These private rooms provide couples with a comfortable space where wedding parties can rest and relax before walking down the aisle. Your loved ones will gather in the chapel for a romantic ceremony. With its exposed beams, stained glass windows, and sophisticated decor, the chapel effortlessly blends rustic charm with refined elegance. A reception can be held under the covered pavilion, providing you shelter from the elements while still allowing you to take in the beauty of your surroundings. Every piece of furniture and decor has been hand-selected by the team to perfectly complement the natural beauty of the venue. Absolutely LOVED hosting our wedding at Gruene Estate. All the guests thought it was gorgeous and the management team were extremely helpful and friendly. It is so naturally beautiful that hardly any extra decor was needed! They allowed us to borrow a TON of decor and the bridal and groom houses were adorable.

Absolutely LOVED hosting our wedding at Gruene Estate. All the guests thought it was gorgeous and the management team were extremely helpful and friendly. We couldn’t have a picked a better venue for our dream wedding than the Gruene Estate. After seeing the grounds we instantly knew it was meant for us. Melinde is the sweetest, most accommodating venue coordinator. She answered all our questions and then some. She gave us an awesome tour of the grounds and worked with us on our special requests. The open air chapel is gorgeous in its own and we loved being able to ring the bell. The beautiful horses, deer, and longhorns were also a huge selling point for me. Made me feel like Cinderella! Melinde also helped us find some of our vendors by recommending people in the area. Highly recommend the Gruene Estate!! Thank you so much for making our dream wedding come true!! 🫶🏼

Melinde and the rest of Gruene Estate staff were very helpful from the first meeting all the way until our wedding night! Melindy was the absolute best to work with. She is so likes or and friendly you will wish she could hold your hand through the entire process. But, she actually does!! She had the best recommendations and tip on vendors. This was especially helpful since we were from out of town. The loaner room is full of gorgeous decor and the tables and chairs are a dream right off of our Pinterest boards. The staff and the day of coordinator at Hazel & Bloom (Casey) was top notch and made everything go better than perfect. We had zero issues, no fires to put out, not a single complaint. The venue itself is stunning! The chapel, the pavilion, the facilities, the perfectly lit bridal and grooms suite. We never dreamed we could find such perfection at such an amazing price and in a quant historic town!! This is a gem!!

You don't get much better for a venue/reception space than Gruene Estate. It's stunning and a true show stopper, especially if you have guests from out of town (the longhorns stole the show). They think of everything you might need and it's great to not have to buy votives and other decorations for one night. It can be a little hectic if your wedding is on a weekend where Thursday-Sunday is booked but don't let that turn you away. Melinde is great and special shout out to Tori - our day could NOT have functioned without her.

The most perfect venue!!! Melinde was great to work with, she gave us her personal cell number and allowed us to reach out to her at any time. The other staff was also great at catering to us on our wedding day. There were a lot of cute decorations free to use with the venue. The venue itself is so beautiful with amazing open sky, animals, perfect chapel, etc etc. It made for such a comfortable energy to our wedding and also provided so many great spots for photo ops. The houses were also great for getting ready and spending the night. I could go on and on! I'm so happy we had our wedding here, it couldn't have been more perfect.

Honestly, I wish I could give 10 Stars to Gruene Estate!!! Most of all, Melinde, who makes this entire experience so worth it. Melinde is truly one of a kind and someone you just don’t forget when the day is over. You want to keep in touch and she truly feels like family. She responded timely throughout the entire time and answered my 100+ questions...even repeats. She gave awesome suggestions and she kept me in the loop of everything. We rented the venue for a three day package deal and it was worth it. We weren’t rushed and we got to enjoy the property. The day of she was 100% involved and putting in work. I cannot thank her enough for all her support for me and my family. So much love for the venue and Melinde!!

First off, Gruene Estate is absolutely beautiful, and the history that comes along with it is even cooler! The open air chapel captivated everyone and made for the most beautiful ceremony. Not to mention, Melinde is the absolute best!! She was there every step of the way during the planning process. Thursday right before our Saturday wedding, there was a huge freeze. Melinde reached out and eased everyone's minds and ensured that everything was handled on their end. If you're a winter bride, the heaters in the pavilion were perfect and kept our guests warm during upper-20s temps. All-in-all, we absolutely loved our wedding at Gruene Estate! I wish we could do it all over again, it was so perfect.

