The ballroom reception area offers high ceilings and large windows lining every room providing stunning views of the golf course and evening sunsets. Extending off the ballroom is a covered patio which is reserved for your event and guests. The ballroom can host up to 250 guests, including a dance floor. On-site wedding ceremonies are available in the Club Room, which gives an intimate feel. Our bridal suite hosts a large vanity space for your hair and makeup team for your bridal party. Our award-winning Chef will create your customized delicious cuisine with a scheduled tasting before your event. Our coordinators will accommodate you and your bridal party onto the golf course to take extraordinary photos of your special day. Great Oaks will exceed all your expectations as our staff is more than happy to assist you with planning your memorable event with great flexibility and care for every detail. Gorgeous venue, however they don't have a legitimate contract for you to sign when booking. Sorry, but nobody should be expected to pay upwards of $20k for their wedding and not have a binding contract holding the venue accountable.

While rescheduling 4x due to virus-policies elsewhere was a BUMMER to say the least, we are SO glad that circumstances meant we ended up at GOCC. What a perfect day this was. The entire experience was easier than our first go-round with our original venue - more reasonably priced, faster and clearer communications and a wonderfully NORMAL wedding day.

Words cannot describe how happy my husband and I are that we chose GOCC as our wedding reception venue! Beginning with the planning, Olivia was very responsive and helpful in answering all of our questions. Scheduling the tasting was very easy, and we were blown away by how great the food was. Despite postponement and rescheduling of our wedding due to COVID, Olivia and her staff were understanding and compassionate in easing my stress and frustration as we finalized a new date. Now let me get to the day of the wedding… not only were all the staff at GOCC kind and patient, but the service was top notch! The wait staff were excellent, always there with exactly what our guests needed and the bar staff kept everyone “hydrated” with some of the best drinks around. It’s been weeks and our guests are still talking about how great the food and drinks were (thanks Nate & Jeanetta!!). Olivia masterfully coordinated the timing and schedule so that I did not have to worry about a thing, even helping bustle my gown and throw a few extra bobby pins in my hair to pin up the fly-aways before our grand entrance! The event space is so elegant and beautiful, and the staff did an excellent job setting up the room exactly how we wanted it! Our guests especially loved the outdoor patio, and the golf course had plenty of beautiful places to take breathtaking photos. I would highly recommend this hidden gem to any bride and groom for your wedding, you won’t regret it!!

My fiance and I had an apt to tour their venue on a weekday immediately following work. We drove more than an hour one way to make our scheduled time only to be turned away in the lobby because of the dress code that the event coordinator failed to mention.. (I was wearing blue jeans and a polo). She didnt even take the time to turn us away herself. If she would of told us up front, I would have dressed accordingly. Very poorly handled.

We just had our wedding here. It was literally the wedding of our dreams! The reception room is beautiful, the staff and service was great, amazing food (many guests complimented the service!). Great Oaks has a wedding day of coordinator that helped us plan everything for our day . She is the absolute best! We are so happy we had our reception at Great Oaks.

We had our wedding at Great Oaks in June and it was amazing! Olivia is so great to work with and executed our vision down to the last detail. She is very responsive and helpful, and knows her stuff! We especially like how safe Great Oaks made us feel through planning a wedding with COVID, and they always made us feel like a top priority even though they must work with hundreds of couples each year! We are so happy with our photos, the golf course is stunning and the food was also amazing! Fantastic staff and beautiful place to get married!

If I could give Great Oaks ten stars I would. Olivia was amazing she helped us move our wedding date when We postponed due to Covid. The entire staff was fantastic and accommodating. We had to move our ceremony space, but the new location was just as beautiful. I recommend you check out Great Oaks!

I can't say enough good things about Great Oaks - just WOW! Olivia, their wedding coordinator, is officially invited to our family holidays moving forward. She did everything from bustle my dress, to sewing my mom's dress the morning of the wedding. The women's lounge they have available was fantastic to get ready in and do hair/makeup! Everything is private and gives you a true \"bridal\" moment. Taking pictures out on the course was excellent and we were even given blankets to wrap up in between shops. Dinner was everything I wanted. We actually wouldn't book until tasting the food and it did NOT disappoint. I could go on and on but this place was an absolute dream.

My husband and I recently got married at Great Oaks, the venue was beautiful and the staff went above and beyond to make sure the day was special. Olivia the wedding coordinator for Great Oaks was one of the main reasons we decided to book here. She was well organized and made sure we had nothing to worry about that day. It was so stress free and worth every penny. The food was amazing, the staff friendly and helpful. Even though the weather was terrible that day Olivia made sure we were able to get pictures outside under the weeping willows while keeping my dress clean and dry. I cannot say enough good things about her or this venue.

