Iva, SC. Standing proud upon the gentle slope of a green hill, this stunning white barn venue is a destination in and of itself. Couples seeking a destination that combines location, style and great facilities need look no further than its white walls. The story of Heyward Manor is a true family affair that spans generations of the Black clan. Brothers Don and Jake built the venue on Charlies Creek Nursery, an expansive tree farm that they founded with their father Heyward Black. More than just a barn, this gorgeous space was built to make wedding dreams come true, including those of the family. Indeed the first wedding hosted at the venue was that of Heyward Black’s granddaughter. Those celebrating their big day will be struck by the immense feeling of space upon entering the manor whose ceiling reaches to celestial heights. Its white color-palette and huge windows create a scene full of light, contrasted by rugged wooden beams. Touches such as antique furniture and crystal chandeliers add an elegance to the setting only paralleled by the grounds outside. The venue is a photographer's delight and the perfect scene for a tasteful photoshoot full of rustic character. Those exchanging vows can pose on the balcony overlooking the manor, or down by the waterfront for idyllic photos. As the sun falls and celebrations continue into the night, couples can take a break from the festivities in the private bridal suite. I am not sure where to start! Heyward Manor was an absolutely PERFECT venue for my daughter's special day. Tori Beth, Mrs. Libby, and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The service, attention to detail, and professionalism was top notch. The grounds are breathtaking and the buildings are stunning. I couldn't imagine a more perfect location! Heyward Manor is definitely the wedding venue of your dreams!

We chose Heyward Manor for our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding. The minute I walked into the venue I knew it was the perfect place for the wedding. They had the most beautiful wedding. The venue was perfect the weather was perfect and the staff was amazing. They are very helpful and very detail oriented which I am. They answered all our questions and were very helpful with suggestions and ideas to make the wedding amazing. I would highly recommend them.

Absolutely gorgeous venue. We walked in and immediately knew this was where we wanted to be married. The staff is competent and kind; they treat you like family. My pictures are amazing. I loved it! The farmhouse tables come with the venue and add character to the entire reception. I love how much they care about the land and the effort they put into keeping the flowers beautiful.

Heyward Manor is simply a beautiful venue. Pictures never do it justice! The bridal suite is stunning, the views from the windows made it so fun as I got to sit and watch our guest coming in! The lake adds to the beauty in its very own way!

Heyward Manor was the most perfect place to have my wedding. The Black's have been family friends for years, and I couldn't imagine having it anywhere else. The venue itself is beyond gorgeous. Although they've only been open for a few years, they work with so many vendors regularly, and they're able to provide suggestions if you don't know where to start! They are always looking for ways to spruce up the landscape and add in more flowers/decorations, so a wedding in April could look very different from a wedding in July. I'm so lucky to have had my wedding here and would recommend it to anyone and everyone!

Although my wedding has not taken place yet, let me say that if people only knew the history of this place, they would see the beauty is in the sacred land. Looking forward to things coming full circle from my youth to marriage.

Heyward Manor made every one of our wedding dreams come true! The Black family went above and beyond to make our day all that we could’ve asked for and more. They made our day and the process leading up to it so peaceful and smooth. You will not meet a more genuine family, and they truly want the best for you and for your wedding day. The incredible scenery together with the immaculate detail and beauty of the barn make Heyward Manor the most magnificent venue for wedding of all styles. Having our wedding here was truly the best decision we made throughout our entire wedding planning process, and it will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thankful ❤️
