Every single second from start to finish of planning our big day truly was in partnership with Maxine and her staff. From the second we stepped on property we felt like no one else in the world mattered but us in that moment. Maxine gave us an in depth tour of the grounds, discussed menu options, arrangements for ceremony, and answered my millions of questions. We had family from out of town a few times throughout the time of making Harbor Lights are venue selection and each time she took our special people on a tour without hesitation. The day of my wedding, and every day leading up I didn't have any feelings of anxiety or worry that something wouldn't be set up right or I would be missing something. My bridal suite was stocked with some of my favorite beverages to enjoy before my ceremony, the golf carts were there and ready to whisk us away to take pictures, and SHE MADE SURE my husband didn't see me a second before our first look. The evening was absolutely perfect, our cocktail hour was set up far beyond my expectations and was truly beautiful. The team at Harbor Lights has a wonderful eye for decor, the way things should be placed, etc. It all just came together so seamless. We are excited to continue to visit Harbor Lights during the spring/summer months for food/beverages at par & tackle and to continue to be reminded on how beautiful of special day was.

I had my baby shower at Harbor Lights & also previously attended a wedding here. Each time- the atmosphere, service, attention to detail & staff were amazing! Not to mention the food was absolutely delicious! If you are looking for something classy by the water, at a super affordable price- look, no further. Harbor Lights is definitely for you. Maxine the coordinator was 10/10 to work with. She is super sweet, professional & is there for your every need.

My wedding day was perfect and everything I dreamed of. I had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception at Harbor Lights. Everything ran smoothly, the service was exceptional, the food delicious. Our guests raved about the food!The scenery for our pictures were beautiful. From the docks on the ocean to the barn by the pond, everything is there. I considered hiring a day of coordinator but am glad I didn't because Maxine took care of everything. The entire day ran on schedule. What's more, she assisted through the entire event planning process. She always returned my calls/emails in a timely manner and addressed my questions and shared really great ideas with me. I was not disappointed and am so happy I had my wedding there!

Wish I could rate Harbor Lights way more than 5 stars! Maxine and her amazing team were incredible, during every step of the planning process all the way up to the day itself. Our wedding day was more perfect than I ever could have imagined and that was largely thanks to this amazing venue. They are truly incredible at what they do and experts in the industry - the attention to detail is unmatched, and they are just fun and friendly to work with on top of that! Maxine and her staff were responsive, professional, and helpful throughout our entire wedding planning process and reception! Our wedding day is something we will never forget because of the time and energy the staff put into making sure every detail was exactly how we envisioned it! The food came out hot, on time, and tested delicious. Would highly recommend adding the pasta and intermezzo course to your dinner! The ball room was spacious and inviting, the water view can’t be beat, and the added outdoor activities are “on par”! We received comments on our photos comparing harbor lights to ocean cliff in Newport! This venue is above and beyond amazing and would highly recommend this for any one getting married in the fall!!

All of the small details leading up to the big day really made all the difference. Harbor Lights is such a beautiful venue and was perfect for our wedding. We were fortunate enough to have food weather and their venue location kept us cool in the summer heat. They had super helpful staff and the location was perfect for photo opportunities! Where the ceremony was beautiful being off the water was great. The driving range for the happy hour was a perfect idea and everyone had a blast! The bar inside was very nice and the staff made sure all of our decorations were out and seen. It was a really fun cocktail hour with a lot of good finger foods (lobster mac and cheese was a hit) and good service. They accommodated the live music we had perfectly as well. The food was delicious. We had the chicken and steak meals, and our guests who had the steak said it was very tender and delicious.All 110 quests, including those with meal accommodation changes, were served dinner quickly and we got a lot of compliments on the food. The drinks were incredible and the bar service was fast. We did an open bar and champagne toast. If you’re looking for a good spot to get married near the water with the friendliest of staff, I would book here! Thank you again!

Harbor Lights couldn't have been a better reception venue for us or our guests. The staff, specifically Sabrina and Maxine who helped us with coordinating our wedding, were helpful, responsive, and organized. They answered all of our questions as the wedding approached and ensured that all the small details were in place. The venue itself is stunning inside and out. Our ceremony was outside and our guests loved the view of the Narragansett bay and the marina. The inside ballroom is meticulously maintained and the floorplan is perfect for medium to big sized weddings.

Run, don't walk to have your wedding at Harbor Lights! We wanted an ocean view with a clean, modern feel that wouldn't break the bank and we knew Harbor Lights was the one as soon as we got there. From the beautiful views to the bright ballroom area, this venue has a lot of bang for its buck. We loved working with Maxine and her team, they were seasoned pros who know weddings and made things so much easier than we anticipated!Unfortunately on the day of our wedding, it down poured. One of the deciding factors in finding our venue was having a rain back-up plan that was foolproof. Without hesitation, Maxine and her team did everything in their power to make the ballroom look stunning and then flipped the room seamlessly for our reception. Maxine and team also took all our very modest decor and decorated the guest tables, welcome table, sweetheart table, dessert table and more to absolute perfection! The venue truly had it all from chiavari chairs, catering packages, a golf, and more. The food was very good and we were even able to bring our own dessert from a favorite bakery! The servers were wonderful, especially Sarah, and always made sure we had everything we needed. We also loved the wedding party suites that gave our groomsmen and bridesmaids a private place to store things and for us to sneak away and have some time to ourselves during the night. Although we didn't have the waterfront ceremony of our dreams, we still couldn't imagine a better wedding venue. Thank you to all of the staff at Harbor Lights!

We absolutely loved every second of our wedding and picking Harbor Lights was such an easy choice. From the views, the food, to working with Tie. Everything went off without a hitch. Tie made planning my wedding so easy and simple I never had to worry about any detail. She genuinely cares and makes sure all your needs are met and stays in constant contact with you through the whole process which was very comforting. This venue is beautiful and amazing, and is capable of throwing the best party you could ever want, no matter how big or small. The food was also fantastic, and they do a great job with allergies as well!What really sets Harbor Lights apart, though, are the people working there. We worked with Tie at the start of our engagement, and then Brigh as we headed down the home stretch to our wedding date and they were both amazing. Brigh managed the day perfectly, kept us calm and having fun, and got us where we needed to be all night seamlessly. She was easy to get a hold of, and managed all of our special/last minute questions and requests with a friendly attitude and can-do spirit. She and the entire team at Harbor Lights played an enormous role in making sure that our wedding was everything we had ever imagined and more. We couldn't recommend this venue highly enough!

We are so happy that we chose Harbor Lights for our wedding venue. From start to finish, everything was perfect. We mainly worked with Tie, and she was fantastic with keeping track of all the details and promptly responding to any questions or concerns we had. Her constant positivity and attention to detail ensured that we enjoyed our wedding day without worry. Our guests raved about the hors d’oeuvres and enjoyed their meals. The rooms and the patio were set up perfectly and everyone loved being able to use the driving range during our cocktail hour. We would definitely recommend having your wedding at Harbor Lights!

