The Grand Marquis is a wedding venue located in Old Bridge, NJ. Purpose-built for celebrations of all kinds and scales, its extensive facilities offer everything you need for your big day. The property’s helpful staff is on-hand to support you throughout your planning experience and on the day of the event itself. Celebrating your wedding day at The Grand Marquis is to be spoilt for choice with two opulent ballroom settings available. The Dome is a grand and spectacular stage on which to host your ceremony or reception. Its sturdy columns support an expansive rotunda which opens the room up, creating a sense of limitless space and unbridled extravagance. At its peak hangs a lavish chandelier that casts light down upon a marble dance floor. Here you guests can dance the night away, taking breaks to chat and grab a drink at the ballroom bar. The Marquis Ballroom is a more subtle yet equally glamorous room in which to gather your friends and family. Featuring an oval dance floor, its marble columns and multiple chandeliers are sure to impress your guests. You can choose to organize an outdoor ceremony on the grounds of the venue, its landscaped gardens. With a backdrop of Greco-style columns and an eye-catching fountain, it is ideal for taking stunning wedding photographs. The Grand Marquis welcomes events of over 300 guests, ensuring no one need miss out on your occasion. Furniture including tables and chairs is included with the rental of the premises. Catering can be provided by the in-house kitchen team, with classic dishes and top-shelf libations on offer. The day off, they made sure we ate, everything went just how we wanted, and that we were genuinely happy. It’s an awesome venue. Also— the food is delicious. Couldn’t recommend more.

If you are looking at this page, you can scroll no more just choose them! Everything at Grand Marquis turned out perfectly. They went above and beyond just to make things right for you! I had to say, I was an extremely nervous bride. Through out the wedding planning process, many things I was worried, but Sydney (our event specialist) she just know how to handle everything and bride like me lol. She answered all my questions, and whatever I requested, her answer was always \"Yes/ of course/ Easy!/That shouldn't be a problem/ yeah!\". Haha she is an angel. The venue is elegant , the Dome Room is just stunning! the staff is friendly and super helpful , the manager is very professional, even the food is amazing! My guests just can't stop complimenting about the meals! The pricing they offer is very very reasonable.Many important decisions we made throughout the wedding process, Grand Marquis was my best decision!

I recently held my reception at the Grand Marquis on May 5, 2023. The night was flawless from start to finish. Sydney, our event specialist, was absolutely AMAZING in helping us plan an incredible day! We can’t thank her enough for all that she did for us and are so happy to call her a friend. Dyl, our Maitre D was beyond attentive and responsive throughout our entire reception. Jose made sure we had the BEST bartenders that kept our guests on the dance floor partying all night. Overall, the entire staff was wonderful and we couldn’t recommend them more! Our guests had a fantastic time 😊

We got married on 3.26.23 and knew from the second we walked into the Grand Marquis that this was our place - we truly don’t have enough words to explain how incredible they all were during our whole wedding process. We were blessed enough to work with Sydney and on wedding day worked with Dyl and Nayia - and what an experience!! Sydney is a gem and we knew we would be in great hands the second we met her radiant soul. Dyl and Nayia day off - we can’t say enough about them either! Between the class, elegance, incredible service, and overall experience we would recommend the Grand Marquis to anybody looking for a venue. It was truly our vision coming true and we can’t thank them enough !

Everything was absolutely phenomenal for our wedding this past weekend. We can't thank the Grand Marquis team enough, from the bottom of our hearts. It still feels like a dream having gotten married at this gorgeous venue.I'm so thankful for Carolyn, Jessica, Jen, and the rest of their team. They were well organized and a well run wedding machine. Super accommodating and outstanding professionals. The highlight of my night was everyone helping to bustle my dress while Carolyn and Jessica helped me get to eat the cocktail hour food! Carolyn is especially the GOAT - she was great to work with, managed my large family well, and I was able to communicate any last minute onsite changes with her.Our guests were raving about how beautiful the venue is. But especially, they were raving about the food and the \"grand imperial cocktail hour spread\". Lastly, I am so very thankful for Jess our event specialist. We could not have had the best day of our lives without her help organizing this. Thank you again for everything. We are undeniably proud to be a Grand Marquis couple.

As a photographer, I was truly impressed with The Grand Marquise as a wedding venue. The ballrooms were absolutely stunning and provided a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony and reception. The hallway was also a great location for taking photos! But beyond the physical beauty of the venue, the staff, led by manager Dyl, were incredibly attentive and made sure everything was perfect for the wedding. They were a pleasure to work with and truly went above and beyond to make the day special for the couple. I would highly recommend The Grand Marquise to any couple looking for a luxurious and memorable wedding venue.

Over all the venue was great. My only issue is the person in charge of my wedding from booking to the day before the wedding my event specialist changed 4 different times and they never told me. I had To figure it out on my own. Other than that, the venue was beautiful, food was great! Our guests are still talking about it.

Wow! Grand Marquis was amazing to us from the moment we stepped inside to take a tour all the way through the very end of our wedding night. We were initially blown away during our tour when every person we had been in contact with was so accommodating and friendly. They provided champagne and snacks while discussing dates and truly catered to us from the very beginning. They were super easy to work with while planning. The day of we had Carolyn as our maitre’d and Naya for our bridal attendant. Naya was so helpful and bustled my dress and was always there to help. Carolyn was PHENOMENAL! She truly helped bring our vision to life and was by our sides the entire day/night making sure everything was perfect. It all turned out even more beautiful than I could have imagined. Our guests absolutely raved about all of the food. There were so many options and the desserts were just out of this world. I wish we could relive this night over and over!