We found Gruene Estate when looking for an outdoor venue near where I grew up, and after watching the video and looking through all of the pictures, we kept talking about it. We finally decided to take a trip to look at the venue in person and fell in love. The property is spacious but felt intimate for our 60 person wedding. The staff is professional and incredibly helpful and communicative. We loved the coordinators they connected us with and felt like our wedding was pretty perfect here. Melinde helped connect us with local vendors and she even helped us design our reception layout and helped with set up. We loved having our special day at such a special location!

Oh my gosh...this place is magical!!! Our wedding was absolutely perfect. This venue is by far the most beautiful place I've ever seen. The wildlife, the accommodations, the view, everything was beyond amazing. Everyone was so helpful, and the wedding of our dreams was executed perfectly. I could not have dreamed of my wedding being at such a wonderful place. We stayed the night at the venue after the wedding, and not only were the houses beautiful, they were so comfortable and such a perfect set up. The event staff ensured the fire pit was lit, the chandelier was beautiful, the wildlife was out during the ceremony... I could just go on and on. I am so thankful that I found this place---to be honest--I wish I could just move there because it is that freaking stunning. I'm already thinking about vow renewals because I love this place so much and want to have another event there again. Melinde is great, the owner came to meet us and he was wonderful, and I just cannot speak more highly of this place!!!

Such a beautiful place for our wedding and reception. I could not have asked for a better place. It is a well oiled machine and I was so grateful for Melinde. She was so helpful and knowledgeable. I did not know the best way to set everything up, but she knew everything. The chapel is gorgeous, and they have golf carts to take the bride from the house to the chapel. A really amazing place.

Amazing venue! The day we got engaged we started looking and venues! This was the first one we looked out and nothing could compare! It was an absolutely dream! No need for decorations because the views and the surrounding do the job for you! The houses are site are stunning and so convenient for getting ready! The staff was so nice and accommodating throughout the whole process! I wish I could relieve the day there over and over again! A true dream come true!

The most BEAUTIFUL venue. I don’t have a single complaint. Everything was perfect!! The people working for the venue made it to where I didn’t lift a finger!! If I needed a drink I had one in less than 5 minutes and if one of my babies were crying they would push them in the stroller. It was the most perfect day at the most perfect place!!!

Our wedding was counted as a destination wedding since we live in OKC. Which is stressful enough as is when looking for vendors and the venue. We took a trip to the SA area too look at several venues and Gruene Estate stole our hearts right away! It was very US. Rustic and charming in so many ways. So beautiful words can’t describe. Their staff helped us every step of the way throughout our planning process as far as suggesting good caterers, decorating vendors you name it. Any questions I had while planning, their staff and my day of coordinator were able to quickly answer or find the answer for me in a timely manner. The day of the wedding went by without a hitch thanks to their wonderful crew and am forever grateful. I wish I had more words to describe our gratitude! Big shout out to Melinde and Dempsey & her crew! Thank you so much!

During my first tour around the property with Melinde I know it was everything I was looking for. Melinde was so incredible from start to finish. She helped answer all of my questions along the way and she facilitated the booking process so flawlessly and with such care and support (not to mention during a pandemic!) After booking and being confident in my decision I was then supported by Carrie who was just as incredible. She continued my planning process and was available to answer all of my questions and provide support along the way to make me feel confident in the success of my wedding day. P.S - hiring Bash Events to facilitate the set up & break down is worth every penny! On my wedding day it was so incredible to step on property and know what to expect down to every last detail. The houses were ready on time, my vendors all arrived, and all details were done to my expectations. The property and houses were cleaned and looked fantastic on the wedding day. My day of coordinator, Courtney executed my event flawlessly and kept things moving on time and kept me informed as to what was next to come. She never made me feel rushed or overwhelmed. I am forever grateful for the beautiful experience and wedding that I was able to have at Gruene Estate from start to finish! I am overjoyed at the memories that this venue & their staff will hold in my heart. They helped me create and execute the wedding of my dreams! On the day of, they were very hands on and helpful. The venue itself comes with beautiful decorations, signs, candle holders and other items free to use if you want. We got ready in the bridal house and it was spotless clean and made for the most beautiful getting ready pictures. My wedding is scheduled for May 23rd 2020 and this venue has not allowed me to reschedule. They have told us they are abiding by local guidelines which contradicts what the governor of Texas has put out as well as the health department. They went as far as to tell us that if groups of ten are allowed that we will be forced to pay the full price with only ten people attending... My fiancé and I are both in the military and are unsure where we will be stationed in the upcoming year. My fiancé’s family is all from NJ and NY and the venue expects them to travel to the small town of Gruene in the middle of a pandemic and national state of emergency. The venues lack of understanding and care for us and our families is astonishing. Planning your wedding is supposed to be fun and exciting and has turned in to a nightmare due to our venue. I haven’t been able to give any of my other vendors a reschedule date and will likely lose a lot of deposits if upcoming dates are booked. I am heartbroken over Gruene Estates lack of understanding. I hope nobody else is having to deal with a situation like this.

