Upstate New York's All-Inclusive Wedding Resort
Gilbertsville Farmhouse is a dedicated wedding resort in upstate New York. We host 3-day weddings for up to 200 guests, with on-site lodging for 62. We are less than 4 hours from major cities like NYC, Boston, and Philadelphia. Our 125-acre luxury farm features 3 stunning barns, a dedicated after-party cocktail lounge, 31 designer lodging suites, a one-acre pond with an island gazebo, a hammock park, and a private beach. Our free-roaming animals offer a majestic background to your weekend wedding and to your photos. We offer unique entertainment like goat yoga and our resident beer burros (our donkey greets you after your ceremony with a saddle of beer). We have a commercial kitchen on-site and our own catering team that are experts at delivering restaurant quality food at mass scale. We provide arrival day breakfast, rehearsal dinner, breakfast Saturday, reception dinner, farewell brunch Sunday and endless snacks and non-alcoholic beverages throughout the entire weekend for guests staying on-site. Included in our site fee is our event planner who will work with you from booking day to your wedding day. They will make your planning process so easy, it will feel like you should be doing more work, but that is simply how easy we make it for you. Our event planner and experience team will be present on-site from the moment you arrive to execute your plan and attend to your every need so you can relax and be a guest at your own wedding.

Gilbertsville Farmhouse is such a beautiful venue, perfect for our little getaway weekend with family and friends! Planning my wedding here was such a privilege, being able to have the whole property for our guest’s was truly a blessing. Love, laughter and a life time of memories were created that weekend that I’ll never forget. Honestly, words don't do justice for how amazing this venue is, From the food being impeccable to every detail in between! Everyone talks about the crazy things that can go wrong when planning a wedding but truthfully that is because they didn’t have Brandon and the Gilbertsville staff! They were able to accommodate so many of our needs from food allergen accommodations to customized event details for the whole weekend! This venue’s atmosphere is one of kind!Brandon- Thank you from the bottom of our heart’s for making our weekend so special and beautiful! You truly went above and beyond throughout the whole weekend to make it unique to us. I also can not thank you enough for helping with the details from start to finish and not letting us sweat the small stuff, you’re heaven sent my friend! The Gilbertsville Farmhouse team is incredible! They made our family and friends feel like they were at home from helping them get around the farm to attending to their needs & just having fun with our guest! You guys rock, every detail was outstanding. Thank you for bringing my vision to life and more. Shoutout to Dakota, literally the best chef ever and the whole kitchen staff! The food was absolutely delicious and to die for. Never thought it could get better until the next plate was served. You did gods work and kept all the hangry people away and everyone was blown away! Absolutely killed it!! When I booked my wedding at Gilbertsville Farmhouse I was nervous, we’re big foodies and we were suppling our guest with meals all weekend long. When we had our food tasting in their beautiful hayloft barn we were able to customize our weekend and event meals down to each plate with Dakota and Brandon! The food is outstanding and everything is super fresh and flavorful.During our special getaway weekend we decided to kick it off by having some goat yoga fun! Vanessa and the whole goat yoga staff were fantastic! Really getting involved with all of our guest, There was not one person who wasnt laughing or obsessing over the baby goats. No better way to get the weekend rolling!I cannot recommend having your wedding at Gilbertsville Farmhouse enough!!!!! If you want something different but exclusive and not missing a single detail, this is it!! They make it easy and stress free planning. We had our wedding at Gilbertsville Farmhouse this past October and it was everything we dreamed of and more! From the gorgeous upstate New York scenery, to the incredibly attentive staff, at Gilbertsville you will be surrounded by beauty and love throughout the entire weekend. Our wedding coordinator, Brandon Woodcock, put so much time and effort into curating an experience that has left our friends and family with memories that will last a lifetime. We can’t tell you how many guests have told us since the wedding that it was the most unforgettably fun wedding that they have attended and much of that we can attribute directly to Gilbertsville and their staff. The on-property lodging is luxurious while still giving you that camping/farmhouse experience. The kitchen staff does such a phenomenal job at both making sure no-one leaves hungry and every palette is more than satisfied. The rest of the farmhouse staff will be there to make sure everything is taken care of without a hitch, no matter what inevitable hiccups may arise. We are so grateful that we were able to tie the knot at Gilbertsville Farmhouse and hope that any prospective wedding venue seekers see this review as their sign to visit and experience the magic for themselves.

Four months ago we had our absolute dream wedding at Gilbertsville Farmhouse!!! Words can not even begin to describe our experience!! We have not stopped hearing from our friends and family….”that is was the most incredible wedding they have ever been to” or how “magical” it was. My husband and I still talk about it almost daily, how we had the best time of our life!! We give the highest praise to Brandon Woodcock!!! He is the wedding coordinator at Gilbertsville Farmhouse. Brandon made everything possible!!! His attention to detail is like no other, he did not miss a beat!! Brandon made sure that our weekend went off without a hitch. He was meticulous in helping us plan and coordinate EVERY single detail! If we forgot anything, Brandon had our back and was there to figure it out!! His dedication and love for his job shined thru every thing he did to make our wedding absolutely perfect!!! Then….there was the rest of the staff who were also incredibly attentive and accommodating, ensuring that every detail was taken care of…Katie, Shelby and Lily. Two huge fan favorites were Peter and Eric, our golf cart drivers. Peter, Eric and Katie knew where everybody was, who needed what and really made sure all our family kids were safe, sound and were they needed to be!! The kids adored Peter and Eric!!! By the end of the weekend everyone there felt like part of our family!! The venue itself is stunning, with beautiful grounds and a picture-perfect backdrop for our ceremony. The catering by Dakota, Marcy and Roman was top-notch, and our guests are still raving about the delicious food. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you're looking for a magical place to say 'I do,' look no further than Gilbertsville Farmhouse. We got married there in this lifetime and we would get married there again in EVERY lifetime!!!!

We are still glowing months later from an unforgettable 3 days - a time where we experienced breathtaking views, enjoyed the most delicious food imaginable, and made lasting memories with friends and family that we will all carry with us forever. Every single attendee we spoke with during or since the big day have wholeheartedly agreed, our wedding at Gilbertsville Farmhouse was the absolute best wedding they have ever attended! The whole experience from top to bottom was magical, the staff was so accommodating and helped us every step of the way to ensure we got to properly enjoy and treasure our time on this beautiful property. In the time leading up to the wedding, Brandon helped keep us on track with planning and saw to it that our day(s) went off without a hitch, we truly are so grateful especially for his help! We feel really lucky that we were able to bring our vision to life and have the party of our lives with those that we love, in an atmosphere that was absolutely perfect for us. The animal friends running around the property, the gazebo within the lake, all of the unique farmhouse spaces and lodging, truly nowhere else could have ever been as perfect for us as Gilbertsville Farmhouse. Let's tell you how they came through...From start to finish, Sharon and her incredible team made us feel like we were part of their family. It was this sentiment that made us comfortable and excited to take the plunge with them. We knew early on that GFH would be the ones to help us achieve our dream wedding surrounded by all of our loved ones in the most special place reveling in the biggest moment of our lives.As we all know, planning a wedding can be quite the overwhelming task. Brandon, GFH's wedding coordinator (extraordinaire!) was such an instrumental part of our planning throughout the year. Every call, email, text never went unanswered and Brandon's tireless efforts and attention to detail really made the difference. He guided us, advocated for us and made sure that we were in control of our choices every step of the way. His willingness to go the extra mile to make our experience as seamless as possible was pivotal and we couldn't have done it without him.Everything else in between from the luxurious accommodations (OMG the sweetheart tent) to taking in the stunning grounds and fall foliage and playing with the animals (Duke and Maggie are the MVP's!) being carted around the property (shoutout to Katie and Peter for being the best chauffeurs and answering every walkie call making friendly conversations with everybody, you guys are real ones too!) and last but certainly not least, THE FOOD!! Chef Dakota is a master and every single dish was delicious to perfection. Our guests just could not stop raving about it all!! The entire experience was beyond our wildest dreams.All that to say, if you're looking for a place that isn't only breathtaking but also an inclusive and passionate team of people who'll let you be hands off at your wedding so that you could enjoy it and cherish all the priceless memories, Gilbertsville is the place to be. This spot is next level. I am so happy I found this place to have my wedding at! We got married in early October 2023 and we were hoping to have our wedding outside. It ended up raining on and off that day and although I was stressed the team at Gilbertsville was extremely prepared and still made the wedding go smoothly and look incredible. It was so much fun staying on the property and having my wedding party and family stay there. I didn't want the weekend to end we were having so much fun! Brandon and Katie were absolute champs and always there when you needed them. Any hiccups were immediately addressed and no one even knew. The FOOD was so delicious. They even made an off menu app for cocktail hour for me. Every meal from the welcome party, breakfast, cocktail hour, dinner, etc. was so yummy I am upset I didn't eat more! Besides the gorgeous views and venue they have built over the years - the people there make it. Everyone was so helpful and incredibly kind. I wish we could re-live that day over and over again!!

