Grove at Briar Barn Inn is an elegant countryside wedding venue located in Rowley, MA. The rustic charm of a custom white post-and-beam barn makes the picture-perfect backdrop for a memorable wedding in any season. Ideally suited for weddings of 80 to 100 guests, Grove at Briar Barn Inn provides the planning services of a dedicated team, all equipment, and our renowned catering as part of each wedding package. This full-service approach makes planning seamless, allowing our couples to relax and enjoy the wedding experience. Grove at Briar Barn Inn hosts weddings and events year-round in three different wedding seasons. Our Peak Season is from May-October, the Off-Peak Season in November, December, and April, and finally our Winter Season from January-March. Wedding receptions in our barn have a maximum capacity of 100 guests in all seasons. The 30 spacious guest rooms at Briar Barn Inn are within walking distance to our ceremony and reception locations in the barn. Our clients love the seamless transition from getting ready in a comfortable guest room or wedding suite to walking to the ceremony and entering the celebration- each location steps away from the next!

We had our wedding at Briar Barn Inn on 3/11/23 and we continue to receive compliments about our venue/food/wedding from our guests - we have the entire grove team to thank! Our wedding coordinator, Alyssa, made the day so easy and seemless for us. She constantly checked in with us and also made sure all the decor and other vendors were all set. The carefully coordination made the day so relaxing and stress free. Briar Barn is a beautiful venue and perfect for our ~85 person guest count.The food was amazing and the servers were super attentive and accommodating. We still continue to go back for brunch/dinner & the chocolate chip cookies! We would 100% choose Briar Barn Inn again and love that we are able to go back and stay at the inn/visit the restaurant after our wedding. The accommodations at the Inn were incredible too!

My husband and I got married at the Grove in November and had the most incredible experience working with Jeannine and the team at the Grove and the Briar Barn! The Grove is a stunning place so it felt we did not have to do much at all to make it feel special. We are still getting compliments from family and friends about how beautiful the space was, how incredible the food was, and how cozy the Inn was! Our coordinator Jeannine made sure we had everything we needed leading up do and especially during the wedding- she was always making sure out drinks were full, we were eating, and we knew what was coming next! I could not have imagined our day going any more perfectly. We highly recommend the Grove at Briar Barn Inn for any event, but especially a wedding!

We just had our wedding at Briar Barn Inn on October 20th and the compliments about our venue have been endless! The best food I have ever had at a wedding, I was so lucky it was mine! Filet mignon was melt in your mouth and they were able to customize my little brothers meal who is extremely picky. My Wedding Coordinator Julia went above and beyond to help us with every little detail. We even had a meal be delivered to the Inn itself since a guest could not attend! Comfortable and cozy atmosphere, I barely lifted a finger on my special day. I would recommend Briar Barn to anyone and everyone.

Our wedding at the Grove was on September 24, 2023. We are so happy we picked the Grove. The whole process was smooth and Jeannine was a great asset to our wedding day (from making sure we had what we needed, to taking care of special requests, to really making sure we were not stressed out). We were planning to have the ceremony outdoors but the weather did not cooperate and it was such a easy transition and seamless decision to move the ceremony indoors. There was no glitch. The inside ceremony was even more beautiful and I'm so happy it worked out. We had the bridal suite at the Briar Barn Inn and my fiance/husband had the room at the Grove to get ready. So we were basically at the same location all day and we had some guests staying there as well. The ceremony and the reception were beautiful. The food was great, better than expected. We stayed at the Briar Barn Inn so the staff was able to pack up a lot of our decorations to be picked up the next day so we didn't have to worry about packing up everything ourselves. This was a huge bonus.We had an amazing day and again I am so happy we choose the Grove.

There is not one thing that I would have changed about having my wedding at The Grove! It was everything I imagined, and more! Where do I even start? The ambiance is absolutely breathtaking, it was so warm, inviting, and cozy! I knew from the start I wanted to have a barn wedding, but after looking at a few different venues nothing caught my eye. Well, all that was just meant to be because the second I saw The Grove I immediately knew that that was where I wanted to get married! It is stunning, charming, and intimate to say the least! We went for a tour, and after seeing the venue, the grounds, and the inn I was in awe! The booking process was very straight forward, and every staff member that we have met along the way has been so friendly and helpful! And I canât forget to mention the absolute life saver that they provided us with, Planning Pod! We were able to make payments, create our floor plan, put in our guestsâ meal choices, and so much more! The process really couldnât have been any simpler! We decided to get married in December, which meant that The Grove and the grounds were beautifully decorated for Christmas! The garlands, the wreaths, and the thousands of lights just completely sealed the deal! It was an absolute fairytale! Julia was our assigned event coordinator and she was the sweetest! On our first meeting, she put my mind completely at ease and already had everything under control with the schedule of events and locations of where everyone needed to be at what time on the day of the wedding. She had no problems with any of our menu customizations or requests, and pretty much answered all of my questions before I could even ask them! She went above and beyond on the wedding day with making sure that we both had enough to eat and drink, that we had a piece of each flavor of our wedding cake to try, and even boxed up our food that we didnât finish so we could enjoy it later! Speaking of food, it was delicious!! When I tell you that our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was, and all of the hors d'oeuvres that just kept coming out, no one went hungry that night! As another plus, it is so convenient to have Briar Barn Inn only steps away from The Grove, not only for us but also for our guests if they chose to stay since we live 2 hours away! We stayed 2 nights and Iâm so glad we did! The rooms are beautiful and clean, the staff were so friendly and helpful with whatever we needed, and we cannot wait to go back next year to celebrate our anniversary! I could go on all day, but just know that you will not be disappointed with having your special day here at The Grove! It was so magical, I instantly missed it the second we left!

