Heritage was everything we could have asked for! I was living out of state when we were planning our wedding and needed someone who could correspond promptly and effectively to plan the details. And Liz, the venue coordinator, met all that expectations. She was one of the key reasons we picked this venue. She was always prompt and professional, unlike many of the other venues we tried to decide on. Conveying our idea for the wedding was easy as she caught right on it. She covered all the details and made sure the outdoor ceremony and reception looked perfect, just the way we imagined it. The venue staff in general were very cordial and helpful too. We were even able to decide on our other vendors through their partners. Would absolutely recommend this venue!

I couldn’t say enough great things about Heritage Golf Club! We had our ceremony and reception there on 10/2/21 and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The setting was beautiful, the staff was incredible and Sierra is simply the best. All of the details were handled, we had so much support and it was the best day ever. The pricing is so comparable with the market but you get such a great experience and the course is gorgeous, it’s worth every penny. I would recommend getting married at Heritage to absolutely anyone. Thank you for making my wedding dreams come true!

I couldn’t say enough great things about Heritage Golf Club! We had our ceremony and reception there on 10/2/21 and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The setting was beautiful, the staff was incredible and Sierra is simply the best. All of the details were handled, we had so much support and it was the best day ever. Heritage is a beautiful venue. We chose it for the outdoor ceremony space and Sierra's expert event managing abilities. As an event planner myself, I trusted Sierra to take care of every detail and she did! Everything went off without a hitch and Sierra and the rest of the team are all wonderful. The food was tasty and we received exceptional service throughout the entire wedding planning process. Also, compared to some other very similar venues we looked at, you can’t beat the price which includes a lot of things such as setting up your tables for you with the decor you bring, etc, where other venues will charge you extra for every little thing. We greatly appreciate all that Heritage did to make our night successful and I would recommend Heritage Golf Club to anyone.

We got married at Heritage last weekend and couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out! This venue is truly a hidden gem in Hilliard. Sierra was incredible to work with the last year and her staff was wonderful at our wedding. Everyone was so friendly and helpful! We were able to have both our ceremony and reception outside and everything flowed so smoothly. The food tasted great, the golf course/grounds were in great condition, and Sierra/ her staff were extremely accommodating. I highly recommend booking with Heritage! We were so happy with how everything turned out!

This venue is beautiful, overlooking a luscious green golf course and had ample space for my 110 wedding guests. Very clean facility overall and fancy bathroom for me and my girls to get ready in! Sierra was the absolute best! She took care of every aspect for my perfect day, making it a stress-free wedding. All of the wait staff was friendly and professional. The food was fabulous, I did not hear one complaint from the guests.

We had a blast at our wedding! Lindsey Niederlander their Private Events Director is very organized and made every step of the way simple and easy! WOW, WOW, WOW! I highly recommend getting married here! Their staff was awesome. We had a transition in Event Directors, and it was seamless. Just about anything I wanted, the answer was always, \"Yes, we can do that.\" I was never told \"no.\" I had a special drink request of something they didn't stock, and they specifically got it for our wedding!Lindsey the Events Director was amazing! She helped keep me grounded and calm. I never once had a freak-out moment because she had it all under control. We had a few very last minutes things pop-up (literally right before the ceremony), and she handled it, saving me from stressing out. Also, anytime I was unsure of something (i.e. decorations, processes, ceremony details, placement, etc.), she helped me make the best decisions between option A and option B of many things that popped up throughout the planning process. Lindsey was also very responsive. She always got back with me within hours to a day. I never had to track her down for a reply back to my questions. I also had a lot of \"week of\" changes/additions, and she made sure it was all take care of. Sierra her assistant was also wonderful, and so helpful.The venue was beautiful, and the food was great! I love how they do a taste testing of the menu, so that you get a chance to try a lot of the food options before deciding on the wedding menu. I also really like how the cake was included in their pricing if you used one of their two vendors. We used The Cake Studio in Powell, and everyone loved the cake. Overall, I would highly recommend this venue!