Wow! What a wonderful venue- kind of a secret gem! This venue has been incredibly well prepared and so helpful to us, we just had an absolutely incredible wedding over memorial day weekend! Olivia, their coordinator, made our day go so smoothly, got everything set up and seamlessly transitioned to the night manager. Their chef and pastry chef made absolutely scrumptious dinner and dessert, people could NOT STOP raving to us about how amazing the meal was- even better than on our honeymoon! Not only is the venue beautiful, but everyone made sure to help us however they could, from bringing me snacks/water/safety pins, to driving us in golf carts, to packing up all our items to pick up the next day! WOWW.

AMAZING! We could not be happier with how our wedding reception turned out at Great Oaks. We worked with Olivia, who was the best! She made the entire process so easy and stress-free. From our first meeting, she was so easy to communicate with and took care of everything. We had a couple of snags with our linens (which were included with our reception package) and Olivia worked hard to make sure we wouldn't be over-charged and was able to get us some money back! My husband and I heard nothing but great reviews about the food, service, and location. We highly recommend Great Oaks and are so glad we were able to celebrate our day here!

We had a Fall wedding at Great Oaks Country Club and the only word I can use to describe the experience is perfect. The outdoor ceremony space was gorgeous, the reception space was huge and elegant, and Olivia, the wedding coordinator, was incredible. We lived out of state throughout our engagement so we really appreciated Olivia's open communication and willingness to work with our families when we couldn't personally attend a meeting. Our wedding was stress-free because Olivia handled all the issues that came up. She even reminded us to eat which was also greatly appreciated. She was great at handling difficult family members and really prioritizes the bride/groom's wants. The event staff were friendly and knowledgeable. After our ceremony, we took pictures on the golf course, which involved riding around the course in golf carts (one of the most fun moments of the wedding). It's honestly a gorgeous venue with a top of the line staff.

\"best wedding we've ever been too\" - this is all we here after our guests experience at Great Oaks. We had both our ceremony and reception there and words cannot describe how perfect our day was. Olivia and her team are the very best. Working with Olivia was the best experience I could have imagined. She helped me finalize the decor (and her suggestions were perfect), she accommodated last minute changes, she ran our rehearsal which was a breathe of fresh air as the bride to just relax the day for the wedding, suggested amazing locations for photos and even got on her hands and knees to fluff my dress. We felt like celebrities all day long. The Great Oaks team did a phenomenal job checking in on us and getting anything and everything we needed. They all were so helpful and kind. Our guests raved about the food and service they received as well. Olivia and Great Oaks helped us to have our dream wedding. I can honestly say that knowing Olivia was there on my wedding day I was not stressed at all - she handled everything we needed. The process of planning with Great Oaks was a breeze as well. The food was outstanding and I cannot rave enough about the service. The grounds are kept absolutely stunning and our photos are breathtaking. I would highly suggest booking with Great Oaks as they reduced so much of the wedding stress a bride typically has by having their packages and just overall amazing staff.

Our experience having our wedding ceremony & reception at Great Oaks Country Club was absolutely excellent. The staff was extremely professional, helpful, accommodating, and truly interested in making our experience live up to our expectations. I can’t say enough about Olivia, the Director of Sales and Events, who is also the Day-Of Coordinator. She was always available to answer questions, very thorough in noting every detail and ensuring it was carried out according to plan, and determined to prevent as much as humanly possible from going wrong. It was obvious from her work that she has a lot of experience working with brides and has successfully navigated MANY weddings. My husband and I highly recommend holding any event at Great Oaks Country Club to our family members and friends, and felt compelled to share our impression with everyone who may be looking into this venue.

Great Oaks did a fantastic job leading up to our big day, and Kristan (our coordinator) was on-hand the entire night making sure that it was everything that we wanted. The food was delicious, and the space was beautiful! We recommend this venue to any couple looking for a place for their ceremony/reception.

We got married and had our reception at Great Oaks on 9/9/17. We had booked the venue and had been planning for a year. We did have wedding coordinators switch a few times which wasn't that fun but we ended up with an absolute ANGEL!!!! Anjelica was our wedding coordinator and she was on top of everything. She made everything easy for us, gave me her personal cell phone, and made everything look beautiful the day of. Every detail was wonderful. The grounds, the staff, the food, the location, and their venue space was perfect. We had space for 170 people for a sit down dinner and dancing. The space for getting ready was big enough and soo pretty. When we had a request for snack and drink before the wedding it was handled in a snap (even though they did not have to and could have charged extra). I could not have had a more beautiful and fun wedding and I am so thankful we chose Great Oaks.

