Looking out over Seneca Lake, Glenora Wine Cellars is a vineyard venue in Dundee, NY. Since 1977, the winery has been wowing guests with its award-winning wines and its breathtaking views of the Finger Lakes. The team behind Glenora Wine Cellars is dedicated to delivering a wedding experience of laid-back elegance. With farm-to-table food, exceptional wine, and a selection of thirty guest rooms on the premises, you and your guests won’t want to leave. With a minimum guest count of 50 and a maximum capacity of 150, this stunning venue can take care of weddings big and small. They offer indoor and covered outdoor settings to host your engagement party and rehearsal dinner, as well as your ceremony and reception. Your loved ones can gather around the fire pit outside and take in the sloping rows of grapevines as the sun paints the hillside gold. Glenora Wine Cellars also offers the services of a Culinary Institute of America-trained chef on-site. Dinners can be a buffet, plated, or at stations, with a tasting beforehand so you and your partner can customize the menu to your taste. Hors d’oeuvres and bar service are available, too, providing a wide range of beer, wine, and liquor. You can work with the team to create your own signature drink, not to mention raising a glass for the champagne toast. Chairs, tables, glassware, flatware, and linens are all included; you’ll just have to bring your dancing shoes. An on-site wedding coordinator is available to assist you, and in the evening, the winery’s overnight accommodations are just a few steps away. Glenora is an extremely beautiful location and the best choice for our venue. Kathy and all her staff went above and beyond for our day and handled everything flawlessly. Kathy was always there to answer questions any time I reached out and made the entire process an ease. I don't know how we got so lucky to get an 80 degree day at the end of October but it seemed to be a clear sign that we chose the best location to have our day. The view of the lake just beyond the vineyards made for an amazing backdrop and with the firepit and clear sky with full moon made for the most magical night. You will not regret choosing this location and their staff to make your day the best imaginable!

We had our wedding on August 2023 and the entire team of Glenora did a superb job. We were able to have a multicultural wedding (Spanish and American) with the help of Kathy.On our wedding day it started pouring rain 1h before the big celebration but Kathy was able to calm my nerves. Their team did an excellent job once the rain stop and we were able to hold our celebration with the perfect view of the vineyards.If you are looking to get married by Seneca Lake, I would highly recommend this place! Kathy and their team do all the planning and the day of you just need to be there and enjoy!

Kathy at Glenora was great to work with. She would answer my questions via email and phone calls promptly. We had about 110 guests. It was very comfortable with this amount of guests. If we were closer to the max of 150 it would have been crowded especially in the dining area. At the tasting the chef helped with menu planning and even offered different chicken recipes. The hors d’oeuvres we very good and plentiful. Staff were very efficient offering them to guests. They were not mob as soon as they came out of the kitchen. The cheese and fruit was set up in bar area and looked like there was an ample variety of cheeses. There were two bartenders and the bar is fairly large. Guests did not have to wait for drinks and I like that they charge by consumption. The bar was open the entire night and guests could get any drink they wanted. They have a real wood dance floor which is very important. Many venues now days have concrete which is very dangerous and can cause back injuries. The dining room with the fireplace and high beam ceiling is gorgeous. Dancing on the terrace was a ball. It was a cooler night and the sides were brought down and heat lamps were used. It was perfect. Lots of seats outside around the dance floor. The ceremony on the lawn was set up perfectly. We dropped off gift bags, table signs, place cards, candy apples, cupcakes signs, blankets the day before and were able to put them in the dining area. It was a worry free event. Dinners were served warm and efficiently. Having the hors D’oeuvres definitely helped tie people over to dinner. The steaks are all cooked medium rare. If guests want theirs well done or medium they have to send them back. That’s the system. It was great to have the rooms on site very convenient. When we booked over a year prior we did not know we would be limited to 15 rooms. Apparently they save 1/2 of the rooms for another event. So we still had to arrange for another block of rooms off site and provide transportation. Glenora was great to work with from the initial deposit until the last payment. The final bill was available at the desk the next morning and all the items(flowers etc) were together ready for pick up the next day. We had a lovely event and couldn’t be happier with our choice to have our daughter’s wedding there. Thank you to all the staff at Glenora.

Glenora Wine Cellars was an absolutely perfect wedding venue. First of all, the venue is gorgeous (and all of our guests went out of their way to tell us as well). It’s also an incredibly convenient venue - the ceremony and reception can happen at the same location and there are even rooms at the inn for guests to stay. This is absolutely perfect for weddings with a lot of out of town guests. The cottage that can be rented is also the most beautiful place to get ready as a bride, and is just next to the venue. Beyond how beautiful it is, the wine and food are amazing as well. We had so many amazing options to choose from on the menu (and they were very happy to help us with vegan options) and being able to pick specific wines was great as well. Kathy and her staff also took care of all the prep work on the day as well - we brought in our decorations and she did the rest. I could not recommend Glenora Wine Cellars more! It is the perfect place to get married.