Even though our wedding was far from perfect. What’s meant to be, will be. The venue is beautiful and the cocktail hour was Phenomenal.Vendors were only aloud 1.5 hours to set up because venue had an event prior. Guests from prior event still had access to bridal suites even thought their event was over. It was very awkward having strangers open doors when we were getting dressed looking for their belongings that had already been moved. DJ had technical difficulties and ceremony started 30min late. We didn’t get nearly as many photos as we wanted because parents were supposed to meet in bridal suite after ceremony but some how made it to cocktail hour. Scotch was to not be served to my father but a female bartender broke under pressure and served him 3 drinks even though a male bartender was denying guest any dark liquor (Miscommunication). My father got very drunk and almost did not make it to the father daughter dance.We didn’t use some of the decorations that were purchased outside out of florist because florist and venue were not responsible (Hire a decorator or wedding planner). We heard from guest that the dinner was great but the steak was not a favorite. I also lost detachable sleeves to my wedding dress (make sure your organized and have people in place to grab your belongings after the event).We rented a super car for our getaway vehicle. When my fiancé arrived at the venue the guys at the valet parking told him it was $20 for VIP parking to keep the car in the front. Not thinking anything of it, he paid. Later when a manger heard of this, he explained this was not true and returned the money to him. The venue needs better communication. One person says one thing, and the next, something different. It was disorganized and chaotic but we are told this is the norm. We booked two years ago and had three different event coordinators over that time. Things got confusing and lost between the transitions but it was overall a great wedding and beside those little hick-ups that do not matter at the end of the day, we loved everything. Thank you to Sydney who made all of our requests happen with the short time she had helping us plan our special day!

Having our my wedding at the Grand Marquis was the best decision I could have made! Not only is the venue gorgeous but the staff is so amazing and kind! I worked with Elizabeth for a all my planning needs and she was so organized, accommodating and full of great suggestions throughout the process. I had a complete meltdown 30 seconds before I was supposed to walk down the aisle and she was there to calm down and dab my tears(without messing up my makeup night I add lol) I can’t thank her enough for everything! I can go on about her and the rest of the staff for days, but let’s get into the food!! I had a rather large bridal party and the bridal attendant was nice enough ti bring food down to the suite for us to eat before the ceremony which was amazing! I myself barely ate at cocktail hour lol but what I did have was bomb! I’m Caribbean’s and I really wanted food from my culture to be served and they freaking nailed it! From jerk and curry chicken to large oxtails everyone was in heaven!! And don’t get me started and the braised short rib, I wana come back just to order that to go for dinner lol. My wedding was a month ago and ppl are still raving about the food and dessert extravaganza. The only thing I really wish would have been different was that I could keep the bar in the cocktail hour room open during the reception because my family likes to drink and only having the one bar open made the line long so the dance floor would feel empty at times while everyone was in line. Other than that I can’t complain I literally had a ball and would love to relive it every day. Would 100% recommend this venue to anyone of my family, friends, or clients!

I don’t even know where to begin. We knew we loved this venue from the first tour. Our wedding was my actual fairytale I dreamed of my entire life. Michelle Mullen was the MOST exceptional wedding coordinator. Anything we wanted and needed was done and then some. She made everything was set up how we requested and it all ran smooth and had such great contact with her. Joe the maitre d was absolutely phenomenal he made sure everyone was well taken care of all night and Kiara my bridal attendant was amazing as well. The entire grand marquis staff was unreal. Everyone that attended cannot stop raving about the food especially cocktail hour and dessert. I forever will be eternally grateful for this staff and I will NEVER forget it. I really hope to work with them for more events in the future. Look NO FURTHER than having your events here you’ll be blown away and not one disappointment. 100000/10

The Grand Marquis is an amazing wedding venue. Elizabeth was my wedding coordinator. She was absolutely amazing. She caterers to all needs and was very detailed. She made us feel special and planned everything according to what we wanted. Thanasis our matrd , was Amazing. The best. Can’t rave enough about him. From start to finish he kept things going. Perfectly. He was attentive, patient and made our day run awesome The food was Amazing! The service was Incredible! The staff were on point at all times! If you ever need to get married or have any special event, please pick the Grand Marquis. I am telling you, they will not disappoint you! Thank you Grand Marquis for making my wedding day special and one I will never forget. Everyone was absolutely AMAZING and Understanding. The Grand Marquis is an amazing wedding venue. Elizabeth was my wedding coordinator. She was absolutely amazing. She caterers to all needs and was very detailed. She made us feel special and planned everything according to what we wanted. Thanasis our matrd , was Amazing. The best. Can’t rave enough about him. From start to finish he kept things going. Perfectly. He was attentive, patient and made our day run awesome The food was Amazing! The service was Incredible! The staff were on point at all times! If you ever need to get married or have any special event, please pick the Grand Marquis. I am telling you, they will not disappoint you! Thank you Grand Marquis for making my wedding day special and one I will never forget. Everyone was absolutely AMAZING and Understanding. I cannot say enough amazing things about my wedding experience at the Grand Marquis. I got married on 4/22/22 and had the best day. Our entire processes from booking to planning and everything in between was so organized and easy. Whenever we needed to communicate with the venue or had any questions they were answered promptly. The staff is so accommodating and friendly. They literally waited on me and my husband and our families hand and foot- we wanted for nothing the entire day. They anticipated our needs and took care of them before we even had to ask. We had a lot of special and complicated requests and the staff accommodated us without question or protest- they seemed genuinely happy to help in any way they could. The venue is beautiful, and the food was incredible, but it was truly the staff that made our day so stress free and special. Weddings can be stressful- there are so many pieces that need to be taken care of the make sure the day goes as planned- the staff at the grand marquis completely eliminated that stress. My husband and I enjoyed every second of our day because they took care of everything. We are still getting calls from guests telling us it was the best wedding they have ever been to. They are also the most reasonably priced venue in the area and offered SO much food and dessert ! You definitely get a lot for your money. I hope to be a guest at a wedding there in the future because I just want to relive the day and experience the food all over again! I give the venue a 10/10 review- i have not one single complaint !