Jody, the event coordinator, was spectacular and put us at ease from the moment we met her. She was on top of every item, answered all of our questions and met with us several times to ensure our reception was exactly what we wanted. She even offered helpful tips and suggestions along the way to ensure a smooth event for us (since we were new to wedding planning, her tips were invaluable). I can't say enough about her and how her team executed our reception. They did a beautiful job decorating the venue, offered top notch service the day of and helped guide us through our day. In addition, they had amazing food (we received a lot of compliments from guests)! I would highly recommend using Heritage Golf Club for your wedding, reception, shower, etc. You won't be disappointed!

We chose this place for our daughter's graduation party and it was a perfect choice. JODY was awesome and helped us from start to finish. Our guest enjoyed the location and the venue itself! We are planning to celebrate our son's wedding there in 2 years! I would recommend this place to everyone who wants to rent for graduation,wedding....you will not regret it.

OMG where to begin!! Jody is amazing to work with!!!! Every detail of our reception was perfect. I did not worry about a thing the day of our wedding. I have heard from at least 50 of our 110 guest that the food was amazing and I have a rather snobby family when it comes to food. Our decorations were very simple (per our choice) and Jody and her staff made it all perfect. Heritage is beautiful enough without needing over the top decorations. Jody even got my change of shoes for me from her office so I didn't have to leave the dance floor. Heritage is a wonderful venue for your wedding reception. They even had golf carts waiting for us so we could take pictures on the course with warm towels because it was snowing in April! Silly Ohio weather. OMG where to begin!! Jody is amazing to work with!!!! Every detail of our reception was perfect. I did not worry about a thing the day of our wedding. I have heard from at least 50 of our 110 guest that the food was amazing and I have a rather snobby family when it comes to food. Our decorations were very simple (per our choice) and Jody and her staff made it all perfect. Heritage is beautiful enough without needing over the top decorations. Jody even got my change of shoes for me from her office so I didn't have to leave the dance floor. Heritage is a wonderful venue for your wedding reception. They even had golf carts waiting for us so we could take pictures on the course with warm towels because it was snowing in April! Silly Ohio weather. I'm so happy we decided to have our reception at Heritage. It made for the perfect and most stress free wedding!!

Our entire experience at Heritage Golf Club was amazing! Jody, the wedding coordinator, was wonderful, and made sure that our entire planning process was stress free. She was always available to answer questions, and worked hard to make sure that all of the details of our wedding day were perfect. Jody corresponds with all of your vendors, which helps make the planning process easier and your wedding day run smoothly. The entire venue and outdoor wedding garden are beautiful, and the food that we selected was all delicious. All of the staff at Heritage was extremely helpful on our wedding day. We have received so many compliments from our guests about their experience at Heritage! We would highly recommend Heritage to anyone looking for a gorgeous venue for their wedding.

She put us right at ease with the daunting task of planning a wedding. We had some high maintenance guests (who also had high maintenance requests), Jody was very accommodating to these requests and the many others we had. We loved that the catering was onsite and that they cost of the wedding cake from 1 of 2 vendors was included in the price. It saved us sometime looking for a bakery. Jody provided us with a list of vendors, which made finding our DJ VERY EASY! Every little detail was covered and taken care of right down to drinks for us and bridal party to have at the table when we came in from pictures. Jody was in constant communication with us during the planning process about what she needed and provided advice when we weren't sure what to do. With all of that, our day was PERFECT! The food was PHENOMENAL and the best part was that we were able to ENJOY the day/evening with our guests without worrying about anything at Heritage. \r\rOur guests RAVED to us that night and the next day about the food, venue and service. It was all just absolutely perfect and amazing!

We started looking a venues in April of 2014, with the intention of getting married in June 2015. After looking at three venues and emailing countless more, we decided that Heritage Golf Club was the perfect place for us. We met with the sales and catering director, Jody Unger, and priced out the space for a wedding in June 2015. After seeing the cost ($10,000+) we asked about the price of an off season wedding (late November). We booked the golf club for our November 22, 2014 wedding in June 2014. Jody was wonderful throughout the entire process- she answered any questions and was willing to accommodate special requests. \r\rThe months leading up to the wedding, I couldn't have asked for a better contact at the golf club. She answered every email and question promptly- I wasn't left wondering or worrying about anything. \r\rThe day of the wedding was perfect. She knew exactly what to do to keep things flowing and on time. The staff was friendly and approachable. The venue was gorgeous- we dropped off the decorations the Wednesday before and the staff placed them exactly how I had requested. The food was wonderful- every guest commented on how flavorful it was and that it was the best wedding food they had had. \r\rI HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Heritage Golf Club to future brides.

