Guyton Ranch is a privately owned mountain/barn venue located one hour outside of Denver, surrounded by mountains and just minutes away from the iconic Kenosha Pass. We're proud to have held the title of The Knot's BEST OF WEDDING VENUE for the past four years! We believe your wedding is more than a few blurry, beautiful hours. Our goal is to serve all couples from all walks of life to create an authentic and memorable wedding weekend experience in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Our on-site housing simplifies your planning and waking up to some of the best mountains Colorado has to offer right outside your window creates the most beautiful memory for your wedding morning. Finding Guyton Ranch was an enormous blessing! We were looking for a beautiful venue that we could host a retreat-style wedding, that could accommodate a group of 100+ guests but have a homegrown feel to it. We rented Guyton for 4 days, and hosted several pre-wedding events (yoga, food truck, live music, yard games), and our ceremony. It was absolutely perfect for us! They had everything we needed, and none of the frilly bells and whistles that we didn’t need. Our guests had an amazing time, and we were told by many that it was their favorite wedding they had ever been to!

We got married at Guyton Ranch in September 2023! The views and ranch were incredible, both for photos and for the actual celebration. We planned our wedding in 6 months, and so I was not expecting to find something as beautiful as Guyton Ranch within our timeframe. We felt so lucky that there was an opening in September! And the fact that we could essentially have the entire venue for a weekend and didn't have to rush to set up or take things down was well worth the price of the venue. We were able to not only have our wedding there, but create a whole wedding weekend experience with our friends and family that we will forever cherish. We did not have a planner and so we worked directly with Allison ourselves. Allison was friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout the process. There were a couple of times where communication took a while from the venue, but when taking into consideration that we got direct communication from her, the owner, and it wasn't going through anyone else we still felt satisfied with the experience and communication. A child in our wedding party broke something on grounds and we were really horrified and felt terrible, and Allison was kind and understanding about it. The cost of repair came out of our security deposit and she documented things clearly and we got the remaining funds back, no issues. We are so happy we chose Guyton Ranch and would choose it again if we had to do everything all over again!

I highly recommend Guyton Ranch as a wedding venue. It's beautiful, comfortable, and the owner is super nice and easy to work with in terms of planning your day how you want it. We had to postpone due to COVID in 2020, and they were kind, patient and worked with us over the following two wedding seasons to allow us to pick a new date. I also loved that we were able to have the venue for 3 whole days, which made the weekend sort of like a big family vacation. The venue was exactly what I wanted and had spent a lot of hours researching and trying to find online: mountain ranch with indoor/outdoor ceremony and reception options, beautiful views, remote but close enough to Denver airport to make travel for out-of-state guests reasonably priced, places for guests to stay nearby (the house itself held a lot of us and there are a ton of air bnb cabins 5-20 mins from the ranch), very kid friendly, tons of fun things to do on the ranch (the game room was a big hit at the rehearsal party), allowed us to bring our own vendors/alcohol, provided some day of assistance/coordination, provided tables/chairs, plenty of parking, allowed our guests to camp on the property if they wanted, had two bonfire pits, multiple bar options.. it was just the perfect venue. The fact they let you plan your day how you want it without the super restrictive rules that some other venues have was very important to me as well. The only thing I would mention is that cell phone service is very spotty on and near the ranch (which is to be expected in the mountains). There is wifi, but it mainly only works near the big house. So don't forget to warn your guests about that! I did.. whoops. You may also want to include a map or a pin to the ranch on your website, as many people's GPS systems led them to the back entry of the ranch. For the amount of amenities, the beauty of the location, the ease of working with the owner, the reasonable price compared to similar venues, and everything else I just mentioned.. I highly recommend Guyton Ranch. It will forever be the place of my happiest day.

