Victoria Sunnergren(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 08-10-2022 Alisha was absolutely amazing. We had a long covid engagement and she remembered requests we made two years ago that I forgot we wanted! She made sure their staff were present enough that we had no issues, but not in the way or distracting from our guests. She didn't mess up my wife's nonbinary pronouns and she supported us in making sure uninvited guests didn't show up anyway. We wanted our \"first look\" to be at the alter, and she made sure there was no way we could accidentally see each other before then. She was so chill about set up and take down and didn't make us feel rushed. She did everything she could to make our night perfect. Also, Hagley is gorgeous in general and our guests all got guest passes to come back and enjoy the museum another day. Reviewed on 24-10-2022
Alissa Spritz(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-10-2021 Alisha was truly amazing to work with. Between postponing our wedding twice until finally making it to our wedding date (3rd date was a charm), she was so easy to work with and helped us make our day amazing. Hagley is so beautiful, especially in the Fall, and we were so grateful we were able to get our favorite shot despite the flooding and devastation experienced by the river. Reviewed on 24-12-2021
Kerri Batrowny(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 17-04-2021 We were originally supposed to have our wedding in April 2020. Because of the pandemic, we decided to postpone our wedding to April 2021. Hagley was so accommodating, understanding, and sympathetic given the current situation. Hagley Museum & Library is absolutely beautiful. Our guests were blown away with how pretty it is. & it is such a unique place to have a wedding! We had a canon demonstration which is not something you find with every wedding venue and it was wildly entertaining and educational. Our guests absolutely loved that. The staff at Hagley deserve an A+. Planning a wedding in a pandemic was not easy (especially when you're dealing with things like capacity limits and social distancing) but it would have been so much harder without the attentive and communicative staff at Hagley! They made the process of planning a wedding as easy as it could have been given the circumstances. & the wedding day itself went smoothly. Thank you Hagley for being so great! Reviewed on 20-04-2021
Lori M(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 07-03-2020 We absolutely loved working with Alisha - she is calm, patient and super responsive. Alisha toured us around the property with honest advice on the advantages of each of the venues. She also provided excellent recommendations for catering companies. Alisha helped us every step of the way, and even followed up after our event. Just seeing her at the reception made us feel everything was taken care of and in good hands. Highly recommend the gorgeous venue, friendly people and overall experience. Reviewed on 18-12-2020

Esther R(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 26-09-2020 This was the best venue for a COVID wedding and in general because it's SO flexible. Our original plan was an indoor wedding, but because of COVID, we moved it outside without a problem. You can rent a part of the Soda House for cheaper or you can rent the entire building. There are three rooms, one of which is a large auditorium which is wonderful for acoustics. You can have as little people as you want, which worked for us because other venues had minimums. This venue is a canvas where you can have your dream wedding and the estate is gorgeous. Driving into the venue was always a treat since it was so lush and green on the way. You can also rent their shuttle for a small fee so you can take pictures all around their very large grounds. Even though it's a museum, the venue is also secluded and you will not have anyone intrude your party. The cherry on top is the venue coordinator, Alisha, who is so sweet and responsive. The venue is historic and has some rules like no open flames indoors, but she will accommodate as much as she can. The staff is very COVID conscious and they take safety seriously, so we felt we were in good hands. If that didn't convince you, the museum is involved in the community and it's nice knowing that we helped contribute to a well-meaning non-profit (Though the event space itself doesn't feel like a museum, which was also important to us). We are endlessly grateful to the staff and this hidden gem! Reviewed on 21-10-2020
Anna Semutkina(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 27-10-2018 Gorgeous romantic venue in the park area that’s great for the pictures.(They provide buss for us to get to the picture sides, such as barn, DuPont mention, garden, river) Heather was awesome and easy to work with. Even though she beak her leg badly, that did not stop her to make sure that everything is taking care of. Reviewed on 28-11-2018
Abigail Thomforde(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-11-2017 Absolutely loved the Soda House at Hagley. Wonderful wedding all around. And working with Heather was a breeze. She made everything so easy and answered questions so perfectly. I only wish she hadn't been on maternity leave during the day of my wedding, her temporary replacement was less than satisfactory, she completely refused to listen to the groom or the minister. But regardless, the venue was amazing, Heather couldn't have been better to work with, and we had a cannon demonstration during cocktail hour! How fun! Reviewed on 14-02-2018
Michelle Guerriero(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-03-2017 My husband and I just got married in the Soda House on the Hagley Museum grounds and we could not be happier with our venue. It was a intimate venue that is rich in history and architectural details. One of the reasons we selected Hagley was we could have everything on site. We had our ceremony in the auditorium in Soda House and used the two gallery spaces for dinner and dancing. The entire Hagley staff was great and offered to help us in any way they could during our entire planning process. Our contact was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had while planning our wedding. We spent the extra money to rent one of the Hagley buses to drive us around the property for photos, which was some of the best money we spent. Hagley provided us with a staff member who knew the grounds well and suggested several places for us to get photos taken. Our guests repeatedly told us they loved our venue and it was nice not to attend a wedding in the typical big ballroom setting. Many of our guests also said they would be coming back to visit the actual Hagley Museum. We would highly recommend Hagley Museum and Library for anyone looking for a unique wedding venue. Michelle Marino(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-10-2014 My husband and I got married at the Hagley Soda House a few weeks ago and our experience couldn't have been better! We looked at a handful of venues in Delaware and Pennsylvania and immediately knew that this was where we wanted to get married. The Soda House and its surroundings are a great mix of a rustic exterior with a clean modern interior. Our coordinator Heather was amazing - so kind and helpful! She was very quick to answer questions throughout the planning process. And she was there with us the day before and day of the wedding, making sure that everything ran smoothly and even taking over the decorations and set-up so that I could finish getting ready.