We had an amazing experience hosting our wedding ceremony and reception at Heritage. Selecting a venue was the easiest decision we made, and that was mainly because of the event coordinator Jody. She made the whole planning process easy and stress free. Jody helped with every aspect and was there the day of the wedding to make sure everything ran smoothly. She even coordinated with all of our other vendors, so we didn't need to worry about a thing! The bar and wait staff were also very friendly and did a great job the day of the wedding. We received a lot of great feedback from our guests regarding the food and overall atmosphere of the ceremony and reception. After visiting several venues in town, Heritage Country Club was the clear winner for our July wedding reception. It is a beautiful facility with great food and an amazing wedding coordinator. All of our vendors had strong relationships with Heritage which made for easy planning. Each of our vendors also had the highest praises for Jody, the coordinator, and it was certainly well-deserved. Jody kept us on track throughout the year with planning and was always available to help with any questions that came up. The photos we took on the golf course also turned out to be some of our favorites. As stressful as wedding planning can be, working with Heritage Country Club is one thing you don't have to worry about. You can be sure that everything will go smoothly and you will be able to relax and enjoy your wedding day. The cost was reasonable compared to other venues in town, and you also don't have to worry about finding separate caterers or bakers. The food is all done in house (better than being transported from an off-site kitchen) and our cake was FABULOUS! I can't say enough good things about working with Jody and Heritage Country Club!

I chose Heritage Golf Club to have my wedding reception for a few reasons: the location was close to our church, was in my hometown and Jody was absolutely fantastic to work with! She is like having your own personal wedding coordinator! The food was so yummy, I received so many compliments on the venue and food from our guests! They work with two cake companies and include that cost in with the meal cost for your guests, it was one less thing I needed to go looking for and their cake was amazing! Jody included a long referral list for anything I may need for our wedding day, it was nice to have a reference point to start searching for vendors. Jody has seen all of their work and was very honest with her recommendations! She was so flexible to work with, anything I asked, she would figure out a way to make it work! The dinner service was very quick for serving 170 guests and they were so accomodating with any allergies or special requests. We even had an extra guest show up and their staff was so quick to bring out an extra chair and meal without even mentioning it to me. I felt like I was in such great hands working with Jody and her staff, I recommend Heritage Golf Club to anyone looking for a wedding venue!

I chose Heritage Golf Club to have my wedding reception for a few reasons: the location was close to our church, was in my hometown and Jody was absolutely fantastic to work with! She is like having your own personal wedding coordinator! The food was so yummy, I received so many compliments on the venue and food from our guests! They work with two cake companies and include that cost in with the meal cost for your guests, it was one less thing I needed to go looking for and their cake was amazing! Jody included a long referral list for anything I may need for our wedding day, it was nice to have a reference point to start searching for vendors. Jody has seen all of their work and was very honest with her recommendations! She was so flexible to work with, anything I asked, she would figure out a way to make it work! The dinner service was very quick for serving 170 guests and they were so accomodating with any allergies or special requests. We even had an extra guest show up and their staff was so quick to bring out an extra chair and meal without even mentioning it to me. I felt like I was in such great hands working with Jody and her staff, I recommend Heritage Golf Club to anyone looking for a wedding venue!

My wedding took place at 11 AM, indoors. I had the option of having an outdoor ceremony, but I didn't want the stress of potential rain. Jody was very accommodating! We planned the ceremony and reception inside and it was beautiful! The reception was a little hectic, but nice. Jody was so helpful and I was really glad that she kept everything running smoothly. The food was DELICIOUS- I liked everything we had- and I heard nothing but positive reviews from the guests. Everyone on the staff was very friendly and I found Heritage to be very eager to make the wedding day as personalized as possible.

