We had the best time working with the Gettysburg Hotel. Alaina is FANTASTIC--she is accommodating, kind, genuine, and on the ball. She made planning a breeze. Our guests LOVED the small town feel and elegance of the ballroom. The BEST wedding food out there, too. We used many of their preferred vendors and have been receiving compliments from our guests for weeks since our big day. THANK YOU for hosting the most amazing day of our lives! AMAZING!!! Everyone at the hotel was so helpful. We had a gorgeous wedding and if I could do all over again, I’d rebook the Gettysburg Hotel. Alaina (coordinator) was so helpful and even helped us in ways that I didn’t even think about. Our guests have raved over and over again, how much they loved it. We even had a card and some refreshments in our honeymoon suite at the end of the night. They were so accommodating and helpful the entirety of the planning process. Even our taste testing was fantastic! LOVE LOVE LOVE. My husband and I had the best day of our lives there. Reviewed on 13-07-2023

The banquet room was spacious, and the food/drinks were great. Our guests were thankful they could just walk up to their rooms at the end of the night. A.M Barry(other)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-04-2022 My daughter just got married and we had a fabulous reception and entire weekend at the Gettysburg Hotel. The wedding coordinator we worked with was a complete professional. She was incredibly organized and executed my daughter and son-in-law's vision for their wedding to perfection! She met with us several times, and was highly responsive when we reached out by phone or email. She anticipated our needs so that when we did have questions or requests, she had already taken care of it. We had the rehearsal dinner, a welcome cocktail reception and a brunch as well. The entire staff were pleasant and followed through on every detail. She went above and beyond. For example, she helped with the hotel guest bags, made sure the florist and other vendors knew what they should be doing, and even personally helped move the bride's belongings into the honeymoon suite on the day of the wedding. Nothing was left to chance. We got all our special photos, decorations, and even left over cake wrapped up and saved for us to bring home. Apart from the wonderful service, the hotel was clean, comfortable and welcoming. They made accommodations for an elderly family member. At no time did we feel rushed or that we weren't the center of attention. It was the level of professionalism and pampering that every couple and their family and guests hope for. Thank you, thank you for a memorable event. Reviewed on 09-04-2022
Blair Thornhill(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 23-10-2021 We highly recommend the Gettysburg Hotel as a wedding venue. The venue itself is beautiful , which for us was great, as we wanted to minimize decor costs. You also can't beat the location, as it's centrally located and within walking distance to lots of shops, restaurants, the battlefield etc. We also can't speak highly enough of the events manger and her staff. She kept us on track, was always available for question, and really made the planning process as seamless as it could be! With the exception of a few things ( flowers, DJ, Photographer), everything was included in the costs which also made planning that much easier. Reviewed on 14-02-2022

There are literally just so many choices in this area, but none that we really fell in love with. When we met Megan at the Gettysburg Hotel, it was like my husband and I immediately knew this was the place for our special day. Although the venue is absolutely stunning (that vault though), Megan was a HUGE factor in our decision. She was patient, kind, informative, and truly cared about our vision. She answered every single question I threw her way, and there were many, and was always willing to go the extra mile for us. I truly could not have gotten through the planning process without her. She made everything so easy for us! When our wedding day finally came, Megan, the venue, the staff, and every single little detail exceeded our expectations. Megan and the staff completed all of our setup and tear down, so my husband and I could just focus on our special day. I truly felt like royalty the whole weekend. For starters, she is extremely thoughtful and took care of the small details from start to finish. She helped us work within our budget. She learned about us as a couple and took time to understand what we wanted our reception to be. At the last minute, she even had a table set up for us for a family member with Alzheimer's in the event they would be able to stay for the reception. Megan did a phenomenal job decorating and organizing. the food was delicious. I was never without a drink if I wanted one. when the night was over and we saw our room, our cake was packaged. wine, cheese, and strawberries were there. I truly felt cared for and pampered. it was a wonderful experience, from planning to the last second we were there. I can't say enough good things about Megan and the rest of the staff. So kind, helpful, accommodating, prepared and professional. The Gettysburg Hotel knows how to put on a weddding. And all my guests talked about how good the food was and how lovely the venue was! Our wedding was a dream to plan because of how experienced the Gettysburg Hotel's wedding staff is. It was the least stressful aspect of my life (how many brides can