Kathy was always available to answer any questions and her knowledge and experience made us feel comfortable knowing we were in good hands! The food was delicious and the views were stunning. It was such a great atmosphere to have the dance floor & DJ out on the terrace and dance the night away under the lights and overlooking the vineyard. Our guests raved about the views, the food, and the convienence of the Inns of Glenora for the guests that booked there. The cottage on site was also an amazing space for the bridal party to get ready in the morning. We had our wedding on May 27th 2023. Both of us knew that we wanted our day and memorable for our guest. We wanted a beautiful view , great food and wanted it all to be stress free. This is why we picked Glenora Wine Cellars. Kathy was very accommodating from start to finish with any questions or changes we had. Kathy was involved with helping us during our rehearsal, helped us suggestions for vendors for our rehearsal dinner and our welcoming drinks for our guests. During our wedding Kathy was everywhere to make sure everything ran smoothly.The food was exceptional thanks to Chef Steve. Chef was very involved during the food tasting in making sure we were happy and made changes to the menu to accommodate all our dietary needs. Everyone raved about how great the food was. All Brides and Grooms want everything to go perfectly but, those worries disappear at Glenora. Millie worked with us for our accommodations at the Inn. The best part about having your wedding at Glenora, you have everything in one place . The cottage was perfect for the rehearsal dinner, getting ready and that beautiful willow tree is perfect for pictures. I can't say enough about this venue. Glenora is really a hidden secret with beautiful views, amazing food and the attention that every Bride and Groom wants for their wedding. Glenora was amazing!I ended up working with three wedding coordinators there through the planning of our wedding (over the course of two years) and they were all amazing. Very professional, prompt and knowledgeable. The communication stayed seemless from one to another.The setting is beautiful, the food is delicious, the service was wonderful and it was just a great place to hold our wedding. We spent our whole wedding weekend at Glenora with friends and family from all over the country and could not have asked for a better experience.

I truly have to give it up to Glenora for providing my husband and I, our family, and our friends with the best day ever. This was a long time coming - we were one of the 2020 (then 2021) pandemic casualties, and we finally were able to lock in July 2022. As another review stated, in the lead up we went through a few lead wedding coordinators and Courtney Berlin was there as the steady, guiding grace through this uncertain time. I would like to give a side shoutout though to James M., our first coordinator, whose kindness and warm heart made a huge impact on us and our decision to go with Glenora. But back to Courtney - WOW. She stepped up to the plate and got us through the finish line this year, all smooth sailing. Glenora truly has it all - the on-site inn, in-house restaurant (my goodness the food was raved about for weeks), the stunning backdrop, and so much more. We wanted the biggest party surrounded by those who know and love us best, and that's exactly what we got. We don't live too far away so expect us back for many more years of wine tastings and reminiscing. Thank you, all!

I give this 5 star specifically to Courtney Berlin (assistant wedding coordinator). During the lead up to our wedding, Glenora swapped out 3 different wedding coordinators and Courtney was the rock through all of them. She understood our stress and allowed us to use her as the primary contact. Courtney also stepped in to be our primary day-of. I was happy knowing our wedding was in her hands. Even tired and worried from a home issue the night before, she made everything perfect...and we are SO thankful. Glenora itself was a stunning location for our ceremony and reception and they were very kind to all of us and our guests. Ultimately, if you're looking for a place that feels like home and extended family everywhere, Glenora is the place to be. Hopefully the rotating door of the coordinator position stops - I know Covid probably had a lot to do with it and a severe influx of TONS of weddings in 2022.

We are absolutely thrilled with our choice of venue! Our wedding was in October and the fall foliage and vines were stunningly beautiful. Our photos are truly amazing. We enjoyed working with Courtney, the assistant, most as our wedding coordinator changed a few times during our planning. All our guests were impressed with the beautiful views and complimented the food and the wine. A few small details were missed at our wedding-the late night food station selections, and a ceremony decoration was forgotten but it’s the big picture that Glenora nailed. The rooms were nice, the views are beautiful, and the food delicious. Our guests were so impressed and they made our day perfect! I can’t imagine better scenery for our formal photos. We can’t wait to return each year for our anniversary

We are absolutely thrilled with our choice of venue! Our wedding was in October and the fall foliage and vines were stunningly beautiful. Our photos are truly amazing. We enjoyed working with Courtney, the assistant, most as our wedding coordinator changed a few times during our planning. All our guests were impressed with the beautiful views and complimented the food and the wine. A few small details were missed at our wedding-the late night food station selections, and a ceremony decoration was forgotten but it’s the big picture that Glenora nailed. The rooms were nice, the views are beautiful, and the food delicious. Our guests were so impressed and they made our day perfect! I can’t imagine better scenery for our formal photos. We can’t wait to return each year for our anniversary

We are so happy we chose them, and could say this a million times over and over- they DEFINITELY know what they are doing!! Glenora was the only venue we looked at and we instantly knew it was the one- especially since lots of our guests could be accommodated at the Inn. But we did not expect the planning experience to be as stress-free as it was! Courtney and Kathy are amazing and they make sure every detail is planned for, exactly how you want it! They take all the stress away just by being so knowledgeable, experienced, and helpful. Our wedding day was organized and perfectly executed. We were beyond impressed with all the communication, support, and help we received throughout the entire process. Our guests continue to tell us how perfect our day was and how absolutely stunning the venue was. The food was exceptional as well. We LOVE Glenora and cannot thank them enough. We will be back for plenty of wine tasting and anniversary weekends!