My daughter and her new hubby wanted a smallish (75 guests), simple yet well-done wedding, and Heritage was amazing in bringing it to fruition. I would say this is largely due to Jody Unger's coordination abilities. Every detail was just as we wanted. Even the little things that were mentioned in passing were noted. The food was delicious (we went with a brunch buffet) and the room was just lovely. This was an 11:00 AM ceremony/reception following affair, so the rooms were flooded with a pleasing natural light, and honestly we have received so many compliments on how beautifully the event turned out. The staff is friendly and very helpful, the event space clean and well-appointed. Parking is ample. The grounds are also fantastic, and although we didn't utilize the outdoor setting much, what we did use (for photos) was meticulously groomed. Kudos to the groundskeeper. \r\rWe did check out other venues as well, and it was Jody's personality, knowledge, and enthusiasm that sold us on choosing Heritage. She was incredibly easy to work with. We highly recommend Heritage Golf Club! \r\r

Heritage was the very first wedding venue we toured. As soon as we met with Jody, we knew she would be fantastic to work with. As we continued to tour other venues throughout Central Ohio, we always felt like there was something missing at each one. After about 4 months of searching for the perfect venue we settled on Heritage after figuring out that what was missing everywhere else was Jody. There was truly no other venue with a coordinator who was so enthusiastic and excited about the prospect of having our wedding at their venue.\r\rI can tell you without a doubt we made the right decision. Not only is the golf club itself a beautiful place with stunning views and ample photo opportunities, but Jody is simply the best! Throughout the course of the year we spent planning our ceremony and reception (both held at Heritage), Jody worked closely with us and made every decision a breeze. She was so accommodating and offered so many options; always asking for our thoughts every step of the way! She was very enthusiastic and excited about our wedding; making us feel as though it was the only wedding she had coming up.\r\rOn the day of the wedding, everything was picture perfect! Jody and her team had everything set up beautifully and the clubhouse really looked amazing. The outdoor ceremony area was also perfect. I had some simple decorations for the chairs and the alter and that's really all it needed. Jody was there every step of the way making sure everything ran smoothly. So many people commented that we had such a beautiful wedding and reception. And I can't even begin to tell you how many people complimented the food. Everything was delicious and presented very nicely.\r\rIf you are looking for a beautiful venue for your wedding and/or reception and an experienced, professional coordinator then look no further!

Heritage is beautiful! The staff was fabulous to work with and they went out of the way to make it your perfect, dream day. There were no hidden or added fees. Jody gave you the price of everything from the first meeting. Throughout the planning period, she would offer Heritage's decorations or supplies at no cost. My husband and I wanted tarts instead of cake and the staff wasn't satisfied with the tarts they created just for us till we loved them! The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. I had a horrible cold the day of the wedding and the staff was at my beckoning call. They were amazing! We had pictures on the golf course. \rHeritage was great to work with. Jody was quick to respond to me calls and emails. She met with me 3 or 4 times prior to the wedding. I never had to wait nor did I feel rushed through our meetings. \rThe guest loved Heritage and I still am hearing comments from my guest of how much they liked it. \rIf I had to do it over again, I would use Heritage again!

Heritage Golf Club was the ABSOLUTE PERFECT venue for our wedding reception (7-6-13)! The venue itself is gorgeous.. the outside veranda is to die for, and the golf course is immaculate. The food was great, and the kitchen staff is more than happy to accommodate special requests. We selected the combo platter of the filet and chicken marsala. I know all of our guests were very happy with their meal. The staff did a great job of getting everything set up.. they were quick with getting our cake cut and plated for our guests. At the end of the night, all of the gifts were taken to our parents' car with care, and they were so attentive to ask exactly what we wanted to do with everything that we had provided for the reception.\rThe only negative that we experienced was minor. The venue capacity is 250, and I think we ended up providing seating for 203 guests, and I felt that the room was very crowded. It was tight to walk between tables as they were so close together.\rBy far, the most positive part of our experience with Heritage was Jody, who works as the wedding planner at the club. I think by the time we signed our contract with Heritage, our wedding was 11 months away. From that moment, Jody was always on top of our timeline... making sure that things were done when they needed to be. She would e-mail with updates and about our next steps. Closer to the wedding, she was even more on top of it.. often going above and beyond what was required of her. She genuinely seemed happy to help and she was honestly dedicated to making our wedding exactly how WE wanted it to be.\rOverall, I feel EXTREMELY satisfied that we chose to have our wedding reception at Heritage. It was a wonderful day made extra special by the fabulous people at Heritage :-)