Do you want your wedding to be the best weekend ever for you AND your guests?Look no further, YOU HAVE FOUND YOUR WEDDING VENUE. Gilbertsville Farmhouse exceeded ALL of our expectations. We were seeking a weekend wedding experience that would allow us to spend quality time with those closest to us, and Gilbertsville was everything we were looking for AND MORE. Sharon WOWED us from the day we met her, and the planning process only got better from there. Brandon was exceptional to deal with and always had our back. They are exceedingly organized and leave very little for the couple to worry about, they also handle all of the coordination with your vendors leading into the wedding which was a huge weight lifted off our shoulders. THE BEST WEEKEND OF OUR ENTIRE LIVES.I’ve worked in the wedding industry for 8 years and I’ve SEEN IT ALL..... until Gilbertsville Farmhouse!!!!The second my fiancé and I got engaged, we knew that we wanted a wedding day that was extremely unique, a full weekend \"getaway\" experience, filled with amazing food, family, & friends... and WOW did Gilbertsville Farmhouse deliver!!! First off, Brandon is the BACKBONE of the show! He is so kind, sweet, thoughtful, detail-oriented, and WONDERFUL. From the second we met him, I knew we were in the best hands, and he surpassed my expectations by miles and miles (and I have VERY HIGH standards!). :)SHARON is the GOAT as well as the entire staff and family of the farm!!!The food is unbelievable. THE BEST WEEKEND OF OUR ENTIRE LIVES.I’ve worked in the wedding industry for 8 years and I’ve SEEN IT ALL..... until Gilbertsville Farmhouse!!!!The second my fiancé and I got engaged, we knew that we wanted a wedding day that was extremely unique, a full weekend \"getaway\" experience, filled with amazing food, family, & friends... and WOW did Gilbertsville Farmhouse deliver!!! First off, Brandon is the BACKBONE of the show! He is so kind, sweet, thoughtful, detail-oriented, and WONDERFUL. From the second we met him, I knew we were in the best hands, and he surpassed my expectations by miles and miles (and I have VERY HIGH standards!). :)SHARON is the GOAT as well as the entire staff and family of the farm!!!The food is unbelievable. Sharon and her team will help to create a weekend with you that is one you will never forget. Its been almost 2 months since our wedding at Glibertsville Farmhouse and I still don't even know where to begin. Let me start by saying it was nothing short of AMAZING. If you are a bride planning a wedding then you know that it is very hard to trust anyone, but from day one we met with the owner Sharon who convinced us that the farm \" runs on the motto: 'We Got You'. And she wasn't lying.Our wedding weekend was absolutely perfect. Even the communication up to the day was clear, concise and made me feel very comfortable. During the weekend every detail was flawlessly planned and executed, giving me the space to spend time with my family and other guests. The fact that it was 2 days long gave us time to make plenty of memories too. I want to highlight our wedding coordinator, Brandon Woodcock. It is very rare to see someone love their job so much as he does, and ALSO be Damn Good at it!! Every detail was thought through and he made sure that we had anything we needed at any time and exceeded our expectations. He seemed to have a way to always be right there the second you needed anything he would often anticipate my needs based on his experience and help to make sure that I always had food or drink in hand and space if you needed it. He is passionate, thoughtful and detail oriented. Without Brandon by our sides the wedding would not have been what it was. Even the details I didn't think of he did, and truly made my own vision something even more spectacular. By the end of the weekend he felt more like family than just our coordinator. In addition, our guests are still raving about the staff and how attentive they were. We hear anecdotes about how nothing was too big of an ask and even food allergies were handled with extreme care. And we can't forget about Katie. She ran that show. Katie found me a toothbrush 10 minutes before walking up the isle because I forgot to brush my teeth. She also perfectly helped coordinate with my dad who was in a wheelchair, making him her top priority and taking the burden of taking care of him off of my mom and the rest of the family so they too could enjoy the weekend. THE FOOD!!We ate like Kings and Queens the entire weekend. My taste buds will never be the same in the best way. The food fresh, creative and perfectly portioned. Each course was better than the last and I can't think of anything I'd change. If you are looking for a once in a lifetime, unique wedding of your dreams, do not think twice about booking Gilbertsville Farmhouse. We are still getting compliments to this day about how we had the best wedding they've ever been to and I am so happy that I will have these memories for a lifetime. When they say \"We Got You\

It was incredible being able to spend a weekend with our closest people! The food was AMAZING (no exaggeration, we had multiple guests come up to us commenting on how wonderful the food was), the team was so attentive and great to work with, and the goat yoga/ beer burro was such a rememberable experience. We left many of the details up to Brandon, the event manager/day of coordinator, and it was so liberating to just sit back and relax because we knew that the team had our backs. My husband and I got married at Gilbertsville Farmhouse in 7/1/23. We had all of our closest family and friends at Gilbertsville for the most incredible weekend celebration. I cannot recommend this venue enough- they provide the most unique and unforgettable weekend EXPERIENCE for you and your guests!!!Full disclosure, I planned my entire wedding weekend at Gilbertsville Farmhouse from out of state (Colorado!) and I did not physically see the grounds until I arrived for our welcome/rehearsal dinner day! I was so blown away by the beauty of it all that I cried. It is truly spectacular-- the pond, the rolling green fields, the mountains, all of the beautifully decorated and comfortable glamping tents and structures on site for our guests, the adorable farm animals!!! I was able to get away with planning from afar because the owner Sharon and head coordinator, Brandon Woodcock, are absolutely amazing. When they say they make it easy for their clients, they aren't kidding. Brandon was always available to answer questions, alleviate any anxiety that one might have prior to their wedding day AND ensured that everything was set up as envisioned. He communicated with all of our chosen vendors (florist, DJs, photographers, hair and make up artists, transportation etc.) to ensure everyone was on the same page, on time and ready to roll. Things could not have gone any smoother. I am an outdoor enthusiast and wedding photographer myself. I've attended hundreds of weddings as a photography vendor and have seen many beautiful farm and nature-inspired venues. My expectations were HIGH and Gilbertsville blew us away. Every single one of our guests were RAVING about our time at Gilbertsville, literally saying it was one of the best weekends of their lives. The food was so delicious and our guests raved about this as well. This place really has everything dialed so that couples and their guests can show up and just have the best time ever. Honestly, if you are contemplating this place and you aren't sure, I am here to tell you that this place is WORTH IT and one of the best wedding venues in New York State especially if you are an outdoorsy person or wanting to do something different for your wedding! BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE!!! Gilbertsville provides one of the most unique, high quality, and out of this world experiences. When they say they got you, they REALLY got you. My guests have not stopped raving about the best wedding ever. At my tasting I was overruled by my parents and fiancé on one of the sides (I really wanted Brussels sprouts). Well guess what? They made them special just for me as a surprise on my wedding day. These little touches every step of the way just blew my mind and made me so overjoyed.BRANDON is the best best best ever. He is so responsive, considerate and warm. He will be with you every step of the way to ensure your perfect vision comes to life. My wedding would have never been able to happen without him as there were A LOT of moving parts including an off-site church ceremony, over 180 guests and wild lighting production. He made sure all my vendors were taken care of, that we stayed on schedule and every little detail was executed perfectly. He genuinely became a friend through this process and I already miss him.THE FOOD!!!!!! Chef Dakota absolutely crushed it. You MUST get the tuna tartare on a wonton crisp for your cocktail hour. AND THE PASTA SALAD with the champagne vinaigrette. My bridesmaids loved it so much that we started calling ourselves the pasta salad gals (PSGs) which may become a permanent nick name. The slider bar was also out of this world. This is not wedding food, this is 5 star.KATIE the calming force that GETS it done! If you need anything, Katie not only gets it, but does so in record speed. It’s insanely impressive. Always a step ahead and a walkie call away.ALL THE STAFF are so attentive and KIND! All of my guests with dietary restrictions were insanely taken care of, being spotted out and delivered special food. The bartenders were friendly and made sure everyone was served promptly.SHARON the master mind of it all!!! She has created the most magical place in the entire world. My photos are insane and it’s because of her vision in making the property just beyond stunning. SOOOO much care and detail has been put into every design element and it shows. There is a back up plan for rain no matter what. We had to switch our welcome party spot within 15 minutes as a storm came and they did it! Then the next day they pivoted my cocktail hour to be where the welcome party was. I truly don’t know how they pulled off these logistics.I cannot thank Gilbertsville enough for the BEST WEEKEND EVER!!! My heart is forever grateful to them and their entire team. I am so sad to not be communicating and working with them anymore because they are just the best people ever. Don’t have any doubts. If you're considering a weekend wedding DO IT and do it at Gilbertsville Farmhouse. From the first day we toured the venue we knew it was exactly where we wanted to tie the knot. The ability to have your closest friends and family on site to spend the weekend with you was so amazing. They have so many activities and common areas so that every single person is able to have so much fun and feel comfortable. We had people sitting around a fire, playing volleyball, sitting on the beach, playing corn hole and working from home all in the same general area. They truly cater to whatever type of person you and your guests are. The glamping tents and suits are so much fun and different with such charm about them. Even your bougiest friend will have so much fun and be so comfortable in the tents. And if camping really isn't their thing, the farmhouse rooms are nicer than just about any hotel room you'll find. The weekend was an absolutely dream in every way. Everyone that works as staff is like family and work to make your weekend magical. They are so responsive to every need and request and are willing to do just about anything to make your weekend exactly as you want it. It is the most beautifully put together venue and speaks for itself, we brought close to no decorations and it was perfect. Sharon, Gina, Katie and George are so responsive to every need and willing to accomodate so much to make your perfect day. Shane is such an incredible chief and all of the food was amazing with so many things to choose from. The team pours their heart and soul into every detail of what they do and you can tell they truly love doing it. Gilbertsville is such a special place and I couldn't recommend it enough