I really have to say Harbor Lights was a perfect venue and we are so happy we chose it. We got endless compliments from guests and it was just so easy. It's a one-stop shop with a beautiful space, great food and lots to offer. It's obvious that they know weddings. Our coordinator was Maxine and I can't say enough good things about her. She was bubbly and positive and accommodating in every single interaction we had with her - which was many! She was so patient and never made me feel like a bridezilla (even though I think I was). The staff was just outstanding, when I walked into our reception room on our wedding day I started crying because it was just perfect. They nailed it. The driving range was a fun memorable detail and the patio area was so perfect for our cigar bar with the fire pit. I can't say anything negative and I'm a really tough critic. What we got for the price we paid felt like a lot and I think they offered the best value of all the venues we looked at. Maxine was super helpful about letting us add on or customize our package. I'm a psycho about crunching numbers and there were no surprises when it came time to pay the final bill, which is a nightmare I've heard many of my friends have had to deal with at other venues. We of course had covid affect some of our guests the week and even day of the wedding, which Maxine made a non-issue, there was no stress with last minute changes to our guest count.

After touring 8 venues in Rhode Island, the second we stepped into Harbor Lights we knew this was it. My husband was FaceTimed in to the first tour and Tie was the first person that spoke to him throughout the process. She truly saw our vision and was so accommodating throughout the process. I can't say enough great things to really express how much I loved working with her (and Maxine day of!) and how they really allowed me to take off my \"planning\" hat and enjoy our day. Even my family felt so comfortable with them and it just makes so much of a difference. The food was incredible and I truly wish I could attend another HL wedding just so I can eat it again! And the property itself is stunning - I couldn't believe that this was actually within my budget. And another cool part was that they told us to bring in any decor and they would find ways to incorporate it - and let me tell you, they made it perfect. There's a ton of positive reviews on HL, but I can tell you that there is a reason for that. I am a Type-A spreadsheet kind of bride and they really made our day completely perfect. Thank you to Tie, Maxine, and everyone else who made our Happily Ever After a joyous occasion!

We found Harbor lights in 2019 and instantly fell in love with atmosphere and location of this venue! When then hit the pandemic and unfortunately had to l or our wedding date from 2021 to May of 2022, Tie Cole was nothing short of amazing during this usually stressful situation. Any time we had a question or concern she responded in a almost instant email. Tie Was truly the most amazing, kind hearted and helpful coordinator! The day of was smooth even though we had a few hiccups all thanks to Tie and her assistant Brie! Can’t forget the food, cook to it’s best flavor and tender! If your looking for a water front, with amazing customer service and phenomenal food Harbor Lights is the place to go!

From the minute I stepped into Harbor Lights, I knew I was getting married at this gorgeous venue! I'm seriously so pleased with how everything turned out. Tie and Maxine were ROCKSTARS when it came to coordinating our wedding. They went above and beyond to make our special day so PERFECT! I think Tie saw my vision before I even did. We ended up having our rehearsal dinner there too - definitely recommend doing this if you get married there. The whole day just went so smoothly. The food was amazing, I wish I could eat there on the daily! It truly was a dream come true! Best wedding venue in RI by far!

Our wedding at Harbor Lights was perfect! Beautiful venue, excellent food, and fantastic staff. We worked with Maxine to plan our day. Maxine from day one was tentative to our requests and needs and was very responsive. She was very professional and had fun with us along the way. Come the big day, Maxine and Briee were there to assist us throughout the night and ensure we were had everything we needed (we did and these two made sure of it). I can't speak high enough of this venue and would highly recommend to everyone.

Our wedding was perfectly implemented from start to finish. Our wedding coordinator, Tie was awesome and my wedding party also loved her. She was very attentive and did everything to make sure the day was perfect and stress free for us-she even had a cooler of beer for our bridal party during pictures and helped with our photos. They also brought us food in our bridal suite before doing introductions into the reception. I loved Tie and my guests couldn’t stop raving about how much fun they had/how good the food was/how beautiful the venue was. The only feedback I could give is that guests said the hors d’oeuvres came out slow during cocktail hour and weren’t evenly dispersed between inside/outside. Personally, this does not matter to me and everyone said that the food was delicious. Huge thank you to Harbor Lights for a great night!!

This is going to be a very mixed review. Harbor lights is a wonderful venue. I was very impressed with their service with wedding coordinator Tie until Tie was no longer available for an unknown reason and we were given a new lady- Eli. I cannot begin to even explain how horrible and unprofessional this woman was. The most disorganized woman I have ever worked with. She continued to get our information wrong over and over- all in writing. She forgot to lock the door and has guests see me before the wedding in my dress, had my hide in the COAT CLOSET with my dad as she tried to fix the error. My mom continually had to make her own paperwork for Eli and actually sent it to Eli to use for us- as Eli’s were always wrong and totally unorganized. It was raining on the wedding day and I asked Eli where we could take photos inside after the ceremony and her response was I don’t know. So my photographer and I found a spot together. I’ve been trying to get my deposit back for a month- and everytime I ask her where it was mailed and when she writes back something different and doesn’t even answer my question. If you go to harbor lights- do yourself a favor and do NOT have Eli as your wedding coordinator. I cried too many tears over the stress of having her.

Choosing Harbor Lights as our venue was the best choice. You get the ocean view, golf course and marina all in one! There are so many stunning spots on property and the room is also gorgeous. We mainly worked with Tie throughout our experience and she was phenomenal. She was always quick to respond and was always on top of her game. Due to COVID we had to reschedule our wedding for a year later and she made that transition seamless. On the day of the wedding we worked with Kate and she was also excellent. Every single person I talked to the day of my wedding (wait staff, bartender, etc) were amazing! The food was incredible and I got so many compliments from guests about it! I would absolutely recommend Harbor Lights.

Harbor lights was the easiest and best decision when picking our wedding venue. From the first day walking around and seeing how beautiful it is to then sitting down with Tie to discuss the options she made it so fun and enjoyable.We booked right before covid hit for April 2021. I had so many questions this past year, while Tie was dealing with plenty of other couples she always answered all questions quickly and made it less stressful.The day before our wedding we met with Lauren to drop off and she was the absolute best to work with that day and day of wedding. Lauren and Tie handled everything perfectly and so beautifully. The ENTIRE staff working the wedding was incredible. And the food was unbelievable!10/10 recommend Harbor Lights for anyone looking for a beautiful wedding with the best staff!!

Tie was outstanding! She went above and beyond for our wedding. She came outside and fixed my veil and dress for pictures. She calmed my 2 year old and helped her to get down the aisle. She put in some extras with my decorations. She complimented me and calmed me when I was nervous. She is so generous and caring. She has a contagious laugh and bubbly personality. She made me comfortable, she was like a family member. The manager was kind and sweet and complimented me often. The venue was beautiful! Simple, clean and pretty. The view is gorgeous. For dinner I had the beef tenderloin and wow, delicious! We loved every minute there.

We seriously could not have picked a better venue for our recent October wedding. Tie was absolutely amazing to work with. The staff was so professional and actually looked happy at our wedding and was extremely responsive to our guests needs throughout the night. The food was amazing! We have had multiple people tell us it was the best meal they have ever eaten at a wedding. Tie & the venue truthfully go above and beyond for their couples and do everything in their power to make sure you have the best wedding of your dreams. When we came in from photos, Tie made sure we each had food brought to us and drinks of our choice. I highly recommend this venue. They are beyond professional and responsive throughout the planning process and the day of your wedding. Thank you for everything!!