All I can say is we had the BEST WEDDING EVER!!! We fell in love with this venue over a year before our June wedding and booked the day after we toured it. Not only is the venue beautiful but Jody Unger the sales and catering director was absolutely WONDERFUL! She was like a wedding planner included with the venue. I was stress free. She had us drop off all our decorations that week and she made sure they were in the right place and we didn't have to go and decorate before. She was great and all of our guests commented on how wonderful she was. She is very flexible with meeting times. I work night shift so this worked out great for us. She was there from 8 am until the end of our wedding which was after midnight. She did so much for us and we are very appreciative to her. The food was AWESOME!!! It is included in the package. All of our guests raved about the food and continue to tell us how good it was. We had a 2 entrée buffet. The chef even came out to see if everything was okay. The staff waited on us hand and foot! I had a pink koozie for beer and Joe the waiter would make sure my beer was always in my koozie. I cannot say enough great things about this venue but I recommend if you want a stress free PERFECT wedding, go to Heritage Golf Club.

After checking out alot of different venues, I came across the Heritage Golf Club! And boy was I glad I did! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect and beautiful wedding from start to finish! Jody Unger is just AMAZING!! She is very professional at her job. She is a great listener, very detailed, and she is constantly on top of things. The food was so good! I got so many compliments on it. I had someone tell me it was the most beautiful wedding she has ever been to. I highly recommend this place to all the brides!! DEF a 5 star rating all around!!!!

If you have your wedding here Jody will take excellent care of you. The whole process was easy thanks to her organization. She was very helpful to work with us to plan the wedding reception we wanted. Jody also knew what details to plan that we didn't think about but made a big difference on the day of. She contacted and worked with all of our vendors for us which was another stress we didn't have to deal with. On the day of the wedding, everything ran smoothly and exactly as we had talked about before. We can't thank her and the staff at Heritage enough for a great wedding day.

By far the best decision we made for our wedding! Jody and the staff at Heritage went above and beyond to make our special day amazing. From the first time we met Jody, we knew this was a perfect fit. The package that Heritage offers saves you time and money by including your cake and favors in the cost of your venue. You get to customize your cake and your favors directly with the vendors; we ordered bride and groom cake pops, and Jody even took the time to ensure that everyone got a gender-appropriate cake pop with their escort card. Everytime I talked with Jody throughout the planning process, I always felt reassured that the day would go off without a hitch. Jody is extremely organized, and even helped structure out important events during the reception (first dance, bouquet toss, cake cutting). At first, we thought only Jody was this wonderful, but all of the staff at Heritage on the day of our wedding were remarkable! I even got to eat at my own wedding! Even hors d'eouvres! There was always someone around for anything we needed, and one of the staff members even helped my maid of honor adjust the bustle on my dress. People have not stopped raving about the food and the incredible service. I wish we could use Hertiage again and again!

You get to customize your cake and your favors directly with the vendors; we ordered bride and groom cake pops, and Jody even took the time to ensure that everyone got a gender-appropriate cake pop with their escort card. Everytime I talked with Jody throughout the planning process, I always felt reassured that the day would go off without a hitch. Jody is extremely organized, and even helped structure out important events during the reception (first dance, bouquet toss, cake cutting). At first, we thought only Jody was this wonderful, but all of the staff at Heritage on the day of our wedding were remarkable! I even got to eat at my own wedding! Even hors d'eouvres! There was always someone around for anything we needed, and one of the staff members even helped my maid of honor adjust the bustle on my dress. People have not stopped raving about the food and the incredible service. I wish we could use Hertiage again and again!

