My husband and I had the pleasure of hosting our wedding reception at Harry Caray's. We were in search of a venue that had ample space for 280-300 people with quality food and service. Harry Caray's lived up to all our expectations. Nina was amazing to work with. She answered all of my million of questions about decor options, room sizing, and other details whenever something would come up. She was always present for us before and during our wedding reception. She helped make my dream space come true. The food was excellent and well within our budget. We outsourced a stage and bigger dance floor but everything else was brought in by Harry Caray's which was super helpful. I wish I could have the day all over again!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Looking for the right venue is overwhelming and doing it during COVID made it even more challenging. We toured and talked with a lot of venues but as soon as we walked into the ballroom here and were guided by our coordinator Nina, I knew this was the place. Nina was our coordinator and she was a life saver in all the wedding haze. She was calm, very responsive with good positive energy, and any time I had questions she either had the answer or found a solution to the problem. I cannot say enough good things about her. She was there from the day of the tour to the day of our reception with flawless precision. If something happened that wasn’t suppose to, I had no clue, everything was perfect. The process was very organized - once we set the date and reserved the ball room, Nina contacted me for each step along the way. The tasting was fun and delicious. Nina walked us through the planning and as the days got closer even checked in on us to see if she can do anything. On the day of event, the staff had everything mostly set up by the time I came to take a look. We were able to drop off everything I wanted set up the night before. And Nina was even there double checking everything and checking with us constantly if there was anything else. All of our guests complimented the look of the venue and raved about the food. To this day people still come up to me to tell me how good the food was.

We had our wedding at Harry Caray's in Lombard in October 2021. We could not have been happier with our reception and how flawless the day ran thanks to our event coordinator, Arin Smidt. From my first email exchange with Arin, I knew Harry Caray's was where our reception needed to be. Arin was super easy to connect with and paid attention to every little detail while helping us plan our reception. On the day of the event, Arin made sure all the vendors worked seamlessly together and made sure every part of the night stayed according to schedule. She was attentive to the whole room and also made sure my husband and I were fed during cocktail hour! Not only was Arin great, but also the banquet staff at Harry Caray's were also very diligent in their work, including the bartenders and wait staff. The service was impeccable. Everyone is still talking about how amazing the food and drinks were! We honestly cannot say enough great things about Arin and the team at Harry Caray's. We will definitely be back for future events! Thank you for making our day more than we could have ever imagined!!

We were about to give up and decided to give it one last try with Harry Carays. My sister had her reception here 12 years ago, and we had a fantastic experience. This time around it was nothing less. Arin, the coordinator, was amazing. She is honest, caring, and prompt. She promised me our reception would happen and made it perfect with just 2 months to plan it. The room is incredibly classy, and the food is the best wedding food I’ve ever had. So much is included in the wedding package and the best part is the price for it all. They are incredibly reasonable considering the high quality of the event. Everything was so easy and seamless, it allowed very little work on the couples end. I will continue to recommend this beautiful experience forever! Thank you for making our dream finally come true!

I would recommend Harry Caray’s to anyone looking to host a wedding or event. Arin went above and beyond to make our day special. She was extremely professional and kind. She answered all our questions in a timely manner. We needed to postpone our wedding due to Covid and she made a difficult situation feel easy and stress free. Seeing the venue on our wedding day took my breath away. Everything was beautiful and perfectly set up. It truly exceeded all expectations. Arin was present and available from the start of the day to coordinate with our vendors and stayed until after dinner to ensure everything ran smoothly. The food was outstanding and came out in a timely manner. We ate during speeches and dinner was served and cleared within an hour which allowed us to maximize time on the dance floor! I would not have changed a single thing about our big day!

We got married June 5th and had our reception at Harry’s. We were tasked with planning,rescheduling, and planning again our wedding during the pandemic. Thankfully Arin came in to the Lombard location as the wedding coordinator in the midst of all this. She was a godsend and could not have been more helpful or accommodating. We were lucky restrictions had eased by our new date but Arin was very creative and helpful in making this reception not only normal but one for the record books. Everyone had such a great time and we could not have dreamed of more. The ballroom looked beautiful and the patio setup was perfect. There were essentially no issues throughout the night and went off without a hitch. Big thanks to Harry’s and Arin for making our big day what we always imagined it to be. I Highly recommend considering this location for your event large or small. Also forgot to mention, the food is fantastic!

