Graeme Park Reviews

I had my wedding at Graeme Park on September 24, 2023 and it was an amazing day despite the weather! It ended up raining which moved our ceremony in the tent, but we made it work. I was excited to have the ceremony behind the Keith House, but I made sure we got some Bridal Portraits in the area instead. Beth was super helpful, kind, and informative the entire process! She was easy to get in contact with and willing to answer any questions I had about the wedding day and overall process. My husband and I were looking for something affordable and Graeme Park is on the cheaper side compared to other venues. The tent is huge and was exactly what I wanted for the reception. We only had about 75 people, so there was more than enough space. We were able to fit our yard games off to the side since we couldn’t use the grass area. Due to all of the upgrades not included in the package (farmhouse tables, wooden chairs, linens, etc) we ended up spending a little more than I would have wanted to. However, it was worth it to me to pay the difference because the farmhouse look was what I was going for. This venue is definitely a lot of DIY, so I would recommend having people help you the day of the wedding. Jodi from Bucksmont was easy to communicate with over phone and email with any questions I had and everyone I contacted was nice and helpful! They were very accommodating when we needed heaters last minute due to the rainy weather. Bucksmont started removing things from the tent from the previous wedding around 9am so we couldn’t start decorating until after they were done. You were able to rent linens and materials from Bucksmont and we had to set everything up ourselves with the decor. We ended up going with an outside caterer (Imperial’s catering), and we were able to meet with Beth and the caterer at the venue to get all of the details squared away. One of the reasons I chose Graeme Park was because they didn’t force you to use an in-house caterer or pay a crazy amount of money for food. The venue does not have a getting ready space, so we had to book 2 hotel rooms for the guys and the girls the morning of. There are a lot of hotels in the area so finding a space to get ready wasn’t an issue. We had our MOH stay in the other room the night before since we had to pay for 2 nights to be able to use the room during the time we needed on the wedding day. Overall, I would recommend Graeme Park for your wedding day if you’re going for more of the DIY route. The space is definitely beautiful and you have a lot of flexibility in what you want to do and how you want things to go. Reviewed on 07-01-2024

Beautiful wedding! My daughter and new son-in-law were married at Graeme Park on September 30, 2023. The venue provided a spacious and picturesque setting that was truly unique. We had separate settings for each event: the ceremony, that was held outside of the Keith House, cocktail hour, that took place in the patio area, and reception, that was under the spacious, beautifully lit, and gently heated, white tent. Each with it’s own natural and beautiful ambiance.Beth MacCausland, the director of the facility, provided all of the support, advice, and accessibility needed from the moment we fell in love with Graeme Park, right through to the wedding day itself.“Best Day of my Life”, said the bride. What else can I say? Reviewed on 08-10-2023

The setting was beautiful and Beth was great! I would definitely recommend Graeme Park as a wedding venue! Reviewed on 20-08-2023

