Nestled in Bluffton, South Carolina, Hewitt Oaks is a secluded luxury venue that hosts weddings and other special events. Founders Christopher and Bethany Hewitt began this beautiful Lowcountry retreat in 2018 and have hosted special celebrations here from the opening. You can enjoy the privacy and beauty of this exclusive setting for your wedding festivities. Facilities and Capacity The venue is situated within a verdant 25-acre property featuring groves of live oak trees and peaceful waterside views. This beautiful piece of the South Carolina Lowcountry offers wonderful options for your celebrations. Gracie Ballroom is the primary of two indoor venues. It can accommodate up to 230 guests for a seated event and up to 300 for a cocktail party. Featuring climate control, interchangeable lighting, and plentiful restrooms, the ballroom is the ideal location for your wedding reception! Huling Hall and Chapel is the perfect spot for an indoor ceremony, cocktail hour, or special event. Featuring vaulted ceilings, 80” x 40” windows that run along each side, and arched wooden doorways that frame each end, the space is bright and open. Up to 200 guests can be seated for a ceremony or 60 for a seated dinner. The building is climate controlled and includes both a restroom and a private lounge. Connaughton Cottage provides on-site accommodations and makes an excellent get-ready space to prepare and relax before your ceremony. It includes two bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, a living room with fireplace, full kitchen, and laundry facilities. Several outdoor ceremony sites are available for exchanging your vows. The most popular locations are the Promise Tree for up to 300 guests and the Angel Oak Canopy for up to 200 guests seated or 300 standing. Rider’s Courtyard and Cardinal Courtyard are both lovely locations for exchanging vows, greeting guests during cocktail hour, or dancing the night away for the reception. Paver stones created exclusively for our venue were designed to protect high heel shoes and create a smooth surface for guests with mobility concerns. The Meadow is the perfect spot for tenting to accommodate up to 500 guests. Level, professionally sodded, and sprinkler-watered daily, this gorgeous spot is another unique gem of the property. Services Offered Hewitt Oaks is proud to offer all-inclusive wedding packages that encompass the venue, cocktail hour and reception catering, cutting cake and petite desserts, bars and bartending, florals, design, wedding planning services, and rental items such as tables. Our in-house catering, floral, design, and planning teams provide on site services to make your special day both beautiful and delicious! We offer 3 customizable pre-set package options as well as a bespoke package to meet the needs of every vision and budget.

I cannot say enough good things about Hewitt oaks and Southern Graces Wedding Planners. They made every dream of mine and my husbands come true, even down to our late night nacho bar and not so traditional Pittsburgh Cookie Table that people still rave about anytime we talk about the wedding. Crystal was a rock star and make everything so simple and easy, I didn’t have to worry about any of the “stress” that comes along with wedding planning because I had someone I trusted 100% to make all my dreams come true. I recommend Hewitt Oaks to anyone I talk to that’s planning a wedding!!

WOW! Look no further, Hewitt Oaks is your sophisticated, elegant, and timeless venue that really covers it all...planning support and catering in the stunning Lowcountry. We were looking for a venue that accentuated the natural beauty of the area and was capable of providing a wonderful experience for our special day. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, reception, and dancing all outside under the angel oaks. The Hewitt Oaks team took our vision and brought it to life! I am not sure if we got more compliments on the food (which was delicious), the venue including the landscaping, or the overall experience the Hewitt Oaks team provided. We worked with Madi Campbell whose unyielding patience, guidance, and support during the planning process was unparalleled. The Hewitt Oaks team made our wedding dreams come true and we will forever cherish the memories they helped us make on our special day.

I cannot recommend Hewitt Oaks enough- they made our wedding day perfect and we were blown away! Having planners, florals and food included with Hewitt Oaks makes your life so much easier. I could not have planned my wedding without them! Our main point of contact was Madi and she was warm, calm, communicative and creative. We loved working with her! The entire Hewitt Oaks team was easy to communicate with- we had regular emails, calls and texts leading up to the wedding day. The venue itself is beautiful with plenty of options for ceremony + reception spaces. They really work hard to make the day exactly how you want it and pay attention to small details! They took so much off of our plates and made the wedding planning process as smooth as possible. Easy 5 stars- book them!!

BOOK HEWITT OAKS FOR YOUR WEDDING! Trust me, you will not regret it. The natural beauty of Hewitt Oaks is unmatched. It is even more stunning in person than in photos. The food catered on site by Chef Christopher is unbelievably delicious, by far the best food I have ever eaten at a wedding. They provide the highest quality florals and rentals to put beautiful finishing touches on an already gorgeous setting. But what really sets Hewitt Oaks apart from any other venue is the friendliness and professionalism of the staff and their all inclusive packages. Hewitt Oaks, and especially our rockstar wedding planner Crystal, made the entire planning process a breeze and flawlessly executed our event on the day of the wedding. Everyone at Hewitt Oaks went above and beyond to ensure that me, my husband, and our families could relax and enjoy every moment of the day. We will be forever grateful for the memories this provided us!Hewitt Oaks absolutely knows how to throw the perfect wedding. We are blown away by their venue, food, planning services, and their entire staff and I can't recommend them highly enough!

