Cannot recommend them enough! Having everything from the rehearsal dinner to the after party in one place was such a blessing, they made it so easy to coordinate and the execution was flawless. All of the food was delicious and fresh, and they had plenty of accommodations for the different diets we had to work with. Jennifer was amazing and helpful throughout the planning process and my day of coordinators Gina and Lexi were great. They kept everything running smoothly and were so sweet. Every single employee from the front desk to the bartenders were so nice and professional. I can't wait to go back as a wedding guest this year! Reviewed on 04-01-2024

The most amazing staff!!! From the moment we decided to book Jennifer was amazing to work with answered immediately whenever we had any questions no matter how annoying! Attentive and caring with every detail. Not to mention the food and service was AMAZING. Every request or question we had the day of our wedding was answered and done in no time. We were in the absolute best hands and felt no stress or worry on our wedding day. Having the ability for our guests to party with us at our wedding, head across the hall to the Tavern to party more to having the luxury of walking right up to their room when the night was over was a huge plus! We cannot say enough good things about the Heritage Hotel. Our wedding was 9/23. We booked it pretty far in advance. From the start, Jennifer Giuliano was incredibly responsive. She helped from the day we booked to even days after. We are so lucky to have found this venue. It was everything we wanted. The Timbers room is stunning. I highly recommend getting the lanterns. Our guests raved about the food. Even though it wained on the day of, there was no stress because plan b was already in place. I had Della as my day of coordinator. She was amazing 10/10! Seriously, she stayed by my side all day and always made sure I had a drink in my hand. She also kept reminding me to eat which was amazing. She even told us if there was any way that it did not rain on our day they would move back to our original plan of having the ceremony outside. It was so nice to just have that option. She even could tell when I was getting overwhelmed and told family and friends to leave my getting ready room for me because I'm non-confrontational. Love her for that. When I say our day was stress-free... it was literally stress-free. Everything went according to plan. The bartenders were so fun our guests are still talking about them. Ask for Steven and Anthony! We had our after-party up in the tavern after. It was pretty good! There were a few downers but overall it was pretty good. There were other people there as it was open to the public, so unfortunately yes, they were eating the food that we paid for for our guests. Nonetheless, we didn't really care. I highly recommend getting to the bar quickly even as bride and groom because my husband was mingling. Then when he went to order a drink from the bar they said they had already called last call(it was like 11:30pm). But it was not the last call, and no he was not drunk he was just high on life. He told them he was the groom and the bartender still said no. He tried to get his friend to get him a drink, but unfortunately, they still said no. They continued serving others though. I'm not sure what the reasoning was, but just make sure you get there fairly quickly after the ceremony so you can get a drink! The only other weird thing was that for the after-party we requested a tray of mac and cheese, but for some reason had mac and cheese bites. Not sure if there was a miscommunication somewhere but I was looking forward to having the mac and cheese. Those were the only few bummers, but that still was so little compared to how seamless our day went. I brought a lot of my own decor in and they decorated just how I wanted and even better. To all my brides in planning mode, if you want a stress-free and supportive planning process choose the heritage hotel! Reviewed on 03-11-2023

Annmarie Sitar(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 30-09-2022 The Heritage has always had a special place in my heart because it is located in my hometown and I knew having my wedding there would make it that much more special. My Husband and I got married on September 30th and can't stop talking about how having everything there (ceremony, reception, after party, lodging) was the best decision we ever made. The hotel and grounds are just absolutely beautiful and the timbers reception room is simply breathtaking. But what made it even more special are the staff. Jennifer was incredible leading up to the day with being responsive, keeping things on track and answering any questions we had, and our coordinator on the day, Kara, was unbelievable. We didn't even need a wedding planner! She made sure everything was set up perfectly and that the flow of the day was exactly how we wanted it to be. She is such a wonderful person and we feel so thankful to have met her. All of our guests raved about the food and how helpful and friendly all of the staff were. They also still talk about how amazing of a wedding it was. You can't beat the easy flow with going from the ceremony at the stone garden, to the cocktail hour room with the outdoor patio, and then simply moving to the next room to the reception, and only needing to go up to your room at the end of the night! It was a dream day and there is absolutely nothing we would change about it. If you want an unforgettable and special wedding with everything in one place, you must book the Heritage! Jennifer and Chris are great to work with, the food was amazing, and the venue is beautiful! Online pictures really do not do it justice- it has been recently renovated, and the stone garden was lush and colorful for our ceremony. The Timbers room is stunning: huge stone fireplace, wood beams that feel like a barn, and full-length windows that look out over the patio. The staff was able to accommodate serving the dinner family style (highly recommended) and everything ran smoothly. The best part was hanging out in the pub afterwards and knowing that our guests could go right upstairs to their rooms. Highly recommended and a great value! Reviewed on 21-08-2017

