Grace Island. A Private Island in the Thimbles
Named by the New York Times as "One of the best places on Earth," Grace Island is a luxurious wedding venue on the private island of Pot Is in Stanford, CT. Constructed in 1850 under a different name, Grace Island has been the home to numerous weddings as well as hosting world leaders and members of royal families. The Thimble Islands is a group of archipelagos off the coast of Branford and Guilford, and Grace Island is just a 10-minute ferry ride from the mainland at Stony Creek. The mansion itself, the 'Queen of the Thimbles,' is a 6,500-square-foot residence housing 11 bedrooms so your wedding party can reside under one roof. The venue can comfortably accommodate up to 250 guests for your wedding celebration. The team at Grace Island is more than happy to hear from you, and you can contact them directly by phone, email, or through their website. They also encourage you to hop on a boat, visit the venue, and see it yourself.
