This was the best venue from beginning to end, the planning staff was amazing, the event staff felt like they were apart of the guests which made it so much better, they were kind and caring, they went out of their way to make it a fun and exciting day, from offering water and to the kind comments, to serving us with absolute love and being exactly who we needed them to be. They could not have done anything different.. from the planners to the security staff even the grounds crew.. each and every one of you made this day the perfect day!! Reviewed on 24-10-2023

All of the staff at the Heritage Center we great to work with, especially our consultant Stacey! Our ceremony on the Courtyard and reception in the Garden City Ballroom were both beautiful; I highly recommend! Our wedding reception in the Garden City Ballroom for around 200 guests with buffet dinner was a big success!!! Our sales coordinator Stacey was patient with the zillion questions we had and our captains Rita and Debbie made sure all was executed to plan. The food was delicious and we received tons of compliments from our guests. I am still dreaming of the vegan chocolate truffles âthey were amazing. The plentiful parking and proximity of Embassy and Fairfield hotels added a lot of convenience for our out-of-town guests. We are pleased that we used this venue and would highly recommend it to others. Sophia Brunner(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 15-10-2022 I could not be happier with my experience at The Heritage Center! My wedding reception was beautiful and went so smoothly. It was an absolute pleasure working with our coordinator, Ali, who was attentive, flexible, and so very considerate. She is so on top of everything and genuinely cared about giving us the perfect wedding we envisioned. I would absolutely recommend this venue and working with her! Our reception captain, Debbie, was also super amazing and kept everything running perfectly. The whole staff was exceptional. Our guests kept raving about the appetizers, meals, and desserts the Heritage Center provided. I have never tasted wedding food that good! The bar and bartender was awesome - there were so many more options than I am used to being offered at other weddings. The grounds and the room we booked photographed beautifully for our fall wedding, and we were allowed to add our own personal style to the room as well. Anne DeVries(other)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 24-09-2022 Where to begin?? Ali Beadle walked us through our entire experience planning and carrying out my daughterâs wedding on September 24, 2022. How she maintains her genuine interest and enthusiasm for the many brides and mothers of the brides, as if theirs was THE wedding of the season, is beyond me! But, boy, did she do it! Professional and easygoing at the same time, she guided the process but let this be OUR event. I was frustrated that I had been unable to trim the menus to fit on the plates and she simply whisked them off the plates and said, âI have a paper cutter. Iâll do it!â Customer service at its best, and this an hour before the ceremony!! The courtyard is charming, an absolutely lovely venue for an outdoor wedding. The food is out of this world, oh my gosh!! From the hors dâoeuvres to the cake, nothing was bland or blasĂŠ! Simply a fabulous meal - I heard guests commenting about it to one another. And the wait staff was professional, efficient and helpful. They executed the entire event seamlessly. I give Earle Brown Heritage Center my highest recommendation! You canât go wrong. And if finances are a consideration, they are MUCH more reasonable than other venues I looked at. An ALL-around win! Reviewed on 01-10-2022

Our outdoor ceremony by the fountain was so elegant and we loved that guests could easily migrate to the Captain's Room for our reception. Many people set a low bar for wedding food, but the quality is actually quite good at the Heritage Center. We had some guests tell us it was the best wedding food they ever had. The way the tasting was set up was really fun and gave us inspiration for decor. An additional perk to the venue is location. Despite being in the city, it feels quite quaint and secluded. There are two hotels within walking distance where we organized room blocks and this was so appreciated by our guests. My only complaint is the day of coordinator was not really there. I rented mirrors and votives for my center pieces the day of they couldnât find the mirrors and when they did a couple hours later a staff member brought the mirrors in with windex and paper towels so they had to clean them all before they could use them and they had to reset all the center pieces because they were done except the mirrors. I never received the votives and candles so we were short. This was a much added stress on the morning of my wedding and took way longer than it should have to set up. Everything else was beautiful. I had to contact this person to give me a time estimate of when our chairs/arch would be set up so my florist could begin and lack of communication when we came together to begin the ceremony. Our guests loved the venue for the ceremony (outside by the small fountain) and the Harvest Room was perfect for our group. We requested a unique setup for the food (heavy appetizer stations) and they made it happen! Everyone was gushing about how amazing the food was and we actually got to enjoy it ourselves...the cater staff was so amazing and brought us small plates to us so we could taste each option before it was too late! The grounds are beautiful, which was a big reason that I fell in love with this place! My now husband was sold because of the food. The coordinators were great to work with and with getting everything reserved and answering any questions we had! Our guests are still talking about how beautiful the ceremony was and how delicious the meals were. We chose to do a buffet with Chicken and Salmon. Unfortunately neither of those agree with my Dad's stomach problems but that wasn't an issue, our event manager quickly gave us other options that were coming off the line that night for him to choose from. It was also wonderful to be able to serve the children plated meals that catered to them vs making them eat off the buffet. \rThe only reason that I didn't give 5 stars is that I was completely sold on the fact that we had 2 hours in the courtyard of only our party, so for our ceremony and getting our pictures done. I ensured that everyone in my wedding party and all of my vendors were plenty aware that we were only allowed out there for our two hours until the last wedding ceremony was over. Unfortunately other brides were not as respectful and the staff at EBHC didn't enforce this. In fact, they told me it was a public place and they couldn't tell people they couldn't be out there. So there are others in the backgrounds of our ceremony pictures (a whole wedding party taking pictures) and were interrupted by another photographer and couple while attempting to take our photos. Katie did an awesome job coordinating and was very responsive and on top of things during the whole planning process. The food was delicious, staff was very professional and nice at the reception, and our guests really enjoyed the venue. It was a great place for pictures as well. The only complaint I have is that our hosted bar drinks and amount were decided during planning, then at our reception (unknown to me at the time), my father and father in law requested the bar be totally âopenâ and said they would pay the overage. This resulted in our hosted bar that we thought would last all night being gone at 8:00. The staff was asking my father in law when to cut off the hosted bar even he was not the person we designated to make that decision and the tab kept rolling way over the amount my husband and I wanted. Since the bar was completely hosted for a long period of time, some guests ordered multiple shots at a time and got very drunk (like WAY beyond regular wedding drunk), which is exactly why my husband and I chose not to host a completely open bar. Other than that one issue everything went great, I guess just be sure to communicate clearly at your final appointment who can and canât make decisions regarding your bar, especially if you have those few friends that you know will go overboard on free shots and get out of hand. She knew price was a concern for us and we got an incredible amount of services and the hall looked stunning for a very reasonable price. She was honest with us about the food and ways to save money but still impress our guests. The reception hall looked exactly as we had planned it and even exceeded our expectations. The food was wonderful...they even created a menu item for us to fit into our budget and it was one of the most talked about menu items of the night! The wait staff was very friendly and efficient and we felt as though every detail was being handled-we could just sit back and enjoy. The outdoor courtyard it beautiful for photos and there is a lovely hotel (Embassy Suites) right next to the venue where your guests can stay and we were able to get ready and walk right over to the reception site for pictures-very convenient. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a more laidback venue at a reasonable price. Reviewed on 10-08-2010
