Booking Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh/Southpointe for our wedding ceremony and reception with Carolyn was the BEST decision we made! From the moment we toured, I just knew that Carolyn was going to do everything possible to make our wedding day so special for us. And let me tell you, she executed and exceeded. She is amazing at her job, recognizes the importance of the day, and is super real. I was so honored to have her as a part of our vendor team! Leading up to the wedding, Carolyn helped me so much with planning and answering all of my questions. It didn’t matter when I sent her an email, or how many emails I sent, she answered them all so quickly and I really appreciated that. Each meeting with her was so informative and detailed. I truly trusted her input on everything. The food tasting was so so fun and delicious! The things that went wrong on our wedding day was kind of unbelievable, but it could not have been more perfect nor could I have enjoyed the day without the best coordinator. Carolyn got us a last minute DJ, fixed my dress bustle, brought me endless espresso martinis, checked in on me, packed our food and cookies up for the hotel suite, switched the ceremony from outside to inside in 20 minutes (thanks to Pgh rain), and much much more. Sneak peak into the reception space was a highlight of my day, I cried as my dream became my reality. It was absolutely gorgeous. We got an enormous amount of compliments on how beautiful the venue was and how delicious the food was. Shout out to *Chef Dave* for the absolute BEST bread display during cocktail hour featuring the Breadworks Bread! And helping me pull off the funniest surprise ever for the FOB! It’s been 6 months, and my dad is still talking about that moment. Staff and bartenders were very professional and made sure the space still looked clean throughout the evening. The best day of our lives would not have been possible without the Hilton Garden Inn Southpointe and Carolyn. I'm not sure I have enough characters to write everything I love about this place and her! When touring venues, my husband said everything was nice if it was what I wanted. Until we toured the HGI Southpointe, mid tour he said this is it and I finally got a reaction out of him! Carolyn is so talented at her job. She is very upfront about what they have to offer, answers calls and emails quickly, and so reassuring. She schedules meetings with you to touch base and run through everything multiple times to make sure its right. You drop off your décor the week of and she organizes it, so that its not a worry in the days leading up to the Wedding! Day of- she stopped by our getting ready room to assure me everything was handled and make sure I didn’t need anything. She even remembered that I loved High Noons, and even though we did not select them for our bar, she showed up with one at the reception for me! With some issues with our external day of coordinator, I did not have one worry in the world because I knew I trusted Carolyn and her staff with everything in me and that if anything happened or wasn’t how it was supposed to be, she would fix it. She even showed up and helped bustle my dress! She made me feel so special and important. You need to ask for her!! I don’t recommend that you need a day of coordinator when you have her. The food... my guests are still raving about the food. From the food tasting- the chef came out to personally introduce himself and tell us about the plates he prepared for us. They were fully customizable, and he said he would make us anything we wanted. Their food was out of this world, and they box it up and send it to your room for after the reception. The bartenders and reception staff were also amazing, so kind, and constantly checking in to see what we needed! Photos of the venue speak for itself, but it is even more beautiful in person. We also had after party pizzas at Jacksons attached, and they were delicious!

The best day of our lives would not have been possible without the Hilton Garden Inn Southpointe and Carolyn. We had such an amazing time having our wedding at the Hilton Garden Inn! We had our ceremony and reception there and it was a dream. The staff, coordinator and chefs were amazing! They are with you every step of way and are always there to answer your questions and calm your nerves. At one point they had taken care of everything and I was asking myself \"what did I miss?\" But it was already all taken care of! The venue is beautiful for both ceremony and reception which our guests kept mentioning afterwards also the food is AMAZING. The chef made it his own personal goal to serve the best food and the guests havent stopped talking about that either. they even cooked us (the bride and groom) our own specialty meal. I got chicken pot pie and my now husband got gyros and perogies! It was a relief to have them as our venue and highly recommend them as a venue!

HGI Southpointe was such an amazing venue. So many of my guests commented how much they loved it. A special shout out to Carolyn Eckler. She made the whole planning process stress-free and seamless. She is so sweet and truly loves her job. She made herself available at all hours of the day & night to answer any question and did everything she could to make our day perfect! 10/10! Looking back, I would choose this venue over and over.

We got married at Hilton Garden Inn at the end of September and can not recommend it enough! Everything about our day was perfect. Every member of the hotel staff, from concierge at check in to the bartenders and catering staff, were so amazing and went above and beyond for us at every step of the way. The bartenders were so friendly and served drinks promptly. The food was amazing! Service was quick, even for 200 people, and our guests are still talking about how good everything was. The venue was so accommodating to any allergies/dietary restrictions we gave them. HGI made the process of dropping off decorations, cookies, and other wedding day items so easy. The staff played a huge role in setting up all our decor and it was beautiful! We were fortunate enough to have beautiful weather on our big day and held our ceremony outdoors. The outdoor ceremony location is so beautiful. There are also so many beautiful locations for pictures in and around the hotel! The staff at HGI made the entire planning process so easy for us. The event coordinator we worked with, Carolyn, was the deciding factor in choosing between our final 2 venues. She is AMAZING. She was there to answer every question we had, make recommendations, and every meeting we had with her went so smoothly. Having Carolyn there to help us throughout the planning process and on the big day helped relieve so much stress for us, we knew she would do everything in her power to make things go smoothly. Overall, we are SO happy with the decision we made to have HGI as our venue. We HIGHLY recommend this venue for anyone looking to have their wedding in the area!

