Hillbrook Inn was the perfect wedding venue! We did the lunch minimony (28 guests total) and the planning process was seamless, communication with Michelle the event coordinator was great and we were able to customize each element to match our style and preferences. The day of the wedding there was a problem with the original venue an hour before the ceremony and Michelle and the rest of the staff were able to move the entire wedding to a new location in less than an hour. Everything ran smoothly, the guests said the they would never have known there was a problem at all, the staff were friendly and professional, the food was delicious, and we all had an amazing time. Can't recommend Hillbrook Inn enough, specially if you're looking to do a small, intimate wedding where everything is taken care of. Reviewed on 04-09-2023
Heather Gale(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 29-09-2018 Words cannot describe how perfect my wedding at the Hillbrook Inn was! Marcy was my wedding coordinator and took care of all the details so I didn’t have to stress about a single thing besides my dress. She guided me seamlessly through the entire planning process. It was truly a fairytale wedding. Every detail was beyond perfect – the flowers, the cake, the violinist, the scenery, the service, the suites, and the food. All the guests were raving about the meal. Hillbrook Inn certainly has 5-star chefs. We had a small morning wedding in late September, 2018 and the grounds at Hillbrook Inn were lush, green, and full of life. Every picture we took had the most gorgeous backdrop. This place is truly a hidden gem. I highly recommend choosing Hillbrook Inn if you are looking for a stress-free, fairytale-like wedding. Reviewed on 12-12-2018
Alexa Littlejohn(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 04-11-2018 We got married at Hillbrook this past weekend with a very small group at the Hawthorn House, and it could not have been more perfect. Marcy, the event planner, was absolutely wonderful in every way. She made the whole experience so perfect and stress free. Her thoughtful details and kind attention made our day so smooth and easy. I never had to worry about a thing, because I knew that Marcy would take care of it! The house itself and the grounds were breathtaking, and the food was delicious. All of our guests were continually commenting on the beauty of the area and what a perfect choice Hillbrook was. We could not have asked for a better experience. Reviewed on 04-09-2017
Laura (bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 18-10-2014 I can't possibly recommend Hillbrook enough to other brides. I felt completely taken care of the entire process. Marcy and Carissa are both exceptional. We had about 50 guests. The catering is all done on site and I have been contacted by so many of the people who attended to thank me for the amazing food. It's a beautiful setting and they go out of their way to make sure everything is exactly how you want it to be. They also did our rehearsal dinner for us. As a little bed and breakfast, they are awesome at customer service. We are planning on going back for our one year anniversary. Reviewed on 04-11-2014
Cari Hilley(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 07-06-2014 I had the most wonderful weekend of my life! The amazing people responsible for the execution of our day made it possible for me to have the most beautiful memories and the most special experience anyone could ever have. The decision my now husband and I made to have our wedding ceremony at The Hillbrook Inn could never ever be labeled anything less than perfect. The staff treated us as royalty and went above and beyond what I could have expected. My special wedding coordinator Marcy tended to every single detail.\rThe planning was on point, and every detail that I had specified, from my flowers right down to the details of my cake were more than I had dreamed. Marcy formed us a timeline that kept everything on time starting and ending. They made suggestions that worked perfectly and additions that made things more than I could have ever imagined! She listened to me when I had concerns and adjustments without dispute throughout the planning process.\rI actually cannot think of one thing I had wanted that they said no to. If they did, they didn't let me know it, they just made alternatives that were better than my requests.