Granite Bay Golf Club is a wedding venue located in Granite Bay, California, just 20 minutes north of Sacramento. Set amidst the Sierra Foothills and impeccable golf greens, this elegant country club provides the ideal location for special celebrations. Couples planning a traditional and refined affair will find everything they need at this hospitable club. The walled garden and waterfront provide picturesque backdrops for wedding photographs. Facilities and Capacity You can celebrate your romantic journey from start to finish at Granite Bay Golf Club, from engagements and showers to the all-important wedding day. The versatile event spaces can be curated to accommodate elopements and micro weddings for 30 guests, or grand receptions for 250 people. Ceremonies are held in the private garden, a romantic space characterized by classic stone walls, flowers, and greenery. Here, you can walk down the floral-lined aisle as loved ones look on from the comfort of pristine white chairs. Afterward, cocktail hour is held on the covered veranda, where guests can take in stunning views of the 9th fairway. Formal seated meals or buffet receptions are held in the state-of-the-art ballroom. This spacious room features wraparound French doors, a large dance floor, and ambient lighting. The large windows not only allow abundant natural light to pour in, but they also offer vistas of the 18-hole golf course. Preparation rooms are made available to wedding parties prior to and throughout the duration of the event. This is an ADA compliant country club and there is ample parking available on the grounds. Services Offered For over 28 years, the dedicated personnel at Granite Bay Country Club has consistently provided their guests and members with excellent customer service. The event coordinators offer all-inclusive wedding packages that can be customized to suit each coupleâs needs. On-site catering is provided courtesy of the culinary team. They create delicious dishes, with everything from hors d'oeuvres, serving stations, buffet service, and formal plated meals on the menu. Halal menu options are available as well. Seasoned servers will oversee setup and cleanup, and they will tend to your guests throughout the day. The provision of linens, flatware, and glassware are included in each package.

This is a bit of late review, but I just want to share my experience with GBGC team! We had our wedding Feb 2023 at GBGC and had such a big pleasure of working with Kelle, the event coordinator and the team. Kelle was always available for questions and put our interest and vision first but also provide us with her input and advice along the way.Honestly on the day of our wedding, I was able to just enjoy the moments and have fun with my guests because Kelle kept everything on her hands. She made sure things were on time and went smoothly and worked very well with our vendors. Their food menu had lots of great options. I got so many compliments on the main course (salmon & Filet Mignon) and the hors dâoeuvres they were serving were beyond amazing!! Our picture turned out great, since there are lot of photo zones in the golf course. I was so happy to have Granite Bay Golf Course as our venue and would definitely recommend â¤ď¸ Thank you Kelle and the GBGC team for making the day so special!!

We had our wedding at Granite Bay Golf Club and were so happy with our choice. When we first started our wedding venue search, we met with Kelle Collier to tour the venue and she was SO helpful/patient/thorough with our questions. She has years of experience and it shows! She was such a gem for all of our wedding questions and especially the logistics questions. She listened to us, and catered to our needs the majority of the time, and when she couldn't, it was typically for good reason and she provided alternate suggestions. On the day of, she was superwoman ON TOP OF EVERYTHING for us. She was especially good at keeping us (and our vendors!) on track while still managing to give us the space to take everything all in. The venue itself is great but has some potential cons depending what you are looking for (see below), but Kelle absolutely makes up for any/all of them by being so phenomenal. It felt so personalized working with her (how many wedding coordinators do you know that will recognize your parents, whom she had only met a few times, in a Costco and say hi to them, months after your wedding??) and she seemed genuinely excited for us on our wedding day. As for the venue, we loved the look of the golf course vibe (we didn't want phone lines and random commercial buildings in our photos!) and GBGC delivered! They have stunning areas to have your couples photos taken at. The ability to not have to do the majority of the set-up and tear-down was so nice, the staff took care of it for us. The food was absolutely delicious and the chef was kind enough to customize certain menu items to our preferences, as well as accommodate for our vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free guests.Pros: attentive staff, experienced day-of-coordinator Kelle, delicious food menu, beautiful golf course views during cocktail hour, easy access from parking lot to ceremony to reception, capable to accommodate large weddings (up to 250 guests), unique wide arch at ceremony site, reasonable meal costs compared to other golf course venues, beautiful areas to take photos in post-ceremonyCons: drone footage of the ceremony site will have the parking lot in majority of shot due to parking lot backing up the ceremony, you can't do hair/makeup at the venue/in the getting ready rooms, there is a mandatory food and beverage minimum, appetizer to guest ratio is only 1:1 (so with 3 appetizer types, that's three per person, and that can go fast), one set of bathrooms (only a concern with larger wedding sizes), dance floor is on the smaller side if you have a large guest count

