I am delighted to share a raving review for the Clearwater Beach Hilton, where we had our wedding in May 2023. Our experience at this venue was exceptional, with standout moments that made our special day truly unforgettable.From the moment we began planning our wedding, Gianna, our point of contact at the Clearwater Beach Hilton, was there every step of the way. Over the course of 14 months, she consistently responded to our communications in a timely manner and demonstrated extensive knowledge and expertise. Gianna's helpfulness extended beyond her role, as she took on all the coordinator tasks even though she technically wasn't the designated \"Day of coordinator.\" She assisted us in keeping to our timeline and coordinated with vendors on the day of the wedding, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy our special day.The wait staff and caterers at the Clearwater Beach Hilton were truly amazing. They took exceptional care of us and ensured that every detail was attended to. Throughout the reception, they made sure we were well-fed and even packed us a to-go meal that was delivered to our room, allowing us to enjoy a delicious meal later. Their attentiveness and commitment to our satisfaction were greatly appreciated.I would not recommend using the hotel laundry service. We entrusted my bridal gown, the groom's suit, and all of our bridesmaids' dresses to be steamed and pressed the day before the wedding. Despite being assured that they would be delivered to our room by 4 pm, we faced a significant delay and confusion. After multiple phone calls and stressful moments, a valet finally helped us track down our clothes at 11 pm and brought them to our room. While the laundry service experience was stressful, the exceptional efforts of the valet helped alleviate some of the frustration.On a positive note, the Hibiscus Spa at the Clearwater Beach Hilton provided excellent service for our bridal hair and makeup. Crystal, in particular, stood out with her remarkable talent. She created an exquisite bridal hair and makeup look, leaving me feeling like a supermodel. Crystal's skills were truly impressive, and she went above and beyond by coming into the bridal suite to touch up my hair before she finished her day. However, a few bridesmaids were less satisfied with their makeup, feeling that the products used were of lower quality. Some of them ended up washing off the makeup and doing it themselves.In summary, the Clearwater Beach Hilton provided an exceptional venue for our wedding. Gianna's support and coordination, the outstanding service provided by the wait staff and caterers, and the remarkable talent of Crystal at the Hibiscus Spa made our wedding day truly memorable. While we encountered some challenges with the hotel's laundry service and makeup for a few bridesmaids, the overall experience at the Clearwater Beach Hilton was excellent. Our dinner and beach party were set perfectly in the Sandpiper Deck later that night and were so much fun. The staff was professional and took great care of our family and friends!

The Hilton worked with us on a special menu to fit within our budget and our guests all raved about the taco bar we had. They were very understanding when we had to change our wedding date three times due to the pandemic. After the long awaited year and a half, our event finally came. The day of coordinator and Hilton staff did a fantastic job making sure our wedding went off without any issues. We even got to have our puppy partake in the ceremony which made the day extra special. We could not have asked for a more perfect night or venue.

I am grateful for having to cancel because Candice and Courtney at the Hilton were a true dream team. They were super responsive, collaborative, and informative throughout the whole process. Candice went above and beyond to ensure the day went smooth and I am forever grateful for her bringing my dream wedding to life. Aside from Candice, the day of Hilton event staff were incredibly personable and made sure we had everything we needed/wanted. My guests couldn’t stop raving about the food, venue, and staff. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Candice & Courtney at the Hilton! Since the day we booked the venue, they were always prompt in answering our questions via email and helped coordinate every detail for the big day! They have a list of recommended vendors and they are a dream-team when they all work together! We could not have imagined a more perfect wedding day; the venue on the beach was a dream come true! There were 3 other weddings booked there on the exact same day as ours and they did such a great job at making sure each event ran smoothly and did not interfere with each other. The food & service was excellent as well! The only thing we wish we could have changed is to have been able to extend our reception past 11pm; however, there is a noise ordinance on the beach so we couldn't and when we went inside, the hotel bar was already closed. Overall, we highly recommend the Hilton Clearwater Beach for your big day!!