I am thrilled to leave this venue a review because because they were absolutely incredible to work with. They run like a well-oiled machine and it shows. We trusted them entirely and they made our night run flawlessly. A bridesmaid had made the recommendation and upon visitation, we absolutely knew this was our venue, and not only because of how beautiful it was. We had seen a handful of options prior, but our first interaction with Michelle and the owners blew us away. They’re a family owned and run venue and their hospitality was second to none. We were looking to have a smaller wedding (100-125) and they worked with us on our minimum guest count for the Dome Ballroom which is typically 150 for a Saturday night. We signed the paperwork the next day!I’ll preface with the fact that I’m a pretty detail-oriented person and enjoy planning in general BUT I do not think you need to hire a wedding coordinator if you’re not. Michelle was our assigned point person and she was so sweet, communicative, patient, informative and understanding from start to finish – I could go on and on. She answered our every question and provided suggestions along the way for details we were unsure of. We are SO lucky to have had her by our side. There’s an indoor and outdoor ceremony space, and we were SET on having it outside since the year prior it was so warm that weekend (wishful thinking, we know). Typically, they ask to make a final decision about where the ceremony will take place 48 hours prior to the wedding, but they knew how much we wanted to have it outside, and they actually let us decide at 4pm that day (ceremony was at 6 and they set up both spaces for us!). We were able to use the bridal suite starting at 9AM (for a fee) to get ready and Megan was our amazing bridal attendant - she was SO on top of it! The grounds are gorgeous and there’s so many spots to take photos indoors and out. Thanasis was our Maitre D’ and he ran the show that day. He did anything he could to make sure our experience was a positive one and we’re entirely grateful to him and the staff for their impressive communication and execution. The amount of food and variety was actually absurd – we received SO many compliments on our cocktail hour, reception dinner and desert, which was basically another cocktail hour of sweets! Mind you, we didn’t add ANYTHING to the menu besides a to-go package. Bartenders: they understood the assignment All in all, I would one thousand recommend working with The Grand Marquis. We owe them the biggest thank you for making our day so incredibly special and entirely memorable.

My husband and I got married at the Grand Marquis on 2/18/22. We had Jessica as our go-to person and she was extremely helpful and accomodating. The venue itself is just stunning. And the food was amazing. My father-in-law said that the Chateaubriand was the best he's ever had. My Uncle who has been to many weddings in the last few years told my parents that this is the best wedding he has been to. All of our guests were calling us after the wedding raving about the Grand Marquis. Some of them are going to tell their family members who are getting married about this place as well. My husband and I couldn't be happier with how everything went. It really was the wedding of our dreams.

All our guests are still raving about the food!!!With the covid cases rising, they were so accommodating and made things so much easier for us. They worked with us every step of the way to plan our special day and made it so memorable and enjoyable!!!All the staff was so helpful and cooperative especially Jessica, Courtney and Shawn with whom we worked. They helped us with decorating the hall the day before and with cleaning up after the reception. They went out of their way to make things easier for us!! We recommend them to everyone looking for a venue..you will not regret it!!!!

This venue made it so much easier on the wedding planning as they included cake, uplighting, valet parking, linens, and other things I looked over or had not even thought about. The Dome ballroom was absolutely gorgeous so we were able to save on decorations. My husband is a chef by trade and though the food as absolutely fantastic. All of the staff on our wedding day were great about keeping us on schedule but also making sure we had everything we needed. Michelle, our event specialist, was truly a godsend. I couldn't ask for someone better to work with us throughout this entire process. Would highly recommend the Grand Marquis to anyone and everyone currently in the wedding planning phase.

The venue had very good food, was a beautiful place, and was mostly accommodating. The day of the wedding though, there were different things that we requested ahead of time and were not fulfilled the day of. They also kept switching the person who was working directly with us at least three times. The day of security was horrible and terribly understaffed so things did not really go as expected in terms of security. If they had enough staffing and actually fulfilled some of our requests Then it would have been a perfect day. But I can still say it was a pretty good day.

My Event Specialist started with Meghan and then later needed to change to Elizabeth and while the change made me worry at first, Elizabeth did not skip a beat! She assured me everything would go as planned, she was patient and very nice with me. I had 1,000 questions and she answered them all with no problem. She was always super responsive. I never felt neglected.. The Grand Marquis staff helped to put the decor I had out on the day of the wedding and they did a great job! They even packed my things at the end of the night which was a huge help. Tee was my maitre d and Megan was one of the main staff members who helped with my bridal party in the suite. They were both an absolute pleasure. Super kind and patient people because it's hard to rally up a group of people when everyone is doing their own thing. Tee treated me and my husband like VIP and ensured that we had everything we needed and that everything was going as planned and if anything had to change he ran it by me first. These are the things that I will always remember because the Grand Marquis helped to make my day memorable! From the gorgeous venue to the absolute delicious spread of food and very accommodating and kind staff the Grand Marquis was worth every penny and my husband and I do not regret having our wedding here. All of our guest enjoyed themselves and so did we!!! 😊😊😊

We had the absolute worst experience with the grand marquis. Thankfully our guests didn’t notice that the venue didn’t accommodate half of the things discussed including the time line. Let alone not seeing our mAitre d all night until we finally said something. We ended up giving the tip to a server that was with us most of the evening. They opened up the ballroom to our guests before letting us take photos in the room alone. Photos we’ll never get back again and memories we were robbed of. we reviewed everything with them the day before in the meeting and they still missed so much. we agreed the outdoor section wouldn’t be opened until the Viennese hour was so that guests would remain in the main ballroom. But upon arriving the outdoor bar was open during the reception which often led the ballroom empty even though we had spent a ton of money on both a band and dj for entertainment. They sent my wedding party down the aisle in the wrong order, even though I had given them a typed out list of pairs and the specific order. They sat my immediate family on the wrong side, and my immediate family, mother father brothers and grandmother could not see me during the ceremony (again, even though it was discussed) a close friend of ours gave us special martini glasses for the wedding night to which they never returned but gave us an empty box instead. It was an overall awful experience to work with them. There’s so much more to mention but not enough time. Every other vendor really nailed our vision and what we were looking for. They helped us feel safe and well taken care of especially for the money we were paying. Our other vendors were wonderful to work with, but grand marquis fell short. Well below the expectation of mediocre. The venue itself is well taken care of and has great areas to grab pictures, but it wasn’t worth the headache and at the end of it all, we really regretted booking with them. Please be careful booking. If they seem disorganized or confused it’s because they are. Trust your instinct and make a decision you’ll feel better about.

