Lakeside Chic for a Wedding Retreat
Nestled in Apison, TN, Hidden Springs Venue is a countryside location for weddings and events. It is situated on a 170-acre property brimming with woodlands on the shores of a lake spanning nine acres. The professionals running the venue strive to ensure that the grounds offer a space where couples can share experiences to be treasured long after the last dance. Hidden Springs Venue was a former youth camp before being purchased by Tom and Julie Willumson in 2019. They refurbished the antique structures while adding contemporary comforts to create an idyllic place for lovebirds to gather family and friends. Trees reaching lofty heights envelop the landscape while paths wind through the shade at this picturesque locale. Both small and large weddings can be hosted at Hidden Springs Venue and it is possible to book the barn for the whole weekend. The pastoral structure has a white facade with wood accents and features large doors on all four sides. This allows the building to be opened up for guests to enjoy views of nature. Owing to the property’s past as a youth camp, there are cabins nestled across the grounds. These have been renovated for you and guests to stay the night. Two cabins possess layouts suited for couples and there are dressing-room spaces available. The cabins' designs are chic and modern with a rustic twist. Together, the buildings can accommodate up to 44 people for overnight stays. These many amenities provide you, your sweetheart, and those you love a charming setting to mark the start of your newlywed life in style.

Having my wedding at Hidden Springs Venue was truly a dream. The team went above and beyond expectations. Their communication was incredible and made me feel so at peace about the day. They worked wonderfully with me months before to the day of. Everyone raved and continues to rave about how beautiful it was, especially the lakeside ceremony and cabins for family! The reason my fiancé and I picked this one was because of how genuine of a space it is. My fiancé and I didn’t think we’d find a space that reflected us and felt we could relax in, until we found HSV! I truly can’t say enough about this venue! We love them!!!!

Hidden Springs had everything we needed in a wedding venue. We looked at several venues in the Chattanooga and Nashville areas and could not be happier that we landed here. The lakefront property is beautiful, and we felt good about having multiple options for ceremony locations in case of rain. We had the best time working with Paige to plan our wedding day. She was outstanding and such a calming and organized presence that every bride needs. Paige thought of small details that we never would have, and these things were crucial in making the planning go so smoothly. She took our stress away every time we asked a question, and she had an instant answer or solution. Hidden Springs thought of everything and made our wedding day so special!

Hidden Spring was the perfect space for our wedding! We wanted a spot that we could really make our own and get creative with the vision we had for our wedding. Valerie & Paige were totally onboard with helping us setup a very non-traditional wedding and made it truly an epic few days. The space itself is incredible (minimal need for decoration as the scenery is so beautiful). We stayed on property the day/night before the wedding and the cabins were perfect. Very thoughtful, comfortable, beautifully done and the perfect space to celebrate with friends and family. The fact that the space was also built for weddings just means that everything runs really smoothly. The team was so helpful and ensured we had everything we needed to be present in the day. We really can't recommend Hidden Springs enough, it totally knocked our socks off and made our wedding so special!

Our wedding day at Hidden Springs Venue was incredible! We were lucky enough to have some great weather, but knew that if we needed to move indoors that the day would be just as fantastic. Paige and the rest of the HSV team was a pleasure to work with and made the big day so easy for everyone involved. The rentals and decor available from the venue for use were so helpful, especially as an out of town couple. We also rented out the cabins for the night of the wedding and we were so impressed with how easy “check in” and “check out” was for everyone coming in from out of town. The big fire pit at the top of the cabin hill was a huge hit and helped make our evening so special. I would absolutely recommend HSV to anyone looking for a wedding venue in the Chattanooga area. I am still so happy with our choice and loved every minute of our day.

The ladies went above and beyond to make sure every single detail was absolutely perfect. From checking with our vendors to decorating- these ladies did it all! I cannot recommend this venue enough. All we had to do was show up- how much more stress free can you get!? We will definitely be back to vacation in one of the cabins ❤️

Hidden Springs Venue is such a beautiful place to have a wedding! The surrounding wooden area is just beautiful and private. Julie and her team have done so much to the place and are constantly making it even more beautiful. They were so easy to work with and really want you to have the wedding of your dreams! The bridal and groomsmen cabins are decorated right out of a Pottery Barn catalog. Loved all of it! They also have a closet full of table decorations, free to use if you want. Thank you for all your help especially getting a tent for me at the last minute due to the expected rain. Even though, I couldn't have my ceremony out by the beautiful pond, everybody tried so hard to make my wedding day special and they did an awesome job! Thank you to Paige, Valerie, and Kensley for making the experience so easy and memorable.

