Overall was very satisfied with all of it. The communication was quick and efficient, I never felt like I was waiting for an answer to any of my questions. It was a wonderful experience working with Kate, she was so helpful preparing for our wedding as well as on the day of. She helped make the flow of the day work so well, taking care of things so we didnât need to stress or worry about it. The hotel itself was beautiful and worked perfect for the size of our wedding.

She helped relieve a lot of stress when it came to planning out the day and how everything was to be set up. The dinner staff and everyone that helped out, did an incredible job and made the evening move smoothly. If I had to do it all over again, I would 100% pick Hilton Bloomington-Minneapolis.

We decided to use the Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington because it was perfect proximity from our wedding venues. The Catering Sales Manager, Kate, was very helpful setting up the room blocks for Fri. and Sat. night and was very accommodating getting us in suites and the Presidential Suite on the 11th floor. The girls used the Washington Room to get ready and the space, food and refreshments were all great. The Chop House was a great gathering space for out of town guests the night before the big day. We only heard positive hotel reviews from our guests, so we would definitely recommend to others looking for a room block.

She also responded very quickly to emails, was more than willing to set up a phone call, and went above and beyond her basic job title. I cannot recommend this Hilton and Kate enough!

We had an amazing wedding reception at the Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington! My wife and I, as well as many of our guests, traveled in from out of town. The hotel was very accommodating with various arrival times and check-ins. The free shuttle to/from the airport was especially helpful! As far as planning the reception, Kate made the whole process easy and stress-free. She was very transparent when explaining all of the details and options to cater our reception to the needs of us and our guests. She was great at setting the timeline and keeping track of everything at each step leading up to our event! We would definitely recommend Kate and the team at Hilton in coordinating your special event!

Kate is amazing and made our day great! Her team was respectful, quick to respond, and very professional. The Hilton helped with a lot of the small detail items which made our lives a lot easier. The catering is in house so that is one less thing to coordinate and the food was delicious and priced reasonably. We received many compliments on the food from the guests. We loved having the reception at the hotel so guests could just go upstairs after the wedding without worrying about driving anywhere. We would highly recommend having a wedding reception at the Hilton in Bloomington off of 494 and France!

Kate is amazing and made our day great! Her team was respectful, quick to respond, and very professional. The Hilton helped with a lot of the small detail items which made our lives a lot easier. Other venues we had looked at charged for absolutely every detail--the Hilton had most everything available complimentary, and were able to customize my vision. They worked with me to bring in decor the week of my wedding, but I still didn't need much as they provide so much! They kept our flowers, cake, and decor in their coolers or storage, which allowed for us to not be running around on the eve or morning of our wedding. It was absolutely fabulous and I would 100% recommend working with them!

As the father of the bride, I have perhaps a different perspective on my daughter's wedding. The Hilton in Bloomington was wonderful, and specifically Kate Hughes, our contact there, could not have been more accommodating. As I planned financially, Kate was willing to collaborate on spreadsheets, highlighting options and relevant costs. She sat down with my daughter and (finally!) son-in-law to go over all their choices. There was ZERO pressure to upsell. She encouraged people to do what was right for them and plan appropriately. She knew how to make the bride and groom happy, as well as keeping the parents well informed.The event itself was flawless, which is not something I ever thought I would say. Kate orchestrated the day, keeping me in the loop as much as I wanted. She coordinated everything we asked for, whether it was from the hotel or from a third party: Decor, flowers, cakes, food, the ceremony, bridal dressing suites, tables, photography, the bar, \"moments,\" such as the bride and groom's first looks at one another... and she was masterful. The best compliment I could give to the Hilton (and to Kate) is that no one even knew she was there that day. Things just happened \"magically,\" on cue, and as planned. She allowed the spotlight to remain on the married couple.If I had to do this all over again, I would go out of my way to find Kate Hughes and (hopefully) the rest of the staff at the Hilton.They were absolute perfection...

My daughter got married here last week and I do not have enough good things to say. From the start, Kate Hughes was attentive to detail and walked us through each piece of the puzzle little by little so we werenât overwhelmed. The food at the Hilton was incredible. We went with a buffet style and offered two options, chicken and beef. I had guests approach me all night that were ranting and raving about the food. It was a beautiful night and I canât thank the Hilton and Kate Hughes enough!

From the start, Kate Hughes was attentive to detail and walked us through each piece of the puzzle little by little so we werenât overwhelmed. The food at the Hilton was incredible. We went with a buffet style and offered two options, chicken and beef. I had guests approach me all night that were ranting and raving about the food. It was a beautiful night and I canât thank the Hilton and Kate Hughes enough!