My husband and I got married here on 10/25/2020. The venue was gorgeous and the food was delicious. Tie you were absolutely amazing. You dealt with my craziness for a year and a half, always answering my questions promptly. You promised us a perfect day despite corona restrictions, family dynamics, etc and you more than kept your promise. You made sure the entire event went smoothly and that everyone was having a great time. Our family and friends are still talking about what a wonderful time they had. You gave us all a night of joy and happiness during a time of darkness this year has caused for us, we all needed this so very much. We will forever be grateful for what you did for us. Got married 4 days ago at Harbor Lights and it was beyond amazing. Not only is the property itself GORGEOUS, the staff at Harbor Lights went above and beyond. Dealing with Tie was always a pleasant and enjoyable experience. Anytime I had a question or concern she would answer me quickly and help me in any way she could. She is the best at her job!!!! I could go on and on about how amazing Harbor Lights is but I’ll leave it with I would recommend to every bride out there looking for their dream venue! 10/10!

My husband and I got married in September 2020. I emailed Tie and told her that I was looking for a small wedding ceremony and a venue, and she responded right away that they have a mini package that is perfect for what I'm looking for. She was very accommodating from the very beginning until our wedding day. It ended up raining on our day but she made sure that everything is perfect. She worked so hard to make our wedding day extra special. Our guests loved the food and the raspberry lemon cake! I would highly recommend Harbor Lights and Tie is the best!

My husband and I cannot say enough about our experience with Harbor Lights! From the moment we met Tie, our wedding coordinator, she made us feel welcome and at home. She was a big part of the reason why we chose Harbor Lights as our venue and we could not be happier. We were looking for a setting that had a little bit of everything. During our selection process we visited many other great spots. Once we reviewed what all the venues had to offer, staff, location, views etc. it was a no brainer, we chose Harbor lights. From our initial inquiry until the big day, Tie was very attentive and enthusiastic. All our many questions were answered thoroughly; and she always responded to our emails right away. We had our ceremony on the premises which is a beautiful location right on the water. You can imagine how the stunning sunset behind us during the ceremony added to our perfect day! Before the ceremony, we found multiple charming spots on the property where we were photographed. Our first look was on the docks which was intimate and unforgettable! Cocktail hour was both outside and inside taking advantage of the great scenery and weather. Our guests really enjoyed that time! We also cannot say enough about the food selection, quality, and service offered at Harbor Lights. Between the cocktail hour appetizers and dinner entrees, our guests were raving about how delicious the food was. How can you go wrong with Lobster on a potato chip?! We were pleasantly surprised and thankful about how reasonably priced the day was at Harbor lights. Even though our reception was inside, the ballroom is all windows creating a great vibe with a spectacular view of the harbor. Tie took great care designing and setting up the room capturing our vision. Throughout the day, Tie and the rest of the staff were by our side for whenever we needed them and effortlessly guided us through the day. As you can imagine, especially during Covid times, they were honest and reassuring. Our wedding day turned out to be absolutely beautiful and perfect! From the bottom of our hearts we cannot thank Tie and Harbor Lights enough for making this possible!!

My husband and I had our ceremony and reception at Harbor Lights on October 4, 2020. Due to Covid I was concerned about the changes that had to be made and the safety of our guests. Tie told me everything will be fine and perfect....she was absolutely right! We had an amazing day! The venue is beautiful inside and out! We could not have been happier! A huge thank you to Tie Cole who is not only the sweetest person, but someone who truly loves what she does! This shows through her communication, dedication, and care she gives to her bride and groom. ❤

My husband and I recently hosted our wedding at Harbor Lights. We’ve enjoyed dining at Par & Tackle in previous summers, so naturally Harbor Lights was on our “must see” list of Wedding venues. Our coordinator, Tie, was a dream to work with. Like many other couples this year, we were faced with the challenge of reimagining our wedding day due to the current Covid-19 pandemic. From the start, Tie made sure to communicate every possible option we had and continued to do so as restrictions changed during the course of the pandemic. Ultimately we reduced our guest list and resorted to an entirely outdoor ceremony/reception. The obstacles didn’t stop there! The weather was not in our favor but Tie again made sure that everything was perfectly taken care of so we didn’t have to stress at all on our wedding day. The entire staff was exceptional and we had the most beautiful day despite the change of plans and weather. Thank you Harbor Lights!

Harbor Lights was the perfect venue for our micro-wedding this past month! We were so happy to find a venue offering a (pretty much) all-inclusive package for couples looking to follow all the current health protocols, but still get married. The package included DJ, photographer, officiant, bakery, event planner, etc. as well as other add-ons. Tie was our planner, and she was wonderful! We felt like we were in such good hands, the food was delicious, and everything was executed so well! We didn't feel like we missed out on anything by having a \"covid friendly\" wedding, all of our vendors treated us like we were a 200+ person wedding, even though we were less than 20. We can't recommend Harbor Lights enough!!

I am beyond grateful to have worked with Tie and her team at Harbor Lights for our summer 2020 wedding. No doubt, it's been one of the most challenging seasons on record for the events industry with ever-changing health requirements and state policies. We decided to go forward with our original date and downsize from our guest list of 175 to 50, the maximum allowed indoors, and late in the game decided to hold the entire event (rather than just cocktail hour) on the patio. Every step of the way, Tie was communicative, kind, and willing to work with us on a plan that would ensure safety, comfort, and even fun for our guests. She saw to every detail and we would recommend her and her team to anyone. Not to mention, stunning views and delicious food!

I married my husband Chris on 9/13/19- I had never heard of harbor lights (as a Rhode Islander) and was a very overwhelmed bride. After meeting with Jessica and seeing the view, I can’t begin to describe how perfect it is. It is absolutely beautiful, food is incredible, and the staff is everything you would want. All our guests spoke about the amazing food and view - it’s a hidden gem and I can’t say enough good things about it. The food was incredible, everyone couldn’t stop raving about the chicken and waffles or the salmon. The bar/cocktail hour is awesome, add golf or s’mores for extra fun! Jessica is so easy to work with, she will be by your side making sure you eat dinner while getting the perfect sunset picture! She is the perfect laid back personality you need during the most hectic/special day of your life. Harbor lights is our new favorite spot.. pretty much for life!

We held our wedding at Harbor Lights and it was amazing. From planning to the day of and beyond, the staff was incredibly helpful and wanted to be sure our day was perfect. The food was delicious and the actual space was perfect with options to be inside or outside, lots of windows to not feel boxed in, and a beautiful bridal suite. Not to mention, our pictures from on the grounds are spectacular! I highly recommend using Harbor Lights as a venue for your wedding or other large event. They even have a smaller room that can be used to host showers or other smaller parties!