I'm so glad we chose Granite Bay Golf Club as our venue! Kelle and her team were on top of it and made sure everything went smoothly the day of the wedding. She coordinated with all the vendors and made sure they knew what they were doing and where to go. People loved the family style food and how beautiful the venue was. I loved the venue layout and how close together everything was. I joke to my husband all the time that we should just have another wedding...and if he were to say okay, we would definitely have it at Granite Bay Golf Club! :)

My husband & I couldn't have been happier with getting married at Granite Bay Golf Club. From the moment you drive into the club, this venue is stunning! We had a Indian Fusion wedding and felt absolutely comfortable once I knew how much experience Kelle had with Indian weddings. That was one of my concerns going in. I had done some research and we had visited other sites but we didn't get the same feel from the others as we did with this venue. The moment I met Kelle, we connected right from the start & that was a huge factor for us when choosing our venue. We both wanted someone who we felt would genuinely be there for us from beginning to end. Talking to Kelle was like talking to that one friend you havenât spoken to in awhile but when you did, the conversation started right back where you left off. The restaurant staff were also so sweet whenever we would come out for our meetings. Very hospitable & kind. It made us feel comfortable & appreciated anytime we were on site visiting. Kelle made our planning process seem pretty seamless & her honesty throughout the journey was refreshing. She has ample amount of experience & knowledge in this industry & it shows in her work. I had a vision for my wedding and I wasn't budging. I added & changed things throughout the process but Kelle remained positive & didn't show any frustrations or negativity no matter what challenge came our way. Whenever I'd reach out with concerns, I'd get detailed responses. She promised to make our day so special & she stuck to her promise. Unfortunately, two days before our Wedding day, we were informed Kelle was unable to be at our Wedding due to Covid. Although we were understandable & felt terrible for her, I was heartbroken. It was like being told that your best friend wasnât coming to your wedding. We were told Ryan would be taking her place & there was nothing to worry about. Of course we were still a little stressed because it was our big day and we hadn't met Ryan. When we did have a meeting with him, all our worries & concerns were out the door. He was the sweetest & was basically the guy version of Kelle. He was prepared & knew all he needed to know about our Wedding. Funny thing is, Ryan looks like Lance Bass & we were not the only ones that noticed. Just donât mention that part to him if you have the pleasure of meeting him haha. We found out later that our Wedding day was also Ryanâs 10 year wedding anniversary. Of course we felt bad he had to be away from his wife on their anniversary but it really showed his dedication & commitment. We asked him to have at least one drink with us that night to celebrate. There were a few tweaks from our wedding that could have been changed. But our wedding day was the best day ever. Especially with the last minute changes of our coordinator. Ryan & his staff were very attentive the day of & he always made sure there was a drink in all our hands. What more could you ask for? Our wedding party also enjoyed their time spent with him. We are so thankful for Ryan, Kelle, & their staff on doing such an amazing job with all their hard work. We had the pleasure of working with great vendors. Everyday I wish I could live this day & we cannot stop talking it. We are extremely happy that we got married here & couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else. We continue to receive many compliments about our Wedding/Venue, which makes my husband & I feel even better about our choice of getting married here.

The restaurant staff were also so sweet whenever we would come out for our meetings. Very hospitable & kind. It made us feel comfortable & appreciated anytime we were on site visiting. Kelle made our planning process seem pretty seamless & her honesty throughout the journey was refreshing. She has ample amount of experience & knowledge in this industry & it shows in her work. I had a vision for my wedding and I wasn't budging. I added & changed things throughout the process but Kelle remained positive & didn't show any frustrations or negativity no matter what challenge came our way. Whenever I'd reach out with concerns, I'd get detailed responses. She promised to make our day so special & she stuck to her promise. Unfortunately, two days before our Wedding day, we were informed Kelle was unable to be at our Wedding due to Covid. Although we were understandable & felt terrible for her, I was heartbroken. It was like being told that your best friend wasnât coming to your wedding. We were told Ryan would be taking her place & there was nothing to worry about. Of course we were still a little stressed because it was our big day and we hadn't met Ryan. When we did have a meeting with him, all our worries & concerns were out the door. He was the sweetest & was basically the guy version of Kelle. He was prepared & knew all he needed to know about our Wedding. Funny thing is, Ryan looks like Lance Bass & we were not the only ones that noticed. Just donât mention that part to him if you have the pleasure of meeting him haha. We found out later that our Wedding day was also Ryanâs 10 year wedding anniversary. Of course we felt bad he had to be away from his wife on their anniversary but it really showed his dedication & commitment. We asked him to have at least one drink with us that night to celebrate. There were a few tweaks from our wedding that could have been changed. But our wedding day was the best day ever. Especially with the last minute changes of our coordinator. Ryan & his staff were very attentive the day of & he always made sure there was a drink in all our hands. What more could you ask for? Our wedding party also enjoyed their time spent with him. We are so thankful for Ryan, Kelle, & their staff on doing such an amazing job with all their hard work. We had the pleasure of working with great vendors. Everyday I wish I could live this day & we cannot stop talking it. We are extremely happy that we got married here & couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else. We continue to receive many compliments about our Wedding/Venue, which makes my husband & I feel even better about our choice of getting married here.

