Managers Allie and Drew Dunham represent the current generation of Dunhams that operate the Heritage Barn. The estate’s history stretches back over a century when it was established by Alpha Dunham as a livestock farm. It has since evolved, and the family has decided to open the doors of their homestead to those seeking comfort and style for their celebration. The property stretches over 200 acres, featuring undulating hills that allow for panoramic views of Chenango Valley. It is removed enough to feel like a private retreat, but the property’s history will make you feel like a part of its community. Two farmhouses are located on the homestead where you can prepare in tranquility for your big day. These comfortable lodgings can also be used by the wedding party and their guests that wish to spend the night after their celebration. I don’t think I could say enough great things about this venue! The location is beautiful and the barn itself is stunning. Everyone at Heritage Barn was beyond helpful on our wedding day. When we had to change plans because of weather Allie was on top of things and very communicative. I couldn’t have picked a better place for our Wedding.

Allie and her team at the Heritage Barn are fabulous. The barn is gorgeous and they maintain everything to the T. Allie is also a great visionary and creative partner to execute beautiful events with all of the perfect details. Bonus: she will also do your flowers and WOW!

Allie was amazing to work with! She responded quickly to any questions I had and helped recommend photographers, hair and make up when I was struggling to find some. The barn and the grounds were amazing for photos and beautifully kept.

We were married at Heritage Barn June 18, 2022. It was an absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. We were able to rent out all three houses that they offer and used Silo Flower Co. (Allie) for our florals. Having everything right on site was perfect for us and allowed us to be surrounded by our closest friends and family for the whole weekend. I would highly recommend having an event here, the whole Dunham family supports you every step of the way. AND! We were able to have our dog, Dailey with us. 10/10.

Beautiful reception venue. They offered a lot of extras that helped tremendously in the planning process, for example, tables & chairs, galvanized buckets for drinks, stringed lighting for ambience. Overall just a gorgeous venue.

We got married at Heritage Barn on Sunday, September 4, 2022 and we can’t recommend it enough! We really hope someone we know gets married there and that we’re invited so we can go back (haha!) The Dunham’s, especially Allie and Mari, were amazing! They made us feel so comfortable and they really took the time to ensure we had everything we needed to make our weekend perfect. From early stage planning and multiple tours of the venue, to handling our flowers and the day of coordination; they were there. Allie even went above and beyond to assist last minute with our after party. We brought in a lot things on our own like, linens, silverware, decor, etc. so having the option to do an early set up at the barn the day before was awesome! We (and our wedding party) rented the farmhouse the night before. It was perfect for the little cookout/rehearsal dinner we had with our family and friends and for getting ready in the morning. We can’t wait to get our photos back so we can see how beautiful and memorable this venue made our wedding day. A big thank you to the Dunham Family!

This venue is beautiful and exactly what I was looking for at an affordable price. The grounds are stunning and it was so nice to be able to have all the wedding events in one place and stay on site. Allie is so organized down to every detail and Mari knows exactly what needs to be done and is so helpful throughout the event. After spending over a year planning a wedding you hope it’s everything you dreamed of and our wedding at the heritage barn was all of that and more. Our friends and family had an amazing time and everything was exactly as planned. It was a memorable weekend for sure. If you’re looking for an outdoor upstate ny wedding venue, don’t look any further. We wouldn’t change a thing. Thank you so much Dunham family!!

The Heritage Barn is a truly special place. Not only do you have two beautiful homes on the property for you and your guests to stay at, but then there's the barn itself. When you walk into the barn, it is breathtaking. On top of that, getting to know the Dunham's and the history of their property was icing on top of the wedding cake! We would recommend any couple looking to have a unique, supportive, and beautiful venue to have it at The Heritage Barn.

Allie is absolutely wonderful; and the fact she know does flowers wants me to give it 10 stars! We had multiple meetings and walk throughs before our wedding and Allie was nothing but kind and helpful. On the day of she coordinated everything and helped with timing and whatever else we needed. Having our wedding at heritage barn really took a lot of stress away. Not to mention the barn and property is a absolutely amazing- there are various places for pictures and where to hold the ceremony. No matter rain or shine this is the place to be!

Allie Dunham (Owner) I'm Allie! My brother, Drew, and I are the current generation of over 200 years of Dunhams to work on our family farm and the ones behind the Heritage Barn. My background is in business but I have quickly fallen in love with weddings! I have always been creative and as I have been more involved in the wedding industry, I have learned more about the planning and decoration process and it's totally my thing! I am here to help you with your big day! The Dunham Homestead is our heritage and we have so much passion for the property and our family history. We can't wait to share it's charm with you!