Candice and the Hilton team made our night better than we could have imagined. So glad we chose the Hilton Clearwater to turn our dream into reality. Everything was perfectly coordinated the day of, Candice made sure the entire wedding went off without a hitch. The catering staff served us our meal and drinks to ensure we actually ate and enjoyed ourselves. At the end of the night they had everything packed up and delivered back to our hotel room so we could continue having fun after the wedding. It was the best night of our lives, so happy Candice helped make it the wedding of our dreams.

We had our wedding on October 16, 2020 at the Hilton Clearwater Beach! After narrowing down to 4 venue choices, we took the trip from Chicago to Florida to visit them August of 2019. After seeing the Hilton we knew this venue was everything we wanted. Our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception would all be on the beach (reception on sandpiper deck). The deck is stunning and after the remodel we were blown away at how beautiful it was! The venue is great but Candice was absolutely amazing to work with. Being in Chicago, she did everything for us. And we had LOTS of questions.... every other day :-P. With Covid they had limited staff so we also talked with Courtney often too-she is awesome as well! The day of our wedding could not have been better. Candice knew my vision and made my wedding even better than I imagined! Covid couldn’t stop our wedding and we still had 65 people come for it! Everyone was blown away at how beautiful everything was. I would say the Hilton was a little expensive compared to the other venues we were looking at in Clearwater and St Pete, but if you’re looking to have the dream beach wedding it is completely 100% worth it. The incredible sunset at dinner was just the icing on the cake. Thank you to Candice, Courtney and banquet staff for making my dream wedding come true! Love, Adriana & Mike

We had my daughters wedding here and it couldn’t have been better! Crazy year to have a wedding but the Staff was able to pull it off. Candice and Courtney couldn’t have been better to work with. Very responsive. The venue itself is beautiful. The beach was kept clean for the wedding and staff was available to keep outsiders out of the wedding. Truly felt like we had our own private beach. Highly recommend the Hilton!

I could not recommend the Hilton enough for a wedding venue! Candice and Courtney were fantastic! They were so accommodating, flexible and responsive during the whole process. We had to reschedule our wedding date, due to the coronavirus and they made the process so easy. We had to adjust a few things last minute to make sure we could get sunset photos and Candice readjusted the whole schedule with ease. I was able to relax and enjoy the moment on my wedding day knowing I could fully trust Candice and the Hilton staff for making the whole night run smoothly. We had the skirt steak and mahi mahi for our dinner choices and they were both phenomenal. Not only is the Hilton staff incredible, the venue is absolutely breathtaking! We had our ceremony on the beach and reception on the Water’s Edge Ballroom & Deck. I couldn’t have been happier with our choice! I highly recommend the Hilton to all couples! It’s the absolute best place to have your destination wedding!

We chose Hilton Clearwater Beach as our venue after browsing through maybe 2-3 other hotels on the island. We worked with Holly and Candice who were extremely accommodating every step of the way. We are located in Texas and did everything virtually through email or phone and when the day finally came, everything was perfect and went just as planned. The venue is just beautiful and the food options were a hit. We also had an open bar that the guests loved! We shipped our decor to the hotel where it arrived about 4 days prior to the wedding, we gave them a mock up that we did at home and they nailed it perfectly. Highly recommend having a wedding here! From the ceremony to the reception to the stay, Hilton made sure it was the best experience possible.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!! We chose the Clearwater Beach Hilton resort as our host hotel and wedding venue. The views are absolutely amazing from the rooms. The pool area is fantastic and the staff took care of all of our needs. We must especially mention, Holly, our event coordinator from the hotel. She was 100% on point and handled every detail. Including details I would've never thought of. She didn't miss a beat. It was so comforting to know we had her on our side coordinating day of so we could concentrate on enjoying the whole experience without any stress. Also, we need to mention how delicious all of the food was. Above our expectations and many guests mentioned the high quality food that was full of flavor. We had the grammy nominated band, Sevendust, play an acoustical set on the beach during our reception so we had extra coordinating and setup than a typical reception on the beach and again Holly was our girl! Everything went off without a hitch! Finally, we can recomend this location enough. From the gorgeous white sand beach backdrop to the A+ staff at the Hilton. You won't be disappointed. :)

