Wedding Date 20-10-2018
We just had our wedding last night. We intially chose the venue due to our meeting with the wedding coordinator, Sonya. She was so sweet and amenable that we knew we wanted to book Glenross. Then we had the tasting with Sonya and the Head Chef who was also incredibly sweet. Everyone raved that the food was the best they’ve ever had at a wedding. It was honestly better than I could have imagined. I literally had to do nothing, Sonya managed the entire event, decor, food, serving us so we didn’t even have to line up in the buffet, and even bar tending when ours was unavailable. They took care to rearrange th decorations according to weather and work with what we brought for each stage of the event. The space is also gorgeous and really didn’t need much to make it bridal. As for the lack of dressing room, they closed all of the blinds and we got ready in the reception hall which was no problem and made great photos anyway. Everyone involved was very pleased and we wouldn’t change a thing!

Wedding Date 25-08-2018
We just had our wedding at the venue last night and if I we could do it all over again I would of chose another place. I will start off with the bad first. 1) the wedding coordinator was probably the most difficult person in the world to get ahold of.2) we were promised to receive free golfing at the venue and the bridal party wanted to do it the morning of the wedding. We were told it was going to be very busy and that we couldn’t. When we showed up there were prolly about 4 golfers total on the first 9 holes. 3) The staff was extremely rude and discourteous to the guests as well as myself (the person who purchased the entire wedding). I’ve had better customer service at Walmart than I did there. OutOf all of my complaints this was by far the one that really got me. I’d rather of spent more money and gone somewhere else and been treated better. Pros1) The food was really good. They chef prepaired an amazing meal. 2) The venue has a nice view and was set up nice inside. All in all I would stay away from there. The coordinator was nice at first and seemed to be very involved when we were able to get ahold of her but when the time came for the rehearsal dinner and wedding day she and the staff at the venue were very rude and discourteous.

Wedding Date 09-09-2016
Glenross is beautiful but the wedding planner was difficult to work with. In the months leading up to my wedding I would email and ask questions occasionally and would either receive no response or a short unhelpful response. I asked if I could meet my DJ there and she responded it was going to rain and they were going to close the course although the course was very much open when we got there. I thought it was just me but going into our rehearsal dinner which was suppose to serve 30 of my guests a salad and pizza buffet they had 3 pizzas. We asked for an open bar for our guest an after about 30 minutes of everyone buying their own drinks we asked the planner and she responded that we needed to open our own tab and ask the guests to put their drinks under our name. We asked for 3 more and they gave us 1. When my mother asked where the other two were they said that the cake I brought should be enough. Then when I showed up to do my first look my wedding photographer met me at the door telling me the wedding planner told her we were not allowed on the golf course to take our wedding party photos. She came out and yelled at my photographer in the middle of trying to capture a few photos around the club house. Last but not least the bar closes for an hour during dinner. My wedding party went to get water to eat with their meals and it was out on the table. They were told that the bar was closed. They asked for water and were told no. They went behind the bar and got their own water and yelled at the planner stating they could not deny my guests water with dinner. Needless to say I was shocked at the treatment after spending a large sum of money on my special day.

If you plan to have your reception in the summer, then DO NOT have it at Glenross!! On the warm days outside, it is warmer inside their venue and our family members were so uncomfortable they left before dinner and immediately after! I am extremely disappointed with how the treatment of guests and ourselves has been handled that I hope no others go there to be treated the way our friends & family were.

This is such a wonderful place for a reception! They have wonderful food (we had chicken cordon bleu and stuffed beef with salad and a baked potato bar), and they just did some great renovations (brand new wooden dance floor right in the center of it all!). We had our own attendant just for the bride and groom, and we even got to ride out on the golf course on carts with our photographer for sunset pictures! Such a perfect night.

This is such a wonderful place for a reception!