I truly had ZERO stress as the Bride! We were able to purchase an affordable package including set up and breakdown which was amazing! Carey was our wedding coordinator and absolutely rocked it non-stop. She communicated with all of our vendors before the big day and day of, so we didn't have so deal with any of that! She also was there for me the entire process to answer all my questions. She also asked me all the right questions to make sure every detail was accounted for and all the necessary information for the venue to be set up exactly as I wanted. She has this down to a science in the best and most helpful way possible! I really can't say enough good things about this venue and the team behind it.

They were accommodating when we needed to do a visit on a Sunday morning. The price of the venue includes tables, chairs, a ton of decor, and the services of a day of coordinator, Carey Millington. Because of the GE team and Carey, our wedding vision became a reality. LITERALLY- not one single thing went wrong on our wedding day.Another great thing about GE is that you can bring your own vendors. They do provide a list of vendors they've worked with before, but you're not obligated to use them. However, we did end up going with a few of their suggestions because they were great!Oh, and if you're wondering if you should stay at the historic houses onsite the night before or after you wedding, the answer is yes! They are super cute, clean, and the beds are really cozy. We were so happy to just walk through the fence and be \"home\" for the night rather than finding our way back to a hotel room.

We fell in love with the open chapel and stain glass windows in pictures and the in person viewing did not disappoint. The natural, rustic decor of the venue made for easy but beautiful decorating. Getting married at Gruene Estates was just one of our best decisions for our big day. We fell in love with the open chapel and stain glass windows in pictures and the in person viewing did not disappoint. The natural, rustic decor of the venue made for easy but beautiful decorating. We received many compliments on how elegant and gorgeous the venue was. The staff was friendly, helpful and nice to work with. Carey, our day of coordinator, was very informed and helped a great deal throughout the day and early in the planning process. Gruene Estate was the absolute best decision we made when it came to where to get married. Everything was on point for how we envisioned our wedding. The bride and groom houses are by far the best thing for getting ready. So comfortable and perfectly placed because I never saw my husband while I was getting ready. The venues natural rustic charm made decorating a breeze and to this day we have had only praises regarding Gruene Estate. I first learned of them from a friend who is having her wedding there too. I am excited to get to enjoy this venue again.

My husband and I got married this past Memorial day. We could not have asked for a better wedding venue or team to work with. I was born & raised in upstate New York, my husband and I got engaged in July of 2016 then moved to New Braunfels in October of 2016. From the breathtaking open air chapel (there's even a church bell to ring after the ceremony!!), the rustic chic bridal suite (perfect for getting ready photos), horses, deer & longhorn (which the children absolutely adored), fire pit & games (great to keep guest busy while taking wedding photos), the list could go on... I am so happy that we chose this as our wedding venue, our guest near or far all fell in love this this place.　Nolan, the General Manager and the Gruene Estate team were on top of everything leading up to our special day making sure everything ran smoothly. Also, Carey with BASH events and Courtney who was assigned to be my day of wedding coordinator took care of EVERYTHING, I seriously did not have to stress about anything because it was already taken care of.　A big thanks to Gruene Estate for making our wedding such a special and memorable day!