We could not be happier that we discovered Harry's Ballroom for our daughter's wedding May 30, after being cancelled twice before in 2020 due to COVID. From the first time we met with Arin Smidt, the catering director, we knew we were in good hands. Arin truly made the wedding plans and decisions so easy for us. She was available to answer all of our questions and entertain any of our ideas as we also had the ceremony there as well as the reception. She is a bubbly, energetic, lovely person who made us feel well taken care of in planning this event. Then there is the staff, every last person we met over the weeks and weeks of planning until the day of the wedding were attentive to our needs and made it all seem so easy. Wish we could have seen the action in the kitchen, what a team they have there, I heard the comment, \"best wedding dinner ever!\" again and again with a menu that included filet, salmon, & pasta.Harry's Ballroom is a lovely room that has a contemporary feel to it with floor to ceiling windows that open out onto a terrace, perfect for cocktails. The room doesn't feel formal or stuffy but does feel upscale and elegant, yes, even with the baseball theme :) Our young bride & groom loved the room!We highly recommend Harry Caray's and their catering team led by Arin Smidt for any special event. I booked with the Harry Caray ballroom over 2 years ago to plan for my 2020 wedding....From the beginning I knew this place was amazing but as time passed they surpassed all my expectations on planning a wedding. The room itself is VERY spacious and the food is delicious! The patio is also a major plus that sits on a beautiful pond that creates a lovely backdrop for guests to take pictures.When the pandemic forced venues to close their doors Harry Caray called me right away to let me know the upsetting news. From there the process began of trying to postpone my wedding to a new date this year. Arin, the sales manager, worked with me and kept me updated every step of the way and made sure I knew that if I needed anything she was there.Arin especially did an amazing job making sure everything was perfect for my wedding even though the pandemic forced us to cut the guest lists down. Tables were arranged to comply with social distancing.I wouldn't change one thing about my wedding thanks to Arin and the amazing staff at the Harry Caray!

Words cannot express how happy I was with the wedding services provided through Harry Caray’s (HC). To this day, our guests cannot stop talking about the food. HC is unique in that we were able to offer our guests either a beef, fish, chicken, or veggie entrée. It should go without saying that the steak is to die for. However, as someone who has many vegetarian friends, I have to put in a shout out for the vegetarian options. Overall, the food quality extends well beyond traditional banquet food that you would typically see served in a hotel/banquet hall setting.In addition to the food, the ballroom is beautiful, the prices are competitive, and it is hard to overlook the CONVENIENCE that having a wedding at HC offers. There is a Target literally next door to the venue. Now, I do realize that the last thing that anyone has on their mind when booking a wedding venue is where the nearest convenience store is, but this was a lifesaver for last-minute essentials. Besides this, there are really cool places you can get photos on the HC premises (i.e. the restaurant bar, the wine racks, the pathway overlooking the pond/fountain). And although I didn’t do it for my wedding, the terrace that the ballroom leads out to is perfect for those famous sparkler photos. In addition, it is worth mentioning that it is about a 10-minute drive from the Morton Arboretum, another great place for bridal party portraits. Another really great feature of HC is that it is connected to the Westin, Lombard. You don’t have to worry about guests having to drive to another location when the event is over. HC also offers the bride and groom a suite on the night of the wedding and a discount on brunches held the day after a wedding. The brunch food is amazing and HC assures that you have privacy with your guests by allocating your event to a large, clean, gorgeous private room in the restaurant.I could go on and on about the perks of having a wedding at HC, but the biggest outlier that really set the bar was our wedding coordinator, Arin. I had gone through 3 wedding coordinators over the course of our wedding planning process at HC, and Arin was, by far, the best/easiest person we could have worked with. Although she came into her position in the last 2 months before our wedding, Arin was OUTSTANDING, making it a point to address all of my questions in a timely manner and working with me to make all of my dreams a reality. Any bride would naturally be nervous about acquiring a new wedding coordinator 2 months out from a wedding, but Arin’s confidence and organizational skills really set her apart in reassuring me that everything would be taken care of. And she didn’t just make sure that things were taken care of...she made sure that they were taken care of the right way. Quality is everything, and this is clearly the motto that HC upholds in its services. Arin made it a point to introduce herself to my family, and she made sure that my father had his whiskey sours throughout the entire night. She was more than accommodating in being available to meet with me when I would call her at random times, even after our event, so that I could pick up items forgotten at the venue. Arin certainly went above and beyond for our wedding, and she shows how much she genuinely cares by reaching out to say hi and sending warm wishes post-wedding. I would work with her again in a heartbeat. Everything was seamless...exactly how it should be on one of the biggest days in your life.