It was an overall awful experience to work with them. There’s so much more to mention but not enough time. Every other vendor really nailed our vision and what we were looking for. They helped us feel safe and well taken care of especially for the money we were paying. Our other vendors were wonderful to work with, but grand marquis fell short. Well below the expectation of mediocre. The venue itself is well taken care of and has great areas to grab pictures, but it wasn’t worth the headache and at the end of it all, we really regretted booking with them. Please be careful booking. If they seem disorganized or confused it’s because they are. Trust your instinct and make a decision you’ll feel better about.

Our wedding at the Grand Marquis in February was nothing short of perfect. We didn't have to worry about anything the day of or leading up to the day of the wedding because they took care of it ALL! Our planner was Kristin and she was the best! Any question I had, any time, any day was answered promptly. I don't know how we would have done it without her or without the staff at the Grand Marquis. My husband and I and bridal party were catered to from the second we stepped into the venue on the day of the wedding until the second we left. They made sure we had food and/or drinks not only during the wedding and cocktail hour but while we were taking pictures as well as the downtime before the ceremony. They literally got us anything we asked for. They also helped set up and then clean up everything.The venue itself is gorgeous. So gorgeous we were even able to take our pictures inside because the weather was not cooperating.AND THE FOOD! We are still hearing people rave about the food. Cocktail hour/dinner/dessert - everything was amazing and I only wish we could go back and do it all over again. Our wedding truly was the best day every and the Grand Marquis made that possible in so many ways - I could go on forever! Having our wedding at the Grand Marquis was quite possibly the best decision we made! We knew once we walked into the building that this place was already filled with so much love that it would be perfect for our day. Our coordinator at the GM, Kristin, was more of a friend by the end of everything than anything! She was extremely patient and made sure that every single detail of our day was everything we could possibly imagine. And she did it all with a smile on her face. We had a winter wedding, and I noticed a beautiful Christmas tree that was in the other room that our reception wasn’t in. She knew how much I loved that tree so she made sure it was transported into our room for the reception. That was just the tip of the iceberg of how much Kristin and everyone at the Grand Marquis did to make our day so special. As for the reception itself, let me just say you need to warn your guests to come hungry! We have been told by every single guest how outrageous the cocktail hour and dessert extravaganza was. The food was delectable and made the night even more memorable! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we were fully satisfied at every point of the night. This courtesy was extended to our guests as any issue that came about was resolved before you knew it. I can’t thank them enough for everything they did for us and our guests! All in all, you will regret it if you do not check out the Grand Marquis for your wedding! They really know what they are doing and will make you feel like you are a part of their family. Thanks to all the wonderful staff and the beautiful venue we had an amazing wedding day! The ballrooms, especially the dome room, is beautiful for pictures and so is the outdoor area.

I don't even know where to begin to express the utmost gratitude and appreciation we have to Joe, Nertila, Nicole and his staff at the Grand Marquis for making our wedding day on 5/18/19 so unbelievably special and perfect! We are still high on wedding love from our day being so perfect and magical. From the initial venue tour to the minute we were packing up our things and leaving, the staff at the GM were nothing but accommodating, kind, patient, understanding, reliable...the list goes on and on. Nicole, Nertila and Joe were so responsive to all of our requests, wants and needs in the days, weeks, and months prior to the wedding and were nothing short of accommodating and helpful. The day of the wedding...wow, we are honestly speechless. From the minute we got off the party bus to the minute we left, we were attended to literally every 10 minutes. No more than 10 minutes went by that a staff member wasn't asking if we needed anything or could get us anything. We always had food on our plates or a drink in our hand. Talk about service!!! Speaking of food...our guests cannot stop raving about how fantastic the food was. Cocktail hour, dinner and Venetian desserts...out of this world. Our 2 main priorities for our wedding were good food and good entertainment and we were blessed with both. I definitely stressed to staff the weeks prior that I am a food girl and I would be eating alllllll night. Staff did not disappoint! My much requested lobster ravioli was hand-delivered to me by Joe the minute I walked into the bridal suite LOL. I was one happy and full bride!!! Honestly, there are not enough words to express our sincerest gratitude to everyone at the GM. Our wedding day exceeded all of our expectations and more and we owe that to the staff and the GM. The week before the wedding came and we were in daily contact with Joe and Cathy, every request we made was followed by “whatever you guys want.” The day before the wedding, we visited the GM late in the evening and Cathy was there until midnight helping us put our personal final touches on the gleaming reception hall.Finally, the Grand Finale was here; everything was meticulously perfected. The floor, the valet parking staff, the bathrooms, the bridal suite, the cocktail reception room with endless stations and flowing drinks, the romantic grand ball room with soft lighting, the Venetian Dessert room, their newly constructed marble terrace with fire pits, large screen TV, waterfalls and bar all ready to impress our guest…… Joe, Cathy and staff met 45 minutes before guest started arriving; they prepped, dotted I’s and crossed T’s. During the event, Joe was visible and attentive to our request and he commanded his staff accordingly via their electronic headsets. It was an impressive scene. At the end of the night, the staff packaged food and desserts for the newlyweds and their families. Not to mention the table with breakfast to go for our guest……..To say the least, the event flew by flawlessly!!!To the owners, Joe, Cathy and staff – thank you for the unremarkable Customer Experience you provided our family. We are so excited to write this review for Grand Marquis. We booked our wedding there almost solely because of the wonderful experience we had the first time we went to visit and the way Nertila and the staff treated us. We were cautiously optimistic and felt the place was beautiful. It turned out to blow away all of our expectations. Nertila was amazing throughout the entire planning process and just could not possibly have been any nicer to deal with or more helpful. She made us feel completely comfortable in every way and helped us throughout. We are so lucky that we got to work with her for our wedding. As a whole the rest of the staff was amazing also. From the moment we showed up for our wedding to the time we left at the end of the night, every single staff member treated all of our guests like royalty. The service was incredible! The food was unbelievably delicious and perfectly timed and cooked! The bar never had a line! The cocktail hour was insane! The room was completely stunning and perfect! Our guests have been RAVING nonstop about the wedding and about Grand Marquis. We honestly feel so proud and lucky to be able to say we had our wedding there and everyone left with a wonderful memory. No guest was left wanting and everyone was taken care of with special attention, patience, and care. We felt so welcomed and special, as if it was the only wedding they had the whole year. They helped with the setup, and treated every request with a \"CAN DO\" attitude. We made 2 special request for the evening. One was to have great bartenders and not have a line, and the other was to offer extra desserts passed to the tables. Both were delivered perfectly and the guests were ecstatic about it. Thank you so much for everything you did. We can confidently say there is no other place we could have imagined having our wedding and GM holds a special place in our hearts forever. We would be remiss if we didn't mention our Maitre D', Chris. He was unbelievably nice and serviceable and we are honestly so impressed with the way he handled the whole evening. His staff including the Captain & servers/setup staff, were right on the same page and super nice and serviceable. So amazing.