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!! We chose the Clearwater Beach Hilton resort as our host hotel and wedding venue. The views are absolutely amazing from the rooms. The pool area is fantastic and the staff took care of all of our needs. We must especially mention, Holly, our event coordinator from the hotel. She was 100% on point and handled every detail. Including details I would've never thought of. She didn't miss a beat. It was so comforting to know we had her on our side coordinating day of so we could concentrate on enjoying the whole experience without any stress. My wedding was the most beautiful and easy wedding to plan because of the Hilton staff. Everyone who came said it was the most beautiful weddign they had ever been too. We are out of state so we visited one time about a year and a half before the actual wedding day and fell in love with the place and did all of our planning over phone and email. The Hilton is definitely worth the cost and I feel like I got more than what I paid for. We couldn’t have been any happier with how everything turned out and Brooke and Candice were saints throughout the whole process! We had 90 people on the sandpiper deck. I wish I could relive this day every day - it was that perfect.

The ability to have our hair and makeup done right at the venue made the entire day relaxed and stress-free​. Where to begin!! We got married at the Hilton Clearwater Beach on July 7th, 2018. After we got engaged we knew we wanted a destination wedding (we’re from NJ). We knew going out of the country would be expensive for our guests, but at first we felt like that was our only option. One day, someone mentioned Florida and it clicked. We loved visiting our family in Tampa, and it felt like Clearwater Beach was the perfect “happy medium” for having our destination wedding. We flew down and visited some of the popular hotels on the beach. Since we were having a destination wedding we obviously wanted everything outside. Why travel to a beautiful beach and have our wedding inside? (Yes, in July lol). The Hilton’s outside venue was perfect. It may look like a deck but from all the Instagram and Facebook stalking of weddings online I did I knew once it was decorated it would be perfect. We began with another coordinator, but was then assigned the wonderful Courtney Owens once she was back from maternity leave. We flew back down in December for our tasting and to meet Courtney. She walked us threw EVERYTHING. We sat for a few hours talking about every single detail possible. She answered every question I had, even the silly ones we had. We decided on what we could, but I was able to make a list of everything else that still needed to be decided. We picked our menu, linens, and all the extras. I’m sure doing this over the phone would be possible, but meeting in person was so much easier. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect. My only complaint is the noise ordinance! Our wedding had to be over by 11 because we were outside and there is a town noise ordinance.(Obviously not the Hilton’s rule) The food was AMAZING, to this day guests are still ranting and raving about our wedding and welcome party food. Courtney and the Confetti girls truly made our day go perfectly. I wish we could do it all over again. \tThe hotel was in the perfect location. A car was not necessary. We were in walking distance of great restaurants, bars, and attractions. Even though the pool was crowded at times (it was 4th of July weekend), we were always able to get a chair. On the beach there were rental chairs which were overpriced, but we found a great store a couple blocks away near the bay that rented out beach chairs for a reasonable price. The rooms were small, but always clean. As the bride definitely upgrade to the suite! We kind of just assumed we would be automatically upgraded (like friends of ours who have been married in other countries were at their destination wedding) but it’s not going to happen. Do the upgrade it’s definitely worth it, especially for the day of. Every vendor we picked worked out so amazingly. I have not 1 complaint. I used websites like The Knot and Wedding Wire to help me make decisions. I highly recommend them all. Having our wedding at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa was the first decision and one of the best decisions we made! Their entire staff is incredibly helpful, welcoming and professional. I attribute their affordable room rates to huge reason why we had 130 guests travel from all over the country to attend our wedding! All of our guests LOVED the Hilton and LOVED the location. So many of my guests said they are already making plans to come back to the Hilton for another long weekend vacation! As for the wedding, they were simply amazing throughout the entire process. Courtney Owens was the main reason why we booked our wedding at the Hilton after our initial meeting. Courtney was so warm and informative that we walked away saying, we are definitely booking here! We looked at about six other options, but didn’t think twice after meeting with her. Throughout the entire process, Courtney was responsive and helpful. Given the fact that they have events EVERY weekend and of course throughout the week, I was shocked at how quickly she would get back to us on everything. She was SO helpful with referrals since we are not from the area and I have to say EVERY referral was SPOT ON. She highly recommended Confetti Events to help with the planning process and I can honestly say that was the best referral from her we had! And I have to talk about the food! I am STILL hearing from my guests how amazing the food was and that it was the BEST menu they have ever seen at any wedding they had been to. I could go on and on about the Hilton and wish I could give them 10 stars! I am SO grateful for everything they did for us the day of and of course the months leading up to the wedding day. The beachfront wedding was beautiful. They have staff that keeps people away from the ceremony which helped calm some of our fears. We used the ballroom for our wedding reception. New carpet and new chairs. The foyer area is fully renovated. Beautiful!! The guest rooms are recently renovated and are very nice. Pool area is brand new. They tore out their old pools! This location is in the heart of Clearwater Beach right next to the Pier. Everything is within walking distance. Loved that there was a Walgreens right across street as well as restaraunts!! Nothing but positive things to say!! A special thanks to Shawn at the hotel who checked in with us daily and made our stay very special. And another shout out to Laurie, our banquet captain, who really made sure we were taken care of!!!!!