We were so happy to find Guyton Ranch while searching for wedding venues. One of the very first things we fell in love with were the amazing views. If you're looking for an amazingly beautiful backdrop for your special day, this place is it! Simply breathtaking! Now onto the ranch itself. We wanted a place for the entire wedding party and their families to stay for the event and some. We ended up renting out the ranch for an extended 5-day stay which we did not regret. This allowed for plenty of set up and tear down time so we didn't feel rushed. The ranch is beautifully decorated and super cozy. Plenty of room for 10+ guests. Beds were comfy and there are several bathrooms located throughout the house. Behind the house itself, you will find a \"saloon\" that includes ping pong, foosball and much more. This was a huge hit with both the kids and the adults. Outside, they have corn hole, fire pits, horseshoe pits, a basketball court and more. Such a great area for hosting several guests, we all had a lot of fun here! For your event, they offer a huge reception hall which is absolutely beautiful! We were able to decorate however we liked to make the event our own. They provide tables, chairs and restrooms which was a huge selling point for us because that eliminated the extra expense of having to rent these items. Another huge selling point for us was the fact that they allow you to bring in your own vendors. We booked Famous Dave's BBQ for our food, brought in our own Bartender - Shay from Behind The Platter, booked our own DJ - Justin from Exclusive Events and brought in our own cupcakes - Karen at KB's Kakery. We were very against being forced to use a venue's specific vendors and Guyton Ranch allows you to make your event as unique as you are. Allison was a huge help throughout the event and was open to any requests or suggestions we had. Our day turned out perfect and our guests are still raving about the venue. Guyton Ranch is your place, you won't regret it!

We fell in love with this venue the day we saw it. We loved that we could stay the weekend and not be rushed and also loved that we could choose our own vendors. I will never forget our wedding weekend and hope to return one day with friends and rent it out for a getaway.

I loved this venue! It affords you the ability to create any kind of wedding you want, and the owners are absolutely lovely humans. The views are breathtaking, and the sunsets are truly majestic. The house is adorable, sheets soft, and the fridge is big enough for your food leftovers! The venue is spacious - there’s a saloon with all sorts of games in it, the barn is big enough to hold the ceremony and reception in. They made a brunch for my husband and I with local Colorado foods which was so thoughtful. I could honestly just keep rambling about how much I loved this venue, but you should just hurry up and check their availability.

I had the best experience with Guyton Ranch! My wedding was 6.18.22 and I am so incredibly happy with my experience. Allison, the owner, was in constant communication with me and offered so much support through the planning process. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and I would definitely recommend staying an extra night! We did our rehearsal here as well, with all the different games and activities, not to mention the stunning view, all our guests were blown away by their experience as well!

I highly recommend Guyton Ranch Venue! Our stay and event were flawless and incredibly fun! The venue was spacious and accommodated our large party well! The mountains in the background were picturesque, the main farmhouse was perfect for ourselves and family and the reception area was beautiful and there was plenty of space to dance the night away!Allison was extremely helpful, punctual and accommodating to our questions. The recommendations she made for us for a caterer turned out magnificent! Everything was clean and very well maintained! Having chairs and tables already on premises, helped tremendously! The kids in attendance enjoyed s’mores at the fire pit, exploring the ranch, kickball, the game room and more! They begged us to come back for another visit when we left!Having a chapel right on premises was the perfect highlight to our renewal ceremony. It was so very quaint and felt like it was built just for us! We can’t wait to return next summer. Our entire family is meeting at the ranch for a large family reunion! Allison has been so professional and easy to work with to make our plans a dream come true! Thank you so much for making our dreams a reality!!!!

I can't imagine a better venue for our wedding. Big skies, gorgeous mountains, ultimate flexibility, high altitude fun - we had the best wedding we ever could have wished for. Allison was amazing to work with - no fuss and extremely helpful with answering my millions of questions. Having a wedding venue that could house the whole wedding party and family members for multiple days extended the celebration!

Chelsea, our ranch hand was super sweet and attended to all of our needs on our wedding day. We loved spending the weekend on the ranch with our family before and after the wedding. It was so nice not having to rush to set up and tear down so we could get some quality time in with our loved ones. Also, our guests and vendors loved the breathtaking setting and amenities :) We received SO many compliments about how lovely our wedding was! Also, the saloon was a big hit! We could not recommend Guyton Ranch enough!

I was a guest at a summer wedding at Guyton ranch and it was one of the lovliest wedding I have ever attended..besides my own!The amenities were awesome.. the house was well equipped with all the essentials for the wedding party with room for hair and makeup and the bridal dressing room....The outdor property was expansive and Colorado naturally beautiful with lots of dining and cocktail areas that were used wonderfully to host both rehearsal dinner ( a food truck!) and a beautiful indoor wedding dinner in the main hall.The ranch hand on site was beyond helpful and the wedding weekend was both relaxing AND a huge success!