From the moment we walked in the Grand Marquis we were treated like royalty. We first met with Nicole who would walk us through our whole wedding and make sure we received everything I wanted. In that same meeting we met one of the owners demetry who brought us in a plate of food and offered us drinks. This was even before we talked of booking the venue. We were so impressed. We went on a tour of the facility and my mouth dropped. It was gorgeous from the inside to the outside. After we decided to book our venue Nicole followed up with us every month. Asking if we needed anything. What we were suppose to be doing, etc. What I loved about Nicole was we mentioned to her that I am a picky eater. I eat wings and pizza and that is really it. The night of my wedding without even knowing Nicole made sure there was wings for me. I was so happy I could have cried. Its silly but the little things will make your wedding the best. The food, staff and dessert hour were amazing. We had a lovely woman named wanda who tended to us all night. She truly made eating and getting drinks possible on a night that everyone wanted a piece of you. If I could get married again I wouldn't change anything except holding my reception for longer hours. If your thinking of getting married trust me this is the place you want to be.

I got married on Oct. 19, 2018 and I have to say that the Grand Marquis exceeded my expectations. If you need a venue that has amazing food, great variety of different drinks and an amazing staff you need to book your wedding at that venue and have Nicole as your even coordinator. My husband and I went and saw 11 different venues before going to this one. My husband and I had an instant connection with Nicole. She made sure when showing us the venue she did not interrupt the events going on at that moment but still managed to show us all the rooms. She had all the answers whenever we called and if she did not have them she made sure to get it by the end of that day. She was such a pleasure to work with. I brought a lot of things to the venue and needed certain displays made and she made it happen. I am so upset that the wedding is over because I will not have to call her anymore or visit the venue. I honestly can say My Wedding was the best day ever because of Nicole and the staff at the Grand Marquis. Again if you need a great venue with top notch service and food/liquor go see Nicole at the Grand Marquis .

We had the pleasure of working with Nertila and the Grand Marquis for our wedding in October of 2016. From our initial meeting to the day of, Nertila and the staff were extremely accommodating, professional, and genuine. Nertila is an absolute sweetheart and made us feel like family. The Grand Marquis offered an excellent value compared to similar venues we looked at-- and we looked at a lot! Not only was the ballroom beyond beautiful and clean, but so were the bathrooms, hallways, entryways, etc. Something we appreciated was that the kindness and accommodations we experienced when we were initially looking did not end once we signed the contract. Even through the day of the wedding, Nertila and the rest of the staff made sure we had everything we needed, and then some. They made sure we ate our dinner and we even had a cute little buffet setup in the bridal suite that we snuck down and enjoyed to have a few private moments away from the bustle of everything else. Our guests still rave a year and a half later about how good the food was and how much fun they had. We cannot say enough good things about Nertila and the Grand Marquis, and we 100% would have our wedding there all over again.

My husband and I recently had our wedding here. It was perfect! Everything from the planning to the day of, the staff made sure we were taking care of. Nicole, our event planner, was absolutely amazing and helped us out with everything we needed. Joe, the General Manager, was also amazing, and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we wanted and more! Chris, our Matrie D, and all the rest of the staff helped make our day special. My husband and I recently had our wedding here. It was perfect! Everything from the planning to the day of, the staff made sure we were taking care of. Nicole, our event planner, was absolutely amazing and helped us out with everything we needed. 100% perfection! Words cannot describe how delighted we are! From the moment we signed to the last dance you were there! Everything was so easy and organized. The staff was beyond helpful and so attentive. Your venue is breathtaking! The food was delicious!!! I can’t rave enough about the food!!! This was one of only 2 places we looked and once we walked in we knew it was our place to start our life together! I wish our night never ended! Our wedding day was perfect, all thanks to the Grand Marquis and there staff. Let me tell you if you’re looking for a venue with the best food, you better choose here. The cocktail hour and Venetian hour were out of this world! The staff was friendly and catered to all our needs. The maitre d was wonderful. The drinks were on point and the food was out of this world good. The only person we had a problem with was Nertila. She never answered emails and told us certain things that turned out to be untrue, but the maitre d took care of any issues we had. I can’t recommend this establishment enough. My guests will be talking about this place for years to come!

I simply can't put into words how amazing EVERYONE is at the Grand Marquis, especially Nertila. I booked the Grand Marquis 2 years out from my wedding, while all the construction in the Dome room was going on and it was the best decision I made. My wedding was October 28, 2017 and everything was simply perfect! Reading the reviews and seeing the pictures of the old room, I knew I had to go check it out, and I am so glad I did. Once I got there I was set up with Nertila and we hit it off immediately. She showed me what the room would look like after the completion was done, by picture it was beautiful, after the renovation was done, seeing it in person, it was simply breath taking. Nertila went above and beyond and always remained patient with me and always assured me everything will be great, and she was right. People fell in love with the cocktail and reception hall as well as the food. We have had (and we are still getting) so many people rave about all the food. They loved everything from cocktail to dinner to dessert. The venetian hour blew everyone away and everyone ended up leaving happy and full. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better day and I know I owe it to the Grand Marquis for helping make my day incredible.Everyone must go experience this venue, you will not be disappointed.Thank you to everyone there for all your work, you are the best of the best.