If you are thinking of having your wedding anywhere in the Pittsburgh area, HGI Southpointe should be at the top of your list to visit. From the moment we visited, we knew this venue offered EVERYTHING we wanted for our big day. The ballroom is beautiful and can accommodate any vision. The cocktail hour area left plenty of room for our guests to mingle while still feeling like an intimate space. The outdoor space was the perfect backdrop for our ceremony. While the venue was perfect, we cannot describe how thankful we are for the staff. Although we did not originally book with Carolyn, I would not have changed our coordinator for anything. The HGI is lucky to have someone so talented, knowledgeable, and passionate about their job. From the many emails back and forth, the Zoom and in-person meetings, and making our specific vision come to life, we cannot express how thankful we are to have had her as part of our day. Carolyn was the best, and you NEED her for your big day too. On the big day, everything was seamless! Not only did Carolyn run the show perfectly, but she had amazing help from her teammate Kellyn. Although we did not meet Kellyn as often, she did not disappoint with her role. On the day of we were so thankful that Kellyn was there to the end to make sure we had everything that we needed. Kellyn was with us to keep us on time and make sure everything ran smoothly. These two make a great team. We would also like to give a big thanks and recommendation to the kitchen staff. We had never had such good food at a wedding, and you would not believe the portion sizes. They took care of every request, substitution, and allergy we threw at them and still made every meal perfectly. All of our guests raved about the food and service. Our server Danny was super sweet and made sure our bridal party was taken care of with each course during the reception AND rehearsal dinner. We cannot thank this staff enough for giving us the most perfect day. If we had to go back and do it all again, we would pick HGI and their team, no questions asked. Have your wedding here!

We chose HGI Southpointe for our wedding venue after the first visit. The grounds were gorgeous, the venue space was beautiful, and the attention to detail paid by Carolyn and staff were enough to make this decision a no brainer. From that very first meeting, everything was genuine, organized, precise, and comforting. Carolyn puts all her passion into helping couples get their big day across the finish line. Working through all the intimate details of a wedding is difficult enough, but with the loss of a parent just 2 weeks before the wedding made it extra difficult. Carolyn could not have been more accommodating and for that, we could not be more thankful. Our wedding went off without a hitch thanks to her and the staff. She kept everything in line, on time, and ensured that us and our 150 guests were all taken care of. The wait staff was on another level not normally seen for such large venues/events. They were attentive, polite, quick, and present. The food was OUT OF THIS WORLD and we are still getting compliments over a week later. Every item from the cocktail hour to the soup to the entrees were superb. We highly recommend renting the greene room on the 1st floor. The setup of the room is SUCH a vibe and the girls had so much fun getting ready in there. The outdoor ceremony location is beautifully curated and can be tailored to add anything you could possibly want. The garden is beautifully manicured and creates the perfect location for after ceremony pictures. The reception ball rooms are beautifully renovated with wonderful lighting that create the most inviting space for big or small receptions. The flexibility provided by all these spaces made our day go much smoother since we were able to hold our entire event on site at the HGI. We can't thank Carolyn and her team enough for providing the most perfect atmosphere and location for wedding day.