We recently celebrated my son's wedding at Guyton Ranch and all I can say is \" I wish I could do it all over again\" . From the rehearsal dinner on Friday evening ending with a farewell brunch on Sunday everything was flawless. The team at Guyton Ranch were on call and present for all requests prior and during the weekend. So important for weddings there are so many details that needed quick answers and Allison was always there to answer our calls .Loved the fact that we had the home for the weekend so the family could enjoy being together . The house had great space for make up artist and bridesmaids to be together and enjoy being with the bride in their own private area . I have to mention how well and manicured the grounds were kept and kudos to our ranch hand for all his help through the weekend with a smile . I wanted to invite him to be a guest. The bride and groom got everything they wanted. Rehearsal dinner casual with food trucks and a jazz band, the ceremony facing the mountains, the barn which we dressed up for reception. We recently celebrated my son's wedding at Guyton Ranch and all I can say is \" I wish I could do it all over again\" . From the rehearsal dinner on Friday evening ending with a farewell brunch on Sunday everything was flawless. The team at Guyton Ranch were on call and present for all requests prior and during the weekend. So important for weddings there are so many details that needed quick answers and Allison was always there to answer our calls .Loved the fact that we had the home for the weekend so the family could enjoy being together . The house had great space for make up artist and bridesmaids to be together and enjoy being with the bride in their own private area . I have to mention how well and manicured the grounds were kept and kudos to our ranch hand for all his help through the weekend with a smile . I wanted to invite him to be a guest. The bride and groom got everything they wanted. Rehearsal dinner casual with food trucks and a jazz band, the ceremony facing the mountains, the barn which we dressed up for reception. I can go on and on what a great experience we had and how the ranch checked off all the boxes for my son and daughter wanted for their wedding weekend. I would not have changed a thing...

Allison was amazing to work with. We absolutely loved this wedding venue. We had quite a large wedding (150+) and the space was absolutely able to accommodate us with plenty of options for set-up. Sunset was stunning, scenery was stunning. Guests loved the outdoor bar cart, amazing photography backgrounds, and western vibe complete with cowboy boots and hats. Epic dance party into the night. Couldn't recommend them more! Multiple friends spoke about how they wanted to get married here throughout the reception!

Our wedding was beautiful in the end, but by the time we purchased a restroom (they supply one porta potty) the quality was not comparable to other venues in the same price range. Per request, I gave feedback after our stay and the owner responded, but didn't seem interested in our constructive criticism. To future brides/grooms, take into consideration how much time and effort you may have to expend to make the ranch wedding ready before you commit to getting married here.

Choosing Guyton Ranch for our wedding was one of the best decisions my husband and I made in the wedding planning process. We absolutely adored the unique and absolutely stunning setting. Our guests couldn’t stop telling us it was the most beautiful backdrop they have ever seen. It was a perfect DIY wedding spot. We were able to bring in our own food truck, bar tending options, and even stay with our family in the house on the property. The owner of the ranch Allison was absolutely fantastic. Planning a wedding during a pandemic was not ideal, but having Allison to help support us through it was so helpful. The day of Ranch hand offered with the property helped everything go smoothly the day of and I couldn’t say enough wonderful things about Chelsea. She took any bit of last minute stress away in an instant. I am not sure I could fully encompass everything we loved about Guyton Ranch in a short review, but it is an incredibly special place we will always love and I highly recommend this venue for any wedding or event.

This venue was so amazing. I attended as a guest--the bride and groom had their ceremony out past the ranch where you can see all the mountains surrounding the valley. The wedding had a food truck which was so cool and the guests were able to walk around during the reception and explore the ranch. The DJ was really good too and the dance party was outside at night. They had set up a ton of lights and the dance party had some serious vibes. The ranch itself is beautiful--it's a very authentic Colorado ranch that is also luxurious. It has a very high end feel. The wedding was amazing, the decor that the bride chose was perfect for the ranch, the weather was perfect, the sunset was perfect, the whole night was incredible for my friends getting married.