My wedding day was everything I dreamed and more – the romantic ceremony, the elegant reception… the Grand Marquis delivered on my exact vision, and I couldn’t have made a better choice for my venue. I had read tons of reviews before booking with them, and even after booking – all of them glowingly positive and resounded over 3 things: the service, the food, and of course, how beautiful the ballrooms are. The service – Elizabeth was our coordinator, and she was so great. Responsive, patient, and caring, she really made sure that our vision would be executed exactly the way we wanted. She answered all of my questions so quickly, through email and phone, and never treated any question like it was silly or like she had heard it thousands of times before. She was so engaged with us and it really felt like she was as much a part of our big day as our family and friends. She’s the best. Our maitre’d, Chris, and our captain, Wanda, are excellent at what they do. You can tell they’ve been in the business for a long time and know exactly how to cater to the bride and groom and guests.The ballroom – We had our wedding in the Dome Room, and it was absolutely breathtaking – the dome with its elaborate details and glamorous chandelier at center, the marble dance floor, the soft, blush uplighting – it was a dream. There is an outdoor patio that’s accessible from the ballroom, which was nice for our guests to step out and get a breath of fresh air. They had an outdoor bar setup and mood lighting with the fire torches burning – it was a cool, crisp fall evening, so it was nice and cozy. The food – I knew the food would be plenty and delicious, but I didn’t realize to what magnitude; our guests were absolutely blown away by the amount and variety of food for cocktail hour, and everything was cooked to perfection. The tomahawk ribeye carving station, and the raw bar were the showstoppers. Dinner was also amazing – the short ribs are to die for. I mean, literally, to die for. Fall of the bone, melt in your mouth, perfection. I had read reviews that were raving about the food, but I didn’t fully comprehend until we tasted it – it was the best food I’ve ever had at a wedding – and it was my own wedding! That’s the best part. The bars are fully stocked with top shelf liquors, which is another high point for the guests. AND THEN THE VIENNESE DESSERT HOUR! Where do I even begin… make your own s’mores, chocolate fountain, cotton candy (spun to order!), popcorn, churros, milk shots, AND A DONUT WALL!? It was out of this world, and our guests were having emotional breakdowns over it, having already been surprised by the cocktail hour and now with a whole room of sweets! We were all just so blown away by all of it – the Grand Marquis gave me the wedding of my dreams, and for that, I will be forever grateful. I now understand why people say they hope their friends have their wedding here so that they can attend as guests! If you are looking for a venue that has it all, book with the Grand Marquis. You will not regret it.

We had our wedding at the Grand Marquis this past September and we wish we could do it all over again! Our event Coordinator helped us with every detail and was very attentive. We couldnt have asked for a better Maitre D’ , Kristin. She made everyone feel like a VIP. We were so lucky to have gorgeous weather on our special day, so we asked the staff to open the retractable floor to ceiling windows in the dome room. The beautiful flowers on the outside patio just added to the decor. Our guests loved having an outside patio area with a bar to enjoy during cocktail hour. People are still raving about all the food, especially the Dessert! I would highly recommend Grand Marquis for any event you’re looking to have!

Our maitre D', Kristin, and bridal attendant waited on us hand and foot. We never went hungry or thirsty. Kristin was absolutely wonderful and I would definitely work with her again in the future. The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD AMAZING. My guests still cannot stop talking about my cocktail hour and dessert extravaganza! They even made sure my vegan/vegetarian and gluten free guests had an array of choices! The staff was so professional and kind and made us and our guests feel like royalty. We didn't even have to go off premise to take pictures! The outside ceremony space comes with a gorgeous black iron gazebo and the patio is clad with fire pits, water falls, and beautiful flowers. I could not have asked for a better day and better people to host my wedding.

I can't thank Grand Marquis enough for making our day extremely special. We booked the venue for our wedding in July after viewing 8 other venues and I'm so glad we went with them. They made the entire wedding process very smooth from the tasting to dropping off items, even the day of went great! Even when we lost our wedding coordinator from Grand Marquis two weeks before our wedding, they assigned us someone new right away and that person was on top of everything. It was as if she'd been with us from the beginning. Everyone at the Grand Marquis was extremely attentive- not only to the bride and groom but our parents and guests as well. They made sure our parents enjoyed their day as well and brought drinks to the tables so people didn't have to wait at the bar. The entire experience was wonderful and everyone loved the place! We received great reviews on the food, dessert, and service. Our wedding was truly one of the best that our guests have ever attended and I would love to get the chance to revisit this venue again! Thanks for everything!

I am so glad my wife and I selected the Grand Marquis to hold our wedding reception. While we selected catering from another vendor, Grand Marquis excelled in every other area under their control. The staff was fantastic, the venue was beautiful, and everything that could have gone wrong, didn't go wrong.First off, our event coordinator, Kristin, was amazing. She took over our account after our previous coordinator left the company, and we didn't miss a step. Kristin was quick to respond, offered fair advice and so helpful. It was a blessing that she took over.On the day of our event, the bridal attendant and Maitre D were by our side at all times. In fact, Cathy helped and made sure our event went smoothly, without any hitches and ensured the staff was on top of things. Our Bridal Attendant, was helpful throughout our photo sessions and throughout the night. She was so helpful to my wife.In fact, everyone was always there to help us. On a day with a full agenda, the staff stepped up, and made our special day even so much better than imaginable.

Overall the Grand Marquis was great in terms of food & decor/interior design, but we did have some mishaps throughout our actual wedding day which are making us not give 5 or 4 stars.We booked in November with Nicole and set July 9th, 2017 as our wedding day. We pay attention to detail so the fact that we were expecting to have Nicole help us on our wedding day and she wasn't even there, was disappointing. If she told us that she wasn't going to be there the day of and that she was handing us entirely off to our Maitre’D Kristin, who we've never met or spoken to in the 9 months of planning, then I'm pretty sure I would've remembered it. The venue was beautiful, inside and outside. We received glowing reviews about the food, which we are very pleased about! Moments before our introduction into the reception Kristin tells us that there are no seats for our bridal party and that we basically had wedding crashers. We started to panic, but it turned out to be false. We believe she thought the bridal party would have their own table, when in fact they already had assigned seating next to their spouses and friends. Instead of asking, we think she assumed they would be sitting together making it seem like there was no seating for them. This put a damper on our once in a lifetime introduction. Literally seconds before we walked out, my wife was sending her the seating chart on her smartphone. The intelligent lighting was also off during the reception. The lighting we asked for was MUCH brighter than what we got and when I said this wasn't it, she replied that she didn't know how to do it, so all of our reception pictures/videos were dark. Hopefully my videographer and photographer will work their magic. There was a waitress, I forgot her name, but she was the most helpful. She even came down to our suite after the reception ended and helped us bring our clothes to the car. We also planned to have a slideshow playing during the entire reception on loop, but that didn't really get rolling until my wife asked for it to be put on and only had an hour left of the reception. Honestly I was stressed half the time, but the guests said it was all perfect so that's why we won't give lower than a 3 star review.