The Grove is an amazing restaurant with the most delicious food, especially their tater tots! My husband and I were fortunate enough to be able to have our wedding there and the convenience of staying at the Briar Barn Inn afterwards. From planning to conception everything went off without a hitch! All of our guests had an amazing time and loved the beautiful atmosphere with our wedding floral arrangements and the Grove's own Christmas decor (which was free of charge for us!). Not to mention, the food was delicious! Everyone was raving about the tater tots we had served as our late night snack, so good! Our event coordinator Julia was incredible! She was so sweet, kind, accommodating, and on point! Anything we asked for, she delivered! We received so many compliments for her from our guests asking where in the world we found her, they loved her and so did we! Looking forward to our next dinner date there! Love you guys! <3

Amazing venue. BBI was the one and only venue we looked at - after our tour we knew we didnât have to look any further. The food was incredible and service from staff was top notch. 6 months later I still have friends and family telling me how beautiful everything was. My husband and I got married at Grove at Briar Barn July 2023. From start to end, the night was incredible and everything we could have asked for. Julia, our wedding coordinator was fantastic. She made sure everything went so smoothly and even with rain in the forecast, she had a plan B to have the ceremony inside, but she assured us not to worry and that we didnât have to decide until the last minute which was so helpful. We were able to have the ceremony outside after all and even all of pictures before the rain came. The reception was equally as incredible with the amazing food and everything flowed so perfectly and went off without a hitch. From the moment we booked our wedding, we knew we were in good hands. The night was everything we could have dreamed of and we are so grateful we chose Briar Barn Inn for our wedding venue. I stayed here three years prior and saw a wedding taking place and just knew this was going to be the place I got married someday and Iâm so thankful my dream came true.

We had our wedding at Grove in August 2023. It was a beautiful day executed flawlessly by the Grove staff.During the booking process the sales team was responsive, friendly, and transparent with pricing. During the planning process the events team was very responsive and helpful. The portal and planning information had answers to most of the questions I had. We used several of their recommended vendors and were very satisfied with all of them. During the final planning stages our coordinator Emily was a dream to work with. She was friendly, responsive, and organized even when things got a little chaotic in the final days. On the day of, Emily was a calming, confident presence and made us all feel at ease. All of our decor was perfectly placed with great care. Our guests raved about the food. The appetizers were abundant and all delicious. Dinenr was well timed so everyone ate at the same time and the food was nice and hot. We did their ice cream sundae bar for dessert and it was probably my favorite thing of the whole day. Overall, we could not have been happier with our perfect day. We highly recommend Grove!

The entire team completely exceeded every expectation we had and made the wedding planning process seamless and easy. They thought of everything and held our hands the entire way. Julia, our coordinator, was OUTSTANDING. She was so organized and on top of every single detail. We fell in love with her!! She is a TRUE PRO. Billie Sue and the inn team made us and our guests feel right at home. I can't imagine anywhere on the North Shore handles weddings as well as this team. 10/10 incredible.

We had the most wonderful wedding day at Briar Barn Inn! We worked with Julia, who made sure the day went seamlessly. We even had guests comment that theyâd never been to a wedding where seemingly nothing went awry! We canât recommend BBI/Grove enough!

Grove and Briar Barn Inn were absolutely amazing. We were assigned Jeannine as our contact and she could not have done a better job. I was very particular and we had a ton of moving parts through out our wedding weekend and she handled everything with ease and professionalism. I will always remember how much she did for us on my wedding weekend. As for the venue itself we did the full buyout for the weekend and it was absolutely amazing. Our guests could not say enough about the food, rooms, and overall service. This really is a beautiful place to celebrate with friends and family.

Grove and Briar Barn Inn were absolutely amazing. We were assigned Jeannine as our contact and she could not have done a better job. We had our wedding at The Briar Barn inn on August 13th, 2023, and it was absolutely perfect! The venue is absolutely stunning, with its lush greenery surrounding the property and cozy vibes. The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable. Our guests raved about the food, and how friendly and accommodating the staff were. Our wedding coordinator, Alyssa, was amazing! She was so helpful and organized, and she made sure that everything went smoothly on our big day. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or a better wedding coordinator.Here are some specific things that we loved:The food: The food was absolutely delicious! Everything was cooked to perfection, and they were able to accommodate several of your guests dietary restrictions. Our guests raved about the food, and everyone couldnât stop talking about the signature cookies.The Location: The venue is surrounded by lush greenery, which made it feel so romantic and elegant. The greenery and trees behind and around the ceremony site set the mood and were exactly what we were looking for, the same goes for the more rustic and cozy reception hall, we especially loved the bistro lights.The staff: The staff was so friendly and accommodating! They were always there to help us with anything we needed and the bartender went above and beyond and was such a great guy. Our wedding coordinator, Alyssa, was especially amazing. She was so helpful and always replied quickly to emails and set us up with the online planning pod, and she made sure that everything was coordinated and went off without a hitch day of.We would highly recommend Briar Barn inn to anyone who is looking for a beautiful and elegant wedding venue. The staff was very helpful and attentive to us and everyone that came for our wedding. The entire weekend was amazing and we could not have asked for a more perfect host for our big day! The venue and inn were absolutely beautiful and our rooms were amazing. They were clean and very comfortable and spacious. It was the perfect place to celebrate our marriage. Having everything all in one place was something we really wanted for ourselves and for our guests. We were very happy with everything and would highly recommend the Briar Barn Inn for people looking to get married or have a nice weekend get away. We worked with Emily at the Briar Barn Inn for our wedding day. She was hands down the most amazing wedding coordinator we have seen or experienced. She was extremely helpful and walked us through every step leading up to our big day. Every email was answered quickly and she accommodated our every want and need to make this day incredible. On January 21, 2023 we had our wedding at Grove at Briar Barn Inn. The experience was the winter wonderland we had hoped for. We worked with many of the amazing staff members at Grove, including our coordinator Alyssa, who was organized, helpful and truly listened to our requests (she is even a master at removing red sauce stains from white wedding dresses). We were so lucky that itis snowed the night before. The grounds were lightly coated in snow, and we were able to take most of our photos outside by the front doors and the lights over the patio. The Grove was beautifully decorated with holiday décor which added to the coziness of the night.We still hear compliments about the food and daydream about it ourselves. From the many options of delicious appetizers, filet for dinner, and the various desserts, our guests were full and ready to celebrate. We chose the flatbreads as our late-night snack and our dancing crew appreciated another round of amazing food. The servers were happy to assist and joined in the wedding fun, which we will truly never forget. We loved that the cocktail area was open for people to take a break from the dance floor to mingle, eat and grab a drink throughout the wedding. An incredible perk is Briar Barn being right next door and for our guests it made lodging and traveling convenient for them before and after the wedding. We loved our winter wedding and would highly recommend the Grove to host any type of event.