How do I even put into words how perfect this venue is! From the absolutely breathtaking views, the delicious food to the incredible staff; my expectations were exceeded. Patrick and I got married here on September 27th, 2019 and it was the flawless day. We spent quite a few months searching for our perfect location, and as soon as we pulled in the driveway to Harbor Lights – we turned to each other and said “This is It!”We originally worked with one wedding planner who ended up leaving mid-way through our arrangement; which of course put me on edge and made me extremely nervous but was told another staff would take over – and it was the best thing that could have happened!We met Tie and all of I have to say is this girl is freakin’ OUTSTANDING. From the moment we sat down with her for final meeting to my wedding day; she made sure every little detail was spot on. She immediately put my nerves at ease – gave me her number and told me to text her anytime/about anything. She kept me and my girls cool, calm and collected and made sure my groomsman were behaving themselves. She made my decoration and centerpiece dream come true – not one thing was out of place. The entire day was immaculate.My guests couldn’t and have not stopped raving over this spot! We can’t wait to go back in the spring/summer and enjoy those views from Par & Tackle over and over – and even have some family & friends who can’t wait to join us again!I couldn’t’ be happier with our choice to get married here. It has everything you could want – waterfront, boats, picture perfect sunset and driving range during your cocktail hour! Could you ask for anything better?!

My now husband and i toured Harbor Lights and absolutely fell in love. We booked it on the spot. They fill up fast- there were only 2 Saturdays left a year in advance. The planning process was so easy and Tie Cole (the coordinator) was there every step of the way. They are TRUE professionals and know how to put on a wedding. Our wedding day (July 20, 2019) was 100 degrees and Tie kelt everyone on time, cool, happy, laughing, the list goes on. She escorted us around for pictures on the golf cart and had a cooler full of cold waters and cold towels. She was AMAZING. The wedding went off without a hitch and i can honestly say not one thing went wrong. The staff was on top of everything, everyone raved about the food and atmosphere and the venue was breathtakingly beautiful- simply stunning. I highly recommend Harbor Lights!!

My husband and I were married at Harbor Lights a few weeks ago, and we could not have asked for a better venue. From the planning process to the rehearsal dinner to our actual wedding day, the team was there to answer our questions and give us guidance. Our guests were impressed by the views for the ceremony and reception. We opted to have buckets of balls available for our guests to use the driving range during cocktail hour, which was a big hit- no pun intended. Our family and friends are still raving about the food, especially the passed hors d'oeuvres (I would HIGHLY recommend the Fish and Chips- they will not disappoint)! We also included a Doughnut and Coffee Milk station for dessert, which they also enjoyed.Overall, Harbor Lights is an amazing venue. They allowed us to host the wedding of our dreams- which our guests will be talking about for years to come.

We had an amazing wedding at Harbor Lights. Tie really stepped up to the plate and went above and beyond in her duties! She made me and our entire wedding party feel at ease the entire day, I truly cannot imagine this day without her help and guidance. Not to mention, we had only started working with her just a couple months before our wedding after she had taken over for someone else, she was a breath of fresh air. We had our ceremony and reception on-site. It down poured about an hour before our ceremony, but Tie and the staff worked hard to dry off the chairs and our ceremony took place outside as planned. Harbor Lights also has amazing views of the sunset from the ballroom with its many windows. All of our guests (most are from NY) raved about the food, from the passed hors d’oeuvres to the main entrée, the food was extremely good. The wait staff was also very friendly and attentive, which I noticed myself and also heard from many of our guests. The staff at Harbor Lights truly took care of us and made our day very special.

I could not have asked for a better venue. Jessica was an amazing coordinator she made sure everything was perfect for us. The food was phonemail, everyone complimented it. The views at the venue were perfect and I loved that cocktail hour had both an inside and outside option. Our guests were able to use the driving range and we were able to bring corn hole boards for our guests to use and they loved having those options. I also loved that we were able to take some pictures at the marina! My groom and I loved harbor lights and highly recommend it!

Where do I begin! We had our wedding at Harbor Lights on June 22, 2019. From the day we visited Harbor Lights for our tour, we knew instantaneously that this is where we wanted to get married. We first had Jessica as our coordinator and she did an amazing job getting all of the details and everything we wanted for our big day. Come May of 2019, we received an email, that we would no longer be working with Jessica, but would be working with Tie instead. We have heard countless nightmares about these types of switches and were very nervous about having a new coordinator 1 month before our wedding day. Jessica and Tie had done a TREMENDOUS job communicating to one another and even the smallest details had been given to Tie to make sure we had a smooth transition. Tie did an outstanding job and completely stuck to her word of me just having to show up on the day of the wedding, and she would do the rest. We had a sudden pop-up storm 1 hour before the ceremony but she and the rest of the Harbor Lights staff, reassured me that everything would be fine and we would wait until the last minute before we had to move inside. Once the storm stopped, she transported myself and my husband everywhere we needed to go in a golf cart. She had the answer to every question and was already one step ahead of the game. Harbor Lights was unbelievable and was everything and more than we wanted. If I could do it all again I would. Thank you to Tie, Jessica and the rest of the staff at Harbor Lights for truly making this day the best ever!

From the moment we got a tour of Harbor Lights, we knew this was the venue for us! We had both our ceremony and reception there and everything was perfect! Even though our ceremony had to be held indoors due to rain, it was still beautiful and the water was visible though the many windows. We worked with Jessica from our first meeting all the way through the reception. She was so helpful with all of the planning and details! The ballroom is beautiful and every guest commented on how delicious the food was! During cocktail hour we rented the driving range, which was a big hit! We loved our Harbor Lights wedding!

The entire experience with the staff and venue of Harbor Lights was excellent. Our wedding reception/Happily Ever After celebration was a seemless, well-executed event. Our planner was Hannah, who was extremely detailed and very prompt with all replies. The entire banquet staff, led by Katie and Jake, was top-notch. The room was beautiful and all of my guests had a thoroughly good time. We could not have been treated any better. Exquisite levels of care/attention/service.

My husband and I rented the grand ballroom at harbor lights this past weekend for our baby shower. The venue is beautiful, perfect view from the ballroom, the staff that work at harbor lights from the planning to the actual event are fantastic, the staff really stood out to me, so helpful and nice and really made sure we had everything we needed, always checking on us to ensure everything is perfect. We went with a brunch buffet with a waffle and salmon station it was absolutely delicious! Guests couldn’t stop raving about the gorgeous atmosphere and great food. There is much orchestration to a wedding reception…pictures, introductions, sunsets, meals, etc. Someone has to keep things straight. Hannah and the photographers (Dual Edge) and the DJs (Music Machine) got it all done smoothly without making us feel like we were on a schedule. We had more than enough time to celebrate, but we also got every special moment. And Harbor Lights is the perfect venue to capture those moments. The grounds are beautiful. You will get an incredible sunset. The cocktail room is spacious with a warm, classy vibe. There is a nice patio with furniture off the cocktail room and a small deck off the ballroom. The ballroom is beautiful, and the water and sunset views from the ballroom are breathtaking. The bridal suite is roomy with a spacious private bathroom. This venue has everything you need and a wonderful staff happy to make everything go perfectly. Thank you Harbor Lights for all your help in making our daughter’s wedding wonderful! The Loveleys

