Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay was our dream spot for our wedding!! My husband and I, along with our families and friends are all from out of town, which made our wedding a whole weekend event! The staff at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay was the absolute best!! Tamara and Colin from the front desk went above and beyond for us the entire time we were there. Along with the amazing bellman who helped us move spaces and all our decor several times!! The catering mangers and the bar tenders were excellent and all our guest raved about the food and drinks! Would highly recommend for any wedding!

My daughter had her wedding reception at the Hyatt. It was one of the best decisions we made for her wedding. Many of our guests traveled from out of state and were very impressed with the property. The location was very convenient for the airport and nightlife. The resort itself provided a wonderful Florida experience, showcasing the water & sunsets. Everyone enjoyed the pools and outdoor amenities. The reception was wow … wow … wow!! Caitlin, our Event Manger, was fantastic to work with from our initial meeting until the last guest left. She made the process very easy. She was very attentive, communicated well, was very knowledgeable, and pleasant to work with. Caitlin and her team worked hard to make sure that every vision my daughter had was obtainable. Caitlin had a good chemistry with our planner which made the entire event run seamlessly.The food served during the cocktail hour and dinner was great, all our guests complimented it because it did not taste like “wedding food” but more restaurant quality (thank you Chef). The portions were good, no one was left hungry. Thank you Caitlin and crew

The Grand Hyatt was absolutely amazing. From the moment we met with Caitlin we knew that’s where we were going to have the wedding . I had my three day Indian Catholic/Pakistani Muslim fusion wedding at the Hyatt. I would do it again in a heartbeat. The venue itself is spacious and pretty. It is easy to access from the airport, with a free shuttle for out of town guests. They allow outside catering. The wedding coordinator Caitlin was responsive, organized, flexible, and very pleasant to work with. They went above and beyond in their level of service, whether it was instructing their team to practice the specific napkin fold I wanted at the reception, to modifying their brunch package to include turkey sausage instead of pork. Everything went super smoothly on the weekend of because of their experience and professionalism. There were certain things about the price which I wished were different, such as each soda we served costing $6, or parking in the garage having a daily/overnight charge. However, with large luxurious venues, such things are probably to be expected. I would highly recommend purchasing a Sunday brunch package as a nice way for guests to unwind from the wedding weekend festivities and say goodbye, as brunch is hosted at Armani's and the view of the bay is spectacular. Another perk of having my wedding here was getting four free nights at any Hyatt in the world to use for my honeymoon!

Amy Otte, the wedding planner of the Hyatt, was amazing and went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was everything we wanted and dreamed of. She was amazing! We can not say enough good things about this venue and the team. Our guest and ourselves could not stop talking about how beautiful everything turned out. From the ceremony on the roof top of Armanis, the reception in Armanis restaurants, and our stay in the casita suite. Amy Otte is amazing! She made our stress level almost non existent. Amy helped us plan and put together a flawless wedding! Every penny was worth it. I can not imagine having had our wedding anywhere else!

I just had our wedding at the Grand Hyatt on 11/15/15, and the best way to sum it up, everything I had envisioned for the past year and a half came to life. I originally had another coordinator I had been working with for a while, but she ended up taking a new position almost in the middle of the year, I did not meet Kristi Cowling until July of this year. With the short time of knowing her, and filling her in on everything the other coordinator knew, she pulled off one of the most beautiful nights I have ever witnessed. Thank you Kristi for dealing with my millions of questions and little details! The entire staff did above and beyond of what they were asked to do! All of our guests have continued to tell us how amazing the food was and what a great time they all had. The views are spectacular, you can't beat this place!

I wish that the bellmen were a little more flexible with our hired shuttle service. Everything else was great and the value of the hotel is definitely worth booking here.

I had my wedding at the Grand Hyatt November 9, 2014. It was perfect! The ceremony was on the Oyster Catch Deck and the reception was in Armani's Restaurant, both are very picturesque. The coordinator for the hotel, Marianna, was wonderful to work with. She is very organized and helped keep me on schedule as well. The tasting held for our menu was very professional and reassured us our food would be perfect for the wedding. Marianna also helped coordinate a rehersal and was onsite the day of the wedding to ensure all the vendors and wedding party knew where to go and what time. Basically if you book at the Hyatt you do not need a wedding coordinator!! Armani's was great alternative to a ballroom, it provides bay views and downtown skyline of Tampa. There is a great patio area guest can float in between there and the restaurant. The only downside is only available on Sundays. All of our guests truely enjoyed their stay at the hotel as well, just make sure to reserve enough rooms because the hotel sold out quickly and some of my guests had to stay at nearby hotels. If I had to start all over and replan a wedding I would select the Grand Hyatt no questions asked!

Mariana was absolutely amazing to work with! The entire experience at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay more than exceeded my expectations. Not only is the property an absolutely beautiful venue for a wedding reception, but the service was exceptional. The food and drinks were amazing, the rooms were excellent and the guests were so happy with the service the entire weekend. The staff treated us so well the entire weekend, not just the night of the wedding reception. They went above and beyond at this venue. We highly recommend this hotel for any similar events and can't wait to return to the hotel.

