Lisa and the team at Goose Island were truly incredible. We had an amazingly smooth process with this venue and could not recommend it enough. At every corner they were willing to be flexible and accommodate things we might need, answer any questions and make room for some very untraditional events through our wedding. Everything was seamless and perfect and we could not have asked for a better venue or team. Goose Island was already a huge part of our lives, but now it forever will be. We love these people so much and again, we highly recommend this venue. Reviewed on 01-11-2023

EXCELLENT venue experience! As the event producer for Green Spoon Kitchen, I can’t recommend Goose Island Barrel House enough! We recently partnered as the catering team for a 130 guest wedding and it was fantastic! Lisa Carlson and her crew were friendly, collaborative, professional and so fun to work with! The venue itself is not only a beautiful space but is also well appointed (amazing kitchen, huge bar, parking, great restrooms for guests, beautiful tables and chairs, valet and security team). From the start Lisa was responsive to questions, clear with the details, and flexible. She really made sure that the many vendors who came together for this wedding were set up for success, and it showed. If you have an upcoming event and are still in search of the perfect space, don’t miss out on this venue. We are really looking forward to working there again soon!! Reviewed on 28-09-2023

My husband and I got married here last month, and it was a phenomenal experience. We decided to have both our ceremony and reception here, and I would highly recommend it as a beautiful place to get married. There was plenty of space for our guests, and the photos turned out beautiful with a gorgeous backdrop of barrels, exposed brick, and chandeliers with warm lighting. We received tons of compliments on how cool the venue was. Also, the beer was great and received tons of compliments on the selection as well. Beyond how pretty the space is, Lisa was our Venue Coordinator and she knocked it out of the park. Any questions we had, she responded promptly and was very pleasant. She was also flexible and accommodating with requests we had. We never had to worry because she was on top of everything throughout the entire process and we knew we were in good hands. The staff that worked our event also were super warm to us and our guests, and they did an amazing job helping our day run smoothly. If you are thinking of this as a venue, I could not recommend it enough! Reviewed on 30-07-2023

The Goose Island Barrel Warehouse was INCREDIBLE! Lisa the venue manager was amazing and helped us make our dream day become a reality from our first meeting a year prior all the way to the big day. The venue itself is gorgeous and made for the perfect setting to our boho/ industrial-chic theme. The main room is large enough to accommodate the ceremony and reception (with tables and dance floor) with very minimal room-flip (~110 people), the side/ smaller room made for a perfect entrance space for the procession and the wedding party entrance, as well as a great place for pictures. We also used it for the dinner service grazing boards and with multiple entrance/ exit areas, the flow through went very smoothly. The kitchen space- I can honestly say my caterer gasped in excitement when she saw it. It's very modern with all the accomodations/ equiptment they needed and best yet it has a big window into the action when you're coming down the hallway to the bathrooms that the guests loved stopping to view. Above all, the ambiance was just incredible. It's big enough to have everyone fit comfortably and speeches/ music could be heard anywhere in the main space, but not too big to where it feels empty/ not intimate. The wooden barrels, exposed brick, beamed ceilings and dimming chandeliers provided such an ideal setting that I didn't need to spend much on decorations. Everything from the space itself to the extremely kind and accommodating staff was just perfect. I would recommend this 10 out of 10 times to everyone!! Reviewed on 27-07-2023