Our daughter was married in October 2018 and her reception was at Harbor Lights. We cannot say enough good things about Harbor Lights. The wedding was wonderful thanks to the staff who went out of their way to make the day perfect. Hannah Marshall was our sales representative/event coordinator. From our first meeting Hannah was up-beat and informative and a delight to work with. We had a budget, and she worked her magic to bring us within budget without sacrificing anything we wanted. This was our first wedding, so Hannah acted like a wedding planner answering questions about many things beyond Harbor Lights. If Hannah was not available, her assistant Amanda handled things, and all went very smoothly. During the planning and preparation we felt very comfortable asking questions; we always felt like Harbor Lights was fair with pricing and as interested as we were in having the perfect wedding for our daughter. There were many times that we were very pleasantly surprised that they were happy to accommodate us and that there would be no up charge.The day before the wedding when we dropped off the items we wanted for the reception, Hannah was not available, but she assured us that Jessica would get it all right. And she did! When we arrived at Harbor Lights the next day for the reception and checked out the cocktail room and ballroom, everything was perfect. We did not need to move or rearrange one item. Through the whole process we felt like the staff at Harbor Lights was really invested in making the reception go perfectly and fulfilling our vision and expectations for the wedding.Our bartenders Bruce and Walter were very personable and kept the bar moving. Our dining room captain was Barbara and she introduced herself right away and was so enthusiastic and professional. The waiter assigned to the bride and groom was Thomas. He also introduced himself right away and told us to let him know if we needed anything. Both Barbara and Thomas were always accessible and happy to help with anything we needed. All the wait staff was friendly and cheerful and fantastic at their jobs. They also were very willing to be helpful in any way. The food was incredible. The hors d’oeuvres were delicious. The cheese display was set up very nicely and everything was really tasty. For dinner we had the caprese salad, the sliced tenderloin, green beans and mashed potatoes. The food was hot and the sliced tenderloin was a juicy medium rare. We also did late night snacks . All our guests raved about the food and service. Many thanks to the chef and kitchen staff! For dessert instead of wedding cake, we had cupcakes and Italian pastries from Scialo Brothers Bakery. Harbor Lights set it all up beautifully (no charge) and took it all up a notch by serving the menu included ice cream and berries at the dessert table from a cold crock! Our date was 9/22/2018. We found the venue through Craze, RI event in Providence. We went and scoped out the venue at the Par and Tackle (small 3 season outdoor resturant). We watched the way the staff interacted with the guest and how the service/food was. We booked a tour and happened to have a lady by the name of Katy Johnson tour us through the facility and talk to us about moving foward. She is one of the main reasons we booked with Harbor Lights. The venue is absolutely stunning, growing up on the bay it was special to be married on the coast. Our day was amazing weather mid 70's with a slight breeze. Katy's team handle all obsticales, from our Tree Center Piece arriving and realizing it was a tree, to making sure the 2 grooms sat and ate together at there farmstead table with theor friends/family. We could not ask for a more beautiful location and great flow of tje day from Jessica. Jessica kept us on our time schedule to keep the evening flowing. Everything was perfect! Hannah was easy to work with and was super organized and made sure everything was taken care of. She was very patient in answering my MANY questions leading up to the day :) The day of the wedding, everything ran smoothly and our guests are still raving about how its the best food they've ever had at a wedding. The day of the wedding Hannah made sure my husband and I were shown everything first (the ballroom, the dessert table, etc.). She also made sure we sat down and enjoyed our meal, which was greatly appreciated :) Fantastic views, fantastic service, fantastic food. Literally the perfect venue!

We had a great experience working with Hannah at Harbor Lights for the year leading up to our wedding. After checking out a few venues, we fell in love with the scenery at HL. Hannah was always pleasant and responsive, even when we were stressed or indecisive about silly things. They were flexible and let us make it “our own” with a del lemonade truck and a chocolate foundation . While I was bummed that the weather was less than ideal on our day of, but the crew at HL made the best of our indoor ceremony and we were still able to get some beautiful photos outdoors on the golf course and on the docks. Our guests raved about the food at the wedding.... usually wedding food is mediocre at best but we were very impressed at our tasting and with the food at the wedding. My husband and I are very happy with our choice to have our wedding at Harbor Lights and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a beautiful hidden gem with yummy eats and a friendly staff.

Our wedding at Harbor Lights on 8/25/18 couldn’t have been more incredible! Aside from our luck with the amazing weather we had, we have Harbor Lights and their staff along with all our awesome vendors to thank. Harbor Lights was the most perfect venue for us. We were looking for a beautiful outdoor ceremony location, with an outdoor cocktail hour and an indoor reception, and Harbor Lights has all of this. The view of the ocean and sunset from the windows in the reception hall is pretty awesome too. We worked with Hannah leading up to the wedding and then Jessica joined to help us with the rehearsal and the wedding day. Hannah was so great and helpful, always easy to reach and worked hard to make sure everything was exactly the way we wanted it on the day of. They made everything on our wedding day run smoothly and on time, and I can’t thank them enough! The food was also amazing. Overall, I have only positive things to say about Harbor Lights and I highly recommend them if you are looking for an ocean side wedding!

A lot of our friends told us that when it comes to finding the right venue you “just know”. While looking for venues we noticed that a lot of them had potential but we had to use a little imagination to really see it. We had started losing hope that it would be something “we just knew” and something we would have to figure out. When we got to Harbor Lights we finally had the feeling everyone talked about. We didn’t really need imagination, because the venue itself was beautiful in every way we needed it to be. It has an incredible ceremony spot, beautiful photo opportunities and a reception space that has a classy, clean presentation. For us, the greatest thing about Harbor Lights ended up being the staff. Hannah and the rest of the team were helpful and patient. We always looked forward to our meetings with Hannah because of her great personality, while also providing the reassurance and guidance we needed with some difficult decisions. The bartenders and wait staff were personable with our guests as well as attentive and professional. And we can’t forget to mention how incredible Chef Ray’s meals were. It is in our biased opinion, the greatest meal that we’ve ever had at a wedding. It seemed as though once our day started Harbor Lights took control and made sure we enjoyed ourselves as much as possible. We couldn’t be more thankful to every person there for making our wedding everything we could have dreamed of.

From start to finish a very professional group. We received a lot of comments from our guests saying how wonderful the venue was as well as a couple people wanting to have their wedding there as well. 12/10 stars!

Harbor Lights made our special day perfect! Our wedding was on July 14th of this year and we cannot come up with anything we would change. Harbor Lights staff were amazing. They were polite, energetic, and happy to assist with whatever request thrown at them. Hannah and Barbara were amazing, calming, and flexible. My guest could not get over how beautiful the venue was as well as how delicious the food was. My husband and I rented the driving range for cocktail hour and it was a huge success. We cannot thank Harbor Lights enough for helping create such good memories.

Harbor Lights truly has that classic Rhode Island seaside feel that I really wanted for my wedding at a fraction of the price of comparable venues in Newport. I could say so many positive things- the outdoor ceremony area was stunning on the waterfront with their arbor; my guests had a blast on the driving range during cocktail hour; and the reception ballroom has gorgeous panoramic views and classy modern decor. The food was also AMAZING and I couldn't have been happier with the views for my pictures! My only few complaints were that there was noise from the pool/ tiki bar area that I could hear during the wedding ceremony (which was less than magical) and that sometimes the wedding staff seemed over worked/ spread thin and was not particularly responsive, adding stress to the wedding planning process particularly late in the game. This said, I would still choice Harbor Lights again and can definitely recommend.