Glenora Wine Cellars made wedding planning a breeze, and helped me and my now wife have the best day ever. Literally not a thing I would change. Kathy and Courtney were always accommodating and made the entire day possible. The view is unbeatable and the every room at the inn really let you appreciate the scenery. The dining hall was lovely and the Glenora staff followed all instructions we had for decorating to a T. The staff was incredibly kind and fun through the whole event. We had an absolute blast and could not recommend this venue enough for a wedding!

Glenora is an amazing place to get married. I knew I wanted a venue that had an event coordinator, because I wanted to do as little as possible during my wedding weekend. During our wedding weekend, I literally didn't have to do anything because it was all taken care of! Courtney and Damita were great, and made sure everything was thought of and done without anyone in the wedding party having to worry about a thing. Also, the food was amazing! Wedding food is sometimes meh, but Glenora did not disappoint. If you want a seamless, perfect wedding, just book with Glenora.

The scenery at Glenora was unmatched and was the perfect setting for our day. Our guests could not stop commenting on the beautiful sights of the winery overlooking the lake. We originally planned our wedding for 2020 and had to reschedule not once, but twice due to ongoing Canadian border closure in 2021. Glenora was so accommodating and made both reschedules easy and stress free. During this time, the originally wedding coordinator we started with moved on from Glenora and his replacement also ended up leaving less than 2 months before the ceremony. Thankfully this was also made stress free when the planning was handed over to the assistant even coordinator, Courtney, who had been with Glenora for years. She put me at ease in the final days of planning and helped our event run perfectly smooth the day of. She had knowledge and experience with the venue that a new person just jointing the team could not have had and that was very comforting. I would have loved if she would have been able to take over right after the person we were originally working with left but I’m glad we were able to work with her in the end!

Every single one of our requests was honored…from planning and set up to kitchen/meal needs to room preferences. Courtney was so responsive and easy to communicate with. She went above and beyond. A few examples: -We kicked the tap of my favorite wine at rehearsal dinner and Courtney made sure to find a few bottles to have available specifically for me for the wedding the next night. -They were happy to store cakes and cupcakes in their cooler. The chef even helped up carry all the food out to the car the next morning. -We were provided a private cocktail hour in our room with personal service after the ceremony. -They decorated the brunch tables beautifully with leftover flowers from the wedding.-Courtney was always willing to talk through decisions with me and ease my nerves when needed.-Cleanup was entirely taken care of with all decor nicely organized. The entire night, they were always one step ahead thinking of our needs. The entire team’s attention to detail put us at ease and allowed us to enjoy the weekend without worrying about everything. The front desk staff, servers, and bartenders treated us like royalty. It was clear that their goal was to provide us with a special experience. This is THE place to get married in the Finger Lakes region! I can't tell you how convenient it was to have one place for the ceremony, reception, lodging, food, and meet-and-greet. Huge shoutout to the team in the tasting room who threw an amazing meet-and-greet event for us with the BEST wine ever on their brand new terrace! Also, Chef Charlie and his team did an OUTSTANDING job with all of our food-- it was absolutely delicious. We had a Cuban-inspired menu and they nailed it. And of course, many thanks to Damita and Courtney for all of their help in coordinating the entire event and for being so detail-oriented. The staff here is amazing and the personal touches were so beautiful.Everything was so perfect besides the fact that somewhere along the way, my bridal bouquet was lost! I had purchased an arrangement of dried and faux flowers that I was supposed to be able to keep forever, but in the rapid process of breaking down the dining room, it was either misplaced or taken, and we couldn't find it the next morning. This is such a small detail and I don't want to minimize all of the ways in which Glenora was so amazing for the entire rest of the weekend-- truly a 5-star experience. I reached out to the staff to ask them to double-check the venue for the bouquet and haven't gotten a response. I've also checked with my florist, decorators, and guests and it hasn't turned up yet. If it does turn up, I will gladly update this review!

Wow, what an amazing wedding venue!!!Damita and Courtney were absolutely amazing to work with. Planning our wedding during the crazy times of covid was definitely not easy, however Damita was always very easy to communicate with and responded promptly. Just to give you an example of how amazing Glenora and their entire team is we ended up with a funny story that will last us a lifetime! At the end of our wedding, we were talking with Damita about how amazing everything was and she mentioned that the letter “S” that we had leaned up on the fireplace mantle was not the same wood “S” that we arrived with. Long story short, our original “S” fell in the elevator shaft and it was unable to be retrieved. Within a couple of hours, Joel (maintenance) made a new “S” out of wood, painted it, and made it looked identical to our orginal “S”! We were so shocked so learn that Joel took the time to do this for us, we were truly touched! This is just a small example of how everyone went above and beyond for us. It was truly the best experience and there’s not a single thing we would do differently. Glenora has a one of a kind property and offers everything and anything you can think of to make your special day perfect!!!