Hidden Springs was our perfect wedding venue! They were so accomadating throughout the whole process, answered emails quickly, and overall made sure our day was amazing. Paige and Valerie were rockstars and so easy to talk to! We did the whole weekend so we had plenty of time to set up, rehearse, and chill before the wedding. And we had cabins for everyone which was a big plus! My only comment would be for better lighting in the bridal suite near the makeup stations haha. Overall it was amazing and we had a fantastic wedding day!

Even though it rained throughout the entire day, the staff were so calm and flexible as we shifted partially into the barn and brought in a tent for the courtyard. The Venue alone is breath taking but the staff at Hidden Springs is there to help you achieve all your wedding dreams. Anything I needed to help reach the look I was going for they were there to help. The extra decor closet, the suggestions, and the help with execution helped my the day perfect. Having all the cabins on site was so ideal for helping make the day relaxing and convenient!

This venue is SO GORGEOUS!!! If you just want the event barn, with the ceremony outside overlooking the lake, or a weekend getaway wedding where family and friends stay in the cabins on site, this venue is perfect. The team at Hidden Springs Venue went above and beyond to make our wedding planning smooth and the day of to go smooth as well. During the venue search, HSV allowed us to come stay in one of their cabins the night before they gave us a tour of all the other cabins and the event barn/ceremony space. They also have free decor collections, as well as decor rentals that you can choose from and they’ll set it out for you to decorate with. We booked them for 3 day (Friday-Sunday). Friday night we had the rehearsal dinner there and had all day to set up for that and the ceremony the next day. Then on Sunday, we had the morning to clean up and pack up. About a month before the wedding, they will take you through a final walk through of the wedding to finalize the floor plan and where the vendors will set up. They were also clear with the clean up and other “rules”—nothing crazy or anything. I worked with Paige during the whole process and she was so helpful with any questions I had, and she was there on the day to help with things my coordinator couldn’t, etc. Recommend 10000000%

Hidden Springs was the PERFECT venue for my wedding and the style I wanted. I was determined to do it outside, but wanted it to be more woodsy and boho rather than farm-y. At Hidden Springs I got to have my wedding outside in the woods overlooking a beautiful pond, but have my reception inside the modern barn! Hidden Springs was the perfect wedding venue. The property is so beautifully set. We had access to all of the renovated cabins for our guests to stay overnight. The staff was so accommodating. They allowed us onto the property a month prior so that we could \"Bury the Bourbon\" for good weather on the big day. They left gift baskets in each of the cabins full of locally sourced goods for our guests. Hidden Springs made our wedding day better than we could have ever imagined.

The venue was great, they didn't have the cabin ready in time for the guys which was the biggest bummer, but they were super accommodating on where we wanted to have the ceremony . The location was beautiful and the property is only getting better. I wish I could have my wedding there again to do the reception outside by the trees.

Wow! I can't say enough good things about this place. My husband and I were able to to book our date only about THREE months until our wedding, and the staff at Hidden Springs helped us to navigate the stress of planning on such short notice! Planning was great with how flexible and customizable things were! The bridal suite is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and it's impossible not to feel like a princess in there. The location is tucked just far enough way, but not at all hard to find, and was still convenient enough for my mom to run into town on wedding day and grab some things. The barn has a rustic yet modern feel that fit our style perfectly :) Above all, Paige Hicks and the staff here were absolutely amazing. She was very accommodating and flexible throughout the whole process and made our day so special. She worked out any issues so professionally, but was still laid back enough to feel like a friend! Since our wedding, they've even added some features that really elevate this place. Pricing and contracts were transparent and easy to navigate, and you get more than what you pay for here. Wow! I can't say enough good things about this place. My husband and I were able to to book our date only about THREE months until our wedding, and the staff at Hidden Springs helped us to navigate the stress of planning on such short notice! Hidden Springs Venue is truly a hidden gem. The drive is worth the view and completely amazing staff... and it’s actually really close to town and the interstate. We got married in December and, thankfully, had perfect weather. Wedding planning can be stressful but the staff at Hidden Springs were so accommodating and helpful through the entire process. From the time we booked to the day of our wedding, we knew we were in good hands. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a venue from 5 to 120 guests. It is gorgeous and detailed in every way. The cabins made for a memorable time with family while celebrating our marriage.

Paige (Events Director) Before coming to Hidden Springs, I was a wedding coordinator for several years and had multiple internships in the wedding industry. I enjoy connecting with other vendors, as well as getting to know our couples and their love stories and unique visions for their wedding weekends.