My wife and I booked our spot at Gilbertsville Farmhouse almost two years prior to our wedding date. From our first tour, we knew that this was the venue for us. The option to house so many of our family and friends on-site was critical to us as all our guests were spread across the country/world. We appreciated their flexibility in planning our weekend- we ended up doing a welcome dessert/cocktail hour to be able to greet our off-site guests on Friday and it turned out beautifully! The catering/kitchen team really out-performed and all the food we had over the weekend was delicious, best wedding food ever! We had a few guests with particular allergies and Shane was awesome about making sure that they not only had something to eat at every meal but that it was clearly designated for them. The weekend of- the whole Gilbertsville Farmhouse crew really outdid themselves. Our guests were truly taken care of and everyone had a great and relaxing time. She was phenomenal with all the details and her suggestions really made the weekend flow smoothly. I will never have the words to accurately describe what our wedding weekend at Gilbertsville was like. To say it was a dream would be an understatement. From then on, the process leading up to our wedding was nothing short of pleasant and exciting. The team - Sharon and Gina - are extremely responsive and never make you feel like your questions are too small or trivial, they understand how important the day is to you and are in the process with you. Our tasting with Shane and his team was just another incredible day that solidified we made the right choice. I've been to plenty of weddings but Gilbertsville's food is so spectacular and nowhere near just the typical churned out wedding chicken and steak. Then our wedding weekend came and we never wanted it to end. The property itself it's just so incredible, even the adults were reverting to childhood when they saw all the animals and the glamping tents. Katie and George took such good care of us throughout the weekend and were always positive, happy, helpful and matched our vibe of just being in a good mood. I truly don't have enough good things to say about this place as a wedding, or the people who work here. HUGE shoutout to Gina, Sharon, Katie, George, Shane and everyone else who gave us a memory we'll never forget. HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE.

We booked Gilbertsville Farmhouse in June of 2019, for a July of 2020 wedding. At the time, we fell in love with the kittens in the barn, the spectacular beauty of the site and Aldo, one of the owner's, charms.Two pandemic postponements later, we finally had our magical dream wedding on 4/9/22 of this year. Gilbertsville Farmhouse has changed and grown a lot since we initially booked, but they were absolutely amazing, across the two years, of being supportive and accommodating regarding our original contract while also letting us take advantage of all the new services they offer. In terms of the sites and spaces, you will literally not find anything better:While we had initially planned on an outdoor wedding at their hilltop cathedral (absolutely gorgeous), rain led us to an indoor wedding in the milking barn. I didn't have a moment's regret at the shift, because the \"back-up\" space was so beautiful and romantic. They actually have a THIRD ceremony space option, as well (woodsy), for people who don't think two gorgeous options is enough.The accommodations are amazing. We had a small, intimate wedding, and all of our guests were able to stay on site between the suites, glamping suites and glamping tents. Each accommodations space is beautiful, tasteful, comfortable, and trendy. Our guests gathered and mingled in the suites common area, as well as under the honeymoon tent and by the bonfire in the glamping village. The outdoor spaces, including the animals, are to die for. You arrive on site and are greeted by a beautiful pond and sheep/alpacas roaming in a field. You are truly on a farm -- not just a barn wedding planted in the middle of a city or town. It is so, so beautiful at Gilbertsville.Finally (sort of--there are so many spaces I didn't fully experience in my weekend in Gilbertsville just because there is so much), the reception barn and the Hayloft (where \"extra\" meals and the rehearsal dinner was held) are amazing spaces. Beautiful, comfortable, rustic and chic.The FOOD was amazing:Full disclosure, we booked before they had the on-site catering, so we had a separate caterer for our rehearsal dinner/wedding.We did, however, have them cater the \"extra\" meals and our Sunday brunch. Everything they catered was phenomenal and delicious.The STAFF at Gilbertsville are also incredible:All the staff at Gilbertsville, in the two years prior to the wedding and especially during the weekend, did everything in their power to make everything go smoothly and reduce stress.The wedding weekend went off without a hitch, and that is because of the staff there.I highly, highly, highly recommend purchasing the Maggie in the Middle Package. It is MORE than worth it for everything it includes.Also, definitely take note of any recommendations Gilbertsville Staff provide. We did and were blown away by all of their recommendations. Final Recommendations:The Goat Yoga is totally worth it. We did it with our guests on Friday, and it was such a fun start to the weekend. The Goat Yoga staff are very relaxed, and the goats are adorable. It got everyone in a festive mood! Also--what other wedding venue has goat yoga?Our wedding was magical -- I can't stop talking about and dreaming about it. It was well worth the two year week. We will back to Gilbertsville -- for a retreat or whatever way we can sneak back in -- because we know, whatever they do, it will be a good time!

The moment we saw Gilbertsville’s website in the midst of the COVID pandemic, we knew that this was the place for us. We booked Gilbertsville site unseen and never regretted it for a second. The entire wedding weekend felt like a dream. Sharon, Aldo, and their team are so incredibly hard working and they genuinely care about every couple that they meet. They build relationships with you and they make sure that you don’t have a worry in the world the entire weekend. Katie and George were constantly making sure that everyone was happy and had everything they needed. They made sure that people were where they needed to be when they needed to be. Gina is one of the kindest people who bent over backwards every time we spoke during the planning process to create the weekend we had pictured in our heads. She truly wanted our vision to come to life, and it did. Any hiccup we had during the weekend, she handled it and already had fixed it before I knew there even was an issue. The food and drinks were amazing too - Chef Dan did a great job! We loved having our guests right there on site with us the whole weekend. It felt like we were at adult summer camp with all of the people we love most in the world, but instead of staying in tiny tents, we had the most beautiful and comfortable glamping tents! I relive the entire weekend pretty much daily, and I can’t wait to go back one day (hopefully soon!) for one of their couples retreats. I don’t think words can do this venue and their staff justice. It truly was the best weekend ever and the only regret is that I wish it could have lasted longer!!

The entire wedding weekend felt like a dream. Sharon, Aldo, and their team are so incredibly hard working and they genuinely care about every couple that they meet. They build relationships with you and they make sure that you don’t have a worry in the world the entire weekend. Katie and George were constantly making sure that everyone was happy and had everything they needed. They made sure that people were where they needed to be when they needed to be. Gina is one of the kindest people who bent over backwards every time we spoke during the planning process to create the weekend we had pictured in our heads. She truly wanted our vision to come to life, and it did. Any hiccup we had during the weekend, she handled it and already had fixed it before I knew there even was an issue. The food and drinks were amazing too - Chef Dan did a great job! We loved having our guests right there on site with us the whole weekend. It felt like we were at adult summer camp with all of the people we love most in the world, but instead of staying in tiny tents, we had the most beautiful and comfortable glamping tents! I relive the entire weekend pretty much daily, and I can’t wait to go back one day (hopefully soon!) for one of their couples retreats. I don’t think words can do this venue and their staff justice. It truly was the best weekend ever and the only regret is that I wish it could have lasted longer!!

The moment my husband and I stepped on the Gilbertsville property we knew it was where we were going to get married. It is truly a magical one of a kind place. From the down time in the hammocks, to saying i do on the hilltop, to dancing in the chandelier barn, this place has everything you could ever want! The venue is always changing and improving! What we booked was so much more incredible by the time our day came around and it was because of all the love and hard work Sharon, Aldo, and the whole crew put into making this venue so special. Katie their right hand lady is absolutely fabulous and so helpful! And Gina their event coordinator is so on top of emails and google drive. It helped me keep everything organized. We booked them before they added a kitchen so we didn’t get to experience the full offerings they have however we did use them for our morning after brunch which was delicious and the presentation was great. The glamping tents and farmhouse are absolutely spectacular and we were so thrilled to be able to stay on property with all of our closest friends and family. We could never imagine only having 1 day to celebrate such a special moment and gilbertsville gives you a whole weekend! Gilbertsville Farmhouse was everything we wanted in a wedding venue and a wedding weekend. We had been together as a couple for 14 years prior to finally making it official -- but all our guests agreed that this was well worth the wait! We wanted a place where all our friends and family could come together for the full weekend to celebrate, relax, and enjoy themselves in a beautiful natural setting -- and a place where we would have time to enjoy the small moments and spend casual time with our guests too without being too swept up in a hectic itinerary. Gilbertsville Farmhouse was the perfect place for this -- all the best elements of a farm, a summer camp, and a rural retreat rolled into one! -- and the venue team absolutely delivered on their promise to make it the Best Weekend Ever!I plan frequent events for my job, so as a bride I was especially prone to stressing over all the advance details and assuming that \"if you want it done right, you have to do it yourself\" -- but once we set foot onsite on Friday, I realized that the amazing team at Gilbertsville Farmhouse really did have everything covered and I truly COULD let myself step back and relax (even without a formal wedding planner or coordinator). Throughout the weekend, the venue team was always one step ahead, and ready to help at our elbow whenever needs arose. Everyone was flexible on special requests from our guests, and in one especially standout gesture, when one of our guests got stranded at the end of the night after confusion with his cab booking, Katie on the venue team offered to personally drive him back to his hotel to make sure he got home safe.Upstate New York is full of \"farm\" venues where the \"farm\" is lost under a glossy facade -- but Gilbertsville Farmhouse is a place that truly feels like a family farm, with guinea hens and alpacas casually wandering by across the lawn, ducks bedded down in the shade under the lounge chairs, and the big friendly farm dogs making the rounds to share love with the guests. It was such a joy to have 60 of our immediate family and friends staying onsite with us all weekend in the Farmhouse Suites and Glamping Village to enjoy those quiet farm moments. We had plenty of down time to spend with these guests over Rehearsal Dinner and Brunch in the Hayloft, the evening bonfires in the Glamping Village, and early morning coffee watching the mist rise over the lake -- and then once our offsite guests arrived on Saturday for the ceremony itself and the reception, we had more time to spend with them and could ensure we didn't miss anyone in the rush. Looking back afterward, we realized that (even with 125 guests) we as the bride and groom got to spend meaningful time with every single person -- how often does that happen at any wedding???Although we were a self-funded couple with a tight wedding budget, the full weekend experience at Gilbertsville Farmhouse was worth every penny -- as was the GOAT package! (Do NOT get married at Gilbertsville Farmhouse without taking advantage of the Goat Yoga, the Hay Wagon Ride, the Beer Burro, and the After Party Lounge!) Our weekend wedding event at Gilbertsville Farmhouse was absolutely magical. Goat yoga, tacos, glamping, campfires with spiked cider - it was everything we wanted and more. Sharon and Gina were an absolute pleasure to work with during the planning phase. We were one of many couples who decided to postpone our event due to COVID – everyone at Gilbertsville was accessible, understanding, and very helpful during that process. Based on our previous meetings, I knew our weekend would be amazing, and every step of the way, their team managed to exceed our expectations. They handled everything, leaving me and my husband to enjoy time with the people we love. Our guests had a wonderful time, and we heard over and over again about the kindness of the staff, the beauty of the space, and how personal and authentic the event felt. Gina executed our vision perfectly, with thoughtful and gorgeous design touches. The food was delicious all weekend. When we first caught a glimpse of the charcuterie board, a ray of sunlight came through the window and it provoked religious feelings. Katie was absolutely everywhere, taking care of things we had not even thought to ask for. The entire staff seemed invested in their work and sincerely happy to be doing it, which added to the joy of the weekend. This was the best experience I could imagine and if you are thinking about this venue, just do it. We will certainly be back for one of their couples retreats in the future.

