Claire Carson(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-07-2020 It was an absolute dream come true to get married ON HOME PLATE. My wedding was in July 2020 and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we could still have our ceremony on the field and do the reception exactly as planned. If you and your fiancé are big Reds fans there isn't anything better than getting married on the field. The price isn't outrageous either. Once you compare all of the added costs that come with other venues, you realize this is not much more expensive. At least do a walkthrough if you're even considering it! Reviewed on 28-07-2020
Amberlei Ressler(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 02-09-2017 We could not have asked for better service and help! The Great American Ballpark is such a great place to have a wedding! Not only is it such a cool venue and something your guests will never forget but Alayna who is the wedding coordinator was the biggest help! Her and her staff (Kim) took care of us and helped us with all questions, setting up, and always emailed back right away or within a day. Ryan who helped with food was so great and Carly who was my main point of contact with food was extremely helpful. They made this process so easy and kept my stress level down. I would highly recommend The Great American Ballpark! And their cost is so reasonable! We had the best wedding and our night was so magical! Thank you Alayna, Kim, Carly, Ryan and everyone at Great American Ballpark!! Reviewed on 12-09-2017
Emily H(bride)1 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-08-2017 Unfortunately, not equipped to be a reception venue. Aside from being overpriced in comparison to other venues on the Banks, the staff in charge of weddings is very irresponsible and never gets back to you. Prepare to have to chase people down multiple times. For example, I sent an inquiry in May 2016 to Katey, and she didn't respond until April of 2017! And in responding, she brushed it off as merely a delay in response. Obviously, I didn't wait 11 months before I got my answer, I just did what I needed on my own. But my point is that with this venue you will be doing a lot on your own, and that may not be what you're looking for. Don't expect to get much help from their staff. At the end of the day, weddings are not their first priority, so you will likely have to spend more time chasing these people down and organizing everything yourself than you originally planned. Amanda Snyder(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-10-2016 I cannot say enough about the Reds wedding staff and ball park staff. Terylle was out coordinator and she was absolutely phenominal. We got married on Sunday, October 9th on the field with a reception in the Champions Club afterwards. Terylle was so professional and on point the entire time. But so was the entire staff! We had people to escort us everywhere, including escorts for some elderly grandparents. The bartenders and serving staff were fantastic. There was even a grounds crew to set the field before the ceremony - just like in the games! We had the best time and it was because of the wonderful services of the Reds staff. Everyone was complimenting the staff - so friendly and accomodating! The food was absolutely phenominal. We did a stations menu and it was delicious - people were raving! We also had tons of passed hor d'oeuvres that were delicious. Many people stuffed themselves before dinner because they were so delicious!I cannot recommend this venue enough. Teryelle answered my hundreds of questions without batting an eye. She was kind and professional and on top of everything for us! Reviewed on 11-10-2016
Sydney Shannon(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 16-04-2016 GABP was everything we could have hoped for and more. The team who helped plan our wedding was incredible - each person was wonderful to work with and truly cared about our day. The view from The Handlebar is to die for & acted as the perfect backdrop for our ceremony. Guests walked right over to The Champions Club and enjoyed the celebration. Friends and family from Cincinnati & out of town loved the experience. A month later, we are still hearing raving reviews! Reviewed on 15-05-2016