Had our wedding here last month and it was everything we wanted it to be and more. The venue is just so unbelievably gorgeous! From the very beginning to the end, the Hewitt Oaks staff were incredible. We had a year after we signed with them before our wedding and during that time, they sent us cute Christmas packages, date night gifts and more. They are just very thoughtful and genuine people that truly care about their couples.The staff are amazing, the food is to die for, the venue and planning is incredible. You can’t go wrong! I feel like Hewitt Oaks is a hidden gem that will take off in the next few years. They also provided a recommended vendors list that had some seriously incredible people on it. We relied on Hewitt Oaks for pretty much everything they could do in house- even the recs of the other vendors they couldn’t provide! I had my dream wedding with wonderful vendors and people to share it with. Truly thankful to have found Hewitt Oaks as our wedding venue. ❤️❤️

Even though we are not using Hewitt Oaks as our venue (yet to be found) I wanted to compliment their entire process from start to finish. Specifically, Amy was a wonderful resource and was available and fast to answer all of our NUMEROUS questions. We hope to be able to come back later when it is more in our budget, but we are so sad to go elsewhere in the meantime. DO NOT HESITATE to reach out to the wonderful folks here.

Hewitt Oaks has been great from the beginning until the end. We had to postpone because of Covid and I have family from Canada. They helped us find a new date and it was very easy. Planning was easy, the food tasting was great (delicious food) and the day of the wedding was more than perfect. Everybody was so nice and welcoming. I definitely recommend this venue 100%. It is gorgeous there and our pictures are unbelievable!

Hewitt Oaks is such a beautiful venue. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding day. The all inclusive wedding packages make wedding planning a breeze. Bethany and her team were so easy to work with. Brigette our planner was always quick to respond to any of our questions and concerns, which was perfect as we were planning a destination wedding at their venue and had to travel. Set up and tear down was as simple as could be as they took care of it all for us! Decor and florals were arranged with our package and they honestly couldn’t have been more perfect. The food was incredible from appetizers to dessert buffet. Our specialty cocktail was delish and they even let us name it after our cat back home, Peachy. I genuinely can’t say enough positive things about this venue. If you are considering Hewitt Oaks for your special day, we would say go for it! You won’t be disappointed!

Hewitt Oaks was absolutely a dream! We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day. Kristyn, our coordinator, made sure our day ran so smoothly. Our food was FANTASTIC! They made sure every little detail was taken care of so that we could truly enjoy our day with our loved ones. Our family and friends have all reached out to us to tell us how much fun they had and that they truly enjoyed their time at our wedding. All the staff at Hewitt Oaks really makes you feel at home from the second you have your first call to your venue tour up to your big day! I couldn't have asked for anything better.

Hewitt Oaks venue did an amazing job in making our wedding reception just perfect! When I walked into our reception, it looked just like the way I had shared with Kristyn and even better! Not only was the reception set up just the way I had envisioned but the food was amazing!! Our wedding guests said that the appetizers and the main meal was the best reception food that they had ever had!! If I could give more stars, I would!

I highly recommend using Hewitt Oaks for your wedding day. They have petite wedding packages that were able to accommodate our smaller guest list (due to COVID) all while still making the day feel super magical. Our day was set to be outside, ceremony and reception, however, there was a threat of rain. The staff was quickly able to move the reception inside seamlessly. Moving the reception indoors was probably the best decision, our guests never left the dance floor. I think this would have been different if we stayed outside, since it was so hot out. Food was delicious! Signature drink was delightful and refreshing. It was also super helpful they handed all the details by dealing with the flowers, cake, centerpieces, etc. The staff, all around, were super sweet and helpful. Kristyn, my day of coordinator made sure things ran smoothly and she is such a sweetheart.My only and biggest disappointment was the photographer. We had our photographer included in our package. I was not able to gain access to her information beforehand, which is fine! However, I would have preferred having a conference call between Hewitt Oaks, the photographer and myself to go over what I wanted and my expectations. The grounds on Hewitt Oaks is one of the main reasons I was drawn to it and I just felt our photographer did not utilize that to her advantage. Many of our photos had the same background (one of the buildings). I wanted the trees and Spanish moss to be a big aspect of our day and photos and there were not many, so that was a huge let down.Overall, this is the perfect wedding location with that great southern charm. The staff went above and beyond and our day was absolutely beautiful.

My husband and I discovered this secret gem when I was trying to find an affordable venue that was loaded with oak trees! To our surprise it was basically all inclusive with food, gorgeous rentals, byob, florals, and event planning. All of this made it 500x less stressful to plan. Crystal was a dream to work with and made the day perfect for us!! She’s simply the BEST! Our guests are still raving about how it was the most beautiful wedding they’ve been to and how amazing the food was, and that the cake was the best they ever had! As a bride to bride, trust me you’ll want to book here! Absolutely perfect day. Crystal, thank you again for making our dream come true!

Hewitt Oaks blew us away for our wedding. We had a two month engagement and COVID micro-wedding. Hewitt Oaks made our two month engagement not just possible, but incredible. They handled the food, cake, decor, florals, everything you could imagine. And it was all INCREDIBLE. Delicious food, gorgeous florals, and the most beautiful wedding and reception I’ve ever seen. Our wedding was so much better than we could have anticipated and Hewitt Oaks was the perfect venue.
