic. I would be lying if I said Mr. George didn't attempt to strong arm us into settling for a very small refund compared to the number of guests we lost. However, upon a discussion we settled at a number that left us pleased. In retrospect, I can see it was very nice that we got a refund at all as it truly was not part of our contract, albeit an Act of God.Overall, we would absolutely recommend Georgio's Banquets. More over, we would work with Stephanie again in a heart beat - we can not say enough great things about this wonderful woman. Georgios is not the fanciest but is a GREAT value for the money - the room looked amazing, the food was pretty good, the drink flowed freely, the hotel is convenient, and we had a blast. I assume no one else will ever have to deal with COVID happenings again either, so you will likely have nearly a perfect experience.

Georgios was great to work with! We got married 12/14/19 and the off season pricing we got was the best we found. They were affordable, service throughout the night was exceptional and planning for the wedding with their coordinators was a breeze! We knew we wanted a venue with an attached hotel as half of the guests were from out of town and Georgios also checked that box. They are awesome all around and I would highly recommend them!

The martini luge was a great idea for our evening shower. Bob the bartender was awesome! He kept them going. Valerie was a great event planner. She made sure this day was perfect. Georgios was a great place to get married. It was very affordable, especially given the discount for March weddings. I like that almost everything is included in the per plate price (open bar, cake, orchid centerpieces, etc.). We had both our ceremony and reception there (in different rooms). The food turned out great. I really like that every room has a staircase, so that the bridal party can make a dramatic entrance. There are a lot of add ons that you can purchase to make the night even more magical. We added the ceremony package, a photo booth, chairs, and late night snacks. A few downsides:1. Georgios switched florists from when we initially booked. They did not take any action to make sure that our centerpiece order was transferred to the new florist. Luckily, my wedding planner took care of the snafu, but I would've been quite upset if we didn't have centerpieces.2. After our ceremony ended, our guests still had to wait 20-30 minutes before the reception room was open. So people awkwardly stood in the hallways until they could be seated. 3. The night of our wedding, we were required to pay for several plates as we were told some guests changed their entrees from chicken to steak. I would've hoped that the venue would not have been so quick to allow people to change their entrees last minute and the fact that my husband had to pull out a card while we were trying to enjoy and celebrate was a bit frustrating.

There are a lot of add ons that you can purchase to make the night even more magical. We added the ceremony package, a photo booth, chairs, and late night snacks. A few downsides:1. Georgios switched florists from when we initially booked. They did not take any action to make sure that our centerpiece order was transferred to the new florist. Luckily, my wedding planner took care of the snafu, but I would've been quite upset if we didn't have centerpieces.2. After our ceremony ended, our guests still had to wait 20-30 minutes before the reception room was open. So people awkwardly stood in the hallways until they could be seated. 3. The night of our wedding, we were required to pay for several plates as we were told some guests changed their entrees from chicken to steak. I would've hoped that the venue would not have been so quick to allow people to change their entrees last minute and the fact that my husband had to pull out a card while we were trying to enjoy and celebrate was a bit frustrating.

We paid for the uplighting and highly recommend it (it made our photos POP). My guests enjoyed their rooms and our complimentary night stay was delightful --that spa tub was definitely divine after spending all day on our feet. All our friends and family loved there and complimented how everything looked. The food was also something highly complimented, especially the oreo marble cake. I appreciate how accommodating they were about food, because we had many people with special dietary restrictions (allergies, vegan, celiac, etc.). All in all, they helped make our dreams come true and our wedding unforgettable. Even 6 months later people still compliment us on our wedding and talk about how much fun they had there.

I was in the process planning my own wedding and even put $2,000 down payment. After the terrible service and attending a wedding i finally decided i rather loose the downpayment then to have my wedding here. I refuse to give anymore money to this business and will continue to make sure that everyone i know is to NEVER plan an event here.

I emailed back and forth with Stephanie a few times with questions on things and she always would respond right away which during the whole wedding process, you really are grateful for the quick responses! We went in for our details meeting and everything was explained in detail and they helped answer any questions or concerns we may have had. We liked that there were so many items included in the overall price that most other places don't offer, which is all detailed in the paperwork they give you prior to booking as well as in your reservation paperwork. It rained on our wedding day so we took photos inside Georgios and the recent remodel at that time was a great backdrop. We loved every moment of our wedding and will definitely recommend Georgios to our friends and family members who get married in the future. When we look back on our wedding photos or watch our wedding video, we will always be thankful we picked Georgios to have our reception at.