So happy we found the perfect reception venue at the Heritage Hotel in the Timbers Room! Jennifer and Chris Allen are superb and very easy to work with! They addressed all of my questions promptly and made the months running up to the date of the wedding easy! Turning in our final counts and food selections was simple and they even made sure we had high chairs at the proper tables ahead of time. The day of the wedding, the tables were set exactly the way I had hoped and decorations distributed as we discussed on drop off day. They even helped include a last min wedding gift (a giant wood carved anchor) into our sweetheart table decorations! We had SO MANY guests compliment the amazing food and both mine and my husband's filet were so delicious and exactly the way we had requested they be cooked. We also had a yummy breakfast the next morning, and the food again was on point. We also checked out both pools the morning after the wedding and they were clean and exactly what we had hoped for! We cannot say enough wonderful things about hosting our wedding reception at Heritage Hotel and their attentive, kind event staff! 5 stars to this special crew! The only fault of the evening was working with the front desk staff as they were not good about handing out our welcome bags, even giving out ones for another party/wedding to some of our guests. We also had 7 left over after the wedding (should have only had 2) and unfortunately individuals who came in Friday missed our welcome reception as they did not get their bags. (I confirmed the day previously- in person- the number of bags and that everyone was listed on our room block). My sister and brother both also went back to the front desk to request their goodie bags cause they had helped make them, but didn't get one. At that same time, the front desk staff member was not very polite. Additionally, upon my husband and I arriving for the reception, we quickly wanted to check in to our room and refresh before going to the cocktail hour. We missed most of the cocktail hour as the front desk staff did not advise us the wedding suite was on a totally separate side of the hotel and required a separate elevator. We walked around the main part of the hotel rooms for 27 min, and called the front desk and were put on hold, before a wonderful cleaning lady came to our aid and brought us to the correct elevator. I didn't think we would have needed to ask, but make sure you do ask directions if you have access to the suite. However, the suite was amazing, bed was uber comfortable and the remainder of the staff was very helpful and accommodating. Just wish I had gotten to enjoy some of the yummy cocktail snacks that everyone raved about! Reviewed on 12-07-2017

Dayna D'Amico(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 05-06-2015 I had my wedding reception at the heritage hotel on a friday night in June and the venue was absolutely beautiful! I was going for a rustic look and the room I had it in was perfect. I worked with Chris and Jennifer in the months leading up to the wedding and they were very accommodating (Chris was the one present on my actual wedding night). In addition the prices were very reasonable and the wedding package we chose had great value for the money. While I was beyond happy with the set up of the room and the decor, I was a little disappointed with dinner. We had the sit down plated dinner and salad came out first, followed shortly by pasta, but then the entrees took almost an hour to come after that. Many of my guests said something to me about once the wedding was over which made me upset. Since dinner came out so late my guests didn't have as much time to dance... but I wasn't going to let it bother me. The rest of the night was great until the very end when I was saying goodbye to my guests. Chris came up to me and told me I had to clear out the entire room of all my centerpieces, flowers and decorations (and I had a lot) and bring everything up to my hotel room right then and there. As the bride I didn't think this was something I'd have to do on my wedding night. In my opinion the hotel should have at least had a closet they could throw everything in until the morning and staff that could have helped. It kind of put a damper on the rest of our night, but luckily our families helped us clean up. Even though a couple things didn't go as planned, my husband and I still enjoyed every second of our special day. Reviewed on 19-09-2015