They kept our guests happy and our wedding/reception running on schedule. Granite Bay Golf Club runs like a well oiled machine, even during a global pandemic. We had to postpone our celebration twice and Kelle was so understanding and flexible. She helped us navigate the chaos with patience and good humor. It was a little hard coordinating communications at times since we were planning on the weekends and typically Kelle was very busy on weekends and off early in the week, but by the time the big day came, we realized we had absolutely NOTHING to worry about. Everyone had a wonderful time, the food was DELICIOUS (the guests agreed) and we couldnât have asked for a more perfect day!

THANK GOODNESS FOR GRANITE BAY GOLF CLUB EVENT COORDINATOR KELLE!!! She saved our wedding. When we got bad news, one month out from our wedding, that our venue was cancelling ours wedding, I made some phone call's and got ahold of Kelle. She took me and my wife (now) under her wing, and saved our wedding. She was really flexible with everything! What was shocking, she was able to transfer all our vendors from the other venue to hers, because she knew everyone. She is like the E-40 of event coordinator's. She was there from the start, and she was there from the day of the wedding. She kept everything on time, like a wedding planner would do. Her staff was AMAZING too! They were on top of helping out the guest, and cleaning. If there was a mess on the dance floor, they would block the area off till it's cleaned up. Also they were really good with keeping up with the Covid standards too! Me and my Wife overall was so happy of the outcome. We thought it was a blessing to have one venue cancel us, and this one to pick us up. We have so much good things to say about this place. But overall, Kelle is an honest and great person, and will give her 2¢ if she need to. This review is why I giver this place 5 out of 5 rating.

Kelle went above and beyond anything I could have expected from both a wedding event coordinator and wedding venue. We changed venues less than 3 weeks before the wedding and Kelle was able to accommodate us. Getting married during a pandemic seemed impossible but Kelle and her team took every precaution to make our wedding both safe and welcoming for our guests. Including:-Providing updates consistent with the changes in state and county restrictions -Spacing out seating for both the ceremony and reception-Bringing in 2 giant, 4 foot wide fans to both blow In fresh air and move air around-All the staff wore masks but you could still see their smiling facesBeing the groom I wasnât nearly as involved as the bride in the planning phase. Only in hindsight do I wish that we signed up with Granite Bay Country Club from the very beginning. It would have saved us a lot of time and headache because in Kelle we had a partner guiding us through every step of the process. Seeing Kelle operate on the day of the wedding was like watching a world class chef operate effortlessly in the kitchen; a real professional. She was always several steps ahead. Choosing Granite Bay Golf Club as our wedding venue was one of the easiest and best choice that we made while wedding planning. We scheduled many different venues to tour, and Granite Bay Golf Club was our first stop. After touring their amazing facility and beautiful grounds we had our hearts set on having our wedding there⌠then we met Kelle, and the rest was history (we never even went to look at any other venue locations)! Kelleâs passion and pure joy in wedding coordinating sold my fiancĂŠ, my parents, and I on having our wedding at the Granite Bay Golf Club. And our love for Kelle only grew from there! Kelle made me feel like I was the only bride she was working with. She listened to all of my crazy ideas, let me share my overly organized wedding planning binder, and answered all my questions with open arms. My husband had only 2 requests for our wedding: #1 His favorite beer (which Granite Bay Golf Club special ordered on tap for us), and #2 Bacon on his salad, and Kelle made it happen! She made wedding planning fun and helped bring all of my dream wedding ideas to life! Kelleâs expertise in running a wedding rehearsal was astonishing as well, she runs a well-oiled machine which made for a flawless wedding day. Granite Bay Golf Club is a beautiful venue hands down. The fact that the offer so many services such as catering and bartending makes them a one stop shop which is so nice when you're attempting to plan such a tedious event. Kelle Collier is pretty awesome and great at understanding your vision and helping to make it happen. The communication and response time was an issue for me and there were a few times I felt like I was being ignored. The event went as planned and nothing was missed but I think that maybe Kelle needs an assistant or help of some sort to ensure that clients never feel that way. I would still definitely recommend them as a venue and the value is so worth the hiccups I had.