This past March my husband and I got married at harbor lights, and it was the best descion we made! Everyone who works there is super kind and professional. My wedding coordinator was Hannah and she did a great job helping me make sure everything was ready to go for the big day. The food was amazing, many of my guests afterwards told me how much they enjoyed the clam chowder. The venue is in a perfect location, and has beautiful sunsets. If you decide to book with harbor lights you will have a great wedding.

Please be sure to double check that they have your wedding date available. In the midst of wedding planning season, we booked an appt to meet with their wedding coordinator jessica whom sat us down, after verifying our date, and then proceeded to tell us that she did not have that date available. She then proceeded to ask us if we were open to changing our date, which we were not. She continued and began to be unprofessional. She pitched other dates to which my fiance finally had to tell her finally we are not open to switching our date. She began to be rude and asked us if we were having trouble finding a venue (we were having a short engagement) to which we stated we were not. She then asked if she could continue to do her sales pitch if we were interested in having our bridal shower/rehearsal dinner here. And then pushed their on site restaurant. Overall, she was young, unprofessional, and wasted our time in a planning seasons where couples know they dont have time to waste. I would not recommend this site and am very upset with our treatment.

My husband and I were married at Harbor Lights on 12/09/17. I researched many reception venues in RI, MA and CT, looking for a beautiful location, with remarkable food and a reasonable cost. My husband and I chose a winter wedding at Harbor Lights after seeing the breathtaking grounds and meeting the very personable staff. From the moment we met Hannah Marshall, our wedding coordinator, she went over every single detail and put our minds at ease. From giving me advice, to answering every single email in a timely manner, to purchasing dairy free ice cream for me (food allergies), and fixing my bustle throughout the night....she made the night perfect. Hannah and the staff at Harbor Lights worked closely with our photographer, DJ and videographer, and their professionalism is unmatched in my opinion. It happened to snow a significant amount on the day of or wedding, and Hannah and the staff made the night safe for all of our guests. Our guests continue to to rave about the beauty of the venue, and the absolutely amazing food. The bar area and outside patio (with a fire pit!) added to the ambiance and gave our guests room to move around. Right down to the restrooms, Harbor Lights is impeccible and our wedding guests were comfortable and wowed. I truly cannot recommend Harbor Lights, and Hannah Marshall, highly enough to do justice to our experience and how pleased we were and are.

I was just married this past Sunday (11.05.17) at Harbor Lights. Not only was the staff (Chef Ray, bartenders, and servers), Wedding Coordinator (Cassy), and Banquet Manager (Kathleen) attentive & easy to work with but the venue was very accommodating overall.Cassy executed my vision flawlessly and continually offered professional advice and was readily available to help anywhere she was needed the day of the event. From the rehearsal the day before, pinning lapel flowers the day of, and decorating my ceremony/reception areas beautifully, to driving our Bridal Party to various different photo locations around the property she was 100% accessible.The food during both cocktail hour & dinner were amazing! We didn't hear a single complaint from anyone nor did anyone leave hungry either...like we all know we do from a lot of weddings; we had some picky eaters too so that's saying a lot. The menu choices are both extensive and eclectic. There is definitely something for everyone within their provided options.The grounds were meticulously maintained and the views alone are enough to make for the best photo options as it sits on an inlet of the bay.*Fun Facts: You can bring your dog for outdoor ceremonies. Your guests can hit golf balls during cocktail hour off the end of the back patio. The bridal suite is large and has a private bathroom for the bride & her party to get ready in which you have access to through the entire event. They use limousine golf carts to chauffeur you & your party around the venue as needed. I can't imagine having had my wedding any where else and still getting the perfect, most special experience of a lifetime that I did! My wife and I just got married at Harbor Lights on 9/16 and can't say enough great things about the venue. The food was awesome, and multiple guests raved about it (especially the antipasto display during cocktail hour). We also got multiple compliments about the staff serving us throughout the night, everyone was very attentive and friendly with our guests. Cassy Bellarose was our wedding coordinator and main point of contact, she was absolutely amazing. She tended to both my and my wife's needs efficiently and enthusiastically. The planning process was hard at first we had gone through a few coordinators at Harbor Lights, but we are so happy Cassy joined the team and was apart of our day. She answered all questions promptly and we valued her opinion on all aspects of the planning process; she was able to deal with all personalities of our wedding party and families and have the day run super smoothly. The only aspect about Harbor Lights that we would recommend changing is they require you to take home your wedding decorations that night (right after the wedding). That just made the end of the night a little stressful for myself and my wife because we had to try to organize everything and get everything into cars. It would have been easier if we could have picked it up the next day.

I can't say enough good things about Harbor Lights. Our wedding coordinator, Cassy, was amazing to work with - she was organized, responsive, and made sure that all of our needs were taken care of. The day of our wedding, the entire staff was amazing to work with - my husband and I felt completely catered to. The food was AMAZING - both the entrees and appetizers. We received so many compliments from our guests. Apart from the service, the venue is absolutely beautiful. The ceremony space on the lawn overlooking the ocean can NOT be beat. The ballroom and bar area are impeccably maintained, with windows looking out towards the ocean. It was everything we wanted an more. We were so thrilled with our decision to choose Harbor Lights!

My husband and I were married at Harbor Lights on June 23rd of this year and it was perfect! The service we received from our wedding planner Cassy and her staff was extraordinary. They really go above and beyond to make sure that the day seems effortless and we felt completely at ease. We were looking for a venue that was something different than the normal venues everyone has been to for wedding receptions while also not breaking the bank and we found it here! Any questions or concerns we had were addressed timely and we never felt stressed out during the planning process. The ballroom and the arbor down by the water were a perfect fit for our nautical themed wedding and the grounds are beautiful offering many different scenes to take pictures. (We took first look pictures out on the golf course by the barn and then down at the marina and then were married under the arbor.) Our guests raved about everything from the beautiful grounds and views the ballroom offered to the service and the food. We had the best experience and couldn't have picked a better venue. I'm so thankful we found Harbor Lights and had the pleasure of working with Cassy and her amazing team! Thank you!!

Hands down Harbor Lights is one of the most beautiful wedding venues. This is definitely the place to go if you want a “Newport” type wedding on the water, without as high of a cost. Our wedding guests raved about the beautiful venue, the delicious food, and the service. We booked our wedding about one year and ten months before the big day. In those months, we went through four different coordinators. Our last one, Cassy, was great! However, because of the constant turnover, some things seemed to fall between the cracks, and were not effectively communicated to the next person. But, overall, this place is amazing and we had the most spectacular wedding!

My husband and I could not have picked a better venue for our reception! We were married in April, and our guests still cannot stop raving about the food! Katy, the Banquet Manager, does an exceptional job and ensures no detail is overlooked. The ballroom features breathtaking views of the water and we were lucky enough to watch a beautiful sunset that night. The staff at Harbor Lights is extremely professional and courteous, and the day of they made sure my husband and I always had something to eat or drink (we were so appreciative, as it's a long day!). The wait staff even joined in to dance with our crazy friends towards the end of the night, and we all had so much fun! I can't recommend this venue enough. The staff are great, the venue is gorgeous, and the price (depending on the season and day of the weekend) can be pretty affordable. It gives you a \"Newport\" feel without the heavy price tag!