Words cannot express how happy I was with the wedding services provided through Harry Caray’s (HC). To this day, our guests cannot stop talking about the food. HC is unique in that we were able to offer our guests either a beef, fish, chicken, or veggie entrée. It should go without saying that the steak is to die for. However, as someone who has many vegetarian friends, I have to put in a shout out for the vegetarian options. Overall, the food quality extends well beyond traditional banquet food that you would typically see served in a hotel/banquet hall setting.In addition to the food, the ballroom is beautiful, the prices are competitive, and it is hard to overlook the CONVENIENCE that having a wedding at HC offers. There is a Target literally next door to the venue. Now, I do realize that the last thing that anyone has on their mind when booking a wedding venue is where the nearest convenience store is, but this was a lifesaver for last-minute essentials. Besides this, there are really cool places you can get photos on the HC premises (i.e. the restaurant bar, the wine racks, the pathway overlooking the pond/fountain). And although I didn’t do it for my wedding, the terrace that the ballroom leads out to is perfect for those famous sparkler photos. In addition, it is worth mentioning that it is about a 10-minute drive from the Morton Arboretum, another great place for bridal party portraits. Another really great feature of HC is that it is connected to the Westin, Lombard. You don’t have to worry about guests having to drive to another location when the event is over. HC also offers the bride and groom a suite on the night of the wedding and a discount on brunches held the day after a wedding. The brunch food is amazing and HC assures that you have privacy with your guests by allocating your event to a large, clean, gorgeous private room in the restaurant.I could go on and on about the perks of having a wedding at HC, but the biggest outlier that really set the bar was our wedding coordinator, Arin. I had gone through 3 wedding coordinators over the course of our wedding planning process at HC, and Arin was, by far, the best/easiest person we could have worked with. Although she came into her position in the last 2 months before our wedding, Arin was OUTSTANDING, making it a point to address all of my questions in a timely manner and working with me to make all of my dreams a reality. Any bride would naturally be nervous about acquiring a new wedding coordinator 2 months out from a wedding, but Arin’s confidence and organizational skills really set her apart in reassuring me that everything would be taken care of. And she didn’t just make sure that things were taken care of...she made sure that they were taken care of the right way. Quality is everything, and this is clearly the motto that HC upholds in its services. Arin made it a point to introduce herself to my family, and she made sure that my father had his whiskey sours throughout the entire night. She was more than accommodating in being available to meet with me when I would call her at random times, even after our event, so that I could pick up items forgotten at the venue. Arin certainly went above and beyond for our wedding, and she shows how much she genuinely cares by reaching out to say hi and sending warm wishes post-wedding. I would work with her again in a heartbeat. Everything was seamless...exactly how it should be on one of the biggest days in your life.

My daughter had her wedding ceremony and reception at Harry Caray's Ballroom Saturday April 6. It was wonderful!!! Will try and breakdown the major contributing factors:Our Catering Sales Manager, Beth. She worked with us every step of the way, and I can honestly say she made the process stress-free, which resulted in a very calm bride! Beth was knowledgeable, professional, responsive and helpful. After our first meeting she completely understood what our vision for this wedding was, and did an outstanding job not letting us get lost or overwhelmed in the process. Every bit of advice she gave us from the very start turned out to be 100% spot on. My daughters wedding would not have been as seamless without Beth.The space was perfect for this wedding. Both the ceremony and reception were held in the ballroom. I was afraid with almost 200 guests we would be crammed in the sectioned off ceremony space, but I was wrong. My daughter had a backdrop brought in from an outside vendor, it did add to the ambienceof the reception. With a brief break between ceremony and reception we returned for cocktail hour. The room looked amazing!!!! Beth took the time to bring the bride and groom in to see it first - they were thrilled. I liked the fact that the tables were not right on top of each other, it was a very comfortable set up for a wedding this size. The dance floor seemed to be a good size, lots of dancing but not too crowded.There were 6 of us at the tasting several months ago, and obviously that gave us a good idea of what to expect as far as the food goes. I need to mention Beth and her assistant made that a private party - fun night out for our group! To be honest I only tried a couple of the hors d'oeuvres at the reception, they were both very good. Corn chowder and a mixed green salad were also very good, but the feedback on the pork chop as well as the filet have been amazing! I have already heard from several guests that there filets were just perfect, and mine was too. There were more than a couple foodies amongst the guests, and they really loved that pork chop (just as Beth told us they would). The service at the table was very attentive, no issues with servers.The bartenders did a good job keeping up, something I was concerned about and turns out I didn't need to be. Safe to say if you are reading this you can tell we could not have been happier with our daughter's wedding at Harry Caray's Lombard. The only negative thing is that it's over.