After planning my wedding with Georgios for over a year in advance my wedding day was a chaotic and unorganized mess due to them. My contact person was Patricia. I never spoke with anyone else in the office regarding any plans for my wedding and on the day of she was not even present after assuring my wedding coordinator and myself that she would be. On the day of my rehearsal Stephanie was there and we left all of the things that needed to be set up on my wedding day with her. I had put the place cards in alphabetical order like Patricia had asked me to and all they had to do was to sit them in the kissing bells on the check-in table. They said that the cards were too hard to place in the kissing bells and they did not have enough time to do them, so my coordinator had my hostesses to do them and instructed Georgios to at least set up my unity sand for the unity ceremony portion of my wedding and they did not even do that! I was saying my vows while my wedding coordinator rushed to set up the unity sand without any noise or distraction. They did absolutely nothing they were suppose to do. I was so upset that all of the promises made to me fell through and all Patricia could say was that \"If I had to be at all of the wedding accounts I oversee I would never be able to go home.\" That was not good customer service! I do not care about all of your other weddings, I cared about mines and the fact that I discussed in detail things to you and you said you were going to be there to make sure it was done! People don't just have close to $30,000 to spend on a wedding and that venue doesn't uphold their end. They were understaffed and for my cocktail hour my mother's table along with most of my guest did not even get hors' d' oeuvres! They forgot to turn on my monogram at the reception and did not even reimburse me in full for it. They shorted me $100. My wedding day was the longest most stressful day because of them and trying to deal with a company afterwards that wants to take no responsibility of their own is even worse! I don't recommend this place to anyone! Take your hard earned money somewhere were it will be appreciated!

Stephanie was our contact person in the office. She responded to emails right away and was great. On the Wednesday before our wedding which was 1 day before our rehearsal, we were told that our ceremony room will not be ready due to some renovations. Just to be clear these were NOT emergency repairs. Fully planned. THE WEEK OF OUR WEDDING. I spoke with the Owner, Mr. George. As soon as I started talking he told me, \"Don't even start making this a problem. There is nothing to worry about.\" I did not even get a chance to say anything. He was so rude. He guaranteed me that our room would be all ready come Saturday. Well Friday night, (the night before the wedding), I went to see the room. IT WAS A DISASTER. Walls were spotted with old paint, a light was barely hanging on by a wire, the drapes looked terrible. I wish I could attach pictures. All of the venue's staff was unaware at the appearance of this room. I had to point it out. Mr. George again went on the defensive immediately. He told me and my wife that we would \"just have to deal with it\". He told us to skip the pictures that had those walls in the background, which was the entire ceremony. The night before our wedding my wife was in tears. He was refusing to address the problems. My parents got involved, and once again he was so rude. Telling everyone to get over it and there is nothing more he could do. Total disaster. It was not until I told him about how I had to write a review and it was not going to be good that he decided to listen. I had to get ABC 7 news investigates involved. I even had a lawyer ready. It should not of had to come to me threatening all of that to get something done. They finished painting the room the morning of my wedding, only because I complained until they did something about it. It smelled of paint the entire time, which most of my guests pointed out. If the owner was not so rude and just admitted fault, this entire experience would have turned out completely different. He is so clueless of how to treat customers. I'm not sure how he stays in business. I hope this reaches the eyes of bride and grooms who are considering Georgio's. I don't want anyone to have to deal with that man after paying him $20,000. My wife and I wished we picked a different venue. No one wants to deal with that during their special weekend.

If the owner was not so rude and just admitted fault, this entire experience would have turned out completely different. He is so clueless of how to treat customers. I'm not sure how he stays in business. I hope this reaches the eyes of bride and grooms who are considering Georgio's. I don't want anyone to have to deal with that man after paying him $20,000. My wife and I wished we picked a different venue. No one wants to deal with that during their special weekend.

Georgios Banquets and Quality Inn was the perfect venue for our wedding. They had multiple Nice sized reception halls for us to choose from as well as providing a suite for us to get ready in which was extremely close to our wedding hall which made it easy to get all the pics and video we needed from beginning to end. Everything we needed all in one site. The food was Awsome and the service was perfect. They made sure we had everything we needed for our special day. We needed to take photos before the wedding guest arrived and the owner and staff made arrangements for extra servers to be hired and on hand to have the hall set up the night before and moved the chairs multiple times from the Reception halls to the ceremony hall and back so we could have the shots we requested just for us. The lighting guy was Awesome. I explained what I was looking for and he and his crew more then made it come to life in both the Reception halls and ceremony hall. Together with Georgios and our vision we are now to be featured in Chicago Style Weddings Magazine coming soon. We couldn't have picked a better Venue!