After postponing and having to cancel our destination wedding, we found Gilbertsville Farmhouse. My oh, oh my, what a stunning venue and the best decision we made to celebrate our wedding! It was the perfect wedding getaway with our closest family and friends. Gilbertsville is the true definition of rustic glam. The attention to detail at this venue begins the second you set foot on site. From the barn to the rooms, the food, everything is spectacular. The photo opportunities are plentiful to get fantastic shots with a lot of different backgrounds and farm animals. YES, farm animals! The owner Sharon, our wedding coordinator Gina, and the entire staff were excellent and helpful every step of the way. Overall, Gilbertsville Farmhouse exceeded our expectations, and we recommend it to all our engaged friends.

We had already been looking forward to our “best weekend ever” what seems like an eternity ago. But then 2020, and blah blah blah, anyway…Then comes July 2021 and we and our guests had an absolutely spectacular time. From the moment everyone approached the property on Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon when we and our parents had a private moment to reflect and pack the car, everything at Gilbertsville Farmhouse is advertised- Best weekend ever. All the on-site lodging is comfortable and unique and our we really enjoyed bringing our family and friends together for a longer time than just the usual 6-hour ceremony & reception. Katie, George, and the GFH staff were zipping around the property the day of our wedding, so we were a Wally-talky away from help or transportation. It was raining during goat yoga, but taking umbrellas to the tin-roofed barn filled with baby kittens and their parents, llamas, and chickens made it more adventurous; it ALMOST rained during our ceremony, but luckily GFH worked something out and the clouds made an awesome backdrop for our ceremony on the hill. Lastly, once we arrived, everything seemed to happen without us needing to check in or inquire, from rooms being cleared for meals and events, to campfires being started, and vendors being directed and given walk-in talkies. Thank you to the Boustanis and everyone that made our weekend awesome.

From the moment you step foot onto the Gilbertsville property, you have the entire team doing everything they can ensure you and your guests have the most incredible weekend. The group of people Sharon has on her team are THE hardest workers I have ever met. They are people who HUSTLE and they care about every couple so much. You can feel it. I am beyond impressed and in awe of the weekend they were able to pull off to give my husband and me the wedding we always talked about having. I only wish it could have lasted longer - I seriously don’t know how people have a one day wedding after experiencing this! The food was amazing. The venue was amazing. The live band they recommended was amazing. And the photographer was BEYOND amazing. Listen, Victoria (our photographer) is Sharon’s (venue owner) daughter. But this isn’t like a “oh my daughter can take your photos she’s pretty good” kind of thing. It’s actually a mistake if you don’t have her capture your wedding weekend at this venue. She is TALENTED and she knows this venue like the back of her hand. She knows all the greatest shots, where the light is the best, and she is obviously close with the Gilbertsville staff, so she was able to perfectly execute and coordinate our day! Plus you don’t have to pay travel fees **wink wink**. Having your wedding here is the best decision you can make. You and your wedding guests will be talking about this for years to come.

If you have every dreamed of a beautiful farm wedding, Gilbertville is the place to have it! The reception barn is insane how beautiful it is, the glamping village is awesome and so much fun, and the property as a whole is so beautiful. The staff are super helpful and friendly, and always there when you need them, all weekend long! Our guests gushed over all the cute animals, and we kept hearing over and over how this was the most amazing wedding venue they had ever been to! It is so worth it to be here for the biggest day of your life, and I would recommend Gilbertsville until I am blue in the face! I wish we could do it all again.

The reception barn is insane how beautiful it is, the glamping village is awesome and so much fun, and the property as a whole is so beautiful. The staff are super helpful and friendly, and always there when you need them, all weekend long! Our guests gushed over all the cute animals, and we kept hearing over and over how this was the most amazing wedding venue they had ever been to! It is so worth it to be here for the biggest day of your life, and I would recommend Gilbertsville until I am blue in the face! I wish we could do it all again.

Like many couples who were planning on getting married in 2020, we had to drastically change and cancel our plans - several times - in order to make sure we were being practical, safe and realistic to support love in the time of COVID-19. We knew we did the right thing, but couldn't help but feel let down...the wedding we were so excited for was cancelled and we had no idea how to move forward.Enter Sharon Boustani and the team at Gilbertsville Farmhouse. From the first phone call with Sharon, we knew we were in the very best hands. Whereas many wedding venues we spoke with treated us like a numbered entity with no interest in getting to know who we are, Sharon took the time to get to know us, let us totally vent about how frustrated we were, and came up with a wedding plan that made our original plan seem just so 'average' in comparison.We weren't able to visit the site ahead of our wedding, but working with Sharon over the phone was so wonderful. She was able to recommend the best local vendors and assured us that she would take care of everything as soon as we arrived. Wedding planning is notorious for being stressful, but when you layer in global pandemic and pulling together an event in a month's time...let's just say that without Sharon's guidance and patience, I am not sure what I would have done!We were very fortunate to be able to take advantage of the weekend wedding specials Gilbertsville Farmhouse offered and were able to spend our wedding weekend with our closest friends and family. We could not believe how stunning the grounds were - seriously, the pictures are beautiful but it's almost unreal seeing it in person! - and watching our guests' expression as they pulled in was such a thrill. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the entire layout is so functional. Every guest had their own space to relax and unwind, but there were plenty of areas for us to celebrate as a group, too. The ceremony itself was perfectly coordinated. You can tell that the staff absolutely love what they do and take such pride in making sure every moment is perfectly planned and choreographed.Specifically as it relates to working with Gilbertsville Farmhouse during the COVID-19 pandemic, we were so impressed with the safety protocols and precautions they put into place. Everyone wore a mask, distanced themselves and had plenty of hand sanitizer available. We were extremely comfortable and felt that the staff went above and beyond in making sure everyone was safe.Before we departed on Sunday morning, our group was already discussing the next event we would be able to celebrate at GF. It's three and a half hours away, but we would gladly make the trip to be able to have another amazing weekend there! Gilbertsville Farmhouse provided the magical, glamorous, fantasy farm wedding of my dreams and so much more! My husband and I are veterinarians so we knew we wanted a farm wedding with as many animals as possible, including our own. GF looked perfect! I compared every other venue to it and no other venue seemed to offer what they could - a weekend-long wedding, a picturesque ceremony, a glamorous barn reception, cocktail hour in a milking barn, glamping for the wedding party, AND goat yoga! What more could you want? We visited during a snowstorm and Sharon and Aldo were so enthusiastic about their farm and you can tell that they put their whole hearts into it. We stood at the ceremony alter site together, knee deep in the snow, staring at the beautiful backdrop, and we both knew that this is where we had to get married. It was the first and last venue that we visited. While planning, Sharon was very helpful and responsive by email and phone. They provided lists of vendors, accomodations, and information. On Friday before the wedding, my family, pets, and wedding party all drove to the venue. We were blessed with perfect weather and everyone was stunned by the beauty of the farm. After cuddling with some puppies and goats, we unpacked in our perfectly set up glamping tents and farmhouse rooms. Having room for forty people to stay at the farm meant we could have everyone we loved most with us for the entire weekend. More family arrived for the rehearsal dinner that evening in the rustic-chic milking parlor. Later that evening we had a bonfire set at the glamping tents and the wedding crew partied into the late night while family settled in at the farmhouse. The next morning I had my ladies up early for a misty morning goat yoga session with surprise PUPPIES! It was such a fun way to start the exciting day and to ease my nerves. The women got ready in the farmhouse which has a large communal space, while the groomsmen got ready at the glamping tents. Our first look in the wooded area felt so intimate and personal. The ceremony was so breathtaking walking up the hill to the site. Everyone comfortably fit in the church pews and the whole set up was a truly a dream. Cocktail hour was in the milking parlor which was decorated perfectly with so many extra touches that I didn't need to add anything! After cocktail hour, we welcomed our guests into the main barn with a receiving line. The evening flowed flawlessly from there. The barn was glamorous and well decorated with gorgeous chandeliers, a large bar, wide open doors with flowing drapery, and a beautifully decorated fireplace. I added a lot of florals, but even with minimal décor and flowers, it would be spectacular. As day turned to night the dancing started, another bonfire was lit on the patio, and we had a fabulous sparkler exit. The after party was held in the smaller room off of the milking parlor with a rustic-chic nightclub vibe. It was the perfect end to the evening, I couldn't feel my feet from all the dancing, and my heart was so full! Everyone had such a great time and I wish I could do it all over again. I still get so many compliments from guests about how amazing, beautiful, and fun the venue was, how kind and hardworking the employees were, and what a lovely time they had. I also still get so many comments on my gorgeous wedding photos and video with people asking me where my venue is. Well, I'll tell you where it is. It's Gilbertsville Farmhouse and IT IS A DREAM!

