Come experience the Texas Hill Country's Newest Wedding Venue located just 1/3 mile from Historic Downtown Gruene on the beautiful Guadalupe River. Weddings can be held indoors in our beautiful 12,000-square-foot venue or outdoors under the shade of majestic oak trees. We had our wedding in October at the hidden gem and my wife Angela was connected with Joey and when he learned we were wanting to have a wedding him and Katie went above and beyond to help and support us even before we decided to go forward with their venue. We chose hidden gem and we would not have had it any other way. They level of service and care Katie and Joey and their team show is remarkable. They take their time to go over every detail and take them time to orchestrate a magical day for you. They check in throughout the process before the wedding and they helped us with ideas and provided vendors to help. We love The Hidden Gem and our day was amazing all because of a team that cares and treats you like family. They made all of wishes and dreams come to life! Please if you are wanting a beautiful venue with amazing views and an amazing facility and with amazing owners this is where you need to be. If we could do it all over again we would do it again with Hidden Gem of Gruene.

Absolutely beautiful venue! We had both the ceremony and reception inside the event center due to weather. We loved that we had an indoor or outdoor option for the ceremony. This venue is pretty spacious with plenty of room for tables and a dance floor. Bev was always so kind and very punctual with communication and meeting with us. Many of us stayed at the resorts located across from the event center. They are super convenient and perfect for large families. I highly recommend this venue!

Old Mill was the perfect place for my daughter's wedding. She wanted an indoor wedding due to the hot Texas weather- but an outdoor area for pictures and cocktail hour. Bev was absolutely amazing! She coordinated EVERYTHING! Day of vendor instructions, security, ROTC room flipping, set up and clean up- literally everything. It's a beautiful venue and well worth the money.

We had majority of our guests joining us from out of town and wanted to create a whole weekend and have everything & everyone be in one location. We did Welcome Drinks by the pool on Friday, the ceremony & reception on property, and then Sunday Brunch in the central area of the condos. Everything turned out fantastic! We had 10 condos for the weekend and it was perfect to have everyone there. The condos are beautiful, and the event space was lovely and didn't need much decor. Bev was super helpful all along the planning process, she was super responsive and offered solutions and alternatives when needed. We got a ton of compliments on the whole property and are so glad we went with Old Mill!

When we walked into the event center, we knew immediately that we need not look any further. This was the perfect spot for our daughter to have her wedding reception. It was the perfect location on Gruene Road, right by all the fun things people do in Gruene. Only minutes from our church and all of our family and out of town guests were able to stay right on site. Bonus bride and groom suite was such a welcome addition to the package !! The venue has so many options for setting up for the reception room and tables. Every table has a view of the entire venue (no beams hindering your view) .We liked that we had full control over our vendors and were not under any obligation to use certain ones. The tables, chairs, tablecloths, etc. all were provided and they let us come in a few days early to move things around (Thank you Gilbert) after we added more tables. It is a very new resort and has so much to offer. Bev was available on site anytime we needed and we came in many times to look and see what we had envisioned for the Wedding reception. She was so helpful and just a gracious host that eased my mind and calmed the nerves. I am so grateful to you Bev. Hannah and Matthew's wedding reception could not have been more perfect. Thank you so very much.

I absolutely loved having my wedding here! Bev was an absolute blessing throughout the entire wedding process she responded to me quickly if I had any questions and always gave me the exact answer I needed. She was very nice and helpful to not only me but my entire family as well she let us change things and move around things however we wanted and was very flexible with our rehearsal dinner. The Old Mill was a great venue for my daughters wedding. It was a little pricey for my liking and there were some stipulations in the contract… but, it is a beautiful location and the people are GREAT to work with. They will bend over backward to make sure your event goes well. BTW, There are rooms available for guests to reserve and they are awesome! I slept so good!!!

What a beautiful wedding we had at Old Mill for my daughter! I mostly dealt with Jennifer and she was wonderful! Answered my emails very promptly. My family and some of our guest stayed at the condos after the wedding. What a convenience that was. The condos are beautiful and we slept great!! My husband and I are very grateful for the vendor’s professionalism and genuine desire to help make our day the best it could be. We were originally scheduled to be married March 21st but due to COVID-19 we had to postpone. The venue was very supportive and accommodated our new date without any issues on June 6th. All our guests had a great time and provided us positive feedback. This venue is a great place to have a wedding.

We were originally scheduled to be married March 21st but due to COVID-19 we had to postpone. The venue was very supportive and accommodated our new date without any issues on June 6th. This was the perfect venue for out October 15th wedding. The venue itself we fell in love with the first time we visited, and when we left, we both knew that is where we wanted to get married. Outside we had our wedding ceremony, and I loved it because it was a perfect spot under the trees, at night they had lights in the trees, and the walkway made walking down the aisle easy for everyone (young and old). Once our ceremony was finished, we moved the wedding inside to the reception hall, which was so beautiful and spacious. From the bridal suites, to the groom room, and restrooms, it is all so amazing, clean and perfectly thought out (details are key). We also loved the rooms that are located on the property where the venue is located. We loved being close to our room incase we needed to grab something from our room, and a plus was that the rooms were so beautiful and very clean!! Our family and friends stayed in the rooms that whole weekend, and it was fun being able to go to each others room and hang out! They LOVED the rooms and they kept talking about how it was perfect that it was right by the venue and how they could stay there and not have to drive anywhere. Everything about this place is great, and I can say that I had my dream wedding at the Old Mill Resort. Besides the venue, and rooms being awesome, the staff at the Old Mill Resort is so wonderful. Bev, Denise, Jennifer and the other staff were so helpful, and helped our wedding experience be as stress free and memorable as possible. I was sad to leave the day after the wedding, because they were the sweetest and I know I will never forget each of the staff that made our wedding the perfect wedding. Thank you Old Mill Resort!!!