I was able to see the ceremony area from my hotel room and was able to relax while I watched guests arrive before I walked down the aisle.Absolutely nothing went wrong on my wedding day and I had such an amazing, relaxing day. I was able to pass off the stress of small details and planning and just enjoy being around my friends and family. I truly believe that wouldnât have been possible without the crew at the Briar Barn. Even the front desk staff is always extremely friendly, professional, and accommodating.I have no negative feedback for Jeannine or the Briar Barn. My wife and I were married her in June, and I cannot recommend enough. The rooms: We stayed in the King Suite which was absolutely perfect for getting ready. Plenty of space for the entire wedding party to get ready and allowed our photographer to get some amazing getting ready photos. The view of the courtyard was absolutely stunning and it was such a joy to watch everything being set up. We had one small issue with the air conditioning but the maintenance was quick to address it as well as setting up a back up for us. The venue: Stunning all around. Everything was beautiful and quite literally exactly what my wife and I dreamed of for our wedding. The food: Delicious! We did the steak, the chicken, and the farrow, and over a month later our family and friends are still texting us about how amazing the food was. Every plate looked licked clean! The service: Everyone was amazing. I want to give a specific shoutout to Alyssa Tamlyn-Hayden, who was our event coordinator. She was such an amazing guide through the last leg of the process. We cannot thank her enough for helping realize our dream day. There was not a single hitch with everything that happened. She really understood exactly what we were hoping for and made sure it happened. The entire team did such an amazing job at everything. I don't think there is a single aspect I could complain about the service if I was forced to. Overall We cannot recommend the Briar Barn Inn and the Grove enough. Their amazing venue and team helped create our wedding. This is the most perfect place to get married, and we are so happy we were able to spend the day here.

We held our wedding on 04.21.23 at The Grove and honestly it was such an amazing experience. The Grove really caters to the guest. As soon as your guests arrive they are greeted with a welcome drink. After the ceremony, the cocktail hour was all set and ready for 85 people. It never stopped from there. There was no lag ever in the night. Our wedding planner Alyssa had great ideas and really walked us through the whole day. She really took care of everything. Our bus never showed up to pick up our guests and she immediately had another vendor we could contact. Even though this had nothing to do with the venue she had a solution. My husband and I have received so many compliments about our day and it is in complete thanks to the amazing staff at The Grove. Everything top to bottom was absolute class!

Some of the top things they have to offer outside of their beautiful venue is the Inn where you can block rooms for you and your guests to stay, the ample getting ready space (whether you choose to get ready in a suite at the inn or the bridal suite at the grove) the beautiful grounds allow for a beautiful backdrop for your outdoor ceremony and pictures and of course their AMAZING food options for your big day (their chef is amazing and the food is to die for!). I cannot forget to mention their warm chocolate chip cookies which is part of every wedding package and something they are known for! Something that was important to me was having a wedding in a location that allowed for guests to stay close by and enjoy their stay and this venue allowed for all of that. To top it off, you are offered a day of coordinator to help organize everything and make your wedding dreams come true. We were lucky enough to be paired with Emily M. and she was AMAZING! She was always quick to respond to any emails I sent and put me at ease the day of the wedding. While I cannot speak on behalf of all the other coordinators, I can only imagine that they are just as professional, organized and as kind as her! My husband and I hope to visit the briar barn inn and grove yearly to celebrate our marriage and reflect on our most perfect wedding day! đ€

We had a wonderful wedding weekend at the Grove and Briar Barn Inn!It was important to us to have accommodations on site for our wedding. The Briar Barn Inn exceeded our expectations in all things hospitality. They were incredibly accommodating, especially Chloe and Billie-Sue! They listened to all of our requests and were so helpful.Our wedding wouldnât have been complete without our event coordinator, Emily. She was outstanding!!!She was incredibly supportive and helpful. She listened intently and brought all of our wedding vision to life! She assisted with coordinating with our vendors, and our guests. She kept us all on time, and hydrate and fed! She also suggested that we have a moment after we get married to spend a few quiet minutes with one another. We took advantage of that special moment and we could not have been more grateful for that suggestion.The Grove is an incredibly gorgeous and cozy venue, we had about 65 guests and it was perfect for our wedding! It was so special and so unique. The Grove also has exceptional food, from the passed appetizers, to the accommodations with entrees and dietary restrictions/allergies (we subbed a few sides for our entrees) the culinary team was outstanding!We also ended the night with the delicious ice cream, donuts and cookies and we could not have been happier with that decision.A huge thank you to everyone at the Grove and Briar Barn Inn! The Grove was an incredible place to host our wedding. Our wedding was moody and romantic January wedding. We had 85 guests and the venue was a perfect site that balanced intimate and party atmosphere. Julia, our planner, handled every detail with attention and care. She was so lovely that I had many guests comment even days after the wedding about how all over every detail she was and with a smile. I would one thousand percent hire her again for any future event, if I could. I would argue that she and her boss, Kelsey, were the best parts of our wedding. They both helped deliver on any of our concerns, small or large. The food and drinks were absolutely incredible. Four months after and my foodie family is still raving. We were a little nervous after the food tasting, because the chef had tried some new ideas. We requested a second tasting and had more confidence. The day of, we were more than impressed. There is true advantage to The Grove being a restaurant- the food was elegant, tasty and filling for a very fair rate. When I told my photographer this was our venue, she lit up with joy and said \"OH MY GOSH THEIR FOOD... are you serving the steak!?\" We had many dietary needs and concerns about the varying view on alcohol consumption among our guests. The Grove handled all of these concerns exceptionally well and with care.Our only clunky part was figuring out hotels and room blocks. We were told we were holding the remaining rooms, when in reality, many of our guests were able to book their own reservations online at a much cheaper rate (about 40% off!). When addressed with the hotel, not much was done to rectify the situation - my room block rates were not lowered or matched to those who booked outside the block, the cost of the married couples room was not covered (even though this was standard practice across every other venue we looked at) A second pain point in planning was figuring out the getting ready space. Their lofted glam space is not offered until mid day, which does not allow for hair and make up serves and was really limiting. Again, our planner Julia saved the day with someone pulling off us getting a wedding suite (though we were told by the hotel this was booked already). It still would have been ideal to have the Lofted area available at 9am. Since first touring, this was the space I was dreaming of getting ready in. 11am is simply too late to offer as a getting ready space, especially for a winter wedding where daylight hours are short. Regardless of season, first looks are way too common now for 11am to be the earliest accommodation. I am grateful Julia found us solutions, but do think The Grove should figure out the LOFT service times for future weddings.

