We got married at Hachland in Sept 2023 and I honestly can’t even begin to express how incredible our wedding was. The property feels truly magical and as though you’re stepping into another world. The beauty of the property itself serves as so much of the decoration for the day. I loved that I felt like all we really needed to do was accent and highlight the natural beauty around us with lights and flowers. There are creeks flowing, old charming inns, hiking trails, suspension bridges over the creeks, owls in the trees at night, beautiful birds in the day. If all the beauty and charm of the place isn’t enough, the staff who owns and runs Hachland is truly next level. We immediately felt the care and comfort that comes from working with a family run establishment. The Hach family takes so much pride in this place, in the events they put on, and the food they serve. This care is so evident in all the staff who work there as well. We had our immediate family and wedding parties stay on site in the inns with us, which was so special as we got to see them so much more during the weekend than if we had all been staying apart at hotels etc. We all woke up each morning to an extraordinary home cooked breakfast at the main inn and got to talk, laugh and catch up in the dining room before getting ready and starting the wedding preparations. Having breakfast there with our families the day after the wedding was the perfect little goodbye and send off. The Hachland team worked flawlessly with our planners (who were recommended to us by Hachland) and all of our other vendors. The whole team did an outstanding job of letting me be a guest at, and enjoy my wedding weekend. I wanted a weekend that felt special, meaningful, and was as slow and as non-stressful as possible. Hachland and the whole team made that happen for us. We wanted a venue that we could have for the whole weekend, and a place where our friends and family could gather since this was a destination wedding, and Hachland was so perfect for just that. We did our rehearsal dinner there Friday night outdoors on the patio under the twinkle lights and the Hachland team knocked it out of the park regarding food, decor and planning. It was such a special memorable night. The food that was served at our wedding is still being raved about by our guests. I realize I’m a bit biased, but it was truly the best food I’ve had at a wedding. I felt like we all got to leave “the real world” for a weekend and bask in family, love, friendship, incredible food, and dancing the night away. The Hach family and all of the Hachland staff gave us the most amazing wedding weekend that was beyond our wildest dreams, thank you all! Reviewed on 14-12-2023
Olivia Henry(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-10-2022 I can’t say enough amazing things about Carter, Sally, and Joe, and their beautiful venue and incredible food. The grounds are gorgeous and there’s two different inns on site where our family and wedding party were able to stay and enjoy the weekend with us. Everyone commented on how picturesque the venue is. Carter, Sally, and Joe were so communicative and helpful and accommodating. Joe was on site the entire weekend checking in on everyone and offering to help out. And the food!!!! Carter worked with us on a menu to our liking and I was blown away by the outcome. I will never stop talking about how much I loved this place - best decision we made for our wedding. They helped make it the best day of my life and I’ll forever be grateful. Reviewed on 14-10-2022

Priscilla Quintana(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-05-2022 Hachland Hill was the best most beautiful venue we could've ever hoped for. Our friends and family said it felt like we were in another world. Sally and Carter were so patient and communicative the entire 2 years of planning it took us. We had to postpone because of Covid once but they made the process as smooth as possible. Wedding planning is SO stressful but I really appreciated how responsive they were, always answering emails right away and on top of everything. It was so close to Nashville too so we got to have our pre wedding celebrations there (we live in VA) and then our wedding in the most dreamy place just minutes away. And the food!! OMG!!! DELICIOUS!!! I have been to alot of weddings and the food is typically average- ours was the BEST I have ever have. Our wedding was everything we could've hoped for and I would recommend Hachland Hill in a heartbeat. Reviewed on 07-06-2022
Madison Gilliam(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-04-2021 Hachland Hill is like something out of a fairytale. The venue itself is breathtaking, with a natural spring running right next to the old tobacco barn and near a few ceremony sites throughout the property. We were even able to have all of our guests stay on the property for two nights and the inns are absolutely charming and very comfortable to stay in. Carter Hach and his family and team were great to work with to seamlessly execute our dream wedding, even in the midst of a pandemic. They were very responsive and flexible with all that comes with a COVID wedding. Carter is an incredible chef and baker and helped us nail down the perfect menu for our rehearsal and reception. Our guests are still dreaming of his food and plan to purchase his cook book when it comes out! Working with Carter was an absolute pleasure and we are looking forward to making this hidden gem our go to get-away for many years to come. I highly recommend Hachland Hill for your wedding. Kayla Sullivan(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 18-05-2019 The moment we first arrived at Hachland Hill, we immediately knew that this property was pure magic and that we had found our wedding venue. From the creek running directly through the ceremony site(s) and reception area, to the historic inn and tobacco barn, and all the vegetation that has made the area so lush and welcoming, the scenery is just breathtaking and our guests couldn’t believe their eyes either. And that’s only the half of it - Carter Hach and his family and team provided our group with incredible hospitality and even more incredible food. I don’t know how Carter does it all so seamlessly but he is an absolute pleasure to work with and remained flexible with us throughout our wedding. We look forward to coming back for another visit - just to get off the grid and eat his incredible cuisine. Couldn’t recommend a more special and perfect place for our wedding - a true gem in Tennessee. Reviewed on 03-06-2019