Sarah Huszar(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 25-05-2014 I’ll admit, I was pretty nervous to find out we were the 3rd of three weddings in one weekend. However, everything went off beautifully! Chris and Jennifer were wonderful, no detail was too small and every question we had was addressed; we really felt like we were the only wedding that weekend. So a quick overview of what was important to us and why we chose the Heritage Hotel:\r1)Location: we wanted a venue where we could have our ceremony, cocktail hour, photos and reception all in the same area and not be stuck with your standard ‘ballroom’ reception hall with crystal chandeliers etc… Heritage Hotel delivered big here! Not only is the outdoor ceremony space BEAUTIFUL but they also have solid backup plans in case of inclement weather which made me feel so much better since it was showering off and on all weekend. The reception area is gorgeous too! Definitely a little more rustic with exposed wood beams but with their little touches – votive candles and twinkle lights around the edge of the room, crisp classic white linens and covered chairs – it still had an upscale feel and huge windows to let in lots of natural light and the beautiful scenery. It was exactly the non-traditional and still classy look we wanted\r2)Lodging: my family is on the west coast, his in on the east so we had a LOT of family traveling and it was important to us that we have somewhere for all of them to stay. The Heritage Hotel set up a room block for us no problem. The rooms were pretty standard (though they didn't have a mini bar which we thought was weird), what really sold us was all the amenities. Between the pool, tennis courts, golf course, walking paths, spa, fitness center and all the gathering places to hang out with friends (or hold Greek dancing lessons!) our guests had plenty of entertainment to choose from\r3)Value: we search PA, NY, NJ and CT for wedding venues and we found the Heritage Hotel to be the most reasonable. What made it really easy was that pretty much everything we wanted – stations dinner, open bar and wedding cake were included in their package price. Plus the vendor they use for the wedding cake was TOP notch! Seriously, I've never heard that many compliments about wedding cake before\r4)Staff: being from out of state I knew I was going to need a lot of help, planning, finding local vendors and such. From the moment we talked to the staff at the Heritage Hotel I felt at ease. Chris and Jennifer did an AMAZING job! Especially when it came to dealing with all the ‘requests’ from my mother in law – they were rock stars!\r5)Food: wasn't that important to me and was a little awkward since they were changing chefs when we booked and they don't do tastings for station dinners. We ate at their pub and thought it was good but we were blown away by our wedding dinner, it was AWESOME! Tasty, fresh, perfectly seasoned, we got a lot of compliments on quality & quantity\r6)Environmentally Friendly: we’re both pretty Eco-conscious so it was important to us that is we were spending this much money it be as ‘green’ as possible. Knowing that the hotel was working on getting green certified and that the chef sources as much local, seasonal and sustainable food as possible made us feel really good about choosing the Heritage Hotel.\r\rOverall everything was beautiful and well beyond anything I had ever imagined our wedding day would be. We couldn't be happier and are so glad we chose to go with the Heritage Hotel for our big day! Reviewed on 11-06-2014

I would have been nice if our maître-d offered us water or some sort of beverage. it wasn't until around 5:30 that she brought us to our hospitality suite. At that point there was a nice spread of beverages and platters. During this time, our guests were at a cocktail hour where there were two platters as well as hot appetizers. The appetizers did not come very often and my mom had to go to the kitchen and complain. When we first signed a contract we were promised each person attending would get 8 of each app, this didn't happen. The bridal party only received a couple appetizers as well.\r\rWhen we entered the room it looked beautiful. The Heritage did a wonderful job decorating and making the room look warm and inviting. We were promised candles along the edge of the room, this didn't happen. \rThe room was also very warm, their AC was struggling with the oppressive heat. \rDuring the reception, our maître-d did a wonderful job making sure we were taken care of. She asked about drinks often and was in communication with all the other vendors to time things well.\rI noticed during dinner that some of our tables were finished eating while others hadn't gotten served yet. I think they should have a few more people working the events this way service would be faster.\rNearing the end of our reception, we wanted to extend it an additional hour. The Heritage wouldn't let us. They said they needed to know a week in advance, however, I remember being told that we could notify them night of. This was extremely disappointing, because we were having such a wonderful time. \rOverall, I had a great time. I know I mentioned some things that went wrong, but they didn't take away from our day. Initially just stopping in to assess lodging options, we fell in love with the entire place! A party is what we wanted and a party is what we got!\r\rThree Mile Brook was everything we wanted for our reception: vaulted ceilings, rustic feel, roaring fireplace, antique piano for our cake, expansive windows looking out to the snow falling, grand staircase for the entrance. On the day of the wedding in February, it was perfect. No one can explain the feeling that you have when, after months of planning, you look out over into your reception and see all of your hard work payoff. The staff did a better job setting up than we could have ever dreamed. It was truly amazing, it was magical.