One of the most amazing benefits of working with Heritage is working with Jodi (sales and catering director). She is very knowledgeable of weddings and very flexible and accommodating. She was always very quick to reply to questions via email and or phone call and open to adjust her schedule to fit yours. I needed help with finding a reliable photographer and she was able to give me the information of photographers she has had experiences with in the past and highly recommended. \rThe rest of the staff was amazing as well! Always friendly and helpful.\rI highly recommend this facility. I have heard nothing but good reviews since the wedding from family and friends. All I can say is if I could give higher than 5 stars, I would!! Jody Unger, the event planner, is the absolute best person ever!!!! She made sure my Wedding day was perfect, and it was!! She is on top of everything and always kept everything and everyone on schedule! Whenever I emailed her with questions, which was a lot, she responded within a half hour every time and had an answer!! She is the nicest person to work with and makes the wedding planning process a breeze! The outside ceremony was beautiful! You don't really have to decorate out there because the background of the golf course and flowers already there are beautiful! Jody and her crew do all the decorating for you! Inside and out, do you don't have to worry about it the day of your wedding! They do an immaculate job!! You just show them how you want it and give herb the decorations and it's done!! There's only your wedding there, so you basically have the whole place to yourself and can go as early ad you want to get ready. You have the whole bathroom to yourself and it's huge! The food is awesome and all my guests said the same thing!! Prices are very reasonable for what you get! You basically get a free wedding coordinator, which is Jody:-) I could go on and on about Heritage Golf Club, Jody and the staff!! Also, shutout to Ashley, who helped out alot during my special day!! After looking at almost every venue in Columbus, we finally found Heritage it was the biggest blessing we could have been given. We chose Heritage for the beautiful landscape and event space but were so pleased with their willingness to work within our budget. Jody really made everything so perfect and come together so beautifully. She was so helpful with EVERYTHING and she never missed a detail. She was always on top of returning emails and phone calls and updating our contract. She did all the heavy lifting with contacting all of the vendors which definitely helped to ease my mind. Through all of my questions and concerns and crazy ideas she was there to offer her help. Our day finally came and everything went PERFECTLY. The first time I got emotional was walking into the event space and seeing how everything had come together - thanks to the staff and Jody at Heritage. We got numerous comments about the food as well. From the salad to the salmon and chicken with vegetables it was awesome! The waitstaff and bartenders were very friendly and accommodating. We had our ceremony and reception in the same room which required a room flip, this could not have been done more smoothly. The staff did such a great job flipping the rooms that it was unnoticeable and went off without any problems. The event space is gorgeous with large windows and neutral colors to go with any wedding style. The large porch and beautiful landscape were great for pictures. Of all the decisions we had to make throughout our planning process, choosing Heritage was easily the best. We could not have been more pleased with the outcome of our day and we truly have Jody and the staff at Heritage to thank for that!!

Heritage Golf Club is an amazing place to have your ceremony or reception. While I did not have my ceremony there, I did host my reception there. And I could not have asked for a better experience!! I was so pleased with Jody and her service staff! They all were so nice, polite, and helpful. \r\rThe food was AWESOME! We had stationed and passed hors d'oeuvres, that guests raved about, and the entree left them, my husband and I TOTALLY satisfied. The rest of the night was full of fun and so many wonderful memories. And Heritage made that possible with their professionalism, organization, and outstanding service! \r\rAnother great aspect about Heritage are the grounds; it is absolutely gorgeous there!!! People loved sitting out on the veranda and socializing. Our wedding was in August, and the sky was clear, so when the sunset, it was truly breath-taking. We got so many great pictures.\r\rI highly recommend Heritage! \r

Where do I even begin? My husband and I live in Washington state and I thought that it would be difficult to plan from so far out of state, but the sales and catering director, Jody Unger, made life SO much easier. She was always super quick to respond to my (millions of) emails and she never once made me feel like I was a burden or a bother. When I came into town and had meetings with her at the golf club, she was always so warm and inviting and always greeted me with a hug. The day of the wedding went by without a hitch thanks to Jody and the staff. If anything went wrong (which I later heard the staff accidentally broke one of the tall centerpiece vases) I had no clue about it because they took care of everything. Jody was the go-to person for the vendors and stayed in contact with them and I honestly felt like I never needed a separate coordinator since she took care of everything. The food was absolutely amazing and so many guests said that it was the most beautiful wedding they've ever attended. We had our ceremony outside on their ceremony space on the gorgeous golf course and had the reception in the clubhouse. The clubhouse is very spacious and I never felt like I was cramped and couldn't move around. The bar was an actual bar and not one of those literal holes in the wall, which made the room look even more attractive. I can't say enough about Heritage. They truly were one of the reasons that my wedding was one of the happiest days of my life.

My husband is a diabetic and extremely picky about food, but the Heritage made a special meal for him and made sure it was brought out on time. Something that doesn't always happen at weddings! I would definitely recommend the Heritage!