The Hilton went above and beyond to give us our perfect wedding day. The service, location, food, accommodations, and staff were all outstanding. Courtney was so helpful with every request we had and was always so nice and helpful when we wanted to set up a meeting almost every month to go over things. The location is beautiful and the outside deck really comes to life with the beautiful decorations done by Iza's Flowers. The Hilton went above and beyond to give us our perfect wedding day. The service, location, food, accommodations, and staff were all outstanding. Courtney was so helpful with every request we had and was always so nice and helpful when we wanted to set up a meeting almost every month to go over things. Can't explain how amazing this venue is. Courtney worked with us every step of the way. The venue was gorgeous and the staff was amazing. Our entire week was PERFECT. Most of that is because of the gorgeous location and the amazing staff. We had a welcome reception, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception on the beach. We used their boardwalk so the girls could walk on the beach in wedges without sinking into the sand. At each event, the food was excellent. My husband loves bacon and wanted bacon as one of our appetizers. Hilton not only made it happen, but spent days practicing before the wedding to make it perfect! If you are looking for a beach wedding location, Hilton Clearwater is your place! Can't say enough wonderful things about this venue.

Holly and the Staff at the Clearwater Beach Hilton were wonderful to work with! I tried not to be a “Bridezilla” but questions would pop up and Holly was always friendly and helpful to answer them, getting back with me right away. She was responsive and worked with our budget to make it a beautiful day! We married on the beach with our ceremony outside and it was gorgeous. We would definitely recommend this venue for your special day.

I don't think there are words to describe how amazing our wedding at the Hilton Clearwater Beach was!!! I recommend it to anyone considering a beach wedding. Lovely staff, including the concierge, Allyen. The hotel itself is great, recently updated lobby and a nice restaurant and bar on site. There is also a Starbucks on property! It is situated in a perfect area, within walking distance of many restaurants. The Hilton beach is lovely and clean, near Pier 60, has a beach bar, and white powdery sand...the perfect setting for a fun wedding weekend with friends and family, and a gorgeous backdrop for our big day! Now...on to the good stuff! I had the most WONDERFUL experience planning my wedding with Courtney Owens, Director of Catering and Events. She is patient, responsive, flexible, thoughtful, kind, and is AMAZING at her job. I can't stress this enough!! The Hilton is incredibly lucky to have her! She made the process SO easy and fun, and allowed us to customize everything, down to the smallest of details. Countless is the way I would describe the number of questions I asked in our 7 months of planning, and I never once felt as though I was bothering Courtney - she was very gracious!! The wedding packages offered are inclusive, customizable, and affordable.Our actual wedding...was INCREDIBLE! The Hilton Clearwater Beach is the only venue of its kind in the area - where the reception can be held on a deck on the beach. Our beach ceremony was held under a teak wood arch we rented from the Hilton. The staff arranged our ceremony set up exactly to our specifications, it was GORGEOUS! Our Reception on the beach deck was so much fun...the sunset was incredible! The FOOD was absolutely incredible! It was prompt, fresh, and flavorful! We got married at the Hilton Clearwater Beach on May 20, 2016 and it was perfect! This was a destination wedding for us so we only visited twice and each time we were there Courtney was a pleasure to work with. She showed us around and answered all of our questions while we were there and then via email when we were at home. The entire staff was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was perfect. The food was great, venue space was excellent, and the vendors we worked with were fantastic. Our guests loved the wedding and the extra days we spent at the hotel. We couldn't have picked a better location. We're so happy we got married at the Hilton Clearwater Beach that we are already planning a trip back!