God truly answered my prayers when I came upon Gruene Estate!! The venue was beyond beautiful and was everything both myself and my honey wanted. All of the staff was so helpful, accommodating, and truly cared about what we wanted as a couple and how we wanted our special day to be. I couldn't be more grateful for all of Nolan's assistance and willingness to work with me and my schedule. The in house wedding planner that Gruene Estate provided upon my booking was also a dream come true, Carey my coordinator was so sweet and helped me more than I could have imagined; especially on my wedding day with all of her staff that were also provided.

We got married at the Gruene Estate this past March and it was amazing. The venue needs very little decorating because it is stunning. Our families are still talking about how amazing the location was. The younger crowd loved that we did a s’mores bar at the fire pit. Gruene Estates was the perfect setting for my wedding. It has a rustic charm and elegance about it that were everything I wanted! On the big day and each visit I was given the upmost attention and respect. The grounds were always in tiptop shape and continually improving. The only areas I think they could improve is by starting the Day-of-Coordinator and table/decor planning earlier. It was a month out, however I would have liked to have it planned a little earlier. However, with that said, the Day-of-Coordinator was extremely responsive and never let me feel forgotten! On my big day, due to rain, the venue had to be buttoned up a bit but it was still beautiful and I didn't even notice! Also, the Day-of-Coordinator, made me feel very taken care of on my wedding day and was flexible and accommodating to any changes in the timeline. Any issues she came to me with, she also brought a solution and I will be forever grateful! Thank you, Gruene Estates!

There’s no way my dream wedding wouldn’t include Gruene Estate. I live in Ohio but dreamed of having my Texas wedding for this Texas lady! I knew that planning a wedding away from the venue wouldn’t be easy, but I was so wrong! Gruene Estate made every step so easy from a tour before booking to the big day! Katherine, Carey, Stephanie and Nolan were so easy to communicate with and kept me up to date with everything I needed. I fell in love with the natural beauty that GE offers! The open chapel is gorgeous and offered beautiful pictures that my guest loved! It’s been 3 weeks and I still get comments about the chapel especially the stained glass and ringing the bell! There was even entertainment for the kids at the wedding. They loved seeing real longhorns and horses, plus the games! Our reception was so special to us, our friends were just wowed with how relaxing the environment was! My husband was so excited about cigars and whiskey around the fire pit. While I loved the easy of meeting all our guest because of the layout! We had so much space but still felt close enough to talk to everyone. I had about 85 total guests who weren’t trapped inside a single space but could meander to the fire pit, by the game space, to the dance floor or even back to the chapel for their own photo op! Between the rustic decor, natural woods, and outdoor touches this venue was so easy to fall in love with. I opted for simple touches and did the decor myself! The hardest part was sticking to the theme, you can easily have a juxtaposition of natural outdoors and full elegance, or rustic beauty; really anything you can dream for an outdoor event!

This venue was perfect and amazing for our September wedding! Picturesque everywhere- even on a gloomy day! The staff did an amazing job, had contingency plans for any emergency and were so helpful and willing to lend a hand with any step throughout the wedding planning process. Gruene Estate is so helpful with finding other vendors, we used their list of preferred vendors and that’s how we found everyone! This day was beyond magical and it wouldn’t have been perfect without the amazing individuals and the amazing venue.

Don’t get me wrong, the venue is absolutely breath taking...that’s why we booked. If you are looking for a beautiful venue but with just alright communication, this is venue may be for you.I have nothing bad to say about the property, decor, etc. My three star review regards customer service and lack of communication and the coordinator, Carey Mills.From the beginning when we booked, we were under the impression we would be receiving a “day of coordinator”. That wasn’t the case. We received Carey, who was Director of Events/owner and event coordinator at Bash Events. Getting in touch with her was always a hassle and she was never available to talk, only one or two hours a week she set aside. Well, not sure about other brides but I work a full time management retail job and sometimes it’s hard to have time to talk in the middle of the work day. She was not very accommodating, and over the summer when we tried to have phone conversations, and a site visit at the venue she said it was her time off (for three months?) and she was unavailable. I never met her and then come to find out....the month of my wedding she wasn’t even going to be working my wedding. It was a relief because she hasn’t been helpful but also made me a bit more stressed because wait I have to explain everything again to a new person?!! Nope, Carey ensured me she would communicate everything needed to the day of coordinator. Well that didn’t happen because the day of she didn’t know timing of my violinist or where the boys would enter the chapel, our rain plan that we discussed. I had one of my bridesmaids call me and then communicate to her what I wanted. It caused more stress day of, then I needed.And I’m not sure what “day of coordinator” means to everyone else but I was under the impression it was someone to make sure things like signs were in proper placement, tables had numbers, etc. no they just will be in charge of the timeline. It costs extra if you want them to help you with set up. So be sure to ask. We would have paid the extra money had we known up front. Well, thankfully Stephanie the day of coordinator who actually worked my wedding was AMAZING and she was up for the challenge. But poor girl, Carey should have given her all information needed to be successful and that is not what happened. Stephanie you rock, and you made me at ease the day of, you even gave my husband and I a little pep talk and it was a pleasure having you there, thank you for all your help I know you really stepped up to the plate.All in all, my wedding was beautiful and I wouldn’t take any of it back, I am only writing this because I believe Gruene Estate should really consider who they have as main contact and email responder at their venue.