Wow, what an amazing wedding venue!!!Damita and Courtney were absolutely amazing to work with. Planning our wedding during the crazy times of covid was definitely not easy, however Damita was always very easy to communicate with and responded promptly. Just to give you an example of how amazing Glenora and their entire team is we ended up with a funny story that will last us a lifetime! At the end of our wedding, we were talking with Damita about how amazing everything was and she mentioned that the letter “S” that we had leaned up on the fireplace mantle was not the same wood “S” that we arrived with. Long story short, our original “S” fell in the elevator shaft and it was unable to be retrieved. Within a couple of hours, Joel (maintenance) made a new “S” out of wood, painted it, and made it looked identical to our orginal “S”! We were so shocked so learn that Joel took the time to do this for us, we were truly touched! This is just a small example of how everyone went above and beyond for us. It was truly the best experience and there’s not a single thing we would do differently. Glenora has a one of a kind property and offers everything and anything you can think of to make your special day perfect!!!

We cannot recommend Glenora enough for couples looking for the perfect venue! Working with Damita and Courtney was a great experience! Damita did an excellent job communicating all the changes that come with planning a wedding during a pandemic and helping us navigate the ever-changing protocols. They also made sure everything was taken care of, so I did not have to worry about anything on my wedding day. We received so many compliments from our guests, not only on the incredible views, but also on the food (which was incredible), the wine, and the overall service and hospitality provided by Glenora. Many guests said they would be planning a trip back to the winery. Having the Inn on the property was a big reason we chose Glenora, and it did not disappoint. Our Guests raved about having all of the wedding events in one space and the overall rooms and views.

100000% Recommend!!!!! We planned our wedding from 4 hours away and it would not have been so easy or perfectly done without Damita and Courtney. Damita was extremely responsive, professional, and personable. She walked us through every step of the process and made it as easy as possible (and FUN). All the small touches were put together, everything promised was delivered, and it made for an EPIC day. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, there wasn't a guest who didn't comment on how breathtaking this venue was. Oh and THE FOOD!!!!!!!! The Hors-d'oeuvres and meals were the best wedding food I've ever had. Everyone was telling me how delicious the coconut shrimp, bacon wrapped scallops, veggie spring rolls, beef tenderloins, filet, chicken, scallops were. The bar service was great, the dinner staff was great, the staff made us feel like kings and queens! We are so BLESSED and GRATEFUL to have chosen Glenora as our wedding venue and all the perfection that came along with it. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU GLENORA!!!!!

During our wedding venue search, Glenora was the very first place we visited...and wow, did they set the bar high! From the beautiful views, to the fantastic food, to the true gem of the place - coordinator James Merritt! - we knew that Glenora could not be beat and we're so happy we chose it for our wedding. Pre-pandemic, the planning process could not have been easier. And even during the pandemic, with what seemed like weekly pivoting of plans, James stayed unbelievably flexible and kept everything on track. I can't emphasise how much James' calmness meant to us during those challenging months. He is truly a master of his craft and I would recommend booking at Glenora simply to have the opportunity to work with him (the views are the bonus)! In the end, we could not have been any happier with how our wedding weekend turned out. We had a blast from the very moment we stepped foot on the property - and for that, we say a major THANK YOU to James and the team. The entire weekend was a wonderful experience for us and our family, and one that we'll all cherish forever. We can't wait to plan an anniversary trip back to visit. :)

We did a lot of research over our 2 year engagement on venues for our 2020 wedding. We were looking for something in the finger lakes that could offer a cozy but elegant venue for both our ceremony and reception. It was obvious from the first time we visited Glenora and met with James that they were two steps ahead of the rest... everything about the planning process was so effortless. The venue is absolutely stunning and the staff was amazing to work with from beginning to end. Our guests kept mentioning how beautiful it was and everyone had a smile on their face the whole day. I also have to make a special thank you and recommendation for them based on how incredible they were through the COVID pandemic in helping ensure our wedding was still perfect and what we wanted. We ended up having to change plans a bit and opted for an intimate family-only ceremony this year, with plans to have a big bash next year (assuming we can do so at that time) and Glenora and James were so amazing in facilitating that and making it totally stress-free. Highly highly recommend, cannot say enough good things about the venue and especially James for putting us at ease and making our day perfect, even in the midst of a pandemic. Would give 10 stars if I could!

My husband and I got married here in August and we cannot recommend Glenora enough! James was amazing to work with and was so helpful in the planning stages right up to the big day! We brought all of our decor the day before and James took care of setting everything up! He didn't even hesitate! I was so amazed, and thankful for this as we had a million things to do the day before. During our ceremony time, we experienced a rain storm and James was so accommodating when we decided to go with our plan B location. He was right there when we were deciding to wait it out or have it on the terrace. Everything turned out beautiful and exactly how it should be! James, we cannot thank you enough for all your hard work to make our wedding absolutely perfect! Also, our guests raved about the food and the Inn! We chose a variety of dinner options and we only heard great things from our guests, and we agreed! The majority our of guests stayed at the Inn at Glenora and they loved the rooms, all with a gorgeous vineyard view! Missy helped us so much to accommodate our guests to make sure everyone had was they needed. She was amazing to work with! We also rented the cottage to get ready in and it was so adorable and perfect location for hair and makeup! Lastly, our photographer and videographer could not get over the spectacular views and neither could we! You cannot find a better place that overlooks Seneca Lake and our pictures turned out better than we could have imagined! Overall, Glenora is the perfect location for a wedding. They have the best wedding coordinator and inn director, the food was delicious, and you cannot beat the views of the vineyard! Glenora, thank you for making our day an absolute dream! We will definitely be back to celebrate anniversaries in the future!