Overall, my husband and I absolutely loved having our reception at Great Oaks. My husband's grandparents have been members for a long time, so we were very familiar with the venue before we moved forward, but the amazing service exceeded our expectations. Kristan, our wedding coordinator, took over for someone who left the club about halfway through our planning and made it a seamless transition! She did a great job from start to finish and really helped to make it a special day for us. Since the wedding, our friends and family have raved about the food and service - specifically bartenders Janetta and John (definitely request them if you can!). Overall, we thought the prices were reasonable, especially for a country club. They include taxes and gratuity, which makes planning your budget very simple. The golf course is also perfect for taking pictures. For someone who isn't as big of a golf fan as my husband, the course offers lots of views that don't make it seem like you're on a golf course. Our only recommendation to Great Oaks is that they ensure couples have access to specific spots on the course that were previously discussed without issue. We were able to take all of the photos we wanted, but not being able to do so in a timely manner can add a little stress to the day. If you are looking for top notch service and a beautiful location, we definitely recommend Great Oaks Country Club.

My wife and I spent months looking for a beautiful hall that would accommodate 120 people without adding a 'dividing wall' between two separate parties. It got quite frustrating as many country clubs with perfect sized floor plans would require a minimum price to rent the hall that would frighten you (we've seen as high as a 20k minimum).Great Oaks Country Club worked perfectly for us with no minimum balance and no sharing rooms with other parties. Their event coordinator at the time, Amber, helped us greatly with finding vendors, color coordinating and creating the floor plan. At some point Amber moved south and was replaced with Kristan, who was also a great team member and helped us with the menu selection and taste testing. If I had to do it again I would recommend making sure that anything discussed was written down because there was some conversation history lost when Amber left. Reworking things that were already decided upon was a bit of a headache but Kristan helped fixing that mess with us.Overall I highly recommend Great Oaks Country Club.

We had our wedding reception in September and it was beyond perfect! Kristan only started working here just before our wedding, and she took over flawlessly! Everything we had previously communicated to Amber was transferred over to Kristan. Our guests raved about the food, which was by far the best wedding food we've ever had. Our linens were amazing and the coordination Kristan offered was nonstop on the wedding night! I wouldn't have had this experience anywhere else. Thank you, Great Oaks!

I held my wedding here, and I have to say it was the best day of my life! I would have given a 5/5 but the morning after my wedding, at 9am, the coordinator email complaining that one of our guests had drawn on a table cloth. I don't know why she bothered us with this especially since I gave her my moms and my mohs number. This issue was also already addressed with my parents the night before and so there was no reason to bother us. Many other communication errors happened.

Great Oaks Country Club was the perfect venue for my wedding. The entire staff (espcially Amber!) went above and beyond, and my guests are still talking about how my wedding was one of the most beautiful with the best food. My husband and I were coming in from out of town, and I actually never visited Great Oaks in person before I booked (my mom did though). It was the perfect setting for my wedding - the grounds are perfect for pictures, I had a large ballroom with windows and a wraparound porch. I was able to have an outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in the same place. Amber, the coordinator, made the day stressfree and fun! She handled all the details for vendor coordination, last minute requests, and smooth flow for the day. She is an asset to Great Oaks, and a big reason to choose Great Oaks. Great price for all the offerings!

Our wedding was something I will never forget, thanks to the staff at Great Oaks. We were completely blown away with the level of service they provided throughout the entire experience (from the tasting to the day and night of). The room and entire country club is absolutely gorgeous and definitely worth every penny. We had 200 guests and everyone fit comfortably. They accommodated a 20 person head table with no problem. The Bar in the same area as the dance floor/DJ, and because of that (and my great DJ) we had about 100 people left at the end of the night (midnight). Amber is the coordinator and she was so calm and organized...we loved her. Honestly, I am so thankful we found this hidden gem. Thank you so much everyone who helped make our day so amazing!! You all completely exceeded all our expectations!

Great Oaks Country Club was the perfect way to celebrate our wedding. Stephanie was amazing and helped me create the vision I wanted for my wedding day! She also made sure all the small details were perfect, like making sure we had appetizers while we were taking pictures on the golf course to giving us ideas for a mirrored seating chart. The food was delicious (we heard nothing but compliments from all our guests) and they have a gourmet pastry chef that made our cake on site. All the essentials were included in the price, which helped make planning stress free! I felt like part of the great oaks family and wish I could do it all over again!