I don't even know where to start. The ENTIRE experience here was nothing short of perfection. Having your wedding here and working with Kate Hughes will be the best thing you ever do. In addition to the entire process being so seamless, every single person on staff is so welcoming and kind - they truly do want you to have the PERFECT day. Night of, I had multiple people come up to me and say that this was the best wedding food they had ever had. We did a buffet with a boneless chicken breast and pork. I had a guest that had a newborn with her and when asking if there was a place she could feed him, the front desk offered her an entire hotel room. They could NOT have been more accommodating. The entire staff is second to none. The ballroom has 4 beautiful chandeliers that sparkle once the lights are turned down and our whole evening was the most special night. It ended with a complimentary suite for my fiance and I. Not enough good things to say...Book this venue now you will not regret it!!!!!!!!!

I don't even know where to start. The ENTIRE experience here was nothing short of perfection. Having your wedding here and working with Kate Hughes will be the best thing you ever do. In addition to the entire process being so seamless, every single person on staff is so welcoming and kind - they truly do want you to have the PERFECT day. Night of, I had multiple people come up to me and say that this was the best wedding food they had ever had. We did a buffet with a boneless chicken breast and pork. We loved having our wedding at the Hilton. Everything was so easy since the meals were included in the final quote. I appreciated that Hilton was able to offer outside catering as Indian food was very important for us to have at our wedding. They have India Palace (Eden prairie) as their preferred choice and the food was so delicious! Not only did my event coordinator basically become a free wedding planner, every employee at the hotel worked very hard to keep myself, my groom, and every one of my guests happy during their whole stay, not just on the wedding. Riana coordinated everything for me on the day of, and everything went off without a hitch, which is rare for a wedding! The food was great, and the bartenders were friendly and knowledgable. Anything I asked for, the hotel did their very best to accomodate (I don't think there was a single request they said no to!). My husband and I literally had no notes or complaints for the staff at the hotel. GO...WITH...THIS...HOTEL! You will not regret it! And make sure Riana is your event coordinator :)

When we booked this venue they had a list of suggestions of other venders to use which was very nice. Better than I could have imagined!Working with Kelly Huseman at the Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington was such a gift in the wedding planning process. Our wedding was so much nicer -- truly a dreamy, stress free, gorgeous wedding -- than I thought possible when we first began searching for venues with our budget. I appreciated that Kelly & the Hilton were always up front with details about the venue and its costs as well as flexible so that our wedding truly felt unique and valued there. At no point were any of our ideas off the table for budget, it was simply a matter of how to make things happen. Seriously, some of my friends are shocked that \"a hotel wedding\" felt so beautiful and fun because they've been to many that just feel... fine or stuffy. That is not the case here! We really cared about our guests' experience at the wedding, and the Hilton did, too. Words are not doing justice to how blown away we are by the Hilton & Kelly's work.We had an amazing taco bar buffet for our dinner and it was seriously delicious! It was a great dinner for all of our friends and family with whatever dietary restrictions they had: picky eaters, vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free -- we had them all and they were all super happy with the dinner. Our cocktail hour featured pizzas that were continually replenished during the hour and were kept hot with warmers the entire time. The hallway surrounding the ballroom made for a great space for cocktail hour and our DJ kept the music going, which was so fun. On top of all of that, the venue is gorgeous and my pictures certainly don't do it justice (RIP I feel like I'm letting you down, Kelly!). It feels more grand in person than it does in photos -- the chandelier installations add lots of glamour, but the ballroom itself is pretty neutral, so it can really work with a lot of styles. The suite to get ready in was spacious, beautiful, and just what we needed for the bridal party. The day of the wedding, Kelly took care of EVERYTHING. We did not have to worry about a single detail related to vendors or set up or any of it. And it was all so beautifully pulled together, especially due to Kelly's advice and suggestions throughout the planning process. Seriously, choose this venue, choose to work with Kelly. We are so immensely grateful to have gotten married at the Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington. Kelly was our event coordinator and she made sure everything ran smoothly, even from the first meeting with her I knew we were in great hands! My Husband and I had our reception at the Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington. Kelly Huseman was our coordinator. She was such a joy to work with and I always enjoyed seeing her at our meetings! She answered my hundreds of questions and always reassured she was going to make our day perfect. The day of she set up our guestbook table, name card table, wedding favors and more! It all turned out so beautiful and I appreciate the eye she has for detail and made everything look perfect. The food was so delicious and we received many rave reviews! We had our wedding on a Sunday so we also received complimentary 2 night stay in the presidential suit, which was a beautiful space to get ready with my girls. After the night was over my husband and I got to our room and Kelly had written us a super sweet note and left champagne and chocolates! Little things like these are why we are so happy we chose Hilton. We also received complimentary uplighting which was a beautiful touch to the ballroom. Overall we are super pleased with how everything turned out and I couldnât recommend Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington more!

