Located in Henrietta township near Amherst, OH, Hillcrest Orchards is a rustic wedding venue. This family-owned property is ready to host your important celebration. If you are seeking an organic and comfortable setting for your wedding, this country retreat may well be the place for you. The property that would become Hillcrest Orchards was purchased by the Dodd family in 1928, after they moved from their prior orchard in Bay Village, OH. The farm is still in family hands, now in the fourth and fifth generations. In 1936, the barn was constructed as a place to sort and package apples. This building has since been renovated as an event barn. This property also encompasses a patio area overlooking thousands of apple trees and the serene pond as well as a pair of 768 square-foot pavilions. Both the barn and the outdoor areas can host ceremonies or receptions of up to 160 guests in size. You may wed with scenic pastoral views or exchange your vows indoors in the charming event barn. Hillcrest Orchards hosts single-faith, multi-faith, non-religious, commitment, and vow renewal ceremonies as well as elopements, civil unions, and second weddings. The staff can help organize your celebration and connect you with preferred and reliable vendors to meet your catering, bartending, and service needs. You can make use of get-ready rooms to relax and prepare over the course of your big day. There's not a single detail I would have changed about our wedding at Hillcrest Orchards. The owners and their staff were kind, professional, efficient, and accommodating, and we were 100% confident in their ability to execute a perfect event--which they did. So many of our guests commented on how delicious the food was, the stunning beauty of the grounds and the reception barn, and the kindness and professionalism of the entire staff. I have nothing but wonderful memories of our wedding day because Hillcrest Orchards was the perfect venue.

There's not a single detail I would have changed about our wedding at Hillcrest Orchards. The owners and their staff were kind, professional, efficient, and accommodating, and we were 100% confident in their ability to execute a perfect event--which they did. So many of our guests commented on how delicious the food was, the stunning beauty of the grounds and the reception barn, and the kindness and professionalism of the entire staff. I have nothing but wonderful memories of our wedding day because Hillcrest Orchards was the perfect venue.

This is a little gem on the west side of Cleveland! We LOVED the barn/orchard setting. It is family owned, and they put a lot of care into their business. We really appreciated that many services were included with this venue, making our lives a lot easier. On top of being naturally beautiful, the food is amazing! *Max capacity for the barn is 160, not 200.Pros:- Catering/bar, service staff, tables/chairs, ceremony, and coordination of these are all included/available- Easy contact with venue coordinators and very accommodating, even with small details- Excellent food, great value- There is an indoor barn space and outdoor patio, which is very nice for guests who would rather visit instead of dance Cons:- Limited hotels near venue (1 or 2 within 10 min, most ~20 min)- Uber/Lyft can be unreliable due to being in the country (typical for a barn setting, should just warn guests to plan transportation ahead of time!)

My husband and I cannot say enough incredible things about Lindsay McGuire, Diane Dodd, Chef Kevin, and the entire staff at Hillcrest Orchards. We planned our October Ohio wedding from Los Angeles all during the time of COVID. Lindsay was attentive, professional, and worked with us and the COVID guidelines set in place by the state to make sure we still managed to have the wedding of our dreams. We dropped off our decorations the morning of the wedding reception for her staff to set up and she flawlessly executed our requests. My husband and I were asked multiple times by staff members if we needed anything throughout the evening; We were even delivered our next round of drinks without any sort of prompting. We enjoyed private hayrides out into the orchard and apple picking with our guests, and the fire pits were lit as soon as dusk hit. Our family raved about how stunning the grounds were, how romantic the barn was, how delicious the food was (get the goat cheese mac n cheese and the apple cider donuts, they DO NOT disappoint)... We heard on multiple occasions that it was the best wedding our guests had ever attended. We are simply speechless - I could genuinely go on and on and on about how much I recommend their services and their venue for ANY event. Thank you, thank you, thank you to Lindsay, Diane, Chef, and the entire Hillcrest Staff for a stunningly beautiful day; We cannot wait to make a yearly pilgrimage from LA to the orchard and relive this day over and over again.