We were told we were holding the remaining rooms, when in reality, many of our guests were able to book their own reservations online at a much cheaper rate (about 40% off!). When addressed with the hotel, not much was done to rectify the situation - my room block rates were not lowered or matched to those who booked outside the block, the cost of the married couples room was not covered (even though this was standard practice across every other venue we looked at) A second pain point in planning was figuring out the getting ready space. Their lofted glam space is not offered until mid day, which does not allow for hair and make up serves and was really limiting. Again, our planner Julia saved the day with someone pulling off us getting a wedding suite (though we were told by the hotel this was booked already). It still would have been ideal to have the Lofted area available at 9am. Since first touring, this was the space I was dreaming of getting ready in. 11am is simply too late to offer as a getting ready space, especially for a winter wedding where daylight hours are short. Regardless of season, first looks are way too common now for 11am to be the earliest accommodation. I am grateful Julia found us solutions, but do think The Grove should figure out the LOFT service times for future weddings.

My daughter had a vision for the room and Jeannine made sure it was everything she envisioned and more. The food was delicious! We got married here 12.31.2022! It was the most perfect venue for our winter/NYE wedding. The entire staff was better than we could have asked for, they truly went above and beyond every step of the way. Julia, our coordinator answered every question we had, helped us make decisions and made us feel like we were important and never a bother. I couldn't have asked for anything more from her. The food was also to die for. Every single guest mentioned how delicious the food was and now months later people are texting us to ask if they can go get the lollipop lamb chops on their regular menu! The winter decor made it feel cozy and festive and we didn't need to spend extra money on making the space beautiful, as it already was. I cannot say enough positive things about this venue and staff. We cannot wait to go back and celebrate a date night or anniversary, which is another positive - the onsite accommodations at the Inn were such a life saver especially for an open bar. We LOVE Grove and would recommend it 100 times over!!

We had a winter wedding at the Grove this past February and it was amazing, everything was perfect. The venue looked beautiful, the food was excellent, the room was beautiful, and our wedding coordinator Alyssa was awesome, she really went out of her way to make sure that everything was perfect for us. She catered to our every need the day of the wedding and was instrumental during the planning process. We are still feeling our 'wedding high' because it was such a wonderful event. I would def recommend The Grove to anyone who is getting married. (I would also recommend purple uplighting for your event, it was such a nice touch and lit up the room beautifully.) The Grove is the perfect place for a wedding, it is intimate, rustic but modern and very, very romantic. Highly recommend.

I recently got married at The Grove at Briar Barn Inn on 06/25/2023 and overall, I had a great experience at the venue. The location was beautiful, and the food was outstanding. The summer setting made everything even more perfect. However, there were a few issues that we encountered during our wedding day.Firstly, some guests had trouble with the steak being too rare for their liking. While we did have a food trial before the wedding where the food was cooked perfectly, the same was not the case on the day of the wedding. It is understandable that it can be challenging to cook for a large number of people, but this is something that fell a bit flat during our wedding.We also had some miscommunication with our wedding coordinator regarding the cake needing to be refrigerated. Initially, she informed us that there might not be enough space for it due to a brunch they were having that day. This caused me unnecessary stress as a bride trying to figure out how to keep the cake cool for so many hours. Eventually, our coordinator was able to handle it, but it was not ideal.Lastly, when we initially booked the venue, we were told that there would be space for the groom's party to get ready/have a small room in the venue, which was also advertised on their website and during the tour. Unfortunately, when it was time to use the room, we were informed that it was now a storage room. Although we were able to get ready in our hotel room, this was a bit disappointing.Overall, I would recommend The Grove at Briar Barn Inn as a beautiful all-inclusive wedding venue. However, I would suggest that they work on their promises and customer service a bit more to avoid any miscommunications or unnecessary stress for future events.

We stayed at Briar Barn Inn for 2 nights (the night prior and night of) for our wedding at their sister location, Willowdale Estate. My only complaint was that I called a year prior to reserve the Grand King Suite and they stated that both of those suites were reserved. Personally I think they should reserve one of those rooms for the couple getting married at Briar Barn and they should reserve the second one for the couple getting married at Willowdale. Fortunately in June when I went to book my room, the grand king suite was available so I quickly reserved it. It would have been nice to have been contacted about it being available from Briar Barn but I'm glad I found it and was able to book it. We stayed at Briar Barn the night before our wedding so we could all have hair and makeup done in our suite. It was perfect because of the massive windows and completely separate sitting area so everyone was comfortable while having hair and makeup done. Every room had a bathtub and separate shower, a gas fireplace, and they served bakery sweets every morning. There is a keurig coffee machine available in the hallways which is always kept clean and well stocked. All of the guests were very pleased staying at Briar Barn Inn and I am very happy that I was able to stay in the suite I wanted. I wasn't sure if they would be overly strict about quiet time but they were very relaxed and easy going, I would definitely recommend staying here.

Julia was our coordinator and she was available before our wedding day for any questions, and was also there the day of until the very end of the night. We had exactly 100 guests, which is the max amount.. I would recommend having less than that. We wish we could do it all again, I would not change a thing! It was the most perfect day!

My husband and I were just married at The Grove this past weekend, 11.5.22. We could not have asked for a better experience! When we toured the venue last March we knew right away this was where we were going to get married. Alyssa was absolutely fantastic! I felt a little crazy right before our first meeting with her and she assured me that I was on the right track and that if there were and questions or concerns leading up to our day that I could reach out and she would get right back to me. One of the things we really wanted was to be outside for our ceremony, we knew getting married in November it would be a shot in the dark, but we made the request anyways. Alyssa found out how we could go about doing it and let me know as soon as she knew the answer! With the way the weather has been this year we were very fortunate to get to be outside! Our guests were pleasantly surprised that we had food throughout the entire night and were extremely happy that there were to-go boxes that they could leave with before getting onto the bus back to their hotel! Along with that, they have all raved about the food and the atmosphere days later. I can't say enough good things about our experience from start to finish! I am so happy that we chose to celebrate our day at The Grove!