\r\rPlanning a wedding from a distance was incredibly difficult but Jennifer Giuliano made it possible. She listened to all our our ideas and turned them into reality. She never told us \"no\" and made us feel like we were really getting everything we ever wanted, and we did! She arranged everything from contracts to rooms to our homemade beer being on all the tables!\r\rChris Allen also worked with us as our day neared and was the one on-site on our wedding day from the start until the last guest crawled up the stairs. All I can say is that Chris made it all happen and come together. She is the ultimate lifesaver! \r\rAs for the food...we are still hearing guests comment on how they have never had such great food at a wedding before. Even our extremely picky, world-traveler friends could not get enough of the the fresh raw bar and perfectly cooked meat! The layouts were absolutely beautiful, too. Our wedding party had their own suite with a full display of food and drinks on ice. When we went out with our photographers to do our own pictures, they brought a whole tray just for us...definitely much needed and appreciated!\r\rWe also decided to continue our reception in Shadrach's Pub just steps from the reception afterwards. We worked with the chef to bring in some of our Buffalo favorites for late-night snacks and it was awesome! And for a very great price, too!\r\rSunday morning we had a brunch downstairs. The food was delicious and my husband is still raving about the eggs, bacon and salsa! The best, most endearing part was that most of the decorations from the night before had been brought into the room...so special and unexpected! A very nice touch to relive the memories from the night before!\r\rFor our guests, it was a true luxury to have all of the events in one spot, from being all together at the pub Friday and Saturday night to stumbling down to Sunday Brunch. It sure beat dealing with the hassle and cost of transportation for everyone. People came as guests and left as new family and friends. It truly gave us the feel of a \"destination wedding\" without leaving my home state!\r\rThe Heritage knows how to do weddings. They know what works and what does not. Do not be afraid to ask for something because they will bend over backwards to make it happen and at a fraction of the price of other venues in the area! Everyone at the heritage was very helpful and made my reception look beautiful. Jen helped me through the entire experience she answered all my questions and made my vision come true. The have great packages to choose from and the hotel has alot to offer. Reviewed on 18-12-2011
Jennifer Schepp(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-10-2011 We used the Heritage as our wedding venue and also for accomidations for the wedding. First let me say that the wedding planner, Jennifer and Maitre D, Chris, were great. Jennifer always got back to me promptly with any questions I had and was super nice throughout the whole process. She and the Maitre D Chris, were both there the day of the wedding to make sure things went off smoothly. \r\rNow onto the venue, yes, The Heritage is a great place for a fall wedding. We had our ceremony in the rock garden where the leaves had not been blown out since last year. Part of the Heritage building itself is rotting in the corner of the building. Did anyone notice the day of the wedding? I am sure they didnt, but I did. You do have to bring things into the rock garden to spruce it up. I brought in mums, pumpkins, hay bails and a ton of candles which the staff did set out for me. (and they cleaned them up after the wedding which was super nice). The steak was overcooked for our guests. We heard nothing but praises about the chicken and salmon. \r\rThe bakery that the facility uses, Edible Dreams was responsible for making our cake. We chose spice cake to go along with our fall theme. Only one layer of the cake was spice cake, and the rest was vanilla cake. I was not thrilled about that. \r\rIn addition, we had wedding crashers in our ceremony, separate crashers in our photo booth and a random person signed my guest book. \r\rAll in all, it was a beautiful wedding. I am sure as the bride, I am the only one that noticed the small things. It was difficult for us to find a venue that would allow 118 people on a Saturday night and that is how we ended up at The Heritage. At $100 a person, I would have expected the steak to be better, but it is wedding food and they were making 70 of them at once. I gave the overall rating of a 3 instead of a 5 due to the conditions in the rock garden, the overcooked food, wedding crashers and my friend who had to leave the hotel at 4 AM due to a leak in the room above her. The Hotel did refund her money and gave her another night free to stay. In addition, my mother paid for my room on Friday night and asked the hotel staff to let me know upon my check out. When I checked out I was told it was paid for, but they did not know by whom. In the end, I would give the venue 4 stars, because of it's New England charm (however, you do have to spice it up a bit yourself which can be done fairly cheap with some mason jar candles and flowers) and the hotel a 3 for the service. The hotel it self is a bit run down, but otherwise is nice with nice facilities. Reviewed on 18-10-2011