My husband and I are extremely happy that we chose Hilton Garden Inn Southpointe for our wedding venue. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, photos, reception, and hotel rooms all at HGI. I’m an out of state bride that planned a wedding through texts, emails and phone calls. That was a challenge on its own. I was super unfamiliar with the venues that Pittsburgh had to offer. My fiancé (at the time) and I were looking for a ballroom that could accommodate about 350 people. We looked at 12 venues. After narrowing down the list to 2 venues (HGI being one of them), our main determining factor was the coordinator. I knew from our first interaction that I wanted to work with Carolyn from the Hilton Garden Inn. I wanted to work with someone who was very involved with the planning process, efficient, well informed and gave several updates. All that and more describes Carolyn. I can’t say enough good things about her. I specifically changed my initial wedding date to be able to work with her. She was with me through the entire process. She found times that worked for my fiancé and I for our tasting. She updated me constantly! She gave us ideas of what we should add to our reception/ceremony. She recommended vendors. She was so patient and understanding throughout the whole process…. Even when I would send 2728292 updates to her every day and even with the time zone difference. She had answers to all my concerns. She was on top of everything. I wouldn’t have wanted to work with anyone else. Wedding Day was organized and went by super quickly! It was such a smooth process. Carolyn was there at all times checking on me.The head chef and his team know flavor and the food turned out beautifully seasoned! During our tasting, we got to try several different options for appetizers and entrees. The chef walked us through each option and allowed us to customize what sauces/sides/vegetables we wanted.We had our rehearsal dinner at HGI and the food was great! We loved loved loved the New York Strip. The “wedding day” food at cocktail hour and reception was PHENOMENAL! They accommodate all dietary restrictions. We had about 5 butler passed hors dourves, 6 stationary hors dourves, soup, salad, entree and dessert. We got our money’s worth for sure. Our guests are still raving about the food!! Get the filet mignon and the salmon! THEY WERE AMAZING!!! Carolyn helped coordinate all that!The staff was so nice and welcoming! They tried to accommodate all of our requests. The area around the hotel is quiet and peaceful. It’s close to Pittsburgh and the airport! The gazebo was perfect for our ceremony. The grand ballroom with all the chandeliers is beautiful for a reception. It comfortably fit about 250 guests and 2 bars!I can’t say enough good things about the venue, the coordinators (Carolyn and Kellyn (who was very present during my wedding day and super helpful)), the bartender (Shoutout Dina), the managers and all the staff. If you plan on having a wedding that will blow your mind, don’t hesitate to go with the Hilton Garden Inn at Pittsburgh Southpointe!

I’m an out of state bride that planned a wedding through texts, emails and phone calls. That was a challenge on its own. I was super unfamiliar with the venues that Pittsburgh had to offer. My fiancé (at the time) and I were looking for a ballroom that could accommodate about 350 people. We looked at 12 venues. After narrowing down the list to 2 venues (HGI being one of them), our main determining factor was the coordinator. I knew from our first interaction that I wanted to work with Carolyn from the Hilton Garden Inn. I wanted to work with someone who was very involved with the planning process, efficient, well informed and gave several updates. All that and more describes Carolyn. I can’t say enough good things about her. I specifically changed my initial wedding date to be able to work with her. She was with me through the entire process. She found times that worked for my fiancé and I for our tasting. She updated me constantly! She gave us ideas of what we should add to our reception/ceremony. She recommended vendors. She was so patient and understanding throughout the whole process…. Even when I would send 2728292 updates to her every day and even with the time zone difference. She had answers to all my concerns. She was on top of everything. I wouldn’t have wanted to work with anyone else. Wedding Day was organized and went by super quickly! It was such a smooth process. Carolyn was there at all times checking on me.The head chef and his team know flavor and the food turned out beautifully seasoned! During our tasting, we got to try several different options for appetizers and entrees. The chef walked us through each option and allowed us to customize what sauces/sides/vegetables we wanted.We had our rehearsal dinner at HGI and the food was great! We loved loved loved the New York Strip. The “wedding day” food at cocktail hour and reception was PHENOMENAL! They accommodate all dietary restrictions. We had about 5 butler passed hors dourves, 6 stationary hors dourves, soup, salad, entree and dessert. We got our money’s worth for sure. Our guests are still raving about the food!! Get the filet mignon and the salmon! THEY WERE AMAZING!!! Carolyn helped coordinate all that!The staff was so nice and welcoming! They tried to accommodate all of our requests. The area around the hotel is quiet and peaceful. It’s close to Pittsburgh and the airport! The gazebo was perfect for our ceremony. The grand ballroom with all the chandeliers is beautiful for a reception. It comfortably fit about 250 guests and 2 bars!I can’t say enough good things about the venue, the coordinators (Carolyn and Kellyn (who was very present during my wedding day and super helpful)), the bartender (Shoutout Dina), the managers and all the staff. If you plan on having a wedding that will blow your mind, don’t hesitate to go with the Hilton Garden Inn at Pittsburgh Southpointe!

The HGI Pittsburgh/Southpointe should be your choice in wedding ceremony and/or reception. The outdoor area for a ceremony is beautiful and doubles as a great campus for photos. The ballrooms are gorgeous, the food is delicious, and the bridal greene room is a beautiful spot to get ready for the day. Carolyn was incredible to work with and made wedding planning easy. The HGI has the process down to a science, they are very good at what they do, and they take a huge burden off of the bride so you can enjoy the day! Jackson's restaurant also has great food if you'd like to have your rehearsal dinner on-site, or have an after party following your reception. I could not recommend HGI enough - get married here!!!