say that? ) They were able to facilitate any questions we had, accommodated any and all of our requests, and they were able to make our wedding day perfect. She was dedicated to making sure our day was special and flawless. Not only did she work with us well, she built relationships with our vendors to ensure everything and everyone was where it needed to be. The venue itself was fantastic. We loved the historic element of the train station and reception hall (an old bank that still has the vault in the back). It made for some excellent pictures. Wesley Hamrick(parent)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 28-12-2018 As father of the bride, my wife and I wanted to make our daughter's wedding as perfect as possible. She was determined to be married in Gettysburg as the town and surrounding battlefield hold a very special place in our family's hearts. Gettysburg was such a big part of her life growing up. Not only were we able to locate the perfect church in Gettysburg for the ceremony, we were blessed to meet up with Megan Wherley and introduced to the Gettysburg Hotel and all it's amenities, charm and hospitality. Megan worked with us and was professional beyond reproach and yet so approachable as though we had known her for years. She and her staff made sure the wedding reception and all of the moving parts that go along with the evening ran smoothly and transparent to us. My daughter and husband, along with so many of our guests, commented on how classy, warm and receiving the entire evening was. We were also fortunate enough to have an evening wedding December 28th, so the decor inside and outside and throughout the town square was beautifully decorated. And what made it even more enchanting, God added some fog which made it seem like you just walked onto the set of a Hallmark Christmas movie. Thanks to Megan and the entire staff of the Gettysburg Hotel, that night was even more beautiful than what we could have asked or planned for. Megan hit this one out of the ballpark!! Meighan Pasick(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 26-05-2019 I knew that I wanted to get married in a Gettysburg, but my husband needed a bit of coaxing. That’s what I told Megan when I met her in May of 2018 to tour the venue while I was out there for work, and to my shock she was more than understanding. We had been to Gettysburg a few times before for weekend vacations with my family and loved the area, but he was stuck on getting married in our home state of CT to accommodate more friends and family. After a few months of looking at venues near us, I finally convinced him to come and check out The Gettysburg Hotel and meet Megan with me on a Sunday and instantly he was hooked. Not only is the space perfect for a couple of history nerds like us, but Megan truly set us both at ease that day when we bombarded her with tons of questions and she had every answer. And it was nothing short of that for the next 10 months leading up to our wedding, especially not being local to the area and working with her to plan it from afar. Everything was done through email which was fantastic, and she juggled numerous silly questions and countless redundant emails from the both of us-ultimately leading to the absolutely perfect day in May for us to say I Do. If you are a newly engaged couple looking to have a memorable wedding experience I mean it when I say look no further than The Gettysburg Hotel. The value for the amount we paid was incomparable, the entire staff was so accommodating, the venue was incredibly amazing, the vendors they work with are truly wonderful, but it is really Megan who is a true star. Also, if you can, opt to have your ceremony on the historic train platform right behind the hotel, and get the ice cream bar for dessert- our guests are STILL raving over it! Reviewed on 28-06-2019

Our vision came out the way we wanted it to and all our guest said it was the best wedding they ever been too. The food was excellent. The only problem I have was that we also had a breakfast and lunch for the girls while our hair and makeup was being done. The food was supposed to be bagels for breakfast and half wraps and finger sandwiches for lunch. Well the lunch was brought out at the same time as the bagels and was sitting out. They did take it back to keep it cold for us until we wanted it, but no one really trusted it after it sat out. The spread that they put out was not really appetizing to anyone. There was only very tiny finger sandwiches that filled no one up and no half wraps like I expected. That being said the food for the actual wedding was fantastic. Reviewed on 03-01-2019

Also appreciated the acceptance of us being Bride and Bride. Every single time I emailed Megan, which was a lot, or had any questions or changes, she responded immediately and fully and was the epitome of professional and thorough. Every part of our contract was laid out in detail and everything was fully explained and reviewed and Megan also assisted with finer details we hadn't thought of and was a supportive and friendly presence who didn't miss anything. she also was very flexible with her schedule at all times. the hotel had some awesome wedding vendor events and a lot of helpful tools to help us find vendors they have used in the past. we also had a very lovely tasting and tour, which sealed the deal for us. The wedding package price also included a cake from an option of two bakers. Megan also taught us how to cut the cake. We