The Hilton Clearwater Beach is a fantastic place to have a destination wedding. I will be honest, it wasn't my first choice as Clearwater is a much busier beach than I wanted but it turned out SO AWESOME! First, the beach at the Hilton is their property so they have the ability to keep people away from your general wedding area so it feels more private. The hotel is also located on the \"quieter\" side of Clearwater Beach. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel so it was really nice for our guests. Also the Hilton included things in the wedding package that I would have had to pay extra for at other hotels - definitely a huge bonus!Courtney Owens was absolutely fantastic to work with. She was responsive and very patient with all of my questions. I felt like all of the staff went out of their way to make sure that our guests (and us) were well taken care of. The food was phenomenal! And how much better does it get than having your wedding reception outside right next to the beach? Our guests raved about the service and how much they enjoyed their meals!

Our family and friends thoroughly enjoyed our event and continue to talk about it today - we suspect they will for a while. Courtney Owens is the absolute best - she went well above and beyond to ensure our every need was taken care of. Courtney was a blessing for me - she was ALWAYS available to answer my 100+ questions or to assure me when I had concerns about anything at all. She kept me calm on a stormy wedding day morning and gave me the gift of great weather in the evening so my dream beach ceremony could go on as planned! Mike took special care of me to ensure I had eaten (because you know we can forget!) and never an empty glass :). Thank you to the entire Hilton Clearwater Beach staff for being so accommodating - always helping us with a smile and making a few of them friends along the way. We had four events at the Hilton, our ceremony, rehearsal dinner, reception, and brunch the next day. All four events were amazing thanks to the help from the wedding staff including Courtney. One of the reasons I chose this venue was because of her quick responses and that she was always so pleasant to work with. This makes a huge difference when you are working with someone for a year. The food was amazing and I still have guests telling me how good it was. There are multiple options for your events and you cannot beat the beach view!

We knew we wanted to have our wedding on Clearwater Beach. We grew up in the area and spent a lot of time there together as kids. We went to all of the resorts along the beach and after sitting down with the people at the Hilton, there was no question in our minds that this was the place. They had access to the beach that they could reserve just for us. The could provide the catering we wanted, a place for the rehearsal dinner, a place for the next day brunch and everything else that we needed. Courtney Owens, the Senior Catering Sales Manager did a fabulous job of making sure everything flowed smoothly. That all of our needs were not only catered to, but she anticipated almost everything we could have wanted. She did a great job of ensuring that all of the vendors were coordinated and got everything done and done correctly.\rThe food at the Hilton was SPECTACULAR!!!! We had our tasting and it was almost impossible to choose because everything tasted so good. The one thing that we recommend that everyone have is the spare rib appetizer. It was AMAZING! \rThe rooms were nice at the hotel and the price was very good for being summer and right on the beach. Everyone that we talked to was extremely impressed with not only the Hilton, but everyone that they came into contact with at the hotel. Thank you for making our wedding so memorable.

When my groom and I were visiting Florida (from our home in the UK), we stayed at the Hilton. We decided to schedule a meeting to view the location as a possible wedding venue. About a month later, we decided to book the Hilton. A lot of planning and menu decisions had to happen since we originally planned to have two receptions. We ended up planning two receptions, and a farewell brunch on the day after the wedding. The staff at the Hilton we brilliant! We had some lost luggage issues with the airline, and the Hilton made sure to accept our luggage and deliver it direct to our rooms. On the day itself, we were well taken care of. Even though it was Spring Break, security (which I never noticed until looking back at the occasional photo) kept us in our lovely wedding bubble. During the cocktail hour, the bridal party was having our photos taken and didn't get to sample the food, but they saved some and it was fantastic! My brother said it was \"the poshest food (he's) ever eaten!\" All of our photos from the day look like postcards because of the beautiful location and backdrop the Hilton provides.