We got married at Briar Barn in September, 2022 after booking the venue about 1.5 years prior. BB is the perfect venue for smaller weddings. The amount of contact we had with the BB team in the months leading up to the wedding was very helpful to answer numerous small questions and talk through logistics of the day. Our assigned planner, Alyssa was incredible both leading up to the wedding and day-of running the show, and made the day feel relatively effortless! BB is perfect for couples who want to be able to control as many or as few of the details as they want, since you can hire your own vendors, bring decorations, bring dessert, etc. but they also have 2 options for where to hold the ceremony, many food and drink options, decorations to rent, etc. BB is a beautiful venue any time during the year, the staff are extremely professional, and your guests will love it.

Briar Barn is the perfect wedding venue! We wanted a beautiful, fun and intimate day and they exceeded our expectations. It was the most perfect day and our day of planner, Emily, made the entire process go so smoothly. From the initial meetings, to emails, décor drop offs and wedding day schedule, Emily & all the staff truly made it the best day EVER. If you are looking for an all in one venue with outstanding food, wonderful staff, and stunning foliage for pictures- this is your venue. We got married on 10.14.22 and cannot wait to got back to spend a weekend at Briar Barn Inn. One of our favorite parts was that we were able to have a band although its considered a smaller venue. Another plus was that the ceremony, cocktail hour & reception are all within steps of each other which made it convenient, and perfect for our grandparents that are unable to walk far distances. We wish we could relive this day again that's just how perfect it was!

We had our wedding here in late August and I canât speak highly enough of the experience!! Every person we worked with was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. Our coordinator Alyssa helped manage everything for us on the days leading up to and the day of the event! The venue is stunning and the perfect environment for a rustic/intimate wedding. We had about 80 guests and it was perfect but the space does fit up to 100. Canât recommend the grove and briar barn inn enough! If youâre not convinced, have brunch or dinner at the Grove and that will seal the deal :) we received compliments all night about the food

From the moment I saw Grove online, I knew this was the perfect venue for our wedding. I actually got tears in my eyes the first time I saw it because it was exactly what I had been looking for in a venue. They were incredibly quick to get us in to tour the space and answered our endless questions clearly and promptly throughout the planning process. Grove is a beautiful space with a modern take on a rustic atmosphere. Their attention to detail is impeccable and one of the things I love about it is their curated furniture throughout the space, adding charm and character everywhere you look. Planning our wedding with Grove and their team was a dream. Every vendor I worked with from photography to our florist spoke so highly of the team, which consistently confirmed my trust in them throughout planning and relieved the stress that can come with wedding planning. Grove also provided easy to use planning software that helped me stay organized and has an events team to reach out to with questions along the way. As we got closer to our wedding day, our day of coordinator, Emily, was incredible in helping us finalize details, accommodate special requests, communicate with all our vendors, and take the stress off of us so we could focus on being excited to celebrate. Day of, we got ready at Briar Barn Inn and took photos outside the Inn and the Grove, which has a beautiful backdrop of greenery. We were able to drop off our decor a couple days ahead and Groveâs team set everything up beautifully. I wouldnât have changed a thing. Emily was absolutely incredible throughout the day, anticipating every need before we even knew weâd want something. I canât praise her enough for everything she did to help make our wedding absolutely perfect. Groveâs food was amazing and our family and friends even said it was the best food theyâve ever had at a wedding. We feel lucky that our venue is also a great restaurant and we can go back to celebrate anniversaries and remember what a special day we had there!

Our coordinator, Julia, made the weeks leading up to our wedding and the big day itself as seamless and enjoyable as possible. I would recommend this venue to any who are looking for an elevated but intimate experience. You cannot go wrong!

The Grove at the Briar Barn Inn was a simply wonderful venue to get married at. The location was gorgeous, the food amazing, but more than that, Julia and the rest of the staff were so calmly supportive throughout the day that we had nothing to worry about. Being able to get ready at the venue saved a lot of time and made the hours spent preparing with family and friends relaxing and enjoyable rather than hectic. When we had a group of guests let us know only a couple hours before the ceremony that they wouldn't be able to make it, Julia reorganized our seating without any fuss. Knowing that we were working with professionals who would make sure everything went smoothly lowered our stress and let us let go of all the anxiety that we'd built up during the planning so that we could freely enjoy our celebration. We couldn't have asked for better service, thank you so much!

We really enjoyed working with Jeannine to finalize the plans for our wedding. Jeannine was extremely helpful and patient. We ended up needing to reschedule once due to covid, and a second time due to winter weather. Without Jeannine and the rest of the Briar Barn team we would've spent a lot more time feeling stressed and overwhelmed. We got married at BBI on 07/09/2022. Everything was perfect! From the pre-wedding coordination to the food and service on the day of the wedding, all details were cared for and Alyssa was a pleasure to work with, even accommodating for last minute changes. The venue was perfect as we had a lot of out of the country guests. The food was outstanding, not sure how they managed to have that many filet mignons cooked so perfectly! We loved the place since the first time we saw it and love it even more after the event. We hope to come back for our anniversary!

From the pre-wedding coordination to the food and service on the day of the wedding, all details were cared for and Alyssa was a pleasure to work with, even accommodating for last minute changes. The venue was perfect as we had a lot of out of the country guests. The food was outstanding, not sure how they managed to have that many filet mignons cooked so perfectly! We loved the place since the first time we saw it and love it even more after the event. We hope to come back for our anniversary!

