Janay Swailes(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 09-04-2022 We had our wedding here and it was amazing! We had our wedding inside due to the time of year and the event centre looked beautiful with the new wood floors. Through the planning process, they were very responsive to every question and request I had. The conferences services manager was very helpful and easy to work with. On the wedding weekend everything was very well set up and organized and right on time, they did the majority of the setup with me just bringing in some decor. The food was fantastic with several guests saying it was the best wedding food they had ever had. Our day went off without a hitch! The majority of our guests stayed at the venue for 2 or 3 nights and everyone was really happy with their stay. The staff at the hotel were all great, from the front desk to the bartenders and the shuttle drivers. Reviewed on 17-04-2022
Marina Anderson(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 03-07-2021 The team at Grouse worked with me in a tough time to change my venue from their other property (Glacier Park Lodge) to Grouse in Whitefish for covid reasons, which I am so thankful for.During the planning process there wasn't much communication unless I reached out to them with questions. Partially due to changes in team I assume. For the wedding I felt there was some help but not much and when I was gone doing my first look my bridal party had to basically do everything to set up for the wedding and were given a bit of a hard time for that. No one ever guided me to tell me to leave room to start wedding, no shuttle was there to take me to ceremony as told, there was confusion on the bridal get ready room availability the morning of my wedding, etc. It all worked out okay and I'm still glad I chose this location. They stayed on schedule well and the food was GREAT, every guest said so. Definitely do not have your wedding here if you are not laid back or if you don't want to hire a planner and coordinator of your own. Also, suggest a second hotel for a block as Grouse is a bit pricey for what you get, were short staffed so minimal hours and service at the bar/restaurant, ran out of towels, weren't super helpful in other food delivery options, etc. Overall okay experience at this venue but still happy with wedding and had so much fun. From start to finish they organized everything, created a custom menu, and the service was phenomenal. The space was also gorgeous! Amelia Hartke(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 13-04-2021 A beautiful space that provides almost everything needed for a wedding! No worrying about getting chairs, tablecloths, or a stopping system. You have to use them for food but the food was delicious!! A lot of our guests stayed at the lodge and it made for a nice atmosphere leading up to the wedding. Almost everyone you’d run into was a family or friend. Definitely recommend! Jacqueline Mackinnon(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-06-2018 My stars are directly related to Ryan and Emmie of Grouse mountain lodge. What a pleasure it was to work with them as I planned my destination wedding. Ryan was patient and understanding, absolute delight and wonderful to work with. Emmie was my initial contact and she was just wonderful and ultimately the reason I decided to hold my wedding at the lodge. She was understanding, reassuring and answered all my crazy questions in a timely manner. Ryan never missed a beat, from our initial email, to the planning of the wedding with my crazy ideas about table settings, he was the best, and truly made my stress level diminish! Grouse mountain lodge is lucky to have Emmie and Ryan as part of their team, they made it work, they were efficient and I could not have asked for better. The rooms were nice, clean and had great views. Food was fantastic, we are in the wine room which was beautiful as well. The cook was overly accommodating to our wedding desires and the staff, Josh, was well mannered and absolutely a delight! It was a perfect day, perfectly executed by the Grouse Mountain team, thank you. Last minute note: we got married on the lawn sight by the golf course, what a beautiful area! Perfect for small weddings! Reviewed on 10-07-2018