Words can't express how happy I was with the service at Hilton Garde Inn. My daughter and I toured many venues prior to choosing the Hilton. We were won over by Carolyn their event planner. She is truly the reason we chose this particular Hilton. We toured three other Hilton's and none of them had staff that was engaged or as enthusiastic as Carolyn. I was so impressed with her attention to detail that I booked my daughter's shower there also. The wedding and shower went out without a hitch. From the time I arrived the day prior to the wedding. I had everyone go above and beyond for my daughter. Special thanks to Katelyn who assisted with putting the tags onto our gift bags when I was running late. It was so appreciated. She was very gracious and offered to finish for me when I said I was going to finish after my appointment. I cannot express enough thanks to Mark and his team of Debbie and Alicia who took special care of my guests at breakfast. They made a special breakfast for my daughter who has dietary issues. It made her day and was so kind.The front desk staff including Mayella and Michael were so helpful with my guests and facilitating cookie and decorations dop offs and then pick-ups after the wedding. The wedding day itself was beautiful. The wait staff- Kellyn, Courtlyn, Kaelyn, Stacy, Amari and Rachel did a great job serving the food and were very attentive to the guests. Dina did a great job on Bar duty and kudos for the great job she did facilitating my daughter's shower earlier in the month.From start to finish it was a great day. Even Don, the general took the time to come over and great the family and offered his services if we needed anything. It was a nice touch. The whole process from start to finish was very organized. Carolyn was so gracious answering my many emails and coming up with solutions for any issue I had. Everything was beyond perfect and Carolyn helped us through every small detail. From the food to the set up she had everything under control and made everything so easy! The staff was unbelievably amazing and truly cared about us as a couple! I felt like everyone was family and they didn’t treat us as just another couple getting married! There were even small things I had forgotten and the night before the wedding Carolyn went above and beyond and got everything I needed! Even down to the bouquet that I forgot! She had one made and waiting for me the next day which was the morning of the wedding! Everything was included and they set up everything and if we wanted to change anything they were so accommodating! I absolutely LOVED having my wedding here! Our coordinator was Carolyn, and I cannot recommend her enough. She made everything so easy, she was so detailed oriented and organized, and is without a doubt one of the sweetest people I know. There wasn't any point leading up to the wedding where I felt confused, or had any doubts as we were constantly kept up to date with timelines, to do lists, etc. I am also the first out of any of my friends to get married, so I really didn't have a clue when it came to certain details and Carolyn helped us every step of the way. A month before my wedding, I unfortunately had an accident and completely destroyed my ankle resulting in multiple surgeries and leaving me wheelchair bound for my big day. Carolyn didn't even sweat it and assured me no matter what we were still going to make it the best day possible. My wedding was more than I ever could have asked or dreamed for and more, and I have Carolyn and the amazing staff to thank for that. 10/7/22 will forever be the greatest, most beautiful day of my life and I am so thankful we chose to have it here. If I could give then a hundred stars I would!

We had our wedding a few weeks ago and cannot recommend HGI Southpointe enough - everything from the food, decor, and vendor coordination was seamless and exactly the way we wanted. We got so many comments from family and friends about how much the enjoyed the food, decor, and other aspects of our wedding. It’s also super helpful that you can get ready, have a ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all at one venue. A huge benefit was having coordinators with the venue who helped with planning every step of the way- with prompt responses to questions leading up to the wedding, and lots of support in the days leading up to and on the day of the wedding that made everything go off without a hitch even with some last minute changes. Alex and Carolyn were amazing and we loved working with them and this venue!

STOP YOUR SEARCHING AND BOOK THIS VENUE!! If I could give the Hilton Garden Inn and their staff a 10 star rating I would. Carolyn is the BEST and sweetest person to work with.. and when I say she will make your dreams come true.. I mean that she will take your dream and turn it into something way more than you could have ever imagined. We just had our reception here on 7/30/22 and are still in awe of how PERFECT everything was. Being that I just went through this process... I know how stressful planning can be. Carolyn took all the stress away and gave us the most perfect day of our lives!! Carolyn was there to ensure we got the best of the best AND at a reasonable price. I cannot thank her and her team enough for everything that they did. You can tell they went above and beyond for us and our day. I am telling you that you will not regret booking them. We have talked to so many other vendors prior to Carolyn but as soon as we meet with her it just all made sense. She was really so helpful and just so so kind. She is someone you want by your side to help plan your day. She made sure our dreams came true. I cannot recommend this venue enough. It turned out absolutely gorgeous .. We had all 3 sections of the ballroom and had around 200 guests. Every single one of those guests had told us how beautiful our wedding was and how AMAZING THE FOOD WAS. I almost forgot to mention.. the FOOD .. 100/100!! We went with the dual entrée of chicken and filet ... seriously so amazing. Best chicken we ever had. STOP YOUR SEARCHING AND BOOK THIS VENUE!! If I could give the Hilton Garden Inn and their staff a 10 star rating I would. Carolyn is the BEST and sweetest person to work with.. and when I say she will make your dreams come true.. I mean that she will take your dream and turn it into something way more than you could have ever imagined. We just had our reception here on 7/30/22 and are still in awe of how PERFECT everything was. Being that I just went through this process... I know how stressful planning can be. Carolyn took all the stress away and gave us the most perfect day of our lives!! The ballroom is able to accommodate both large and small weddings, and the outdoor ceremony space is gorgeous. We got so many compliments on how amazing the food was. The Hilton Garden Inn at Southpointe was absolutely magical. Jake and I worked directly with Alex and she could not have made the planning or our wedding day run more smoothly. Our wedding day could not have been more perfect thanks to Alex and the other employees at HGI. The reception was absolutely beautiful and they did a great job accommodating us throughout the pandemic for other events including the bridal shower. We could not think of one negative thing to say about this location! Big thank you to everyone at the Southpointe Hilton Garden Inn.