I can't say enough nice things about Great Oaks. Stephanie the hall coordinator did such a lovely job with our wedding and was very helpful. The food at the wedding had so many options and it was amazing. It's nice that you can get the cake through the hall. The cake itself turned out great also. There's a lot of great places to take pictures on the golf course. Everything was perfect. Thanks so much!! They were reasonable priced for the area. Loved that we had a private room with windows, outside balcony, ect..

This was the PERFECT place for our wedding!! Stephanie Craft (Director) is the most amazing lady; she will make sure that everything is taken care of in a timely, accurate manner. The staff at Great Oaks were incredibly nice and courteous. Our guests were amazed at how beautiful our wedding turned out and how smoothly the night went. If you want a convenient location, lovely venue, wonderful staff, and you don't want to break the bank, Great Oaks Country Club is right for you!!

The team at Great Oaks was great. The service provided on the day of the wedding was fantastic. The food was outstanding and all of my guests were raving about it for months after. The large windows, porch, and decor of the room make for a great atmosphere. You have to pay for valet parking as part of your wedding package, which I think is strange since the parking lot is directly in front of the doors. \r\rMy husband and I returned to Great Oaks to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. We are not members but they let us have dinner there since we had our wedding reception there. Dinner was fantastic and a great reminder of our wedding day.

We had an excellent experience at Great Oaks. The venue is beautiful. It was a large enough space to comfortably seat 140 guests for dinner and dancing. Lovely view of the golf course. Guests could wander out on the deck. The food was fantastic!! We received so many compliments. Everyone did an excellent job - the chef, bartenders, waitstaff, valets, receptionist. Stephanie was a gem to work with. Once dinner was over, Sean took over managing the event and was very helpful for cleanup. There were many extra touches including an extremely fun and courteous staff the day of the event.

Having our wedding reception at Great Oaks Country Club was one of the best decisions we made. No regrets! Stephanie was the best coordinator - very detail-oriented and organized - and made sure our wedding was executed flawlessly. She even dressed up the day of the wedding in our wedding colors, which just shows her dedication. The venue was gorgeous with the views of the golf course in the background. They let us use the golf carts for pictures and even provide a four-some for golf to the groom to use at a future date, which was much appreciated for the golf fan. Bartender was amazing, cooks fabulous, valet crew awesome, service staff impeccable. Everyone was impressed, especially with the food, even saying it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. After the staff cleaned up for the night, they made an area of all our items for us to pick up the next morning after the wedding. Just knowing they were taking care of everything was a life-saver to us. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a classy reception venue with top-notch service at a great value.

There was a new chef hired just before my wedding and the food was even better the day of than at my tasting. If I had it to do over again, I wouldn't change a thing.

Great Oaks is a gorgeous venue at an affordable price. My husband and I knew as soon as we walked in that was exactly where we wanted to get married so we changed our anticipated wedding date to one they had available. The food is excellent and my guests could not have been happier. Lindsay was great to work with and fast and responsive. She told me that my weddings was one of the least demanding weddings she has had in a while. We did our centerpieces ourselves and Lindsay did a great job setting them up and making the room look beautiful as I imagined. I did have some instances in which my guests were unhappy with the services received but overall I have absolutely no complaints about working with Great Oaks. \r\rI definitely recommend booking your wedding with their staff and beautiful venue.

Overall it was great. Some things were done a little late and some questions not asked, but we found a solution and it worked out. I felt like the event planner there cared about us having a good time, but I think that she has too much work on her plate and is overworked so some things fell through the cracks. The venue is beautiful and well located so it was a perfect choice for us.

We had my daughter's wedding 8/11/2012 at Great Oaks Country Club. We were very pleased with the staff and the event coodinator Lindsey. They were always available to answer ny questions we had. The food was fabulous and every thing went very smoothly. Lindsey Allen was lik our own wedding planner and she coodinated all the details. I would recommend this venue \rand give it 5 stars!

Overall it was a beautiful place to have our reception. There is a large veranda overlooking the golf course. You can take your pictures on the golf course. My guests commented on how well they liked the food. The event coordinator was very organized on the day of. The only drawback was they didnt seem to have enough power to handle all the things we needed such as the DJ and lighting. During the dancing the power failed a couple times.

My name is Keli and I am the Director of Events here at Great Oaks and also an Officiant. I have my Associates in Business Administration and graduated with Honors and have Bachelors in Hospitality from Madonna University. I have been in the Hospitality industry for over 20 years and I know how overwhelming it can be planning your big day.