When we first got engaged, GF was the last venue we looked at after a variety of farms, farm-to-table establishments, etc. that didn't quite feel like us. When we arrived in the Butternut Valley and the farm appeared at the top of the hill, we both had a great feeling immediately. Upon meeting Sharon who treated us like family, we knew this was the venue for us. Needless to say, we got married in October 2019 and our family/friends are still raving about how amazing and unique our wedding weekend was.Everything about the venue is stunning and truly goes without saying that Sharon & her family/team take extreme pride in every detail that goes into your wedding. The property really felt like ours for the weekend and while we felt the support from Katie (who is truly an angel) and other staff that weekend, we didn't feel like intruders or uncomfortable to do things the way we wanted.The weekend really went off without a hitch and we cannot thank Katie and Sharon enough for making this happen! Everything from the rehearsal dinner in the dairy barn, to vendor deliveries, to even finding my cellphone after what is inevitably a chaotic weekend, Katie and Sharon were THERE for it. If you are looking for a unique weekend, if you enjoy the beauty of the outdoors but comfort of knowing you have a real bathroom to use (LOL) and want to feel like the weekend is yours for celebrating your love, we can't recommend Gilbertsville Farmhouse enough. We can't wait to go back for retreats and really will hold this place with such a tender place in our hearts forever.

While looking for a venue for our rustic themed wedding, we almost felt defeated because we couldn't find the perfect one. We stumbled upon Gilbertsville Farmhouse as a venue on TheKnot. We went for a Sunday tour and as Sharon was describing the beautiful land that she calls home and what the vision of her weddings were we instantly fell in love with the venue. We placed our deposit a few days later. Working with Sharon and her husband was smooth and easy. We had questions leading up to the big day and she was able to respond in reasonable time. When it came to the big day Katie was there to greet us and welcome us to our weekend wedding. She helped guide our parents to where things needed to be dropped off and placed. Running the rehearsal Katie was amazing helping everyone get in place and kept everything running smoothly. We enjoyed a relaxing and cute goat/puppy yoga before the rehearsal which we highly recommend (sorry they no longer have puppies now, but hopefully will have more soon). Exploring the venue was my favorite part going to the hammock park, hanging out with family playing yard games, and more. When it came to our big day Sharon was there in the morning to help the bride (myself) and golf carting some of the bridal party to the farmhouse suites early in the morning. Katie was so welcoming also with our guests when they arrived. Everything was perfect and exactly how we imagined our big day. Another plus was that Sharon, her husband, and Katie helped clean up after the reception with the parents of the couple. We are so thankful for the staff and owners of Gilbertsville. We are so blessed and thankful for everything you all did to let us have our perfect day! So thank you! Highly highly highly recommend using this wedding venue especially for a weekend wedding!

My husband and I started the band for our own wedding, and run it together - so we were really excited to play at the Gilbertsville Farmhouse - another family-owned business!! We had the pleasure of working with Gilbertsville Farmhouse for the for the first time in October 2019, and they are just a joy to work with! Upon arrival, we were greeted by Sharon, the owner, and Katie, one of their employees. We collaborated on the best place for the band to set up given the couple's preferences, then got to work setting up! Sharon and her team were so helpful throughout the entire event, from giving us rides in the golf cart to and from the ceremony site with all of our equipment, to ensuring we were warm during our quick dinner break on a VERY cold day by turning on the pellet stove for the band. They were even thoughtful enough to dim the lights in the barn as the party progressed, and were constantly considerate of the vibe and flow of the night. We got to see firsthand how thoughtful Sharon and her staff are about not only the couples' happiness, but the happiness and comfort of the vendors involved. This really says a lot about the family and the Gilberstville Farmhouse - because they understand that a happy vendor team can create a little extra magic! ;)And we can't go without saying that every single inch of the property is GORGEOUS. We knew Gilbertsville Farmhouse needed to be our wedding venue the second we stepped foot on their insanely beautiful farm. It's truly the most unique and stunning venue I've ever seen. The owners Sharon and Aldo, along with their awesome staff (shout out to Katie and Vanessa!), are nothing short of a dream to work with. They are constantly looking for ways to improve, and add things to make their venue even better than it already is. The drive they have to be the best at what they do is amazing, and it shows. Having the venue for the entire weekend was SO fun, and our guests loved hanging out on the property, taking part in goat yoga and interacting with all the animals (especially Duke and Maggie!) We even had a guest take home one of their barn kittens. Probably the best wedding favor ever! We had the total run of the farm while we were there, and really felt like we were at home — But if we needed literally anything, there was always someone there to jump in at a moment's notice.Our guests could not stop saying how beautiful unique the venue was and how much fun they had. We really really wanted to get married out on the hill, but the weather was just not cooperating with us, and we had our ceremony in the milking barn. It was such a blessing in disguise. The ceremony was so beautiful and intimate. I wouldn't have changed a thing about it.Basically if you have any reservations about getting married about Gilbertsville Farmhouse - stop and book your wedding immediately!!! Their team is top notch, the venue is stunning, the entire experience feels like something out of a dream.

We feel so lucky to be among the couples married at Gilbertsville Farmhouse! As we toured the venue, it was love at first sight. From the scenic views, to the beautifully restored milking parlor & barn, down to the impeccably designed farmhouse & glamping tents. Everything about this venue had us and our guests enamored. Being able to share the property with our bridal party all weekend only added to the magic. Not to mention, there’s a hammock park, fire pits, and goat yoga to be enjoyed! The owners and staff of Gilbertsville Farmhouse were a delight to work with. They were helpful and attentive, making sure we were worry-free. It is easy to tell they’ve put a lot of heart into creating this unique wedding experience. With that being said, Gilbertsville Farmhouse will always have a special place in ours!

We feel so lucky to be among the couples married at Gilbertsville Farmhouse! As we toured the venue, it was love at first sight. From the scenic views, to the beautifully restored milking parlor & barn, down to the impeccably designed farmhouse & glamping tents. Everything about this venue had us and our guests enamored. Being able to share the property with our bridal party all weekend only added to the magic. Not to mention, there’s a hammock park, fire pits, and goat yoga to be enjoyed! The owners and staff of Gilbertsville Farmhouse were a delight to work with. They were helpful and attentive, making sure we were worry-free. It is easy to tell they’ve put a lot of heart into creating this unique wedding experience. With that being said, Gilbertsville Farmhouse will always have a special place in ours!

Gilbertsville Farmhouse was the absolute dream of a venue. We wanted to create an experience for our closest friends and family that was uniquely special and memorable, and this was it. We looked at quite a few venues for our big day but Gilbertsville Farmhouse won us over pretty quickly – as soon as we arrived, the farm's sweet animals were there to welcome us. From there, we met Sharon, whose vibe we instantly connected with! Even though it was raining throughout our venue tour, we walked into the misty forest and imagined getting married beneath the trees and that was it. The place, the experience, and the people are what make this place so amazing. Our guests keep telling us how much they loved the glamping tents, and getting to spend a weekend together in the outdoors. Coming from NYC we knew Sharon 'got' us and she was incredibly accommodating throughout the entire planning process. We were so thrilled with our decision to get married at Gilbertsville Farmhouse and we wish we could marry each other there over and over again. <3 Maybe for our 10 year we'll do something there!!

If you are looking for a venue that is different from your typical wedding and will stand out among your guests, then look no further. Even though Gilbertsville Farmhouse was the first and only venue that we checked out, we knew immediately that it was the place for us. When we met Sharon and her family, and she showed us around the grounds, we fell in love instantly. From the glamping tents, to the lake, the hammock park, the barn packed with goats and loads of other animals, there was never a dull moment for our guests. The pews and arbor set on top of the hill provide the perfect backdrop for a picturesque wedding ceremony and the barn the perfect ceremony. Even though our wedding date brought record high temperatures with near triple digit readings, it did not detract from the fun at all, and in fact even added to the entertainment with spontaneous dips in the lake. Sharon and her staff were amazing in accommodating all of our guests needs the entire weekend. Sharon's assistant Katie worked tirelessly from the moment we arrived Friday morning, to the minute we left on Sunday. I honestly do not think she slept or took a break because every time we looked up or needed anything, she was right there to assist. Looking back now after a few months, this was definitely the best weekend of our lives, and we cannot wait to go back for a glamping weekend and some goat yoga!

