Sitting atop approximately twenty-three acres of picturesque Devon countryside, the exquisite Main Line estate known as Hilltop House includes grand formal gardens, fountains, apple orchards, and sloping meadows. The elegant mansion, home to several prominent Main Line families, was built in 1894 and renovated for public use in 2005. Generous rooms with multiple entryways provide easy traffic flow throughout the spacious wood-paneled interiors, verandas, and terraces. The mansion can accommodate up to 135 guests. The large formal gardens provide the perfect setting for outdoor wedding ceremonies. Long admired as a private estate, Hilltop House is now excepting reservations for weddings and special events.

Hilltop house was beautiful, scenic and absolutely perfect for our May wedding. Deb and her staff were on top of everything and made the day run so smoothly my husband and I felt so at ease. We never went even a moment without every single thing we needed. From the very first moment we toured the place we knew it was the venue for us. Between the gorgeous garden and 100 year old tree we had endless options for photos and even places to have our ceremony. Book them now you won’t regret it!

Hilltop House was the perfect Venue for our October wedding! The scenery is beautiful and the setup of the house is perfect for guests to mingle, eat, dance, wherever! The staff and our wedding planner were particularly helpful in making all of our wedding dreams come true! We could not have been more pleased with our experience!

Hilltop House was the perfect Venue for our October wedding! The scenery is beautiful and the setup of the house is perfect for guests to mingle, eat, dance, wherever! We had our wedding at Hilltop House and it was everything I could have imagined and more! The space is really beautiful, and it's also very unique which is what drew us to the venue in the first place. Working with the venue coordinator, Sara Zalkind, was a breeze and she helped answer my many questions throughout the planning process. I absolutely loved having our wedding at Hilltop House and I can't recommend it enough if you are looking for a unique, beautiful and intimate space for your wedding!

We had our wedding at Hilltop House and it was everything I could have imagined and more! The space is really beautiful, and it's also very unique which is what drew us to the venue in the first place. Lovely venue! We had so many compliments from the guests on how much they liked it. We got married in the box garden and then had our reception in the house. The grounds and house are well-kept, and the view is lovely! The house layout was great for us - the flow is nice, especially between the veranda and inside (so people could be outside without feeling too separated from the dancing, etc. going on). Debbie was wonderful to work with, and helped make things go really smoothly on our wedding day!

Our guests liked the food (Perfect Setting Catering is the exclusive caterer & also contracted to manage the venue). Everyone (guests & other vendors) thought the venue was pretty.

Absolutely lovely as a wedding venue. Patient staff, delicious food, beautiful grounds surrounding a beautiful estate. During Covid, the staff held everything for us. The photographer and DJ both said what an amazing location we had!

The venue was simply taken out of a storybook. Whether you choose to use the secret garden out front or the open vista backyard you are truly in for a treat. This is a diamond well hidden, your own house with the added treat of having enough space set aside for the groom to get ready in as well. No excuses for him being late here. The care and love that has been put into here you can see and as Deb Diehl took me around I could truly feel this would be MY wedding and for that day MY house. A Perfect Setting indeed for those who take the opportunity to reach out and grab it. I certainly recommend the location and Perfect Setting before the rush hits for such a gem in the Devon area.

The Hilltop House is a magical place to get married. We had the ceremony out in the garden, followed by a reception inside the house itself. The dining room is small, so 100 guests appears to be somewhat of a maximum, but it was perfect for our wedding. The house has a staircase from which we made our entrance into our first dance and we just had so much fun the whole time. Sandy, the manager, was absolutely amazing and very accommodating with all our questions and requests leading up to the big day!