went with Karen Rodkey, which was also the best choice, our guests are still gushing about our cake. I am so excited to have the top tier for our anniversary. We received so many compliments on everything. Megan is an expert designer (it was beautiful and turned out better than I had envisioned) and has a great team and they are very efficient at multi tasking. I loved having the safe lights on and the bars closed during the ceremony, made for excellent photos. The cocktail hour was fun and food during the cocktail hour was delicious. For dinner, we had plated meal options of the citrus and horseradish encrusted salmon (amazing!) and chicken with fontina cream and tomato relish (equally as amazing) and a napoleon polenta as the veggie option. Everyone raved about the food. Megan, the chef, and staff were on point for those with allergies or special dietary needs. hotel was very helpful with coordinating our entrances and exits and assisted with set ups. The bridal suite was gorgeous and in close proximity to the ballroom and also complimentary, with a beautiful fire place and jacuzzi tub. The hotel staff brought all our gifts to the room for us without us having to ask as well as took care of decorations and clean up as well. They also had a lovely spread and treats for us in the room for after the wedding for a very personable experience and a keep sake we can't wait to use. Megan at the Gettysburg Hotel was in charge, and I was free to show up at the party of a lifetime, unphased by anything, not even torrential rain.My husban and I arrived at the Gettysburg hotel, and stepped into the cocktail hour. Drinks were being enjoyed by our closest and dearest family and friends, crisply uniformed servers passed delicious food, the bride and groom, smiling from ear to ear. Over a year of planning and now, this most important event, was running like a top. As we passed a round table set like spokes in a wheel, warmly lit with candles, place cards and photos of family brides and grooms smiled at us from weddings long ago. And as we stepped into the ballroom, Megan at my side, I couldn’t have been more pleased. The tables were perfectly set, the cake and candy table, a work of art! Megan has skill and an eye for perfection. In my opinion, she has abilities that would be welcome in the finer hotels of NY or DC.The night went off without a hitch, the ballroom was softly and romantically lit, the food was really good, the servers were on thier game and a young marriage was ushered off to a wonderful beginning. Marie Salzmann(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 10-03-2018 My husband and I could not have been any happier with the results of having our wedding reception at the Gettysburg Hotel. When we began the wedding planning process, we were hesitant to visit the Hotel, as it was a bit far from the ceremony and we didn't know if the drive was worth it. After visiting however, we instantly knew it was the place and cancelled our tours of other reception sites. Having visited several potential reception locations already, we were blown away by how much was included and taken care of by the Gettysburg Hotel. Their level of assurance in taking care of so many details instantly put me at ease and I knew that it would be much less for me to worry about. I originally started working with April, who was wonderful and then Megan took over and handled everything amazingly. I had decided to do a lot of the reception decorations myself and the day before the wedding when I gave everything to Megan and explained my vision for the ballroom, she took that vision and made it look a thousand times more beautiful! The food was perfect and they were wonderful with working through dietary needs and even personal preferences from some of the guests. They provided a cake from one of their suggested vendors, Karen Rodkey Cakes that was both beautifully designed and delicious. Finally, they thought of little things, like having cake, a bottle of champagne and a selection of food up in our honeymoon suite for the end of the time. Our reception could not have run more seamlessly and I know that it was due to Megan and the rest of her staff's impeccable behind-the-scene coordination. She truly went above and beyond from start to finish for us, and I am so grateful for her patience, flexibility, and expertise. The only negative was that we had a less-than-ideal service experience during our actual wedding reception. They seemed quite understaffed, and it took longer than anticipated to get all the plated dinners out. The beauty of this historic venue is the perfect setting for a wedding, and the staff does an amazing job at making sure your day is as seamless and carefree as possible. From the beginning, the Hotel staff led by April Rose makes sure to arrange a package that fits your budget and vision for your day. A deciding factor in us choosing this venue was the fact that we could do both the ceremony and reception at the same venue, making it more convenient for guests, and eliminating some issues with coordination. After booking, April is there to answer all of your questions and make recommendations. In my opinion, the best part about the Gettysburg Hotel, is that this is a one-stop-shop that handles all of the details, leaving you (the bride and groom) to enjoy the day. April and her team set up all of my decorations perfectly, exactly as I had asked, and at the end of the night packaged everything with care so that the next