We had our wedding reception in July 2022 at The Mountaineering Club in the Graduate Seattle and it was the smoothest part of our big day! The staff were helpful from the very beginning of the process, working closely with us to figure out various options that would make the day truly special and personal to us, and answering all our questions promptly. It was really nice to deal with just one place since they provided almost everything for the reception, including good food, music, and wonderful cocktails. There was enough seating for our ~70 guests, with options for both sun and some shade in the outdoor spaces. The day-of staff were also wonderful, checking in on us to keep us updated or ask a few questions discretely to keep everything going according to plan. They coordinated with the recommended decorator and the cake delivery on the day so that was all seamless.The lobby is gorgeous for pictures so we had both First Look pictures before the ceremony and marriage license signing pictures there after the ceremony. Taking the special elevator up to the Mountaineering Club also made our guests feel extra special, and we loved the renting out the whole space meant that we could include our friends with kids.Of course, the views are simply amazing from The Mountaineering Club, almost 360 degrees! Looking back on our wedding day after a few weeks have passed, we are really happy that we chose the Graduate Seattle for our reception!

My wedding reception was in the Hotel Deca ballroom and it was an amazing night. Everything was perfect, the staff was so flexible and supportive. Jess, our event coordinator, was great at keeping our multiple requests in line especially since I was planning the wedding from out of town. The space seems unassuming by day but in the evening, it looked extremely classy and set the mood.

Perfect venue for our wedding. Tony's catering did an awesome job and I didn't have to worry about anything that day. The only thing that was difficult was communication prior to the event. It was sometimes difficult to get a hold of them because they were so busy.

Tony from Tony's Catering was wonderful and a joy to work with. He made creating a great menu and our dream wedding a reality. We had so much fun planning and making this happen.;Don't invite more people than the place can hold. We had about 135 and that was perfect. I wouldn't try to fit many more than that.

Gabrielle Sweet (Manager) I started with the Graduate Seattle in October 2021! Born and raised in Tacoma, WA, I am so excited to be a part of this historic Seattle hotel and this unapologetically unique hotel group. Prior to joining the Graduate, I was in San Diego coordinating weddings at a winery where we did a minimum of 50 weddings each year. The I went to the most premier catering company in San Diego where I serviced weddings, corporate events and large-scale sporting events. I've done it all and I'm excited to bring your vision to life at the Graduate Seattle.