From the day I visited they were willing and able to help with every aspect of my wedding!By the day my wedding came around, I was so comfortable and able to relax because I knew that day-of-coordinator would take care of anything that needed to be settled. My husband and I were married at Gruene Estate in June and it was absolutely perfect! We wanted a very laid back, stress free, fun wedding and that is exactly what we got. We live a couple hours away and knew it would be somewhat of a destination for many of our friends and family. We had a shorter 6 month engagement but the Gruene Estate team was very helpful in our planning and suggesting the perfect local vendors for our big day! They setup conference calls with us, made sure we knew exactly what decorations were available, help us develop our wedding details and timeline, and gave us many ideas/ tips through the process. They day of the wedding was very stress free, decorating went smoothly, and our onsite coordinator was on top of everything! The décor, farm tables, animals, yard games, stunning chapel, church bells, & chandeliers all helped perfectly capture the Texas summer ambience we envisioned. We got to sit back and enjoy the beautiful house and venue with all our loved ones. We chose to get married on a Friday night and our guests absolutely loved the Gruene Estate atmosphere and they still got to experience a full New Braunfels/ Gruene weekend. We got so many compliments! And we cannot wait to plan anniversary weekends in Gruene, reminisce about our big day, and visit the place that will always be so special to us, Gruene Estates!

My husband and I were married at Gruene Estate in June and it was absolutely perfect! We wanted a very laid back, stress free, fun wedding and that is exactly what we got. I could not have imagined a better venue to host our big day! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They were extremely detailed oriented and thought I’d everything. The venue it’s self was beautiful and even offered various decor pieces to utilize06/09. Our guests raved about the rustic Hill country experience they received, with the Longhorns/deer, open fields and the picturesque Texas sunset. The open air chapel was just want we were looking for. We felt very close with God during our ceremony and that was a priority for us. I look back on our big day with such happiness! I knew we made the right choice going with Gruene Estate.

Throughout our reception, we got compliment after compliment on how gorgeous both the chapel and reception hall are! Having the longhorns out to pasture during the reception was a great photo-op for our UT alumni guests, and the wide-open nature of the reception area made for plenty of drinking, dancing, and picture taking throughout the night. The major selling point for this venue has to be the amazing staff. We had two wedding coordinators, plus a host of day-of staff, who were working with us from Day 1 to get all of our details organized. During our wedding day, our coordinator made sure that we always had a water and cold beer in our hands during picture-taking, and she was always one step ahead of any issue that I could’ve anticipated. Gruene Estate is a gorgeous venue that will seriously impress your guests - I can’t imagine getting married anywhere else!!

I had my wedding at Gruene Estates in May 2018 and absolutely loved it. 2 things really sold me about this venue: 1. The beautiful intimate chapel with gorgeous stained glass and plants and flowers growing all around it. Up a short path is a covered pavilion with farmhouse tables. It was so naturally beautiful that no tablecloths and very little decorations were needed which saved us in our budget. 2. There are 2 paint horses, several deer and longhorns, in a pasture next to the chapel and pavilion. We were married as dusk and this all made for stunning pictures. This location was absolutely unmatched by any other venues I reviewed. On top of the beautiful property, the coordinators with the venue, Carey and Stephanie, were fantastic. They are so easy to work with and it’s clear they really care about brides and grooms! Stephanie was our day-of coordinator and was incredibly attentive and on top of every detail.We had so much fun! This was our perfect Texas wedding!

