Look no further than Hillside Country Club for your wedding venue or honestly any event you are hosting. We had our wedding back in October 2023 and every single thing was perfect. Hillside Country Club has the best staff there is to help you book and plan your perfect day and is right by your side to make sure the entire day runs smoothly. The Director of Sales and Events, Sara, exceeded all our expectations for a wedding coordinator. She responded to every email in a timely fashion, answered all our million questions and made everything so easy for us. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful from the ceremony to the cocktail hour to the reception. We received so many compliments from our guests on how remarkable the venue was. Also, the venue offers some amazing add-ons including fireworks which we decided to do and it was by far the best decision ever. Every single attendee left the wedding in awe and will forever talk about the fireworks. Lastly, the food was PHENOMENAL from the cocktail hour appetizers to the main meals (we chose filet and herb roasted chicken) to the sides to the late night snacks and desserts (donuts were a huge hit as a to go favor). Every guest that I have talked to after the wedding has mentioned that the food was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. The quality and value that you get when choosing Hillside Country Club for your wedding venue is second to none. I highly recommend this venue to host your wedding or any other event you’re planning. Best Day of Our LivesWhen we booked Hillside, we loved the location, price and food options. Food was a big factor for us as we both had been to weddings where the food was subpar and it can really damper the night. Their spend minimum is completely reasonable as compared to popular wedding venues in Newport we looked at. During our two years booked at Hillside, they changed ownership. I was petrified, but little did I know an angel named Sara would help all my wedding dreams come true. She was super responsive and did her very best to accommodate all my wishes and dreams. Then came the day/night of the wedding- she and the team at Hillside absolutely rocked it. They were super welcoming and accommodating to my wedding party and I. Snacks in the bridal suite that just kept coming and champagne.. we were in heaven… the night ran smoothly. They treated my other vendors and guests with kindness as I had wished for. The courses came out quick, the food was hot and delicious and I just can’t find a bad thing to say. We love that Hillside has a restaurant and golf - we will be sure to be attending dinner date nights here and there to reminisce on the most beautiful day.

The second me and my wife stepped foot in hillside we knew it was the perfect venue for us it was beautiful and the staff was very nice and welcoming! Both Ashley & Sarah were absolutely amazing. Ashley helped us the entire way leading up to the wedding. Any question I asked her about she answered right away and Sarah made the day go so smoothly. The set up was more than we could of asked for and the food was delicious. Everything was perfect and we couldn’t have asked for anything else! Highly recommended Hillside!

Both Ashley & Sarah were absolutely amazing. Ashley helped us the entire way leading up to the wedding. Any question I asked her about she answered right away and Sarah made the day go so smoothly. Hillside Country Club is nothing short of 5 stars all around. From, the beginning Ashley was attentive, honest, helpful and made the entire process SO easy. Leading up to the day of, details were re-confirmed and everything went as smooth as possible. Banquet Manager Sara is INCREDIBLE. She was so calm and collected on my wedding day and made sure everything and everyone was where they or it should be throughout the night. My bridal party kept telling me how kind and organized she was with every detail. Without Sara I think the day would've been very hectic but she kept everything moving along smoothly. The food at both cocktail hour and the reception was complimented by everyone I talked to (one of the biggest reasons for choosing Hillside). I was lucky enough to be able to chat with the chef a few times and he was so happy that everyone loved it. Since I attended a wedding here a few years ago, this was the only venue that me and my husband even toured because we had already known how good the food was and how elegant and up-to-date the interior/ballroom was. Do yourself the favor and reserve your date here-- you will not regret it!!!

Ashley, Sara, and their team made my wedding day a day to remember. I truly did not have to worry about a thing. They made the entire process stress-free and worked with me with such patience, responsiveness, and attentiveness. During our reception, there was not any moment of waiting, gaps, and the staff were extremely quick with serving and moving from dinner to dancing. I cannot stress that enough. Our guests RAVED about the food which let's be honest, wedding food can be a hit or miss, but the food was absolutely outstanding. Our guests also could not say enough about the property itself. Even after our wedding, they continued to compliment the cocktail hour space on the patio, and that they loved it so much they continued to go out there throughout the evening because it was so nice. To be honest I wish we could have had a 2 hour cocktail hour because that was one of my favorite parts! I cannot thank Hillside enough for making my wedding day a dream come true.