If a perfect wedding venue existed, it would be Glenora Wine Cellars! My daughter's wedding was everything we had hoped for... and more. We had a clear, crisp Fall day with beautiful scenery, excellent food, and of course great wine! So many guests came up to us and said it was the best wedding they had ever been to...an absolutely accurate assessment!James and his staff made all the planning and implementation stress free... they were awesome to work with. James made everything seem so easy, even though I am sure it was not! He has a great eye for detail and nothing was left out. We trusted him with the layout of all our decorations, the dessert table, etc. and our trust was earned... everything was beautiful! Future brides and grooms and their families are fortunate to have James and Glenora Wine Cellars as a perfect backdrop for their wedding day!

Do you know how much money we saved because of this?! You can browse their inventory to use for your wedding just ask James!Now speaking of James...THANK THE LORD FOR JAMES. James literally saved my life during planning. From everything the venue includes to all of his help and guidance, I don't think I could of done it without him. He constantly kept in touch promptly and the day before the wedding helped take in all of our boxes and decor like a pro and set everything up exactly how we wanted. We even trusted him to do some things his own way which was the best idea ever (if you think about it who knows more than him in this situation..honestly). The day of he was totally focused on keeping everything as smooth as possible and he succeeded. The next day everything we brought was broken down and neatly placed for us to take home!!!!!!!! He is so sweet and definitely handled some bride breakdowns like a pro. I really feel like without James our wedding would not have been as amazing as it was. Everything went smoothly and I was so much less stressed because of him.Now Glenora...The VIEWS!! Every room on the property has a view of the vineyard and lake and it's absolutely incredible. (Another thing our guests have no stopped raving about). Every photo taken at our wedding was breathtaking just from this. There is also many hotel options near by and shuttle services available to rent to accommodate additional guests! Staying at Glenora also includes so many perks likes free wine tasting for guests every day of their stay, a free bottle of wine in the room and tasting at sister wineries on the lake. Staying at Glenora also includes so many perks likes free wine tasting for guests every day of their stay, a free bottle of wine in the room and tasting at sister wineries on the lake. (our guests were EXCITED)Honestly the list goes on and on you should really book an appointment to see it for yourself. Our wedding was the best best best best flawless day ever because of the venue and most importantly James. I hope every bride gets to say this about their special day.

I cannot stay enough about Glenora! First, James the wedding coordinator was amazing! He helped us through every step along the way and made us at ease when the date was coming up for the wedding. He made everything smooth and beautiful! The venue is breathtaking and the reception area and outdoor terrace accentuated the beautiful scenery! The DJ on the outdoor patio was so awesome! Dancing out on the terrace and having the string light on when it got dark was the coolest ambiance! We had an outdoor wedding and it was everything we could have ever imagined. The arbor in front of the vineyard and the breeze from the lake was amazing! The food was great and in speaking to some of my guests they were impressed and thought the food was delicious. I had 20 children at the wedding and being that we had a buffet, they put the kids meals out on the buffet as well and this made things easier for the parents because they could go up and get their own food. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to provide one of the kids (who had a severe peanut allergy). They took great care to make him his own cheese and cracker plate to ensure that there was no chance any of the utensils and the plate did not come in contact with anything related to nuts. I cannot say enough about James and Glenora. Our wedding was exactly what we pictured and it was the most amazing and romantic day full of lots of love!!!

I cannot stay enough about Glenora! First, James the wedding coordinator was amazing! He helped us through every step along the way and made us at ease when the date was coming up for the wedding. He made everything smooth and beautiful! The venue is breathtaking and the reception area and outdoor terrace accentuated the beautiful scenery! The DJ on the outdoor patio was so awesome! We loved everything about having our wedding with at Glenora! The set up at Glenora is beautiful and we loved having the dance floor outside so people could hang out on the deck without being separated from the dance floor. It was also cool to have people flow from inside to outside and down onto grass for some cornhole. Everyone thought the food was delicious- definitely no typical boring wedding food here! The sparkler send off leading to the firepit after party was the perfect way to end the night and it was so nice to stay on site so we didn't have to worry about going anywhere. The view is beyond gorgeous, the wine is obviously amazing and the food was delicious! Even if there wasn't all that, it is worth having your wedding here because James simply is THE BEST! Throughout our wedding planning process, James was there to answer any of our questions and offer any advice / recommendation. He kept saying that's how its supposed to be when I would say “that was easy.” As soon as we dropped off stuff there on our wedding weekend, James and his team took it from there so we literally didn't have to worry about anything. We had so many people comment on how he was everywhere making sure everything was going seamless. We really can't say enough about how much we love everything about Glenora! If you are getting married, get married at Glenora! you will not regret it!! We can't imagine our wedding being as perfect if we got married anywhere else!