My Husband & I just had our wedding at Georgios this past weekend and it was perfect! First the planning was so easy. You can tell they've been doing this for 30 year! Valerie was there from start to finish and helped me with everything and then some. I wouldn't have been able to this without her. She made my dream wedding a reality!! The outside ceremony was gorgeous. When I walked into the grand ballroom for the reception my breath was taken away. Everything was exactly as we planned and even more beautiful than I expected. Then the food!! Delicious. Steaks so juicy you don't need a steak knife. The Cake! Blanca at the bakery Georgios uses did a wonderful job and was so sweet! Its exactly what I wanted and tasted delicious!!! Cant wait to eat our cake topper at our one year!!!The entire staff was great and so nice!!! I honestly don't think there's a better venue than Georgios!!!

I wish it was an option for no stars. This venue is HORRIBLE the worst nightmare of your life. I booked this venue back in September of 2016. My wedding is October 2017. When I first booked I was told Chivari chairs was $5 per chair , chair covers was free and they provide the cake we just had to do a cake tasting and they haven't updated their flyer yet. Sound good right? Well no all of it was a lie! Let's start with the cake, when we went for our cake tasting we taste our options(which was not good). After we got done and showed her how we wanted our cake to look she tells us she will call us tomorrow with a final total. Hmmmmm that's not what Georgios told us. She tells us Georgios only pay 20% of the cake cost. Next chair covers, I called to see if white was the only free color provide the lady on the phone tells me they do not provide any free chivari covers. Crazy right? But that's not all. The day we had to pay the rest of the 80% (which is two weeks before the wedding). Some old guy messed up everything. We changed our menu which took $2 off per plate plus we told him we was not going with their cake which took another $1 off per plate so that $3 off in total. Which brought our plate price down to $49 a plate. Once I gave him the money I knew something wasn't adding up right. He never took the cake off so he had to give us back $75. When he updated the contract he took $75 off of they which he claimed he messed up cause now that gives me more of a discount. Wait! There more another lady name Valerie tell me the taxes in my contract is wrong I simply tell her what ever the traces was last year is locked in call I booked the venue last year. She say no but it's okay we will keep it the same. As we start doing the lay out she tells me the provide table numbers. This is where I lose it. You might say why over table numbers. I'm so if your reading this you might be planning a wedding or some type of event which means you know how experience planning can be. Have I known about the table numbers I would not have brought my own. I then asked for a print out of EVERYTHING they provide and EVERYTHING they did not provide. She could not do that she claim everything was in the booklet the gave me when we first booked I asked her to show me where it's say they do not pay 100% for the cake and also show me where it say the provide table numbers. She was not able to do so. I had to keep remembering them of things. Her layout said I should have 9 tables when I really suppose to have 7 tables. It was horrible and I will NEVER prefer anyone to this venue. I just hope the day of my wedding go smooth if not I will make another review.

During the whole process the ladies and gents in the office were so accommodating and pleasant to work with, they gave her a great deal on an open bar, chaircovers and uplighting. We had an amazing time; the food was great just as the staff promised. The hotel accommodations were an awesome perk too, They gave us discounts on the hotel rooms and a free suit for my cousin and her husband. Being there for all the steps and planning till the final day was not stressful as it seems due to the Georgios staff ! Thanks for making this wedding planning stuff a lot easier and more fun than usual!

My best friend just got married at Georgios and it was the best! We had the greatest time!!! All my sorority sisters came in for the weekend and we all stayed at the hotel the, it was just like college! All of us under one roof to celebrate our sister! It was the perfect location! Having the hotel and banquet hall attached was amazing! The wedding was gorgeous and so beautiful!! They had the ceremony outside and it was breathtaking! The reception was in the grand ballroom and couldn't have been more perfect! I still cant get over how good the food was!! The staff was great and so nice! We danced all night and then went to the Black Sheep next door to keep the celebration going!! So much fun!! Loved every minute of it!