You start wedding planning and read little silly suggestions like \"ask your vendor about a time something went wrong and what they did to handle it.\" Based on our wedding at Heritage (we held both ceremony and reception here), I don't think they'd even have an answer to that question. Not a single thing went wrong the entire day -- The staff has absolutely EVERYTHING handled! We have gotten so many compliments (more than I can count) on how fantastic the staff was. Our guests felt like they were right at home -- everyone there has this personable interaction with people that it felt like they were truly happiest when they were serving our guests. We recently held our ceremony and reception at Heritage in May 2011. It tooks us 2 minutes after meeting Jody Unger to know that this was the perfect place for us! Our wedding day went off without a hitch - even with rain! The staff worked very hard to ensure we would have an outdoor ceremony and it was perfect! Heritage was extremely organized, and the staff was always curteous and very helpful. Jody was such a pleasure to work with, she had every detail thought out, and taken care of! We recently held our ceremony and reception at Heritage in May 2011. It tooks us 2 minutes after meeting Jody Unger to know that this was the perfect place for us! Our wedding day went off without a hitch - even with rain! The staff worked very hard to ensure we would have an outdoor ceremony and it was perfect! Heritage was extremely organized, and the staff was always curteous and very helpful. Jody was such a pleasure to work with, she had every detail thought out, and taken care of! I would recommend Heritage to any couple looking for a beautiful backdrop, excellent staff, great food and a great value. Thank you Heritage for everything you did for us to help make our special day perfect!

I first visited Heritage Golf Club in 2005 for a work event. I remember driving up the driveway thinking to myself what a beautiful venue this was hidden away in Hilliard and once I stepped inside I immediately thought that I'd want to consider this for my wedding...but first I had to meet Prince Charming. \rFast forward 5 years and I found myself in the midst of planning a wedding. Heritage was the only venue the groom agreed to visit because of proximity to our home and once we visited, he was sold on it. But the real test was selling my mother. In 1 day we visited 6 venues in the Columbus area. But none of them offered the ambiance of Heritage. The grounds were beautiful and offered the perfect backdrop for our outdoor wedding photos and also a cocktail reception outdoors. The entrance offered a personal touch that almost made one feel as though they were coming to our home for the celebration. They even agreed to display photos of the groom and me on the mantle the night of the reception. The deciding factor came down to their flexibility in allowing us to offer a cookie table at the reception, a wedding tradition and necessity where I was raised.\rSince every facility offers their services at different pricing packages, it was difficult to financially compare them at a glance. But after some strict numbers crunching, we quickly realized that Heritage was competitively priced with what we considered to be some less attractive places in the area. \rWe were a little nervous to book the facility having never tried their food. But once we held our tasting (4 months before the wedding), that fear was quickly squandered. We loved the salad that was included with our buffet. The homemade dressings were delicious. But we were thrilled with the chef's flexibility in meeting our picky taste when it came to the vegetables they offered, finally choosing a grilled vegetable medley. While we settled on our main dishes pretty fast (Seared chicken and rigatoni with a roasted red pepper sauce and an Asian marinated flank steak made to our tastes) we struggled with what starch to offer as they were all delicious, finally leaving this decision to the groom and opting for the garlic mashed potatoes. We received numerous compliments on the food and cake offered, as it too was part of our package. \rThe bar in the room was beautiful, dark wood with the feeling of a high end bar. Most other venues put up a table or rolling bar. We liked the regal feel of the bar at Heritage. After all, we looked at our reception as a giant party with our closest family and friends. The alcohol and beer choices that were offered were more high end than the other venues as well.\rThe service at Heritage was amazing also. The Catering Director, Jody, was very organized and detailed oriented. This suited my Type-A personality well. She thought of many things that hadn't crossed my mind and helped me plan every last detail and remained patient with me when a Bridezilla moment would occur. Even my quiet father commented on how great she was to work with. She coordinated everything with the vendors for the day of the wedding, took care of ordering all of the supplies, chair covers and even a dance floor so we could layout the room exactly to our needs. Overall, I am very fortunate to say that I did in fact have my dream wedding. If I was to have it all to do over again, Heritage Golf Club would still be our venue...we wouldn't change a thing.\r