day all I had to do was pick up the boxes. During the ceremony and reception itself, April and your designated wedding maître d’ expertly coordinate everything, making sure the events flow effortlessly and seeing to it that you are always happy, with drinks in hand and the food you need. I received numerous compliments during and after the wedding about not only the gorgeous venue of the Grand Ballroom, but also the high level of service provided from all of the staff including servers, the bartender, and everyone in between. Plus, quite importantly, the food and drinks were all outstanding. The attention to detail of everyone involved with each element is impressive. I could go on and on, but ultimately the Gettysburg Hotel understands that time and stress involved with planning a wedding, and what they do is take that stress off, ensuring that you have a beautiful, stress-free wedding day that is exactly what YOU want. Also, please take a view at our wedding video our videographer posted on Youtube that will show more of the highlights of our wedding and you can definitely see the beautiful scenery that the Hotel offers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZbQVXGVd98\rSelection Process - My husband and I first came to learn of the Hotel at a Wedding Expo in Washington, DC. We were actually on our way out of the expo when we decided to stop at one last booth. We were impressed by Megan as well as the brochure and other information we were given. We attended the food tasting with my mother. The food options were plentiful (which my husband thoroughly enjoyed lol) and we were given a tour of the hotel and honeymoon suite.\rPreparation - We worked closely with Megan concerning every aspect of the planning process. She was very responsive to all of the questions and concerns we had and was available by phone or email. The most important part of the planning process was the run through we were able to complete with Megan where she talked us through the entire process and addressed any follow-up questions we had a few weeks before the wedding. From beginning to end, Megan Wherley (Events Manager), Andrea Proulx (Director of Sales/Marketing) and their entire team were nothing short of remarkable. Sure, my wife and I (both unabashed history nerds - and New Jersey residents) initially chose the Gettysburg Hotel because of its location, historical significance, and obvious physical beauty. What we didn't anticipate was also being treated to the most enjoyable professional experience we've ever had (or will likely ever have) in any industry. Truly, Megan and Andrea's (tireless) willingness to assist our experience in every conceivable way, with every last detail, at every stage of the proceedings, was un--real.\r\rOn the more practical side of the analysis, if you take the time to do some proper number crunching, and account for ALL likely costs, you should also discover that the pricing at GH is more reasonable/competitive then you may initially think (with dozens of different price points and packages to choose from). For example, my wife and I originally priced out having our wedding at a renovated barn outside of town with caterers, etc. After accounting for ALL likely costs (and choosing packages that accommodated our specific, self-funded budget), GH was actually a few dollars less expensive per guest. I know, who knew?\r\rAll in all, if your short list for wedding/reception location considerations includes \"value,\" \"professionalism,\" and \"quality,\" I cannot more strongly recommend the Gettysburg Hotel. It was genuinely the experience of a lifetime (without soliciting opinions, many of our guests have said so too). Even the courthouse was a short walk away and we received our license on Wednesday and got married on Saturday and it saved us a trip to the area (we are from out of town) so it worked out perfect! \r\rThe large and elegant ballroom was to die for! It was a beautiful backdrop for photos and with plenty of room for guests (about 180) and did not feel crowded at all. Everyone was on the dance floor the entire night and it was great! The cocktail hour was right outside the ballroom with lots windows and natural light. \r\rMegan was FANTASTIC! to work with and made planning a breeze. christine wolfe(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 12-06-2015 We knew we wanted to get married in Gettysburg and had our eye on the hotel for quite awhile. It is beautiful inside & out, not to mention the hisorical value. After our first meeting with Megan we were 100% sold. She was very flexible as far as meeting with us when we had time. We later attended a bridal tasting at the hotel where we decided on the vendors we wanted to use (not necessary but so helpful for a busy bride-to-be). It was so nice to meet the preferred vendors at the venue, it made us feel very comfortable as they were already familiar with the hotel & Megan; it just made the who planning process seamless. We also were able to taste all of the amazing meal options and see a few samples of the beautiful cakes (included in wedding package). As the year of planning progressed we were in touch with Megan each time we had a question or concern. She was so excellent in communicating with us and was quick to respond. Our rehearsal dinner was fabulous and our wedding day could not have gone more smoothly. We had pictures taken in the college room, out back and also around the square in front of the hotel. We were married in the ballroom and after the cocktail hour the ballroom was ready for the reception. We supplied a ton of candy for our wedding favors & I have no idea how it would have looked had I put it together but Megan took the task on and I could not have been more pleased with how it turned out. The food was fantastic and each of our 100+ guest have commented on how elegant and perfect the wedding was. Reviewed on 20-07-2015