My husband and I decided to do a destination wedding in Clearwater, FL and read numerous reviews for venues and decided on the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort and we are so glad we did!! The property and grounds were well kept and beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially the Wedding Coordinator, Melissa Rowjohn!! Melissa was absolutely GREAT and made the wedding planning from Connecticut easy and stress free!! Melissa was VERY prompt and detailed with responding to e-mails. Melissa was also very helpful with accommodating my food allergies as well as the dining staff!! The dining staff was very attentive to the food allergies and who required special meals. We received only good comments regarding the facility, food, and the staff. My husband and I are VERY glad that we chose the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort for our wedding weekend!!

She is WONDERFUL and answered all of my endless questions, offered guidance when needed, had great suggestions and was such a joy to work with on such an important day. \r\rMy husband and I had a morning ceremony with brunch reception. Best idea ever! We had a blast at the wedding and then all hung out on the beach for the rest of the day with our family and friends. \r\rEvery vision we had for the day came to life and the staff ensured anything we needed, they would see that we had it. The Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort was the perfect place for our destination wedding due to the beautiful white sandy beach and the ocean backdrop. We did the Ultimate Destination Package, which included quite a bit of extra events for the bride & groom and also the ceremony rehearsal dinner the night for all guests. It was a great experience! However, I had an unusual experience in the Hilton switching my day-of coordinator 3 months before the wedding. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED my day-of coordinator (Kiersten) and her assistants but it made it difficult to remember who I had told what to and there were a few things that needed to be taken care of the day before the wedding (can add more stress). The new catering manager/Hilton coordinator (Melissa) was amazing, and helped us through the miscommunication mix-ups with our previous day-of coordinator. I will say with the ultimate destination package, really made my groom and myself the most relaxed we had ever been, so our wedding day turned out completely stress free!

My husband and I looked EVERYWHERE for the perfect beach wedding and the Clearwater Beach Hilton was it. We really wanted to have our ceremony and reception outside with about 100 guests and the Hilton was head and shoulders above the rest. The Sand Piper Deck is amazing. My second choice was the Don Cesar but I still liked the Hilton's Sand Piper Deck better than any room or deck that they had. The food at the Hilton was also really good. Also, to my surprise they served mojitos with fresh mint at our wedding all night! \r\rMelissa, the Catering Manager, was really great to work with. She had no problem working with me on any special request I had. We also had an issue with our photographer and she is still checking in with me to make sure that it gets handled as well as calling my photographer. This is just amazing service and shows how much she really does care for her brides. \r\rI definately have no regrets about having my wedding here. Melissa and her staff at the Hilton did an AMAZING job with my wedding and I recommend the Sand Piper Deck for anyone who wants a beachfront wedding.

My husband and I got married on June 7, 2012 at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort. We are from Nebraska and had always wanted a beach wedding. The day of the wedding the forcast showed that it would be raining all day. My wedding coordinator (Jason) kept in contact all day to keep me informed on where everything would be if it continued to rain. It didn't look good, so the ceremony and reception got moved inside at the moment. An hour before the ceremony was suppose to start, Jason came up to me and said we can do your ceremony outside, however we need to do it now. He informed me that we may not have all the decorations and music, but we would have the ceremony outside. This is all I wanted. 20 minutes later of the Hilton staff and my flourist (Izabela from Weddings by Iza) running around getting all the decorations from inside to the beach we were able to have our dream ceremony. The Hilton worked so hard to make our beach ceremony happen with decorations and music. I would recommend this venue to anyone. i cannot thank the Hilton enough for what they did for us. They were very accomadating and fun to work with. Also, you can't have a better location. The beach was amazing! Very white and soft. The pier is also right next to it which adds for pictures!

Everything turned out great and the people were very helpful and nice! The only issue I had was the wedding coordinators kept on leaving the hotel, so for several months I was worried that something would be missed.