Heritage Golf Club was an absolutely wonderful place to hold a wedding, reception, or both. The first thing that catches your eye is the beauty of the building and the grounds. It is perfectly manicured and there always seems to be something blooming! The beautiful country club setting means that you can get away from over the top decorating and use that money elsewhere (like a honeymoon!). The interior of the clubhouse can hold its own and has wonderful details everywhere in it. The clubhouse has a very distinguished look and the built in bar is an awesome touch without being over the top. We had both our wedding and reception at Heritage. The wedding was outside under an arbor that had been painted two weeks prior. If rain would have been in the forecast, we could have easily moved the event indoors or used a tent. While pictures were being taken, our guests were able to mingle and snack under the wrap around veranda and look out over the course.\r\rAside from the beautiful facility, which obviously was the first thing to catch our eyes, the staff at Heritage Golf Club was fabulous!! We had looked at many other venues, many which were amazing as well, but we would agree that one of the biggest selling points for us was the coordinator Jody Unger. She made this whole process so easy and pain free! Her amazing personality, attention to detail, and genuine concern over the happiness of her couple was so obvious! There was never a time that we even had to wait 24 hours for an answer to a question. If we were to email or call her, we would receive an answer within a couple of hours if that!! Even our guests kept coming to us commenting on what a fabulous job she did and was doing throughout the entire evening! We have never felt so pampered!! You spend months planning and stressing over one day, and it is such a relief to see that the person who takes over the reins on the biggest day of your life is completely at ease and makes the whole day perfect!!\r\rNot only was Jody fabulous, but everyone from the Chef, to the serving staff, to the receptionists, were amazing and really went out of their way to help you! From being accomodating to special requests for certain meals, to handling a flower arrangement last minute change, to coming up with an amazing plan for a cake topper that just did not want to stay put, the staff really made the day spectacular!!\r\rI have absolutely nothing but wonderful things to say about Heritage Golf Club and its staff. If you are looking for a beautiful setting that can give you an amazing indoor/outdoor feel no matter what the weather, a beautiful and comfortable facility, DELICIOUS food (we had a guest ask if anyone would think it was odd if he licked his plate clean!), and a detail oriented staff who is there to make your day perfect - look no further!!

I'm set to have my wedding reception at Heritage on November 5, 2011. I will say, (and agree with many of the other posts) that the sales/catering director is one of the main reasons we chose Heritage. Not only is the place GORGEOUS, but Jody Unger is amazing!! I'm a rather anal person when it comes to my wedding and the details, but I can breathe easier because she is extremely organized and all about the details and making your day perfect! At first I was a little skeptical about having someone else decorate (though i am so excited now, one less thing to do) but I have no doubts she will do an amazing job!!!!! Another thing we loved is that on your special day, you have full use of the golf course for pictures!!! There is some amazing scenery and promises for some equally amazing pics! Especially if your hubby to be is a golfer!!!!! I can't wait!!

We loved Jody, Sales and Catering Director, from the minute we met her. She not only didn't disappoint us, she far exceeded our expectations. She was accommodating, gracious and attended to every detail. Chef Don went out of his way to prepare and present a delicious dinner as well as hors d'oeuvres. We received many compliments from our guests about the beautiful setting of the Heritage, the delicious food, as well as the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. You won't be sorry if you choose the Heritage!

One of the many things that made our experience with Heritage so great was the coordinator we worked with (Jody Unger). From our initial inquiry to our ever changing requests she was always prompt in her response, very professional, friendly and went out of her way to always accommodate us. With the amount of money you spend on a reception I could not have dealt with a reception venue that could not be bothered to return my calls and emails....who needs that kind of aggrevation? I never had this problem at Heritage, Jody was GREAT!\rHeritage is an excellent value for what you get. The packages are reasonable, the location is convenient, the facility and grounds are beautiful and the food is really exceptional. We went with the a choice of Chicken Marsala or the Salmon and our guests raved about the food.\rOn the day of the wedding everything was set up exactly as we had discussed during our pre-reception meeting. Both during and after the reception we received numerous compliments from our guests regarding the outstanding service. We really could not have chosen a better location for our reception.

I recently had my wedding at Heritage and I could not be happier. The staff is ready to help in any way. I did not worry about a thing on my wedding day. They took care of everything! All of my guests were very pleased with the waiters and the venue. This place has the whole package!