From the moment I stepped onto Gilbertsville Farmhouse property I was in love. As soon as we met Sharon and Katie on the tour, I was sure this was my dream wedding venue. Let's be serious, they had me at goat yoga. Besides the barn and the property being an absolute dream, your favorite people get to stay there with you all weekend. The glamping tents are so gorgeous that even my camping-phobic friends wanted to permanently become Gilbertsville tent residents. The Friday afternoon goat yoga was the perfect way to kick off the weekend. Our faces hurt from so much smiling and laughing. Pure joy. Our guests at the farm enjoyed lounging in the hammock park and all the farm animals. The schedule is loose and relaxing. No stress. The wedding day itself went incredibly smooth (and we had so much fun!) with Katie, Sharon, and her family keeping everything on schedule and adding so many special touches. My mom had a stroke a few weeks before our wedding and Sharon's kids drove her around on a golf cart all day so she didn't miss a thing. I never worried or stressed for a minute that whole weekend. I'm a NYC wedding photographer at 40+ weddings a year. This is far beyond what I see at any venue. They take care of you like you are family. We can't imagine having spent this very important day of our lives anywhere else.

Where to even begin? I pulled the trigger on booking this venue without even seeing it in person, due to living in San Diego and needing our wedding to be in Upstate NY. We wanted to move quickly, and after researching a lot of venues in the nearby areas, Gilbertsville really stood out. They offered a lot of what we needed (the ability to house guests from out of town & family, outdoor option for the ceremony, full weekend festivities) at a pretty reasonable cost after doing the price comparisons. When I called and talked to Sharon for the first time, she let me know that only one date was still available that year and it just happened to be exactly the weekend we had been hoping for in the fall. It felt like serendipity and Sharon made me feel really good about pulling the trigger sight unseen. When I was finally able to see the venue, many months afterwards, I was blown away. They say that the venue is more beautiful in person than in all the gorgeous photos and it's really true! I felt ecstatic over our decision and was immediately able to imagine my dream wedding in that space. The weekend itself was like a fairytale dream come true. Sharon and her family made my friends and family feel so welcome. They really know what they are doing too. I was worried about all the little things, but they have an answer and a solution to everything. We were able to add our own touches to the wedding and the venue and they were open about everything. On the day of the wedding they had everyone hard at work helping set up and get everyone around. It ran like a well oiled machine despite all the personal touches we added. And I have to give a huge shout out to Katie, Sharon's right hand, who worked nonstop all weekend fulfilling all of our desires. She was somehow both very present and also very much behind the scenes. Her presence made me feel very grounded on the day of the wedding, when everything felt like a blur. I would see Katie and just know that everything was in order.I can't say enough positive things about Gilbertsville. All the guests that came, that stayed in the tents and all the family, would not stop raving about the venue and the people behind it. Go to them if you really want to have the wedding of your dreams without any of the worries.

When we started planning a wedding we had two main goals. We wanted to be a little \"out-doorsy\" and get married in a field out in the countryside, and have all of our friends and family nearby without too much shuttling around. Gilbertsville was definitely the best choice we could have made. The venue itself combines a perfect balance of a home away from home feeling, a big scoop of rustic farm-life, and topped with the gorgeous accents of someone with a more glamorous design eye. Unfortunately it was raining for the majority of our wedding day, which meant that we weren't married at the top of the hill like we originally planned, however, having the ceremony in the milk barn turned out even better than we thought it would be. That's part of the vanue's appeal. There were many options, and back-up options, and all of them were better and more beautiful than the last. Sharron and Katie have really thought of everything, and if it's something new to them, they'll figure out how to make it work so that you're weekend is everything you hoped it would be. All of our wedding party that stayed on-site were shocked at how cool the glampsites were and how the convenience of all being together, at essentially a little retreat, made the whole experience less pressured for time and overall more relaxing. It didn't feel like our wedding was just the few hours of ceremony and reception. It felt more like it was an entire wedding weekend getaway. All of our guests raved about the aesthetics of the venue and loved the hospitality of Sharron and Katie. We still can't think of anything that we would have changed, even with the weather. Everything went perfectly, beautifully, and was just an all-around enjoyable time. We really couldn't ask for anything more.

Throughout the planning process, they were easy going and flexible, allowing us to craft our wedding day vision into a reality. They worked with us to ensure that it was the WEEKEND of our dreams. People can't stop raving about how it was the BEST WEDDING they've EVER been to! That wouldn't be true if it wasn't at Gilbertsville Farmhouse. The place just truly keeps getting better. From the antique church pews, to the chandeliers in the barn, to the glamp tents, NOTHING COMPARES! If you're looking for a truly unique, romantic, and enjoyable wedding venue that you and all your guests will ALWAYS REMEMBER, this is the place to do it!

I know my friends and family would follow me anywhere but leading up to our big day I was asked repeatedly, in various forms of niceties, \"why are you making us travel so far?\" To which I would simply reply, \"You'll see.\" I guarantee that your breathe will be taken away as soon as you step foot on Gilbertsville Farmhouse's property, as it was for all of my guests in August 2016. To say that the grounds are stunning is a severe understatement.But Gilbertsville is so much more than a beautiful location, the people who own and work there truly make this venue the special place that it is. No request was too small or too grand, they worked hard to make our special day something more than we could have ever dreamed. For instance, I had wanted sunflowers at the rehearsal dinner to decorate the tables. You know when a bride gets a vision stuck in her head and suddenly that is the most important detail in the world ( hey, we all have our non-stellar moments)...well, they weren't going to make the four-hour drive from our home to the venue and where is a farm stand when you need one?! Katie, not only thought of a friend of hers who had sunflowers but insisted that she run and pick them up for us so that we didn't get lost in the hills the day before our wedding. That is just one small instance where the Gilbertsville family went above and beyond the call of duty and left a lasting impression on our hearts.We didn't want a cookie-cutter wedding, we wanted an experience for ourselves and all of our guests and that is exactly what we received. There is no scorecard or rating that could accurately describe the fabulousness that is Gilbertsville. You just have to go and experience it for yourself. We could not imagine a better way to start off the greatest adventure of our lives.

Where do I begin? Gilbertsville Farmhouse is DROP DEAD GORGEOUS!!! We had our wedding there in September and it was everything we could’ve imagined. A blank slate to customize your day as you wish, but not much is needed because the venue and the grounds are beyond beautiful and speak for themselves. The glamping tents are one of the best parts of the venue. All of our bridal party/family were able to spend the weekend with us. EVERY single person that attended our wedding said that it was one of, if not, the best weddings they have ever been to; the beauty of the main barn, the rustic feel of the milk barn, the freshly groomed grass, the ceremony site, the laid back feeling of the whole event, etc...We cannot agree more!!! We loved everything the venue had to offer, especially the owners. Sharon and her family were so helpful and welcoming. They helped make our day as perfect as it was. If you only look at one place to book your wedding like we did, the Gilbertsville Farmhouse must be it!! Thanks for such an amazing, memorable experience!!!

One of the best, most unique things about Gilbertsville, is that it is somehow simultaneously filled with it's own personality- it's \"plug and play\" as you can kind of just bring your friends and family and have a ball, yet it is also highly customizable. Sharon effortlessly makes the space perfectly \"down home\" comfortable yet beyond \"instagram worthy\" (a comment we've heard over and over about our wedding!) I felt close to both sides of my \"roots\" - part PBR-slurping backyard fire pit party girl with an outdoorsy fiance, and part fashion-loving NYC woman with a queens-bred future husband. We were sold, and never looked back (Tired brides rejoice!)Something to note about the land and location: As far as vendor options, Gilbertsville is (wonderfully) fairly remote. Be sure to fully consider guest transportation pricing or availability, as well as the cost of \"shipping in\" vendors. We happily but potentially cost-prohibitively paid for travel for several of our NYC-based and Hudson valley-based vendors. Especially New York City girls- Think about your MUAs, florists+photographers, as the style of more remote vendors may not be the same style as you'd find in the city. While these things can require a bit more legwork on the front end, on the back end, blending our City vendors with our Remote vendors+location created such a great experience. Pulling up to Gilbertsville after a long drive in the mountains on the weekend of our wedding, breathing in the air and feeling free from the frenzy of the city, was a feeling I'll never forget.One of the things that makes all these things I've mentioned \"work\" so wonderfully is the Boustani family (and extended family- love ya, Katie!). Even if the actual, incredibly breathtaking and wonderful spaces of the property weren't perfect, even if the barn wasn't the absolute best place to throw a bonfire and chandelier-filled fiesta of love, even if so many things didn't come ready made easy, effortlessly coordinated or provided by Sharon, we would want to have our wedding at Gilbertsville simply because of the Boustanis. Their creativity, patience, kindness, expertise, gut intuition for all-things-hosting, and extreme dedication were worth every penny.Story time: My Kesha-iest of bridesmaids had one too many tequila shots, and ended up \"falling asleep\" on a couch located in the barn. For the first time ever, they moved some tables around, and DROVE A GOLF CART into the barn in order to back up the golf toward toward my friend as my other bridesmaids lovingly rolled her into the back of it, and brought her up to the cabin village to be tucked in safely away from a slept-terribly-wrong backache (especially thoughtful as she had a 20 hr. flight to Australia the next day). As far as I could tell hearing the stories the next morning, they were enjoying the humor of the situation as much as everyone else- jolly and just doing a freaking phenomenal mega-watt rock star job, laughing and being patient along the way. A wedding is such a huge, faceted team effort. You really cannot ask for better people to celebrate alongside you, as you ALL pull off such a wonderful once-in-a-lifetime celebration-blowout together. I will recommend Gilberstville farmhouse and really any adventures the Boustanis set their sights on, with my whole heart to anyone and everyone who will listen. This is more than a hidden gem, my guess is that it's becoming a New York-area wedding-event-getaway-adventure-destination legend.