Harry's Ballroom was stunning. We had 240 guests and the full room was the perfect size. The food was fantastic with generous portions. The staff was professional and attentive. Henry our coordinator was so amazing. He helped us make every detail perfect and just as we imagined it. We had a lot--photo booth, candy table, cigar bar, late night snack, projection slideshow, memory table--and Henry made it all work. And a sizable dance floor! I couldn't say enough--Harry Caray's and the Westin Hotel was my dream wedding.

One of the biggest reasons we chose to have our wedding at Harry Caray’s was how amazingly helpful and accommodating Beth was when we initially went to check out the venue. During our planning process, we worked with Beth and Alyssa, who both were so incredible with communication and getting back to our emails and phone calls so quickly. Any idea or recommendation we asked for, they found a way to make it work for us!Leading up to our wedding day, we worked with Alyssa who helped us with multiple meetings including our food tasting and linen choices. She let us drop off our decorations a week early and went through all the final details of our day. Alyssa even contacted all of our vendors the week before our wedding to coordinate everything with them. She attended our rehearsal to make sure everything went smoothly on our day, and she helped us set up a “happy hour” after our rehearsal at the Harry Caray’s Bar. I felt so calm and relaxed knowing that I could count on Alyssa to take care of everything for us. On the day of our wedding, she had all of our decorations set up beautifully. She checked in with us throughout the night to make sure we had everything we needed. She even left a plate of all of our appetizers at our wedding table because she knew we would be too busy to have them during our cocktail hour. After the wedding, she collected all of our decorations and kept them for me until I could pick them up later in the week. She even kept the top tier of our cake to give to us!I also loved the set up of the Harry Caray’s Ballroom including the large room, high ceilings with floor to ceiling windows, and walkout terrace with a fire pit that we used for our cocktail hour. The chairs and decor of the room was tasteful and classy, and we loved the black and white old Wrigley Field photos on the walls. It was very convenient having the Westin Hotel attached. We also had breakfast in the Harry Caray’s restaurant the morning after our wedding. Every staff member (ballroom and restaurant/bar) that we encountered during our wedding weekend was also so professional, helpful, and provided the best quality service. From start to finish, we had the best experience having our wedding at Harry Caray’s. Alyssa and her staff completely exceeded our expectations and I would recommend this venue to anyone!

Every staff member (ballroom and restaurant/bar) that we encountered during our wedding weekend was also so professional, helpful, and provided the best quality service. From start to finish, we had the best experience having our wedding at Harry Caray’s. Alyssa and her staff completely exceeded our expectations and I would recommend this venue to anyone!

Harry Caray's blew me away with my wedding this past weekend! I received countless compliments on how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was. Not to mention, Alyssa was absolutely AMAZING to work with! She was so organized and even acted as a \"day-of wedding coordinator\" by making sure everything went smooth with all of my vendors! I HIGHLY recommend Harry Caray's and Alyssa!

We just got married on NYE. Beth Jostes was our wedding coordinator. She and her staff did an amazing job. They were very accommodating and did anything we asked of them. The venue was beautiful, the food was delicious and the night was perfect! I couldn't have asked for a better place to get married!

We had our wedding reception at the Harry Caray's ballroom in Lombard this past September and absolutely loved it! Beth was so easy to work with, and everything came together perfectly. The space was absolutely gorgeous, and everyone loved the outdoor cocktail hour overlooking the water. The food was incredible and the service was great too! Many of our guests stayed at the Westin that is attached with our room block which worked out great. Wish we could do it again! Highly recommend this venue!

They are great at letting you bring in your own centerpieces, favors, and decorations. They took all the little things I had envisioned and made them perfect, to the lanterns outside to the decor on the cocktail tables to even the cigars and matches on the bar. They were truly fabulous and made it an evening never to forget.

From the moment we walked into Harry Caray's venue we were impressed by the beautiful room. The wall of windows makes the room so bright and feel so open. Our wedding guests raved about the outdoor cocktail hour and about how much they loved having the balcony throughout the reception. The food was unbelievable too! Everything at our wedding was so delicious. I loved their ceviche and when I couldn't find it at the cocktail hour the waitress brought me and my husband a whole plate to enjoy. We are still getting complements from all of our guests about the food and hospitality at Harry Caray's!\r\rNot only was the venue amazing but working with Danny was a true blessing! He was so patient and helpful. I currently live out of state so finding times to meet for me are difficult. Danny was always so accommodating to our schedules. I had many different items for him to set up on our wedding day and he was very calm and understanding about everything. I felt so at ease knowing he was running the day. Everything turned out beautiful and perfect thanks to Danny's help!
