Hidden Mountain Resort was founded on the principals of family and togetherness. Owners Butch and Breda Smith opened the resort in 1981, with the dream of building an idyllic log cabin retreat. Decades later they are still welcoming guests to experience the natural wonders of the surrounding mountains and woodland. Their business has grown from a select few cabins, simply decorated by the family, to a collection of the Smokie’s most luxurious accommodations. Hidden Mountain Resort appeals to couples who want to escape the bustle of modern life to a world of peace, tranquility, and harmony with nature. The property spans lush forestland of vibrant, tree-covered hills, dotted here and there with the still waters of several lakes. To-be-weds can choose to exchange their vows on one of several sites. The Prayer Garden offers itself as a glorious mountain-top venue with stunning views over the local town of Pigeon Forge. Here in the still mountain air couples can declare their love in an intimate ceremony, sheltered under a rustic handbuilt gazebo. The resort’s Lodge is a cozy setting that can welcome receptions for up to 150 friends and family. Its classic mountain-cabin style decor combines warm wooden paneling with hand-built stone walls to create a secluded stylish retreat. Hidden Resort’s staff is happy to assist couples in celebrating their big day and can provide a range of wedding-related services. These include coordination with outside vendors and organizing accommodation for any guests. The management can also provide guests with information on the surrounding area, which is full of sights to see and adventures to be had.