While looking for a venue, my husband and I wanted everything in one location. The Hilton immediately sold us with the outdoor ceremony space, newly renovated ballroom and amazing bridal suite. We cannot thank the Hilton enough for their flexibility, support and hard work to make our dream wedding a reality! We truly had the best day and would recommend the Hilton to anyone looking for a wedding venue in the Pittsburgh area!

I cannot say enough amazing things about how effortless Alex, this staff, and the venue made our experience. We had our wedding on September 6, 2020 and it truly was the best day of our lives!! You would never know we had to tweak a few components due to COVID because it actually turned out even better than I could have planned or imagined and that is all thanks to Alex and the staff there! We ended up having our wedding reception under a beautiful white tent in their back garden area. It was decorated with string lights and chandeliers. It was perfect and stunning! I knew our experience at the Hilton was going to be great, but it surpassed everything we could have thought. I cannot recommend this venue and the wonderful staff enough! Alex is fantastic to work with and made me feel so relaxed and comfortable about every single detail. She is a wonderful planner and takes the time to listen and visualize with you. The food is wonderful, too! We continue to receive compliments from our friends and family about the experience, food, and venue. Every detail was planned and executed smoothly. It was everything we wanted it to be and more! Book this venue! It is amazing and it will be everything you want it to be and more!! Alex is phenomenal, the venue is beautiful, and it will truly be the best day you could ever imagine for your wedding!

Amidst the Covid pandemic, multiple mandates, different for all counties in PA, Alex Jordan @ The Hilton Garden Inn- Southpointe, came through for my daughter’s wedding BIG TIME! After having to reschedule the date four times, my daughter said, no more! She wanted the wedding to happen no matter what! The couple did hold an intimate ceremony on the initial date they chose for their wedding, May 3, 2020, in a backyard ceremony with immediate family, and then intended to hold their dream wedding, as planned August 9th. County mandates for their original venue would only allow 50 guests- and that number included the couple and bridal party. This was not acceptable to this new couple;as they had already had a small celebration, they wanted to be surrounded by all family and friends! 2 weeks prior to the date, our DJ, Chaz Hurlbut @ 2nd ll None( see review) gave us a contact at HGI- Alex Jordan. HGI-Southpointe, is in a different county, so different mandates. We worked with Alex and Carolyn for 2 weeks- this venue had purchased a huge event tent and it allowed for the number of invited guests! Alex went above and beyond, knowing that the wedding wouldn’t be “as planned” she made it as close to, if not BETTER than the couple had envisioned their special day! The menu perfectly matched the original plan, the decor was even more beautiful, more vintage than expected. The couple had their own centerpieces; vintage books for her (an English Teacher), vintage cameras and video cameras for him (videographer/cinematographer) and Alex displayed everything so elegantly!! The bridal party and some guests stayed the night before, as it was an early ceremony, 1115am and reception immediately following with brunch served. The day ran smoothly and perfectly - actually BETTER THAN PLANNED!The servers were spectacular!! Prior to the pandemic it was supposed to be a buffet, but Chef, Alex and the servers, following all covid rules, made it look effortless! I received so many compliments the day of the wedding and days and weeks after and we are still talking about it! For these 2 days, we were able to relax, have fun and be in the moment and not have to think about what’s going on in the world. Even though certain ways of doing things had to be “different” Alex put the couple, the guests, and this day at the forefront; and all done safely. If you are a displaced bride, or find yourself having to reduce your guest count or make changes due to covid- I urge you to contact Alex Jordan! I promise you she will make your day as close to what you have planned... if not BETTER!!

We had our wedding at the Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh/Southpointe on October 19, 2019, and we were truly blown away by how amazing our experience was. From the day that we toured the Hilton, Alex truly made us feel like family. On our wedding day, she went above and beyond to make sure that our ceremony went smoothly, and that our reception was everything we dreamed of and more. Alex was truly my saving grace on our wedding day. I can't thank her enough for all that she did. As for the ceremony/reception, the staff truly made everything look stunning. It exceeded all of our expectations. Our wedding was almost two months ago, and we continue to receive compliments on the food and venue. The appetizers, salad, and main course were all AMAZING. We were so, so pleased with everything on our wedding day. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Go see this place! I truly can't say enough about this place and their team! I didn't want to have to worry about some of the little things and they did way more than I could have ever imagined! Our day of was perfect in every way. It was the little details like having some of our favorite cookies, cake, and food up in our room for later that evening that was the icing on the cake! The room was gorgeous and the hotel was a great place for friends and family to stay (from far and near). If you're someone who is worried about food: they got your back! We got so many compliments on the food (filet and crab cake) and everyone loved the appetizers! You won't be disappointed at all.

