My wife and I chose to have our wedding reception here at Green Acres Event Center and we were extremely pleased with how everything turned out! The space offered plenty of accommodations for the wedding party and guests. The patio area was fantastic! Overall working with Green Acres and team was a great experience and made our wedding day very special (and worry free!!). Would highly recommend!

My wife and I chose to have our wedding reception here at Green Acres Event Center and we were extremely pleased with how everything turned out! The space offered plenty of accommodations for the wedding party and guests. The patio area was fantastic! Overall working with Green Acres and team was a great experience and made our wedding day very special (and worry free!!). Would highly recommend!

We hosted our NYE wedding at Green Acres Event center and the day could not have been more perfect!! Brooke guided us through every single detail and executed flawlessly. There was plenty of room for all of our guests and with the beauty of the facility, we needed very minimal additional decorations. Our photos turned out amazing with all the facility had to offer. We would 100% recommend this facility to anyone looking to hold any event or wedding.

We hosted our NYE wedding at Green Acres Event center and the day could not have been more perfect!! Brooke guided us through every single detail and executed flawlessly. There was plenty of room for all of our guests and with the beauty of the facility, we needed very minimal additional decorations. Our photos turned out amazing with all the facility had to offer. This venue is awesome! So beautiful and simple to book! The catering and staff work really well together. This makes planning a wedding so much easier having the confidence in the venue staff and caterers. I would recommend this venue to anyone for weddings or any other type of event.

10/10! When we walked into Green Acres we knew immediately we needed to get married here. Our experience exceeded our expectations. Brooke is AMAZING to deal with. The venue does a lot more for you than most venues do. They are hands on and extremely friendly. Our day was seamless because of every single staff member. Cannot speak highly enough.

We had our wedding at Green Acres on 10/7/23 and it was the best day ever! Green Acres is so beautiful and there are so many little details that make everything so wonderful. Many of our guests commented on how amazing our venue was and we are just so happy we picked it. We got married outside in the trees were they hold the ceremonies and during our ceremony a bunch of turkeys were in the field close by. Must be good luck on a wedding day!

My husband and I recently had our wedding reception at Green Acres and I can not say enough about the venue and the staff. The setting is absolutely beautiful, Brooke (the venue coordinator) is so well organized, helpful and responsive. We did not hire a day-of coordinator so we relied a lot on Brooke and she did not disappoint! So many of our guests have commented that it was one of the most beautiful wedding venues they've ever attended. We had the absolute best day and it's all thanks to the great venue and staff.

My husband and I got married at Green Acres this October and we could not be happier with how everything turned out! Brooke was incredible to work with- she is so organized, positive, and very prompt with answering any questions we had. The venue alone is just absolutely gorgeous and unique. All of our guests are still commenting on how beautiful and fun the venue is. We had a few kids at our wedding and they loved the area outside to play. There is so much charm and warmth at Green Acres that we hardly had to add any of our own decorations!

My wife and I really enjoyed how involved the wedding co-ordinator was throughout the whole process. She was a literal life saver during a few moments of crisis. Always kept me up to date on everything and very responsive in her communications. The event center itself is absolutely gorgeous! I fell in love with the antique interior right away. When I saw my wife waiting for me at the end of the aisle, all of the lights were creating this gorgeous glow about her... I honestly fell in love all over again. The only downside I could see being a possible issue for other brides is that there is no bathroom in the bridal suite, it is only a few feet away from the suite itself. But nervous energy meant needing to kick out all guests on the saloon floor. This got quite annoying to many guests, they understood but that was the only flaw I could possibly see.

Green Acres Event Center was the most amazing place for us to have our wedding reception! The barn has so much character, fun touches, clean and is beautifully decorated. Also at night the lights that light up the barn on the outside is the cherry on top to the whole barn look. The brand new bridal sweet as well is a perfect getting ready room for the bridal party and the entire grounds in general are perfect for wedding photos. We had our first look in front of the bridal sweet and the photos were perfect. The staff at Green Acres, specially Brooke, is top notch and was so great to work with when wedding planning. Great communication, helpful (on the day of too) and was very open to any and all ideas you might have for your event. We canât recommend Green Acres enough, lived up to everything we had hoped for to make it our dream wedding!