I honestly don't know where to begin. Glenora was the only venue we looked at when choosing a place for our wedding. Within 5 minutes of our tour and meeting with James the event manager we were ready to sign a contract and book the date. James is INCREDIBLE and makes wedding planning so easy. He is attentive, so easy going and works so hard to make sure you as the couple are getting exactly what you want for your wedding day. Even when I stressed about the weather and possible rain he kept me calm and assured me it would all be okay. We ended up having to move our ceremony onto the covered terrace and it was still beautiful and perfect. Our guests have not stopped raving about the food, the service, the VIEW. Honestly, before we booked my fiancé was skeptical of all of the 5 star reviews but we can now say we know why. Having the inn attached and being able to offer rooms for our guests was another huge perk. The fire pit was great for our late night after party. There are just so many wonderful things about this place I could go on and on. Having our wedding here was the best decision we could make. If I could do it all over again I wouldn't change a thing. Thank you James and Glenora for helping to create the most magical day of our lives!

I’m not sure if it’s possible for us to express in words how grateful we are that we chose Glenora Wine Cellars as our wedding venue and how incredibly impressed we were across the board through the entire planning process . As out-of-state residents, we chose Glenora after falling in love with the Finger Lakes region and simply loved Glenora for the location and scenic backdrop. We also underestimated just how convenient it was to have lodging options right on site. But more than anything, we could not imagine anyone being more helpful in planning our day than James. He was so responsive and reassuring every step of the way, answering our endless questions. He was such a calming presence even up until we walked down the aisle and truly made us feel like he would swiftly handle any issues that arose, which is so important when you’re stressed with all the little details of the day. All of the service staff at Glenora, including the restaurant, inn, and winery, were incredibly friendly and professional, not only on our wedding day but during every visit we have had. The dinner was absolutely amazing and many guests made it a point to stop in at Veraisons even after the wedding day. Finally, for anyone planning a wedding out-of-state like us, I couldn’t imagine another venue making the process so flawless— I actually don’t think it would be this easy to plan a wedding in our own town! James provides you with a packet of preferred vendors and we were extremely satisfied with every vendor we used. It also says a lot when communicating with the vendors, they would all speak praises about Glenora and how much they enjoy working with James. I would recommend this venue a thousand times over. My husband and I were married 6/15/19 at Glenora, and we could not be happier with our choice. 10 stars. Both the venue and wedding and events manager James were perfection, and made for a wedding day better than I could have ever hoped for.There are so many reasons to choose this venue, I will just note a few. First, the venue is stunning. The few photo's and video I have seen so far are breathtaking, overlooking vineyards and the lake. The restaurant is beautiful. This place is easy to work with on a budget because not much extra work is required to make it ready for a wedding. In January there is a bridal expo held at Glenora, and this is were I found all my vendors. This was perfect because these are the ones that commonly work with the venue, and that made it all incredibly easy too. Second, our wedding was destination for 99% of our guests. A large chunk were able to stay at the hotel attached to Glenora, which most other venues in the area don't offer. We did end up providing a shuttle service to the remaining guests, as taxi's and ubers aren't available like they are in a city. Also, as most of our guests were out of town, there was plenty to do the whole weekend for those not in the wedding party.Third, there is an indoor option for the ceremony in case of bad weather. I grew up in upstate NY and this was one of my requirements for a venue, knowing how unpredictable the weather could be. Again, not a lot of the venue's in the area offer this. I was so relieved I did this, because our wedding day was in between two horrible days. Rain was predicted as well as high winds. We got lucky and ceremony ended up outside, but up to just a few minutes before we could have moved inside if we needed to. An extremely nice touch that made the wedding feel super high class, every guest staying at the hotel was given a class of champagne upon arrival, as well as a free bottle of wine in the room. Last but not least in any way... JAMES, the wedding and events manager. He was a dream to work with. He is so calm cool and collected, he made the almost 2 years I spent planning our wedding, and the day of, a breeze. This is how a wedding should be! At the end of our wedding, we both gave him a hug feeling like we were saying goodbye to a friend. There are no negatives to this location. I could keep going... but I will leave it at this. CAN I GIVE 100 STARS!? If you don't choose Glenora for the UNREAL scenery, out-of-this-world food, excellent wine, or convenient on-site guestrooms... CHOOSE GLENORA FOR JAMES!!! Glenora was a dream come true for our wedding day in July. It was such beautiful and idyllic setting and of all the venues we considered, it was the most convenient: the ceremony, lodging, reception areas are all on site and James and the whole Glenora team are experts at what they do. Accessibility to airports and proximity to interesting sites for our out-of-town guests made it ideal. James' professionalism was so reassuring and he made sure everything came together perfectly. The food (and wine!) were also incredible. We can't wait to visit in the future and reminisce about our wedding day!

I cannot say enough about this venue and coordinator!!! We fell in love with Glenora for its views and the incredible food at Verasions, but James is just awesome! He is the cherry on top! The hotel itself was wonderful, the rooms could use an update, but with the views and free bottle of wine, no one seemed to mind much! We also used the Cottage at Glenora for our bridal suite getting ready the day of, and it was perfect. The sun room is beautiful and picturesque! I wish I could give 10 stars and we will definitely be revisiting for many anniversaries to come! Huge thanks to James, Orlando and the whole Glenora staff!