Kristy Lucero(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 20-10-2018 Hachland Hill was the perfect wedding venue for us! My husband and I were married October 20, 2018. We began planning a year before and looked at several wedding venues before deciding on Hachland Hill. From the moment we stepped onto the property we knew we’d found something special. The venue feels very peaceful and remote, though it is less than half an hour from Nashville. We had our ceremony in the large field and reception in the old tobacco barn/tent. The woods, creek and fall foliage set the perfect backdrop for our October wedding. There are two houses on the property that are rented out for accommodations, so most of our immediate family members were able to stay on site for the weekend which made for a really fun experience. Carter was great to work with throughout the process. He was able to accommodate several visits to the property ahead of the big day (even when I texted him on a Friday night asking if I could come by the next day to show my mom the venue because she was visiting from out of town and wanted to see it). Carter is also the chef and we were very pleased with all of the food options for the weekend, from the rehearsal to the cocktail hour to the reception meal. We had several of our guests compliment the food. Thank you to Carter and the rest of the staff at Hachland Hill for helping us pull off our dream wedding. Reviewed on 08-12-2018
Meghan Roszak(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-10-2018 This place now holds a special place in my heart. My husband and I were married October 6th, 2018 at Hachland Hill, but we starting planning two years earlier. We are from Chicago, but wanted a destination wedding in Nashville. The moment we stepped foot on the Hachland property we were in love. We had around 40ish people stay on property for the entire weekend. Friday night we had rehearsal dinner and I still DREAM about the hot fudge pie that we had. It was the best dessert I have ever had. Afterwards, my closest friends and family that were staying on property when down the hill and had a bonfire with a acoustic jam session with our band (friends of ours also staying on property). It is one of my favorite moments of the weekend (besides the whole getting married thing!). The day of the wedding I didn't get to see anything complete until I was ready. They did amazing setting up and making sure everything went smoothly. The food was delicious- Great southern food. The hospitality of Carter and his family was something I will cherish forever. We got to know them on a personal level and they are such wonderful people. The venue is absolutely beautiful and my photographer had a blast finding the perfect spots for our pictures. My friends and family all had a memorable time because of the venue and food. If you are thinking about getting married here- do it! You will not be disappointed. Reviewed on 17-11-2018
Desiree Ancar(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-06-2015 My husband and I had our June wedding at Hachland Hill in Joelton, TN. Everything about the experience was amazing. The venue is so beautiful that our flower budget was minimal ($60!). We were married in the meadow and our reception was held in the Tobacco Barn on the grounds. The best part was that unlike many of the barn/outdoor venues in Nashville, Hachland Hill provides a tent throughout the summer wedding season. The cost of this tent is split among the brides that use the venue during that season. They do the same thing during the fall wedding season as well. As most brides know, tents can be EXPENSIVE but not at Hachland!\r\rAnother benefit of choosing Hachland Hill as your venue is using their catering. Bringing in an outside caterer isn't allowed, but there's also no need. The food is amazing. We served fried catfish, pulled pork, corncakes, baked beans, corn on the cob, vegetable skewers and salad, and we got back rave reviews. No one went home hungry :)\r\rFinally, you'll work with the owner of Hachland Hill, Joe Hach, to finalize all details. I will admit that he was sometimes difficult to contact (emails had to be followed up by phone calls and vice versa). However, on the day of he was attentive, caring, and nailed every detail. I can not say enough good things about this venue. If you choose Hachland, you will not be disappointed! Reviewed on 20-09-2015
Sloane Speakman(groom)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-09-2015 We recently had our wedding reception here and it was absolutely perfect. Not only is the venue itself stunning, but the food was AMAZING and staff were incredibly accommodating. All of our friends had such a great time and are still commenting on how much fun they had! Everyone loved every detail, from the tobacco barn to the quaint bed and breakfast.\r\rI will second what the other review wrote about being weary of unexpected costs. Fees and taxes and other charges seemed to just come out of nowhere. In particular, dealing with renting out the B&B ended up being much more difficult - and expensive - than we planned. In the end, though, everything worked out and we couldn't have asked for a better weekend! Reviewed on 10-09-2015
Kathryn McCreless(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 11-06-2011 The old tobacco barn has a creek that runs alongside of it and it is shaded by trees. It is beautiful! The woman who owns and runs the place has being doing weddings for over 50 years, so she knows how to do them well. The venue is a great deal, but be wary of unexpected costs. Reviewed on 28-06-2011