We had the best wedding day at Green Acres! Brooke and Gaby are super easy to work with and were always quick to respond to my many questions via email. They made themselves available for us to come see the space in the midst of wedding planning so we could figure out details like where to put what kind of table. They also had a new bridal getting ready space that was awesome. Our wedding day was hot (100 deg) but the shaded ceremony space gave our guests some relief from the heat and many of them commented on how nice that was. The gorgeous outside of the venue has a beautiful fire pit area and is inviting in every way! Even better than the gorgeous venue and great location is Brooke and the staff! The staff was so helpful every step of the way - and even though the venue manager Brooke had a family conflict during our event, Victoria stepped in and did a great job! Could not have asked for a better venue! Green Acres was the perfect venue for our wedding reception! This is a beautiful venue with a fun atmosphere. Everything from their in house furniture and decor fit in perfectly with what we wanted. So many people commented on how cool the space was, both inside and outside, we had something for everyone to enjoy. We enjoyed working with Brooke and could always count on a timely response to any question during the planning process up to the final walk through. Day of she was a rock star in coordinating vendors and any issues that arose.

If I ever get the opportunity to host another event I would 100% go with Green Acres Event Center! We got married early May of 2023 which, of course, means the possibility of rain, snow, and sunshine. Luckily, we were offered to decide up until the morning of on whether we wanted an indoor or outdoor ceremony which is awesome! We had Brooke by our side every step of the way during the planning process and the day of. She was amazing at keeping everything together and running smoothly. There were a lot of decisions to be made during the walk through and the rehearsal which she assisted with in every aspect. Itâs hard to say everything went the way you wanted on your big day but I can honestly say that everything involving this venue and the staff were PERFECT! I would recommend them no matter the occasion!!

We believe this is largely because of the feel and flow of Green Acres. Brooke was amazing to work with and took away any chance to become overwhelmed. I had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners who clearly puts her heart and soul into the space and does everything with intentionality. The photos were outstanding because the venue creates amazing photo opportunities. I couldn't imagine our daughter's wedding anywhere else!

Brooke was excellent in the planning phase, always responding to communication promptly and answering questions clearly. I never felt like I was left hanging or didn't know what to expect. Amazing venue!! Beautiful and spacious. We had so many compliments from our guests. Brooke was amazing to work with. There is a elevator for people who need assistance getting up stairs! The decor inside is so charming! Pair this venue with green mills catering and you got the best duo! Would book again!

Amazing venue!! Beautiful and spacious. We had so many compliments from our guests. Brooke was amazing to work with. There is a elevator for people who need assistance getting up stairs! The decor inside is so charming! Pair this venue with green mills catering and you got the best duo! Would book again!

We had an incredible experience for our daughter's wedding reception at Green Acres on 11/4/22! The barn is a perfect blend of rustic & elegance and was just the right size for our guests!! Love love love the chandeliers over the wood floor which was SO FUN to dance on! We had so many compliments from so many of our guests who had driven by the venue but had no idea it was so unique and amazing on the inside! The silo/wine cellar decor with that incredible chandelier overhead! The cows in the pasture, horse in the back yard:) And.....John Deere tractor out front. Perfect venue for the farmer's granddaughter. We worked with Brooke and she was amazing! Super helpful, responsive, flexible, accommodating and patiently answered all of this MOB's questions. We had some specific requests to move some things around to customize the look with our décor, etc., and Brooke and team made it all happen. If only I had more kids.....I would love to plan another wedding at Green Acres! :)

Green acres was a dream. Brooke was absolutely amazing to work with and responded quickly to all my crazy bride emails. The only thing I would say that we didnât love was the catering choices. The bartenders were the absolute best, but, the only food that was edible was the pizza (which we got). The person that was in charge of the tasting had a really bad attitude and made everyone at the tasting uncomfortable. That was pretty much the only bad thing but the venue itself was stunning, I canât recommend them enough!

My one note for future couples would the VIP room; it's small and is not the best for storage/hanging out with your bridal party. Just be sure to plan ahead if you have a lot of things to bring with you, and if you plan to do getting ready photos on premises.

