Beautiful venue. HOWEVER, we ran into several issues after the wedding was over that left a bad impression of the venue. When we tried to get back our security deposit, the communication was SLOW and shady. We were uninformed of all the charges they had tacked on until we received the check (which was longer than the stated 30 working days after the event date). First off, they they charged us an extra $150 to \"repair/replace a barn wall with paint.\" After some investigation, I found out that my mom had tried to hang something on the wall, but one of the venue staff members informed her that was unallowed. The staff member then found a nail on the barn wall and told my mom to hang the decoration there. The venue tried to charge me for this thinking that I was unaware of the situation.... After speaking with Giracci, they stated they could remove the charge. Second and MOST IMPORTANTLY, we had picked the fountain area as our ceremony site. However, during the wedding rehearsal 2 days before the wedding date, we noticed there was a swarm of bees around the fountain. Giracci staff members promised us that the bees would not be there that day, kindly informing us that the water in the fountain would be bleached on the day of and be rid of bees. The wedding date came, and the swarm of bees were still around the fountain even with the bleached water. An hour before the ceremony was about to be begin, my wonderful wedding coordinator made the call to change the ceremony site to a different area, since the bees were relentless. The ceremony turned out fine despite the last-minute changes. However, I was a bit disappointed since the florals we got were specifically made for the fountain, and not the other site. We had gotten no floral arch, since we had intended to use the fountain as the ceremony site. Giracci had the audacity to charge us an EXTRA $300 to re-set up ceremony chairs at a different site, EVEN THOUGH they were the ones who had assured us the bees would not be at the fountain on the day of. I believe this was completely unfair since they had listed the fountain as a FUNCTIONAL ceremony site, which did NOT turn out to be the case. Had we known it was not a feasible ceremony site, we would've picked a different site and obtained matching florals for that site... It was so WRONG of them to charge me an extra $300 for their mistake. When asked if they could kindly remove the charge, they said no and said that \"the bees always leave at 3:30 pm. I know their schedule and the bees would not have been there during your ceremony.\" PSA: If you decide to pick Giracci as your wedding venue, do NOT pick the fountain area as your ceremony site unless you want to get attacked by bees on your wedding day. I was extremely disappointed in how Giracci handled the situation. They offered me some wine festival tickets, but could not return the money that was unfairly charged to me. If after reading all this and you still decide to choose Giracci as your venue, please be cautious. The staff members are very kind, but the kindness can be deceiving. Nonetheless, this is still a beautiful barn venue with romantic twinkle lights. They have very strict rules, so make sure you read the contract carefully and thoroughly. Reviewed on 08-01-2024
Julia Bent(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 15-10-2022 We chose Giracci for the location and the beautiful grounds. The day of the wedding went very well and the whole team was so helpful and made sure that everything went off without a hitch. Its really nice that there are multiple spaces you can rent and the space as a whole has a very calming presence to it. Their on-site guy who helps with all aspects of the day is a total rock star and really made our day memerable! I also liked that they worked with 24 Carrots, who provided amazing food and service. I would recommend Giracci with one caviat that I think is important to disclose:Something to be aware of is the process to get to the day was a bit bumpy and felt unorganized at times. The biggest issue we came across was the string lights in the barn. During my site visit to view the space we were told that the string lights were included with the rental of using the barn space. At the time of our walk through, we were told all lighting was included, except if we wanted bistro lights strung by the gazebo which was so great to hear! The string lights totally make the barn space magical! They even say in their pricing sheet that \"all exisitng lighting in the barn included\". When you read that along with the other items they include (chairs, tables, high tables, etc.) it is expected that the lights are included in the fee. It wasn't until we were 4-5 months out from our wedding that we learned the lights are actually owned by a rental company and are in fact NOT included in the rental fee, resulting in an additional $2,000 needing to be spent to have the lights on for our day. To be honest, we were a bit heartbroken. This was very hard to swallow since we had already allocated all of our funds at that point for the remainder of our wedding but we couldnt go without the lights because they really do make the barn space beautiful! It would have been easier to work through if they had acknolodged they did not specify this correctly on their package or even a small apology for the confusion, but we were left with a very straight \"sorry not sorry\" response. For an item with this high of a price point, it should be very clearly noted that using the barn will require lighting rentals and also a generator to keep them running - which was strange to me considering the barn is covered in solar panels, why are these not in use? I could not find any wording anywhere in our email correspondants or contract that would have alluded to different information then what we were told in person. I hope they can revise their documents and train their staff to be very open about what is included with the site fee, so other couples are not caught off guard as we were. Reviewed on 12-01-2023
molly driscoll(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-06-2022 My husband and I got married at Giracci on 6/25/22. Let me start out by saying our wedding was amazing and the venue is absolutely stunning! However, we did run into a few issues along our wedding planning journey - mainly being unexpected expenses. We were not told that we would have to pay for the lighting in the barn ($1500) and it wasn't completely clear to us that we had to buy Giracci's wine for our event (as opposed to buying from 24 Carrots who is the exclusive caterer). These expenses weren't disclosed to us until about 2-3 months out from our wedding which was surprising and disappointing. You also have to use exclusive vendors for both catering and rentals which are a little more expensive than we we thought they would be - however 24 Carrots staff is absolutely amazing and the food was fantastic! The communication is also a little lacking with Giracci - they are slow to answer emails, but they do get back to you eventually. I don't want to sound super negative because the venue is amazing - but these are things I wish I was aware of when I was planning, so I want to pass the info along! Our wedding went off without a hitch - other than the barn being pretty hot during dinner, but it was June so what can you do. Just be aware that there is no AC in the barn or grooms suite (however there is AC in the bridal suite). I would suggest hiring one of the preferred wedding coordinators because they really know the ins and outs of how the venue operates. Reviewed on 12-07-2022

The staff at Giracci make you feel like family and the venue could not be more stunning! I dreamt of my wedding for years but never could I have imagined that it would be as perfect and beautiful as it was! We have our vendors and Giracci to thank. We could not be more grateful as we felt truly blessed to be able to marry under the old oak trees and party in the magnificent barn! I wish we could get married there every weekend, haha! It was just that perfect and so much fun!! We worked most closely with Michele and she became such an integral part of our planning process. Any questions we had, she answered. She always met us with open arms and helped make our dream wedding come to life. Kevin and I will remember this day forever! Kaitlyn Bailey-Findley(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 03-09-2016 Giracci is a beautiful rustic site that is hidden in the hills of Orange County. The venue was perfect for our rustic affair, and we loved that we had several site choices that we could work with. We had our ceremony on the Stone Cottage Lawn, and the reception on the Wishing Well Court. The Giracci team worked to make sure that we have ever detail covered, and they really pulled our vision together. The site worked with us on a few different ideas and projects that were new to them, and it was a fun collaboration. The wine was delicious, we had almost no bottles left at the end of the night, and they have several great wines to choose from. I would highly recommend this site if you are looking for something that transports you a rustic location, and makes you feel like you are not in Orange County anymore. They do several events a year now, but never 2 events on the same day. My only critique is that sometimes communication was slow, but all in all we were so happy with the venue, and our guests could not stop talking about it...especially the locals!