Decided to take a trip to Colorado and was the first time in my life. It was originally for 2 days and turned out to be a week long. Finding the Guyton Ranch was by far the most relaxing and enjoyable trip I’ve ever had. Had the entire ranch to ourselves and it truly was an escape of a life time. I’ve stayed in some very nice 5 star hotels with some amazing views and exceptional services but there is absolutely no comparison to the peacefulness and sights and sounds of wildlife around you. The stars were a must see and the glow of the mountains at dawn and dusk surrounding the property was something I’ll never forget. There wasn’t a dull moment for this kids to explore the property and games for days for them to entertain themselves. There was a book on the table in the living room that had family gatherings and in the front entry way was a warm welcome of family photos and history on the ranch. It’s welcoming and calming that there is an opportunity to see the beauty of this family that has opened up there home for a one of a kind Colorado ranch experience and makes you feel at home yourself. I’m grateful to share this experience with my own family and hope that yours can to. Thanks to the Guyton Family and for opening your doors to mine. Ever in Texas and need a place to stay. Decided to take a trip to Colorado and was the first time in my life. It was originally for 2 days and turned out to be a week long. The Guyton ranch is in the top 5 places I have ever been. From the moment I drove through the ranch gate I knew I was in love. This house is incredible, it has that western charm and is decorated perfectly. Every room I walked into was my new favorite, the saddle seats in the kitchen were a very cool touch and fun for pictures, the bedrooms were all very cozy and had such attention to detail that I would have been happy to stay in any of them. My top two favorite spots were the silo sitting room because it was so different, and a very cool use of space, and my favorite spot was the living room with the oversized glass doors showing off the incredible views of the mountains. Then I went outside and saw the attention to details in all the out buildings! The owners did an incredible job capturing the wild west theme of the super fun accessory building and the games inside were very fun. Both the dance room, and the function hall were absolutely beautiful complete with a rustic feel. I would not change one thing about this Ranch! The first night we sat in the rocking chairs out on the front porch with a drink in our hands listening to some music and watching a thunder storm off in the distance, I was in pure bliss. The next morning I woke up early and enjoyed the stillness in the air as the sun rose over the mountains, it was an incredible view of the fields with cows and the most breathtaking mountains. During the afternoon we went exploring the town where we went horseback riding, and to a local saloon for a beer, and then we explored more of what this cute little town had to offer. Then we went back to the ranch and walked along some trails to enjoy the fresh air. Cooking dinner in the kitchen was so easy as they had everything we needed to make a home cooked meal. We ate dinner at the indoor/ outdoor table looking out at the mountains. That evening we had a fire outside under the stars… you have never seen stars like this! It was by far the best viewing of the stars I have seen yet. Needless to say, I have fallen in love with this ranch and can’t wait to get back there. You and your group will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here. I highly recommend staying at the Guyton Ranch!

Guyton Ranch is the perfect venue for a Colorado wedding ! Very affordable ! The Guyton's are very easy to work with and extremely flexible ! The perfect combination for keeping our daughters wedding affordable ! Our guest were allowed to camp on the property for the 2 day event along with guests staying in the house. We weren't tied to any caterer so we were able to cater our self. We were able to setup the party barn the day before, this was extremely helpful to keep stress low for the day of the wedding. After setting up the barn we had a game night with our guest in the game barn(Saloon) that allowed our families to get to know each other, what a fun night that was. The day of the wedding was magical with incredible 360 degree views of snow caped mountains. Absolutely breathtaking ! It really eased our mind to know we could have ceremony in the barn or chapel if the weather didn't cooperate. You never know what the weather will be in Colorado! The Barn was perfect for our dinner then dancing, the rustic atmosphere made it feel like a true Colorado wedding. The ranch hand was super helpful and worked hard at anything we asked of her. If you are looking for an Outdoor Colorado Rustic Wedding Venue I would absolutely recommend Guyton Ranch !!!

Guyton Ranch is the perfect venue for a Colorado wedding ! Very affordable ! The Guyton's are very easy to work with and extremely flexible ! Our daughter got married at the Guyton Ranch in August and it was everything her and our son in law wanted for their Colorado Rustic wedding. Because we were able to be at the property for 4 days it alleviated the stress of having to get everything ready the day of the wedding. We were able to relax and enjoy spending time with family and friends. All our guests loved the property and the Colorado western experience, you couldn't ask for a better backdrop for an outdoor ceremony and they were even able to ride off on their horses. The owners Allison and Brad were wonderful and responsive all along the way, they both wanted us to be happy and have a great experience. The ranch hand we had the day of the wedding was awesome, so helpful and great to work with. Be prepared for Colorado weather, we had some issues with the rain coming through and had to move into the big white barn but that's what's great about the property; they have many options. The house is beautifully decorated and cozy, it has everything you need with a fully stocked kitchen, western details (love the silo turned into living space), and room for a dozen plus people to sleep.