We had both our ceremony and reception in the upstairs of the barn (which is gorgeous) and received a ton of compliments. The room flip, which I was hesitant about, went super smoothly during happy hour. And the location in Eden Prairie was super convenient for everyone. Green Acres and the manager (Brooke) made our experience literally as perfect as possible! There were a lot of moving parts, but they were so flexible and helpful in making our day special. They did not have a lot of limitations like other venues. This was one of the more beautiful venues we looked at, yet it was somehow the most affordable we were seriously considering. They had a few catering options to choose from, and Green Mill was OUTSTANDING! We received so many comments on how it was the best wedding food people have ever had. Highly recommend a buffet style catering from Green Mill. I again cannot emphasize enough how helpful the staff at Green Acres were ,and accommodating just about any request we had, if not compromising and making it work as best as possible. The picture spots on site were also gorgeous, even though it is nestled into a \"big city.\" It was an added bonus that pets are allowed, so we had our dog join us outdoors to visit guests and take sunset photos. Anytime I reached out for a question or request, I was surprised every time with how quick the communication was, and how accommodating they were.We also received many comments on how beautiful the venue was. If you don't want to spend lots of time, stress, and money decorating a venue, pick Green Acres! It is beautiful the way it is. I am so thankful we decided on this venue and we would do it over many more times if we had to!

I cannot tell you how many people came up to me gushing about the place and how beautiful it was. The coordinators at the event center are also incredible and were so easy to work with. The space is 2 floors plus an outdoor area, so it feels big but also it can be set up to feel more intimate if you wish. I cannot recommend this place enough, it is truly an amazing place for a wedding!

Green Acres is an incredible event center. The ambiance, the decor, the space, everything about it is perfection. We could not have imagined a more perfect ceremony and reception space for our wedding on May 8th, 2021. The upper level of the barn where everyone ate was absolutely gorgeous with high ceilings and chandeliers. The outdoor space was also really nice to have, especially since COVID precautions were still in place and we wanted everyone to feel safe and able to space out if they needed to. So many people raved about Amber and the rest of the staff and how hospitable they were throughout the night. Amber checked on my husband and I so many times to see if we needed anything, including food which was much appreciated. Such a fun environment and space for a wedding! We had our wedding here on 8/14/2020- it turned out better than we ever imagined (especially considering 2020 and the pandemic)!Green Acres was so wonderful to work with, from rescheduling our original date, to making a last minute decisions about ceremony location due to weather (we lucked out, and our ceremony was outdoors & the storms held off until everyone was inside for dinner).I was able to completely trust that they would take care of everything, and focus on the day. Everyone is completely professional, accommodating, and lovely to work with! We 100% recommend having your wedding here. As for safety, I was so happy and relived to know that not one single person who attended has gotten sick in the 2 months following our wedding. My mom who was undergoing chemo for breast cancer and my 91 year old grandmother were my primary concerns, but both insisted on attending. We had masks & hand sanitizer, and of course the event center had several policies in place regarding sanitization. Unfortunately, my husband's father was unable to travel from California due to health issues, but he was able to be on Facetime on an iPad for the whole ceremony, and throughout the reception. I'm not sure this could have been accomplished so effortlessly at other venues, and am so glad we had our wedding at Green Acres. Because of the venue and the staff, my husband and I are able to recall our wedding day and think only of the joy we had- and not about any issues or worries we thought would be on our minds.

My fiance and I were taken aback with the beauty of this place when we first toured. We were sold right away! There are no hidden costs (seriously!), the staff are super responsive and welcoming, and they had COVID-safe policies that we were comfortable with. Our wedding day was absolutely beautiful, too! We were able to have an outdoor ceremony, which was covered by trees and GREEN. So beautiful. We were able to get SO many good photos as well -- there are great spots for photos! Seriously recommend this venue! We even got married on a non-traditional day (Thursday), which made it super affordable for us. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

Green Acres Event Center is an AMAZING venue! As a wedding photographer, I get super excited whenever a client says they are going to have their day there. It's beautiful, first off, but their staff is fantastic and that is super important on such a busy day. They work extremely well with not only the couple, but the vendors as well. The venue itself it GORGEOUS- it has so much charm that we barely had to decorate to make it look picture perfect! We received SO many compliments on how awesome the space was! This venue was beautiful and everything we were looking for! Lauren, who was our contact person, made things as least stressful as possible. She knew vendor suggestions, who to speak with, she helped take parking issues off our hands-really took care of a lot of the âlittleâ details a bride doesnât want to deal with! Everyone was so sweet and helpful, they helped us make this the best day ever!!