Our wedding was absolutely everything that we wanted because the staff there was so accommodating to our every need. In particular Megan Wherley, our coordinator was AMAZING! It felt as if she was our very own personal wedding planner...she was always available to us, offered great ideas and never said no. I have to say my mother and I coming from New York, were somewhat over the top with what we wanted, but Megan knew just how to handle us and she did her best to get us everything that we asked for...actually I think she did get us everything. Most importantly, Megan is so good at her job that she took so much stress off of me during my wedding planning. Your wedding is in great hands with Megan. Christina, the banquet manager is also a doll and knows what she is doing. She took all of our direction perfectly and set up our dream wedding exactly how we wanted it. She also made sure that throughout the whole night, we were 100% pampered and taken care of. Even the wait staff and bartenders, especially Terry were AWESOME! The drinks were perfect, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere beautiful and the people were the best. Kerry Foley(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-10-2014 Of course every bride thinks their wedding was perfect, but mine actually was, thanks to the Gettysburg Hotel! The ballroom is a beautiful venue. It held our 175 guests nicely, with plenty of room for dancing, a DJ, a sweetheart table, and a cake table. We had 21 round tables. The vault and the high ceiling both make it a very unique venue. Our guests really enjoyed the atmosphere.\r\rAll the staff was amazing- many of my guests chose to stay at the hotel, so it felt very quaint and comfortable! Megan Wherley was absolutely terrific- so understanding, accessible, and helpful in the days, months, and year leading up to our big day.\r\rThe food was delicious, and there were many options for appetizers and entrees. I highly recommend attending one of their tastings during the year for brides-to-be and grooms-to-be. It really helped us select our dishes.\r\rWe also had our cocktail hour outside down at the train station- definitely ask about this. It was a little chilly in October, but a really unique place to have cocktail hour (this is where Abe Lincoln arrived by train to give the Gettysburg Address).\r\rThe rooms were a bit pricey for our guests, so that was probably the only thing I would change. That being said, the location of the hotel can't be beat. It was nice for our guests to be right in the heart of downtown Gettysburg with so many post-wedding bar options and daytime activities the next day.\r\rThe Gettysburg Hotel was wonderful. I would do it again in a heartbeat. Can't say enough good things- I very highly recommend. Reviewed on 23-12-2014
Samantha James(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-09-2014 My favorite things about my wedding venue: \r\r1) PERFECT LOCATION. Have you ever been to a wedding where you have to shuttle back and forth from one location to the other? It gets tiring. We had our ceremony on the train platform right behind the hotel and our reception was held in the ballroom. No driving required. Furthermore, there are tons of restaurants, shops, and bars within walking distance from the hotel - so our guests were frolicking and being entertained throughout the weekend. No driving; no fuss; maximum fun had by all. \r\r2) WONDERFUL EVENT POINT PERSON. Planning a wedding is stressful. What (or rather who) kept me sane? Our exceptionally gifted, responsive, responsible, and lovely event point person. She is the one who held my hand every step of the way, assuring me that she had everything under control, that she knew what our venders were doing, and that every detail for our event would be personally addressed by her and her staff. Everyone told me to expect that something would go wrong on our big day. Nothing bad did happen and the event went even better than I could have imagined. Because of the hard work and care she put in, I had the perfect wedding. Plus she is really sweet and very patient with stressed brides. \r\r3. INDIVIDUALITY OF VENUE. I am at the age where I go to a billion weddings a year. Many of those have become a blur of bland banquet halls, but our ceremony was held on the train platform President Lincoln rolled in on before he gave his iconic address; our cocktail hour was in the actual train station; and our reception was in a grand ballroom that used to be the Gettysburg National Bank (built in 1814!) that features original fixtures and a super cool bank vault. Nothing bland about it. \r\rSO, if you are looking for a conveniently located venue that will leave an impression on your guests and will allow for a perfect event - look no further. I have no regrets - just great pictures and even greater memories. Reviewed on 23-12-2014