From the bottom of our hearts, my husband and I don't know where to begin with our review for Hillside Country Club and their staff! From the day we first visited the venue in August 2019, Ashley our coordinator was so delightful to work with. Ashley was always approachable, helpful, and responsive, making the wedding planning process so enjoyable and providing great suggestions along the way. The day we left Hillside after our tour, I knew there was no other venue that could top all that Hillside had to offer! Knowing how many weddings they plan, it was so touching to feel how genuinely excited they were when our day was finally able to happen as we originally planned! The focus was on our day, no other event can be booked which not all venues do. To say that our wedding day was absolutely perfect and beyond anything I ever could have dreamed of is an understatement. From start to finish, our reception went as smooth as I could have ever imagined thanks to their incredible team. From the gorgeous venue and grounds, the extra attention given to decor details and the staff, there aren't enough great things that I can say. The elegance of the ballroom is perfect for any wedding theme! I showed Ashley a design I wanted for my cake table, she perfected the design and it was jaw dropping gorgeous!Sara and all the staff were amazing on the day of, and their attentiveness was unparalleled. I truly felt like a Queen when we first walked through the doors. The food and appetizers were phenomenal! My family owns a restaurant so they are food critics. Every guest made a point of saying it was the best wedding food they have ever had - and I couldn't agree more, our wedding was on NYE and every time I see someone that attended, our fairytale wedding is brought up. From all the extras such as the delicious seasonal sorbet, chocolate fountain, late night snack (mini cheeseburger sliders I highly recommend) and to our outstanding fireworks display! Yes, fireworks!! I have never seen this offered at any other venue in Massachusetts. Since it was a NYE wedding, it was the perfect ending! Our guests were blown away by how amazing the display was. Dave and I again can’t thank Hillside Country Club for being part in perfecting such a huge life event! We will always recommend this venue to anyone who will be tying the knot and we will be visiting to enjoy dinners at their restaurant!

We were married at Hillside Country Club on October 30, 2021. Despite the rain, the day turned out beautiful. We had booked with Hillside Country Club approximately 3 years ago for our original wedding date of 12/12/2020. Like so many others, we had to postpone the wedding due to statewide event restrictions relating to COVID. Hillside was great to work with throughout the whole process. They essentially worked with us to plan and then replan our wedding. THey were also super flexibe and understanding regarding the number of attendees. Although we planned on 150, due to COVID, we only ended up having around 100 people and Hillside was extrememly flexible with us. The days leading up, Ashley was always available to answer questions whenever we needed and made the day of a breeze. Plus the food and drinks were delicious!

Everyone had such a great time. Covid really threw us for a loop, but Ashley was there for us every step of the way. Sara was super helpful during the rehearsal and the wedding. The food was cooked perfectly and the staff was incredibly accommodating. Planning a wedding during Covid is a daunting task but Hillside showed they could handle it with the ever changing Covid guidelines. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married.

She was professional, personable and always made us feel comfortable throughout the decision making process. The Hillside staff was incredible the day of our wedding! Sara, our day-of coordinator, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. One staff member even ran to get my lipstick from the bridal suite so I could touch-up before our pictures outside! Everything was BEAUTIFUL, well organized and the food was great! We had the time of our lives and are so incredibly thankful for the Hillside team - you guys exceeded all of our expectations (:

When I first got engaged I went to a wedding expo and walked around and got a bunch of brochures for wedding venues. That’s when I met Ashley. Weeks later I scheduled a tour and the minute my husband saw the venue we new it was the one. The outdoor gazebo was beautiful and the indoor ballroom had everything we wanted. During covid Ashley was prompt with all communication and when I had to postpone she was flexible and made a stressful time smooth and easier! The day of the wedding Sarah was phenomenal and the bartenders and servers were great. Sarah continued to check in asking if she could help with anything & was so kind. It was the most magical day & I can’t thank the Hillside staff enough for all their help & guidance during this important time in my life!!!

This venue was so wonderful to work with. Ashley and Sara made the process seamless! From the time we toured to the day of, the communication was fantastic. Many of our family and friends raved about the beautiful setting and food! Definitely a place that they will visit in the future for the golf, pool and tiki bar! We also were able to have our rehearsal dinner there the night before which worked out perfectly.