We cannot say enough about Glenora! To start, our wedding coordinator, James, was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout our entire planning process. He was nothing short of attentive, compassionate, understanding, and so incredibly hard working. My favorite moment was walking down stairs with my father, to find James knelt down, eye level with my niece/flower girl, reassuring her of how pretty she looked and how amazing she would do. She giggled, still a little nervous and made her way down the aisle. Our entire day was stunning and absolutely perfect thanks to James and his entire team! As the doors opened to walk down the aisle to my soon to be husband, the sweet aroma of grapes from the vineyard, the view of the lake, and all of our friends and family there to celebrate us, literally took my breath away! The food was absolutely impeccable, I don't think there was one person who didn't rave about how amazing it was. James and his team made it a point to determine ahead of time who was responsible for any questions or concerns the day of the wedding so that my husband and I did not worry about anything. Now, just like any family we had those who required a little more attention than the rest. Again, this team did everything and anything to accommodate everyone, from picky eaters, plating and serving those who had difficulty getting around the buffet, while always ensuring that my husband and I were taken care of and had everything we needed. We finished our night with our family and friends dancing the night away and singing \"Ring Of Fire\" on repeat 3 times! We never worried about anything from set up to take down! The following morning we were greeted with mimosas as we arrived to breakfast and treated as if we were the most important people there. Our day was perfect from start to finish and none of it would have been possible without the stunning scenery, beautiful venue, and the hard work and dedication from James and his team! We were blessed and grateful to have chosen Glenora as our wedding/reception venue.

Our wedding in July, 2017 was everything we dreamed it to be and more. We owe so much of that to our wedding coordinator James (and Kathy too)! As soon as we decided on this stunning venue James was there for us from day one. He is always upbeat, dependable, and so accommodating with ANYTHING you could possibly need. I hope that Kathy and James know how much they mean to a bride and how much stress relief they provide just by being who they are. On the morning of the wedding we were each able to spend all our time with our bridal parties knowing that everything else would be taken care of by James and the rest of Glenora's staff. Then we were able to fully enjoy and soak in the rest of the day by getting married outside with Seneca Lake and the vineyards as the view. We followed the ceremony with a delicious dinner in the cozy dining room, and finished with dancing the rest of the night away under the stars and the string lights they have set up. It could not have been a more romantic and beautiful setting and people still complement the venue to this day. We would give anything to go back to that day and would recommend this venue, along with Kathy and James, to anyone in a heartbeat!

Glenora is an amazing venue, and you will not regret choosing it. All of our guests were blown away by the venue and the scenery, and we were told over and over how elegant the wedding was (one of the guests even decided during the wedding that they were going to have their son's rehearsal dinner there!). I personally loved the convenience factor of choosing Glenora, where I had one person to coordinate everything through (Kathy), I didn't have to deal with any caterers or tent rental places or anything else, and at the end of the night we could walk a few yards and be at our hotel room for the night (the hotel room was also very nice). I also think that the price is very moderate for what you're getting. The food was amazing (we also received many compliments on that), and because you don't have to rent a tent or anything (they have a built-in rain backup plan, their terrace), you're saving money there too. And maybe this isn't for everyone, but we saved a ton of money by not buying any flowers or decorations (the view is so pretty, you don't need to). We used a bunch of Glenora's found items (like on each table we used a wine glass with a number on it as the table marker, and votive candle holders + candles as the decorations).Glenora is also great because you're immediately set up with an onsite wedding coordinator (as mentioned above, ours was Kathy), who was great. Kathy really knows how to parcel out questions and information requests, so that things are constantly getting done and moving forward, but you're not overwhelmed. She was extremely responsive and took the time to answer all of our questions in detail, and to chase down any extraneous info we needed (like the names of babysitters for the guests, and helping me decide on decorations, etc.), and because she's done this for so long, all of her answers and advice were on point. The only thing I would say was at all a downside was they don't let you try any of the appetizers at your tasting, it's just the salads and entrees (so we just kind of guessed at what we thought would be good for appetizers, but we might have changed that if we'd been able to try things ahead of time). But in the grand scheme of things, that was minor, and overall I would highly recommend a wedding at Glenora!