Mariana was absolutely amazing to work with! The entire experience at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay more than exceeded my expectations. Not only is the property an absolutely beautiful venue for a wedding reception, but the service was exceptional. The food and drinks were amazing, the rooms were excellent and the guests were so happy with the service the entire weekend. The staff treated us so well the entire weekend, not just the night of the wedding reception. They went above and beyond at this venue. We highly recommend this hotel for any similar events and can't wait to return to the hotel.

We just had our wedding at this venue on August 2. We worked with Mariana Miranda, who was amazing! She was incredibly attentive, helpful, and always had a smile on her face. She genuinely cared about our wedding day and wanted me to have my vision of the day. She went out of her way to make sure that we were completely satisfied. All of the staff was helpful as well. The venue was gorgeous and the food was actually the best wedding/banquet food I've had! We just had our wedding at this venue on August 2. We worked with Mariana Miranda, who was amazing! She was incredibly attentive, helpful, and always had a smile on her face. She genuinely cared about our wedding day and wanted me to have my vision of the day. She went out of her way to make sure that we were completely satisfied. All of the staff was helpful as well. The venue was gorgeous and the food was actually the best wedding/banquet food I've had! I had many guests rave about the venue and even one guest say they wanted to host their anniversary party there. I highly recommend this venue. Thanks for making it the day of my dreams!

We stayed in a Casita and it was quiet, romantic, and tranquil. It was a great way to start our Honeymoon. Would recommend it. Room service wasn't as good as I wanted it to be but still better then leaving the room:)

I got married on the terrace of Armani's on the 14th floor of the grand Hyatt. It was absolutely GORGEOUS!! We made all plans through their catering manager, Marianna, and she was so sweet and so helpful and super accommodating! My guests said their hotel experience was wonderful and that the staff was so nice. Wouldn't change a thing!

We made all plans through their catering manager, Marianna, and she was so sweet and so helpful and super accommodating! We chose to have our wedding at Armani's restaurant on the top floor of the Grand Hyatt. There are some limitations to this as opposed to the normal ballroom style room; Armani's it only available for use on Sundays because the restaurant is open the rest of the week. And there's only space for about 100 guests max.\rThat being said it was like a dream. We had our ceremony on the newly revamped balcony, then guests spent cocktail hour in the bar/lounge area and dinner was served in the main dining area. The raised middle portion of the restaurant was converted into a dance floor. We added minimal decorations because the restaurant itself is already beautifully and elegantly decorated, not to mention the view of the sunset over the bay from the 14th floor is breath taking.\rThe staff and service were excellent. Our coordinator Mariana was so sweet and just extremely good at what she does. She made organizing everything seem effortless. When we went to taste our menu the chef came out to tell us about every dish and how it was prepared like we were on an episode of Top Chef (and the food was SO GOOD). And one of the servers who helped us at the tasting was so nice we joked that she should work the wedding too. I was so happy when she not only actually came to work at the wedding but looked after me and my bridal party specifically and seemed really happy to be there. \rWe had looked at a lot of other venues and this was the best value to us for the quality and completeness of service for the cost.\r

Mariana, the wedding coordinator, is fabulous. She mad sure everything ran smoothly on my wedding day and even spent all morning setting up my decor and centerpieces for me! The wait staff during dinner was very courteous and polite. The same staff who also did the rehearsal were very helpful and attentive to all of our guests needs. We had a kosher wedding and the food was delicious! We recieved so many compliments! We had the ceremony outside on the Oystercatchers deck and it made for beautiful scenery and AMAZING pictures. Honestly, the gorgeous views and pictures we got from the dock, nature walk and gazebo are priceless. Our pictures are beautiful.

The wait staff during dinner was very courteous and polite. The same staff who also did the rehearsal were very helpful and attentive to all of our guests needs. We had a kosher wedding and the food was delicious! We recieved so many compliments! We had the ceremony outside on the Oystercatchers deck and it made for beautiful scenery and AMAZING pictures. Honestly, the gorgeous views and pictures we got from the dock, nature walk and gazebo are priceless. Our pictures are beautiful.

I had my wedding here and it was beautiful. Alexis the coordinator is great and so helpful. They were completely willing to work with our budget and easily made any changes we needed. They are very concerned with making sure everything is the way you want. The service and food is outstanding and we got so many compliments. This is a 4 diamond hotel and it shows.

The staff at The Grand Hyatt did a superb job with handling all our wedding needs and wants. Alexis, along with the serving staff, in catering was fantastic at her job and made sure every detail was looked after. The venue is beautiful and slightly secluded from the other hotels while still getting the \"off the water\" effect. I highly recommend this venue to others.

Even though we only spent a little more than the minimum for the event room, we experienced the best customer service! We had a lot of people coming from out of town, and it was very convienent staying there. They treated the entire bridal party like celebrities the whole weekend. The only bad thing about the rooms is that a standard room has no refrigerator. We did our ceremony on the waterfront by Oystercatchers and it was beautiful. We did the reception inside in one of the ballrooms. They have a shuttle service that can drive everyone back and forth. Everyone LOVED the food too. There tons of places on the grounds to take beautiful wedding pictures. Alexis, their events coordinator, is a delight to work with. Everyone at the reception was talking about how great the wait staff was. We had an amazing day, and I am so glad we chose the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay as our wedding site!!