One of the main reasons I decided on choosing the Hilton was because the wedding coordinator Joanie was AWESOME. Well unfortunately in Dec she left the Hilton to go to another venue and I’m not going to lie I panicked. But actually there was no reason to panic Stephanie and Tessa were great and I loved everything about my venue. The food was DELICIOUS the room was perfect and the ceremony site was beautiful. I couldn’t have picked a better day to get married and everything went off without a hitch.

One of the main reasons I decided on choosing the Hilton was because the wedding coordinator Joanie was AWESOME. Well unfortunately in Dec she left the Hilton to go to another venue and I’m not going to lie I panicked. But actually there was no reason to panic Stephanie and Tessa were great and I loved everything about my venue. The food was DELICIOUS the room was perfect and the ceremony site was beautiful. Hilton is a BEAUTIFUL location for a wedding. The service was exceptional. The staff and coordinator were very helpful when our decorator decided to be difficult since the wedding was moved inside.\rBUT…there are some things you should know before signing the contract.\rMisconceptions: There are many things they say they can do, but they are NOT included in the price. They charge you extra for every little thing, so make sure you ask for prices on EVERYTHING you want. Go to your meetings prepared.\rVendors: They require that all your vendors have a million dollar insurance policy in order to limit you to use their vendors. Our band frequently plays at the Hilton (which is where we heard them originally) and Hilton would not let them play the wedding b/c they did not have the insurance. Eventually we got this worked out, but it was stressful and they told us they were going to have to make their policy stricter.\rDecorations: Hilton will not allow you, any family member, or any Hilton staff to get on a ladder unless they have a million dollar insurance policy. Which means if you want anything hung from the ceiling you must hire a decorator. Ours ended up using poles and magnets and never even got on a ladder, so I would suggest trying this on your own before hiring someone.\rCake: The cake was absolutely breathtaking (and delicious) from Chantilly, which is one of the 2 choices for cakes that Hilton gives you. The other bakery was not very helpful. Chantilly worked around Hilton’s strict requirements for enough cake for EXACTLY the number of people attending so we did not have to pay extra.\rChairs/AC: Our reception had to be moved in due to a potential storm that never came. Make sure they turn on the AC and open the doors to air out your back-up room the night before. Also the chairs inside are ugly yellow, so make sure they will have chair covers available to you if you have to move in.\rMinister: Rev. John who is associated with Hilton brings his own sound system so your musician etc, can hook up to him. BUT he rushes through the ceremony and makes it seem like he is reading from a newspaper. If you have someone at your church who can do the ceremony and bring in sound, I would recommend them, but it is hard to find someone w/sound.\rReception clean up: Neither wedding coordinator stayed for our reception. After the reception my mom and aunt had to rush back to clean up everything on their own. Many of our personal items like candle holders, etc. were lost because Hilton staff (not the coordinators) was also cleaning up and they did not know what was ours and what was not. They also broke some of our gifts by stacking them onto a cart.\rOverall it was a beautiful wedding, but lots of stress could have been avoided if I had known all this up front.

We had the PERFECT wedding day at the Hilton on July 24, 2010, and so much of it was thanks to the staff at the Hilton. From the minute I talked to Joanie Adams on the phone when looking for a venue, I knew the Hilton was where I wanted to have my wedding. She seemed to be just as excited about my wedding day as I was. She was so responsive and flexible throughout the entire process. So many times, she would almost instantly respond to my e-mails. Whenever I was stressed out about something, she seemed to have the answer that calmed me down. We had both our wedding and our reception at the Hilton, and we truly thought everything was amazing! The day of the wedding, Joanie and the wedding coordinator, Julie, went above and beyond what I would have expected to make my day exactly what I had wanted it to be. They were in constant contact with me to give me choices and answer any questions I had and to make sure I was comfortable. The wedding was gorgeous, and the reception was amazing! They surprised me by giving me the reception room I had wanted but that had been booked before I made my reservation. It was awesome! Even though it seemed expensive, it was worth it because the food was INCREDIBLE! It was honestly some of the best food I have ever eaten! There were so many choices, we didn't even get to try everything. The decorations were beautiful, and everything just seemed to run SO smoothly despite a couple of complications we ran into due to weather. We could not have asked for anything more from the Hilton Clearwater Beach. We are already planning to go back for our free night on our one-year anniversary.

