They are deleting all bad comments and blocking people on Social Media. You can not get a proper picture of how they ruin their business because of this just by social media alone.I suggest you look at google reviews before making a decision of your venue.I am a bride to be myself and I recently saw a bride to be that was done really dirty by this location. I am appalled by how they handled the situation. I was considering this location for my wedding next year and now that is not happening. I will post the bride to be review here as well. Because of the virus, we have to postpone our wedding. If I haven’t reached out to you yet, you will hear from me soon!For those who don’t know, we were suppose to get married on April 4, 2020. Our wedding venue, The Grand Marquise Ballroom in Garner NC - will not allow us to reschedule our wedding day unless it’s on a weekday, Halloween, Labor Day Weekend, or 9/11 (the dates most would not plan a wedding on). They have been paid in full & we paid a premium to have it on a Saturday which they are now forbidding because it could “take away” from potential new business. AND - they won’t give us our money back (thousands) although the virus causing government to forbid large crowds was completely unforeseen. We even offered to move our wedding out another YEAR to 2021 to accommodate their calendar and we were told no. The owner’s exact explanation to me as to why they can’t move my date was because “they are a business and need to make money”. They are being impossible and quite frankly, greedy and RUDE. Their “generous” offer to us was to provide live streaming for the rest of our guests who have to be “cut off” our guest list since our contract doesn’t specify how many guests we arranged to have. Their argument is “You can still have the wedding, you just can’t have as many guests as you want but nothing is preventing the actual wedding to take place”.... I didn’t pay thousands to have 10 people! I also didn’t pay my other vendors for only 10 people! If that was my plan, I WOULD NOT HAVE BOOKED THE BALLROOM.The ballroom is using the Corona Virus to rob customers of their money, giving us no other reasonable option for what we have paid for.I would 100% completely discourage and caution any couple who is considering this venue, to think again. There are other venues out there who are much more accommodating, friendly, and beautiful than this place. How you treat customers speaks on your business and the owners treated us like garbage. All I can say is: word of mouth travels.Having said that, THANKFUL is an understatement that we are for all of our other AMAZING vendors who are working with us to find a new date and conform to this change that is out of everyone’s control. They will be the ones I recommend FIRST to anyone needing their services!The Ballroom should be ashamed.

It has been a year 6/16/18 but I tell you what, I still don't have best words to describe my experience with Meredith and GM. Meredith, my sister from the other mother... you were amazing. I couldn't have my day other way. I love you and will always do. GM, GM is the most amazing venue that my hubby and myseld fell in love with. We have looked most venues but with GM it was love 1st sight. GM & MM are the best combination for a memorable day like a wedding.I love you MM.

We got married on 10/7/17 and it was absolutely everything we could’ve wanted and more! The ballroom was immaculate every time we were there announced or not. The staff was incredible especially Meredith. She helped us with whatever we needed to create our perfect day. People could not stop commenting on how beautiful it was. Highly recommend!

I am so glad we picked The Grand Marquise for our wedding. It is a beautiful venue and Meredith was wonderful to work with. She was prompt with answers to our questions and was so helpful with recommending vendors in our price range etc. We had a wonderful experience! Thank you so much!

This ballroom is the most gorgeous venue I have ever seen. It is regal and classy. It fit perfectly with my Royal Fantasy theme. Meredith is extremely helpful with anything you need from suggestions of vendors, to schedule, to general wedding protocol. She is quick to respond to emails and very willing to meet with new vendors unfamiliar with the venue, answering all of their questions so that they feel comfortable on your wedding day. It is obvious that her goal is to make your day exactly what you want it to be. Her staff is also very efficient and had the ballroom flipped in no time and lended a hand to other vendors when they needed help. The bartenders were even willing, and excited, to wear bowties I rented for them so they would match the wedding colors. I really had a wonderful experience with this venue.