We got married here on 10/12/2019 and it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Not only was the venue beautiful with its recent updates, but we got married on the outdoor patio and the way the sun hit the area during our ceremony was truly stunning. Alex Jordan was our coordinator and we couldn’t have done it without her. We booked almost two years before our wedding, and she was with us every step of the way. She kept things moving and let us know where we needed to be and what we needed to do at all times. I am so grateful she was there to help make our day everything we hoped for! Our guest list was about 220, and everyone fit perfectly in the ballroom and outside. The food was amazing, and the staff made sure everyone was always taken care of. We got so many compliments throughout the evening about the venue as well. I cannot recommend this venue enough!!

This was an AMAZING venue. Joann was our coordinator and point of contact and she was a dream to work with. I loved that we could have our ceremony, reception and a place for the guests to stay all in one place. Everything went off without a hitch the entire day. Everybody says your wedding day is the best day ever...and it truly was! Thanks to my AMAZING wedding coordinator Joanna and the rest of the HGI staff! We got married on 6/1/2019 and with a lot of guests coming in from out of town this was a great location! We did our rehearsal dinner on site, ceremony and reception! We used the Hilton Garden Inn (Southpointe) as our guest hotel. They recently remodeled the property and it looks great. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed their stay and remarked how convenient the location was to our wedding venue. The hotel is located in the South Hills of Pittsburgh but provides easy access to the city as well.We also had our day after wedding brunch at the hotel and they did an outstanding job providing us with a private space and several buffet options for us to choose from.We were impressed with Alexandra and Robin who we worked with from the start. They both had great suggestions and ideas on how we could make our guests comfortable and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We would highly recommend the HGI for use as a guest hotel, for your day after breakfast or brunch or for your wedding ceremony and/ or reception. Although we used the HGI as a guest hotel we have attended a wedding reception in one of their ballrooms in the past and were impressed then just as we are now.

My husband and I really wanted to have an outdoor ceremony with an indoor reception and HGI was a “one stop shop” with everything we wanted and needed. They had the perfect outdoor ceremony location, rooms for us to get ready in, cocktail hour, reception, lodging, and the bar attached for the after party were all in the same hotel. The hotel was recently renovated and everything was beautiful. Every single worker was kind and friendly. The food was delicious we have gotten so many compliments on both the hors d’oeuvres and the dinner! The best thing about this venue though was hands down our coordinator, JOANNA! I asked her so many questions leading up to the wedding and she always answered so quickly and was always showing enthusiasm and excitement. She kept us on our timeline, she made sure we didn’t need a single thing, and she was fun and positive the entire time! I even had an upset stomach while getting ready and she brought me some miracle drink that helped immensely! We dropped all of our items off to her the week of and her and her team set everything up (perfectly might I add), tore it down, and coordinated with all of our vendors for us. My husband and I really wanted to have an outdoor ceremony with an indoor reception and HGI was a “one stop shop” with everything we wanted and needed. They had the perfect outdoor ceremony location, rooms for us to get ready in, cocktail hour, reception, lodging, and the bar attached for the after party were all in the same hotel. The hotel was recently renovated and everything was beautiful. Every single worker was kind and friendly. The food was delicious we have gotten so many compliments on both the hors d’oeuvres and the dinner! The best thing about this venue though was hands down our coordinator, JOANNA! I asked her so many questions leading up to the wedding and she always answered so quickly and was always showing enthusiasm and excitement. She kept us on our timeline, she made sure we didn’t need a single thing, and she was fun and positive the entire time! I even had an upset stomach while getting ready and she brought me some miracle drink that helped immensely! We dropped all of our items off to her the week of and her and her team set everything up (perfectly might I add), tore it down, and coordinated with all of our vendors for us. Honestly, request Joanna if you are able, she is a life saver and she spoiled us!

We just had my daughter’s wedding at the Hilton Garden Inn and I would give them 10 stars if possible! Everything was above and beyond my expectations. Joanna was our event coordinator and she was fabulous from our first consultation until I hugged her goodbye the night of the wedding. She was professional , courteous, friendly, supportive , caring and very good at her job and you could tell she loved what she does. She answered all my questions and concerns quickly throughout the process and day of the wedding anticipated my needs and was 2 steps ahead. The whole staff works so well together. Alex was there the morning of the wedding and helped start our day until Joanna came on site and was extremely helpful as we were getting everything and everyone ready. But it wasn’t just the coordinators that were phenomenal it truly was the whole staff. The wait staff and kitchen staff were wonderful. The food was superb! We have had so many people say it was the best food they ever had at a wedding. It was cooked perfectly and served quickly. The staff was friendly and so helpful. The renovated ballroom is gorgeous and the courtyard was the perfect setting for an outdoor wedding. The rooms were comfortable. Beds were good and showers hot. Guests of ours noticed all these things. Everyone gave rave reviews. I would not hesitate to use them again for any event. It truly was a fabulous experience from start to finish !