We found Hillside (and Ashley - the coordinator) in August 2020 when our original venue was no longer able to move forward with our wedding. Ashley was an absolute dream to work with and took care of all of our worries. The venue itself is stunning. Due to Covid we had to have an entirely outside wedding on their patio in mid-October. The views over the golf course were gorgeous, and the heaters around the reception area were so effective it was rare to feel cold! We were also able to use both fire pits which were a huge hit (especially with MA restrictions on dancing). The food and service were also great. Overall an amazing and wonderfully memorable experience. I will absolutely recommend Hillside to anyone that asks.

Ashley was an absolute dream to work with and took care of all of our worries. The venue itself is stunning. Due to Covid we had to have an entirely outside wedding on their patio in mid-October. The views over the golf course were gorgeous, and the heaters around the reception area were so effective it was rare to feel cold! We were also able to use both fire pits which were a huge hit (especially with MA restrictions on dancing). The food and service were also great. My husband and I got married the second week in June and we are still in awe at how PERFECT our wedding was. The Hillside Country Club is absolutely gorgeous, with views over nearby hills,a gazebo, a pond, and beautifully manicured grounds. Best of all, the coordinator Ashely, is amazing! She was organized, answered emails quickly, was friendly and made every request become a reality. Chef Tony, is an extremely talented and accommodating chef. My husband and I got married the second week in June and we are still in awe at how PERFECT our wedding was. The Hillside Country Club is absolutely gorgeous, with views over nearby hills,a gazebo, a pond, and beautifully manicured grounds. Best of all, the coordinator Ashely, is amazing! She was organized, answered emails quickly, was friendly and made every request become a reality. Chef Tony, is an extremely talented and accommodating chef. Each dish he prepared was thoroughly enjoyed and complimented throughout night. Overall our wedding at Hillside Country Club was a magical experience and we HIGHLY recommend it!

We got married on August 31st 2019. My husband and I couldn’t have picked a better venue to get married at than Hillside. We planned our wedding in 6 months and the wedding coordinator, Arolin made the whole process so much easier and enjoyable. She was always available to answer questions and added just the right touches to make the reception beautiful. If I could give 10000 stars I would. As we looked through venues, Hillside was one of the last ones we checked out and instantly fell in love with the place. Both inside and outside are incredible. Ashley B. Was our coordinator and she is beyond amazing. She is attentive, knowledgable, personable and made the process and the day of perfect. She anwsered all our needs even when we felt like we had asked millions of questions repeatedly she was so prompt to anwser and was kind and never made us feel as though we were bothersome. The day of the wedding she was attentive to eveything and made sure things were perfect. It was truly the best day ever and it was thanks to Ashley and Charlene. The service, the food. The venue its self is a place to make your best day ever a dream come true. Our guests were all so happy and mentioned it was the best wedding ever! We also had out rehersal dinner here and It was just as great. Hands down best venue around. Thank you Ashley Charlene and all of Hillside staff for an unforgettable day!

The grounds are beautiful .. the food and service is great ... I wouldn’t change a thing on how the night went and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a seamless, stress free wedding! We had an amazing night and thank you to everyone at Hillside for that!

Love love love it here! I just got married here on 10.20.17 and have zero complaints! The ballroom is BEAUTIFUL, big, elegant, & just perfect for any color scheme/wedding theme! I loved cocktail hour outdoors with the fire pits going and a wonderful hor d'oeuvre display that my guests enjoyed. My day of coordinator Justine was so nice! She got my vision perfectly and decorated everything so much better than I could’ve ever imagined! She was on top of everything on my wedding day and helped my day go smoothly! Ashley was also SO helpful through the planning process and was so easy to work with during my stressful moments. (I can’t thank you both enough for being so amazing!) I even had my rehearsal dinner here the night before and it was so perfect & the food was delicious!! I’ve gotten so many compliments of my wedding and the venue has been on top of the list! Needless to say I highly recommend Hillside :)

Can't say enough wonderful things about Hillside! Originally we wished to have our marriage at a church and the reception at the country club, but I am SO glad that we had both on site! Ashley and Kate made sure everything flowed smoothly. From the ceremony, to taking care of our guests at cocktail hour they ensured everything flowed perfectly. The food came out hot and was delicious. The venue itself looked incredible with our uplighting and the space was perfectly used for both tables and the dance floor. As for the Bridal suite, it is small, but as long as you are organized and don't spend too much time inside you'll be fine. For the groomsmen, they could hang out in the restaurant bar without seeing anyone beforehand. I am also glad that we did the rehearsal dinner on site at the restaurant, it truly made Hillside feel like an incredible special place that we will always remember as the perfect all around venue for our special day.