Had our wedding at Graeme Park in May. Beth, the Director of the park, was very helpful when it came to all the details and figuring out all the vendors we'd have to hire. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, and the Keith house and wooded surroundings made for great scenery. The bathrooms were also kept neat and tidy during our event. Also, we were able to come back the next day to grab the few decorations and things we'd left behind, and everything was stacked neatly for us to take home. Highly recommend for an affordable venue in a great outdoor setting. Reviewed on 03-06-2023
Alex Tottser(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 29-10-2022 Graeme Park is an absolute perfect venue for any wedding. Kat Kamowski(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 15-10-2022 We got married at Graeme 10/15/22 and it was fabulous! This venue is great for the couple who prefers to be more hands-on and DIY. They have a list of preferred vendors, but at the end of the day, almost every choice is up to you (except for rentals, handled exclusively through Bucks-Mont Party Rental- they are also great). Beth, the venue coordinator, is extremely attentive and down-to-earth. She responded quickly to all of our questions and worked with us to accommodate all of our requests. Our fall date was the perfect pick - the trees at Graeme were full of color, the weather cooperated perfectly, and the solid tent floor showed no signs of strain from our guests' energetic dancing. Our added fire pit rental, tended by Beth, was a huge hit when the sun set and the air chilled. Beth also worked seamlessly with all of our other vendors to make the day as smooth as possible. Don't be daunted by the extensive venue contract - most of the contents are fairly standard for the industry, with some minor caveats that take into consideration the historic nature of the property (restrictions non-biodegradable confetti, etc.). We received many compliments on the venue and it was a great price at under $3k (not including rentals). Trust your gut and visit Graeme - the website doesn't do it justice! Reviewed on 24-10-2022
Kaytie Nungesser(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 07-05-2022 We just had our wedding reception at Graeme Park on 07 May 2022, and I would recommend Graeme Park to all couples who are looking for a reception venue! The staff was so accommodating and you can truly design the venue to fit your style. The tent was absolutely stunning inside with the billowing ceilings and the flooring! The best thing to come with the venue is Beth MacCausland - she is quite genuinely a dream to work with. She is so personable, kind, and flexible. She makes the planning process so easy and fun! Kimberly Ziegler(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-10-2021 My husband and I could not be happier with our choice to hold our wedding at Graeme Park! We were set on an outdoor wedding and were over the moon when we found this beautiful venue. Being able to host the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one place was amazing and made everything go so smoothly and easily for us AND our guests. The tent is gorgeous and we were glad to know that we could still feel \"outside\" for the reception but that we had cover in the event of rain. (Although we were lucky and had perfect weather!) Beth, who runs the park, was the most kind and helpful person throughout the whole process, especially after we had to postpone due to COVID. She is a baker too! We hired her make our cake (cupcakes, actually) and they were SO DELICIOUS! Definitely book her for your cake as well! In closing, I could not imagine a better place to have a wedding... I highly recommend this venue to anyone and everyone! Reviewed on 12-10-2021
Alison Liney(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-08-2021 I can't recommend this venue more. Our guests were raving over how beautiful the whole event was. It is a gorgeous venue with sprawling grounds, beautiful pastoral scenery, and best of all: Beth. She runs the grounds and after meeting her (back in 2019!!) I was hooked on this venue. Beth is everything you could hope for, funny, honest, incredibly sweet and kind. We were so lucky to have her help us through rescheduling our wedding (3 times!). She was gracious every single time. Every email she was so calming and nice. If you want a venue with a person who will care about you, this is the place you want! I can't thank her enough for making this wedding so spectacularly beautiful and stress-free. Book this venue!!!!!! Thank you Beth!!!! Reviewed on 27-08-2021
Caroline Colavita(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-10-2019 Very glad we chose Graeme Park after countless hours searching for the perfect indoor/outdoor venue. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception on site. The location provides numerous areas for beautiful photos on a nice day. (We had good weather, but visited on a rainy day and the options for back up there are limited). The reason I took one star off was simply due to pricing and restrictions. The cost for the park itself is very reasonable, but there are a few things to note. You pay for a certain block of hours, we needed to extend the time to accommodate the ceremony and paid extra. Since we had over a certain amount of guests we had to pay extra (over $1k) for bathrooms to be brought in. The latest anyone can be on site is 10 PM since this is a residential area. You also are given a list of approved vendors - we needed to get approval to bring in the vendors we wanted. And you must rent all other items through BuxMont party supplies. If you have the time, are organized and patient and want to do a complete DIY wedding - this is the place for you. I ended up hiring a day of coordinator to handle all of the tiny details that are needed for this location. Reviewed on 05-12-2019
Y W(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 15-06-2019 Graeme Park and Beth are gems! We held our ceremony-only event here and while we loved our reception venue as well, we wished we found this place sooner! It would have been a serious contender! All my guests loved the open space, green backdrop for photos, and the adorable rustic vibe. Now, as for Beth — she was so kind, attentive, and helpful throughout the entire process. She will go out of her way to ensure her couples are happy and when you meet her in person, you immediately feel like you’ve known her for years. I truly enjoyed working with Beth and hope to see her again when I visit! P.s. Graeme is a “public” area but it’s so secluded. You may see a straggler or two taking a walk, but Beth’s team will guide them away from your event to ensure it feels like the space is all yours! Reviewed on 22-06-2019

We used a golf cart to transport guests who had difficulty walking, but other guests enjoyed the brief and scenic walk from the historic house to the tent. Perfect for families and Instagramers.