She offered professional and honest advice that was so helpful when I had a ton on my plate like every other bride. The ballroom has just been remodeled and it is honestly worth stopping by to take a look at. It is modern and can suit any type of wedding. My husband cannot stop tslling about the food. They have a ton of options to choose from. They are cautious with food allergies so that is one less thing to worry about on your big day. The staff is great and efficient! Alex set up the ceremony and reception hall exactly as I envisioned it. She really listened to what I wanted and she made everything look fairytale perfect. I feel like she went above and beyond for us. She bustled my dress for me (because my mom couldn't figure it out, lol) and treated me like I was royalty. There wasn't a thing she didn't do or wouldn't do to make my day perfect. I feel like I was blessed to have found her and I was sad when the wedding was over because at the end, she felt like family! Where do I start! Alexandra Jordan our wedding planner was an absolute joy to work with! After our first meeting and sharing our vision she was able to guide us through all the things we needed to get it done the way we wanted. She kept us under our budget and was exceptionally nice when answering any of all of my random questions! On our wedding day everything we dreamed of! It went so smooth and we were on time for everything because of Alex! Every single idea and detail my husband and I had was executed far beyond our expectations!!! We gave her are idea and all the decor and she used the items to create our perfect wedding! I left some decorI wasn't sure how to utilize with Alex and she placed in ways I never thought of and LOVED IT!!! THE FOOD, the food was so...delicious and all cooked to perfection! All of our guests kept running up to us after dinner and saying, \" OMG! I never like wedding food, but this was out of this world amazing! I had my wedding here on 10.6.18. The day was absolutely perfect!! Hilton garden inn is amazing!! We were able to have an outdoor ceremony. The ceremony space and the reception hall was soooo beautiful! Joanna is seriously the best wedding coordinator ever. She made everything so easy and she was quick with responses she answered all my questions. She calmed my mind when I worried about the weather. She made sure everything was perfect. I wouldn’t change anything. Joanna made my wedding stress free and perfect. I would definitely recommend Hilton garden inn and if you get Joanna as your wedding coordinator you will be in good hands!!!

We just had our wedding at the southpointe HGI. Our entire experience was incredible. Alex, our wedding coordinator, made everything seamless. She was incredible throughout the process from planning to tearing down, ensuring every detail was perfect. She is very easy to get a hold of which put us at ease. Her attention to detail is phenomenal, and she is the utmost professional. The location is amazing, in every aspect. plenty of room for the cocktail hour, the reception halls have all the room you can ask for to dance, and the rooms (which I believe were just renovated) were amazing. An extra story about this location: we had one of our guest (the best man's father) who had dietary restrictions that we did not relay. The chef personally came out and adjusted meals and appetizers for him. We did not find out about this until a couple days later. It completely warmed our hearts, and sealed how amazing this place is.

There are no words to describe how perfect my husband and I's wedding day was on 7/27/18. Joanna, our wedding coordinator at the Hilton, was phenomenal. She was able to make my vision come alive from the ceremony to the reception and beyond. When I was feeling nervous or stressed, Joanna was always there for me. She kept me calm, cool and collected throughout the entire planning process, rehearsal and on our wedding day. On our wedding day, I was nervous and excited, like every bride. Alex, the other wedding coordinator, came in and visited me when my bridesmaids and I were getting ready and asked if I needed anything to eat, drink or anything else she could do. She brought me cereal, which was amazing because I knew I couldn't stomach a heavy breakfast with all the nerves! The food was delicious all around! The accommodations were excellent especially with the new renovations. The courtyard ceremony site was perfect. Honestly, I can't believe how perfect it was. Thank you Joanna for making our wedding day perfect and everything I ever dreamed of. <3 I highly recommend the Hilton Garden Inn Southpointe. You want everything you ever dreamed of in one place for your wedding day. This is where you go.

We just had our wedding at the HGI at Southpointe on 6/29/2018 and I can truly say it was everything I’ve ever dreamed of and more! Joanna is the most amazing wedding planner. She was so responsive to emails, and helped us throw together a next day breakfast the week of. I had been to 3 weddings at the Hilton Garden Inn before my own wedding. If we had to redo our entire wedding, we would NOT! We got married on Friday, September 22nd, 2017. Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh/Southpointe is an amazing venue and what made it even better was working with Alex. From our first meeting, to our in between meetings, to our wedding day, she was helpful, professional, and helped us plan our DREAM wedding. We had our ceremony and reception on site and would not change a thing. Everything flowed so smoothly, the food was delicious, and the staff was so helpful! I would recommend this venue to anyone who is getting married! Thank you again and again and again!!

