Graceland’s Chapel in the Woods sits on the serene and historic grounds surrounding Elvis Presley’s Graceland estate. The Graceland Campus offers over 125,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space to accommodate events up to 2500. We booked our December wedding in the late spring. Through this time, we went through 3 coordinators. The second coordinator used our signatures to amend a document without our approval before being fired. The first coordinator told us everything wrong, and the third coordinator worked back and forth trying to make what the first coordinator promised come true. There was no notice when the first coordinator was fired - I called and emailed for about a week before getting the second coordinator on the line. He had my date wrong, time wrong, and services needed wrong. This venue would be good for those eloping and that have no specific plans in mind, and for those who have big pockets. While the final coordinator we had was nice, the details were lacking, with things such as them not playing my wedding playlist before the event. The livestream was not operating when we were there, and we were not given notice about it until after the fact - we had elderly visitors waiting that ending up watching on FaceTime… and they did not record it for posting later, even though they could have. The wedding turned out beautiful because of the venue itself, but the support from Graceland was lacking. It is important to note that there are several different entities that don’t work together well: the chapel coordinator, the hotel coordinator, the food coordinator, the Graceland tour coordinators (for taking pictures at the mansion), the photographer, etc. I would expect that if I am booked with the chapel that the wedding coordinator would be the liaison to ensure everything went smoothly. I had to work with each group separately and piece together what I needed booked. Again, if you are just needing a simple place to elope - you cannot beat this location. But if you are wanting a bigger wedding, unless there has been a change in coordinators/processes, it is not worth the headache and hassle.

we booked here with less than a week until our wedding date. It was great. Even though the capacity was down to 50, we only invited about 6 people. The venue does livestream so we had over 100 ppl join that way. The coordinator, Vivian, was awesome. She helped us handle everything. We spent our honeymoon night at the guest house. I definitely recommend.