The ballroom was beautiful and the hotel's location in the center of town made it easy for guests to explore before and after the wedding. The historic feel of the hotel along with the renovations they've done in the last year really fit in with our theme which was vintage with a modern twist. Megan, the Event Manager there, is amazing. We live about an hour and a half away in the DC area. So, planning a wedding, especially one that isn't local, can be challenging, but Megan was so responsive and accommodating, even with last minute changes, that it made things so much easier. She took copious notes in the couple times we met in person on how we wanted things set up, and it was great to be able to leave the decorations with her the day before and trust that everything would get done. She and her staff did a great job with the reception, making everything seem seamless, and making sure that my new husband and I were taken care of before, during, and after the reception. My husband and I knew from the moment we first contacted Megan that we were in good hands. Her professionalism, positive energy, and attention to detail made planning our November 2013 destination wedding a breeze. We planned our wedding within seven months from a distance of four hours away. During the preparation, any question or concern we had was addressed fully in a timely manner. It was greatly reassuring to know that Megan and her staff truly cared about our wedding and our experience; we weren't just a number to them. As to the food/drink, we had a variety of menus from which to choose and we were able to adjust the one we ultimately selected to match the theme of our wedding. Excellent price-point and an amazing value; other venues did not compare to what The Gettysburg Hotel offered. Because we were unfamiliar with local vendors we relied heavily on the list of preferred vendors and we were not disappointed. (Kudos to Shaun of Creative Force Photography and Scott of Great Scott Productions, our wonderful photographer and DJ respectively! And a shout out to The Flower Boutique, too.) With a guest count of 70 we were able to hold both the ceremony and reception in the main ballroom, a plus given that most of our guests were in Gettysburg for the first time. Megan embraced our desire to have medieval elements in our reception and worked with us to balance and incorporate them as best as possible to create our dream environment. She even came up with suggestions that we never even considered. Chef took our menu choices and created a delicious feast (family style service) that many of our guests are still commenting on. The package we chose included the cake which was scrumptious, and I am very picky when it comes to desserts. Megan and her staff took care of set-up/tear down and were attentive throughout the afternoon/evening. All we were really left to do was to enjoy our day. My sister and brother-in-law arranged a breakfast buffet at the hotel for our guests the following morning and the food/service was impeccable as well. The entire staff at The Gettysburg Hotel (general manager, front desk, housekeeping, servers, maintenance, sales office, etc.) took care of us and our guests and ensured that our stay was memorable. From the first moments we talked with her, she embraced the vision our daughter and future son-in-law had for their wedding. Throughout the planning period, she listened, offered suggestions, and supported us. Since we were out of state and not in Gettysburg, her promptness in answering our questions and concerns via email or phone helped us feel at ease. She was there at the rehearsal, the day of the wedding, and the morning brunch afterwards. Her behind the scenes direction of the hotel staff and the outside vendors was expertly and professionally performed.\r\rThe Wedding - The banquet room was a beautiful venue for the wedding ceremony and the reception. The Medieval Theme for the wedding was expressed with the guests seated in a spiral for the ceremony and then long tables as if in an old manor for the reception. We gave Megan the latitude to decorate the room/tables with the materials we had brought. Her artistic arrangements on the tables and in the vault highlighted the Medieval theme.Though this was a first time format for the hotel, the staff efficiently arranged the spiral and then reset the room for the reception. In addition to preparing the delicious meal, the chef added his own suggestions for the menu to incorporate the theme. The staff was proficient in serving the meal. After the reception, many of our guests joined us in the Alumni Room to \"party on.\" All went very smoothly and there is nothing we would change.\r\rThe Hotel - Since we are out-of-state, we came a few days early to prepare for the wedding. Our room was very well appointed and quite comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly and efficient. We had a question about how to hang the wedding gown to steam it. The person at the front desk asked the maintenance person who suggested using a luggage cart. Although he was ready to leave for the day, he took the time to bring the cart to our room with tablecloths to cover the base so as not to dirty the gown. The room attendant wished us well for the wedding. On the day of the wedding, our guests arrived before check-in time. The staff at the front desk assigned them rooms as soon as they were available so our guests could relax and freshen-up. Before the wedding, we had pictures taken in the lobby. The hotel staff was accommodating in handling the distraction by the photographers.\r\rThe Brunch - The morning after the wedding, we had a brunch for our guests in one of the meeting rooms.