If we had to redo our entire wedding, we would NOT! We got married on Friday, September 22nd, 2017. Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh/Southpointe is an amazing venue and what made it even better was working with Alex. From our first meeting, to our in between meetings, to our wedding day, she was helpful, professional, and helped us plan our DREAM wedding. We had our ceremony and reception on site and would not change a thing. Everything flowed so smoothly, the food was delicious, and the staff was so helpful! I would recommend this venue to anyone who is getting married! Thank you again and again and again!!

The Hilton Garden Inn in Southpointe is a beautiful venue to have a wedding. The outside/inside options are very accommodating. The staff is professional and friendly. If you are a bride, they have specified coordinators who helped you plan and prepare for your big day. Luckily one of my close friends, Joanna Bazzano was my coordinator who was fantastic. She was so organized and available at any time. My husband and I had an incredible time on our wedding day at the Hilton Garden Inn at Southpointe. I highly recommend them.

My husband and I did not follow the \"traditional\" route to getting married. We initially planned a big wedding for July and then decided to get married in December (9 days before we actually did). We decided to still have the reception in July for all of our family and friends. Alex at the Hilton Garden Inn made 'both' of our wedding absolutely incredible! I am so thankful that we chose The Hilton Garden Inn in Southpointe! I did not have to worry about anything on either days. I highly recommend having your wedding here!

I don't know where to begin with how amazing working with Alex and her staff at the Hilton Garden Inn-Southpointe was at our wedding this past weekend. From beginning to end, Alex was absolutely incredible as a planner and made sure every detail was captured and executed. She worked with us to keep our vision in mind, and had awesome ideas when we needed them. The staff overall was excellent and worked hard to make sure we experienced our wedding day seamlessly! Alex answered all of my family's and my questions along the way, and worked hard to make sure everything was perfect. We are Jewish, and Alex worked with our Rabbi to make sure everything was in place to make sure all the traditions could be practiced - that was so special. The entire staff at HGI-Southpointe made this whole weekend absolutely incredible. Between the experience planning, to the execution of the entire weekend (ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception), we absolutely felt that everything was excellent and I have no complaints whatsoever. I 100% recommend this venue and would book an event here again in a heartbeat.

And that's what people remember. If they had fun and if they were fed well. Our guest chose from a pan seared chicken with pesto cream sauce and a filet- both were to die for. If you want the most important date of your life to exceed every expectation you've ever had since you were a 5 year old girl planning her dream wedding, trust me and and contact Joanna at Hilton Garden Inn Southpointe.

Our wedding was beautiful, amazing and everything I ever dreamed of. We worked with Joanna and she was beyond perfect. Joanna made sure everything was what we wanted and always answered in a timely matter. When I first saw the reception hall for the first time the day of the wedding I was blown away. Our wedding was beautiful, amazing and everything I ever dreamed of. We worked with Joanna and she was beyond perfect. Our wedding was absolutely amazing and a dream come true! We worked with Alex and she was beyond amazing! The courtyard is beautiful and our reception was gorgeous! She is very easy to talk to, she made myself my new husband and both families feel very welcomed and would answer anything in a timely manner and if she did not know something she would find it out and get back to us! We had no problems or issues through the whole process, our wedding day was stress free. Alex took care of anything that we asked right away. She is very easy to work with and understand the stress of planning a wedding. The the HGI at Southpointe is beautiful, the staff was also great! I would highly recommend this venue for your wedding and ceremony!

I had my wedding at the Hilton Garden Inn, Southpointe on 10/24/15. All I can say is WOW! Meaghan and the staff made the room look amazing. It literally took my breath away. Everyone at the wedding raved about how great the staff was and they checked on my husband and myself through out the night to see if we needed anything. Meaghan made the planning part so easy and she was someone I could trust/rely on for making detailed decisions. Even when Meaghan was off on certain days, the other planner Alex was always so helpful and kind to us. I have nothing but great things to say about this place. I would recommend them to anyone!! \r\rOh and the food was to die for :)

We worked with Alex as our Wedding coordinator at HGI. She was amazing. Anything we needed, she took care of, no questions. They were so accommodating with some of the ethnic traditions we wanted to keep at the reception and it was such a relief. We had a huge wedding, 424 guests, so we were a little stressed about managing that many guests, food, etc. HGI and Alex made it a seamless process. Food was fantastic as well! We were extremely happy with the turn out and how amazing everyone was at HGI... especially Alex! Alex was a huge help and I can't say enough about her!! Location is also great for out of town guests - right off the highway and close to the casino, great restaurants, etc. All of our guests raved about the venue and food.