The event went as planned and nothing was missed but I think that maybe Kelle needs an assistant or help of some sort to ensure that clients never feel that way. I would still definitely recommend them as a venue and the value is so worth the hiccups I had.

Kelle the event coordinator at Granite Bay was so helpful and supportive while planning and she helped execute an amazing flawless day!! She ensured everything was taken care of and the venue looked amazing!! Thank you Kelle for your support and guidance as we celebrated our big day!! The venue was the perfect size for our celebration of about 140 guests. I thought the dance floor would be too small at first but I was wrong it was great for the celebration and we had a lot of fun!! We got tons of compliments on the venue and food from guests!

I had the absolute pleasure of having my reception for my wedding at the Granite Bay Golf Club and I had the even greater pleasure of working with the one and only Kelle Collier. If you want someone who is fun, positive, detail oriented and someone who fights for what you want then Kelle is your girl! We had a 6 month long engagement and from our first meeting she was so on top of things and genuinely excited for us! She loves weddings and it shows in all the hard work she pours into her clients. We had an evening wedding and everything turned out more perfect and beautiful than I could ever imagined! Granite Bay Golf Club is a gorgeous venue overlooking the golf course. The area of the club my event was in was intimate, elegant, and taken care of by a top notch staff. There's a reason all my vendors said that Granite Bay Golf Club was one of the favorite venues, and I can completely see why! If you have an event, meeting, wedding or anything planned that you want to impress your guests then this is the place for you! The beauty, the staff, the food are all incredible and especially the event coordinator Kelle. We are so grateful and blessed to have had such a wonderful venue and all of our guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. We love golf and so this really helped set a personal and beautiful feel to our day. In the middle of planning this wedding we moved out of state. I never once felt that even though I didn't live 20 minutes away that I wasn't getting the answers and attention this wedding needed! I would highly recommend this location for couple that like golf or just beautiful landscaping, that want to have a reliable wedding coordinator and just a wonderful celebration!!

Heidi from Granite Bay did a wonderful job coordinating our wedding. Everyone raved about how great the food was, we offered a choice of macadamia nut crusted chicken, sauteed salmon or filet mignon. Every entree was great! The servers were fantastic. Their house wine and champagne was excellent as well. I'm very pleased that I chose Granite Bay golf club for our wedding.

The staff at GBGC are professional, efficient and incredibly caring. Our wedding was beautiful! We had a great time and so did our guests. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. We felt very taken care of. The course was a gorgeous spot for pictures, and the setting with the new Conservatory Patio was a fabulous place for our guests to spend time and enjoy the beautiful view.

My now husband and I found this hidden gem tucked away in Granite Bay. We loved everything about our wedding, from the changing rooms to the amazing food! Heidi has a way of making everyone feel welcome and comfortable. We ran into a little hiccup and forgot an usher's tux (oops!) which set us back an hour. She rolled right along with it and moved cocktail hour ahead of the ceremony. All of our guests said the entire experience was amazing and four months later are still talking about it!

Granite Bay Golf Club was absolutely amazing! Heidi, their wedding coordinator, took care of so many details and really made the event seamless. She has so much experience and knows whats she's doing, I didn't feel like I had to worry about anything.\r\rThe service of the staff was also amazing, we got so many compliments from our guests saying the servers were so nice and fast, and the food was fantastic. I actually had never eaten there before the wedding and when we were served our dinner, I was shocked at how good everything was and how perfectly cooked our meals were.\r\rI have been to over 40 weddings with run-of-the-mill food and service, I am not saying this because it was my wedidng, but I was truely impressed with every detail the GBGC staff took care of.\r\rTheir prices were very comparable to other venues in the area, but Granite Bay is nicer, classier venue than most. \r\rI would highly recommend Granite Bay Golf Club for any wedding or event.

Heidi (coordinator) went over every detail with me and gave me EXACTLY what I wanted. The reception room looked exactly how I wanted it to. I am a first time bride and she helped me through every worry, decision, or issue on my wedding day. If I had to do it all over, I would choose Granite Bay Country Club again with no regrets or second thoughts.