Pricing was great, people we worked with were always helpful and responded very quickly with any questions or concerns we had. They set up the room perfectly and things couldn't have been any better! The food is absolutely delicious and everyone was raving about it! Every detail was just perfect from Maitre D, to the service leader, to the Bridal attendant. Everything and everyone was just spectacular! I would recommend this place to any bride looking for a beautiful reception hall with amazing people :)

My husband and I go married on July 14, 2017 and had our reception here. From the beginning we both fell in love with the Grand Marquis. Pricing was great, people we worked with were always helpful and responded very quickly with any questions or concerns we had. They set up the room perfectly and things couldn't have been any better! Grand Marquis, \"thank you\" for helping us to have the wedding of my dreams! My girl \"Allie\" was amazing and everything I could have wished for in terms of assistance the day before and up until the time we left the Grand Marquis the day of the wedding. My husband and I had our ceremony and reception at the Grand Marquis and there are not enough words to describe how phenomenal this venue is and how incredible our wedding day was. With the new renovations complete, the venue is stunning! We were married and had our reception in the Dome room which is just a breathtaking room! We took pictures both on the grounds and inside and they all came out incredible because each setting is just gorgeous! Our guests couldn't stop talking about the food. Everything from the cocktail hour to the main meal to the dessert extravaganza was amazing! So many people commented on how there wasn't a single thing they didn't like or enjoy. The staff was also incredible! Everyone kept saying how friendly they were and how they engaged in conversation with people and they thought it was so cool! My husband and I were really taken care of and for our meal they brought us each a plate with all 3 options. They made sure we always had something to drink and made sure we had everything we needed. We worked with Nertila in the days leading up to our big day and she was so nice and helpful throughout the process. We had quiet a few people tell us they had almost as much fun at our wedding as they did at their own and that was such an amazing compliment! Thank you to everyone at the Grand Marquis for making our fairytale wedding come to life. It truly was the best day of our lives and we owe so much of that to this beautiful venue and amazing staff!

Joe and everyone at the Grand Marquis will take care of everything for you. If you were an out of state bride like me, you won't regret having an all-inclusive ceremony/reception venue. They recently renovated the Dome Room and it really is beautiful. Highly recommend!

Our daughter just had her reception this past Saturday October 8, 2016 at The Grand Marquis in Old Bridge, NJ. OMG it was PHENOMENAL!!!! I can't begin to explain what a spectacular fairytale wedding they had!!! It surpassed all of our expectations!!!! We had over 215 guests and many of them commented to us that this wedding was one of the BEST weddings they had ever been to! The cocktail hour was AMAZING!!!! Many people loved the lamb chops and the pumpkin ravioli!!! Our guests also raved about the delicious salad, salmon and the out of this world Chateau Briand!!!! The meat was so tender you could cut it with a fork!!!!! Everyone raved about the dinners!!! I can't say enough about the fantastic staff at the Grand Marquis!!! Nertillaand Nicole were very helpful in the planning of our wedding! We were blessed with Wanda and Austin as our Captain and maitre d !!! Wanda was so attentive to the Bride and Groom and both the brides parents and grooms parents! Wanda literally fed the bride so she would not spill anything on her beautiful gown!!!! The entire group of servers went above and beyond!!! Joe, the manager got right in there and pitched in to help with whatever he could to make our wedding reception spectacular!!!One of the highlights of the evening was the Venetian dessert extravaganza!!! OMG they opened the doors and the Bride and Groom were holding sparklers!!! They had everything from cakes, pastries, chocolate fountains and fruit, to a boardwalk station! Everyone loved the cotton candy, waffles and ice cream, funnel cakes, pretzels and even fried oreo's!!!Sorry this review is so long but I can't say enough about what an AMAZING wedding we had at The Grand Marquis!!!! I can't thank them enough for making all of our dreams come true!!! Best venue ever!!!

Our wedding at the Grand Marquis was a dream! The Dome room completely wowed our guests. The Grand Marquis was amazing for our wedding! Everyone that works there is fantastic, particularly Lauren and Chris! They made our wedding everything we wanted and more, and they were very reasonable priced for venues around the area. If you are big on food, and food, music, and booze makes a wedding, then go to Grand Marquis. My guests could not stop talking about our wedding after especially the dessert! There dessert menu is basically the reason we booked, I mean where else in NJ can you get fried oreos and cotton candy that is included!

A great venue but some communication issues. Our first consultations with the GM were exceptional and the general manager, Joe, was excellent and really strives for great customer service. We initially started working with Lauren but were then shifted to Megan. We were in the dome room. The room has just been redone this year and it looks amazing! It is absolutely beautiful and very classy without being overdone. The food is also delicious! All of our guests were raving about the quality of the food, the amount of food, and the amazing dessert room! Bartenders were friendly and Wanda, our captain for the night, was wonderful. She really went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and also catered to our parents. The only thing about using the GM is that communication seemed to be an issue, so you need to stay on top of things with them and stay organized. Megan was great with communicating until the month before the wedding and then stopped promptly answering emails or calls. It was frustrating as this was the most stressful time and I wasn't receiving any communication back. She had also told us that table numbers were not provided, that we could pick up our gifts and decor the day after the wedding, and that a check would be issued to us on the day of the wedding with the balance (we had overpaid). On the day of the wedding, we had incorporated table numbers into our centerpieces. When I walked into the ballroom, there were printed table numbers in awful gold frames next to our centerpieces. They didn't match our decor at all. When I told the maitre-d, Austin, I wanted them removed, they were promptly removed. However, they still got in our photographers photos. At the end of the wedding, Austin started collecting all of our items for us. We were told leaving them until the next day was not an option. The valet was all backed-up as well due to a sweet 16. Our shuttle bus was unable to pick us up for about 15 minutes due to the disorganization of the valet. Guests began to get frustrated. After the wedding I realized we had never received the check. It took multiple phone calls to Megan and Joe before and after our honeymoon before the check was finally mailed out. It was mailed out to my parents’ house but had my name on the check, so even cashing it was difficult. All in all, I did love the Grand Marquis and my wedding was beautiful. However, the poor communication at the end really put a damper on a venue that I had originally thought had amazing customer service. If their staff could all get on the same page, this venue would be perfect.