\rAfter everything was over, my husband and I left the ground to attend a family gathering after our intimate wedding ceremony at Hillbrook. Upon returning, all of our ceremony flowers, including my bouquet and centerpieces were lovingly put into glass vases and decorated our cottage. It was a perfect and a very romantic touch. I gave Marcy my iPhone earlier in the day to use for my first dance in the tavern, she used the camera and took pictures of my ceremony setup while I was too busy getting ready, I only discovered this after the fact. I completely cried because I never did get to see it before everything started. She just knew what to do to make everything perfect. \rBesides all of those details, the food was WONDERFUL! We had our brunch chosen from our own selections and every guest was so full from eating all the food, there wasn't any room leftover for my cake :-) Which was okay, because I was full too. Our breakfast in the dining room before we left was also delicious. My husband does not care for yogurt, so when our first course was a yogurt parfait, he immediately handed over his dish for me to have. The waitress noticed when she returned and very nicely offered him a bowl of fruit instead. Although the menu is prefixed for everyone, they make small alternatives to accommodate to individual tastes.\rWe stayed in the Summer Cottage and plan to return to it every year. The wonderful King sized bed is so comfortable. I always have an issue sleeping in beds that are not my own, but I slept very peacefully in this one. The cottage is so inviting with the fireplace, the furniture, decor, large Jacuzzi tub, and everything else. There was just so many positives that I would never ever be able to describe it all in this review.\rAll that is left to say is that my husband and I plan to return to this wonderful place as often as we can be allowed. A part of both of our hearts were left behind when we left. The grounds and buildings are so breathtaking that even the strongest/uptight man would not be able to deny the beauty. Tears were definitely shed at our departure. Reviewed on 24-06-2014
Adria Patthoff(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 22-10-2011 We truly had an incredible wedding reception experience at Hillbrook on October, 22, 2011, all due to the work and thoughtful planning done by Carissa and her staff. We gave her mere words (barely a phrase!) and a few pictures to give an idea of what we wanted. From the bare minimum of information we provided, the day of the wedding was more than we ever imagined, down to the tiniest details. Our guests still compliment the our wedding and reception (nearly two years later!): from the twinkle lights out front to the table cards to the incredible meal served. We recommend the site (and particularly the staff!) to any one looking for an event that is easy to plan, easier to execute, and envelopes a sense of warmth and personalization throughout the process. Juliette Garemore(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 14-10-2012 Words cant express how happy I was to have chosen Hillbrook Inn for our wedding. From the moment we stepped foot on the property for that first meeting, until we left the day after our wedding, we felt cared for, special, and important. The amount of detail and personal attention that was given to our wedding by Carissa and her staff was second to none. Carissa even took the time to make sure my 89 yr old Grandmother was well taken care of on our busy wedding weekend. I would never get that kind of service in a hotel or banquet hall. Friends and relatives have commented on how our wedding really was \"perfect\" and I owe that to Hillbrook. From the beautiful scenery and landscaping, to the luxurious rooms, to the delicious food, and the staff that treats you like family, Hillbrook is the ideal place for a memorable and special (smaller) wedding. I know my wedding was as special as it was because we held it at Hillbrook. Reviewed on 24-09-2013

They also were able to accomidate our restrictive dietary needs.\r\rThere are not a lot of things to do at the actual Inn. Heidi Nelson(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 27-04-2013 I hosted my wedding reception at the Hillbrook Inn, and I could not have asked for a more beautiful location, more helpful staff, or a better experience overall. During the planning process, the owners were detail-oriented, prompt in answering questions, and always honest about things they could or could not accommodate with helpful suggestions for working around any issues that came up. It's a small, family owned and operated inn, and they work very hard to make sure no details slip through the cracks, that everything goes smoothly, and that all the guests are having a great time (they even drove my 85 year old grandmother to the side entrance in a golf cart when she couldn't navigate the stone walkway).\r\rOn the big day, the Hillbrook staff kept track of everything (and kept everything on time!), so I could just relax and enjoy the day. And the food was amazing (even this NYC foodie was extremely impressed!). They have a fantastic chef, and the guests were all raving about how delicious their meals were. The main house is a beautiful and charming structure with eclectic antique furnishings--the perfect atmosphere for my small, vintage-inspired wedding. The rooms are luxurious, and each one is unique. Plus, the inn is surrounded by natural beauty: flowers, trees, ponds with turtles swimming in them--the location is idyllic. \r\rThanks to the Hillbrook, it was a care-free, romantic, and happy day. My husband and I will definitely be back for a romantic getaway on our anniversary next year! Reviewed on 14-05-2013