I had my reception here and the staff was wonderful, very accommodating. The reasoning for the three stars is for the management, specifically George of George. They offer a photo booth at the price of $900 and do not allow any other vendors besides the one they work with. As I was doing my research of this vendor, I saw that they were offering this photo booth for $500. That's a $400 difference between the actual vendor and georgios pricing. When I mentioned this to the woman I was working with, she said there was nothing they could do, I asked to speak to the owner George, who said the same thing so I told him that I will book it directly through their vendor and get it for $500, he argued with me and told me I was not allowed to do this. Then he proceeded to argue with me about pricing and tried to work the pricing. I got very irritated with them and settled for the price at $700. They also don't give a military discount so if there any army soon to be wives who are trying to book on a budget, every penny counts, I would not reccomend this venue. Other than those two issues the hall was fun for the night.

We both wanted a hall with character and elegance and this blew all of those out of the water. The moment we first walked in, we knew this was the place. The staff at Georgios goes above and beyond with every email, call and meeting. They make time to hear that this is your special day and they accommodate everything that you could imagine. We never felt as though a question was stupid or felt that we couldn't ask certain things. The hall itself is absolutely breathtaking. The elegance of the small features made the room exactly what we were looking for. They never forgot to add the little things to customize our day to be \"ours\". The service is above excellent. Our guests never had to ask for anything, it was already there or on its way to the table. The kindness of the staff was overwhelming. We appreciated this because on your wedding day, that is the last thing you are thinking about. Every single one of the wait staff always had a smile on their face and was always available to meet our needs. Wonderful job and kudos to a great team!The food was amazing. With not having a food tasting prior to the reception, my husband was hesitant. With that being said, we couldn't of been happier with the quality, taste, preparation and appearance of the food. It was simply wonderful from the appetizers, to the main courses, to the dessert and finally, the late night snacks, they were all delicious!!Through the night, the staff was gracious to help us with every step of the evening. I don't know what I would of done without them. Georgio's was amazing. They were easy-going and had clear communication during the planning process. Everything went to plan on the day of the reception as well!! Everything was beautiful. The only thing that happened was the servers were taking down the cake and making a lot of noise during my Maid of Honor's speech. Guests complained that they couldn't focus because they were clanking. Other than that, it was SO BEAUTIFUL and I would recommend my friends and family to have their reception there as well!

Georgio's was amazing. They were easy-going and had clear communication during the planning process. Everything went to plan on the day of the reception as well!! Everything was beautiful. The only thing that happened was the servers were taking down the cake and making a lot of noise during my Maid of Honor's speech. Guests complained that they couldn't focus because they were clanking. Other than that, it was SO BEAUTIFUL and I would recommend my friends and family to have their reception there as well!

Excellent in every aspect! They made the process from beginning to the end extremely smooth. They worked with me from the very first contact. They were flexible. My guests loved the hotel service and banquet service. There's really not enough words to describe the great experience we had with Georgio's Banquets.

The venue was great a little pricey but what isn't when planning your wedding our (bride and groom) real issue was the staff. First, our family complained about the staff dancing and recording and making fun of people dancing at our wedding when brought to attention of the staff they said we asked the head waitress and she didn't see anything like that but a lot of our guests saw it. Second, A lot of our family members complained about not getting a piece of our wedding cake it seems like only the head table only got it and in our contract it says cake to be served with dinner. When brought to the attention of the staff after the wedding they said there was nothing they could do and assured me that the staff that night said they served all the cake. But if a huge majority didn't get cake then where did the cake go and we gave them cake boxes to put any extra in and got nothing back. Also keep in mind the at least 5 people didn't show up so there should have been atleast 5 pieces of cake left over. When mentioned that to staff they said they would ask the head waitress that night and about a week later Georgieos finally got back to us and said they don't know where the extra cake went and nothing they could do now because a lot of time had passed. And then after that they afford us a free one night stay at the hotel. We just took it because at that point we were done battling them about this. But because of this it ruined our experience of the place we heard so well of. So that's why we are rating it so poorly

My husband and I got married here October 9, 2015 and we are so PLEASED at the outcome of the ceremony and reception. From the minute we walked in for pricing we were in AWE . The staff in the office were so courteous, and patient with us. They did everything we wanted , I may have called every other day about something and they never once gave off bad vibe , or sounded annoyed . Day of the wedding , the decorations and ambience was beautiful. What can I say about the food , the BEST, some of my guest have said the food was good , they enjoyed every bite. The waiters , were very courteous and respectful to our guest . We also spent our honeymoon in the Complimentary Suite wow ,beautiful . Five Stars All The Way

This location for a wedding reception is perfect! We had big Irish wedding, so the food and drink options had to suit everyone's needs but within our budget! Patricia our consultant couldn't do enough for us and was so accommodating.\rThe package was superb,from chair covers to the wedding cake all included! The wine too.\rThe day of nothing was left undone, seating chart, photos we wanted around the room was all perfect!\r6 months later people still compliment the food that night. \r\rThis is the place to get married.