We could not have asked for a better wedding experience with Gruene Estate! Our day was absolutely perfect and I wouldn't change a thing. It was so helpful to have a day of wedding coordinator to work with before the wedding and the day of, and to have decorations on hand at the venue. Where to begin? Our wedding at the Gruene Estate was everything we wished for and more. We ended up renting the chapel, reception hall, and houses out for a Saturday evening wedding in March. The day went smoothly and all of the staff was there every step of the way to make sure we were taken care of. Savannah was our day-of coordinator was so helpful and I am so glad that a coordinator was included in the cost of the venue. We received so many compliments on the venue. We were lucky and had the venue for the whole weekend evening. It was also nice to have a place for family to stay on site. The newly remodeled house was SO GORGEOUS. Thanks again so much to Gruene Estate for making our day wonderful.

Gruene Estate is family run and the staff is there to celebrate your marriage and make sure you and your guests have the best time! We toured so many venues where they wanted to nickle and dime you for every detail but Gruene Estate makes it about the bride and groom and not the bottom line. The open air chapel is gorgeous and made a beautiful back drop for our ceremony. Also on property is the reception pavilion with a screened in porch for buffets. The great thing about Gruene Estate is that the facility is so naturally pretty that you don't need much decoration. They have a storage shed of decorations that you can borrow if you'd like and the staff cleans it up at the end of the night so you don't have to! The old farm tables are gorgeous so you save on linen. You will find plenty of space, electrical outlets and light for your event. The property has 2 long horns that are gorgeous and very Texas; the guests loved them! The property also boasts a bride and groom cottage for getting ready which are comfortable and perfect picture back drops. Part of your rental fee goes towards working with a Day of Coordinator through Bash Events and the extra assist on the day of was appreciated! I can't rave enough about this beautiful venue!

The venue itself is beautiful, and Nolan, Katherine, and Carey are great to work with. The longhorns and the longhorn truck were an added bonus for this UT family! Carey helped us plan out every detail and was very responsive to all my questions. It rained on the day of the wedding, but we were able to still enjoy the full wedding and only missed a few small details. Carey and the team took care of moving everything and making sure the rain wasn't something the wedding party had to stress about. Guests are still raving about what a great party it was and how beautiful the pavilion looked. We loved this venue and this team and would recommend to anyone!

Choosing Gruene Estate for our wedding was a major reason that we look back on that day with such wonderful memories of how happy our guests were, how happy WE were, and some seriously gorgeous photos. This venue is the perfect Texas backdrop if you're looking for a laid back, rustic wedding that still provides a terrific canvas to dress it up or dress it down depending on the kind of wedding you're planning. The flexibility when it comes to choosing vendors was one of the major reasons I was drawn to holding the wedding here, as I began my planning while living out of state and hadn't moved to Texas yet. I needed some wiggle room for a lot of items, as certain things - like catering, DJ, and photographer - took a little longer as I couldn't meet with vendors as fast as someone that was in town. I appreciated the support of the staff at the venue, and I LOVE that they provide a day of coordinator. That took so much stress away and let me really enjoy the wedding with my new husband and friends/family that came to Texas to be a part of our wedding! The venue is stunning, the longhorns are THE BEST, and I wouldn't change one thing about our day. It's no surprise at all that this place is becoming so popular. Our guest were almost all from out of town and out of state, and what we wanted the most was to showcase everything we love about our new town. Mission accomplished.

Gruene Estate is truly a magic spot for a wedding. From the stained glass windows of the chapel to the horses in the pasture and even to the cozy cottages where you get ready, everything is perfect. The beauty of the space is only emphasized by how wonderful the people working there are. Not only did they hold our hands throughout this whole process, but they also made us feel comfortable and free enough to be ourselves on our day. We had so much to worry about, but they made sure that behind the scenes was seamless enough for us to actually take a moment and truly enjoy the day and each other. Gruene Estate was amazing! Our wedding here in September was a dream come true. The staff was very responsive and helpful with all of my questions and needs. The day of coordinator was above and beyond. All of my guests had the best time and thought the venue was so beautiful and in the best location!