We got married here in May. While we loved the space and the food, we were somewhat disappointed with the logistics on the day of the wedding. It felt as though the staff at the venue over promised and under delivered. For example, we were told (even the day before) that we could pick up our wedding decor the morning after the wedding. In reality, our wedding coordinator made us take our decor the night of our wedding as we were saying goodbye to our guests. This was a bit chaotic and not what we had been promised. It should be noted that this was immediately following my 88 year old grandmother passing out (Not anyoneâs fault of course, but I feel as though the timing was insensitive). At meetings with our coordinator prior to the wedding, we were told that she would walk us through the ceremony and help us prepare on the morning of the wedding. This was not the case. We had to make a change to the schedule because we were behind schedule, but our coordinator never told us that we were at risk of running behind. In fact, she is the one who decided to delay the ceremony. Lastly, an oversight was made with seat assignments at the ceremony. I had expressed to our coordinator many times (and in writing) that my family is particularly small. Instead of seating my family members in the front row, she did not allow them to sit in the front. So, the very front row on the brideâs side was empty except for one seat. When asked prior to walking if everyone was properly seated, she assured me that they were. All in all, we had a wonderful day. However, these oversights and changes in agreed upon plans felt insensitive and insincere. Because of this, I would hesitate to recommend this venue to family and friends.

My husband and I got married at the Briar Barn Inn on 4/30/22. Right after we toured the space, we knew it was the perfect venue for our special day. It was a great size for our wedding of around 75 guests. One of the items that really sold it to us was being able to have all aspects of our wedding in one location - lodging, ceremony, and reception. We had quite a few out of town guests, and everyone loved having this. We weren't matched with a planner right away, which did have me a little worried, however, anytime I reached out, the team was responsive and helpful with any of my questions. We got matched with our planner, Julia, about 8 weeks before our wedding. Julia truly was amazing! She was very organized, helped me with whatever came up, and was always cheerful. She definitely made the experience easier throughout the months leading up to the wedding. The weekend of the wedding was couldnât have gone better. Myself and the girls got ready in our Grand King Suite which was a great space. There was gorgeous natural light which was ideal for hair, make-up, and photographs. It was also large enough for all of us, which was about 10 in total. My husband and the guys got ready in the bridal suite above the Grove as it was available at 2pm. The suite also overlooks the courtyard, which is where we had our first look. This was awesome to have as the bridesmaids and moms were able to watch and get a video of the first look which was a bonus to have. The ceremony was on-site and outside which was beautiful. We rented the golden arch for the ceremony that was then utilized for our sweetheart table inside for dinner. The food and beverage during the cocktail hour and the reception were delicious. Julia helped to keep everything on schedule during the reception so we had plenty of time to party after dinner and speeches. Overall, our wedding was glorious and I would recommend the Briar Barn Inn to anyone. Between the beautiful reception venue, outdoor ceremony location, courteous and responsive staff, and comfy inn, it really is the perfect spot to get married.

We got married at Briar Barn Inn on 6/4/22 and we're so happy we chose this venue. Our wedding was everything we wanted it to be. Words do not express how perfect our experience was with Grove. We had the absolute perfect wedding and owe all of that to Julia, our wedding coordinator. Immediately after our first meeting with Julia, we knew she would make our vision and details come alive. Through Julia, Grove was more than accomodating to add drinks that incorporated my partner's culture and was prepared with a pivot plan for the inclement weather. Luckily the space is absolutely beautiful for an indoor ceremony and guests loved the intimacy of the ceremony. Every guest raved about the food - especially the corn bisque and statler chicken breast - we saw so many empty plates! To top off everything the cookies were an absolute hit and the late-night churros were to die for! We especially appreciated being sent back with some cookies and churros! We added a brunch for the next morning in the bramble house and it was the icing on the cake - highly recommend adding the brunch. Having the inn right on site made the whole weekend more memorable as we were able to spend the weekend reconnecting with our family and friends. We honestly can say there was not a single flaw.

The venue is as gorgeous as the pictures demonstrate.The food is delicious and the chef is more than willing to work with any requests.The staff are very accommodating and responsive to last minute questions/requests.The only two constructive comment we can make are 1) That we requested to do a bouquet toss and provided the bouquet to our day-of coordinator, but it unfortunately was never scheduled/announced during the reception. 2) We provided a lot of the decor for the reception (including handmade artificial flowers) which unfortunately were damaged when packaged by the staff at the end of the night. If we were to do it all over again, we would certainly choose this location and spend more time with our day-of coordinator to help make the process even more seamless.

Reading these reviews has me thinking we would have had a better experience with a different coordinator. Was told she does the vast majority of her events at the other location. Felt very bottom of the barrel and in no way a priority. PROS-Beautiful Venue! Ceremony backdrop and the Inn provide a truly beautiful setting-Inn rooms are beautiful and cozy!-Homemade cookies for dessert are fantastic, as well as the majority of the food!CONS-She MADE my elderly florist come back the night of the wedding (ended at 11pm), to get all rentals and remove everything off the property due to another wedding the next day. This was preposterous and I felt awful for her.-Nuts were served to people marked explicitly nut free-Gluten was served to people marked as gluten free- The COMPLETE wrong chicken dish was served as an entre. I have custom menus that were printed at every seat that didn't match. It was embarrassing. They gave me a $200 credit for the confusion although they tried to make it a gift card.-Put favors out in entryway after everyone walked into reception, but very few people left that way so nobody took them.. waste of money-Waiting to walk down the aisle and have to remove my guest book myself as it was still boxed and would've been overlooked. Also had to move all the menus as they were not displayed how they were intended to as previously discussed in a meeting with coordinator-Didn't put forks out with the cake and refused to serve it to peoples seats...more wasted money-Didn't give specific gluten free desserts to GF guests, I myself had to run into the kitchen to get them as GF guests were leaving and saw all workers in there gabbing.-The included votive candles were not put out as requested-During our walk through before we chose the venue, we were told we could take away some outdoor dining tables to achieve a more cocktail vibe.. after committing, we were told this was not an option, which made it look like a casual outdoor restaurant with little walking room for an 80 person wedding.-Was also told at walk through we could bring a sentimental bottle of wine for just us Bride & Groom to enjoy, was later told this was not allowed.-Was told we were at nearly complete max at 80 people (some people had to move for others to get out of their chairs), yet they advertise as being able to fit 100. -No ability for head table, sweetheart only.-Received a lot of push back from the Inn on room block and requirements of guests. Teresa ending up helping and making everything right but it wasn't a smooth process. I believe this venue was created as a rehearsal space and lodging for their Willowdale Estate location.. and therefor wasn't built to host 100 person weddings in addition to being a free standing Inn. The restaurant is closed if guests come a night early or stay and extra night, as they have an event planned .All in all it wasn't an awful experience, but I truly feel it should have been more personalized and smoother for the money spent. I understand coordinators are not wedding planners, but ours dropped the ball many times. For what was the most expensive, most important day of our lives thus far, we were made to feel as we were just another wedding in their books. I had to have my hands on too many things day of that shouldn't have to burden the bride. Maybe a slight feeling of a false advertisement on behalf of the venue.