There are no words to express the extraordinary the Harbor Lights venue and staff!! The wedding planners go above and beyond to plan, decorate, and make the day flow seamlessly. Our family and friends were so impressed by the venue, the staff, and the food. I heard \"Best Clam Chowder ever\" too many times to count! We did stations at our wedding and it was the best decision we could have made! The pictures came out beautifully because the different locations offered (marina, overlooking the water, in the shade under the trees, on the driving range, in the ballroom, etc). I had 17 bridesmaids and 12 groomsmen, which could have been disasterous but the staff did a great job wrangling the whole crew for an on time ceremony and pictures flawlessly. The reception timeline was all perfect thanks to the staff and our wonderful DJ as well. The food tasting and meetings before the wedding let me know that I had picked the right place as well. The communication with Harbor Lights staff was incomparable, they usually respond to emails very quickly, I think the longest I had to wait for a response was 24 hours and when planning a wedding this is so important! I would recommend this wedding venue to everyone that is getting married!

It has been about a month since our October 1st wedding and we are still on our wedding high. We first toured Harbor Lights and signed with Heather. We were sold on the location, the beautiful ceremony and reception area and the affordability of the venue. We were not keen on Heather at all and we did not think she did HL justice on our tour. A few months into our planning, I emailed Heather and almost immediately received an email back from Tiesha, our new wedding coordinator. I cannot say how much HL has gained from hiring Tie- especially after thinking we would have to deal with Heather. Tie is full of energy, always available for questions and had lots of ideas to bring to the table. Our wedding day was a bit chaotic at the beginning because it was down pouring. Our ceremony was supposed to be outside so I was hesitant to have it inside because that would mean our dog couldn’t be a part of it. After texting Tie almost all morning, she worked it out with her manager that if we did have the ceremony inside, our dog would still be able to make an appearance  It worked out seamlessly and having the plans change did not affect our day at all. A special thanks to the efficiency of all the HL employees scrambling to set up the ceremony indoors.The day of was amazing. Tie and Nicole drove us around the property on their golf cart and were carrying our umbrella and rain boots for photo ops! There were so many beautiful places to take pictures at HL we had so many options it was hard to narrow them down!We have only received positive, raving reviews about the food (chicken piccata and salmon) and the appetizers at cocktail hour. The chef also was able to cater to some of my guests that were vegan.Although it rained, we had them put up a tent outside for cocktail hour so people could still enjoy the scenery and play cornhole outside without being rained on! That was definitely well worth the fee because after dancing all night a lot of our guests enjoyed being able to get some air and hang out outside.Before the wedding, Tie assured us that the Par and Tackle would remain open so after the reception we had a little after-party with about 20-30 people. The bartenders were super friendly and did not seem overwhelmed at all by the amount of people suddenly coming over from the reception. They also stayed open longer than usual since we were all having such a good time near the fire!I cannot say any more great things about Harbor Lights. I would recommend this venue to any bride out there. They definitely surpassed all of our expectations 

I just had my wedding at Harbor Lights on 10/9 and it was fantastic! We actually booked the venue 2 years before the wedding because we knew it was the place we wanted. Leading up to the wedding it was so easy to talk to the staff and they responded quickly to my emails (which at the end there were a lot of them). The coordinator we worked with (Tiesha) was so on top of things and she was easy to work with. And even with the craziness of the wedding day, she was very attentive and checked in on us multiple times to make sure we were doing ok.And I feel like we got a lot of bang for the buck with Harbor Lights. Compared to most venues in RI, it was so affordable and we got a lot out of it. The food options were great (our guests were raving about it all night) and they accommodated all of the food allergies we had. The inside of the venue (and outside if you can do the outdoor ceremony/tent wedding) are beautiful. I would suggest Harbor Lights to anyone I know planning their wedding right now.

I got married at Harbor Lights in October 2016 and had the best day of my life. Tiesha is the absolute best to work with. She's super professional, has a contagiously fun personality and is extremely thorough. I was constantly emailing her with questions from the day we put our deposit down until the day before the wedding; she'd even respond on her days off. We got married on-site and it was spectacular. I never felt like I had to micro-manage anything because Tie had it all under control. At the rehearsal, I found out the speaker system wouldn't be able play off of my iPad due to their system's cord not functioning properly. That night, Tiesha went shopping to get what she needed to make it work for me. Everyone kept asking 'where are you going to take photos?' and my answer was always, Harbor Lights! You have the choice of the beautiful water, the greens, beautiful trees, a barn, and other backdrops that provide amazing photos. I can't say enough great things about my experience getting married at Harbor Lights. It felt like getting married in Newport, but more convenient and slightly more affordable :)

Harbor Lights was the PERFECT venue for our May 7th wedding!!! Since all our guests were from out of town, we wanted to show them a \"taste of Rhode Island\" with an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception, and the space right next to the harbor/docks is absolutely gorgeous for the ceremony and pictures. HL also had the best rain \"back-up plan\" with plenty of room in the ballroom if necessary. We also wanted something newer and modern looking and didn't like any of the other RI venues because they were too traditional. We booked almost 2 years in advance (we had a long engagement) and got very lucky to negotiate a great price before this \"newish\" venue (name & management recently changed) got too popular. However, over the course of those 2 years, the management/staff changed 3 times and we were a little worried. Brie Dion ended up being our final Sales & Event Manager (and day-of coordinator), and she and the rest of the HL staff were absolutely fantastic and hopefully there to stay! Their new food and bar packages are also very reasonable, the food was amazing, and we feel like we got a great value for our money so it all worked out for the best. Book early, and I promise you won't regret having your wedding ceremony and/or reception here!!!

Our wedding was held at Harbor Lights on 8/13/16. Tiesha (Tie) was our first contact at Harbor Lights and we were sold during our first visit. Tie was so much more than a reception coordinator, she was our saving grace on our wedding day. It was a hot day and she was always there with a cool towel or some cold water to keep us hydrated. She made sure everything ran according to schedule, which I now know is a tough task! Our guests loved Harbor Lights and raved about the stunning views, the elegant ballroom, and excellent food and staff. We definitely made the right decision when we chose Tiesha and Harbor Lights.

Our wedding day 5-21-16 and wedding season was amazing and we couldn't of asked for a better team than harbor lights. Tiesha the sales manager aka \"bride manager\" did a amazing job. She is friendly, calming yet energetic, knowledgeable and can make your entire wedding planning season enjoyable. Tiesha, we can't thank you enough for everything, your time and efforts did not go unnoticed!! I would recommend you to any future brides. Thank you thank you for going above and beyond. A special thank you to all the behind scenes staff and management.. although not seen - it does take a team to make it happen and harbor lights definitely made it happen. As for the food, we have received 100percent positive feedback that the food was delicious and on time!!! I must say harbor lights accommodated for an entire gluten free wedding. (the bride is on a strict gluten free diet for medical reasons and wanted everyone to eat gf :) and they did and loved it! If you can dream it they will make it happen. Food allergies and all. We have a great experience with the latest harbor lights team. Bravo guys, thank you again we will never forget 5.21.16 <3 thank you again for our gluten free wedding :)

