Hilton Hasbrouck Heights Reviews
Suzanne Santiago(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 06-11-2015 After searching for Hotel Rooms in the area we were able to get the Hitlon for the lowest price. When booking please make sure you mention you are the bride and groom if you will be staying in the hotel. They give you a complimentary bottle of champagne & chocolate covered strawberries. They also have an onsite bar & pool. The rooms are well kept and the view is stunning. Reviewed on 23-11-2015
Sandra Sg(bride)3 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 07-06-2008 Im torn as to what kind of review to give these guys. The end product meaning the room and breakfast we hosted were great and went off without a hitch. What was painful was the catering manager. She was awful at getting back to us and just plain sucked. Kristin McHale(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 01-04-2006 We booked it a year before the wedding date, so we got locked into a cheaper price per person after the prices went up in the new year. The entire building had just been remodeled, so everything was brand new. We were in the top room, which is surrounded in windows for a nice setting. All of the employees were very nice. They threw in a free ice sculpture and chocolate fountain for our cocktail hour. The man in charge got napkins to match our wedding colors (that the hotel did not previously offer).;There are four large posts around the dance floor, and some guest tables were positioned right behind them. The people who were seated at those tables had to get up from the table to see anything happening on the other side of the room. Reviewed on 10-05-2010
Heather Birnbaum(bride)5 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 21-04-2006 My personal assistant or waitress was amazing. The manager or woman forseeing my wedding was very accomidating.;Some of my guests did not get fed or were fed very very late. If you want your favors left in the bags that you put them in, let them know you want to keep them in them and DO NOT PUT NEXT TO CANDLE, unless you want the firemen at your wedding. BREDA SNEE(bride)4 out of 5 Rating Wedding Date 07-10-2006 I loved the fact that my reception was in a hotel so anyone who wanted to stay was able to. I loved the view of NY, the food was great and the room was nice.;There were many changes in our party manager that led to MANY things getting lost in the shuffle. We were often given wrong names and information. We were promised people would call us and then we would hear from no one. We were the ones making phone calls to them to find out when we needed to make the next payment because nobody seemed to be in charge of our event. When we went to make our second payment we were told the gentleman was there so we waited an hour for him only to find out he had never been there at all. We signed one contract before the hotel was renovated and then when we went for our tasting we were told things different from our contract. One of the people that we were working with actually YELLED at us across the hotel lobby when we went for our tasting. Dealing with them the day before the wedding had me in tears and led my now husband to have to yell at people! As beautiful and reasonable as the venue is, there were too many things that went on that almost led to ruining our day. No venue should have a bride in tears the day before her wedding our have the groom 'all fired up'. Meeting times were often not kept and as a bride, that was not easy to deal with.