Words cannot even begin to describe how perfect our wedding was. Considering we planned in for two years, I felt so at ease every step of the way. The Grand Marquis treated us like royalty each and every time we went, whether it was to pay a bill or go for the tasting. As far as the day of the wedding, oh my goodness it could not have been more perfect! Our maitre'd and bridal assistant were OUT OF THIS WORLD! I never went without anything whether it be food, drink, a tissue, or even a picture! These girls worked so hard to make sure we not only had everything we needed and wanted but that the event was going according to what we wanted. They encouraged us to take it all in as you can imagine the entire day was very exciting! Now, the food. Oh my gosh, THE FOOD! People have not stopped talking about our amazing cocktail hour , incredible salad and entree , and our Viennese hour! It was a lot of food, but anyone can make a lot of food! What sets The Grand Marquis apart is that it was a lot of AMAZING food. The cocktail hour was everything we planned on and more. The ice sculpture of my husbands favorite soccer team was perfect, the signature cocktails were awesome, and all of the food was truly amazing. Just to name a few the baby lamb chops, sushi, and duck buns were some of our favorites. The prosciutto cone salad was a great starter and the entree choices were all terrific. We were surprised to see they made a trio plate for me and my husband and we got to try them all! The vienesse hour was totally UNREAL! We greeted our guests with sparklers before they walked into a sweet wonderland with even more things than we had planned. Some of our favorites included fresh crepes with freshly shaved chocolate, a fire to roast smores, snow cones, a cheesecake station, and an ice cream station with 20 different toppings! Our guests were so excited and we had such a wonderful time from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. The manager Joe went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and he made sure that the dads had their favorite burbon. He also helped me in the days leading up to the wedding TREMENDOUSLY! We were surprised to find out the chef had also prepared pork roll egg and cheese sandwiches for our guests as they left. While everyone laughed that they just couldn't eat another bite, I happen to know everyone managed to find room and those sandwiches were delicious. Our wedding was everything we wanted it to be and more and if we had to do it all over again we wouldn't change ONE THING!*our wedding was July 9th

These girls worked so hard to make sure we not only had everything we needed and wanted but that the event was going according to what we wanted. They encouraged us to take it all in as you can imagine the entire day was very exciting! Now, the food. Oh my gosh, THE FOOD! People have not stopped talking about our amazing cocktail hour , incredible salad and entree , and our Viennese hour! It was a lot of food, but anyone can make a lot of food! What sets The Grand Marquis apart is that it was a lot of AMAZING food. The cocktail hour was everything we planned on and more. The ice sculpture of my husbands favorite soccer team was perfect, the signature cocktails were awesome, and all of the food was truly amazing. Just to name a few the baby lamb chops, sushi, and duck buns were some of our favorites. The prosciutto cone salad was a great starter and the entree choices were all terrific. We were surprised to see they made a trio plate for me and my husband and we got to try them all! The vienesse hour was totally UNREAL! We greeted our guests with sparklers before they walked into a sweet wonderland with even more things than we had planned. Some of our favorites included fresh crepes with freshly shaved chocolate, a fire to roast smores, snow cones, a cheesecake station, and an ice cream station with 20 different toppings! Our guests were so excited and we had such a wonderful time from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. The manager Joe went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and he made sure that the dads had their favorite burbon. He also helped me in the days leading up to the wedding TREMENDOUSLY! We were surprised to find out the chef had also prepared pork roll egg and cheese sandwiches for our guests as they left. While everyone laughed that they just couldn't eat another bite, I happen to know everyone managed to find room and those sandwiches were delicious. Our wedding was everything we wanted it to be and more and if we had to do it all over again we wouldn't change ONE THING!*our wedding was July 9th

I absolutely loved this venue. My guest are still raving about all the food and dessert. I even laughed to hear someone say that they felt like a little kid in the chocolate factory. Nicole was awesome she helped me and walked us through the process.

My fiancé and I had our engagement party at The Grand Marquis and it was the most amazing night of our lives. The venue itself is stunning. It is extremely elegant and refined with high ceilings, marble floors, an abundance of natural light (courtesy of the immaculate skylight in the main hall), and tasteful decor throughout. Cocktail hour was a huge hit with our guests. Everyone loved the food and the room itself was impeccably prepared. The main ballroom for our event was the Dome Room. We loved the open, very large dance floor, the easy access to the outdoor patio area, and the classic appearance of the room. The night would not have been complete without dessert and the viennese hour did not disappoint. Our families could not get enough of the tasty treats and everyone left smiling. We cannot say enough about the impeccable service provided to our guests and the courtesy, graciousness, and attentiveness of the staff. They went above and beyond to please us at every turn and worked with us throughout the process to make our day run smoothly and efficiently. Thank you for making our night unforgettable!

I was a bridesmaid at a wedding just this past weekend and I was HIGHLY impressed. They catered to our every need, were punctual, the servers were kind and personable. Everything went incredibly smoothly. If getting married in NJ, I highly recommend this venue. Inside and out is beautiful. They put time and effort into you and the choices you want. The food was excellent. We all know what bad catered food is like and this was, by far, the opposite of bad catered food. The choices and quality were excellent.

We visited 30 venues before deciding on the Grand Marquis and we are so glad we decided on the Grand Marquis. The value we got for our money is above and beyond what we expected. The venue is pristine, the food is exceptional and the service was excellent. Nertila the Event Specialist at Grand Marquis was always available to discuss our wedding and was by our side from the beginning to the end of our wedding. Everyone from the wedding staff to the managers went above and beyond to make sure our wedding is great. I would recommend the Grand Marquis for anyone looking for a wedding venue.