The hotel is in a good location if your ceremony is in downtown St. Augustine. No major complaints.;Hotel contact did not seem eager to finalize plans or request payment. I felt as though I was the one having to demand a contract and ask when she wanted to be paid. At the wedding, the hotel contact in charge did not know we were having a champagne toast. It was resolved without the guest ever knowing, but it was something else we had to deal with. Overall, the hotel staff could have been a little more attentive.

Wendy Ratkin, the wedding coordinator for the hotel, was absolutely amazing. My wedding was to be held outside on the beach and it had been raining off and on. I was so worried that we have to to be inside, but Wendy waited until the last possible second, when the weather cleared to carry through with my dream wedding on the beach!;The ONLY concern is that they fill up fast with weddings, conventions, etc.

The Hilton Melbourne Beach was recently opened when we had our wedding there so everything was new and clean and the staff was anxious to be sure we were taken care of and satified with everything. Also, it was a perfect beachside location for our out of town guests. They were excited to stay at the hotel and many of them stayed longer and made a vacation of it.;There is really nothing to warn anyone about at this venue. It was great. But because our wedding was so large we used up the 3 sections of their only ballroom and there was no 'bridal suite' provided. We had to rent their largest sleeping room which was used mostly for cocktail events on the top floor. This wasn't horrible, but it was an extra expense not provided in the bridal package and it was important that it was available on the day of our wedding. The hotel is currently adding another building and 88 more sleeping rooms (they have 128 now) and additional conference rooms/ballrooms so that should help and perhaps a 'bridal suite' to get ready in can be negotiated in the overall cost. It really was an excellent venue and I don't have a negative thing to say about it. The accommodations and the staff were excellent.

A better question to ask is 'What did we not like about our reception?' We loved everything about the Hilton. The service was fantastic. The special events manager went above and beyond the call of duty. For example, After getting out of the stretch Escalade my dress had black marks on it. Dex, the special events manager went down the street to walmart and bought me a tide pen to get the dreaded stains out. The decor was elegant, the food was fabulous, and the service-as I said before-was tremendous!!!

A better question to ask is 'What did we not like about our reception?' We loved everything about the Hilton. The service was fantastic. Everything was taken care of. I never had to worry about the staff or my guest. They were very attentive to my needs.;Make sure you know who will be decorating your reception, if more then one person is assisting and express how you want the tables to be set up. Have the design of the layout in writing.

The main hallway outside the ballrooms was exquisit. Tall ceilings, marble floors, beatiful light fixtures, and good lighting coming from the pool area adjacent to the ballrooms.;There are not very many 'pretty' places for pictures to be taken of the bride/groom/bridal party.

Amazing beach wedding space & covered outdoor pavillion that faced the ocean for reception. The view was breathtaking, and the area was very private - unlike some hotels, they only do 1 wedding at a time, so it felt secluded. Nothing like getting married with your feet in the sand and the waves crashing in the backround. The bonus, the reception pavillion is covered in case it rains - so no back-up plan necessary!!;The staff the night of my wedding was very unorganized and there was no one in charge to answer questions. The banquet coordinator was wonderful leading up to the wedding - but she was not there the actual day of. As a result, the staff was very late setting up, had the wrong color linens, screwed up my carefully selected seating arrangement so that Grandma B was next to the DJ, and even misplaced my $400 toasting glasses!!

It was large enough to house 150 people and a large dance area and a dj and a cake area and a gift area without overcrouding.;The waiters will give food that was given back to other guests.

The room was big enough for a wedding of 50 but not so big that it was too overwhelming. It was the perfect fit, including the outdoor veranda.

It was a brides dream, no stress and perfect. It was great for our guest since they were staying at the hotel so drinkign and driving was no issue. The food was great and the bar was nice. I didn't ahve to worry abotu decor or prep or anything the hotel staff took care of everything which made it perfect for me.