We had our April wedding there..we used the Clerion Room for our ceremony and our reception was in the Starview..the staff was amazing..the food was fantastic...I could not have asked for a better place..I had always wanted my wedding there and it was a dream come true!

We had our wedding here in August and everything turned out amazing!! We were iffy at first about the size of the room but once we seen it all together it was AMAZING!! They did a great job. Our head waitress Doreen was extremely helpful and was on top of everything throughout the whole night. She always made sure me and my husband were taken care of along with our guests. We picked this venue because it was reasonable in price, location was great and the fact that the hotel was connected was a huge plus. All the guests enjoyed themselves and raved about the food and the venue space. We worked with Patricia throughout the whole planning process and she was extremely helpful and responsive each time i needed her. Patricia always made sure we were on track and helped keep me calm during the stressful times. The ONLY downfall for us was there was some issues with the hotel rooms temperature and our guests being accommodated for that but other than that nothing as far as the wedding. Overall it was a GREAT wedding and i am so glad we chose Georgios to share a special day!! Thank you again to all of Georgios staff...and special shout out to Patricia & Doreen!!

We used Georgios for a variety of reasons - convenient location, hotel attached, great reviews, and because they really help every step of the way. We live in another state so it was really important to us that we have a venue which is easy to work with and who will make the process as easy and as least stressful as possible. The staff was all very nice from the beginning all the way through the end. If I called or emailed I got a quick response and felt that the person who responded was really listening to and cared about what I had to say. Included in their reception package was table centerpieces, linens, assistance with set up, and the cake. I was a little nervous about the cake because the bakery that provides it has a really outdated and unimpressive website but the cake was great. The food was good, the bar was good. The head table server, Doreen, was fantastic. We also rented a photobooth through them which our guests got a total kick out of and they put together a scrapbook of the photos everyone took which we were able to leave with immediately. They provided checklists of what I would need to make the process run smoothly and then helped set everything up - from the escort cards and gift table, favor stuff, had the cake serving set and champagne flute exactly where they needed to be when they were needed. It was an easy experience working with them and worth every penny!

My husband and I had our wedding here about two weeks ago and could not be happier with our choice to have it at Georgios. \r\rEven from the beginning, every single one of their employees has been so helpful and accommodating to us. I think I would e-mail Shannon every day with a new question and she would answer me promptly and always have the answer I needed. We wanted our wedding to be somewhat different than your traditional wedding and we had a more \"rustic\" theme. As you can imagine, it is hard to be \"rustic\" when you are having in indoor wedding, but Georgios helped us by suggesting we use the burlap table runners and they also helped set up all of our decorations exactly how we wanted them to do so.\r\rI love that we had our ceremony, reception, and hotel rooms all in one building. Everyone else loved it as well as it was such an added convenience. Valerie and the owner were always there when I would randomly pop in to take a second, third, and fourth look at the venue days and weeks before the wedding. They were so friendly and helpful throughout the process as well. \r\rDuring the wedding, we had the most hospitable and accommodating waitress named Doreen. She made sure the head table was always satisfied and that we had everything we needed at all times. Everyone commented on how sweet she was. \r\rAll in all, I am so happy that I picked Georgios to host my wedding. The food was amazing and exactly what I wanted. The customer service was the best part of the entire process and I would HIGHLY recommend having your wedding here. I am going to post some pictures as soon as my photographer sends them to me and you will see how lovely it was to have a wedding here!

They have a variety of affordable wedding packages to select from and are very accommodating. On the day of the reception, my husband and I did not have any worries at all. My husband and I got married on October 10 of this year. Prior to our wedding we moved to the Rockford area but still planned on getting married with our family in the south suburbs. Georgios was a great location and helped us throughout the entire planning process. It was great that they were willing to do a lot of things over the phone or email as we would have to drive 2 hours to come to town. The wedding reception was gorgeous. There were a few hiccups with tables not being set up correctly; however, our head table waitress was amazing and told me not to worry that she would take care of it.