We had the loveliest wedding at Gilbertsville Farmhouse. It was such an amazing experience for myself, groom, glampers and guests. Sharon and her family are amazing and made sure we had an amazing wedding weekend.The property is beautiful; it includes 10 glamping tents, and house that selected guests can stay for their wedding weekend. We got married on a beautiful hilltop, enjoyed the milking parlor for the rehearsal dinner and cocktail hour and had our reception in the glamorous barn. Our wedding was almost a month ago and our guests are still raving about it. The property was everything I dreamt of for a wedding and so much more.

This place has everything you can ask for - beautiful backdrop for a magical ceremony, a gorgeous large barn for the reception, and lots of space for family and close friends to stay with you right on the property all weekend long.I can't rave enough about this family run venue! Our wedding was a little over a year ago and I still get giddy every time I think about what a perfect weekend it was. Sharon was incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process, and particularly helpful during the weekend. She and her husband were there every step of the way and even their adorable children helped out carting me and my guests around in golf carts. The barn needed very little decorating since it is already full of quaint, old farm decor - and the chandeliers are magical! It fit our 100 person guest list very comfortably with plenty of room for dancing. The attached milk barn added even more charm with it's twinkling string lights, hay bales, and cute decorative details in every corner. But, to be honest, I think my favorite part were the glamping tents - my friends still talk about how awesome it was to enjoy s'mores and drinks by the fire each night and sleep in their own uniquely decorated tent with a super comfy bed, soft lighting, and little wood burning stove. Thank you, Sharon and fam for giving us the perfect wedding weekend!

It's been a little over a year since my wedding and I still get complements on my big day! The Gilbertsville Farmhouse was the absolute PERFECT venue for us. We are huge animal lovers so to be allowed to have our own dogs (and 3 wk old bottle feed kitten) with us on our big day was a dream come true. The icing on the cake? It's a real farm with chickens, ducks, turkeys, goats and TIGGER the world's most amazing barn cat! Sharon, Aldo and their kids made us feel right at home. They were there when we needed them but didn't hover over us while we did our thing. They were the perfect hosts! Several times I've had people tell me my wedding pictures look straight out of Pinterest. I couldn't think of a better compliment. The glamping tents were amazing and a great way to feel far away after the hustle and bustle of the ceremony day! If I could give the Gilbertsville Farmhouse 100 stars I would!

Beautiful! Stunning! Amazing! Spectacular! These are just a few words to describe the Gilbertsville Farmhouse and the amazing family that runs it. My husband and I got married there a year ago in July and it was truly more than anything we could have dreamed of. Sharon and her family and staff made sure every last detail was taken care of. They were kind, accomodating and made us feel like we were part of their family. The morning of our outdoor ceremony it poured!!! Sharon did all she could to help us reorganize things and keep everything in the barn so it wouldn't get wet. When it was still raining for our ceremony my husband and I decided to go for it. So what if we get a little wet! Well we did. But luckily Sharon swooped in with umbrellas for our guests. She truly thought of everything. At our cocktail hour they turned on the outdoor patio heaters and everyone dried off and danced the night away. We cannot speak highly enough of the Boustiani family and this beautiful venue. We are due with a baby girl in 5 weeks and we plan on bringing Rayne to meet the whole family (animals and all) and see the beautiful property. Oh and the glamping tents and Farmhouse are incredible!!! Family and friends are still talking about our wedding and how beautiful it was.

The Gilbertsville Farmhouse is a DREAM wedding venue. We had an unbelievable wedding weekend- it was 3 wonderful days and every last detail was looked after by Sharon and her incredible staff and family. We really couldn't be happier. The entire wedding party and lots of our friends got to enjoy the glamping tents - we had so much fun by the bon fire and everyone slept great! The ceremony and reception were unparalleled - I've been to barn weddings before, but nothing like this venue. Friends have since told me it was the most beautiful wedding they've ever been to. There are endless beautiful details that come with the venue, so we barely had to do anything in terms of decorations. We had a BBQ reception dinner in the milk barn the night before the wedding followed by a bon fire for the guests. The next day, due to rain, we got married in the milk barn and had the reception in the barn, followed by sparklers and another epic bon fire. The following morning we had a catered breakfast. All throughout Sharon, her kids and staff were attentive to our every need and everything ran without a hitch. I couldn't recommend this venue more. I wouldn't change a thing and if I had to do it all over again I'd pick the Gilbertsville Farmhouse every single time. Thank you Sharon!!!!

We had a small intimate ceremony at Gilbertsville Farmhouse on Memorial Day weekend that could not have been more perfect. Sharon, Aldo and Katie went out of their way to make sure everything was absolutely on point. Even though this was a small gathering, the attention to detail was outstanding. They helped with every bit of the coordination with local caterers, photographers, etc. in turn making planning much less stressful! The grounds are set up beautifully, and the small details they have incorporated match perfectly. Not to mention the glamping! What a unique and fantastic idea, atmosphere and experience! Again, the effort put into the detail of the cabins is amazing, and my husband and I have returned for the glamping during their couples retreats, which I highly recommend as well. We were the first couple to incorporate Goat Yoga the day after our wedding. There’s nothing like it! My wedding weekend was customized and we loved every minute of it, as did our guests. Lots of selfies with the animals as well! I challenge anyone to find a more unique and breathtaking venue in upstate NY. Gilbertsville Farmhouse, thank you for everything you did to make my wedding amazing!

We were the first couple to incorporate Goat Yoga the day after our wedding. There’s nothing like it! My wedding weekend was customized and we loved every minute of it, as did our guests. Lots of selfies with the animals as well! I challenge anyone to find a more unique and breathtaking venue in upstate NY. Gilbertsville Farmhouse, thank you for everything you did to make my wedding amazing!

Seriously the most amazing wedding venue ever! Before even visiting the venue I know that it was \"the one\"! One year after visiting the venue my husband and I tied the knot at the Gilbertsville Farm house. Guests may have not been happy that it was 5 hours from where most of them lived but once they all arrived they could not stop saying how it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to and that the venue was breathtaking and that is was definitely worth the drive! It may have rained (actually poured) the entire weekend but it truly was more beautiful than I could have dreamed. The sun came out for about 30 minutes so that we could still have our ceremony on the hill and we even got the most beautiful rainbow for our pictures so don't let weather scare you when selecting the most perfect venue! Sharon, Aldo & their children as well as Katie were so wonderful and accommodating throughout the entire process and during our wedding weekend. Katie and the kids gave us unlimited rides to and from the tents without hesitation. The tents at what we called the \"Olympic Glamping Village\" were so beautiful and the beds were so comfortable that I think I slept better than I do at home! Each part of the property was so beautiful from the milking barn to the reception barn, the farmhouse to the tents, each space was so unique! I loved that our family and closest friends could all stay together on the farm for the entire weekend sharing in many meals, laughs and stories around the campfire making snores! It was so nice that no one had to worry about driving or being on time since everyone was right on site! Although I did bring many of my own decorations, very little is needed since all of the spaces are beautiful on their own! I really can't say enough great things about this venue! I keep trying to talk every person I meet to get married here so I can go to a wedding as a guest!! My only regret is that I can't do it all over again every weekend!

I knew it was the perfect place for us before even stepping foot on the property. Looking at the website it had I could tell it was going to checkoff all the marks, chandeliers, glamping, barn, multiple ceremony sites, and the option for a wedding weekend getaway! Camping has been a major part of our lives, growing up we both spent many summers putting up tents and spending our time in the outdoors. So the thought of glamping on our wedding night was a dream come true, a very unique experience. The tents could not have been more glamorous, everyone in our bridal party was obsessed with how each tent was decorated and how comfortable the beds were. Sharon, Katie, and Aldo could not have been more welcoming. They were there to answer any questions or concerns we had and made sure the big day went on with out a hitch. Gilbertsville Farmhouse offers so much more then just a place to host your wedding. We were able to spend time hanging out with family and friends and create memories that will last us lifetime. Sitting by the fire pit, relaxing in a hammock, meditating with goat yoga are just a few of our favorite things Gilbertsville has to offer! Check them out you will not be sorry!

I literally cannot say enough wonderful things about Gilbertsville Farmhouse! We were married here in August and it was truly the wedding of my dreams. I grew up on a farm, and knew I wanted a pretty down to earth wedding with a little \"rustic chic\" thrown in. The wonderful thing about Gilbertsville is that you can really create whatever type of wedding you are looking for-if you want fancy, it can be fancy, if you want simple, it can be simple! The beauty of the farm speaks for itself, you really barely need to decorate anything! From the moment we stepped out of the car when visiting for the first time, we knew this was it and we were never disappointed. Even when we ended up having a torrential downpour right before the ceremony (which was supposed to be outside), the staff were unbelievable in moving everything to the milking barn and still creating the most beautiful space. As much as I wanted the ceremony to be outside, I actually think it probably happened for a reason. When walking down the aisle in the milking barn, I was completely overcome with emotion with how beautiful everything was, with the intimate feeling of everyone I loved being in such a wonderful place, and of course (most importantly) with seeing my soon-to-be husband standing at the end of the aisle. What an amazing experience.And to be able to start your wedding celebrations off with GOAT YOGA?! How many people can say that? What a truly wonderful and unique experience for the wedding guests!I cannot thank the entire Boustani family, Katie, and all the staff enough for everything they did for us. You are all AMAZING and I'm proud to be part of the Gilbertsville Farmhouse family!