The owners Allison and Brad were wonderful and responsive all along the way, they both wanted us to be happy and have a great experience. The ranch hand we had the day of the wedding was awesome, so helpful and great to work with. Be prepared for Colorado weather, we had some issues with the rain coming through and had to move into the big white barn but that's what's great about the property; they have many options. The house is beautifully decorated and cozy, it has everything you need with a fully stocked kitchen, western details (love the silo turned into living space), and room for a dozen plus people to sleep.

My kids jump at the chance to return and we always leave even more enamored than our first visit. The ranch is quite large and can easily accommodate a large group. However, it feels intimate and personal - kind of like I am right at home.

We stayed at the Guyton Ranch in August for an amazing event put on by the Guyton's. The ranch was spectacular and we felt right at home! They have thought of every detail from tiny creature comforts to the cozy accommodations, to a building and spot for everything and everyone. We stayed 2 days/1 night. There were about 80 people at the Ranch the event. We had a great time with the activities, socializing, eating, taking in the views, and exploring this awesome venue! The Guyton's are easy to work with and eager to please. All of our expectations were exceeded. The property is so versatile, I think you could host most any size and type of event. We can't wait to go back!

The Guyton Ranch is a magical place for any group looking to inspire guests! We stayed for 2 nights and used it for a retreat for our staff (15) and the response was amazing. People love the views, the unique fun spaces, and the attention to detail in every aspect of the home. From the rounded silo room, to the cozy living room, to the dance hall and game rooms, it is a one stop destination retreat. We held a “Jeffersonian” dinner night followed by games and fun that my staff still talks about months later. The ranch had everything we needed and is close to beautiful Kenosha Pass, which offered great options for fall hikes. This is a new tradition for my group because we can learn and live together for a weekend, creating ranch memories and new themes for our work each time we visit. The Guytons are responsive to any need and treated us like family throughout the process. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for something authentic and unique for your group that is a short drive from the Denver metro area.

I was a guest at the Guyton Ranch this year for a family ranch party. We were up there for the weekend for a BBQ and weekend-long reunion. We used the backyard for soccer, lawn games, BBQ, live music, pancake breakfast, basketball, s'mores. We had a kids' PB&J making contest in the front yard. We also had a huge kickball tournament in the field behind the backyard and also used the saloon for air hockey and ping pong. One of the barns has a dance hall and our hosts threw a neon dance party (mostly for the kids). We used the chapel for a championship bingo game and used the house for sleeping, cooking and hanging out. We stayed 1 night and there were about 20/30 guests and there were about 12 people who stayed at the house and the rest of us camped out overnight. The venue was amazing because there were so many different places to use for different activities and there was always about 2/3 different things going on at any one time. The house is super cozy and accommodated everyone and had enough room for people who brought trailers and tents to sleep outside. The house is beautifully designed as well and has a really upscale ranch feel to it--every design element--furniture, decor, interior design--is very high end and well-kept.Our hosts were super imaginative and there were so many different things we did in the span of 24 hours--games, gatherings, tournaments, meals...I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to make an event that allows them to be flexible and customize their weekend, wedding, reunion, corporate event, to what they want to do. Seriously, the sky is the limit with how you can use the elements of the ranch--the lawns, buildings, barns, out buildings...Guyton Ranch is a beautiful setting for any event and has so much to it that you can use to customize to your event. I would recommend this place to anyone, hands down!

The Guyton Ranch was an absolutely stunning location for our Colorado mountain wedding. The property is almost as stunning as the backdrop itself. We loved having the ability to stay on site the few days leading up to the wedding with our closest family and friends. It made preparations much easier and more relaxed. There were so many lovely nooks and crannies on the property that were great for photos and for entertainment. If you're looking for a rustic, outdoor venue for an affordable price, this is the place to come! The owners were great, and the ranch hands that were onsite during our wedding were FANTASTIC! They were on call for whatever we needed and were so much fun to have around. They went above and beyond what was asked. Weather was a small issue for us, but it ended up being fine. Pay attention to the time of year you plan your wedding (be aware of possible storms, cold and wind), particularly if you are having it all outdoors like we did. There wasn't a large enough indoor space to hold all of our 175 guests. Our wedding was very simple and minimalistic so we did not have trouble getting the vendors we needed out to Jefferson.