My husband and I got married on October 10 of this year. Prior to our wedding we moved to the Rockford area but still planned on getting married with our family in the south suburbs. Georgios was a great location and helped us throughout the entire planning process. It was great that they were willing to do a lot of things over the phone or email as we would have to drive 2 hours to come to town. The wedding reception was gorgeous. There were a few hiccups with tables not being set up correctly; however, our head table waitress was amazing and told me not to worry that she would take care of it.

Before the wedding they are very accommodating but during the wedding they don't budge on much, I hate the fact that I have duck tape in my wedding pictures. You would think that they would have enough money to fix a little carpet on the steps to the canopy. They charge for everything, but on the plus the food was good, even though the bride and groom was unable to pack ours up and take it upstairs. I wouldn't recommend this reception hall to anyone because its overrated.

Georgios Banquet's and Georgios Comfort Inn was a perfect match for us since my husband's family and friends would all be traveling from the southern east coast to attend our wedding. \r\rWe booked Georgios a year prior to our wedding date of 10/11/14 and worked directly with Stephanie throughout the entire process.\r\rAs one can imagine planning a wedding and reception for families in two different states can be challenging. Throughout the year and especially as the wedding date drew closer and closer there were many changes to the guest list and the number of rooms needed-- at times there were even changes to the same reservation (i.e.: \"Stephanie we need to drop that room, ooops no, now we need it back.\") Regardless of the amount changes requested or how confusing they might have become Stephanie handled them all gracefully with patience and a friendly demeanor.\r\rAs a matter of fact this seemed to be the rule of thumb when working with Stehpanie. She was very patient as we went step by step in planning the wedding. Anytime I had a question she would respond quickly and was extremely helpful start to finish.\r\rWhen all was said and done we were completely satisfied with our decision and just as importantly-- so were our guests. In the weeks immediately following the reception we received many compliments on how beautiful our reception was and how delectable the food tasted.\r\rAll the overnight guests found their rooms comfortable, enjoyed their stay, and considered the Comfort Inn staff very accommodating.\r\rIf we had to do it all over, we would definitely do business \rwith Georgio's again.

Ever since July 2011, when my sister had her wedding reception at Georgios Banquets, I knew I would also have my wedding reception there and that time came on October 4th, 2014. We had one of the most memorable evenings and could not be more pleased. \r\rEverything was perfect from the folded napkins, the chair covers & sashes, the centerpieces to the amazing color of the up lighting. We had over 340 guests and with the high ceilings and the amount of space in the banquet/ballroom we never felt crowded. The décor is warm and inviting and it leads to everyone enjoying their time and dancing the night away on the oversized dance floor. Their food is delicious and the cakes, from Naples Bakery, will never leave you dissatisfied. You also have the benefit of the hotel (Comfort Inn) conveniently attached to Georgios. \r\rThe staff and team are extremely helpful and professional. They value your opinions, are considerate and aim to please. I highly recommend Georgios for your wedding, as their competitive prices and overall quality cannot be beat. \r

We were planning our wedding from 5 hours away, which could have been very difficult, but they made it seamless. August of 2014 I held my wedding and reception at Georgio's. From the first day the staff was amazing, friendly and truly accommodating. \r\rI had the unique experience of planning my wedding from a different state, so having a staff willing to help me with every detail and be extremely accommodating along the way was a necessity. \r\rI was very apprehensive of not being able to taste my food before the wedding but it was very tasty and I didn't get any complaints from guests. \r\rHaving the hotel connected was also very accommodating considering a large portion of our guests were coming from out of state, including us (the bride and groom). I can say you will get all you want and need out of the banquet side, the hotel side can use a little help (however keep in mind we were staying in the hotel during renovations).\r\rI would recommend Georgio's to anyone planning an event. \r

From the first day the staff was amazing, friendly and truly accommodating. \r\rI had the unique experience of planning my wedding from a different state, so having a staff willing to help me with every detail and be extremely accommodating along the way was a necessity. \r\rI was very apprehensive of not being able to taste my food before the wedding but it was very tasty and I didn't get any complaints from guests. \r\rHaving the hotel connected was also very accommodating considering a large portion of our guests were coming from out of state, including us (the bride and groom). I can say you will get all you want and need out of the banquet side, the hotel side can use a little help (however keep in mind we were staying in the hotel during renovations).\r\rI would recommend Georgio's to anyone planning an event. \r