I'll just begin by saying I fell in love with the beautiful, historic town before I even saw the venue. After my husband proposed, I started my research. I knew I wanted a barn/rustic/vintage theme. Boy, did we luck out with this venue!! Not only is it a beautiful setting for a wedding, but a whole weekend experience. We arrived at the venue on Friday, set up and relaxed all day, had our rehearsal dinner in the barn. Sunday, since it was Mother's Day, we were able to host a wonderful Mother's Day brunch. What I loved most about this venue was it was a weekend experience that I could spend with all my closest family and friends whether they were staying in the cozy farmhouse or the unique luxury tents.Everything came together on Saturday. The clouds cleared, the sun came out, the degrees went up. The wind stopped, even on top of the hill. My favorite part was coming up the hill with my dad, and seeing everyone in the antique church pews. It was a walk I'll never forget. I thought I would be nervous, but it was breathtakingly amazing.We tried to use as many local vendors as possible, as we love the area and wanted to portray that at our wedding. We used a caterer in New Berlin, Rosario at New York Pizzeria (with local beers, too!), they were fabulous and helpful(they also set up our rentals with Morris Tent). We had Kelly Banks Cakes as our Baker, so yummy! And our flowers were by Ashley at C & A Event Planning. The flowers were absolutely beautiful and she understood exactly what I wanted! Sharon and Aldo did everything and more during our perfect day. We were the first of the 2016 season, and it was a little challenging with weather and other factors. I am absolutely in awe at the kindness and openness of their whole crew at the farmhouse. Katie is super sweet and helped us whenever possible. I wish I could live my wedding day over and over. It was absolutelyperfect. Thank you Gilbertsville Farmhouse for a wedding that my family and friends will never forget!

This venue is just absolutely stunning in every direction you look. Watching the morning fog burn off the top of the pond as the sun came pouring from behind the rolling hills was magical. The millions of stars twinkling overhead on a clear night, mesmerizing. This place will fill you with a calm and serenity that no other place will. Beyond the beauty of the surroundings, you have Aldo and Sharon who are two of the sweetest, most agreeable venue owners I could ever imagine. They work extremely hard to make sure their clients are getting exactly what they want. Together, we were able to find the most perfect place for an intimate woodsy ceremony. It took a lot of work to prepare the site, but they were determined to make it everything I had imagined it could be. Our day was perfect and they were a huge part of that success. I am so thankful to have found this special place and to have had the privilege to work with Sharon and Aldo to turn the wedding I envisioned into a reality. We are still hearing compliments from our guests who were so impressed with this place. I wouldn't have changed a thing!

We found the Gilbertsville Farmhouse online after visiting family on the east coast and we were back home in Las Vegas. We booked this venue on blind faith! The photos online were beautiful and matched our vision for a rustic glam wedding. We knew that planning a wedding across the country was going to be a challenge, but a venue like the Gilbertsville Farmhouse cannot be found in our hometown and then as a bonus, my fiancé's family didn't have to travel all the way to Vegas for our wedding. Sharon, the owner, was very clear on everything that needed to be done to book and was very helpful in providing us help in finding vendors, as the area is fairly small. Tables and chairs were provided, there is a beautiful bar set up, the milking barn was fantastic for our cocktail hour, and the ceremony site with the church pews and wooden arbor was stunning. There are no words for the chandeliers, they are truly spectacular. We really felt like we got our money's worth at the Gilbertsville Farmhouse and it created the perfect setting for this chapter of our love story. We were the first wedding of the season, so I think things were rushed in getting finished in time for us (there were people everywhere working like crazy the day before when we did our walk thru, so we weren't able to access the barn and not everything was in it's place yet). It would've been nice to know it was all set to go, and not worrying that it wasn't going to be finished in time, but besides a one small detail of all the hay bales in the milk barn being covered in burlap so that people could sit there (only a few were not covered), every, single thing was perfect! And that is saying a lot coming from a picky bride! Thank you, Sharon, for having us at your amazing venue.

We found the Gilbertsville Farmhouse online after visiting family on the east coast and we were back home in Las Vegas. We booked this venue on blind faith! The photos online were beautiful and matched our vision for a rustic glam wedding. We knew that planning a wedding across the country was going to be a challenge, but a venue like the Gilbertsville Farmhouse cannot be found in our hometown and then as a bonus, my fiancé's family didn't have to travel all the way to Vegas for our wedding. Sharon, the owner, was very clear on everything that needed to be done to book and was very helpful in providing us help in finding vendors, as the area is fairly small. Tables and chairs were provided, there is a beautiful bar set up, the milking barn was fantastic for our cocktail hour, and the ceremony site with the church pews and wooden arbor was stunning. There are no words for the chandeliers, they are truly spectacular. We really felt like we got our money's worth at the Gilbertsville Farmhouse and it created the perfect setting for this chapter of our love story. We were the first wedding of the season, so I think things were rushed in getting finished in time for us (there were people everywhere working like crazy the day before when we did our walk thru, so we weren't able to access the barn and not everything was in it's place yet). It would've been nice to know it was all set to go, and not worrying that it wasn't going to be finished in time, but besides a one small detail of all the hay bales in the milk barn being covered in burlap so that people could sit there (only a few were not covered), every, single thing was perfect! And that is saying a lot coming from a picky bride! Thank you, Sharon, for having us at your amazing venue.

Our wedding at Gilbertsville Farmhouse was perfect! Sharon and her husband are amazing to work with, and they've put so much work into the venue and the house on the property. There were so many thoughtful little touches that I wouldn't have thought of and that just made the two days we spent there absolutely wonderful. The property just keeps getting better and better, as well, on top of being just a stunning location to begin with. Honestly, I just can't say enough good things about them! :)

Our wedding at Gilbertsville Farmhouse was perfect! Sharon and her husband are amazing to work with, and they've put so much work into the venue and the house on the property. There were so many thoughtful little touches that I wouldn't have thought of and that just made the two days we spent there absolutely wonderful. The property just keeps getting better and better, as well, on top of being just a stunning location to begin with. Honestly, I just can't say enough good things about them! :)

The Gilbertsville Farmhouse was exactly what we wanted for our wedding! We were the first wedding to book with them before they added all the amazing details!\rI worked closely with Sharon (who answers every single one of my emails very quickly) for a year and half to create this perfect wedding! She had a vision and we trusted her and her husband to make it come true and it was much more than we ever imagined! People are still raving about it! We wanted a rustic, barn weekend wedding. We had the rehearsal dinner at the Empire House in town on Thursday with karaoke, then set up for the wedding (which her staff helped with whatever we needed) on Friday and we had a BBQ! Saturday went flawless, they were there to help but not over powering as a catering hall would be (which is exactly what we did not want). I was a wedding planner for 4 years and my husband & I did not want someone running the show and telling us what we needed to do and when. They were there the whole day to help with whatever we needed!\rThe barn was gorgeous, all of our guests kept telling us how beautiful it was all night!\rThe house is so great because it sleeps 13 people so our best friends/family stayed with us!\rThe staff is great!\rThe church pews for the ceremony are such a great feature!!!! So rustic and unique.\rThere are endless options for photos!\rCocktail hour was able to be outside behind the barn and they have really pretty lanterns.\rEverything was perfect; we could not have picked a better location for our wedding!\r

We recently stayed at the Gilbertsville Farmhouse and held a rehearsal dinner in the barn. The barn is a lovely building with white string lights, chandeliers and a bar. There is a huge patio off the barn with a great fire pit. The owners are in the process of adding rest rooms and creating a lounge area in the old milking parlor. They have great attention to detail and there are several gorgeous outdoor areas to hold a ceremony with magnificent views! Glamorous rustic is the look they are going for and it is beautiful. \rWe also rented the farmhouse for all the family to stay in which made the event even more special.

When my son-in-law proposed and we put dates out there we chose a date that gave us 3 1/2 months to plan for 180 guests. Most places were booked and I remembered hearing about a place in Gilbertsville -so I googled and found Gilbertsville Farmhouse. We made an appointment and met with Aldo - who was a little tentative - not knowing if we shared the same vision as Sharon - who could see into the future and know what this venue would be in that short of a time. We instantly fell in love - with not only the venue - but the owners as well. These people worked day and night to get the venue to where it was on June 28th. They were so open to our ideas and shared theirs. Sharon also provides many pieces of furniture, props and signs that add to the overall atmosphere. This is the perfect venue for \"Rustic-Chic\" as one of the thank you notes we received after the wedding read. That is right - we got thank you notes from the guests! . They continue to add improvements and will only make this venue better and better. Sharon and Aldo worked well with all of our vendors. The day of the wedding went so smoothly. Sharon took many pictures which she shared with us - although I don't recall seeing her with a camera at all - totally candid. My daughter had a smile on her face the whole day from beginning to end - it was the wedding of her dreams thanks to everyone's hard work. The farmhouse was the perfect place to get ready and we ended up renting it for 2 extra nights to wind down. A very peaceful ending to very hectic 3 1/2 months. I would highly recommend Gilbertsville Farmhouse as a wedding/party venue. I look forward to seeing all the additional improvements to an already beautiful location.
