Hale Street Center is an unique concept new to downtown Charleston, WV. It is our desire to invigorate the downtown community. The Hale Street Center at 210 Hale Street provides one centralized location for weddings, receptions, parties, company meetings, seminars, small business entrepreneurs and the artist among us. Whether you are looking for a place to hold your dream wedding, wedding reception or baby shower, we have 4 floors of available space. Whether it's industrial steel and brick, eclectic goth or stunning views with that WOW factor that you're looking for, we've got the space for you! Flexibility is what you desire? We have lists of available vendors, but never make you utilize any certain vendor. Bring in your own catering, open bar and entertainment. Range $500-$4,000.

I just recently held my wedding and reception there. It was so beautiful and the coordinator Niki was very attentive to detail. I rented the first floor with the all inclusive package. I would recommend for brides who get overwhelmed with planning that the Hale Street is the best option with different packages to suit your needs. Staff at Hale Street have a portal that allows you to communicate with them without ever having to step foot in the office if you don't exactly live close by and provide timely responses. The surrounding areas in this historical district also allows for you to take beautiful photos. I highly recommend this venue.

I had my wedding here on July 31st after starting wedding planning July 10th. I was beyond stressed and nervous as I was planning a wedding in just a few weeks. Sherry was beyond amazing. She was accommodating, hardworking, and professional. I truly don’t know what I would’ve done without her. She made the day proceed flawlessly and took care of EVERYTHING. I cannot rave about her enough. I had an amazing experience and it was all thanks to Sherry. I cant recommend booking with her enough and having her be your day of coordinator.

I attended a wedding reception here recently. The way the ceiling is decorated with lights give such a beautiful ambiance. It is conveniently located right beside a parking garage. The facility (including the bathrooms) was very clean. I'd highly recommend.

Kristen, with Elite Events, was excellent, start-to-finish with our event. We had a couple meetings before, and she was always taking notes and clearly outlining our discussions. At our last meeting, she went through all the things we had discussed, and made sure all expectations were clear. The day of the event, everything was set and ready to go. We added our personal touches, and the party was a huge success! Hale Street Center is a beautiful location, with multiple floors and styles available, and a true asset to our community!! We had our post-wedding brunch at Hale Street. The post-wedding brunch was also my parent's 40th anniversary party as well. We also got ready there on the 2nd floor before the wedding. The space is gorgeous and the 2nd floor is just perfect for getting ready. There was tons of space for my bridal party, great lighting for the make-up team, and tons of chairs and mirrors for the hair team. My details pictures and first look with my dad from the 3rd floor space are amazing with the lighting and exposed brick. Kristen from Elite Events planned everything for the brunch and it was so easy. She was also our wedding planner and was honestly just the best. I cannot rave enough about how great this space and the event planning team are.

We recently had our wedding and reception at Hale Street Center, including using Kristen Kelley from Elite Events as our Wedding Coordinator. The venue was amazing, and perfect for our needs. Our wedding had a number of logistical challenges, including needing food, drinks and speakers / mic on multiple floors at different times of the night, but Kristen handled this easily. She developed a comprehensive itinerary that covered all setups and breakdowns, and worked closely with all of our vendors to make sure everything was executed seamlessly. She also gave us helpful nudges at the appropriate times to make sure we and our wedding party were in the right place at the right time, without having to watch the clock ourselves. Ultimately, we had our dream wedding, and we were able to enjoy it with peace of mind. Since we left immediately for our honeymoon, Kristen also offered to store our decor and other leftover items at Hale Street Center until we returned a week later. This was, hands-down, the best event service we’ve ever had, and we’ll definitely be using Hale Street Center and Elite Events for any future events.

Romantic and charming! This was my first event at The Hale Center and I was very impressed. I love the concept of the different levels in the building and utilizing the entire space. One of my favorite things about the day was the space for the bridal part to dress and hang out.

My best friends just got married here and it was BEAUTIFUL! I don’t know of any other space like this in the area. They did a fantastic job of modernizing the building while keeping all the original charm. Has a big city feel to it. The separate floor for the wedding party was a huge bonus. My best friends just got married here and it was BEAUTIFUL! I don’t know of any other space like this in the area. They did a fantastic job of modernizing the building while keeping all the original charm. Has a big city feel to it. The separate floor for the wedding party was a huge bonus. We had a fantastic time!

We had our wedding at Hale Street Center and our experience with this venue was superb. Kristen and the whole team were so accommodating, easy to work with, and straightforward, and made coordinating our event as seamless and uncomplicated as possible. The exposed brick next to the huge windows overlooking downtown Charleston makes for a highly photogenic space. The dressing area/getting-ready space for the wedding party is so roomy and hip. We couldn’t be happier!

The space is beautiful - I don’t think any of the pictures I’ve seen online really do it justice. And being able to separate the ceremony space from the dinner space by using each floor of the building really allowed our vision for the day to come to life. Plus, the location of the space makes it so easy to head out for photos, and it’s super convenient for guests to get to. I’ve been to weddings at several venues in Charleston and Hale Street Center is by far my favorite!

Lounge areas, multiple floor length Mirrors, and multiple vanities with space for everyone to get ready comfortably. Perfect for relaxing before the event.

Lovely space with an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere. The workers were flexible, accommodating, and professional. There are lots of different corners of the space to fit a variety of needs and I liked having a space to get ready and leave our things. All-around great wedding space!

The venue is a beautiful space for any event. The wedding I attended 5/8/2021 was beautiful. Lots of open space and windows and a suite to accommodate the wedding party. This event went on with no issues because the staff who made sure everything was taken care of and showed up in a flash to help with any questions or changes

I recently went to my best friend’s wedding at this venue! It was absolute perfection- the vintage vibe, the exposed brick, the gorgeous evening lighting, and the multiple floors available and tailored to all the needs of a wedding! Us girls spent the day getting done-up and pretty in our own spacious quarters while the boys had a lounge area of their own with thoughtful “manly” touches like gaming units, a mini pong game, and of course a bar. This was an amazing day with a beautiful bride at a truly lovely venue in the heart of Charleston!

The Hale Street Center was a perfect venue for our daughter's wedding. The table layout, decorations, flowers all went perfect with the feel of the building. Having the use of the 2nd floor was industrialconvenient for both the groom and bride for pre wedding preparations.

This is such a beautiful space. I went to a bridal shower here yesterday, and was taken back on how nice it was! New renovated, yet classically styled, - spacious, but cozy. I would highly recommend renting this space and plan to keep it in mind for future gatherings.

My best friend had her bridal shower at this venue and I was instantly blown away by the beauty of this building. We stepped into the elevator and it was gorgeous, so from the start we knew we were in for a treat. The actual event space is HUGE with lots of open space, natural light, beautiful exposed brick, a full kitchen, two bathrooms, a banquet area, and two alcoves. The owner was available and extremely kind. It was a hot spring day and the temperature was a bit warm and he immediately adjusted to our needs and saw to it that we were comfortable and taken care of. We had an amazing experience in an absolutely beautiful space. We could not be happier with show the shower turned out for our beautiful bride! She deserves the best, and she got it!

Where to start! This place was the PERFECT venue for my bridal shower! The exposed brick within the venue is absolutely stunning! It gives a beautiful rustic look to the space. Having use of a fully equipped kitchen became a major help when needing to reheat items and keep items cool. The loading zone in front of the building made the loading of items easy and quick. The spacious size of room was perfect to host a shower comfortably without feeling cramped. The staff are easy to work with and made everyone feel welcome and comfortable! I’m grateful to have had this venue as my shower location and would suggest this venue for your shower or wedding needs!