We had our wedding on a Sunday so we also received complimentary 2 night stay in the presidential suit, which was a beautiful space to get ready with my girls. After the night was over my husband and I got to our room and Kelly had written us a super sweet note and left champagne and chocolates! Little things like these are why we are so happy we chose Hilton. We also received complimentary uplighting which was a beautiful touch to the ballroom. Overall we are super pleased with how everything turned out and I couldnât recommend Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington more!

We are beyond happy with the choice my husband and I made to go with the Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington for our ceremony and reception. Kelly always made us feel comfortable, especially when I was feeling overwhelmed about the process. Kelly responded to our questions and/or needs promptly, and I never felt like I was being a burden. Day of, Kelly had everything ready to go and my husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing. She even started to set up the day before and always made sure that she was sure what kind of vision we had for our special day. She checked in with us before and after the ceremony, as well as throughout the reception, and stayed fairly late into the night to ensure that everything was perfect for us. We received several compliments on the food, even still over a month later people mention it to us! The space was beautiful, requiring very little decorating, and was the perfect size for our 160 guests. We also rented the outdoor space which was a hit all night, and beautiful in itself with the included cafĂŠ lighting. Additionally, being at a hotel proved to be a wonderful choice as many of our guests stayed overnight and did not have to drive home allowing them to stay up later with us! The complimentary suite for bride and groom was a nice plus, and was the perfect space for myself and my bridesmaids to get ready. Overall, I highly recommend the Hilton Minneapolis/Bloomington!

My husband and I were very impressed with the Hilton Bloomington as our wedding venue and working with Amber. We cannot say enough about this venue. Everything was effortless and perfect. I kept wondering what was going to go wrong because it all seemed too easy, but it just felt that way because they are experts at what they do. Amber responded to every random question and every weird request instantly and with no qualms. She is personable, fun and knows exactly what she is doing. Guests may have not needed our set time slots and they were able to call and accommodate them even more. We booked a suite and were able to get ready in our room which was fantastic! Alexandra, Riana and Amber were beyond WONDERFUL to work with - they are organized, very detail oriented and provide outstanding customer service. They were are quick to get back to me on any questions that I had (which were many!) and expressed great enuthusiam in making this reception top notch! I really like that the Hilton has you fill out a \"planner\" as a tool to help the bride/groom/coordinators organize everything. It really helped a Type A person like me feel less stressed and more in control. We also liked that we got to choose from various promotions (a free keg, free champagne for toasts or free uplifting). My husband, myself and two other guests could also come to a tasting with us (did I mention that the food is AMAZING)?!My husband and I also really appreciated that little things were done for us such as leaving appetizers and drinks for us at our head table (we were running around during most of our cocktail hour!), not including dressing on my husband's salad (per his preference) and bringing cake up to our room for us to enjoy later. Now that's service! I truly could not have been more pleased with everything and cannot thank the Hilton enough for everything. The hotel staff did so many little details so that I didn't have to worry about them the day of the wedding. Like placing my favors on the tables and setting up my guest book. Little things like these is what made the day as stress free as possible for myself and groom. The banquet space is beautiful, very modern and updated. The food was amazing and the wait staff did a great job taking care of all my guests. The bartenders were great, before the ceremony Stacey helped get my dress train perfectly lined up. She saw my mom doing it and jumped right in. During dinner the bartender Tracy brought my groom and I a drink without us asking. It is all these little details from the staff along with all the major details that Alexandra had set up that made me love the Hilton and would recommend it to anyone.

the hotel was very accomodating to our needs and were very pleasant. I would recommend this hotel to any couple planning a wedding. We held both the ceremony and the reception here

The Hilton was so wonderful helping us with all the wedding accommodations. Our guests were thrilled with the hotel and shuttle service. We paid $40 for an almost non-stop shutte service for 4 hours. The rooms were nice and we also were given an AWESOME suite for booking 20 rooms with the Hilton. The Rate for the guests was only $89!!!

Kat made planning the reception one of the easiest parts of planning for me. We were able to plan a great evening with fantastic food within my budget. Centerpieces, dance floor, and set up are included with wedding packages. I would highly recommend checking out the Hilton and talking with Kat about your reception.