My husband and I got married at Briar Barn Inn on 3/19/22 and it was truly the best day of our lives!! From the beautiful inn where we spent the weekend to the warm and inviting ambiance of the venue and then the food and drinks that we were able to enjoy, the experience was incredible. The most stand out part of the weekend and weeks leading up to our day was our coordinator, Emily. I really canât put into words how grateful I am to Emily. She put me at ease the first meeting I had with her which is not easy as a bride-ha! Emily was easy to communicate with and always very responsive, especially to my 100 emails making last minute changes the day before. Unbeknownst to me, days before the wedding, she even kindly helped my dad with a video he prepared to play after his speech. When I approached my dad about the video he told me it wouldnât have been possible without Emilyâs help. The video was one of the best moments of the wedding as I was in tears and I am so thankful to have chosen a venue and given a coordinator who genuinely cares about these moments. Emily even remembered my husband doesnât drink and made sure to provide me with our signature cocktail and him with our signature mocktail right after the ceremony, along with a tray of our hors dâoeuvre so we could eat and have a moment by ourselves before cocktail hour and the reception. Everyone has continued to rave about the food-even the pickiest people said it was the best food theyâve ever had! Our guests were blown away by how beautiful the venue was and how amazing all the staff was. There were so many thoughtful and special touches from start to finish and I am so grateful to everyone that made our wedding the most incredible day of our lives. The small, intimate charm of a place being rustic, old fashioned and modern all wrapped out into one was my selling point. We booked our wedding, but did not expect what was to come next. In order to share how amazing this venue truly is I have to share our story leading up to the wedding. We were set to get married last January, but then COVID happened. Before the wedding, Briar Barn Inn and our wedding coordinators endlessly worked with us to make sure we were âCOVID friendlyâ and everyone was safe and guidelines were followed. However, 10 days before the wedding, a wrench was thrown in our wedding plans as the indoor capacity for weddings went from 25 to 10 people. There was no way we could only have 10 people. Briar was exceptional in understanding what we were going through, offered to postpone our wedding with our same wedding package to the next year since we wanted a winter wedding. They kept in contact with me to make sure all our rooms at the Inn were switched over, and all our wedding plans remained the same. It was absolutely astounding the communication and level of professionalism Briar had. You can tell they plan a lot of weddings, because they have everything down to a tee! This year, we finally made it! Our wedding day was wonderful, amazing, incredible, whatever you want to call it Briar made it that way! Julia, our day of coordinator knew exactly the vision I wanted and I didnât even need to explain it to her much. She made sure everything ran seamlessly. I work in veterinary medicine, and she didnât care that we were a quirky couple who made a lot of our wedding decor focused on our dogs. She made it look so beautiful. All our guest were also raving about how amazing the Grove was, and the food!! Every guest said it was to die for! Our bartender was also amazing and so great to our guests! It was a magical, snowy winter day and it was everything we could dreamed of. Thank you Briar Barn for being there for the last two years making all our wedding dreams come true. It was absolutely astounding the communication and level of professionalism Briar had. You can tell they plan a lot of weddings, because they have everything down to a tee! This year, we finally made it! Our wedding day was wonderful, amazing, incredible, whatever you want to call it Briar made it that way! Julia, our day of coordinator knew exactly the vision I wanted and I didnât even need to explain it to her much. She made sure everything ran seamlessly. I work in veterinary medicine, and she didnât care that we were a quirky couple who made a lot of our wedding decor focused on our dogs. She made it look so beautiful. All our guest were also raving about how amazing the Grove was, and the food!! Every guest said it was to die for! Our bartender was also amazing and so great to our guests! It was a magical, snowy winter day and it was everything we could dreamed of. Thank you Briar Barn for being there for the last two years making all our wedding dreams come true. Grove is AMAZING! My partner & I decided to throw our wedding together in just about a month due to some unforeseen circumstances in our family, and we got incredibly lucky that Grove had a cancellation due to COVID on a Saturday night during the timeframe when we wanted to have it. We loved the pictures we saw online, but we loved the venue even more when we visited it in person. It was truly meant to be. Jenna in sales was very helpful and thorough answering all of our questions quickly and she understood time was of the essence. Once we booked, we worked with Jeannine as our coordinator who was absolutely wonderful! The amount of details that had to be sorted out quickly was overwhelming but Jeannine was on top of all of it. She guided us from her own experience so we knew what worked well and what didn't, and it helped us tremendously in our planning process. At one point we were having a hard time locking down a photographer & DJ due to our quick timeframe, and Jeannine promptly contacted all of Grove's preferred vendors to see if anyone could help. Within a day, we had a wonderful photographer and amazing DJ. Jeannine went the extra mile to accommodate all of our requests, she was present for our entire event from start to finish, and she went out of her way to make sure things were set up properly and perfectly for us. Walking in to the venue prior to the reception and seeing it all set up absolutely took our breath away. It was more beautiful than we ever imagined it would be and we can't thank Jeannine and all the staff at Grove enough for their hard work. The servers and bartender were wonderful, the food was DELICIOUS (we are still getting comments months later on one of the dishes we chose), and the venue is so beautiful you just can't go wrong. We highly recommend Grove for your event and we will be forever grateful for all they did to make our day absolutely perfect!