I would highly recommend Hillside Country Club as a wedding venue! We were just married on Oct 24th, 2015, and we couldn't be happier with our venue choice! The wedding coordinator, Ashley, is absolutely wonderful! She was very helpful with any questions we had during the planning process and is full of helpful suggestions. The venue itself is wonderful. The grounds are lovely for pictures and the ballroom has beautiful hardwood floors. Our ceremony was outside in the gazebo overlooking the pond and it was gorgeous! I was very impressed with how accommodating they were with special food requests! One of my bridesmaids has celiac disease and can only have gluten free foods. They were able to provide her with not only a gluten free dinner, but they made some of the hors d'oeurves gluten free as well and brought them right into the bridal suite for her! During cocktail hour, there was never a shortage of hors d'oeurves, and guests raved about how delicious the food at dinner was. Overall we had an amazing experience with Hillside!

I just had my wedding this past weekend at Hillside on June 13th. There's almost no words to describe how happy I was with the service and the staff! The venue is absolutely gorgeous from the ballroom to the outdoor patio as well as the grounds. There are so many places to take pictures on the grounds as well. All my guests raved about the food at cocktail hour as well as the dinner. The staff really knows what they are doing here, you drop off all your things a few days before the wedding and Ashley and her team take care of the rest! Ashley made me feel at ease with the whole process and was always there when I had questions, which as a bride, we have several! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a venue for their wedding! We took full use of the outdoor fire pit where our guests relaxed in Adirondack chairs while taking part in our S'mores bar! Everyone had such a good time at my wedding and I couldn't have pulled it together without Ashley, Kate and the event team. This place knows what they are doing and you will not be disappointed!! My guests are still commenting about how beautiful the grounds and ballroom of Hillside are! Not only is Hillside gorgeous but the food there is delicious and the staff are so incredibly helpful! The Hillside Country Club did an excellent job. They mangers did a great job setting up the million little details I had and being attentive but not too attentive. Ashley Roderick was very organized, attentive, and helpful for the weeks leading up to the wedding. The cocktail hour was on the patio which overlooks the golf course and the beautiful landscape. My guests were still able to access the patio the whole night for a breather and also the fire pit (which was a good place for guys to smoke cigars). The ballroom's décor was gorgeous will brand new hardwood floors, ceiling moldings, chandeliers, and damask neutral wallpaper. I had 180 guests which sat more than comfortably with a lot of room for a big dance floor. The filet and salmon were top notch for wedding food (the only mistake is some the sides were paired with the wrong protein). People keep talking about how great the food was and how amazing the place was for weeks after. The appetizers, salad, and passed signature cocktail were a hit with our guests too. Lastly, my venue burnt down 3 months before my wedding and Hillside (Ashley) bent over backwards to help plan and organize my wedding and all its changes in 3 months. They worked with what I had and helped me add things: like an ice sculpture, veggie/cheese display, cake from Konditor Meister & chivari chairs. The only one little bad thing was there was a cross in communication and some of my guests saw the ballroom ahead of time and even some were sitting at their table during the outside cocktail hour. But overall I would highly recommend having your wedding here and I keep telling my friends that are engaged to get married here so I can experience a night like this again. Your wedding will look beautiful, elegant, and expensive.

The Hillside Country Club did an excellent job. They mangers did a great job setting up the million little details I had and being attentive but not too attentive. Ashley Roderick was very organized, attentive, and helpful for the weeks leading up to the wedding. The cocktail hour was on the patio which overlooks the golf course and the beautiful landscape. My guests were still able to access the patio the whole night for a breather and also the fire pit (which was a good place for guys to smoke cigars). The ballroom's décor was gorgeous will brand new hardwood floors, ceiling moldings, chandeliers, and damask neutral wallpaper. I had 180 guests which sat more than comfortably with a lot of room for a big dance floor. The filet and salmon were top notch for wedding food (the only mistake is some the sides were paired with the wrong protein). People keep talking about how great the food was and how amazing the place was for weeks after. The appetizers, salad, and passed signature cocktail were a hit with our guests too. Grounds and place is nice. I did feel like the food took a long time between courses. Minor issues with the food. One table didn't get the meals they were suppose to due to a over cooked pan. But overall it went well. Loved the bridal coordinator. So friendly and helpful.