We used Green Acres for our winter wedding venue and reception. I would highly recommend Green Acres as a venue. We had our ceremony upstairs, followed by social hour downstairs, with dinner and dance to follow back upstairs. The barn is gorgeous and created the cozy wintery vibe we were going for. The windows and chandeliers create a warm and desirable look. We received a lot of positive feedback on the venue, decorations, and the atmosphere. I love all the various areas we were able to use for pictures as well. The outdoor firepit added to the cold evening. Lauren was great to work with. She was quick to respond to communication, answered all questions thoroughly, and assisted with making our wedding day run smoothly. There were no hidden costs and everything was upfront. Overall it was a smooth process.

I was in a wedding there this past summer and have told numerous friends and family about how beautiful this place was!!! I have been to barn weddings in the past, but this venue is like no other. AND IT WAS AIR CONDITIONED. The staff was amazing and efficient and the food was absolutely wonderful. The venue manager was awesome and any questions that we had on the day of the wedding were all answered and taken care of. Everything went better than anyone could have imagined. I am helping a friend with venues for their wedding, and Green Acres Barn is already on their tour list!!!

This venue was the best. I loved everything about it. This venue was actually the only one we visited. It fit our personalities perfectly. Not only is it absolutely stunning, there's something for every type of wedding guest. The wallflowers, the dancers, the kids, and everyone in between kept saying what a blast they were having. Lauren, was great to work with. She was knowledgeable, upbeat, and understanding. I'm the self proclaimed worst bride ever, and she was able to make feel like I was nailing this whole wedding planning thing. The team was so great at setting up and taking down, and were able to do it in a way where no one noticed or was inconvenienced. The outdoor area for the ceremony was perfect for our 7 minute ceremony. The guests LOVED the secret room. The upstairs is beautiful and spacious . I could go on and on, but I'll spare you. If you are looking for a fun venue in convenient locations, go here. I loved it and I'm sad it is over.

Green Acres was amazing to work with and our wedding day was absolutely perfect there! They let us bring our dogs for the ceremony and photos which meant the world to us. The barn upstairs is absolutely gorgeous and there is plenty of beautiful outdoor space as well. The kids absolutely loved all the cows around and so many people complimented us on the venue location, atmosphere and how much they loved it. The outdoor ceremony space was perfect as well. Could not have asked for a better for venue for rustic elegance but also an atmosphere that lends itself to having a good time!Highly recommend!

We knew this was our venue the moment we walked in during our tour! It was elegant, rustic, beautiful, charming⊠I could go on and on! From the first open house to our final walk-through, our venue coordinator Lauren was great to work with! She answered my many emails with question after question, and was flexible with our random requests (like saving a few handicapped/reserved parking spots for specific guests, helping set up our centerpieces so my parents didnât have to, etc.). Seeing our reception vision put to life with centerpieces and flowers, surrounded by our 200 guests, was the best sight to see! Green Acres provided such a unique setting to our day that our guests couldnât stop talking about. I wish I could do it all over and over again!

We loved having our wedding ceremony and reception at Green Acres. It was the day of the April snow storm and the staff made everything possible that day. The food arrived hot even in a snow storm. It was so beautifully decorated on the inside already that we didn't need to do much. Our guests loved the venue as well!! So many options for pictures on site and great lighting upstairs. It was a beautiful memorable day!! We recommend Green Acres to anyone looking for a barn, vintage wedding đ

Our wedding at Green Acres was perfection! We chose this venue because it was unique, memorable, and there was nothing besides centerpieces that we needed to invest in decor!! This venue has it all - we had 120 guests at our wedding for ceremony, dinner and reception and there was plenty of space and we did not feel cramped. My hope was that our guests felt comfortable, welcome, ate good food and had a memorable experience - we absolutely accomplished this with Green Acres and Sterling Catering. The only limitation I would say with this venue is if you are over 150 guests you may feel cramped and you may have a different experience. This venue was PERFECT for us and we appreciated that we did not need to spend any money on uplighting/draping/etc to spruce up the place... it's already gorgeous and adding too much decor would have distracted from the investment in the venue itself. Keep it simple and go with Green Acres!

We got married Sept 30 and the venue was everything and more than we could have ever imagined! All of our guests thought it was such a unique experience with both the inside and the outside space! The food was PERFECT! We went with Sterling catering for our food (recommended by Green Acres) and our guests kept coming up to us telling us how wonderful the food tasted! The venue is very elegant with rustic charm and everything went off without a hitch (that I know of :)) You will not be disappointed when you choose this venue!