We booked at the BBI back in 2019 prior to the pandemic right after they opened. We immediately fell in love with the rustic farmhouse feel that they had despite the venue being brand new. My husband and I also liked the fact that there was a getting ready room for both the ladies and for the guys, which was something that was missing at most of the other venues that we looked at. When we originally booked the venue, they stated that they hosted only one wedding, now keep in mind this was before the pandemic and many businesses had to switch gears following 2020. However, we weren't notified until our menu tasting in March 2021 that they were now hosting 3 weddings each weekend. It was a surprise to us and our guests were scrambling to find accommodations to book in advance. With that being said, Emily M. was such a pleasure to work with. Despite having a wedding of her own in a few weeks, she helped finalize our wedding and made the whole day as smooth as it could possibly go. Even though we lost our photographer at the last minute due to health reasons, she made sure that our new photographer was settled and helped guide her throughout the day. I don't know what we would have done without Emily! All of our friends and families enjoyed the ambiance and the food. We can't wait to come back to BBI again! We will definitely recommend this place to our friends and families.

I knew Stephen was a good photographer when hiring him but GOSH he exceeded all expectations. Four day after the wedding, he sent me about 60 pictures (quickest turnaround of all time, am I right??) and the pictures are SO good. The lighting and quality of each picture blows my mind. My now-husband and I booked this venue before it was even built. All we had were their vision photos of what the property would look and be like â and they delivered!!! The space is modern yet rustic, clean, and absolutely stunning in person. Our wedding was scheduled on June 13, 2020. Obviously, as you can imagine, this didnât happen. Neither did our postponed date of September 13, 2020. Everyone who helped us through the postponement process was SO helpful and understanding, and helped to put us at ease during an incredibly difficult time. Special shout out to Monique and Teresa for ALL their hard work, professionalism, and kind words during our ongoing rescheduling process.Finally, on June 13, 2021 we had our wedding! Our 80 guests were so impressed by the venue, the delicious food, and the amazing staff. Jeannine was my wedding coordinator on the big day and she did an amazing job helping me stay calm and collected, and well fed! Everything was so organized and scheduled impeccably. We had everything we needed the whole time and she really brought our vision to life. The two year wait was SO worth it. Briar Barn Inn went above and beyond to make our day special and memorable. We LOVED our wedding at Briar Barn Inn this past July. The staff was extremely accommodating, helpful, and worked with us to reschedule our wedding due to COVID. From the very beginning of planning we knew our wedding would be exactly what we imagined, and it was! Specifically, our wedding coordinator Jeannine was amazing and made sure every detail was covered. Unfortunately, our wedding ended up being on the coldest/rainiest day (on record) in July, so last minute we had to switch to an indoor ceremony, but it ended up being so cozy and romantic and we wouldn't change a single thing about the whole day! We were also able to have 90% of our guests stay at the Inn with us, which was so much fun. We would highly recommend having your wedding at Briar Barn Inn if you want an amazing experience from start to finish!

Unfortunately, our wedding ended up being on the coldest/rainiest day (on record) in July, so last minute we had to switch to an indoor ceremony, but it ended up being so cozy and romantic and we wouldn't change a single thing about the whole day! We were also able to have 90% of our guests stay at the Inn with us, which was so much fun. We would highly recommend having your wedding at Briar Barn Inn if you want an amazing experience from start to finish!

Wedding Date 25-07-2021
We had a wonderful day on our date, July 25! Julia was our coordinator and she was amazing. Guests are still talking about the food. The planning was so easy, especially when you get closer. Everything was beautiful! It was so nice to be able to rely on Julia for everything before and during the wedding. It was truly spectacular! Something to note about the inn (separate from the venue) is that they don't allow outside alcohol. This is something I forgot about when we made welcome baskets for our guests staying at the inn. They confiscated all of the alcohol from the baskets. They gave it back before we left, though! If you are someone who likes to continue the party after, maybe look elsewhere than the inn. It worked out just fine for us, though, and we did have pizza in our room after and were able to hang out by the fire pit which was really nice! I do wish they offered breakfast for guests at the Inn, even just pastries or something, considering it is pretty expensive and we felt bad about not offering that for our guests. We worked with Stephanie's Village Pancake House .4 miles from the Inn and paid for our guest breakfast there! Overall a wonderful experience and we are so happy with Briar Barn Inn!

The Briar Barn Inn is a dream wedding venue! My husband and I got married here in June 2021. We loved the modern farmhouse charm that the Inn had to offer. The Inn has every detail covered. From the dĂ©cor and lighting to the food and drinks, we havenât stopped getting compliments from our guests. The entire planning process was seamless due to Julia DâAgostino and her team. Julia was so wonderful to work with and very responsive to all our questions. The online portal was also an excellent tool as we were able to view and update as needed.We also loved that the Inn is a very short walk from Grove. Our guests that stayed over loved that they were able to walk right over to the Inn after dancing the night away! Thank you to the entire team at the Briar Barn Inn. You made our wedding dreams come true!

We got married at Briar Barn Inn in May 2021 and we are so thankful we picked this venue. It was the first venue we toured after we got engaged in October 2019, and it was our immediate favorite. They stole our hearts when we received a box of cookies and a handwritten note thanking us for our time during the visit. Our original wedding date was in March, but we postponed it because of the interstate travel restrictions in place at the time. Thanks to the help of Monique and Melissa, the date change process was kind, fair, and professional. Teresa, the GM at the Inn was an angel and helped move our room block over to our new date and handled all guest questions with grace and patience. Rachel and Jeannine were so helpful during the planning process and the online portal was super helpful to stay organized. Upon arrival at the hotel the night before our wedding, our friends and family all raved about how beautiful & clean their rooms were.On our wedding day, the unexpected happened and my father had a medical emergency at the Inn. Teresa was there immediately and helped guide the emergency services to his room. She also notified our planner, Jeannine, and Monique, VP of Operations, who jumped in immediately to assist us in notifying our vendors. The level of compassion and care displayed by the members of the Bramble Hospitality team that day was inspiring. Thanks to their quick action, we changed the schedule of the day to have cocktail hour first and the ceremony second, which allowed us the time to hold a ceremony off-site at the hospital with my father. While it was far from the day we planned, it was made even more special by the entire team and our vendors. My dad is now recovering at home and still talks about how amazing the day was, even in the midst of crisis. Our families are forever grateful to the team and look forward to celebrating our future anniversaries at Grove and Briar Barn Inn.