We were over the moon with our experience at Gruene Estate for our wedding. Everything from the fairy tail chapel to the open-air reception pavilion to the perfectly timed arrival of longhorns on site added up to make the perfect wedding day for my groom and me. One of the most valuable assets Gruene Estate offers its brides is a day-of coordinator who assists with all the fine details, ensuring that not only I was able to relax on my wedding day, but my family and friends were able to as well. My mother-in-law says it was the best weekend of her life and I couldn't agree more. We would 100% select this venue again.

Let me tell you about this venue, y’all. It has so much to offer- historic getting ready cabins, a beautiful chapel, rustic pavilion complete with string lights, chandeliers in the trees (what?!), outdoor games, a fire pit, and longhorns. On top of that you have access to all of their decorations and are given a wedding coordinator and a day-of coordinator. Love this place!!

My husband and I got married at The Gruene Estate on November 18, 2017 and it was everything we ever could have ever dreamed of... and some! The entire venue is absolutely stunning and such a beautiful atmosphere. From the peaceful open chapel to the chandeliers hanging in the old oak trees, the Gruene Estate is flawless. All of our guests were extremely impressed and reiterated how wonderful and beautiful the entire venue was.The staff was amazing and accommodating and made the day run smoothly from start to finish. We would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking for a great place to spend your special day!

WE LOVED GRUENE ESTATE FOR OUR WEDDING VENUE!! Everything was absolutely perfect! First of all, the venue is so picturesque and unique. The staff keeps the grounds spotless and clean. The venue is laid out perfectly with the chapel right next to the reception area. Also, our provided day-of coordinator, Carey, was very attentive and helpful throughout the planning process, not just on the day of the wedding. All of our guests had an amazing time and many said it was the prettiest wedding they'd attended!

Carey was great at helping me plan, recommending vendors and sorting out the small details. Gruene Estate is a wonderful, beautiful, and breathtaking venue with the most helpful staff. There is many packages and amenities to choose from. We were able to stay the whole weekend, on-site, with our bridal party and groomsmen. The ease and grace from the staff on the day of the wedding was nothing short of amazing. There are many vendors to choose from, a cute photo booth that can be added, and a serving area. But the most amazing part of the whole venue is the chapel. Goodness. If you have not seen this chapel in person, you have to go! If you want a gorgeous outdoor wedding, Gruene Estate is the place to be. Every staff person we worked with was more than accommodating. We will be dreaming of our wedding day for years to come. All thanks to the staff and gorgeous venue.

The Gruene Estates is an unbelievably gorgeous venue. I was living in Oklahoma during our wedding planning process and my now husband lived in the San Antonio area. When we decided to get married in the hill country, the venue quickly became one of the most important vendors to me. I always thought that you can't cover up an ugly venue and we didn't want anything super-Texas (sorry, just not from here!). What I immediately loved about the Gruene Estates is how unique and beautiful it is. You don't really need a lot of decorations, so for an out-of-town bride, it was a dream! Plus, they have a huge shed full of decorations that you can use and they'll even clean them up at the end of the night. We worked with Carey as our day of coordinator and she was incredibly helpful and flexible. Instead of me driving down to meet up in person, she was always willing to have our meetings over the phone. I think Gruene Estates is worth every penny and you'll have wedding photos you'll cherish forever (still can't get over their chapel!).

Gruene Estate is beyond beautiful!!! The property is gorgeous, they have horses and longhorns roaming around, and it's the perfect compromise between an indoor and an outdoor wedding. Our wedding was in mid April so the weather was perfect. Not too hot, and not too cold. They have 2 houses you can rent on the property, and it was great to be able to have the 2 families spend the night together the night before the big day.The best thing about Gruene Estate is that they let you bring in all of your own vendors. I would have my wedding here again in a heartbeat!! :)

Nolan Bluntzer (President) Thanks for visiting, My name is Nolan Bluntzer and I am President and C.E.O. of Gruene Estate. A native of New Braunfels Texas, Gruene Estate is so proud to manage the Gruene families original homestead, a one of kind historic and boutique wedding venue in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. Upon completing my undergraduate from the University of California, my wife and I returned to Texas to start and build the business of what is now known as Gruene Estate. When were not working, we are usually hunting, hiking, fishing, or just hanging out with our three kids.