Harbor Lights.......there is no wonder you have captured every award known to the industry. From the moment we stepped into the venue a year and a half ago, we knew we found home. The amazing staff performed with such professionalism and direction it was a sight to see......not to mention their dancing skills!! The chef and kitchen staff.....totally shined......the set-up crew and everyone made us feel like they were not working, but presenting their individualism with every napkin they placed to the final clean up. The tremendous pace of the bar staff, keeping up with this group is no easy task, but you did it with such grace and honor, it was a pleasure to watch. The management, from Katie to Maggie, strong dedicated women who were so instrumental in the direction provided and insight given you two will be in our hearts for a very long time. Lastly but certainly not least, Tiesha Cole. For without you, our special day would have been just a day. You are an amazing women who stepped up to the challenge of putting together such a wonderful event it goes without saying you are possibly the best asset any facility could have. your never ending energy, matched by your desire for perfection showed at every task. From day one, you made us feel as friends and not paying customers. Each and every obstacle we put in front of you, you took it on and made it your own. Nothing we requested was not met with absolutely Bo/Clare, and then completed! Our event was spot on and we can not thank you enough. When they say expect the unexpected for your wedding, they are not kidding!! 6 hours before our tent wedding at Harbor Lights on what appeared to be a sunny day, tornado and severe thunderstorms were headed to hit our region. On that day, it was Katy and her crew that turned what could have been a disaster into what friends and family described as being one of the most beautiful, intimate weddings. From being zipped around in a golf cart from one end of the place to another to grab as many pics as we could before the weather set in (although we need to check Katy's license to drive a golf cart 😉), to the bridal suite hopping with everything we could have needed. Behind the scenes you have Katy and Maggie, who together share a tremendous amount of experience and can offer guidance when you would like a little help w a decision. They allowed so much creativity in planning our menu with food stations that people loved! Thank you Harbor Lights!!

My husband and I were married at Harbor Lights on July 2, 2016. As many reviews have stated, I went through 3 different wedding coordinators throughout my time at Harbor Lights. I have to say, I am overjoyed with Tiesha, the coordinator that made my wedding day magical. Besides the many wedding coordinator switches, I was VERY pleased with Harbor Lights. The food was fantastic. The service was awesome. The star of the show was Tiesha and her team (Bri, etc.) Tie executed my wedding perfectly. I literally dropped off my bins the day of the rehearsal and prayed that everything would be set up beautifully and how I envisioned it. Tie blew me away with her attention to detail. I have to give a shout out to her team for helping my mom when her dress ripped less than an hour before the ceremony. They quickly sewed it together and made everything seamless. Harbor Lights is a beautiful venue with an amazing staff and view. I HIGHLY recommend this venue!!

I had my wedding on 6/3/2106 and overall it was a beautiful day. The venue is gorgeous and as soon as I stepped foot in the place I knew it was meant for us. As mentioned in previous reviews, the coordinators changed 3 times between our booking date and wedding date. That was frustrating and it was difficult to get in contact with any of them. As a bride, it is stressful enough to begin with and since it's my first time planning a wedding I felt like I should have had more guidance and a better outline of what to expect. I was the one emailing about said 'deadlines' and payments due.The biggest thing was my decor. I had a lot of diy decorations for my wedding and Brie said she would take care of it all as far as set up. Along with my florist they set up the venue as I had described. My place cards went 'missing' for a while which lead to my frustration as I knew I had packed them. They were eventually found in the bathroom but not before I called family members to search my house (an hour away) and started thinking of a plan B. One of our tables during the reception was not set up for the correct amount of people. During my first dance I cringed when I looked over and saw 2 of my guests sitting on pulled up chairs to one of the tables. I looked back at my numbers and realized I had done the math correctly and whoever set the table up was at fault. That was handled without any further issue but felt bad for my guests as they felt forgotten. Lastly, what I am most disappointed in was how my belongings were treated after my wedding. I was asked MULTIPLE times what I wanted to do with my decorations and every time I responded with wanting EVERYTHING packed up in the boxes and totes I brought them in. After returning from my honeymoon many of my items were missing. After getting in contact with the coordinator and setting up a meeting time to pick up the rest, still some things were missing. I was told 'maintenance' would be contacted to see if anything was left behind. I never heard back and clearly it wasn't a priority for them to look any further. I would assume these things were thrown out the night of without my knowledge. If these decorations came from an outside vendor I assure you they wouldn't have been 'misplaced' and definitely not thrown out. I worked hard on planning my wedding and expected to take home my belongings. Overall, I would recommend the venue but solely for the location. It's beautiful and your guests will surely remember it.

I cannot say enough great things about my experience at Harbor Lights! We had our ceremony and reception there on 5/20/16. The venue is beautiful! It has been recently renovated and was done so well! Brie, one of the Sales and Events Managers, was my main point of contact. She obviously has a great passion for her job and weddings, and that came through in everything she did. Prior to my wedding, every interaction I had with her was easy, and accommodating. The day of, she was everything I expected and more. She wore so many hats that day, from event manager, (the VERY tough job of keeping EVERYONE happy :), to child wrangler, (she was AMAZING with my Ring Bearer, (age 3) and Flower Girl, (age 5), to just a great support, the day would never had gone so well if she wasn't there. I would be remiss if I didn't also commend Katie, the Banquet Manager, who has such an amazing staff, that many members of my family who have worked in the service industry, have been raving about what a great job they did as well. Every server was not only attentive, but also seemed to genuinely like their job. I must also mention the other Event Manager, Ty, who was also so great to deal with. Her and Brie obviously work as a great team and are such great assets to Harbor Lights. My husband and I highly recommend Harbor Lights for any large event.

I WAS interested in possibly having my wedding reception at this location. I tried 3 different times to get in contact with someone about getting more information on the facility and nobody ever got back to me. Not the best customer service. If that's how they run their business then I don't want any part of having my wedding reception there.

I had my daughters bridal shower here. The room was elegant, the food was great, the staff bent over backwards even helping to load the gifts as well as shuttling the guests to their cars via a golf cart. We were very happy the venue. I have no reservations recommending this facility!! I wished we had known about this before we booked the wedding venue!

Harbor Lights was the perfect backdrop to our ridiculously fun and wonderful wedding. Way back in January 2015 it was love at first walk-thru. From the impeccable grounds to the Ocean State-friendly marina and of course the insanely gorgeous and modern ballroom we knew Harbor Lights was for us. For couples, like us, who go to tons of weddings at the same venues you know the struggle is real- you want to dare to be different! The majority of our guests had never been to Harbor Lights before and they couldn't get over the quality of the food (people are still texting me about how great it was) the professional and amazing staff (they really honored our request to be prompt so that we would have more time for dancing) and of course the Instagram/no-fiilter worthy sunset photo opportunities. Not to be outdone is their amazing set-up, decor and dance floor. I want to live in their huge bridal suite, by the way. Brie, the coordinator was exceptional when it came to meeting our needs leading up to the big day. On the day itself Brie actually was the one to drive us around on a golf cart with the photographers to take full advantage of their grounds. While my bridal party and i were having a little bit of #BustleProblems Brie took the time to help me with my hair! She saved the day when it came to my hot mess of a head and brought me back to bridal life. Maggie and Katie- what can i say- they made sure every need of ours was met when it came to food, bar and overall service. If you want financially obtainable true Ocean State glam then you need Harbor Lights. They truly exceeded all of our wedding day expectations.