My husband and I cannot say enough incredible things about Lindsay McGuire, Diane Dodd, Chef Kevin, and the entire staff at Hillcrest Orchards. My wife and I recently got married at Hillcrest Orchards and it was beyond perfect. We knew we wanted an outdoor barn venue for our wedding and I’m so happy we found Hillcrest. It is a hidden gem. Lindsay, Diane and Kevin were all so helpful throughout the whole process. Our biggest concern when it came to finding a venue was staying within budget and they worked with us every step of the way to help us accomplish that. We had our ceremony and reception there, which made the whole event a breeze. We went from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception without skipping a beat. Lindsay is absolutely amazing with her attention to detail and keeping everything on schedule. Weddings are hectic, but she made the entire day run smoothly from beginning to end. The venue was gorgeous, the staff was amazing, the food was hands down the best food we have ever had at a wedding. Everyone we talked to had nothing but great things to say about the venue, staff, food and drinks. It was everything we could have asked for and more. We highly recommend Hillcrest Orchards. You will not be disappointed! We cannot wait to go back!!

We had our wedding here in the Fall and we cannot say enough amazing things about the whole experience! Our guests could not stop RAVING about the food, and neither could we. Kevin worked with us to create a completely unique menu for our event and gave us his suggestions as well. He was able to work with my husbands food allergies (gluten, dairy, soy to name a few) and it was such a relief for us to know that my husband could enjoy all the food at our wedding. Lindsay was FREAKING AMAZING. She coordinated every last detail of our day and was available for my endless amount of questions. They are such a great team, and we cannot say enough good things about them! Please go eat their food, I still have dreams about the Mac N' Cheese and it's been 5 months. I can't wait to spend the summers on the patio with their own hard ciders and great food!

I can't say enough good things about our experience with Hillcrest Orchards. My husband and I live in Los Angeles, but wanted to get married in Ohio where I am from. I was so nervous to plan a wedding from 2,000 miles away, but when we found this venue, it really started to come together. They checked off so many boxes on the to-do list. We now had a perfect place for the ceremony and reception, an amazing caterer, and a day-of coordinator to work with. Diane, Kevin, and Lindsay were helpful and professional throughout the whole process. They also made you feel like you were family. I really appreciated that, especially on the big day. Everything went smoothly. The food was absolutely delicious, and we received so many compliments from our guests. Everyone kept asking how we had found this place. Since it was through the Knot, I had to come leave a review. I highly recommend working with the team at Hillcrest Orchards. We look forward to visiting whenever we are back home.

We just got married at Hillcrest Orchards. We did both the ceremony and reception there. Everything turned out better than we could've imagined. The weather wasn't the greatest and they made some last minute changes to the ceremony and it was seamless. Bill and Diane personally directed our guests for parking due to the weather and Lindsay, our coordinator, was a pleasure to work with. The orchard was still beautiful in the overcast, misty day that we had. Definitely would recommend this venue!

We LOVED getting married and planning our wedding with Hillcrest Orchards! The venue was the perfect rustic venue with an apple orchard twist. Our guests enjoyed doing all the fall activities before the ceremony, and our ceremony was outdoors along the orchard. Our wedding photos turned out absolutely beautiful along the apples! The indoor barn reception was not \"barn\" at all! It was glammed with string lights and perfect for our vision. The venue contract made everything so easy with most of the decorations and bridal house included. Plus, the Hillcrest orchard family were amazing! Shout out to Diane and Lindsay for always emailing me and keeping in touch. Shout out to chef Kevin for making delicious fall foods that were original to only our wedding! Finally, thank you to the wonderful kitchen staff who always made sure Stephen and I were comfortable and happy the day of! I couldn't have asked for a better venue!!

I don't even know where to start.. 5 stars is not even enough. I had a vision of what my wedding would be like and this was everything and more . Not only was the venue absolutely beautiful and perfect but all the people at hillcrest orchard really deserve the recognistion. lindsay, diane and Kevin made this day all come together. They were the most genuine, helping family. I can't send enough thank you's for how they made our day perfect through the whole process . we used hillcrest orchard for our food and I am soooo happy we did . We just had our wedding at the orchard on September 16th. Everything went smoothly and according to the plan. I was so nervous about the whole wedding, venue, catering etc. Fortunately for us, we found this place and they made it all happen. They really cared about what I wanted and my worries and I felt like I was dealing with good friends by the time of the actual wedding.