Kathy was incredibly accommodating, enthusiastic, and helpful during our planning process, and when we finally met her the day before our wedding, she was just as wonderful as she seemed through our phone calls and emails. Kathy was incredibly accommodating, enthusiastic, and helpful during our planning process, and when we finally met her the day before our wedding, she was just as wonderful as she seemed through our phone calls and emails. Can I give 6 stars? Or 7? Glenora is off the charts in every category. First and foremost: Kathy!!! She is the best of the best; professional, knowledgable, organized, flexible and most of all, FUN to work with. She not only made our entire wedding planning experience a breeze, but so enjoyable! Because that's what it's all about, right? You're supposed to enjoy this special time! Our venue was the easiest choice to make and the most stress-free part of our planning. Kathy responded to each and every one of my questions and concerns so promptly, and let us tailor our event to our exact liking. She made sure every single detail was in place! A few other points to highlight:- The food is amazing. Our guests raved about it, especially the filet!- The view is spectacular and the best in the Finger Lakes region, bar none.- The entire staff is so friendly and accommodating. You feel like your wedding is the most important event in the universe and everyone treats you like royalty.- The Inn is right there! We had a lot of out-of-town guests and many stayed at the Inn at Glenora. They all were beyond happy with their choice to stay there! The view out each guest's room is equally beautiful and Glenora welcomes everyone with a glass of sparkling wine & a chilled bottle of wine is in their room waiting for them. They also put our guest welcome bags in each one of our wedding guest's rooms!- I need to give a shout out to James - he and Kathy work as a wonderful team and he jumps right in to help with anything and everything! My husband wanted a specific local craft beer on tap for our wedding day and James went above and beyond to get it there on time.I could write a novel about why everyone should get married at Glenora. I am actually sad that wedding planning is over because I will miss talking with Kathy regularly! They take customer service to the next level and make sure that your special day truly is the best day of your life. Sit back, relax, and they take care of the rest! Our guests raved about it, especially the filet!- The view is spectacular and the best in the Finger Lakes region, bar none.- The entire staff is so friendly and accommodating. You feel like your wedding is the most important event in the universe and everyone treats you like royalty.- The Inn is right there! We had a lot of out-of-town guests and many stayed at the Inn at Glenora. They all were beyond happy with their choice to stay there! The view out each guest's room is equally beautiful and Glenora welcomes everyone with a glass of sparkling wine & a chilled bottle of wine is in their room waiting for them. They also put our guest welcome bags in each one of our wedding guest's rooms!- I need to give a shout out to James - he and Kathy work as a wonderful team and he jumps right in to help with anything and everything! My husband wanted a specific local craft beer on tap for our wedding day and James went above and beyond to get it there on time.I could write a novel about why everyone should get married at Glenora. I am actually sad that wedding planning is over because I will miss talking with Kathy regularly! Wedding planning is hard. Really hard. What was NOT hard, was anything pertaining to this venue. From the moment I first emailed with James about booking a date, to the moment we hugged and said goodbye after our fabulous wedding, we were taken care of. James went above and beyond to assist with anything that was on my mind throughout the year. I was nervous about doing a destination wedding, but he was so quick to provide recommendations for wine tours, restaurants, salons...whatever it was, James either had an answer or found one for us! As time went on, I began to wonder how I got so far in my personal life without James to support me! ;) He is priceless as a coordinator and Glenora is beyond lucky to have him. If you choose Glenora as your venue, you will not be disappointed. You will be treated as if you are the only bride/groom and will be welcomed as a part of the Glenora family. The entire staff is amazingly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The food? Don't even get me started. It would be unfair to put it in even the same category as \"wedding food\". Go to your tasting and you'll be blown away. Our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was. Oh and you won't find a better view on Seneca lake. My husband and I were married here on 10/14/16. We initially met James back in January for the tour and fell in love with the venue. After that I only really interacted with Kathy via phone and email until closer to the wedding. So I'll start with Kathy. She was simply the best person to walk me through this whole process and it felt like I was planning the wedding with a close friend of mine. She was so understanding and really makes you feel the importance of it being your day and your way. James was absolutely no different, he was on it the entire wedding day and made sure everything went perfect. Even my family members commented to me during and after the wedding about how attentive James was. I can't say enough good things about either of them. The whole process was perfect from start to finish, I was so sad when the day was over and I'd do it all over with this venue in a heart beat. Thank you so much to everyone at Glenora, there was not a single thing I would change about the day or the experience. My husband and I will be forever grateful!

Kathy and James are amazing. They were so helpful from day one, any questions I had were answered very quickly leading up to our wedding day. As for the wedding day it could not have been better. Glenora is a fantastic place to get married, the views were gorgeous and James, our wedding coordinator, was amazing as well. We worked with James for over a year. He was always responsive and helped us with our decisions along the way. Everything worked out perfectly the day of our wedding - we were afraid that the rain might force us to move our ceremony indoors, but they were able to pull off an outdoor ceremony just minutes after the rain stopped. We can't thank James and the staff at Glenora enough!

Our wedding took place in July at Glenora. Kathy was a HUGE help in making our day as wonderful as it turned out to be. Everything was set up exactly how we imaged in from the ceremony to the reception. The food was excellent and the bar had everything imaginable. The tables were set up beautifully and all of our guests were impressed by the ambiance and setting of the entire facility. Guests that stayed loved their rooms and the bed were very comfortable. It was great to have a free bottle of champagne provided with the room. The only small problem that we had was that we requested a month in advance that the cottage be cleaned at 11am while the bridesmaids were away getting their hair done so that we didn't bother the housekeepers and so that the cottage would be set for another set of my family that would be staying their the night of the wedding. Unfortunately, it was not done and we had a house full when the housekeepers came RIGHT before the wedding while we were trying to get ready. Other than that, it was all great. Kathy even had two forks engraved with our wedding date on them for us to go with the cake. It was such a kind gesture. We truly appreciate all the hard work from Glenora and our vendors that went in to making our day so memorable.

Everything turned out amazing. Their wedding coordinator Kathy was there from beginning to end to help with everything. We couldn't have picked a better place. Not to mention the view is the prettiest on the lake😊

Meet the Glenora Wine Cellars Team
Katherine Frantz (Manager) I was a social worker for more than 30 years and also involved in the service of weddings on the weekends. I worked at a local winery which hosted up to 300 for receptions working closely with the families to ensure all aspects of their special day came together. I started with Glenora last June and was able to support the families with all their wedding &reception expectations being fulfilled each time. I work closely from the initial tour of the venue, the rehearsal, rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, and follow up with ensuring the reception goes smoothly & stress free for everyone.
